Speaker 1 (00:08):
Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the
power that worketh in us. Unto Him, be the glory
in the Church by Christ Jesus, throughout all ages world
without end a men. Ephesians three, twenty and twenty one.

(00:34):
If you're a follower of Jesus, the Holy Spirit lives
in you. That's not just a nice thought. It's a
life changing truth. It changes everything about everything. And if
we really believe that, if we took it to heart,
wouldn't it change the way that we live, the way
that we pray, the way that we pursue the mission

(00:55):
that God has given us. Far too often our prayers
are just too small. Mine are too small. We have
prayers like Lord, give me this day or bless this food.
And while those aren't wrong, and I don't discourage from them,
they're great things, but they are safe. And we don't
just serve a safe, small God. We serve a big
God that spoke creation into existence. And Ephesians III reminds

(01:19):
us that God can do far more than we ask,
think or imagine. He's not limited by our understanding, our doubts,
or our low expectations. But he is with us, His
power is with us, his grace is towards us, and
his strength is made perfect in our weakness. So let's
stop limiting what God can do. Let's align ourselves with

(01:40):
his mission. Let's pray big, Let's ask boldly, and let's
trust fully, and when he comes through, let's give him
all the honor and glory and thank him that we
get to be part of his story and what he
is doing. Father, thank you for being a God who

(02:01):
does more than we can ask, thing or imagine. Thank
you for being a god that forgives us for thinking
too small, for praying too small. But we also ask
that you would grow our faith, that you would stir
our hearts to pray boldly. As we align ourselves, our hearts,
our eyes with your mission. Please use us for your

(02:22):
glory and for the good of others. Let your power
work in us, and may all the glory go to you.
We love you and thank you for loving us and Jesus' name. Amen,
