For I know the plans that I have for you,
declares the Lord plans to prosper you and not to
harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a
future Jeremiah twenty nine to eleven. God has plans to
give us a hope and a future. It's important not
to miss the context here. God spoke this to his

(00:31):
people who were going into exile, and it wasn't a
mystery why Israel had rejected God's ways over and over
and over again. But even then, right in the middle
of loss, uncertainty, and destruction, God tells Israel that he
has a plan for them.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Even though everything around them looked bleak, God hadn't forgotten them,
still working, still faithful, still working their story for his glory.
Just because you follow Jesus doesn't mean life will be easy.
In fact, he tells us to expect trials and tribulations.
But if we suffer for what Christ has called us
to that suffering is never wasted. God can use it

(01:11):
to grow our faith, to build our character, and to
make us more like him. Be encouraged today, even in
the middle of fire, God is working in you, refining
you for the purpose he has set out before you,
God Almighty, help us to trust that you are working

(01:32):
in us, even in the hard times. You're preparing us
for what is ahead. Lord, strengthen our faith, Remind us
of your constant presence, and please give us the hope
that is beyond what we can understand. Thank you for
being with us every step along the way, and that
you'll never leave us. We love you and praise you

(01:53):
in Jesus name. Amen.
