But we got midweek major on this hump day, we

pop culture. We decide are they mid week or major stories?
Tom Brady's in the news, Aaron Rodgers news. But the
biggest story today is Megan Fox's ass am. I right,
have you right? Have you guys seen this? Megan Fox

(01:49):
got I got to give credit where it's due. And
it has nothing to do with Megan Fox. It has
to do with KFC because he said, look, she was
already Barry Bonds. She was already a Hall of Fame.
So she was already like Terminator days and I'm sorry,
Transformer days. She was already like Barry Bonds in his
Pirate uniform. But with the BBL and the butt implants

(02:11):
or butt work, she got done. She's like Marry Bonds
on the Giant Steroids. Yeah, she's a Barry Bonds on
the Giant. She was Barry Bonds on the Pirates. Now
now she's just like next level. I liked the old
Megan Fox. You know, well, hey before she was like
a vampire. Apparently she got work done, guys, I'm just kidding,
but not really. Look it up on a really fantaic story.

(02:32):
But we're broadcasting live from the Fox Sports Radio studio.

slash at Covino and rich FSR. We're streaming live. The
live chat is up at covin on rich FSR and
let's go. Man. I want to talk about Aaron Rodgers,
but I want to tell you I just came straight

(03:06):
from the gym and call me Dicky Columbus. I know
you guys like to say that something doesn't exist until
I discover it.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
We don't like to say it. We just say because
it's true.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Yeah, you like to say it. For example, I used
to talk about going through the sauna for years, and
we're going one of Rich's years and out the other,
and he would criticize me and ask me about the
benefits and why do I waste my time? Now he's
like the biggest spokesman for the sauna. Well, I just
think that the combination of some of the things I'm doing,

(03:39):
I might be working. I don't know. I feel like
I feel like everyone around me is getting the sniffles
and they're sick. Vitamin D sauna three or four days
a week, and I'm on the NAD plus. I don't
know if that's doing anything. Bud, I'm sorry, I'm distracted
by Megan Fox's butt on our YouTube stream right now.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Remember that time, back in the day, I told you
about the show Penguin. Yeah, for weeks and weeks and weeks,
and Rich ignored me, and then Rich watched it himself,
finally comes in and.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Acts like you never mentioned the thing. It's not it's
not that.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Now he's excited about it. He acts like you never
said it, and he's the first to tell you about it.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
That's why I sticky Columbus.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
We all are late to things and that's fine, and
we discover things at our own time. That's fine. The
way you present it it makes people want to strangle you.
That's really it. So you don't want to strangle me.
I get it, this sauna, I get it. I'm sorry,
held only ask Colin his thoughts one second. No, I'm
not this again.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Every play, every stand, every storyline, I've got it all.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
What do you want to know?

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Hey, Colin, do you ever hit the sauna my bud?

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Oh my god? Oh yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
I'm a sauna guy because it's the simplest reset button.
There is, sweat, breathe, clear the head, move on. But
I'm not doing the sit in there forever and prove
your tough routine.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
That's ego. Oh thank you Collin. Okay, but they know
he's right. I do fifteen minutes in and out, and
then when people start talking to me about their life,
I'm like, ah, I think it's time for me to go.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
I have a great one, buddy, he's not here to
talk to you.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
I've been using this app too much. I've been asking
calling for Colin for like marriage advice, parenting advice, all day.
By the way, I should I deserve a metal Do
I get a Fox Sports Radio pin Pen metal something?
I gotta hear this guy all day. Hey Colin, Hey Colin.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
I think it's ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Oh my goodness. All right, speaking of going to the gym,
this is a perfect way to transition. Yeah, transistrate. I
think the sauna is a great way. I use it,
like to wrap up my session, like to gather my thoughts.
But I don't know if they they say that.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
The health the health benefits are fantastic.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Yeah, but I'm saying I don't know if you should
start your routine with them, right? You end it? I
end it?

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Okay, So cool, And.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Hence the backwards hat. I was too sweaty and my
hair was messed u. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
So you guys talked recently about all the things that
caused dementia. Apparently the sauna is good for warding off
the dementia, keeping it up at bay, keeping it away.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Has that entered your algorithm to every other thing is
like how to avoid dementia when you're old. What causes dementia? Yeah,
fighting back and forth.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
It's an awful, terrible disease.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
So it's great for your immune system, circulation. There's all
sorts of health benefits. So they say, how you know what. Honestly,
it just relaxes you. It calms you down. I feel like,
if I can get through this miserable fifteen twenty minutes,
I can get through anything the rest of my day.
Decompress a little bit, maybe sweat out some toxins, some
of the damage you did over the weekend. Just a

(06:38):
few times a week fifteen twenty minutes. And let's talk
about Jim Well. I was gonna say thanks for hearing
me out since I discovered the sauna. No Aaron Rodgers.
I you know a guy that usually I'm like, what
is this guy talking about? Is ayahuasca? Is? You know?
Weird antics? But I do find him original, I find
him intriguing. I know Danny g hates when I talk

(06:59):
about him, so some times it makes me want to
talk about him more. Well, there's certain people that transcend
the game and you like him for who they are,
what they're about, Like, they're interesting. Mike Tyson's one of
those guys. Shila buff is another one of those guys,
Like what's going on? He's just an interesting dude. Because
they're so vulnerable and honest, right. And Aaron Rodgers is

(07:19):
that guy in the NFL. He just loves to put
it out there and talk about the things he's into.
And he's really interesting, polarizing. It just depends how you
feel about it. But he makes you feel some type
of way, that's for sure. Well, Aaron Rodgers was on McAfee,
and I don't think I've ever related to Aaron Rodgers
more when he talked about one of the reasons, in fact,

(07:40):
the reason he works.

Speaker 6 (07:41):
Out, I'm trying to stay fit. To me, it's harder
when you get older, so you kind of can't take
the same amount of time off as he used to.
You know, after so many seasons, I would take, you know,
a few weeks off, a month off, month and a
half now you know, now forty two. Just to stay
in shape, you gotta kind of always be doubted on
the diet and sleep and workouts if you want to

(08:03):
look the right way. You know, I want to look good.
I want my wife to want to all the time.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
I feel the same way. People say why do you
work out? And I think, of course you're gonna say, oh, health,
buddle foods and stuff like that, because that's important, right,
longevity health. I sound like Colin Longevity Hell the benefits
of the sauna. Hey, Colin stars stars. But one of
the main reasons I work out is I've always said

(08:32):
I always want my wife to want me, not because
she married me, because she genuinely still wants me. I
like it makes me sad when it's like when people
are like, oh, the old ball and chain, or wives
talking about their husband like that. But I'm pretty sure
Cheap Trick had a song about it. I want you
to want me long before Dicky Columbus Robin Xander wrote
these words down, long before you came up. But you know,

(08:54):
you hear wives talking about their husband just look like
a big potato. You hear husbands being like, oh, my
old bull and change, she used to be good looking,
shaddle bags, old saddle bags. I I never want my
wife to be with me intimately and think I'm only
doing this because he's my husband and I guess we
sort of have to. That really makes me sad. So

(09:16):
part of when I go to the gym is because
I want my wife to want me.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
I think anything that motivates you is good.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
I really do. I don't care what it is, even
if it's something like vengeful, if it motivates you in
a weird way, you know, and I'll show them kind
of thing. I think that's great. I don't care whatever
gets you're ass to the gym, whatever it helps you
work harder and push harder. I think that's a good thing.
And I think this is just another layer to other
things like I'm I'm here to say.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Should I say in Russian? I fight for me, dude,
go to the gym.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
It's just quoting drag and Rocky Forday he doesn't know Russian.
Yah Ya, I'm quoting Ivan Drago. You said, I fight
for me. I go to the him for pure vanity
reasons for myself and health benefits. Health benefits vanity reasons.
And by the fault, you're looking good for your significant other.

(10:10):
But I'm being straight up honest, whether that makes me
a jerk or not, I do it for me. You
can say, nobody can say it's selfish, but I want
my wife to think always that's not selfish, that's selfless.
But I want saying you do it for her. I
do because I want her, because it all goes back
to me, though, because it's self serving, I want her
to think I made a great choice, like I want

(10:31):
her as we get older, like he's a provider. He
stayed in shade, like oh, keeps them on their toes.
And I wouldn't be surprised if that's your subconscious way
of doing that. Well, if I'm looking good, yeah, you
better not slippy. I don't know rituals.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
He's like, look, I'm putting in the effort. You better
be putting in the effort.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
But I think what Aaron Rodgers said there is super relatable.
Hey to me at least. I think there's a lot
of people that go to the gym, and people love
to lead with the obvious. You do it for health,
You want to live long, for your kids. You know,
no one will All one wants to feel sick.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
I mean, we're all in front of cameras. Now one
wants do you want to look like a slot?

Speaker 1 (11:05):
Battle disease and all the terrible things. But I think,
deep down inside there should be a part of all
of us that is like, yeah, and I sort of
want my wife to want me.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
You want to everybody.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
I think I think it's a it's a natural sort
of need for everyone to want to feel desired on
some level, and if it helps, there's no shame in
that either. So again, Aaron Rodgers, I respect your honesty.
I really do you want to go on vacation vacation
and have your wife to do the ald Lazy Starfish?
Because it's just like, hey, we're married, let's do it.

(11:34):
Or do you want or you want to be like, hey,
we still are attracted.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
To each lazy Starfish.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
I didn't know that was a name for that, the
lazy star It's called your your ex girlfriend told me
it was your movie. Yeah, I didn't know, and I
have to it's called the Lazy Starfish. Okay, But look,
I think it's a byproduct of staying fit or at
least doing your best. You don't need to be Johnny Ripplepecks.

(11:59):
You don't need to be ripped like Jesus. In fact,
the older you get, the harder it is. But if
you're doing your best to maintain I think that sends
out the right signal. Now when you say rit me
say ripped like Jesus, did he do P ninety X?
He did? Yeah? CrossFit? I think, well, but yeah, can tibo?
I think he had some aps for sure. So Aaron Rodgers.
His workout motivation is I want my wife to want

(12:22):
to f me. Oh he was on this diet of
bread and wine. They say, it's really you know, but
stay in shape at forty two. Honestly, I get it.
You're an old guy on the field, but you're still
a young guy in life, especially the way people are
aging now. Forty two get out of here. You know.
Riches on nads like you said, any r D, what

(12:43):
do you want nads on? NAD plus forty two is
the new thirty two? Is how I see it. Na
D plus just vitamin D deadly vitamin sauna. I've heard
a lot of people talking about do you know a
lot of your friends and people that get into like
the pep tides and all these injections and things all
the time.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
Everybody's trying to for a shortcut.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
But shortcut or assistance adaptations, just you know, do your
best and try to stay healthy. Well, Danny, I know
this helps. I'm not judging anything, Danny, I say, is that? Yes?

Speaker 2 (13:16):
What am I saying?

Speaker 1 (13:17):
Rich? I don't know what you're saying. I was gonna say.
I know, Danny g had cut back on sugar quite
a bit, and I bet you it's twofold. One is
that you got a young kid and your dad and
you want to live a longer life. But I'm trying.
It's a part of you that's like, yeah, I want,
Brundall want. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
I mean, I realized how much sugar was in some
of the things that I was consuming every day. When
you actually check the back of like a soda or
something like that and you see the grams of sugar, Like,
holy s I am gonna get diabetes if I keep
this up, so I have cut. I check the sugars.
If it is above eleven grams of sugar, I do

(13:54):
not buy it.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
The control comes from an expectation of yourself, and I
don't That's how I view it. I'm not trying to
do any of this for anyone else but me, and
I'm being dead serious about that, because you should have
an expectation of yourself and your own value and what
you want to present and bring to the table as
an adults, as a father, as a partner. And again

(14:21):
with that self expectation, right, don't you have like a
sense of pride like that you want to bring that
sort of and the byproduct there is that's attractive to everybody.
You're leading by example. You're showing the one you care
about that you're putting yourself first. And I think that's fine.
I'm not doing it for anyone else. Aaron Rodgers, I
salute you. What is the one thing you did realize

(14:42):
how bad it is over the years. I saw some
dude on TikTok and we all know this already, but
he ordered, quite possibly just by design, like the worst
thing you can get at Starbucks. He's like, can I
get the.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Extra VENTI with the drizzle and the caramel?

Speaker 3 (14:56):
And he read off the ingredients and yeah, I used
to get those caramel frappit Gina.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
But he was like, yeah, four.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
Do you realize there's a show goodness to two thousand
calories and one?

Speaker 5 (15:07):
To quote Jennifer Coolidge, double cream, double froth, double whip,
double pump.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Did you see that? Double fro double cream, double fro
double And you're allowed to have that if you're balancing
things out. No compliments on my Jennifer Coolich. I thought
that was pretty good. That's good.

Speaker 5 (15:22):
Double wrap, double cream, double cream, dopple pump, dopple froth.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
That's right, that's that's good. But Hey, so what's your motivation?
Is it other women? Is it the women in your life,
the other.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
Moms at the school? To one man, I'll tell you
straight up again, this is It sounds different, but everyone's
in front of a camera more so than ever before,
especially younger people. It's not just people in media and entertainment.
But when rich and I were on ESPN every night,
you better believe, I saw myself on camera and I
was like, oh man, no, I have to trim up. Yeah,

(16:02):
I'm not gonna look like that every night. So I
got out of die and I lost the weight and
I hit the gym. You know why, Now I do
the you know, bare minimum. I'm not.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
I know where I'm at. I'm not mister universe, and
I'm good with that.

Speaker 4 (16:13):
You know why?

Speaker 1 (16:14):
You crazy? You know why. There's a lot of people
that have, you know, focus on this a lot, and
there's a lot of issues with people in their appearance,
and there's an expectation as Isaac shows his arms all
over of that my goodness.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Whoa, Oh my gods, that bowser from Shanna Nah.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
Look at this guy?

Speaker 2 (16:33):
Is that the news anchor Flex Camp? Oh my goodness,
look at this dude? Hey, Sam, you want to turn
on Isaac's mike. Man, he had twenty two inch pithos.

Speaker 5 (16:41):
Sorry, my boss was in here talking about defeat It
important business matters over here.

Speaker 7 (16:46):
The microphone is not the only thing being turned on.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Boys. I mean, I was wondering if Sam was talking
to someone or if he was just in all of
your biceps. I was looking this direction, ad in the
back of my head. Isaac's in the back of my head.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
Good on you look in the other direction. Yeah, I'm
kind of I kind of. I don't like the fact
that I regret that I looked over. Anyway, I think
it helps guy that Tabasco shirt spicy. You know, there's
a lot of guys. The reason we bring this up.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
Too is I and we just lost twenty seven years
no no, no, no, no, yeah, but we gained seventy
five women. Look at that chiving in now. Rich and
I talked to a lot of dudes throughout the years
doing our talk show, right and because we do Covino
and rich On, Patreons More Lifestyle, and then of course
we come here and talk sports and we have fun.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
But a lot of times they complain. Men complain a lot.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
About how your physical relationship sort of weans off after
a while, right, But guys have a big time problem
looking within and at themselves.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
It's like, well, she's not bringing it the way she
used to.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
It's like, well you looked in the mirror lately, dude,
Like maybe there's a little more you could be doing.
So use this Aaron Rodgers story as a reminder that, yeah,
it does require a little effort on your part. Maybe
that beer belly you got really isn't curling the toes
like it used to. Right, And everyone no one's what
they used to be. We understand that, but you could

(18:14):
do your best. And I think Aaron Rodgers is is
preaching a good word. But like I said, whatever motivates
you is a good thing. I find the guy intriguing
and I just thought it was an interesting thought saying that,
you know, he's in his forties, takes a little more
to stay in shape. He has to work out a
little more in the off season. And you know part
two of that is that he wants his new wife
to want to sleep with And that's a relief considering

(18:35):
how much men complain about this stuff.

Speaker 5 (18:38):
The thing about this is is he's great, He's talking
about his wife. We still don't know what she looks
like or who she is. She's still a mystery. That's
it's like your girlfriend, right, like no one really knows.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
A double day, isn't it. By the way, the anniversary
of the backyard photo you gave Dan Byer coming up
in a few days last year, were as like.

Speaker 5 (19:00):
Picture of your girlfriend and you sent him a picture
of her yard or something. They were like, what's the
weather like in Iowa in early March? And I just
sent a generic picture of her backyard instead of you,
instead of like you and her, it was just a
picture of the yard. And then Dan, it's weird was
in the backyard using the ship. No, listen, Kristen, my
girlfriend has more real identity than Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
Why Kirsten was your cat.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Nam or something like that. You know, Sam, I forgot
for a minute, like, yeah, we don't know who she is.
You're right about that. There's been no reveal of who
she is. There's been speculation if she even existed. But
you know, the more he talks about he right, the
more we have to assume, yeesh, she's real. It's like
maybe you want to like and he doesn't have to.
He can keep it a secret as much he wants.

Speaker 5 (19:47):
But maybe it's like, if you're gonna talk about her,
maybe we could like see a picture of her, like
you know, we have.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Sudden that now we want to see, like who wants
Aaron rod But yeah, it's crazy about this story. Like
for you guys that are down and out, the guys
that do complain about this to us all the time.
We hear this all the time. It's a very common theme, like,
oh man, yeah, it's been years since we got down.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
What was the stat I told you the other day?

Speaker 1 (20:09):
It was No, I remember it now. What was it?
Was it not one out of three men hasn't touched
a woman in a year? Yes, like something absurd. But
I want to put this in perspective as I look
around the room, like even Aaron Rodgers, this guy's fun
famous one of.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
Nine, which you're trying to turn us sound to losers.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
No. Three, I think, yeah, look that up, Look that up.
But Aaron Rodgers, think about it. He has to keep
his woman wanting him, like being a superstar in the
NFL making millions? Is it enough? So I think we
all need to put a little more effort in and
if it's just for you or if it's just for her,

(20:51):
either way it's it's healthier and it's a win win,
So it's a healthier choice. So make it happen. And
you know, to back up everything you're saying about Van
being part of the workout, do you know that? I
admit I read an interesting article that said humans were
never designed or intended to see themselves as much as
we do think about it. Cavemen, Well, you see your

(21:12):
reflection in a river, maybe we like pond river. You
can't see your pectiones, cameras, mirrors, all these things. There
are things that weren't necessarily intended for us to see
ourselves non stop, right, non stop.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Yeah, and that gets in your head a little bit.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
And by the way, New York Post last week Americans
are in averge of sextinction as shocking numbers are going
without sex and they blame social media. People are experiencing
extended periods of sexlessness. In the US, A staggering one
in three men and one in five women have not

(21:53):
been intimate in the past twelve months.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
And Aaron Rodgers is trying to prevent that from happening.

Speaker 7 (21:59):
There's no.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
Thank you. Sim All right, listen, we got more Covine

the times.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
It's Chinese Taipei versus Australia tonight seven pm on the West,
ten pm on the East, and then USA plays on Friday. Yeah,
I got to ask before we get into more baseball
and some Tom Brady talk. I do have one question
and I'm gonna get to Wan Soda. I heard Isaac

(25:43):
and his update, and yesterday we talked about Kyler Murray
out right gets released. Cardinals save a little money by
doing it this way. He's a freeman. He has a
couple a couple ideas of where he wants to go.
The Dolphins dragging their feet a little bit on tour right,
there's no update on two that, but likely out right
Stefan Diggs out today. Which of these free agents, well,

(26:07):
which of these free men essentially do you think we'll
find like a nice fit for next year? Is like,
is there someone where you're like man Kyler Murray? If
he finds up in Minnesota, they got something like I
think for Kyler Murray to move on, like he wanted
to leave, well yeah he did. He said he wanted
to release. I'm sure, yeah, but I know it didn't
work out the way he wanted to. But for him
to leave thirty something on the table for next year,

(26:30):
thirty something million, I think he has to have something
up his sleeve.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
I know that there's options out there. I think He's
already want him.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
He's already made so much money, more money than he
would have ever made him baseball unless he was uh,
you know, like Sodo level of you know, Mookie Mets level,
o Tani level or something.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
I read an opinion piece this morning that the Jets
should pursue to.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
A I just heard earlier that a arch Manning has
you know, Jets have their eye on what could happen
if they figure a way to get arch Manning in
a year or so. I don't know, man I is
too a placeholder some of these guys, I wonder, and
then you you know who else. I see a lot
of people rumbling about the Niners are hoping to retain him.

(27:15):
But have you been following along the off season of
Mac Jones. This guy's like the life of the party.
I don't know. I did not know the side of him.
The forty nine ers are all parting and vacationing together.
Mac Jones is dancing and drinking and having fun with
this guy. Dude, magic buddy, Buddy. Mac Jones looks like
the most fun dude you've ever seen in your life.

(27:36):
Never saw this side of him, And they're saying the
Niners say, you remember him shirtless smoking the cigar after
you won the Dad, you know what, maybe I did forget.
But Mac Jones is a guy that it just seems
like a real good locker room type of dude. And
the forty nine ers are saying, if you want mac Jones,
you're gonna have to part with a first round draft pick,
which I don't think will happen. So he'll probably be
the Niners backup again. But mac Jones might be someone

(27:59):
suitable guy who knows. But we're talking about football and
it's not even the season.

Speaker 3 (28:03):
I love how Max Jones was beating people in the
head with snowballs. Yeah in New York.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
I mean, the guy's just having fun. Mac Jones could
be the next guy. He could be the next Sam
Darnold or Baker Froll. We know. And speaking of football,
the story today is Aaron Rodgers. His workout motivation at
forty two is he had to stay in shape, but
so his wife wants to continue fing him. And I'm
quoting Aaron Rodgers a good reason And to wrap up

(28:30):
my point again, whatever motivates you is great. But I
think if you have a standard that you set for yourself,
and you're doing your best to meet that standard. Everything
else happens the way it should, because that doesn't guarantee
she's still gonna watch you. You could be the weakest
dude going, but you're in great shape. You could just
do your best. You'd be a ripped loser. Yeah, so hey,

(28:50):
but it's great to hear that Aaron Rodgers is motivated.
Let me I'm forty two, let me shift gears. As
you said, we're getting ready for the World Baseball Classic.
I am totally have you got has been seeing my dude,
Juan Soto rip the cover off the ball. This guy's
in the zone where I'm almost like, dude, you should
have saved it. Wan Soto hit a home run in

(29:11):
front of his grandpa in the Dominican Republic, and wow,
the crowd looked like it was Game.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
Seven of the World Series. Just to say, with the
international passion of baseball.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
If you haven't seen the clip, Juan Soto hits a
bomb four hundred and twenty plus feet the crowd is
all jumping in Unison like they're at a rock concert
in the eighties. Well that's how again, it's culturally different.
Manny Machado's on record for saying that one of those
DR games he played in was the loudest game he
ever played in in his life. And he seemed like
he said, there was a band in every section just

(29:41):
going nuts, playing instruments, having the time of their life.
So the atmosphere is totally different. I think that plays
into you know, what you're witnessing the reaction.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
Those are his people.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
Man, you can't compare what he's doing in front of
his people and his family and the pride and those teammates,
those are his boys. Well, I have a question for
you then, and Isaac and Danny and Sam and everyone
for that matter. Eight seven, seven, nine nine on Fox.
When you see Juan Soto at the R team stat
and it's not just him hitting bombs. He's playing to
the crowd. He's doing the Sodo shuffle again. He has

(30:13):
special handshakes with each teammate when he scores. This is
a very different Wan Soto then, because the difference is
and I think, your boy, you know that shirt you're
wearing right now.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
Lindor made it very clear they're not all best friends.

Speaker 1 (30:26):
It's a job. It's more like a job. It's the
difference between working with your boys and working with your colleagues, right,
so the Mets would be his colleagues.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
All these Dominican dudes are his boys.

Speaker 1 (30:37):
They all grew up the same way, the same culture,
same people. They have a big hitting sort of camaraderie.
They're playing in front of their their their countries. Grandpa, Yeah,
his grandpa, Like it's deeper than that, and you see
it in his shows. And that's why tournaments like this
are so prideful and they mean that much more so.
There's layers to this. There is is it wan Soto's

(30:58):
joy of playing in the Dominican Republic? Was he that
unhappy with Lindor and Alonzo and Nimo and all these
guys that apparently the Mets shipped out because did you
know there was dissension?

Speaker 2 (31:10):
I think we all know what Sodo is capable of.

Speaker 1 (31:12):
I think this is a reminder but of you get
a type of guy he's you could capable of being.
You could picture what.

Speaker 2 (31:18):
I'm talking about. You know, when Soto gets down Loan does.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
That the low five horse, Yeah, and feeling he's feeling himself,
He's feeling everything. And as a Mets fan who watches
day in and day out, I was like, where was
that Juan Soto? Last year? His numbers were big.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
But when he would hit a home run, it would
be like he almost gave up Peter a lonzo a handschack.

Speaker 1 (31:35):
It was work, you know, fell like work. This feels different.
I don't know, but and again, you know, not to
put it all on the Mets. This is a tournament.
People take a lot of pride in representing their country,
and I think that's what we're downplaying as well. Although
as a Mets fan, I would hope Rich that he
takes some of this vibe, some of this momentum, this motivation,
this excitement, and I hope he brings it to Queens.

Speaker 2 (31:56):
You know, he brings it to the Mets.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
I said to you when we were doing our pre
show media, I said, you know, it's a reflection of
what he's capable of. And I'll make I'll make a
dirty analogy. No, boy. You know when you go on vacation,
when you first start dating a girl, and let's just say,
you have that good vacation, hotel loving oh boy, and
you're thinking to yourself, oh, you show me where you're
capable of. So when we get back home, see what

(32:19):
you did Long Crown, you showed some arms, and you
got Rich all worked up. I'm just I mean, it's expected. Sorry, Isaac,
you start flexing in there, and now Rich is all
horned up? Wasn't the first time? Won't be the lad
I'm just saying, oh, but but it's true though, if
your girlfriend or wife gets all kinky on vacation, she's
what she's doing is she's showing you what she's capable of.
And I'm seeing Juan Soto now showing every Mets fan

(32:42):
what I'm capable of.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
Setting analistic war.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
Soto's capable of doing his Wan Soto shovel, He's capable
of playing with joy and much like a horned up
wife on vacation, Juan Soto has showed us his cards.
And it's like, well, if you don't do that in
Queens now with you know, Polanco and Simeon and and
your new teammates and you know, make amends with the Lindor,

(33:06):
then that's on you.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
So once Soto showed me, you know.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
What it reminds me of. Have you guys ever seen
these videos on social media? Isaac, I'm sure you have
where a wife will be like here's all pictures of
my husband with me, and he has like like a
frown on, and it's like, here's my husband on a
fishing trip and he's smiling ear to ear with a fish,
Like I know you're capable on sodo, sodo, You're capable.
Once you set that standard, there's no moving back because

(33:29):
people know what you're capable of. And isn't that old
Chris Rocket bit like, man can't move back, you can't
be actually, and women can't move back financially, like once
they've seen that, once they've experienced this, they can't move backwards.
You can't hang in the Aaron's Juan Soto high five
and his Dominican teammates and compadres.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
You can't bring that weak ass, dull energy to the Mets.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
Kid. You can't be hanging naked from a shade leer
on vacation and then just lay there when you get home.
All right?

Speaker 2 (33:57):
With that said, Isaac clone Crown, what's one bud chandelier?

Speaker 1 (34:01):
Huh, just saying I'm saying I don't know.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
Sorry, Well, booking a vacation, yeah, looking up light fixtures.

Speaker 7 (34:11):
Yeah, it's gonna go to home depot right in. I
was at home Demore earlier today. I'm not kidding all right, fellows.
We got plenty of news across all aspects of football.
The AFC champion New England Patriots are releasing four time
Pro Bowl receiver Stefan Diggs, who posted on his Instagram
stories of the Patriots quote, thank you for a hell

(34:32):
of a year. We family forever unquote. The Kansas City
Chiefs are trading all Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie to the
Los Angeles Rams for four draft picks, including a first rounder.
The Dallas Cowboys restructured the contracts of quarterback Dak Prescott,
receiver c d Lamb, and left guard Tyler Smith in
order to get unto the salary cap. The Los Angeles

(34:52):
Chargers released offensive lineman Mackai Becton and tight end Will Disley.
The New York Giants released linebacker Bobby o'carah kay. Former
Notre Dame head coach Lou Holtz passed away today at
the age of eighty nine. Holts went one hundred and
thirty and two over eleven seasons as the head coach
of the Fighting Irish, including a national championship in nineteen

(35:13):
eighty eight that they clinched with a Fiesta bole victory
over West Virginia and there it is the final.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Seconds tick away in Notre Dame.

Speaker 3 (35:22):
Well duly celebrate a national championship.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
No doubt the Irish are number one.

Speaker 7 (35:30):
Finally, Cavino and Rich, we have a bodybuilding update at
mckhely as accused beloved Fox Sports radio personalities Cavino and
Rich of having spindly leg muscles posting and I quote,
good thing, those stick legs are hidden by the desk

(35:51):
couple of upper body only dudes.

Speaker 1 (35:54):
Unquote. Thank to you guys. Maybe I skipped like name
my whole life. Yeah, true, that is true. Lake's Cavino
over here. And by the way, thank you Isaac. Great
update to back me up my buddy Chris to hit
me up. He's listening in Connecticut. Yeah, and he was
saying watching Juan Soto celebrate with the DR team is
actually making him mad. I go, no, no, you just
got to hope now that he showed you what he's

(36:16):
capable of, and he brings that excitement that he also
had with the Yankees a little bit to queens this year.
That's all you got to hope for, and you hope
again to tie it to yourself. You mentioned that phishing thing. Yeah,
on the flip side too, Like there's a lot of
times I'll see my girlfriend partying, Like she'll post videos
of her partying with her girlfriends and she's bringing all

(36:38):
this excitement and she's doing karaoke and she's partying. I'm like,
where's there all that fun when you're hanging with me? Yeah,
it gotta go both ways, you know you you want
that to happen all the time. So if I were
a Mets fan, want Soto better bring that fun. So
her most fun is without you. That's not what you
want to feel. Like, right to dive into that list.

(37:00):
We got more conveni on Rich Sam. It's got midweek major.
I'm excited about that. We'll give away prizes with Mike's
words of wisdom. All next right here on Fox Sports Radio.
All right, welcome back to the show. A lot of
guys in La torn right now about Mexico versus the Dodgers. Oh,

(37:20):
I know, I know, all you Mexican La. It's so
interesting because you're You're right, Mexicans are torn right now, Like,
oh my goodness, do I cheer for Mexico or the
Doyers if you can say that he's Mexican. I know,
but it seems like every World Baseball team, World Baseball
Classic team is like an All Star squad and even
collaborate in all these other teams. Mexico and Dodgers are

(37:43):
tied right now at four, so it's like All Star
team versus All Stars.

Speaker 5 (37:47):
Dee, remember when I saw you wearing that Mexico hat
and I thought it was a Travis Matthew hat.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
Similar, It is similar. I have my Travis Matthew hat
on right now. And when I was at the gas
station about an hour and a half ago, some.

Speaker 1 (38:00):
He said, yeah, go Mexico, shout out all Travis Montail.
I'm right now. Do I root for the Doyers or Macho?

Speaker 2 (38:11):
I gave Danny the hypothetical yesterday.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
If you want to listen to the pod, what if
Otani was up against Team USA and like the final moment,
Like as a Dodgers fan, do you pull for the guy,
your guy Otani? Or I mean you want to see
him play good in the tournament, but not against USA?
I agree, I agree USA All Day. Cavino on rich
Line from the Fox Sports Radio studio, is time for

(38:33):
our tirerect play of the day in a surprising upset
Arizona State beat number fourteen Kansas seventy to sixty.

Speaker 4 (38:41):
Johnson directing traffic cross court to MAYUSA seven to shoot
May Houston out to pig tries to three hits it
Big Johnson?

Speaker 1 (38:49):
What a huge three? Did he say? Big Johnson? Big Johnson? Oh? Okay,
so I think his name? See what Isaac did? See
what Isac? That was courtesy of Sun Devil Radio Network
and that was our tirect play of the day for
for forty years, Tiraq helping customers find the right tires
for how, what and where they drive, ship fast and free,

(39:10):
backed by free road hazard protection with convenient installation options
like mobile tire installation ti iraq dot com.

Speaker 2 (39:17):
The way tire buying should be all right.

Speaker 1 (39:19):
In a little bit we are going to go over
Mike's words of wisdom, give away a prize Sam's got
mid Week Major. But to wrap up the Soto conversation
in life, in sports and anything, if you see what
someone's capable of, do you feel like that is the
standard in which they should be held? Yes, Like if
you are like Big Mike who runs his place, so
you'll hear his words of wisdom in a little bit.

(39:41):
Mike's like, well, she advised, I tell all young men,
I go what he goes. Manage expectations. He said. A
lot of young dudes are captain romance. Let me give
you a massage, let me take you out, let me
do this, and then when the relationship happens, they can't
maintain that. So it's also about pacing yourself. Yeah, you know,
it's like a comedian doesn't start off with his strongest jokes.

(40:01):
You gotta build up. A band doesn't play all their
hits and then play the junk. Yeah, you gotta pace yourself,
space it out a little bit, manage expectations. And I
just hope that Soto brings that momentum into the Met's
locker room. I think they need it.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
Yeah, old clubhouse, we'll be surprised.

Speaker 1 (40:19):
Man, don't don't downplay the pride that these players are
feeling representing their country. It's a whole different vibe. I'm
certainly not saying we don't have pride in the US.
I mean, you see it in the Olympics, but in
something like the World Baseball Classic, Major League Baseball is
in the United States. So there is a little something
different about these guys going back and proudly playing for
where their family is from or where they're a different

(40:40):
So there is a little bit difference, Like you gotta
be real with yourself. Want Soto playing in front of
his grandpa in the Dominican Republic is way different than
Bryce Harper taking some hacks with the team USA Jersey on.
But be that way now. So I'm trying to say, hey,
we should be supporting our dudes a team stacked because
everybody else is getting that support and they're getting fired up,
and if we don't get them firing up, they're gonna lose.

(41:01):
USA has to win this one, man. We'll see. That's
as I said yesterday. A nice little appetizer, the spinach
artichoke dip so to speak of the Major League Baseball season,
or what's a hot one that oh, Brussels sprouts. That's
like the hot appetizer. M M yummy? All right, Midweek
