because I'm in Texas for Worstfests?

Speaker 5 (00:48):
Or should I wear my Jamison Williams sex hat.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
The Jeeps and Williams had. It's pretty cool?

Speaker 4 (00:54):
Say, but this was fretty gem very Do you think
you like this?

Speaker 5 (00:59):
Look?

Speaker 1 (01:00):
That's good on you. You know what's funny as Rich
is wearing his hat.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
That's why you gotta watch our video Covino and Rich
FSR we're streaming live. Doesn't even fit his giant cubessa
like sits on his head like a little beanie doesn't
even fit his head.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Did you got I got a Bruce Bochie size head?

Speaker 5 (01:14):
What do you want to tell you?

Speaker 1 (01:15):
You do?

Speaker 3 (01:16):
I heard dance? It was it Dan Soder talking about it.
He goes, he's got such a big head. They have
to pull a special hat out. When he goes to Lidz,
they have like one hat in a box and they're like,
here you go, the one size eight that they have.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
That's Rich.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
With Iheartradios app, you can stream us wherever, whenever twenty

your friends about Covino and Rich.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
We appreciate it. Now.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
We still have last one standing our game, this sweep
in the nation, playing some games, getting you ready for
Monday night football. We if we have time, we'll talk
burner accounts. I know you have a rock party story, Rich,
but this day ball story today is probably the biggest story.
Any final thoughts on that twenty four There is a

(02:01):
feeling of that's a little unfair because now he's finally
got the guys he needs. You think there's any more
to this story.

Speaker 5 (02:10):
I mean, twenty forty and one.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
The first season was a really well coached nine to
seven and one, Like he made the playoffs, everyone thought
this is the guy.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
Eleven and thirty.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Three over the last few seasons is the worst in
the NFL other than the Titans by a half a game.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Yeah, with that, eleven thirty three and a twenty forty
and one. You know, he was playing Tommy DeVito, you
know throughout some of that that is he didn't have
a whole lot to work with. That's why it feels unfair.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
It's the only part of me Cavino that has sympathy
because listen, I don't want to see a guy lose
his job. I'm not a Giants fan, so I really
don't care. But there is a part of me that
thinks he got the raw deal because it's not like
the future is bleak.

Speaker 5 (02:54):
This is a guy that finally.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Got his quarterback in Jackson Dart, a guy that he
clearly wanted. Right, you got Skataboo, who's a knucklehead who
everyone loves Malik neighbors will be healthy. You thought that
they might let him run it back one more time
healthy and see what happens. But no, he'll never get
that shot now. But that will be the hottest seat
in coaching. As Dan Bayer said, is it Lane Kiffin?
There's odds from Belichick, John Gruden, there's you know, there's

(03:19):
Cliff Kingsbury. So there's a list of people that are
gonna really want to coach at MetLife.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
And Rich I don't want to backtrack, and you brought
it up, so I do want to say. It made
me go hmm. And Dan Byer sent this to us,
and I agree. This Jamis and Williams blurred hat story
is really funny because the hat says sex on it,
you know, that's that's what it says. I mean, I've
seen worse hats, but it's kind of wild that he

(03:45):
would wear that in a press conference.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
It's kind of wild that they blur it out.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
They made me think it was something like bad, like hey,
that's why we're all here.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Everyone you know, And and dB could probably relate. He's
a big George Michaels fan. You know, I want your
sex and anytime sex was said when you were a kid,
that was like a oh, don't say that word around
my parents, right, So I could see how that word
rough people the wrong way at some point in their life.

Speaker 6 (04:11):
At Lynz Jamison, Williams says I want your sex, hat please?

Speaker 1 (04:14):
I seven and one? Yeah, no, no, you know rich
S eight for him.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
It's funny you guys have said that because I remember
as a kid thinking Madonna like a virgin.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
I'm like, oh, dude, anytime sex was said in a song,
or like do Me by Bell Bivdevo or Push It
Salt and Peppa, any sex related Layton sex, I want
your sex, I want to sex you up?

Speaker 7 (04:38):
Il Oh yeah that colored me bad song. We got
uncomfortable when your mom was in the car and on
the radio. So I agree, we're adults. Why is it
blurred out?

Speaker 3 (04:46):
The only thing I could think of is because of
that feeling it it it gives you when families are
watching with kids and stuff.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
It just means how many.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
Times did you get caught watching a movie with like
your grandparents or parents, and like a scene came on
you're like, oh, like.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
He's a big fan of sex.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
I think my takeaway is he roots for sex because
he's wearing a sex hat.

Speaker 6 (05:08):
What are the other words that were on hats to
choose from, like you know, in the other like, okay, Dodgers, Yankees, Braves,
Cardinals sex.

Speaker 7 (05:22):
Yeah, well kek Hernandez had a sex at last year.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Remember Yeah, it was a like a butt snorkeler or
something like that.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
But hold on by Dan Buyer's thinking though, like you know,
you know you'll buy a Yankees hackers.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
You're a fan.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
He's just a.

Speaker 6 (05:34):
Fan of sex, Like, yes, that's his team. Yeah, so
funny man. The NFL is so strict with Remember when
Mike Nolan Richell, remember, like wanted to dress up on
the sidelines, Jack del Rio wore a suit. They're like, no, coaches,
you have to wear the apparel that fans can buy
in their team store. So why he thought like he

(05:56):
I guess he did get away with it because he
wore it. But the NFL blurring it out is not
a surprise considering they're so strict with everything else that
they do.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
So if you missed it, Jamis and Williams, wide receiver
of the Lions, I'm sorry, twenty four year old kid.
We got to keep that in perspective too, that that's
you know, he's a young man, he's doing goofy things.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
He wore a hat that had it just had sex
on it, and it was.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
Like clouds and lion king, remember the subliminal lion king
in the in the sky.

Speaker 5 (06:23):
Say I have a question for you. Let's let's play
connect the dots.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
So let's say you listen to Jamison Williams hat you
might end up with a baby. I thought the coolest
story over the weekend, Danny g you said this to
me over the weekend.

Speaker 5 (06:36):
I thought it was great.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
Mac Wilson Senior, his son took his first steps on
the field at Foxborough.

Speaker 7 (06:43):
Yeah, really cool.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Like imagine that, like your little kid comes down the
field and all of a sudden, your baby takes their
first steps, not in the living room, comed on, not
a grandma's house, on the field at fox Bar.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
What a bragging right for that kid, Right, that's pretty cool. Steps,
That's awesome, that's so cool.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
All right, Well, I said I had a couple of
things I wanted to mention, things that made me go
other than of course, like you said, could you know
Brian Dable the big story if you want to chime
in at Covin on Rich Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 5 (07:12):
I think we're all sort of torn in that he.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
Stunk it up, but we all somehow feel like he
deserves one more go at it because of like you said,
Tommy DeVito sort of defines it.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
At one point, his best option was Tommy DeVito. Don't
you think the guy deserves a little bit of a leeway.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
A little yeah, a little more a little bit.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
That's why I'm thinking maybe he didn't rub with these
newer guys the way we thought, Oh, you.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Know what with all those big names, Dan Byer mentioned
from Lane Kiffin too, Cliff Kingsbury to Gruden to Belichick.
I'm not saying these young dudes should have a say,
but do you think there will be some type of
personality clash test? Dan Bayer, if they were to interview
some of these guys bringing Dart and Scataboo, because they
are the future players of the team, you think there'll

(07:55):
be some type of hey, let's see how they how
they chat it up.

Speaker 6 (07:58):
I think that it has to like you can't afford
not to not that they would have the ultimate decision,
but whether they are the whether Jackson darts to quarterback for.

Speaker 7 (08:07):
The next ten or fifteen years.

Speaker 6 (08:09):
Who knows he's going to be the quarterback next year,
So there's got to be at least some sort of rapport.
You wouldn't want something foreign, so they may not have
a lot of power, But I think to your point,
that's something that you have to do and something that
probably wasn't done years ago.

Speaker 5 (08:22):
Now you almost have the Cavino.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
You'd almost have to play till like, listen, if I
know that these guys don't respond to this style of coaching,
I'm not going to bring in that type of coach.
It would just be counterproductive because if Jackson darts, clearly
your guys Scataboo's a fan favorite, Molik neighbors on the comeback,
you're going to have to find a guy that you
think could develop these guys in their personalities. Mesh, that's
such a big part of it, so should be really

(08:45):
interesting moving forward. Now my two notes before we move
on Kavino. There's a show that our buddies on our
group chat. Cavino won't have a group chat with like
random friends across the country. And sometimes I'll listen to
a show recommendation and other times I ignore it like Cavina.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Yeah, but you call them random friends. I actually call
them close friends, but continue they're.

Speaker 5 (09:08):
My best friends.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
Someone said, you know, have you checked out this new
Apple TV show? It has a Rhea Seahorn. You guys
know where is Kim Wexler from Better Call Saul. There's
a show called Pluribis on Apple TV, and Cavino this
is right up your steampipe, al. This is this is
the wackiest wild show I've ever seen.

Speaker 8 (09:32):
I don't like the title Pluribis. What is that like
e pluribus union?

Speaker 1 (09:38):
I don't like it.

Speaker 5 (09:38):
So you're telling me is this gonna be?

Speaker 4 (09:40):
You know, Covino didn't watch Handmaid's Tale because he's like,
they look like pill grimms.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Yeah, no interest from the get go, from the jump.
I mean Aid's Tale. I don't know about that.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Plorbis just means several or many. I don't like it,
like means out of many one. No, anybody's I see
it right here? Anybody go to school here, anybody.

Speaker 8 (09:59):
Anyone's not coins.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Pay attention tools like I just hat a plurbus of cupcakes.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
There you go. Before the show started, use it. I
hat a plurbos of cupcakes. Well, tell me about it.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
Well, I don't want to give too much to the
plot away, but if everyone needs a new show, if
you're watching Squid Game, The Challenge, if you're watching you know,
all the other things that around.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
I paid Doc Man on HBO, Max wats that it's.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
Park, The James Garfield documentary, The James Garfield Show I
mean on Netflix is good. But I'm telling you if
you need something to watch, Pluribus. I've never seen a
more wild show. Let's just say there's an alien extraterrest.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
You're a layer to it.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Caud you know which I know you love, and uh,
let's just say the whole world is sort of captivated
by something except a select few. It's a very cool,
like world ending sci fi type of show that I
honestly I just watched one episode.

Speaker 5 (10:52):
I'm like, what nice?

Speaker 4 (10:54):
So plurbus Apple TV. If you don't like this, then
I don't know you for twenty years.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Well hook me up with a password and I'll let
you know.

Speaker 8 (11:02):
Vince Gilligan, the guy who created Breaking Bad and Better
Call Saul. He's behind this and it has rotten tomatoes.
Right now.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
I'm more into the zero percent that Kim Kardashian shows
getting Oh yeah, actually.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
You're good.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
It's called All's fair on HULO.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
I've heard it isn't the sentiment that it's so bad
you have to watch, dude.

Speaker 8 (11:21):
No, it's so bad that it's not even good. It's
not entertaining. It's bad, badat waste your time.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
But that's why it's interesting and that's why people are
tuning Inez.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
But no, I'll check you. I'll take your word for it, dude,
I'll check it out.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
I honestly watch watch episode one tonight and we'll chat
about it Tomark. But I have a rock party story
before we get to Last one Standing, And Kavino, I
do want your your take because this week, I know
we're already in football mode and baseball's in the rear view,
but this is the week where we find out.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
Are saying the baseball's in the rearview. But there's some gambling,
uh stories going on in baseball.

Speaker 4 (11:53):
But cy young MVPs all your baseball awards are being
given out this week, so I want to chat about
that in a little bit. So, well, we got some
baseball Last one Standing, but I'm in Texas Worst Fest
beer and Sausage Festival the hometown of cliff Kingsbury, my
wife's hometown. And by the way, if anyone's there tonight,
say hi to me.

Speaker 5 (12:13):
Make me a look cool in front of my wife
and family.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
That's impossible, but go ahead.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
I go to my favorite little coffee shop. I'll give
it a shout out. Two Rivers Coffee. They have a drink,
daner g.

Speaker 5 (12:25):
It's so good. It's like an iced vanilla coffee drink.

Speaker 4 (12:29):
But it's called the Dude, like a playoff of I
guess what is it?

Speaker 5 (12:33):
A don't tell him, big oldbask the Dude of mines.
I love how you say, don't.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
Tell him, don't tell them like you're like, oh, wait
to stump me on my own national radio show.

Speaker 5 (12:44):
You had done so oh.

Speaker 7 (12:45):
Covino definitely would not say this to the barista when
he ordered. Point to it.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
Could I please get one iced dude? You have to
order it ice dude, extra thick. I'll have the Jeff
Bridges one. Please that one?

Speaker 7 (13:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Thanks?

Speaker 7 (13:01):
Can you make an extra creamy.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
So I get my I have a creamy Please, I get
my ice dude, which is a fantastic coffee. So shout
out to this coffee shop. But here's where they lose me.
This young dude that's working at the coffee shop. I
wish I would have took a picture. I almost feel
like going back there and creepily taking a photo. This
guy looked like he could be Brock Purdy's twin, like,

(13:26):
you know, like handsome but sort of a goober. Does
that make sense? Baby faced baby, baby face face? Oh yeah,
so I go, you'll do it. How many people tell
you that you look like Brock Purdy? And he's like,
I'm sorry, rock Surdy. I go, no, no, brock Purdy.
He's like, say that against her. I go, how many

(13:49):
people tell you you look like Brock Purdy? He goes,
Brock Surdy, I've never heard of him. And I go
the quarterback of the forty nine ers party goes, oh, no,
I've never heard of him.

Speaker 5 (14:03):
Don't know.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
I don't watch this guy think I'm purty bro am.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
I crazy to think that a twenty five year old
kid working in a coffee shop, like maybe that is
the demo?

Speaker 5 (14:14):
No he should How do you listen?

Speaker 4 (14:16):
And especially if you look like a dead ringer for
this guy, you tell me there's a twenty some year
old guy out there that's never heard the name rock Party,
especially if he looks like him.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
Everybody's an idiot.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
You know.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
This goes back to the famous that we always use
the same examples, Danny, g Sam, everybody.

Speaker 5 (14:33):
You know.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
We used to interview all these Maxim hotties. And I
remember there was one time a girl came on our
show and she was like, Yeah, my name's Amanda Winfield
and I'm from Saint Louis. I'm like, Amanda Winfield, huh
any relation to Dave? And you think automatically that someone
in her life brought up Dave Windfield.

Speaker 5 (14:52):
I never heard of that guy. Your whole life did
whole life?

Speaker 4 (14:58):
Steam almost came out? Caveno's here, So picture this is
Covino and I were working. We were working with a
lot of men's brand, So Covino's right, it was it
was happened all the time. He worked with Maxim and
she was a Maxim hometown hottie. She was a super
hot like she was a super hot black chick. And
you might be like, oh, maybe that's her uncle. What
is that Red Rebecca Winfield? How on earth if your

(15:19):
last name's Winfield, have you.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Never in your life, heard no one and then there
was one. There was one time though, one time, and
Richard remembers the story we had Julianne Huff from Dancing
with the Stars on our show Julianne Huff and I
jokingly said, any relation to Charlie Huff and would you believe?
She's like, yeah, he's a distant uncle. And I'm like,
no way, no way. The one time was the one time.

(15:44):
But you'd be surprised. How freaking dumb this guy doesn't
know brock party again? Do we know everything about everything?

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Absolutely not. That's the front of the show.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
He made he made a hell of a vanilla dude coffee.
But I can't imagine, like it just I don't know.
I'm not trying to be judgmental, but don't you feel
like that's the type of guy you would never be
friends with?

Speaker 1 (16:05):
Absolutely? And rich pretty awesome story, brother, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
Just to me, it's like, I don't know, it would
be like if a guy had a big long beard
and you're like yo zz top or something and I'm.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
Sorry, Hill, I'm sorry, I never heard of it.

Speaker 5 (16:20):
I've never heard.

Speaker 8 (16:22):
Zz top. Is that like you're sleeping thing? Like the
easy Yeah, sleep Sleep.

Speaker 4 (16:27):
You got a big Imagine you're a big black dude
with a gap in your teeth, and it's like, oh,
I got a straight hand.

Speaker 9 (16:31):
I'm sorry, I never heard of straight hand, Like I've
never heard you never heard that. You never heard that
you're wearing a Giants jersey and you have a gap
in your teeth. No one's ever said you big straight hand?

Speaker 3 (16:42):
Never, not once. So anyway, good story, Rich. It happens
all the time. I don't know why people stink. That's
really what it comes down to.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
So I have a question when you're meeting other parents
at the school or you know, in your neighborhood.

Speaker 5 (16:54):
I just wanted to bring up the topic real quick.

Speaker 4 (16:56):
Of indicators that I probably won't be friends with, one
of them is if you don't know like a pretty
common sports name. When someone goes, oh, I don't listen
to any new music. That's another one where I'm like,
really you don't, I mean.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
Don't love it says I don't watch TV, or I
don't I don't own a TV, Like you're a weird person.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
If someone says, yeah, we don't, we don't own a TV,
Cavino's right, it's you tell me that you don't have
a TV.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
I'm not saying your life is supposed to revolve around that.
That's not my point at all. But if you say,
like you bring up something like oh, I don't watch TV,
and like come here and let me kick you in
the face.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
Like if I just said there's a new show you
got to check out, You're like, oh, I would, but
I don't own a too, right.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Just that that statement says a lot to.

Speaker 4 (17:40):
Me trying to think of if there's any other I
remember I had a buddy Nicole and still do or
a good pal McColl.

Speaker 5 (17:48):
She's a bit of a party girl.

Speaker 4 (17:50):
But I remember in our single day saying that like
if she met a guy that was like she met
a guy that I think ordered like a glass of
milk at a restaurant for dinner and she's like, I'm
sorry what Like he's.

Speaker 5 (18:02):
Like Jim Harba, He's like, I don't, uh, I don't.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
I don't drink alcohol and he wanted like a glass
of milk with his dinner and she's like, yeah, this
isn't gonna work.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
That's that's the weakest.

Speaker 7 (18:12):
Then he hit his PE's in a napkin.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
Let me know you know some people don't like sports.
That's a great indicator for some people, like, Oh, maybe
we're not on the same page. But in Texas, I'm
not saying I'm not saying they're not good people, but Dan,
you know I was, Sam, Thanks for bringing up that, rub.

Speaker 4 (18:29):
I'm in Texas where they breathe, live and do everything
for football.

Speaker 5 (18:36):
Right.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
You thought you were gonna, you know, hit him with
a slam dunk.

Speaker 8 (18:38):
This dude has to have his head in the sand. Yeah,
to not know who brock perty is in Texas.

Speaker 7 (18:44):
In Texas, rich, you have to be as excited as
Gus Johnson from Fox. I wanted to play this for
you guys for a second, all right, all right, so
let me set it up really quick. So Indiana had
to come back on Saturday to beat Penn State to
stay undefeated.

Speaker 5 (18:58):
Oh that's the best call ever. I love this.

Speaker 7 (19:00):
Omar Cooper junior insane toe tap in the back of
the end zone and of course he's been hopeful. Fernando
Mendoza at quarterback and Gus Johnson loses his mind.

Speaker 10 (19:10):
Mendoza, get it, juve it out.

Speaker 6 (19:26):
He to on the field is upheld touchdown job.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
Lingable touchdown pass that was a sick toe tap and
that reaction is hilarious.

Speaker 10 (19:40):
You know where you are.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
You're in the jungle, baby, and you're gonna die, you
know its sound.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
The coolest part about that is the call combined with
people are given that ref tons of props because he
didn't get the way yet his eye was.

Speaker 5 (19:54):
On the foot like that. That was some a plus referee.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
That was great. It was a great moment.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
I didn't hear that call though, and I didn't hear
I keep seeing the headline of Romo saying that all
patriots were DTF.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
Did you will say that?

Speaker 5 (20:06):
Yeah, he goes, He goes, hey, uh, hey they're Jim.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
You know he's with Jim. Nance Yeah, hey, there, Jim.
I just got to tell you that, uh, those patriots
are DTF and and every it's like DTF. We all
watch a Jersey shore. His DTF is quote, hold on,
I got it here. His DTF is like, uh details
toughness and they know how to finish my DTF.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
So okay, so he did say it, but it's not
what he meant. Okay, got it, got it. So we'll
take the rest of your feedback at Coveno and Rich
at Fox Sports radio. We didn't even talk about Donald
Trump into broadcasting booth. Here's what I'll say about that briefly.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
Wait, Robo said that coming out that he put on
Jamison jameson Williams sex.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
At Oh there he goes. I bet you that hat
is hard to find right now. I bet you people
are buying it off the shelves. But in Trump's the
it was ridiculous. I was watching red Zone in fact,
and all of a sudden, my girlfriend's like, is he
on red Zone? I'm like, no, he's at the game.
The commanders at the Lions game, and they went to
it and he had to call a touchdown play and

(21:13):
it's not easy. It was the most ridiculous thing I've
ever seen, never heard, but rich and I know from
experience it's not the easiest thing to do.

Speaker 5 (21:21):
It really isn't This is a big play coming out.

Speaker 3 (21:24):
Yeah, it was so awkward, you know, and then you
see him doing the dances and everything. It was kind
of wild to see him in the booth.

Speaker 7 (21:32):
A tremendous young man.

Speaker 4 (21:34):
And did you see Amara Saint Brown patrip point He
pointed up and did the you know, the dance and everything.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
Kind of cool to see you know, whether you are
into him or not, it was interesting to see you
can't not point it out. And these are some of
the things that made us go home. And again with
the MLB gambling stories that are coming out, that also
made you say, MLB probably wants none of this to

went to a Dick Sporting Good yesterday here in New
bronfols in between San Antonio and Austin and Danny g
they are that whole place is Wemby and now Fox.
They got all the new Spur stuff and let me
tell you, the locals here are really pumped about this team,
and they very well should be. And a lot of
the throwback Spur stuff is popping. You're seeing a lot

(32:18):
of people, you know that what do they call it?
Is that the uh this is a name for it,
but that you know, the Spurs logo coudn know with
like the pink and the orange and the yellow, like
that old school Spurs logo.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
Yeah, I don't know the name of it though.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
There's a name for that particular throwback, but that's everywhere.
So the Spurs are like much like the Patriots, their
turnaround to greatness seems like it didn't last very long.
Like they they didn't suck for that long, right, Just
a lot of cool Spur stuff I'm seeing.

Speaker 5 (32:40):
All right, let's go to DV for an update. Dan Byer,
what's up man?

Speaker 7 (32:43):
Fiesta throwbacks?

Speaker 11 (32:44):
Is that?

Speaker 7 (32:46):
I back it out? But that's what That's what the
old internet said.

But yeah, they love it, dB.

Speaker 4 (32:51):
There's so much Fiesta gear at the sporting good stores
even at Target, like it's it's They're they're really pumping
it up.

Speaker 6 (32:56):
I know they want a new arena as well, and
that's uh, people are freaking out, like, man, now we
got Victor women Yama and could the team move if
we don't get this arena? A lot of scuttle bit
about that, but yeah, the Spurs are a hot team
for sure. Let's get to some NFL news before we
wrap it up with some hoops news from tonight. Giants
fired heat coach Brian Dabole following the loss on Sunday

(33:18):
to the Bears. Table finished his time in New York
with a twenty and forty and one regular season record

the interim head coach. Ownership says that GM Joe Shane
will remain on and lead the search for a new

(33:40):
Week eleven, but the team did open the twenty one
day practice window for Burrow to return from his toe injury.
Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton revealed that he underwent surgery on
Friday after being diagnosed with testicular cancer. This is interesting
because Singleton says that he had a random drug test
from the NFL. There were elevated levels in his system

(34:01):
and he said, I know, I didn't do anything, went
and got checked out. Sure enough, a cancerous tumor was found.
Played Thursday night against the Raiders, had surgery the next day.
He hopes to return this season. Says the doctors have
given him and his family a great prognosis. But Alex
Singleton of the Broncos revealing that today Lee Raiders lost
Jackson Powers Johnson in that game against Denver placed on

(34:24):
injured reserve today. Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson's going to
miss three to four weeks with a spray knee, Bills
down and Dalton King kada Is week to week with
a strained hamstring. Commander's defensive lineman to Ron Payne suspended
for one game by the NFL for punching wide receiver.
I'm on Russaint Brown of the Lions. Pain is appealing
that ban Lakers guard Austin Reeves probable to play in

(34:44):
tonight's game in Charlotte, Houston. The new number one team
of the AP Top twenty five men's college hoops pole
passing Perdue, who is second guys, back to.

Speaker 3 (34:53):
You, Thank you Dan, Dan, the grand Champion of the day.
So tough to beat the Great Dan. Byer Coffino and
Rich on Fox Sports Radio. Now, Rich, I definitely want
your take on Monday Night Football, which is the gambling
fool of the show.

Speaker 5 (35:06):
Hey, do you like a snow game?

Speaker 4 (35:07):
Because it looks like it's it looks like Lambeau is
up is papu, It's some some flurry. So we'll talk
a little Monday Night Football. Bok Cavino, our buddy Rob
who listens in San Antonio. I think he's going to
meet up with me for a beer tonight at a
at Worst fest. He said when we talk football, the
number one underrated guy this year now some may be
giving him credit. What do you think Matthew Stafford's touchdown

(35:30):
to interception ratio? Is Matthew Stafford on the Rams? Who
looked really good?

Speaker 3 (35:34):
I mean it must be really good if you're bringing
this up, So get it to.

Speaker 4 (35:38):
Me at this Timmy no breaks, all games, no breaks,
twenty five tudies, two interceptions.

Speaker 1 (35:45):
Wow, Yeah, that's it. That's man looking solid.

Speaker 5 (35:48):
Like. But I'm saying the Rams have a good record.

Speaker 4 (35:50):
They're like, like, why, like, are we just so used
to Stafford just delivering at that level?

Speaker 3 (35:55):
It's probably it we take it for granted. Yeah, and
he's got some good targets.

Speaker 4 (35:59):
Let me leave you trivia question. I'll tell you the
answer on the flip of it. I'm in New Brownfles, Texas.
What five time All Star bet at two ninety three,
three hundred and sixty six career home runs went to
my wife's high school in New Bronfles, Texas. Three sixty
six home runs, five time All Star bet at two

(36:21):
ninety three, And I'll give you this hint he played
for a Texas team.

Speaker 5 (36:26):
I'll give you the answer next right here. Covino and rich.

Speaker 3 (36:32):
Who Well, she was just that just sounds like to me.
Cavino and Rich Line from the Fox Sports Radio studio.

Speaker 5 (36:55):
Now?

Speaker 1 (36:55):
You're playing right now? Uh Dan used the in his
update he used the term skull.

Speaker 8 (37:00):
But I believe and since Rich is in Texas, I
wanted to play scuttle Button by Stevie ray Vaughn, Texas
native Stevie Rayvaughn the Wizard on the guitar with scuttle Button.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
That's like multiple tie in. That's like dual tie in. There,
great job, letna be thank you.

Speaker 4 (37:17):
Let me scuttle Button my way over to worst Fest,
which is a beer and sausage festival. And like I said,
if you're in the New Brothels San Antonio, Austin area
and you happen to if you think you see me,
come say hi.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
Aren't you running for uh Grand Marshall of Theueni Praade.

Speaker 5 (37:33):
Yeah, I'm running for Grand Wieniat.

Speaker 3 (37:36):
Grand Wienie go support Rich at the Worst Fest. You
pose the trivia question. Yeah, I'm that's the answer. Yeah,
give us this all right.

Speaker 4 (37:45):
This is a baseball player, okay, that graduated in your year.
Cavino went to high school ten years before my wife,
and he graduated in ninety four Kenyon High School in
New Bromfles, Texas. Three hundred and sixty six career home runs,
two ninety three career batting average, six time All Star.
I'll give you one more hint, nickname the Big Puma.

(38:09):
The answer, Lance Berkman.

Speaker 5 (38:11):
Ah, dude, you didn't even give a chance. What dude, Danny.

Speaker 7 (38:16):
G had everybody who's my witness in this studio.

Speaker 5 (38:18):
Okay, I gave you. I gave you a beat and
I heard silence.

Speaker 7 (38:22):
I didn't know you were going to blurt out the answer.

Speaker 1 (38:24):
Yeah, he was like. I was like waiting to jump in.
I saw it.

Speaker 3 (38:27):
Yeah, you know, I really loved Danny G's answer, and
I was trying to think of something. I was like,
there's no way Pud Rodriguez is from New Bromfels, Texas.
You know, I'm like Josh Hamilton, Yeah, because his numbers
weren't that hot.

Speaker 7 (38:39):
Off the air, we were thinking about guys who either
played for the Astros or the Rangers, and I told Kovino,
I'm like, how about a dude like Berkman. I don't
know where he's from, but nailed it. Yeah, I knew
he hit the three hundred some odd home runs.

Speaker 4 (38:53):
Yeah, yeah, so six time All Star, three hundred and
sixty six home runs two ninety three, the big Puma
from New Brown, Texas.

Speaker 7 (39:00):
Did they also call him fat Elvis?

Speaker 1 (39:02):
Yes, Elvis.

Speaker 5 (39:03):
He had a few.

Speaker 3 (39:05):
Yeah, and he had a couple of coffee as a
Yankee if you guys remember coffee.

Speaker 5 (39:09):
Cool.

Speaker 3 (39:09):
But yeah, he's definitely a famous Texan, famous Astro. Lance Berkman,
So Cavino and Rich we're out here in La Riches,
in Texas, and dude, you know what, We're gonna have
to save the burner account stories for tomorrow. Burner account
stories for tomorrow. But as we get ready for Monday
Night Foosball, anyone else find it weird that Tomlin sort
of threw Rogers under the bus.

Speaker 4 (39:31):
Then you think that was a weird. They're like Rockers, though,
did say I need to play a hell of a
lot better.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
Yeah, that was but it was a weird reaction, would
you think, like insinuating, Yeah, he played like ass I
felt weird about that. So anyway, he didn't get a
chance to really dive into that in things that make
you go hmmm, but he did play like as he
looked like cheeks yesterday. Now tonight you're six and two
Eagles at your five two and one Packers, as a

(39:57):
lot of people are saying, I heard Colin saying, is
too like Packers are trying to find out who they
are still at this point of the season. How do
you see, uh, how do you see us wrapping up
Week ten?

Speaker 5 (40:07):
Rich?

Speaker 4 (40:08):
I mean they are so evenly matched. I mean Vegas
sort of has This is like a pretty even matchup.
I'm gonna go because the Packers at home. My wife's
a Packerson, I'm in our hometown. We're probably gonna go
watch the game while we drink some brew hahas and
have some sausage at Worsfest.

Speaker 5 (40:29):
Yeah, you know what I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go.

Speaker 4 (40:30):
Packers just close game field goal maybe maybe maybe six.
I feel like tonight's to night where we realize, oh yeah,
the Packers in the mix because we talked about the
powerhouses of the NFC, the Eagles, the Lions. We talked
about it, We talked about the Rams cove how the
Rams and Matthew Stafford are. You know, we're sort of
overlooking them. But I think let's let's put the Packers

(40:53):
in that conversation. I think tonight's a statement game. I
think if the Eagles went on the road in Green Bay,
then then all of a sudden, people are gonna be
like map, the Eagles may repeat. So Tonight's a game
that I think the Packers also for playoff positioning. If
you want the road to the super Bowl to go
through Green Bay, you gotta win tonight.

Speaker 3 (41:09):
All right, we'll talk about it tomorrow. Plus Shack Diesel trivia.
Thank you, guys for hanging out with us, Covino and Rich.

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
