Speaker 1 (00:00):
You are listening to the Dan Patrick Show on Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Yoh, here we go another COVENO on Rich and for DP.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Show three of the hat Trick.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Good morning, we're the West side. Holiday weekend begins. What
out Brench? Good morning, Speaking.

Speaker 4 (00:21):
Of hat tricks, I'm sort of disappointed to start the show.
Here we are day three of the hat trick, and
my Fox Sports Radio headset won't allow me to wear
my ten gallon Texas hat.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
I wear down to the river. Ten gallon. That's a
forty gallon hat.

Speaker 5 (00:36):
Brot that noggin there, he is the noggin boss of
Fox Sports Radio, Rich Davis live from Texas the rest
of us. What a great team man, the best team,
the best sports lineup in the nation Fox Sports Radio.
We got dneg super producing on the phones at eight seven,
seven ninety nine on Fox Iowa. Sam our sound architect
on the Glockenspiel.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
He's on the buttons.

Speaker 5 (00:58):
And of course WE'REO and Rich in for Dan Patrick
and super pumped to be here because we're giving away prizes.
We got Brainwave, we got something called weekend Hobnobbing where
we get you ready for the holiday weekend. And of
course we have a very special guest, one of the
goats stopping by it today.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
Ry Yeah, not Tom Brady, not Lebron James, not Michael Jordan,
not Michael Phelps, not Catley Clark.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
We have Joey Chestnut.

Speaker 5 (01:28):
Joey Chestnut will be here to talk about all the
fourth of July weekend festivities.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Who is the Michael Jordan of his sport? Yes he is.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
Yes, he is going for title number eighteen, which is
more impressive than any one of those athletes I just mentioned.
So Joey chest not going for title eighteen. And I
don't know if there's anything in life equal parts disgusting
and impressive than eating seventy hot dogs in ten minutes.

Speaker 5 (01:56):
Probably the aftermath i'd say, well, okay, maybe that. Yeah,
So we'll talk to him about all that and more.
But I hope you had a great, great night. What
a day World Cup action. There's so much going on
here's just wild.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Okay. My first instinct.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
As we are the I guess first responders of Fox
Sports Radio, all these thoughts are still processing.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
We're the first to deliver.

Speaker 5 (02:19):
That's the beauty of filling in for Dan Patrick here
because normally we're on in the afternoon two to four
on the West, five to seven on the East. Everything
at Covin on Rich FSR. In fact, we're streaming live
right now on YouTube if you want to chat it
up and get the day going. It's a glorious, glorious Friday,
July third, at coven On Rich FSR. You got the

(02:39):
World Cup, you got the world coming together, you got
people chanting in the streets.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
You got baseball heating up.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
My Yankees are stinking like Abe Lincoln as we celebrate
the fore fathers of this country.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Stinking like Abe Lincoln.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
They might stick even worse, like I'm talking like one
hundred years before that, like maybe like John Adams after
like yeah, a big congressional meeting or something.

Speaker 5 (03:02):
Yeah, they for real, like Ben Franklin, dude. So they're
really stinking right now. And you got so much going
on yet Lebron James is still one of the biggest
stories in sports.

Speaker 6 (03:14):
Man.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
It's crazy because you wake up today. Well, first off, Rich,
I woke up this morning, got some Goba goal and
I figured out, you know what am I gonna wearing.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
This casual Friday?

Speaker 5 (03:26):
So I do a lot my Yankee hat and ran
over here no traffic. That's the other beauty of getting
it on the West Side at this time. But dude,
it's like it's like a four prong thought about Lebron James.
Oh yep, and it all goes down to this. All right,
I'm gonna tell you where this is going to go

(03:46):
before we even start. Everyone now, you know how everyone
has a podcast. That's just the world we live in,
and everyone thinks their opinion matters. That's also the world
we live in.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
You know how I knew everyone had a podcast the
minute that clip went viral a few months back.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
With that one girl is.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
Like, job your love. Don't just love your job, job
your love.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
And the other person's like, yo, yeah, oh yeah, he
loved it like he was gonna write it down say
that again.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
That was the moment what I'm like, I've always said,
chop your love.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
The minute that podcast clip went viral, my thought was,
it's we have jumped the shark. Everyone does not need
a podcast. It's official not everyone needs one. And if
you're like, well, who are you, Jabroni's look it up.
We've been doing this a long time.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
When it comes to Lebron James, the first thing is Warriors, Cleveland, Miami.
We were speculating the Spurs because we thought, hey, the
Spurs could use the wisdom, he could use the Spurs.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
This is perfect.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Now that's a developing story, right, So then they added
Tobias Harris.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
So a lot of people are like.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
Okay, so whatever start Danny ge'z like, man, I wonder
where my guy's gonna go. He's moving he announces, yo,
I'm out. He secures Bronni's contract, but he's like, I'm
moving forward. And then we find out he's willing to
take the league minimum, and then I start thinking, well,
if he was willing to take the league minimum three

(05:20):
point eight three point nine million, whatever it is, why
didn't he just stay with the Lakers and his son
and try to run it back and use that money
to get the pieces that they could use it?

Speaker 7 (05:29):
Because he was the one saying boo hoos the Lakers
wouldn't give him a max contract.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
So yeah, so you start thinking, well, there's something fishy
there that doesn't add up, and want to start to me,
you start speculating there, how does that add up?

Speaker 3 (05:41):
It adds to me.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
He's looking for happiness. Could they have kissed his ass? Anymore, dude.
As much as that, like le.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
Bron, there was this new management, there was the there
was discrepancies.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Year one more.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Year, he has one more year, one more year, he
has one more year, but that one more year, he
wants to just do it his way. And the reality
is it was never about the money. It was about
the respect. And I think the Lakers didn't the Lakers
didn't respect them. You know, Lebron James doesn't need your money.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
I gain and I think now he feels like I
can put hold on you. And Danny are saying different
things though. Daniel and he goes to the Lakers.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
He goes to the Lakers, he feels like he sort
of overlooked and not loved the right way. He goes
somewhere else. It's not about the money. He just wants
to feel like the savior for someone. And that narrative
is not in Los Angeles anymore.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
Okay, So then you know you got all these stories,
all this speculation. Then you're here in seventy six ers.
How about the Nuggets. Nuggets are calling man Nuggets, that'd
be a fit Nuggets Nuggies, And then you wake up
today and what was the obvious was no longer now
becomes part of the conversation again, what do I mean

(06:50):
by that? Now they're saying the buzzes out there about
the New York Knicks. You like the New York Nicks.
And there's stories to back this up too. You're like,
they don't need him, as my mom would say, Rich,
they need him like I need a hole in the head.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Right, it's a big mom saying. Right, Moms, that's a
boomer top ten freight.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
Can I give you a real quick synopsis of what
my parents would say about this?

Speaker 4 (07:15):
They need Lebron James like I need a hole in
the head, Steven, that sounds kind of dark.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Now, what mom say?

Speaker 5 (07:20):
No, my dad would after that, Hey, that's heavy dooty,
Lebron James through the knacks, heavy dooty.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
These are these are great mom sayings.

Speaker 5 (07:30):
And get this Rich Now this starts to unfurl and
unfold as of this morning, and again I'm still processing
this myself. I start seeing these clips everywhere of Rich
Paul talking to r pal Max Killerman like Mexican.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
I've I've loved Max Killerman for.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
Years as a as a broadcaster, in analyst.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
That's because you're an eighty year old boxing. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (07:55):
Yeah, because I used to come up when he was
the young boxing guy.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
Yeah, that's why identifies as an eighty year old white
guy even though he's a forty year old Latino guy.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (08:04):
He likes boxing and baseball. I'm cool with that. Yes,
that's true.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
All right.

Speaker 5 (08:10):
So you got Rich Paul and Kellerman chopping it up,
and Rich Paul says what we all thought, right, the
energ that he would have been a Nick this year.
I would have Yeah, would have been a Nick this year.
There's so much to think about though, would have been
a Nick this year hadn't they won? He would have
been a Nick this year hadn't they won. So what

(08:30):
does that mean? Does that mean that, like, since they won,
it seems like they don't need him, So he wants
to go to a place where he could be the hero?

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Is that really just the truth of it all? Like
the hero? Though.

Speaker 5 (08:43):
It's one thing to want to, you know, leave on
a high note and make a run for it, but
it's like, no, I want to go for a place
where I think I'm.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
The piece that they need. I'm the answer here.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
You don't want to go to a place after they
win and then be the reason why they take off
a step back.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
You go to the place where they are this close.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
Like, I'll give you the analogy if you're an NFL fan,
I'm a Niners guy. What did Mike Evans say in
the offseason? Why did Mike Evans sign with the Niners
and have all that excitement because he, deep down inside
is like, I'm the piece brock Perty just needs a
wide receiver, one like me to get him over the hump.
You want to be the piece of the pie they're missing.

(09:24):
You don't want to You don't want to go there
and be like, oh, they took a step.

Speaker 5 (09:27):
But the obvious is is a double edged sword, right,
It's like a damned if you do and if you
don't sort of situation.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Because if he were to go there and.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
He won again, oh man, Chip Chason pad in his
stance just trying to be in that Jordan conversation.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Even harder, you know, Ah, Man, he went.

Speaker 5 (09:47):
With an already winning team, like Rich said, and if
he did go and they didn't win, then it's all
his fall, right, So that's not like, man, that's not
a great.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
Kevin durankot Covi.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
You know, when he went to the Warriors fresh off
a championship, but what could happen? He got to win
his right exactly, So Durant, Kevin Durant always fell short.
So then Evian Durant said, let me go to Golden State.
And everyone said, oh, he's chasing ships.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Yeah, he's criticized for it.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
But guess what.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
It works, though, work.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
But there's no guarantee. Yeah, in retrospect they're like, oh, yeah,
but it worked, right, it would be a major risk
because if it didn't work, it's all Lebron's fall. Now,
Rich Paul asked, or told Kellerman. Kellerman asked, have the
Knicks checked in? And Rich Paul's like, yeah, so they're talking. Okay,

(10:42):
So they are communicating, according to Rich Paul, and according
to this clip I.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Saw, unless it's Danny Jean, let's this is all AI.
So I need to breakfast this.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
And then here's what drives me crazy, and I get
it because Rich Paul then says, you know, you got
to show oh Brunson some respect. He says, it's the
Brunson show. You gotta respect that we understand, and everybody
listening understands, like this is Brunson's team, dude. But he
says that Brunson needs to call Lebron, and I'm like, get.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Out of my face.

Speaker 5 (11:20):
This is no disrespect to Lebron at all. We're fans,
let's make that clear. But I think if you're the
guy and it's your show, Lebron needs to be calling Brunson.
That's how I see it. But they're still like tossing
this and dangling his carrot rich And my favorite thought
about all this drama as the Lebron stuff on furrols
and continues to be the saga of the summer right now,

(11:42):
even though the World Cup is popping and everything else
is going on, is that everybody has turned into you
know how, everybody's a podcaster and everybody's an expert. Everybody
now has put on their John Stoscil mustache and everyone
thinks they are sports investing gators.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
That's the truth. And also WNBA experts.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
All right, everyone's taking everyone's taking the lead of Pablo Tory.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Everybody's going to uncover the next big story.

Speaker 5 (12:11):
Yes, dude, it's even gotten me like trying to figure
out pieces of the puzzle and I'm like, hey man,
Mitchell Robinson says, wait until you hear the truth. Did
you hear that him and Adaobi were chatting online and
they were talking about missing each other. They're like damn man,
and he's like, yeah, man, you know I tried everything
to stay in New York.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Wait until you hear the truth. You're like, well, what's
the truth is that? Oh?

Speaker 5 (12:34):
Is that like a hint about Lebron? Like is there
more pieces to this puzzle? Like they don't need Lebron.
Let's be real about this. However, you know that it
would be the hottest ticket in town, but the Knicks
don't need it Lebron.

Speaker 7 (12:45):
It feels like too much of an anti climactic move
for Lebron. That's like showing up to a party and
all the confetti's on the floor and everybody's gone home.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Dude, It's crazy.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
Twenty four years in the league, Lebron James is still
the hottest chick in the room. Every team is involved
in this conversation.

Speaker 7 (13:03):
Paul, by the way, also said that twelve teams have
called him about Lebron.

Speaker 5 (13:07):
Check that out, not just any twelve teams, you know,
Like we're talking high profile contenders. So it's a matter
of uh, it's sort of like Lebron. They're saying it's
in Bronson's court, but it feels like it's in Lebron's
court when it comes to New York or any of
the other thing.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
Is the New York things interesting to me? Covino, because
you got to ask most Knick fans. You know, we
know a lot of Knicks fans because we're from New York. Yeah,
most Knicks fans.

Speaker 5 (13:35):
They don't want to dude, that's my gut feeling. Dat feeling.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
My gut feeling is that, dude, get the fatty, give
me a break, and we're good right now.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Get out of my face.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
Yeah, they love Lebron.

Speaker 4 (13:45):
They love og, they love the tipping, they love the
they love the coach Mike Brown. They love everything this
team is doing. I feel like a lot of Knicks
fans would be like if that Lebron get deaty. However,
if you ask the team, the guys on the court
that are actually playing the game, Hey, how would you
feel about adding Lebron James to this mix? How do

(14:08):
you know that whole roster wouldn't be like, of course
it's Lebron James.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Bring them in.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
Like, you got to think of that perspective, not the
fan perspective. Could we know the player perspective? The Knicks
might be like, Yo, we just won one. Guess how
we have the best chance of winning two. I don't
know Lebron James being part of this?

Speaker 5 (14:25):
Yeah, does this keep the Knicks in a championship mode?
Does it keep them back in the finals? Does it
start the dynasty? I guess of their run? You can
continuate you can't stay with a straight face or does
it really bring the circus to town and make things
worse You can't stay with a straight face or any

(14:48):
face for that matter, that the Knicks are worse off
by adding Lebron James.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
It's like adding Lebron James.

Speaker 5 (14:56):
You don't know that What made the Knick special is team,
even though it's Brunson's team. What made him awesome is
you know, he's that working class sort of blue.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
Collar leader, bron and selfish and all that.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
I think that's old news, but.

Speaker 5 (15:12):
It becomes all about Lebron James when that's not what
the Knicks are about at all. That was very much
a team effort, and we all know who the leader
of the team was. It just wasn't rubbed in our face.
We could just see it with our own eyes, you know.
It's it's Jalen Brunson's team. So today, as of today,
what we already knew but we thought was like a

(15:34):
done story because they won, it was confirmed that that's
where he would have been in New York. And I
think that's also like patting maybe the possibility, Like, hey,
just so you guys know, we would have done that anyway, right,
Like they're making that a fact, the known fact, so
that if it happens that the world knows that, hey,
we're not doing it just because they won. We were

(15:54):
going to do that before they won. I think putting
that information out there also sets that up for the possibility.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
All right, Well, listen, there's also, as Colin Cowherd stars
said yesterday here on Fox Sports Radio Star The seventy
six Ers Now with Jalen Bronson, how about Kevin, how
about an hour and a half down the Jersey Turnpike'd
I say, Jalen Brunson, Jalen Brown, Jalen Brown.

Speaker 5 (16:21):
Now in Philadelphia, go an hour and a half down
thanks to Jalen Rose. There's just so many Jalens against confuser. Yeah,
do people realize that's a fun fact. I'm not trying
to backpedal my misstep, but I will. I said Jalen
Brunson instead of Brown Cavino. I'll give you credit. I
never saw that little clip where Jalen was not a name.

(16:41):
Do people know that?

Speaker 2 (16:43):
Yeah? It's all over social media, yes, every here. That's
like Jalen's song on Twitter. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
Do you think every you think every single dude listening
and woman know that Jalen wasn't.

Speaker 7 (16:53):
A name, of course, and every single person follows us
on our socials.

Speaker 5 (16:58):
Yeah, yeah everybody. No, not everybody, of course, there's some
bonehead that doesn't know it.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
And if you don't, the show's at Covino and Rich.

Speaker 5 (17:05):
Yeah, at Coviino and Rich, at Danny G Radio, at
Steve Covino, at Rich Davis, everything, at Fox PI.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Irish Sam ninety nine.

Speaker 7 (17:13):
Yeah, stand at Spots Center running our video YouTube at
Covino and Rich FSR.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
I'm so happy that every one of our listeners is
is the genius Lanni Papo, Jalen.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
Didn't you read my notes? Everyone is a sports investigator.
That's the whole point of this conversation.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
Until Jalen rose the name Jalen didn't exist same like
until the movie Splashed with Tom Hanks in the eighties,
there was no woman named Madison, which is wild too.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
So yeah that dropping.

Speaker 7 (17:40):
Let me you were talking rich about Colin yesterday and yeah,
he was the first one I heard bring up the
Sixers Jalen Brown there now, of course from the Celtics.
Celtics fans still hot and mad over that whole situation.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
That poor little kid, that's Cray.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Oh man, that was horrible. Speaking of things online, and
by the way, Danny g you know what everybody's doing.
I'm not even joking.

Speaker 5 (17:59):
This is how the business works, right, everyone, especially like
podcasters with no listeners. They're just going to the camera
through the microphone. They're like, I'm telling you, I'm pretty adamant.
In fact, I know from inside sources, he's gonna be
a nugget.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
I tell you he's gonna be a nugget.

Speaker 5 (18:15):
All right, cut And they're like, all right, save that
in case, save that in case, just so they can
use that when it happens to go viral.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
Like I told you, let's look back and they'll show
the date.

Speaker 5 (18:25):
And everyone's trying to everyone's trying to connect the dots
like Tyree SATs Pee Wee Herman dude, Tyree smatsy up
up and coming superstar in the NBA on the sixers.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
Of course, now he is cool. He's homies with Lebron.

Speaker 7 (18:39):
They are both repped by Clutch, So Lebron is definitely
going to go to the seventy six ers. And you guys,
I was thinking on my drive in, he'll go up
to the Rocky Stairs on the fourth of July tomorrow,
Lebron and make his announcement they like the founding fathers
of our glorious country. On the two hundred and fiftieth birthday,
He's going to become a Philadelphia seventy six er.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
Of slow motion video released tomorrow on the fourth of
the Remember.

Speaker 5 (19:07):
To clip that in case it happens so it makes
us look cool. That's the world we live in, right
because everybody's a sports investigator. But now that Rich Paul
has come out and said all this, like I said,
I feel like he's patting the possibility. You know, he
would have done it anyway, So now thinking I did it,
in my mind, I was like, he's either going to

(19:28):
be a warrior if they can make that happen Miami
San Antonio sounds cool, but I don't know. Like, I
think the Knicks is a strong possibility because they are
most likely if he wants to go out on a
high note, they're most likely to still be there, and
with Lebron, like Richardy said, have a greater chance of

(19:52):
making it happen.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
Again, I'm surprised you guys think there's a good chance
of that. I think it's and I don't.

Speaker 5 (20:00):
I don't think they obviously don't need them, but I
think it's a possibility.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
I'll tell you why.

Speaker 4 (20:05):
But Cavino, just to make sure we're on the right page,
do it right now, ready, I guarantee Lebron James is
going to the Nuggets, cut Warriors, Nicks, Sixers. I now
spot our video guy, have that on seven you can
cutting spot.

Speaker 5 (20:27):
Yeah, so so we can say I told you, Remember
when I told you here we were in for Dan Patrick.

Speaker 7 (20:32):
I remember, except when you set that sentence up, you
sounded like Rob Parker.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Everyone's going to identify you, dude.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
It's so wild, though, I really coo, he's a Warrior.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
He's going to the heat, Dude.

Speaker 5 (20:47):
I'm telling you, Nickabucker, this is the best drama and
soap opera that sports could ask for. But what's really
really funny and and I think the funniest part of
this conversation is not all the moving parts and the
piece is this that you have all these web slooths
in their modern day like scoops callahans really just trying
to figure it out, piecing things together based on what's

(21:10):
like by they're following the breadcrumbs. But everybody is a
sports investigator. It's dude, it's so funny to see me
how everyone's.

Speaker 4 (21:18):
An expert now on social media, there's so many women
that are true crime experts as a hobby and then
they take it too serious and they think they're like
they're gonna solve the Ohio, you know, you know that
unfortunate like Idaho college kids cover a lot of times.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
They do uncover things and get to the bottom of things.

Speaker 4 (21:36):
But what I'm saying is a lot of women dive
headfirst into they are now the new true crime experts. Yeah,
there's a lot of young men in the sports game
that are like, I'm the new investigator and I'm going
to get the inside scoop.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
And you know, sometimes it works. Our buddy George Sadanov
at espaj W.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
Remember he was the guy that got the scoop on
Lebron to Miami because he saw a moving truck in
his area in Miami.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
Yeah, yeah, I to Lebron James, Yeah, showed out to Georgia.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
You know, we had we had a scoop that we
just didn't break because we were sworn to secrecy. But
we had maybe a little hint that Lebron was coming
to LA because we knew someone through the airport that
like saw him.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
Like so yeah, we sometimes people can say.

Speaker 5 (22:15):
It now, Yeah, we were friends with the pilot that
drove them, that flew him.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
Yeah, yeah, just the truth.

Speaker 4 (22:20):
Yeah, true story. And he's like, I'm flying Lebron to
LA right now, like for real.

Speaker 7 (22:25):
Yeah, it's like how real estate it's like how real
estate agent agents sometimes will spill the beans.

Speaker 5 (22:31):
And so it was in town looking around and property
is their school systems? Right, that's another one. But everybody
you got to realize that was like someone's job, you know,
But now that's everyone like it's so watered down, it's hilarious.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
So, you know, we the people now.

Speaker 5 (22:47):
Over the United States, we don't want to believe because
there's this information everywhere.

Speaker 7 (22:52):
Wouldn't be rich if he just surprised everybody and went
to a team like the Sacramento Kings, that would be.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
Why but Daddy, that would be funny actually.

Speaker 4 (23:02):
But I have a theory that it's a if he's
gonna If he's gonna make a move and he's willing
to go East Coast, I think the Knicks does no
good for him.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
It's a cool, enticing thing.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
But the Knicks are coming off a high.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
It's like it would almost be like buying you know,
if you like the market like I do, or crypto,
you don't buy high.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
The Knicks are high as they've been in fifty some
of the years.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
It's like buying a stock, like right now, the nasdacs
at the highest of all time. Right you buying stocks
when everything's the highest. It's risky, Like, dude, it's high,
like nothing's. The Knicks are at their height, you only
have a chance to let them down. I think the
Sixers with Max A, Danny and Jalen Brown, the Sixers
are a thirsty fan base that whole trust the process

(23:45):
thing never worked out. They haven't been relevant in forty years.
Right as far as winning a title forty fifty years.
So isn't there a part of you that thinks, Wow, Sixers,
Lebron could be a hero in Philadelphia with those wild
rabbit fans.

Speaker 5 (24:02):
Still a chance you choose Philadelphia teams you have, you
have a I think greater chance.

Speaker 7 (24:07):
It could just come down to something as simple as, man,
I want to go have fun with Steph Curry.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
Yeah, it could come down to that too.

Speaker 5 (24:13):
After all, this a lot of that makes sense, not
just Curry, but it's good Bud Draymond Green. He could
be reunited if they're able, you know what, And now
I'm thinking about that. As cool as that story is,
even though I don't think it would work, it would
be cool story again, traveling circus of the Golden State Warriors,
Anthony Davis involved. There's a lot of moving pieces that

(24:33):
make it a difficult move.

Speaker 7 (24:34):
Don't you think the Wizards have made it difficult because
they are claiming they are not going to move Anthony.

Speaker 5 (24:40):
Yeah, So I feel like that idea is fizzling a
little more and some of these other ones are picking up,
and it really is interesting.

Speaker 1 (24:47):

Fox Sports Radio, and we all got our plans, we
all got our cookdowns, we all got our bank snaps. Ready,
we're all gonna be watching Nathan's hot dog eating contest.
It's just part of the tradition. It's part of the
ooze and ohs fourth and July weekend. And we don't

(25:47):
bring you the schlubs, we bring you the goats here
on Covino and Rich, especially when we're in for Dan Patrick.
So let's welcome a friend of the show. Seventeen times
champion going for title eighteen.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
A great Joey Chestnut.

Speaker 7 (26:01):
Everybody so Joey, Oh, I'm doing good, Joey jo Joe Joe,
what on buddy?

Speaker 6 (26:10):
Oh? Feeling good?

Speaker 2 (26:12):
I was gonna say, going for title number eighteen.

Speaker 4 (26:15):
Now I gotta ask your name now that this is
not you know, the early days of Joey Chestnut.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
You're the goat.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
We jokingly say the fort majors football, baseball, basketball, and
hot dog eating. And there's Joey Chestnut going for number eighteen.
When have you used I'm Joey Chestnut to get out
of something or to get in somewhere? Do you have
any funny stories where you've someone's recognized cool?

Speaker 6 (26:39):
If you ever use the word do you know who
I am? Don't use that line and trust me, ticket
or anything.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
If you're lying, if we see body can't foot in you.

Speaker 5 (26:50):
Yeah, no, really, I would imagine maybe how about to
throw a first pitch or something cool like that.

Speaker 6 (26:55):
I mean, yeah, they invite me, I don't tell.

Speaker 9 (26:58):
Them forby, I've had some good Oh my god, I've
been super lucky and by yeah, some awesome first pitches
and then backstage with see rock bands and uh, it's
been really it's been.

Speaker 6 (27:11):
I've had a really good time.

Speaker 5 (27:12):
Okay, so hold on, I got to be honest with you.
I love you, Joey Chestnut. You walk into a restaurant,
right and I know you got people that maybe do
this stuff for you sometimes, but they're packed and they like,
we're sorry, sir, we have no did you make a reservation?

Speaker 2 (27:28):
You don't say, maybe a Joey Chestnut?

Speaker 6 (27:32):
Maybe maybe you don't do that out of the bar,
and then you have a drink with the bartender, and the
bartender then tells the people, the restaurant manager who you are?
You know, Yeah, who you are?

Speaker 2 (27:43):
Yeah, Comuno.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
You know that's what you never you never say, do
you know who I am? I'm just saying I feel
like along the way, like you said, there's perks of
being Joey Chestnut. Joey, is there any random athlete, celebrity,
musician that you were shocked to find out as a
big fan of what you do?

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Like like, oh wow, like that guy knows me.

Speaker 6 (27:58):
No. I was at a film festival and so this
woman comes up to me and she's like, you know,
I'm the press secretary for mister Crystal and he would
love to meet you. And they were talking about Billy
Crystal like a legendary actor comedian, and I was really
shocked that he even knw who I was, so that
that took me.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
Back there that it is pretty amazing. Man. We're here
with the great Joey Chestnut.

Speaker 5 (28:21):
Everybody's excited about watching him go for eighteen this weekend.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
Now, you know, we say you're the goat.

Speaker 5 (28:27):
You are the goat, And I'm wondering besides perks and
name drops, even though you say you can't do that,
and I agree, when it comes to endorsements, what sort
of endorsements come with a guy like Joey Chestnut? Like NBA,
there's obviously a sneaker but do people approach Joey Chestnut
for a sneaker deal and stuff like that?

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Like do you got your eyes on other things? Do
you have a dream endorsement? How does that work in
the world.

Speaker 6 (28:51):
I haven't had the sneaker deal yet. You would think
a sneaker company would be smart and really like, hey,
the guy who can eat the most hot dogs guy,
and like people don't want not everybody's slammed dunk in
a basketball you need to wear the shoe that the
guy can eat and uh, yeah, you should have been
able to be able to function and eat. That's that's

(29:12):
more important.

Speaker 5 (29:12):
And some comfy shoes. You got to walk off all
those hot dog calories afterward, right.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
Get those steps, Joey, we talked about how many hot
dogs you eat, and we in the other day we
tried to put in perspective, what's your record again?

Speaker 2 (29:27):
How many and ten minutes.

Speaker 6 (29:29):
Seventy six dogs and ten minutes.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
Time seventy six.

Speaker 4 (29:33):
We were wondering, like the average guy that has a
pretty good appetite that when he's with his buddies he
could eat a lot ten minutes. Is ten hot dogs
in ten minutes even preposterous? Or is that realistic for
like a regular guy with a good appetite.

Speaker 6 (29:46):
Most well, yeah, that's doable for almost anybody. I think
women can do it. It's uh not that like women
should do less like I think anybody should be able
to do ten hot dogs in ten minutes. I uh yeah, it's.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
Not that hard.

Speaker 6 (30:00):
Like we were just so used to eating so casually
and we have. If you eat with a little bit
of sense of urgency, if you had a real job
where you only get a certain night time to eat,
you you can eat. You can put down some food
in ten minutes?

Speaker 2 (30:14):
Yeah, I thought I thought ten and ten seem pretty
sand there. When does it get impressive? Way?

Speaker 4 (30:18):
Like? Wow, twenty is like where where's the number where
people start to go ooh?

Speaker 6 (30:22):
Twenty twenty is where you start? Yeah, that's the real
dogs they got, They got some dog in them. I'm
a dog getting me like a joke. You got to
like a dog. You got to you go to attack
the food. You gotta be a little primal in order
to get to twenty Joe?

Speaker 2 (30:37):
Does it?

Speaker 4 (30:37):
Did it take a take time to get used to
like dipping the bun in water? Because I've I've done
the whole I wonder what this is like in the
minute I dipped, I tried it, I dipped the hot
dog in the botto. I'm like, oh, they like the
soggy bun. Do you ever get used to soggy buns?

Speaker 6 (30:50):
Yeah? It took forever. Yeah, I'm not a psycho, but
I don't find it would No. No, I really tried
not to do it, but it makes sense when you
really start looking at it. It takes the air out
of the bond. The hot water I'm usually like really
warm water, so it helps, it helps everything relax helps
your muscle relax and gets the food to start just

(31:10):
digesting quickly.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
Hey, Joey, of course I don't want to bring up
the downtimes in your career because most of it has
been kick ass and you're the champion. But what happened
when you no no, I don't no no no, But
like what happened when you lost? Like, was it one
of those days where you're like, you know, that just
wasn't my day because most of the time you dominated.

Speaker 6 (31:33):
Bad couple of months, well, the year before I got engaged,
I was engaged and I was supposed to get married
in June. So I was like, I wasn't having the
best year, and I went into the fourth of July,
I uh, we end up calling off the engagement and
calling off the wedding, and uh, my head wasn't in
the right place.

Speaker 5 (31:53):
So it was more it was it mental preparation or
both in that In that case, it was you know what.

Speaker 6 (31:58):
There was preparation. I was getting complacent. I uh, and
and you know, and then you know that's those are
Lamb exheses. The truth is Matt Stoney was hungrier, he
ate more than me that that day, and uh, he's
an awesome eater, and I should have if I wanted
to win, I that that year. I I didn't need

(32:19):
enough to win, and uh, that long back hung the
next year.

Speaker 5 (32:23):
Hell, yeah, that's a it's an amazing story. But do
you still dwell on that a little bit?

Speaker 3 (32:28):
Like?

Speaker 5 (32:28):
Damn it, Matt Stony, even though you're giving him as props.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
Now, is there a part of you there? Are you just? Hey,
it was his year.

Speaker 6 (32:36):
It's it's it's not even that story. Like I know,
good things came out of it. I like I I
went back to the table, went back to the drying board,
and came back super hungry. Like for years and years
I had n't crossed the seventy mark. And as soon
as I came back after I lost, the next year,
I went about seventy hot dogs for the first time ever.

(32:58):
So losing, yeah, making mistakes and uh, it's far life
and learning from him and coming back better from him,
as that's what we all try to do.

Speaker 5 (33:09):
That being said, who's your biggest competition tomorrow?

Speaker 2 (33:13):
Or do you not even look at it that way?
How does that work for you?

Speaker 6 (33:16):
I mean my competition as an actual competitor. Uh, there's
there's there's Pat Pat Berdoletti. He's a great competitor. My competition.
It's me versus numbers, me versus the weather, me versus
the dogs. I'm trying to get, trying to me versus
old man father time. I'm getting older, so I want

(33:37):
to get it'd be great to get a record at
forty two I hit that seventy six dog mark. But
we'll see, we'll see if I got it in me.

Speaker 4 (33:47):
Yeah, Joey, that's it's it's wild to think like Lebron James.
He's playing one more year. By the way, do you
have any thoughts of where Lebron James ends up? He
says he's open to to anywhere.

Speaker 6 (33:59):
Yeah, come on, really he wants to go back to Cleveland.
He has to say that he'll go anywhere. But yeah,
he he really wants to finish in Cleveland, be a
mentor and and and I feel like there's he has
a connection there that no what he yeah, he but
he like on paper, he has to say he's open
to go anywhere.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
Right now.

Speaker 4 (34:20):
Now, Lebron again one more year, but he could probably
play more than one more year because he's he's still
playing at an elite level. Is Joey Chestnut going to
walk away from hot dog eating when people start beating
him or when it's like I've got nothing more to
prove because she's got nothing more to proof now, Like
are you gonna slow down? Is it gonna be one
of those like one year I've won my twenty fifth

(34:40):
in a row, good night everyone? Like, well, what what's
what's the Joey Chester plan?

Speaker 6 (34:46):
I don't think anybody's special, And no, I really believe
there's gonna be a point in time where there's some
animal competitive eater who's gonna come out and he's gonna
he's gonna put me down. I won't have I won't
have to go point five years. But if they beat
me once and then I'll have to try to try
to beat them and get get it back. But we'll

(35:07):
see what happens. I'm taking it one day at a time,
one dog at a time, and dude, fourth of July tomorrow,
it's gonna beautiful.

Speaker 5 (35:14):
I can't wait to watch man traditions Joey Chestnut with
Covino and Rich. We're going to a listener question right now.
He's an amateur eater himself. Greg Mercer and Pittsburgh. So
it's going to be one hundred degrees tomorrow in Coney Island.
Have you been training and eating in the heat to
acclimate and how much more difficult is it for you

(35:36):
in your sport when it's hot like that?

Speaker 2 (35:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (35:39):
I actually I went to Florida. I did one practice
in Florida and it was really really hot and sticky,
and numbers went down a little bit, but I was
really happy with how I performed. And I feel like
it's highly unlikely that's going to help. It could hurt a.

Speaker 9 (35:59):
Little bit, but but it's gonna I if I get
good dogs, Oh my god.

Speaker 6 (36:06):
If the dogs are great, the buns aren't stale, we
can be looking. I feel like that everything. The seventy
six is still in reach.

Speaker 5 (36:16):
Hey, by the way, that's your record seventy six. Obviously
the country started in seventeen seventy six.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
Is that the magic number? Like?

Speaker 5 (36:23):
If you go seventy seven and you got more in you,
do you stop at seventy six just to be like
seventy six as we celebrate two hundred and fifty years?

Speaker 3 (36:31):
Is that it?

Speaker 2 (36:32):
Or do you want to break your own record?

Speaker 6 (36:33):
I'm saying if I hit seventy six. I'm saying I
did it on purpose. They Honestly, when I'm in the zone,
I have no control. My brain is a brain's not
really working, and I'm just gonna yeah, I'm just going
to go go until they stopped me.

Speaker 4 (36:51):
Joey, can you take us through one of the coolest
Joey chest up moments of all time when your mid
competition and some dufist jumps on stage, some Jebbroni gets
in your face and you have to fight him off
and whoop his ass.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
Can you bring us through that moment?

Speaker 6 (37:05):
Oh my god? So it was kind of a blur.
All I remember really is like thinking that the people
who give hot dogs they bumped into me really hard. Oh,
they bumped into me hard. And then then I don't
even remember grabbing the guy. But and then I remember,
like apparently I grabbed him by the neck a little
bit and he fell to the ground and uh uh.

(37:26):
But then then I'm like, oh my god, the conscious
still going. So I had to eat the hot dogs
over my hand and just keep going. But uh, yeah,
he was a protester. He didn't need light. Fact factory farms.
Factory farms aren't too cool. But yeah, he shouldn't have
got them on stage.

Speaker 5 (37:44):
Man, I wish you were available for some of the
protesters out here causing traffic jams, like send Joey Chestnut
up there, put him in a headline.

Speaker 6 (37:52):
I'm way better eating.

Speaker 5 (37:55):
But is it true, Joey Chestnut? This is another listener question,
is park in Colorado? Is it true that you send
every text ending with a hot dog emoji?

Speaker 2 (38:05):
Is that true or no? No?

Speaker 6 (38:08):
No? I send a good number of them with a
hot dog about and there's times where I end with
so many hot dog emojis, like my record seventy six
hot dogs.

Speaker 5 (38:19):
I heard it, seventy six emojis.

Speaker 2 (38:27):
I was gonna say, Joey, Joey Chestnut. Now I have
a question.

Speaker 4 (38:30):
When you do the Nathan's Hot Dog Gating contest every
year you get it, you get a belt, correct.

Speaker 6 (38:36):
You have belts belts up the wall?

Speaker 2 (38:38):
Zopa say?

Speaker 4 (38:39):
Because I can only imagine, Like, you know, sometimes you
go to someone's house and maybe they won some nice award,
you know, do you have them display? Do you have
a room where it's like the trophy room of Joey Chestnut?

Speaker 2 (38:50):
I have.

Speaker 6 (38:50):
I have my office which is like a trophy room.
I have a couple of friends who own restaurants. They
they display a couple of belts. The belts they're the dude,
they've gotten better over the heres Nathan's and then the
sponsors of they keep still tapping it up and it
gives me more reason to get a new belt.

Speaker 5 (39:09):
It's Covino and rich In for the Great Dan Patrick
fourth of July weekend, so we bring you the best.
Joey Chestnut is the best and he's going for title
eighteen this weekend. You know you got it. Let's say
you got it. We got to assume you got this
and you got more in you. How many more do
you think you got in you? And what do you
want Joey's chestnuts legacy to be? That's sort of like

(39:33):
a deeper question. Yeah, but yeah, because you've been doing
it so long, man, you're synonymous with everybody knows. I.

Speaker 6 (39:41):
Oh, I don't know legacy. I think I think that's Uh,
I'm not looking for legazy. I'm just I'm just having
doing what I love to do. I love eating, I
love beating the heck out of people in competition, and uh,
this is just fun. I get to travel and just
have a blast, and I consider myself just super lucky,

(40:02):
a lot of a lot of I I you know,
I went to school for engineering. That's a real job,
working construction, dealing with like change orders and other people's money.
It's like, dude, it's stressful. This this I have the
best think there is and I'm gonna ride this thing
until the wheels fall off.

Speaker 4 (40:20):
Well Joey Chested synonymous with the fourth of July.

Speaker 2 (40:23):
One last question.

Speaker 4 (40:24):
We'll let you go and people could We'll let you
know where everyone could check out Joey tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (40:27):
An annual tradition.

Speaker 4 (40:29):
Is there one food that you're like, yeah, I'm not
eating this in mass amounts? Is there something you've tried
to do a competition with and you're like, no, this
is this is just not I'm not doing it.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
Oh my god.

Speaker 6 (40:39):
So every every you've heard of this mayonnaise bowl that
they have every now and then, people are like, oh
my god, we want you eat mayonnaise in mass quantities.
I'm like, oh no, that that that I think straight mayonnaise.
Anybody who eats straight mayonnaise it should be legal. Yeah
it's not.

Speaker 3 (40:58):
It's not.

Speaker 6 (40:58):
Okay, uh, And yeah, mayonnaise is alright on blt but
the mass quantities of mayonnaise, it's uh, it's something I've
turned down again in the game.

Speaker 3 (41:08):
Yeah, I don't blame you on that one.

Speaker 5 (41:10):
Our producer Danny g has one last question. You said,
if you get good dogs tomorrow, If you get good dogs,
and we're all hoping for great buns the whole weekend,
we want great buns.

Speaker 2 (41:19):
Right, if you got good.

Speaker 5 (41:21):
Dogs, what's the best way to cook a hot dog
for the people getting ready for their big cookout this weekend.

Speaker 6 (41:26):
Joey, Oh yeah, oh, you know, I at home. I
love it over charcoal, real charcoal grill. That's great. If
the gas grill is awesome, flat top griddle, oh that's
tiss it's really good. Yeah, but anything about boiled dogs,
you know, keep the dirty water dogs out of my

(41:50):
fourth and July celebration.

Speaker 2 (41:51):
All right, man, hey, we wish you the best. Uh,
we know you've got it. You're the man.

Speaker 5 (41:56):
We appreciate you being here again for people to keep
in mind. He has the record seventy six. As you know,
we celebrate seventeen seventy six, seventy six dogs in ten minutes.
What does he get tomorrow is gonna be on ESPN
two starting neon eastern right, and a sim will cast
it on ABC. Give us the details, man, because we
all want to tune in and root you on.

Speaker 2 (42:17):
Oh yeah, it's.

Speaker 6 (42:17):
Gonna be yeah, live on you on ABC. I think
twelve thirty Eastern time and ESPN or ESPN two is
it's starting at twelve, yeah, and it's gonna it's gonna
be this is, this is gonna be one for the
record books, and it's gonna be hot, humid, but we're
gonna be pushing hard and uh, I'm gonna ignore every
feeling in my body to come out on top.

Speaker 2 (42:39):
And you're going to the wigh in right now, Oh.

Speaker 6 (42:42):
My way to the way. They're gonna wave my fat
body and hopefully yeah, you know, I'm feeling light. Actually,
I'm feel pretty good. There's a room for seventy five
to eighty hot dogs.

Speaker 4 (42:53):
We'll see what happen, all right, Joey, real quick, if
you wait yourself right before and after the seventy six dogs,
how much how much do you put on? Like is
what's the sizeable difference on a scale before and after the.

Speaker 6 (43:05):
Hot dogs by themselves elves? Like seventy five hot dogs
by themselves. I want to say, weighs seventeen pounds, and

Speaker 10 (49:27):
Uh yeah, concur for all the same reasons, all right
with three for three going for the back door.

Speaker 2 (49:33):

Plate three was like a gluttonous meals two burgers, mac
and cheek and garden salad.

a glutton.

Speaker 7 (49:41):
I agreed with Cody, guys, because that salad the salad
to me balance things with the ranch.

Speaker 2 (49:50):
There's no dog, though, I don't know when you get
some burger and the dog, I would pull an Iowa Sam,
I'd take a hot dog home.

Speaker 10 (49:58):
Here's the thing, though, I thought play three like great
but I ended up going because I want that hot dog.
I went with Plate one, so Danny was just on
the same damn plate drew it platee.

movies is his most underrated film? Collateral, American Maid, or
War of the World. Most underrated Tom Cruise movie out

(50:34):
of those three American made is solid Collateral and War.

Speaker 2 (50:39):
They're all also excellent. All Right, we're all writing our
answers down, Okay, locked in, locked in? All right, Sam's

Speaker 6 (51:06):
To say War of the World. That'sted and so good.

Speaker 2 (51:09):
He says, War of the Worlds. We go in reverse
reverse order.

Speaker 10 (51:11):
I was saying, you know, I ruled out War of
the Worlds. It was between Collateral and American Made. I
went with Collateral because I mean, honestly, that's one of
the best, I think the best movies ever made.

Speaker 7 (51:21):
Dude, I agree with you. I also said Collateral. All right,
we go to Big Mike.

Speaker 2 (51:26):
I'm on the Collateral trade. Yes, I'm going there, Rich.

Speaker 4 (51:31):
Davis, I'm gonna say Collateral.

Speaker 2 (51:36):
It comes down to deep door cover.

Speaker 5 (51:39):
Wow, this is wild so American Maid War of the Worlds.
I hear a lot of people talk about those movies,
and I don't hear.

Speaker 2 (51:46):
Anyone talk about Collateral. That's what I'm talking about. Back
door body with the backdoor accent. All right, that's how
you start a weekend.

Speaker 7 (51:56):
Cody, You're halfway to one of those popular ce in
our grill and aprons for the summer.

all in the same brainwave, right, Such a good a
Jamie fox Man, all right, got very underrated, must sir?

Speaker 7 (52:08):

fun Call this no JPP. How would you rather partake
in Fourth of July explosions, fireworks show put on by
your own city, personal fireworks you set off on your street,
or a drone show at a sporting event, or.

Speaker 2 (52:27):
Mike who runs this place, sitting in richest chair.

Speaker 3 (52:30):
Stop it.

Speaker 2 (52:33):

This weekend fireworks show put on by your town, personal
fireworks you set off on your street, or a drone
show at.

Speaker 2 (52:43):

put on by your own city.

Speaker 2 (53:05):
All right, Steve Covino, let's here. I'm going.

Speaker 5 (53:08):

I like going out there. I'm going fireworks at the town. Yeah,
feeling of you know, getting out there and watching it
with everybody in town.

Speaker 4 (53:21):
Rich Davis, the drone show is too futuristic for me.
I think I'm not a trashy, joke dirt type of guy.
I'm not lighting off Husker News and Husker don'ts. You've
got to go for the fireworks by the whole town.

Speaker 2 (53:36):
Yeah, fun for me, all right? And Big Mike, what'd
say you?

Speaker 6 (53:40):
I gotta say I hate crowds and I live in California,
where I can never do.

Speaker 2 (53:46):
My own personal fireworks, which I would love to do.
So I'm going with my own person, Big Mike blowing
up his cult efec.

Speaker 3 (53:55):
Mike with some bottle rockets.

Speaker 2 (53:57):
Thinks that's awesome. Well you know what, Cody, back it up, Mike,
back it up, I said, my city. Yeah, so that's
three right there you go yeah boo.

Speaker 10 (54:08):
Well guess what, guys, I also said city display.

Speaker 3 (54:10):
Yo.

Speaker 2 (54:13):
I was trying to ruin it. I'm coming down to
the drone show.

Speaker 10 (54:16):
The drone shows are becoming amazing, really, and they're less polluting.

Speaker 2 (54:19):
They don't Yeah, dogs, fireworks, Hey, it doesn't matter. I
don't want thirty years of fireworks displays them.

Speaker 6 (54:26):

Let me tell you anyone that anyone that's mad about
their pets, I got a major problem with that.

Speaker 2 (54:35):
It's once a year.

Speaker 4 (54:37):
I love pets, but little little whiffles could worry about
could deal with one day of fireworks.

Speaker 3 (54:43):
We gotta do fireworks.

Speaker 5 (54:45):
Yeah, and look, I like lighting off your own on
the street. That's fun, but.

Speaker 10 (54:49):
It's dangerous if you got property of a farm or something.
It's always that's a great time. Yeah, but who are
you a grouccy brother?

Speaker 5 (54:55):
What's the stat Rich's like, thirteen thousand injuries every fourth
of j nineteen.

Speaker 4 (54:59):
Thousand people, well every fourth of July go to the
emergency with the alcohol.

Speaker 5 (55:03):
Makes a lot of fun, but be safe. But Hey,
wins the summer process.

Speaker 7 (55:08):
Hang on the line there in Idaho, be mailing out
the CNR grill and apron to you.

Speaker 2 (55:13):

Speaker 5 (55:14):
I can't relievely won that. I thought for sure would
