Speaker 1 (00:10):
Welcome to Jenkins and Jones, independently owned and operated since April.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Twenty twenty five.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
I haven't had enough talking about the nine foot eleven
alien basketball player.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
You've come to the right place.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
For those who missed it, We did have an emergency
pod last night after the Spurs one who was a
Patreon only so if you are not subscribed to the patreon,
it's patreon dot com slash Jenkins and Jones. I would
even with tonight's pot, I would recommend going back and
rewatching that it was a blast. They had Tyler's homie
Foody on the line. Tyler was, is that like the
normal foody experience?

Speaker 4 (00:43):
Yes, yes, that bro like I said, the most one
of the most unintentionally hilarious dudes. I haven't met him life.
Been my partners since we were fucking teenagers. Like, always
been hilariously incredible, Always been.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Incredible as always Jenkins and Jones hosted by le Jets
with Jenkins Ak Jones. Was that Blubba's Dragonfly Jones aka
Tyler everybody on the good and uh no Mike tonight
he's on dad duty.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
His his son is playing a baseball game and the report.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Is his son is not playing up to his normal standards.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
He's having It's an All Star game, right, you know
it's it's I think it's a.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
The Turnal All Star Game or fourteen League. I forget
which one, so it's I'm I don't I'm cutting the
kids some slack. But Mike seems a little a little hot.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
I mean, dude, he's played seventy five fucking game. I know,
seventy six. He Mike, and you know, chill out a
little bit.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
I don't know if I was supposed to expose but Mike,
Mike said, he sent me his like what his performance
in the game, and he said, considering making him walk home.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
And I said, relax. I said, he's already pissing up
this at himself.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
And Mike said, he's not pissing up, but.

Speaker 6 (01:45):
The you might have to have an intervention.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
I know he started to get the real.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Okay, let's talk a little bit.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Since I missed out on the Emergency pod last night,
I want to talk more about this game. First, Tyler,
I saw you retweeted a graphic of the similarities between
the Age twenty two seasons for Tim Duncan and Victor
Wembin Yam the third team All NBA, first Team All
Defense or third.

Speaker 6 (02:12):
In the MVP voting.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
I mean, and now going to the finals against the Knicks,
do you can you sort of expand on that and like,
what do you how how similar do you feel like
the arcs of these players is going and may end.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Up being Yeah, it's you know, twenty seven years Bettween
the between the ninety nine matchup, in this matchup, and
it felt like the arrival of Tim Duncan when he
won that ring in his third year. Of course, it
feels like, you know, Winby has already arrived this postseason.
I think he's the best player in the world, like,
and going into this postseason, I didn't think that he was.

Speaker 6 (02:44):
He was my number three.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
It was my my personal list with Jokic, Sga, Wemby
then as I felt like Sga leap frog Yolkic after
Jokic got eliminated.

Speaker 6 (02:52):
Now it's it's Winby's world, bro, Like, like.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
I think he is the best in the world, and
it's like, bro, even even with you know what we
saw in that series, I was thruly impressive with me
in that series, of course, but the one prevalent thought
I kept having is like he has so much room
to grow offensively. And I'll say if that said that
about a kid who averaged twenty seven eleven three blocks
per game on forty eight forty ninety splits, and I

(03:18):
came away from that thinking he can he can get
so much better than this, you know what I mean,
It's just absurd, bro.

Speaker 6 (03:23):
Like I just.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
I would say, I'm like like, like I can't believe
how good he's been this postseason, But like I knew
that this kid was that's for greatness when I was
seeing him doing fucking one on one workout videos would
go bear when he was fucking sixteen, you know what
I mean, Like I knew that.

Speaker 6 (03:41):
The sky was the ceiling for this was the lemit
for this kid.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
And it's just if he pulls this this ring off, bro,
like sheesh, that will be where I'm just kind of
like at a loss for worries at that moment, like
like like what the fuck?

Speaker 6 (03:53):
How have we witnessed?

Speaker 5 (03:55):
You don't still feel like it's somewhat unbelievable, like we've
never I mean I still watch, and maybe I don't
watch as much as you do, you know what I mean?

Speaker 6 (04:04):
Like, so maybe like when when I'm watching him still
like is this like real?

Speaker 5 (04:08):
It still has like video game character? Like is he
like you know, people we all say like I think
El David five or B says like barring injury, it
still feels like this, like this can't be something that
exists for ten twelve years healthily, you know what I mean,

(04:29):
Like it just doesn't seem real. But I mean, I
think it's gonna prove what's wrong. But I mean, I mean,
or you prove you right, you know.

Speaker 6 (04:36):
What I mean.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
It's just it just still feels like I guess it's
it's a this can't be what an actual basketball player
that everybody has to worry about for the next next decade,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 6 (04:48):
It's just crazy to me.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
I mean, the one unbelievable thing is he's way ahead
of schedule for me.

Speaker 6 (04:54):
Even even for the.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
As high as I was on him, I did not
have him, you know, I did not think that, Like
I told you, Game three versus Minnesota is when I
was so like, yo, he's good enough to win it
all this postseason. Like that was because I did not
come into this postseason thinking that I thought he would
have to go the do the bumps that all players
have to go through in their first few playoff showns.
But for him to just get out there his first
postseason and be in the finals, Like, no, even I

(05:16):
didn't see that coming.

Speaker 6 (05:18):
It's crazy. I don't in the finals this first year.
He went to the third year.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Okay, so he came in ninety he came in ninety six,
ninety seven, he came in ninety seven.

Speaker 6 (05:31):
Ninety nine was his first playoff, right with first finals? Right?

Speaker 2 (05:35):
First finals?

Speaker 5 (05:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (05:36):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Okay.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
It's it's so crazy that between that minutes game of
the Minnesota series and then Game one against the Thunder,
he's played two of the single best individual playoff games,
like on both uns of the floor I've seen in
a long time, and he's only in his first playoff run.
Like it's so it's so unbelievable how good he is,

(05:58):
so fast. I was trying to do the the counting
of when was the last time someone in their third
year made it to the NBA Finals and as the
best player on the team, And Duncan is obviously ninety nine,
but and I think the other the only more recent
one would be Dwayne Wade in two thousand and six
promise his fourth year and d Wade won the title
that year, and you know, but it's it's just so

(06:21):
unbelievable that he's twenty two. And then on top of that,
like the other guys Duncan and d Wade, their running
mates are like all time great players David Robinson and
and what not for Duncan and stuff, where Wemby, I mean,
Darren Fox is like.

Speaker 6 (06:38):
Mary Y had Sack. Sack was like old as fu
for sure.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
I mean d Waye is probably a little bit more
of a of a carry job, but still like to
the fact that Wemby has Darren Fox, who's good well
I think he won All Star right, and Stefan Castle
who's in his second season, and Dylan Harper who's in
his first season.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
Harkmer Castle abought to be one of my favorite tandems. Bro,
did you see that A lot of like their friendship
like this, like them like right right, Like I want
to like if I was yours, I want to hang
with them young niggas, like like I'm a big fan
of both of them together. But also I want to
say Wade after they was like thirty six in that final, like.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Wade, that was the that was the real, the last
great foudating internet saga. I feel like that was really
like the free throw number, the free throw.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
Numbers on that on that finals word.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
But that's because the wave d Wade played, he attacked.
She was so aggressive like that. Like I remember watching
watching d Way, We'd be like this nigga is gonna
be fucking cooked in a few years because.

Speaker 6 (07:37):
He was he was everything. Everything he got was at
the rim.

Speaker 5 (07:39):
Like he played basketball, like what's the running back? They
said had had the like incredible knees even though he
ran crazy what was his name?

Speaker 6 (07:48):
Played Oklahoma, Oh, Adrian Peterson.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
He played basketball like Adrian Peterson played football, You know
what I mean? Like it was crazy watching them all play.
But yeah, anyway, what were you about to say, Tyler
should I don't remember what I was about.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
I was gonna say that, do you guys see that
they're calling or they've been calling Castle and Harper the
Slash Brothers.

Speaker 6 (08:07):
I'm not glad at it. I'm glad at it. I
love it. I'm mad at it. Bro They're fun as fun.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
They're they're so fun and they and because of their
friendship and the clips of them from Game seven and stuff.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
People have been circulating some older clips.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Of them of their friendship and stuff, and one was
I think Castle being interviewed at All Star weekend and
they asked him about his team, or about or about
his game, and Dylan Harper was like there in like
outside in the media's firm, sort of like watching his interview,
and he was like, I just try to watch Dylan
Harper tape and I try to, you know, emulate Dylan
Harper's game.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
And he just got this big.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Smile on his face, like these two guys are are
so locked in. It's so much fun.

Speaker 6 (08:42):
They're both dogs. But like Castle might jump off the porch.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
Quicker, you know what I mean, Harper is there to
like balance it out, like you know what I'm saying,
Like my g you know, like keep it smooth, baby,
you know, keep it smooth.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
But I mean him diving up the floor just behind
him to hold Castle back from.

Speaker 6 (09:00):
A you know what I mean? And Yang you feel me?

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Yeah, we got aerial smoke in the chat the super
chatmel something.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Name Wemby is the Goat.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Jay Z and our Bred are the same person.

Speaker 6 (09:18):
Both age.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
A for the rafts Man as the goat Arials the goat.
Another thing I was I wanted to talk about is
I've seen people.

Speaker 6 (09:34):
Bring up the fact.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
We'll bring up Kevin Durant going to the Warriors again
into about two contexts about the Thunder, one about the
possibility of them trading for Giannis and two about like
this is, imagine this scenario if SGA went to the
Spurs now in these off season, like, that's what it
was like for Kevin Durant. And I'm curious because I
was on the Warriors fandom side of that, so I
didn't find it to be nearly as annoying as lots

(09:58):
of other people did. And uh so I'm curious you
you guys, what your guys opinion of what this situation
would look like if Yannis, if the Thunder trade for
Yiannis and or like, do you feel the similarities it's
similar enough to compare with whereas if f G s
g A, like he's not going too obviously if he
had left this summer and gone to this purg does
it is that what it sort of would feel like?

Speaker 4 (10:20):
Yeah, the only equivalent would be if s g A
went there, went to the Spurs, and that's not going
to happen.

Speaker 6 (10:25):
Yeah, you know, I don't.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
I don't think that that that OKAYC is going to
make a go at Jannis either. I think Sam Presci
is someone who very much trusts, you know, his core
of guys. I think he's someone who who who you know,
trust the process, not in a sixers way, but but
in a way where where you know, you have to
be patient with the guys you have on board. And
there were some injuries this seriously right, like that, there's
there's always that to lean on to. But yeah, you know,

(10:49):
in regards to like like the whole KD thing, like,
of course I understood, you know, he bro do what's
best for you. It's your world, it's it's your life,
it's your career. But he robbed us of a great
rivalry like that that calvs. Warriors robbery could have been
an all time great robbery. But thank god, it looks
like we have another great robbery here with san Antonio
and Okac.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Yeah, so I am very excited for this, And obviously
after a game like that, there's always a lot of
sort of big opinions about like this is a marker
for the future of the league. Wemby's gonna run the
League now and maybe and that certainly might be true.
But now that we officially have another year of this
era of no repeat champions and no repeat Western Conference champions, even,

(11:32):
do you feel like this is going to be a
situation where the Spurs win three of the next four
three of the next five titles or Western Conferences?

Speaker 3 (11:40):
Or do you think that the thunder you.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Know will sort of have something to say about this,
because considering they had John Williams hurd aj A J
Mitchell also hurt.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
Yeah, I mean, and this is another thing that that
Presty might have to consider is that this is Wimby's
not gonna Wimby's only gonna get better, right and right,
and he's only gotta get better and bro, I don't
know if the Spurs are gonna go on a like
three peat run or anything crazy like that, but I
do think that that we're gonna have, you know, multiple

(12:13):
years where the winner of these Spurs OKAC series wherever
they mean the playoffs is going to win the West.

Speaker 6 (12:17):
I for sure believe that.

Speaker 5 (12:18):
Yeah, and the supporting cast only gonna get better too,
Like them young boys, this.

Speaker 6 (12:22):
Is the first time making that run as well.

Speaker 5 (12:24):
You feel me like they only gonna get more comfortable
onto the spotlight, only gonna get better at basketball, you
feel me, Like what we were saying last night is like
when we had a great game, but it's supporting cast,
Like they really showed the fuck up in a game
seven young boys, heavy nuts, you know what I mean, Like,
so this is only gonna get you know, I think
the team as a whole on get better and uh yeah.

Speaker 6 (12:43):
Well so we'll see, we'll see. But yeah, he was.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
Fun and a game like last night is why I
think there's always whenever Dan Harper has a good game,
there's a lot of people on the internet who are like, just.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Trade Fox, get who needs zeron Fox?

Speaker 3 (12:58):
We have doing harp now and like, Dylan Harper is amazing.

Speaker 6 (13:01):
I don't even be the situations man, but turnovers.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
But I like last night after Devin Vessel.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
Has been one of their best players all postseason, all series,
he kind of didn't have it going jump shot wise
Champinnee had it going.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Fox really had it going.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
After after a kind of a rough couple of games
for Fox, Healthier Castle and Harper obviously had to go,
and so they had the ability to choose.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
We know, Okay, Devin Vessille doesn't really have it going offensively.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
He can watch, he can set on the bench for
a four minute stretch there in the fourth quarter, end
of the fourth quarter, and we can still have Fox, Harper,
Castle and Champinnee out there where if you like, get
rid of Fox because you're.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
Like, oh, we don't too much ball handling, we don't
need we got Harper.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
I just feel like there's no what's the rush to
get rid of dearon Fox when you have what's wrong
with having more good players?

Speaker 6 (13:44):
Yeah? Also a good vet, you know what I'm saying.
I think it's good to have a good VET.

Speaker 5 (13:47):
And you know what I'm saying to kind of like
coach some dudes up, you know what I mean, Like even.

Speaker 6 (13:51):
On the bitch of it, I think that the first game,
you feel.

Speaker 5 (13:54):
Me like he's he's you know, he's he's a positive
you know, he's he's speaking positive to these players and
make sure they mond still in the ship. I think
you need that type of ship, you know what I mean?
And he can still got the bucket when he's healthy.
You feel me but like yeah, gee, I mean, I mean,
I don't, I don't. It doesn't makes doesn't. That's that
that makes sense to me. But champagnae Jesus Christ away game.

(14:14):
I mean, and then like Champagne was stroking that motherfucker right.
But like then like Harper.

Speaker 6 (14:18):
Was coming on.

Speaker 5 (14:19):
You know what I'm saying, Castle was like, you know,
aggressive as fuck. It's that was last night we were
seeing Like last night, I was probably the most scared
of like if I'm the NBA looking at this team.

Speaker 6 (14:32):
What what the fuck is? What the fuck is we
gonna do? You know what I'm.

Speaker 5 (14:35):
Saying, Like for real, man, Like and then like we
were talking, you you got the you were getting uh
Winby in the spots you want them to be in
a couple of times we like dunked from like eight
feet out like okay, we just can't do nothing about that.
But I mean there was a couple of times were
like you know this this nigga, this nigga out here,
we got him in the outside the paint.

Speaker 6 (14:56):
You feel me. He's he shooting threes and ship cash
money though, you.

Speaker 5 (14:59):
Know, like what do we go do when he gets
There's nothing anybody that's ever played basketball could do.

Speaker 6 (15:06):
It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
There's certainly nothing. Chet Holmgren could do. The Chet Homegren
hate fest has been spectacular.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
Are you guys.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Familiar with the internet bit?

Speaker 6 (15:17):
That I don't.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
I don't like this sort of like street interview thing,
but where they go and say, you guys familiar with
gay sun or thought daughter? Yeah, you guys familiar with
It's It's like it was a dumb internet trend that
is sort of like now regained second life conversations about
people just going around ask people in street thought daughter horrible.
I don't know, but I have seen people make the

(15:39):
joke online today Chet Holmgrend's son or Jayalen Duran daughter,
which I find hilarious as two of the biggest playoff
droppers of this run.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Chet holme.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
Uh chat one for two in a gamest seven, bro,
Like we weren't even trying and.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
Both shots were the first three minutes of the game.

Speaker 6 (16:01):
Oh fucking guy, Like he.

Speaker 5 (16:03):
Didn't shoot it all the entire second half or shorter.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
He didn't shoot past past the nine and a half
minute mark.

Speaker 6 (16:10):
That's so embarrassing, bro. I mean like like Mike brought it,
Mike said it. Bro.

Speaker 5 (16:14):
The nigga got dunked on and his nuts crawled him
into his fucking chest. He had nothing after that had nothing.
But it's just like nigga, you will big you get
dumped on like I just don't understand that, like you
had the cup. All the time niggas get dunked on.
I just I can't I like this. I have the
same thoughts when it comes to fighting. I never get
I never like, like lose respect for a nigga that

(16:35):
get whooped.

Speaker 6 (16:36):
You know what I'm saying, Like niggas get whooped.

Speaker 5 (16:37):
Man, you can't somebody gonna whoop your ass sometimes this
is what it is. But if you don't fight back,
that's just it's it's hard to respect that, you know
what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (16:45):
And just as like a competitor, you know what.

Speaker 5 (16:47):
I mean, like and you're supposed to be you you
You see, like he said, the niggain close his mouth big,
the big mouth nigga ain't close his mouth for a time.

Speaker 6 (16:55):
Fourth quarter. You know what I mean. Get that niggas.
You see your nigga can get jumped. And you just
watched the big mouth nigga. You know what I mean.
No gating rate non't milk, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (17:05):
Dragon his lips around the mother for the court, you
feel me, and you don't try to help at least
hold the lipoff.

Speaker 6 (17:11):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (17:13):
He didn't have to look like that, like that, like
that nigga Like Bro, you just really just started to
get jump and just just watched.

Speaker 6 (17:22):
And I just just just hard to respect. I I
like people say fuck.

Speaker 5 (17:26):
Come and they conning them and ship whatever, but I
feel bad for the nigga man Like I I didn't
want to say that for the mic because Mike gone
gonna be ready to scratch him.

Speaker 6 (17:34):
Different.

Speaker 5 (17:35):
I just I feel I just feel bad for anybody
who looks that pussy in front of the whole world.
Like you didn't look like you got beat. You look
like a whole pitch. And that's that's that's that's the
most embarrassing part. Niggas take als. But looking like a bitch, Damn,
that's that's a stitch that's hard to wash off.

Speaker 6 (17:53):
You feel me.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
Even the as Funk Doc and the chat said the
broadcast was was clowning and Reggie and Jamal there was
that possession in the fourth quarter when they swing the
ball to him on the right wing, Wemby's guarding him.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
He jab steps and just and then and and Reggie goes.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
Go at him and then he just passes it up
and goes back to the corner.

Speaker 5 (18:14):
He had why he had a wh he had a
wide open three, you know what I'm saying, And like
like didn't It's like he didn't even think about shooting
a bitch.

Speaker 6 (18:23):
You just pump faked and then swung it to the corner.

Speaker 5 (18:27):
And then and then and then I think that Nigga
threw the cross court pass and then somebody actually hit the.

Speaker 6 (18:31):
Three, but I don't know who it was, who it was,
but but yeah, gee, like it was. It's this the
nastiest of work.

Speaker 5 (18:39):
Just just just completely getting emasculated in front of the
entire entire planet is just that's a rough rough look.

Speaker 6 (18:45):
Did you see the by of God? But still right,
you see.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
The clips from his locker room like press conference scrum after.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
When they were asking him about it, No, what do
you say?

Speaker 1 (18:54):
They were just like, oh, you know, the report is
trying to be not an asshole about it, and I
respect could Weather reporter approach it? So you know, the
dynamic going into the series was obviously there are a
lot of talk you and webby you guys whatever, whatever,
how did you feel like that dynamic?

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Did you feel like you were going I think he
asked them, did you feel.

Speaker 6 (19:12):
Like you were going out of your way to not
make it about that?

Speaker 1 (19:14):
Do you feel like you sort of over indexed to
not going at him because you don't want to play
into this sort of mental warfare situation? And Chet was
basically and Check kind of just paused, and he was
just like he gave some classic lame coach speak answer
about how it's a team game and really it's just
about the Thunder versus the Spurs and everyone is clouding
him and just bringing up the same megaviral tweet like

(19:36):
Chet's gonna have to participate in this the situation.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
Because what the hell is this?

Speaker 4 (19:42):
Like, Bro, just just a completely different end of the
spectrum from Winby's post game like wh where he said,
you know, I had to dig into the anger and
and maybe a bit of jealousy that I had about
this team success, you know, to motivate myself for this game.

Speaker 6 (19:56):
Like what a fucking answer, You know what I mean?
I love the honest see, Bro, Like you know what
I'm saying anyway, go ahead.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
Yeah, yeah, And when we saw that, you know, on
the on the night. Where where where SGA got presented
his his MVP trophy? And and when we had a
very honest answer there too, where where where you know?
A reporter asked him, you know you saw SGA get
it getting handed his MVP, like like you know, were
you a little you know, do you feel like he
possibly had your m v PD you feel like you

(20:22):
should have won it?

Speaker 6 (20:23):
And he was like, yes, everything you said he said
that motivates you. Yes, yeah, all of that, all.

Speaker 5 (20:26):
Of that, you know what I mean, Like you get
it too that I love that, But like, yeah, I
just I don't know, bro, Like no amount of coach
PA is gonna make us believe that you don't know
you fucking ship the bed. You could say all this
silly ass about if it's a team sport, what part
did you play, motherfucker second best player in the team
one for fucking two, Nigga.

Speaker 6 (20:48):
If it's a team sport, why were you active?

Speaker 5 (20:51):
Why did you step up for your motherfucking teammates?

Speaker 6 (20:53):
Nigga?

Speaker 2 (20:54):
And they were Jalen Williams and A. G.

Speaker 3 (20:56):
Mitchell they're missing their second What is an option from.

Speaker 6 (20:59):
The series before?

Speaker 5 (21:00):
Like what do you I think I think I think Jalen,
you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (21:04):
I think that that's a big difference maker obviously, you
know what I mean. He was it wasn't.

Speaker 5 (21:08):
Healthy at all, So that could that could be something
next year to watch for.

Speaker 6 (21:12):
Shure.

Speaker 5 (21:12):
I think you first mentioned that when I was out.
I think, yeah, but yeah, gee, like I just I
just like you, you know, you need to go out shooting, bro.
The effort at minimum has to be there. And the
fact that that wasn't there, bro, like you just you
just try to that there's there's that you can't run
from that. The nigga wants to fight you for real, bro.

(21:35):
Like not I'm not saying like actual fight, but like
he wants he's gonna battle with you every.

Speaker 6 (21:40):
Time y'all on the court for real.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
Bro.

Speaker 5 (21:43):
You can't run from that smoke. Nigga's there at all times,
and he wants that ship and you and you the
fact that you cowered powered away from it. It's just
like on some just flat out not like not like
on some man ship.

Speaker 6 (21:57):
That's hard.

Speaker 5 (21:57):
It's that that's difficult, bro, that's difficult to to to
to to live with. So I hope he look himself
in the mirror call himself a bitch A few times.

Speaker 6 (22:06):
We all been there.

Speaker 5 (22:07):
You know what I'm saying, Like, don't beat on no function,
nigga locked in you feel me, get getting the lab
and then do you know, do yourself some justice next time?

Speaker 6 (22:16):
Nigga the fuck? You know what I mean? Just off
the off the strength of you.

Speaker 4 (22:21):
That's crazy, Yeah, I just I just have to believe
that it's way easier to live with yourself knowing that
you gave it your all and fell short. That they're
knowing that the opponent's look at you and seafood and
know that you're that they're gonna pick on you. There's
nothing you can fucking do about it. Like, how do
you live with yourself after that?

Speaker 3 (22:36):
Bro?

Speaker 5 (22:36):
And if they pick on you, at least you fought
nigga like they could. Okay, pick on me. I'm I'm
out this bitch. Do what you need to do. I'm
gonna do what the funk I need to do too.
Know that you know what I'm saying, Come in me
on this, I'm come at you another end the fun
were talking about.

Speaker 6 (22:49):
You know what I'm saying, you all start right, and
that's about your other nd Like.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Six out here, like in Dependence was kind of non existent.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
He had a couple of multi hit two or three
across the series, incredibly highlight blocks like met the Guy
at the Top, and very impressive box. For the most part, though,
the Spurs guards, including Julian Champagnee, who's a shooter basically
a shooter only. I mean he's a good player, but
like basically a shooter only. As far as most of
the game goes, he's just driving through Chet's tress and
like putting him under the basket on her multiple times.

Speaker 6 (23:22):
Right when when does pride kick him? Bro? And that
we ain't saying pride in a negative way.

Speaker 5 (23:29):
We say in pride just like self, like love for
self nigga, Like like self preservation nigga, you get your ass, well,
save yourself, nigga. You know what I mean, Like damn geez,
it's just crazy. I just like I couldn't be out
there getting bought like that in front of the in
front of the world.

Speaker 6 (23:44):
Man, just knock me to.

Speaker 5 (23:45):
Funk out, you feel me, But I'm gonna I'm gonna
throw hands for show.

Speaker 6 (23:49):
I mean, the player, God, we don't expect you to
be better than him. That's the thing.

Speaker 5 (23:54):
We don't expect youiga. You can get cooked in that
motherfucker and.

Speaker 6 (23:58):
You're supposed to cook nigga. God bless that nigga.

Speaker 5 (24:01):
You know what I'm saying that we that's a nigga
we ain't never seen in our fucking lives before.

Speaker 6 (24:06):
Brother.

Speaker 5 (24:06):
You know what I'm saying, We don't expect you to
really stop that motherfucker, but just don't look like a sucker.
That's that's nigga. I mean, that's the minimum expectations A
lot about you.

Speaker 6 (24:16):
Just look like a sucker, Like like it all.

Speaker 5 (24:19):
Comes down to what poo he said, You know what
I mean, It didn't have to look like this.

Speaker 6 (24:24):
It look like this, Bro, it did doesn't look like this.

Speaker 4 (24:26):
So like like to to basically kind of strip down
what playoff basketball strategy is. It is your opponents looking
at you and saying this is who we think you
are and the worst way possible and this then we're
going to attack that and and bro, like like like,
how can you not take that personal?

Speaker 6 (24:44):
Because it's not personal?

Speaker 5 (24:45):
It is personal, you know what I'm saying, Like they should.

Speaker 6 (24:48):
Take to go to work, man, just trying to go
who man, it's.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
Bro that's all play off strategy is is this is
who we think you are. Prove us wrong or or
prove us right, and Check prove pro tho prove those
motherfuckers right.

Speaker 6 (24:59):
Bro, The thing is too bro like. I don't think
Check is what we saw.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
No, I don't think it's the second best rent protector
in the league behind I don't think.

Speaker 5 (25:09):
And that's and that's what would fuck me up. It
is like, I know what the fuck I am, but
I didn't like when they when they told me something
I coward and let them just bully me into being what.

Speaker 6 (25:18):
They thought of me.

Speaker 5 (25:19):
I just I just like, Bro, you gotta let these
niggas know they got you fucked up.

Speaker 6 (25:25):
And you know that.

Speaker 5 (25:25):
And that's one thing in life too, bro Like, regardless
of what you wanted to be, sometimes you gotta let
motherfuckers know you got.

Speaker 6 (25:32):
Me all the ways fucked up.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
And that's kind of what was life like.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
Even if you're not, you're feeling like you really lost
your confidence of Yeah, like hard foul the fuck out
of somebody on defense, like starting a little grab someone
the jersey.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
I don't start of fight, but like get show a
little bit of.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
Hey, you think it's one way, bitch is the underway,
you know what I mean? I might not be this motherfucker.
I ain't who the fuck you telling me I am?
And I need to let you know that Ship and
Check need to have something that bottle bro Sometimes you
just got to grab them nuts on sim old school
fucking shit. You feel me, you know, like, and it
is what it is and not just it's hard. It's
hard to see that, man, for sure.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
We have people in the chat asking if we're all
rooting for the Spurs in the finals, and so we
are going to talk do it more of a a
finals preview on the pod this week. This is a
little plug for the Patreon. We are going to have
a Knicks fan of friend of ours come on the
pod on Tuesday's episode Behind the Paywall only so patrion
dot com slat Jenkins and Jones subscribe for that. But

(26:35):
before that, I'm curious who you guys find yourselves at this.

Speaker 6 (26:38):
Point it's only Sunday games not till Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
Who do you guys find yourself rooting for?

Speaker 2 (26:43):
If you if and how much are you rooting for them?

Speaker 6 (26:45):
By like?

Speaker 1 (26:45):
Is it you feel like you're happy the way you
just excited for the series. You find yourself wanting one
team or the other.

Speaker 6 (26:50):
Where do you guys?

Speaker 3 (26:51):
How do you guys see it so far?

Speaker 4 (26:52):
Yeah, I'm in a pretty weird spot because I was
a Knicks fan in a previous lifetime before I just
I just bailed bro Like, I like, I can't take
this anywhere, Like that motherfucker Dolin broke me.

Speaker 6 (27:03):
I'm not gonna lie to y'all. I said, I cannot
do this shit no more. And I got a lot
of love for Bron, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (27:10):
Yeah, And it so happened like like Bron was my
favorite playing the league and he went on a bit
of a run right around that same time. So I
was like, you know, this is where where I'm going
to kind of, you know, cast my fandom to. I
don't think I'll ever be back on board as an
official Knicks fan, but I always want to see good
things happen for that franchise in that fan base. But
you know, the winby story is just fucking incredible. I

(27:30):
love that Spurs team too. I really legitimately love both
of these teams. I have not been this excited for
a Finals since the twenty sixteen lineup where we're like,
we're finally getting a healthy, you know, calve squad to
run it back. Like like no other finals since then
have excited me this much who I'm signing with Emotionally,

(27:51):
I'm just so so invested in Winby right now. Bro,
I'm just so invested in Wimby. Never seen anything like
this kid in all my years of watching basketball. I
think that there's a part of me that wants Wmby to,
you know, get out to this incredibly early start and
what could be the greatest legacy in basketball history. I
truly believe he has goat potential. I don't even think

(28:12):
that's a hot take anymore. If if you're on the
other side of that, you're just a fucking hater, you
think otherwise, you know, Yeah, Yeah, And like I said,
I got a lot of love for the Knicks too.
I got a lot of you know, Twitter pals, you
know who who've been my homies since my my, my
nixt days, you know, rooting for always going to root
for that franchise and that fan base. But stories, storyline wise,
I'm rooting for I'm room for Wimby. I think I

(28:33):
think that's the better story of it here. But even then,
the Knicks winning their first championship in fucking what fifty
five years?

Speaker 6 (28:39):
Story two? You know, So I love the Knicks might
be my favorite fan base.

Speaker 5 (28:47):
Like I love their fan base, their funny, they take
their team very seriously, you know.

Speaker 6 (28:52):
What I mean. I think.

Speaker 5 (28:53):
I think like when the Knicks are good, then that
fan base is talking ship like basketball and in real
life on the internet everywhere is better, you know what
I'm saying. Uh, So I cannot. I cannot. I would
not be sad if the Knixt one, like you know
what I mean, Like I feel, like I said on
the last podcast, it's like, go basketball. That's why I met,

(29:15):
you know what I mean. I want to either team wins.
I'm gonna be just happy, you know what I mean.
But I feel like I was I tweeted about I
tweeted like this nigga wouldn't be gonna make me a
Spurs fan.

Speaker 6 (29:26):
You know what I'm saying?

Speaker 5 (29:27):
When he when he's when he uh, Tyler dropped the
Tyler dropped the video in the chat too as well,
talking about when we was like, I'm.

Speaker 6 (29:33):
Proud of you, you know what I mean? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
for sure.

Speaker 5 (29:37):
So like, I was like, this is gonna make me
a Spurs fan for really, and somebody said in the
in the comments, he was like, uh, he got the
Lebron effect.

Speaker 6 (29:44):
Nigga's gonna just be following him.

Speaker 5 (29:45):
They follow follow Lebron, and I kind of feel like
that he's gonna be a Spurs life for video. What
I'm saying though, like just like people go to people
in the root, they're a Spurs fan because they're Winby fans,
because of Spurs fans when we retired, they'll retire from
Spurs fandom too, you know, type ship, you know what
I mean. And so like I feel like I'm a
Winby fan. Like I mean, I like the Knicks. I'm

(30:07):
not necessarily a fan of the Knicks. I just like
the Knicks and I like when they're good, you know
what I mean. I like their fan base. I'm room
for having things for the fan base, you know what
I mean. But I'm a fan of Winby. So if
I'm rooting for somebody rooting for Wimby, but whoever wins,
I'm happy. Like I'm going to really just enjoy this
series and not feeling it. I don't think i'll feel
any like person way, but let let the Knicks get up,
you know too too, oh, or the series is two

(30:29):
two or some shit like that.

Speaker 6 (30:30):
I might be like, damn Winby.

Speaker 5 (30:33):
I might feel a way, you know, I might get
I might get more emotional and you know, more tapped
in with it. But yeah, I feel like I'll be
I think I'll be happy out this way.

Speaker 6 (30:42):
Yeah, I feel very very NBA fans.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
Win for NBA for sure.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
I as a Celtics fan, historically hate the Knicks and
their fans mostly not not like their fans as a
as a collective, mostly like individual fans who were talking
to me as Yeah, the the.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
Knicks fans sort of universe I think is awesome. But
this NIXT team is kind of winning me over a
little bit there.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
They're super fun and it feels because it feels like
it's not like before. I mean, they've had more or
less very similar version of this team last year, even
I know that they made the Cat and the Dante Trader,
but they've had a lot of the similar pieces.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
And since they've had this sort of nova Knicks and
go a little different, the system's a little different.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
They've had a lot of the same players though, and
It's always felt before this season that they have right,
that they have not lived up to the sum of
their parts, and this year it feels like the complete opposite.
It feels like they are way hot, way doing way
more than some of their individual parts. And that I
think is a testament to Mike Brown as a coach.
But it's also just a testament to Jalen Brunson. I mean,

(31:44):
I think Brunson is so underrated as the way he's
been so adaptable as a superstar. And also I was
talking about this with timph that him taking a discount
so that way they could sign, they would have more
money to put elsewhere, and it has allowed them to
get o Jananobi and mckill bridges.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
And do all these things.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
And the fact that it's really paying off now, I
think it's kind of an under discussed story, Like it's
it almost never happens that pro athletes actually do that
despite everyone wanting them to do that. It's usually only
like quarterbacks in their eighteenth year that are like, okay,
final take a little bit less or whatever. But it
Brunson did that earnestly and it absolutely pass paid off.

(32:26):
They they were able to use that money too, And
now they've gotten to the finals. It doesn't seem worth
it until this season, but now that they did it,
and it's just it's really impressive. And I think he
is just as a person as a player, so good
and so underrated.

Speaker 6 (32:39):
Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 4 (32:40):
And and that macal Bridges trade where they said, fuck
these draft picks, fuck these two thousand and thirty two
draft picks. We can win now, and and that fucking
roll first.

Speaker 6 (32:50):
I'm glad it worked out for sure, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 5 (32:52):
It shown up to Mike Brown, bro, you know what
I mean, Like I feel like he's got some you know,
some dell, some fucked up hands, you know what I'm saying,
over his time, you know, as a coach. But uh
like he finally got the right right group of people
to you know what I'm saying to really makes some shake.

Speaker 6 (33:07):
But he really switched it up for them, you know
what I mean. But yeah, shout to him too, man.

Speaker 1 (33:14):
Yeah, we will preview this series in a more serious
and earnest way and make we'll make our picks on
the Tuesday pot so Patreon dot com, Sat Jenkins and
Jones if you want to hear that, and here and
and get access to the pop where we have a
Knicks fan of our friend of ours on the show.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
But for now, dookie oot of.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
The week, Tyler, what's your key out of the week.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
Did y'all see the jay Z's performance at the Roots
Picnic with I don't see the performance had a pro Yeah? Yeah,
well you know, you know, I mean this is a
jay Z tradition where you know when he has performances
he just goes a cappella and just gives you bars
on where he's at and and he's private performance, no

(33:57):
Roots Picnic. Yeah yeah, yeah, it was like there was
like a private rehearsal Friday night, Saturday was was his performance.

Speaker 6 (34:05):
Bro, he went on that and he was shooting that moment.

Speaker 4 (34:08):
He shot at Drake, he shot at Kanye, he shot
at Dame Dash, he shot at NICKI Minaj, Like listen.

Speaker 6 (34:14):
He let wait what what he was?

Speaker 4 (34:16):
So he was this is like freestyles well not you
can tell it was written, but but different.

Speaker 5 (34:23):
Now, I don't mean he's off the top of the
dome in front of people. There was there was Yeah,
there was no beat a cappella. Jay Z just just
get some ship off and then that's what Jay Z
does you know for sure, like like state of the
Union addresses and ship, but yeah, not stated the Union
is hilarious.

Speaker 4 (34:41):
Yeah, but hey, look that motherfucker was letting it fly
like like like.

Speaker 6 (34:45):
Yeah, he was the ship.

Speaker 4 (34:46):
He said about Kanye about about you know your mother
motherfuckers act crazy until they get around me and then
they shrink like the whole shrink psychiatrist type yeah, yeah yeah,
and then sh but it's Dame Dash because he shot
at Dave Dash and said niggas got got their teeth
tumbling out their mouth talking. I thought it had to

(35:08):
be teeth, And Dave Dash shot back on his little
Instagram and like you know how Jay had the frog
he put like goofy at a fro his picture of ship.
But but Dame Dame is my dukie, just for how
far that dude has fallenah bro bro.

Speaker 6 (35:25):
Like he was.

Speaker 4 (35:26):
He was like the coolest asshole and rap at a
certain point in time, like like like Dame used to
talk his ship on Rockefeller Records and and and I
was like, Yo, this motherfucker he needs to go to
w W like he is a fucking supreme shit talker,
like like he really talks that ship and he was
and and of course you know, he was the you know,

(35:47):
one of the masterminds behind one of the greatest rap
le labels him jay Z and Big started Rockefeller, and
you know, can can never take away from how influential,
how important he is in rap history for that. But bro,
it's just just to see how salty that he's been
in the fall off where where you know, after Rockefeller
broke up and and and you know him and jay

(36:07):
Z had that you know, very kind of tense divorce
and Jay was shooting back, you know, in real time
when it was happening with the whole they said, niggas
made home, Okay, make another hole, Like you know what
I'm saying. He cooked right there, cooked right there. But bro,
it's just I don't know, I just I just can't
believe that a dude who was just so cool to me, like,

(36:27):
you know, twenty or so years ago, has fallen off
so terrible. I would have never seen it coming for
Dame like it's been going.

Speaker 5 (36:33):
For Usually, when somebody's an asshole to the level that
Dame is, like, you don't fuck with him, you know
what I mean, Like when you were like because he
was but it was he was so funny and like charismatic,
you know what I mean, and like and he was
it seemed like where he was regardless of how you felt,
the ship was facts nigga.

Speaker 4 (36:53):
You know, yeah, there was always truth in what he
was saying when he was an asshole mode.

Speaker 5 (36:57):
Yes, and so like it was like you a certain respect,
you know what I mean. He gave us, Uh what's
what's the movie tripping?

Speaker 6 (37:05):
You know I'm talking.

Speaker 4 (37:06):
About, uh, state property, not state property, paid the full, paidful.

Speaker 6 (37:11):
Pain, the ful like like he had Like it seems
like he had like the mightyst touched nigga. You know
what I'm saying, Like.

Speaker 5 (37:19):
Got with Cam Camp through the roof, you know what
I'm saying, Kanye through the roof, you know what I mean,
Like I just feel like, yeah, I mean, it was
just it just seemed like he could do no wrong,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 6 (37:29):
And uh, it's it has been rough.

Speaker 5 (37:32):
You know, seeing him just completely fall the fuck off, nigga.
Like it seemed like you know, Jay Left called him out,
said make another wolf, you know what I'm saying. And
he's just never healed since that's there's been a gaping
wound that's never healed and he just hasn't has it,
you know, seemed like made a good decision since man
he also had was it DD It was like DD

(37:53):
one seventy two? What was that he with currency like yeah, yeah, yeah,
it was like a great yeah it was. It was
I mean a creative control he wants up. Yeah, I
mean big, like a huge catalyst in the blog era.
You feel me, like catapult the currency uhh.

Speaker 6 (38:12):
When like you know, cash money.

Speaker 5 (38:14):
And no Limit had kind of like hid currency, you
know what I mean, we didn't really seeing much. I
mean he gave his.

Speaker 4 (38:21):
Homie Ski Beats, who was like an instrumental producer in
Rockefeller's early days, gave him new life during during that
stage in his career and had a producer ship for
Currency and installing and all them.

Speaker 6 (38:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (38:30):
Yeah, even if even the producers behind creative control, like
the director's producers, like they're now they're doing like documenteds.

Speaker 6 (38:36):
For Netflix and ship like that, you know what I'm saying,
like h and Amazon.

Speaker 5 (38:40):
So he's been behind a lot of the people that
have created amazing ship in the space.

Speaker 6 (38:44):
But it's like, you know, his his fall.

Speaker 5 (38:47):
Off is just shot, Like like Tyler said, it just
shocking crazy. Yeah, Dan sent me, I can't believe we
used to talk about that ship all the time.

Speaker 6 (38:55):
Man created Control was like a creative space in the
Yeah I remember, yeah that what was it the life
under the School video when when he was at that studio.

Speaker 5 (39:04):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the one too. But then also
when we first heard Krit Boobie Miles, Yeah, oh that's
Boobie Miles.

Speaker 6 (39:12):
That that video that was beat.

Speaker 5 (39:13):
That was credit Control D one seventy two. That was
that was the same the same creative group. So he
was behind like like we do we know who Krit
was and and and what was it?

Speaker 6 (39:22):
Like two fourteen? Krit was like that nigga bro like insane, insane, like.

Speaker 5 (39:29):
What he's been what these people he's touched you know
what I'm saying, or been a part of, you know,
being successful.

Speaker 6 (39:35):
But yeah, man, that fall off is whoa like you?
Like you said, Tyler, never never would have thought.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
That, never would have thought that bro for show for
shure my dookie, but of the Week is myself, which
is code on this show for when you forget.

Speaker 6 (39:49):
The dukie butt of the week and you have to
come up with the dukie better of the week.

Speaker 1 (39:52):
But mineus myself, because I don't know if you guys
ever run into this type of like TikTok or Instagram
reel if forever, just like scrolling where it's someone like
recommending music. People say oh, here's five artists that you
haven't heard of it but you should know or whatever, right,
So I get those every once in a while, and
the duke the dukie butt is me because the dopamine
hit that I get when I come on one of

(40:14):
those music recommendations. It's like, Oh, these underground songs or
underground arists you haven't heard of and I know one
of them already.

Speaker 6 (40:19):
Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (40:20):
I feel like I feel like a god. I have
no idea if these people have good music taste. I
have no idea who these these internet strangers are who
are recommending their music.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
But I'm like, oh, yeah, I know that you guys
don't know this song. This is that secret for us,
real for real music kids.

Speaker 6 (40:38):
Kidding me.

Speaker 7 (40:40):
And the the embarrassment that I feel after the fact,
where I'm like, wow, why do I Why am I
like swelling with pride right now that I know this
song that a stranger who I've never seen before the
Internet is recommending.

Speaker 2 (40:51):
But that's why I'm the.

Speaker 3 (40:52):
Dukiebitter of the week in a week that I forgot
to come up with the Duke of all.

Speaker 6 (40:56):
Good Man, you've been working too hard, bro?

Speaker 2 (40:59):
Yeah so John who is here?

Speaker 3 (41:01):
Dickie Bittter the weak to close this out here?

Speaker 6 (41:02):
I sent y'all a video earlier.

Speaker 5 (41:05):
There's people buying muscle suits to wear under their clothes
to look like they have muscles.

Speaker 6 (41:12):
Brother, we have lost our way. We're cooked. It's over with, bro.
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (41:18):
Niggas out here with and with this shirt, just you
can play it. He got the biceps, the pecs, abs,
nigga back muscles, lots lots like.

Speaker 6 (41:35):
Get the gym. What happened? A hard work man? Patience nigga?
You know every all this we we we do anything
for convenience. Nigga.

Speaker 8 (41:43):
You lift your shirt up and your your and your
fake boss up, pop out your cook What happens when
you if you crack? If the ship go how you
wanted to, you might crack first night, nigga.

Speaker 6 (41:54):
Motherfucker's grown ups. Ain't no judgement here. You're gonna take
your motherfucking muscles off with the T shirt. Brow right right,
or even I think even worse than as keep me
your shirt on? Why you're fucking like a fat nigga
at the pool You're trying to hide your tennies bag.

(42:20):
This is crazy. There's nothing nothing respectable about any of that.

Speaker 5 (42:25):
I think a lot of what we're doing right now, period,
it's just people just convenience at all costs, and it's
ruining humanity, bro, It's ruining society.

Speaker 7 (42:34):
You know.

Speaker 5 (42:34):
But this is just a small you know what I'm saying. Uh,
you know, microcosm of a bigger issue.

Speaker 4 (42:39):
You feel me the abs that that are on there
that you can see through the shirt of od whin
the fucking even if you got a six pack?

Speaker 6 (42:45):
Who your six pack? Do your T shirt? Bro?

Speaker 5 (42:48):
Like?

Speaker 6 (42:48):
What do we doing? The nigga talking about? Look at
the wind hitting the.

Speaker 5 (42:54):
Ship man? Come on, man, you know what I mean? Like,
it's just too nasty, y'all here, it's too nasty. I
saw I was listening to listen to a pod uh
on the way down to Cerritoso.

Speaker 6 (43:06):
Me and the family were down.

Speaker 9 (43:08):
My little uh was uh she would be my sister
niece in law. I think that's what Yeah, at least
and all she's turning one.

Speaker 5 (43:19):
She turned one today, and so we went down to
celebrate a birthday and we listened to a pot and
the pot was about happiness, and it's like all that,
like what what Really? It's like uh me and Rother
can remember the fucking words ones like uh uh hedonic,
which is like, you know, hedonistic happiness, where you are

(43:40):
happy from things like the good sex, you feel me
like buying something, which is you know, things that we
we we all kind of need that, you know, I mean.

Speaker 6 (43:48):
And then there's like it was egelmonic or something like
that we did.

Speaker 5 (43:52):
We couldn't remember the exact word, but this was this
was like from purpose you feel me and so like.
But like, because of how the world is created now,
also we don't have like social safety nets and things
like that, it's really hard to exist in those ways.
Like if you're looking at uh, if you're looking at
like other other societies like like uh, was it Nordic

(44:16):
or some shit like that where they have social safety nets.
So even if you make a lot of money, you
can get taxed so much, so you might as well
just do what you love.

Speaker 6 (44:24):
There's there's ways to you know.

Speaker 5 (44:27):
It kind of forces you into doing things for you know,
your your own like you know, the things that you
you would enjoy for your own enjoyment. But the way
we exist and how like how our society is set up,
it's not made for us to you know, really were
made to over index on the uh hedonic type of happiness,

(44:48):
which is not the If there's two ways, like Aristotle
on autum shows, choose the other one the purpose.

Speaker 6 (44:56):
Yeah, for sure, like a drug, you know what I mean,
like the quick note eat here.

Speaker 5 (45:00):
So it's but you're supposed to be you know, probably
go to purpose route and then you know, get you know,
have you a good fuck session to you know, get
get that junk from me here.

Speaker 6 (45:09):
You feel yeah, a little both, you know what I'm saying.
But uh yeah, bro, Like I just feel like the
way the way the.

Speaker 5 (45:16):
World's set up right now is so fucking cooked at
ai to all of that.

Speaker 6 (45:21):
Man, it gets really nasty out here.

Speaker 8 (45:22):
Man.

Speaker 6 (45:23):
And even said like I think we smile.

Speaker 5 (45:26):
Thirty percent less than each other because we're all looking
at our phones.

Speaker 6 (45:30):
Damn.

Speaker 5 (45:31):
That's how kids included my nigga, Like in our homes,
we're on phones, and so I'm following my kids thirty
percent lesson on my heads and it makes you think
totally different, like like uh and and how does that
affect the child long term?

Speaker 6 (45:46):
You feel me? It's just I don't know, I don't
want to. I was just playing on anything. On muscles,
I got the world, you know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (45:55):
But yeah, yeah, fuck the muscles, nigga, Fuck ai nigga.

Speaker 6 (46:00):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (46:01):
And then you know other bullshit as well, bro funk
not having a social safety nets as well.

Speaker 6 (46:08):
Anyway, big facts.

Speaker 2 (46:09):
Before we get out of here.

Speaker 1 (46:10):
Apocalypse Rowse said, you reckon check and wear that muscle
t shirt in a game when he gets to guard victim.

Speaker 6 (46:17):
You might not help with the lack of nuts.

Speaker 2 (46:20):
And they have one that I guess they got a
different on what.

Speaker 6 (46:23):
He's missing them. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. Gotta
yata that's this heart baby, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (46:29):
