Speaker 1 (00:00):
Can't. I am sixty. You're listening to the John Cobelt
podcast on the iHeartRadio app Welcome moren every day from
three to six, and then Conway's on from six to ten,
and our podcast gets released shortly after six o'clock. It's
John Cobelt. What is what's it called John Cobelt Show
on demand? That's right, we released that after six. It's
(00:21):
the same as the radio show. Hillary and Bill Clinton
have to testify in an under oath and a closed
door deposition hearing before the House Oversight Committee on just
how well they knew Jeffrey Epstein and his friends. And
we're going to talk now with Sudsha Kochie. She's the
(00:44):
congressional reporter at the Hill dot com because the the
deposition was stopped for a time because somebody took a
photo of Hillary during the deposition and then sent it
out over over the internet on X and that's somebody
(01:05):
is a member of Congress. Let's talk to Sudicsha Kochie.
How are you?
Speaker 2 (01:11):
I'm Jinglaul, how are you?
Speaker 1 (01:12):
I'm fine? What happened today?
Speaker 3 (01:15):
Yeah, so today was a very very hectic day for
the Clintons, specifically for Hillary Clinton. So former Secretary of
State Hillary Clinton had told the House Oversight and Government
Reform Committee in a deposition today that she had no
information about the chronal activities of convicted sex offender Jeffrey
(01:36):
Epstein and his associate. She said that she's never encountered Epstein,
never flew on his plane, never visited his island or offices.
And so that was her opening statement to the House
Oversight Committee. And after the interview, she told reporters that
she answered every one of their questions as fully as
she could. So the questions were repetitive, and again she
(01:59):
repeated she's never met Jeffrey Epstein. And so the deposition
I do want to know comes after, you know, Hillary
Clinton and also former President Clinton had you know, uh,
we're trying to avoid being held in contempt of Congress
for defying a congressional subpoena. So they had two scheduled depositions,
(02:22):
they had not shown up for those depositions, and you know,
a House Oversight Committee chair James Comar was ready to
hold them in contempt of Congress, and in order to
avoid that, they're now giving these depositions. And so this
was you know, again Hillary Clinton had repeated several times
throughout the deposition that she had no information about Epstein. Now,
(02:43):
one thing I do want to know about that picture
that you had mentioned, That picture did come from Representative
Warren Bobert. The panel had to stop for a few
minutes because conservative influencer Benny Johnson had posted a photo
of Clinton in the dept position on social media and
he said it came from bober until Clinton adviser told
(03:05):
the press that the hearing was paused because of the photo,
which he said was in violation of the rules read
at the start of the deposition, and so there was
a little bit of drama there with that, but overall,
I think the rest of the deposition had went pretty smoothly.
You know, both sides had said she had answered all
of the questions. And you know, one thing that she
(03:27):
also did know is that she kind of tore in
her opening statement into the House Overside Committee for doing
for not doing more to ensure the defiles related to
Epstein were released. And she also called on the House
Overside Committee to invite Trump to testify before the panel.
And so that was another part of her opening statement
(03:48):
that I thought was notable.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah, now Bill is going to testify. Is that happening
today or is that going to be tomorrow?
Speaker 3 (03:56):
Yes, that will be happening tomorrow. And so that I think,
will you know, be a little bit different because there
have been some photos released that show Epstein uh standing
you know near former President Bill Clinton, who I think
his deposition will go a little bit differently than former
deepictors state Hillary Clinton's went today, but his deposition will
(04:16):
be happening tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Do you know if she was asked whether she knew
about her husband running around with Jeffrey Epstein as much
as he was.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Yeah. So so this deposition, you know, was a closed
door hearing, so we didn't get like any of the
details on specifically what question she was asked.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
But one thing I do want to know is that
you know, uh, James Comer had said the interview had
been very productive. He said he thinks he learned a
lot during the deposition, and he added that he did
have some questions involving the Clinton Global Initiative, and Clinton
ended up telling lawmakers, you know, you have to ask
my husband. And so I think a lot of the
(05:02):
deposition today how many times in her life she.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Had to say that, yeah, you have to ask my husband.
I don't know about the foundation and the plane rides
and the girls in the island. You gotta ask him.
I don't know anything, right, And.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
So I feel like a lot of the deposition that
happened today and a lot of the questions that were
asked ro mainly focused, you know, on herman could have
asked questions about Bill Clinton, but I think she mainly
might have just said, you know, to refer to his deposition,
which is happening tomorrow. I'm also in New York, and so, yeah,
that is one notable part of uh, you know what
(05:39):
James Comer had said after the deposition.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Right right, Because I mean, she's claiming she knew nothing right,
didn't know him, had she did she admit to ever
meeting him, or she claiming she never met him.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
She said that she had no idea about their criminal activities,
never encountered Epstein at all, really, never flew on his plane. Yeah,
she said she never recalled ever encountering him, never flew
on a plane, never visited his islander offices, and so
she was very clear that she has never met the dude,
never encountered him, never had any interactions with him.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
I think the last person you want on a plane.
If you're having a boys trip with a bunch of
teenage girls, you don't want Hillary Clinton with you. So
I believe that sounds very likely. All right, Well, Dicha
rather thank you very much for coming on.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
Of course, thank you so much for having me.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
Dia Coachy, congressional reporter at the Hill dot Com. Yeah,
that would be a that would be a that would
not be a good mix there. Huh Right, you got
a plane full of teenage girls, you got a private island,
you got all your sleazy buddies on board. You got
to right, Hillary Clinton. I don't know that's gonna be
(06:54):
a buzzkiller for all those perverts. However, Hillary, there was
one one, little Glayne Maxwell was at Chelsea's wedding, and
nobody could understand that. If she really didn't know these people,
then how does Glaine Maxwell end up at the wedding
and a British reporter. I noticed British reporters ask much
(07:16):
more aggressive, pointed questions than neutered American reporters. If you
remember the guy from I think Sky News who chased
after Karen Bass coming off the plane from Africa and
how pointed and persistent he was, and you don't see
any LA reporters acting like that. Well, we got a
(07:37):
short clip because Hillary did a brief media appearance, and
this British reporter had a particular line of questioning, and
I asked, why was Colleen Maxwell.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
The boss at Chelsea Prinston's wedding in two thousand and seven.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
She'd already been mentioned in a civil lawsuit by for
Junior jew Free Before that, Jeffrey Amstein called anything contrictore.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
She came as the plus one, the guest of someone
who was invited.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
Thank you all, okay, thank you everybody? Wait, plus one?
Who's the plus one? Well, Galline Maxwell was the plus
one of some other mystery guest at Chelsea's wedding. Who's
that mystery guest? I don't know. I guess everybody started
shouting that, and she goes, Okay, that's not for gotta
run because you know, yeah, but you have a wedding
(08:32):
when you're when when you're at that level of fame
and power and money like the Clintons are, your guest
list is very specific, like Glen Maxwell just doesn't sneak
in through the back door. And what the reporter said
was right. She'd already come up, her name had come
up at investigations, and Epstein had already been convicted the
(08:53):
first time. So how does she get in without somebody
saying I don't think so.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
No.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Uh, well, we're gonna Bill's gonna be testifying tomorrow. All right,
more coming up.
Speaker 5 (09:05):
You're listening to John Cobelt on demand from KFI AM
six forty.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
You can follow us at John Cobelt Radio on social
media at John Cobelt Radio. And you subscribe to our
videos on YouTube YouTube dot com slash at John Cobelt's
show YouTube dot com slash at John Cobelt Show. We
just passed the four thousand subscriber mark and when you subscribe,
you will get a notification or a warning that there's
(09:33):
a new video out and you should watch it. Boy,
the corruption is so bad. There's even some cops that
are stealing money. Jay about this one. Listen to this story.
There's an LA police officer. His name is Christopher Carnahan.
(09:53):
It's forty three years old, and he claimed that he
injured his left elbow while work in May of twenty
twenty three. I don't know specifically how he hurt the elbow,
but he got on total temporary disability status and if
(10:16):
you get that, you get one hundred percent of your
base salary tax free for a year and two thirds
of the salary afterwards if the injury persists. Well, this
must have been one bad elbow because this went on
for over two years and finally he got arrested. It
(10:40):
turns out they caught him skydiving multiple times in Lake
Elsinore with that he was hurt so badly he went
multiple times and now he's being charged with felony insurance fraud.
They also found him working out at a fitness center.
(11:04):
Let's say he exaggerated the injury a bit, and he
was actually taken off to jail and he's being held
in the lieu of one hundred thousand dollars bail and
he's going to be arraigned down the road. This was
so egregious that Nathan Hockman, the LADA, he released a statement,
this case is about honesty and accountability. Claiming to be
temporarily totally disabled and collecting benefits intended for injured workers
(11:30):
is a crime, and this officer knows the law and
understands the standards. He's sworn to uphealth. He's not the
only one though. It's in December, there was a CHP officer.
He was sentenced to nine months in county jail. He
lied about an injury to claim medical retirement. In May,
a Westminster police officer charged with fifteen felonies. This is
(11:55):
a woman workers comp claim and they found that she
was going skill. She was going to Disneyland and she
was partying at the Stagecoach Music Festival while on disability leave.
Oh wait, there's more. In august an LA County Fire
Department captain who was charged with four felony charges. They
said he faked a work injury and he forged doctor's
(12:18):
notes and claimed thousands of dollars in disability payments. Well,
these are all sworn officers in uniform. But Christopher Carnahan
going skydiving. I you know, the cops should be aware
that that work gets around when people see you partying
(12:40):
and everybody puts their life on uh. I bet you
all these people put there, put their photos on social media,
or you start talking too much, or somebody sees you,
and they have plenty of investigators looking to go go
for this stuff. And now you know now that we
got Nathan Hawkman, people get charged. Oh, here's a really
(13:03):
bad idea. Carl Demyele is put out the warning. According
to a new proposal in the legislature, California Democrats want
to take over California's entire healthcare system. And this is true.
(13:26):
They want to ban private insurance and they are going
to have to impose a five hundred billion dollar tax
across the state. And this is the single payer form
of health care insurance. And that's a jargony term. That's
a bureaucratic term. You know what that is. That means
(13:50):
the government pays all the bills. All the bills go
to the government. The government pays the bills. And you're saying, well,
how's that going to work, Well, this is where the
five hundred billillion dollars worth of taxes is going to
come from. And they put this out every few years.
They did it in twenty seventeen, they did it in
(14:10):
twenty twenty two. It was called the Guaranteed Healthcare for
all state run healthcare. It would there'd have to be
a two point three percent excise tax on businesses after
their first two million in income, not in profit, but
on income. There'd be a payroll tax on employers one
and a quarter percent. If you have fifty or more,
(14:33):
there'd be an extra one percent payroll tax on you,
the employee. If you earn more than about fifty thousand dollars,
then there would be a progressive income tax on a household.
Oh oh, they'd be adding to the income tax. Do
you know the top rate of income tax is now
fourteen point four percent. They're going to add even more.
(14:57):
You'd pay an extra half percent income tax if you
earn more than one hundred and fifty thousand, which is
middle class in California. It's going to go up to
two and a half percent for people making households making
two and a half million dollars. Oh my god. So
the top tax rate is going to be seventeen percent.
(15:20):
And Carl Miis says, you had all those taxes up,
it's still not going to be well enough. You see
how badly run everything is. Right, look at the thirty
seven billion dollars that Newsome got for homeless taxes more homeless,
eighteen billion dollars for high speed rail. No high speed rail.
(15:45):
He got unlimited money from the federal government to cover
COVID unemployment and thirty three billion went overseas to criminals.
Can you imagine if they got five hundred billion dollars
and they're supposed to pay all our healthcare bills? Can
you can you imagine the corruption? It is mine? But
they put out they put out these bills anyway because
(16:08):
they're looking for a new source of money to steal. Anybody,
anybody who listens to these people for you know, for
even fifteen seconds, you're out of your mind. Don't listen
to all their nonsense about affordable health care and single
payer healthcare and you know this will be better and
(16:28):
this will be cheaper, and it's like, no, no, no, no,
they're gonna get a five hundred billion dollar revenue river
and they're all gonna scoop They're gonna scoop up as
much as they can, and they're gonna run off with
it because they're criminals and thieves. That's who serves us
in Sacramento. Don't don't. Don't fall for this, like you
(16:50):
fall for the homeless taxes, like you fall for the
high speed rail nonsense. Do not do not agree to this.
Oh you're we're going to be see nurses screaming naked
out into the streets and they're gonna be saying the
children are dying and women are being tortured and this
and that. No, no, no, that's all an emotional, manipulative
(17:11):
cover for everybody just wanting to steal the five hundred
billion dollars. And you know this, because that's all that's
going on. Now, all right, we've got more coming up.
Speaker 5 (17:21):
You're listening to John Cobels on demand from KFI AM
six forty.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
We are on from three until six and then after
six o'clock John Cobelt Show on Demand and that is
the podcast and it's the same as the radio show,
and that's where you listen to whatever you missed. And
you listened to the first hour podcast and we had
Jennifer Van Lauren. She's the managing editor of RedState dot
com and she had a lot of fascinating information about
(17:50):
Alberta Carvallo maybe blowing up his whole career because maybe
he got greedy, he got involved with an AI chatbot
company and there's something dirty about it because the FBI
raided his house and raided his office. This is the
superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District and there's
(18:11):
apparently was he there was a deal where LAUSD paid
six million dollars to this company that had ed the
chatbot ed and it's a it's a turning into a
sordid story. They're supposedly a meeting this afternoon from the
LAUSD on what they're going to do about Corvala, at
least in the short term. I haven't heard about an
(18:33):
outcome of that meeting. You would think at least they
would put him on leave with pay, right, that's usually
the punishment. But you know, he's had a very very
sketchy career and it was papered over with a lot
of nonsense BS accomplishments and a lot of nonsense awards.
I mean, the guy started out his life as you know,
(18:56):
illegal alien. We'll talk more about that next hour. It's
just crazy. Also, next hour we're gonna have Brian Jones on.
Brian Jones's state Senator and this is something we're gonna
increasingly give a lot of attention to. This is one
of the worst situations I have seen in years. This
(19:20):
is David Allen Funston. Did you hear about him yesterday?
Even if you did, you got to listen to these details.
Everybody needs to memorize these details, and you ought to
tell everybody you know, and this is something to write
about on social media. What you should be well aware
of is in a short amount of time, David Allen
(19:41):
Funston is going to be walking free in the state
of California, even after getting convicted of sixteen counts of kidnapping,
beating children, raping children. We're not talking one or two
or three. It was eight children. And these aren't teenagers.
(20:08):
These aren't even ten year olds or nine year olds
or eight year olds. No, No, these are eight children
ranging from ages three to seven. And he kidnapped them,
beat some of them, raped some of them. Yeah, sixteen,
sixteen felonies. He'd lure them in with barbie dolls and candy.
(20:34):
Eight children that he raped, seven girls and one boy.
He even took a five year old immigrant girl who
didn't speak much English, and he grabbed her and sexually
assaulted her, raped her, and then threw her on the
side of the road fifty miles from her house out
(20:58):
in a rural area. And Gavin Newsom signed a bill
Assembly Bill thirty two thirty four in twenty twenty. This
was snuck in during the COVID lockdown when nobody was
paying attention. It was written by some weirdo, another one
from San Francisco. San Francisco produces a lot of legislators
(21:24):
who write sexually perverse laws, and Phil Ting was one
of them. Usually Scott Wiener handles the sexual perversity loss,
but Ting got this one in. And this one was
disguised as an elderly parole program. Now when you hear
elderly parole, you think a guy eighty eighty five, ninety
(21:47):
years old and he can't walk anymore, and he's got dementia,
and you know, why are we paying for him. Let's
just send him home. Let him sit in a nursing
home right now. Now, if you're fifty years old and
you've served twenty years, you can go free. And they do.
(22:10):
And Funston is a perfect example. And Newsom tried to
slither out of this. He and his lying spokesholes are
trying to say, well, no, no, he's a gotch this.
You know, he set this back to the parole board.
He doesn't have any power to stop it. It's like whoa, whoa, whoa,
(22:31):
you lying squealing bastard, you, you and all your snarky
twerps in your press office. You sign the bill. You
sign the bill in twenty twenty. I've seen the document
with his signature on it where he affirmed that he's
signing it. He knew because he was told this bill
(22:55):
was criticized at the time. Hey, you're going to be
letting out some really horrible people. And he didn't care
because trust me, and you'll see this as he goes
on the national stage. If you don't believe me, God
help you. If you're still enamored with this guy, well
let's say you are. You seem to have some kind
of an affliction. He is a cold hearted psychopath. He
carries no guilt and no remorse. You cannot embarrass him,
(23:19):
you cannot shame him. He doesn't have an ounce of
regret in his soul because he doesn't have a soul.
I'm asking you. You be governor for the day and
you're given a bill and you go, well, what's this. Wow,
this is gonna get let elderly prisoners out? Well, what's
elderly fifty fifty? Even if they're sentenced to life terms
(23:47):
like this guy was. This guy had three terms of
twenty five to life. He can get out after twenty
years at the age of fifty. Now, what would you do?
You wouldn't sign it. Then they tell you, well, yeah,
sex molesters can be released, Guys who rape children, guys
who rape eight children after beating them and kidnapping them. Well,
(24:12):
how old are the children? Oh, three, four or five?
Six years old? Yeah, yeah, sure, I'll sign.
Speaker 5 (24:18):
You imagine this.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
He signs the bill and now he goes, oh, I'm againstition.
I just agree with this. Oh no, wait, wait, he's
such a coward. He has his slighty little spokesholes in
his press offers office. They take a break from doing
their silly imitations of Trump tweets and they say, well,
the governor was against this, and he told the parole
boars like, okay, you signed the bill. You were told
(24:45):
this stuff was going to happen. And by the way,
you don't see he has spent the last week doing
embarrassing book signing appearances, talking about himself incessantly. I don't
want to hear about his childhood. I don't want to
hear that he grew up poor when he was at
his mom's house, but he was very, very wealthy and
(25:07):
hung out with the Getties when he was at his
dad's house. I don't care. All I know he was
presented with a bill that is letting David Allen Funston
out free after he raped. And I hate to be
labor this. Not one, not two, not three, not four,
not five, not six, not seven, but eight little children
(25:27):
aged seven and under, as young as three out and
out rapes, beatings, kidnappings, luring them with kit And he
signed the bill after he was told don't do this.
Well he did it. And I don't care how many snarky, silly,
(25:49):
stupid spokesholes he has in that press department can't erase
this stain. And noticed he doesn't spend any time publicly
holding press conferences. First of all, you had to apologize
for it. Second of all, he ought to put as
much pressure as possible to get this thing reversed. All
the people on the parole board who voted to release him,
(26:09):
all of them were appointed by Gavin Newsom, every one
of them. And this case has been bouncing around now
for months because they approved the parole and then it
went back from a panel to a full vote, got
approved the second time, and the Governor's going there's nothing
(26:30):
I can do about it. Or at least his weirdo
perverse press office staff. But this is the truth. We're
gonna talk of Brian Jones coming up. Brian is a
state senator and he's the one who released the paperwork
proving that Newsom really did sign the bill. And he
(26:51):
has introduced legislation to make people convicted of certain sex
crimes totally ineligible. But guess what that bill died in
committed because the Democrats run the committee and a Democrat,
a woman named Stephanie Winn from Elk Grove, introduced legislation
last year that would have least returned it to twenty
seventeen standards. You have to be sixty and twenty five
(27:15):
years served. Of course, this bastard would still qualify anyway.
St Center Brian Jones is going to come up after
five o'clock and we're going to delve into this and
we're going to keep on top of this because I
don't know how Newsom gets up in the morning knowing
that after that guy raped all those children, Newsom is
(27:38):
letting him go free. I don't know how he does that.
And I want to see when the rest of these
lazy head up their asses or head up Newsom's ass
press scops is going to start chasing him around with
this stuff. Let this be his presidential campaign. Let him
run on this.
Speaker 5 (27:59):
You're listening to John Cobels on demand from KFI A six.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
As I said, we're going to have a state Senator
Brian Jones on to talk about the impending release of
this disgusting kidnapper rapist David Allen Funston, which who knew
some facilitated his release by signing an elderly parole bill
so guys can get out at the age of fifty.
(28:25):
They're declared elderly if they've served twenty years. I'll read
you some quotes later from the sheriff in Sacramento County,
Jim Cooper. He's blown up. Let me tell you this
is the age to be a sex offender, to be
a perverted sex criminal in California, because not only do
you have the governor releasing David Allen Funston, but now
(28:50):
you have a registered sex defender running for Fresno City Council.
And we go to Fresno reporter for ABC Channel thirty
Reset Cologne to do this report.
Speaker 6 (29:03):
Well, I believe Fresno deserves the leaders that are honest
from the very beginning, not the end. So going into this,
I am putting my life out there.
Speaker 7 (29:12):
Upfront about his status as a registered sex offender. Renee
compos is not running from his past as he runs
for office.
Speaker 6 (29:21):
I've been giving the chance to rehabilitate through the courts
and back into the system.
Speaker 7 (29:25):
Charged with being in possession of child sex abuse material
back in twenty eighteen, the Frosno native says he pled
no contest to a misdemeanor charge. Now launching his campaign
to represent District seven on the Frosnow City Council, he
says his focus is on safety.
Speaker 6 (29:41):
Oh I say, let's choose somebody outside the box, somebody
who knows the system from inside out, because me, I've
experienced the laws that we are trying to reform right now.
Speaker 7 (29:53):
Fresno County Clerk and Registrar Voters James Coos says state
law does not prevent a registered sex offender from run
for office.
Speaker 4 (30:01):
Once you leave prison you're on probation, you actually are
allowed in California to reapply and become a registered voter again,
which would then make you eligible to be able to
run as long as you are living in the proper jurisdiction.
Speaker 7 (30:14):
Compos looks to enter a growing field of people vying
for the seat. Another candidate says he shouldn't join the race.
Speaker 8 (30:22):
I think it should be a disqualifier to serve in
public office. If I'm the next council member in District
seventy and I catch you up at a school site,
how can I best represent the people in the neighborhood?
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Don't want to serve.
Speaker 7 (30:32):
Each candidate brings a different background and focus to the race.
Aj rouss Omni says homelessness is his priority.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
I never thought I'm going to be in politics.
Speaker 8 (30:42):
However, I'm a business owner, I'm a community advocate, and
I'm the problem solver now.
Speaker 7 (30:48):
Germ, endorsed by Mayor Jerry Dyer and the Firefighters Union,
says he represents the next generation of leadership.
Speaker 8 (30:55):
There's a lot of basic amenities our neighborhoods deserve and
quite frankly need, and that's.
Speaker 7 (30:59):
Why Arianna Martinez Lott, a mother, is calling for more
investment in neighborhoods.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
I don't have political aspirations.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
I am running to continue the work that we have
been doing here locally as residents in our city.
Speaker 7 (31:12):
COMPOS has not yet filed for the office. He and
the other candidates have until the sixth to submit their paperwork.
The primary election is the first Tuesday in June.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
So that is Fresno reporter Brisa Cologne from ABC thirty.
So Campos was charged possession of child sex abuse material?
What is that? Is his child born? He had? He
had videos on his phone? Did he have dirty magazines materials?
(31:45):
I mean, he's got implements tools? What is this? It's
not true that Gavin Newsom endorsed them already, is it. No,
that's a bad rumor. This guy pleaded no contest to
miss to me, and no contest is like a guilty play.
