(00:22):
Wake Up the Morning Line. Oh on a Wednesday, now
January and this is the Morning Line. I'm Joe Nary.
Thank you very much for stopping by making us a
part of your day as we get you caught up

(00:43):
with everything that happened overnight in the world of sports. Plus,
we'll take a look at the day ahead, a day
which will include um, some great college basketball action, not
to mention hardwood back on the n b A some
NHL gonna go ahead and get back into it after
the the All Star break here over the weekend in St. Louis,

(01:05):
they're back on the ice tonight. So much to get
to uh here, and let us not forget Sunday, We've
got ourselves a pretty decent football game, final football game
of the year to watch, that being between the Kansas
City Chiefs and the San Francisco forty Niners. As they
have descended, so have the fan bases in fact, uh

(01:29):
In and around South Florida. Really starting to see the
contingency of forty Niner fans starting to show up now,
a lot of forty Niner faithful, a lot of forty
Niner gear starting to pop up in the streets here
of Miami. Certainly driving you can people are decking out
their cars coming in and Kansas City has been here

(01:49):
their fan base for a little while as well, So
it's really starting to come together. And of course it
is overrun by members of the media here in South Florida.
As that continues, Radio Row and others continue here as
we march along, getting ready to go Sunday. Teams Bowl

(02:09):
teams in fact, will actually be able to practice today,
get back on the field, and they will they'll have
an opportunity to put the final touches on their game
plans and get ready for kickoff on Super Bowl fifty four.
Hard Rock Stadium. Weather so far in the forecast looks
like it's going to be absolutely beautiful, which means that

(02:33):
you me and the rest of the betting community, we
are going to need to start to uh, to start
really breaking down some of these prop bets and our
method behind the madness, and how we are going to
go about not only betting the game itself, but how
are we going to correlate our bets uh to fit
that mold and to fit that plan. So we do, have,

(02:56):
of course, some suggestions for you coming up some tips
about out prop betting for the big game. Here the
super Bowl will pass those along to you. We'll give
you a idea of some of the some of the
smarter play, some of the some of the history of
some of these prop bets, and what past Super Bowls
have have taught us about this, uh, this Sunday game

(03:18):
and how to go ahead and make sure it is
a profitable Sunday. I mean, listen, while it's great to
chip in twenty bucks, fifty buck hunter bocks, whatever it
may be for the Super Bowl boxes at your work,
and and uh, of course about any parties that you're doing.
While that is all great, and I would highly suggest
you get involved with those types of things because it

(03:40):
always does make it fun to watch, especially if you
haven't followed football very much. But from a betting perspective,
there's a lot of there's a lot of other bets
that will give you a much better percentage of actually
winning and profiting on Sunday than hopefully the two numbers

(04:01):
that you randomly get drawn out of a hat will
end up providing you so much to get into new
golf tournament, getting ready the Phoenix Open, getting ready to
take center stage this week. We actually won the tournament
last week in uh, you know, in Tory Pines. That
was great. One of our one of our guys, one
of the five guys that we picked last week, actually

(04:23):
one Mark leismand uh finished to one is what I
had him at forty five to one. He shot a
sixty five on Sunday to eke out John Ram and
win by one stroke. And of course catching a forty
five the one ticket. For those of you that might
have tailed and followed us boat, that was a big
pay day in the world of golf, believe it or not.

(04:46):
And those of you that might be new to the
show here, you know that we are a big golf fans.
He love betting on golf. It it provides us a
very unique opportunity a lot of different ways to a
ac profiting in golf. Betting and jet not just the
overall tournament winner, but head to head matchups and each

(05:08):
day not only tournaments. Uh, you know, prior Thursday and
Friday versus Saturday and Sunday. Who makes the cut, who doesn't,
great opportunities, a lot of fun makes golf a whole different,
a whole different approach to the game of golf. For
those of you that say, oh, golf's terably, it's boring, Well,
I'll tell you what. You hold a forty five to
one ticket heading into a final round Sunday, watch that

(05:30):
unfold and uh, knowing that you have a forty five
to one shot that has an opportunity to win, and
tell me how golf is boring, And yeah it it
won't be. I can assure you of that. Even if
you have guys that like Tiger Woods and and Rory
and others who might not have a chance at winning
the tournament, but they can certainly win. They can certainly

(05:53):
win you money on the side bets if you have
them in head to head matches with other golfers. So
this is a fun time of year as we get
ready to close the book on the NFL season and
crown to eight champion. We look forward to obviously March madness,
and then the NBA going to continue to move along
here as we get ready for the playoffs, and the

(06:16):
NHL back on the ice tonight there too, on a
march to us Stanley Cup craziness. You mix in some
golf and oh yeah, I looked here and this was
as of yesterday. So I'm just gonna put this up
on the screen and remind folks what's going on here.
This was yesterday, yep, yeah, yeah, It's just around the

(06:39):
corner here, guys. It is now officially the two week
mark until pictures and catchers for the New York Yankees
and many others will report to spring training. As yes,
Major League Baseball guys, it is Uh, it is almost
upon us, which means we also we'll start breaking down
some future bet for the MLB, some team totals, win totals,

(07:04):
those of you that want to get involved in that.
We love baseball. I love baseball betting. Uh. It was
a very profitable year for us last year, grinding out
that season. Future bets a lot of value on the
board that you can tell. As we head into February,
get ready, it's not gonna make some money guys sports investing,

(07:27):
and we'll help you along the way here on the
Grid Sports grid dot Com recap of the NBA last night.
Next Daily Rhodo dot Com learned from the game's best
DFS players. We don't just give you premier advice. We
play every day, all major sports, all year round. We

(07:48):
never stopped industry leading DFS tools and custom projections. And
now the Daily Rhodo dot Com optimized in minutes, building
optimized line up for cast games and turneys learn from
the games best DFS players Joint Daily Rhado dot Com.

(08:26):
All right, welcome back in to the grant. It is
the morning line. I'm Joan Arry, and we will do
our best here over the next forty seven and a
half minutes. We'll do our best here to get you
caught up with everything that happened overnight in the world
of sports. We did, of course, have a bunch of
NBA games, eight in fact, as well as two college

(08:47):
basketball games upsets in the making, including last night, a
ferocious nineteen point come back from a top twenty five
team and a meltdown for a ten team against yet
another unranked opponent. And yes, we are the craziness continues here.

(09:08):
In college basketball, was another top twenty five team falls
to the wayside, going down to an unranked team in
the A. C C will break that down. Of course,
we made a lot about Syracuse and their game last
night about Clemson. We'll let you know how that turned out.
But all in all, guys, yesterday in the NBA will

(09:29):
start there. It was a profitable night for favorites if
you were backing of a little chalky. Last night in
the NBA, favorites went six and two straight up. They
went five and three against the number you had. Of course,
the Lakers and the Clippers were postponed. Uh that was
supposed to take a place at the Staples Center last night.
That is not to be. So. There were only two

(09:51):
upsets outside of all outside of the rest of the games,
and one of them took place right up the road
here from where I am now in Miami at the
Triple A Arena, and that was the Boston Celtics catching
Miami in a second game of a back to back,
and they caught him, or they caught him sleepwalking a

(10:12):
little bit. As the Celtics there plus two is what
they were getting two points heading into that matchup against
a Miami Heat team that was twenty one and two
at the Triple A Arena. Nobody in the Eastern Conference
had even been able to beat them yet. Now I
haven't even lost at home yet. The only loss they

(10:32):
had was to the Clippers last week, and that's a
Western Conference teams. So nobody in the Eastern Conference has
even been able to come to Miami and beat this
team until last night. And the Celtics did it plus
two one ten on the money line. Good for them,
those of you that backed the Celtics last night. Also,
the biggest upset of the night had to come and

(10:54):
I hate the breaking. And this was one of the games,
of course that we we did call the Phoenix saw
that's right, traveled to Dallas to take on the Mavericks.
And yet another second game of a back to back
for the Dallas Mavericks, and that was the Phoenix Suns
were getting seven as a closing line, plus two forty

(11:16):
on the money line, and yeah, they took care of business.
They're beating the Dallas Mavericks Luca don Check and company
rather easily last night, one thirty three to one oh four.
It was a SmackDown of epic proportions when the Phoenix
Suns Devin Booker a huge night, comes in well over

(11:39):
forty points there in the game. He was just an
absolute beast and they they dropped forty eight almost a
fifty burger in the third period alone. So they come
out for the third quarter and they dropped forty eight
points on Dallas twenty two points Dallas returns, but that
was it was pretty much over from there. Sion Are

(12:01):
opened up with a thirty two to nineteen edge in
the first quarter and then Dallas did a great job
of making a comeback. They outscored him thirty eight to
thirty eight and a second. But the prop match up there, guys,
if you were backing uh, if you were backing Booker
in any way, shape or form last night, congratulations, They

(12:24):
they were going ahead and they were dropping a hole
and I mean a whole lot of points. And prop
bets last night for Devon book are also huge. But
the over big also a big win there in the
over last night for that Phoenix Dallas game. Good stuff there,
And if we've said it once, we've said it a
bunch of times here on the show, and it's a

(12:45):
good reminder for those of you that might just be
joining us or diving into the NBA season now as
football will come to a close on Sunday. Of handicapping
the NBA is about understanding scheduling, understanding in an eight
two games season. Uh, there are stretches where the schedule

(13:08):
is pretty brutal for some teams. And while yes they
fly on you know, personal jets and aircraft and luxury,
it is still a grind, more so than pretty much
any other sport. The traveling for basketball in the NBA
is very unique. It's unlike any other sport. These guys

(13:28):
are on the road constantly and understanding at what point
in the season they are, what their health is, and
with today's load management and how that works in the NBA,
it is crucial for you in order to be profitable
betting the NBA to understand schedule and understand load management

(13:49):
and availability of certain players, because, as we've noticed, you'll
see line movement early in the morning, like we tell
you about here for the upcoming games, and then all
of a sudden you'll see a mid day slight adjustment,
until of course, right around three, four or five o'clock
in the afternoon, you'll start to see the injury reports

(14:12):
trickle out, and all of a sudden, guys that guys
like you know, Chris Paul and James Harden, guys that
were questionable all of a sudden become doubtful, all of
a sudden become out. And then you'll have some guys
that aren't even listed as questionable, all of a sudden,
an hour before game time, boom, nowhere to be found.
All of a sudden, they're out. So it's very very

(14:33):
critical of you to understand the timing and to understand
the scheduling of where these players are. And two great cases.
Last night you had a much you had a very
well rested Boston team coming into Miami. You had a
Miami team that had just played the night before against Orlando,
coming out of back to back. Uh, Jimmy Butler a

(14:56):
little bit, uh, a little bit worn down, weren't sure
if he was gonna play or not. Kendrick Nunne didn't.
So understanding those spots and including with Boston Jaalen Brown
and uh and others Marcus Smart, they've been dealing with
some injuries. UH, know all the facts before you start
putting your money down on these games. Including the Dallas

(15:17):
Mavericks last night, who just got boat raced by the
Phoenix Suns a little more well rested, while Dallas has
had quite the grind over the last couple of games.
Either way, the overhit to thirty twenty eight was the
was the total, and they dropped into thirty seven thirty
three alone by Phoenix. Just another shining example of no,

(15:40):
no the situation, no the scheduling, and understand what's up
for grabs for both teams. Case in point last night
with the Washington Wizards traveling to the Milwaukee Bucks, a
fifteen win Washington Wizards team taking on a thirty nine
win Milwaukee Bucks team, and what we learned midday yes
or day was and this game opened up as a

(16:03):
fifteen fourteen and a half fifteen and a half points
spread over the Washington Wizards, and then we learned that
the Greek Freak would not be playing last night, So
you know what happened there. The line drops a little bit.
It went from fourteen and a half fifteen two eleven
and a half, which is where it closed that. However,

(16:23):
the total, the total was two forty two and a
half and that hovered around two forty two. It closed
at two forty one. It was one of our was
my favorite pick from the edge yesterday here on sports
grid dot com. I had told you I love the
over in this even without the Greek freak didn't make
a darn bit of difference. Had a real, real feeling

(16:47):
that even without Johanness in the lineup, they were still
going to be able to score a whole lot of
points on the Washington Wizards defense with their reserves. Milwaukee
one of the deepest teams in the league. They've got
plenty of death, they got plenty of scoring. They were
at home and Washington for all their faults on the
defensive end, Bradley Beale really starting to find his groove

(17:09):
right now, and sure enough that proved to be very
profitable as the Milwaukee Bucks dropped a hundred and fifty
one points on the Washington Think about that, a hundred
and fifty one. They scored forty two in the first,
forty six in the second. They came out in the
third and uh and took maybe their foot off the
gas a little bit, only scored twenty nine, But they

(17:31):
followed that up in the fourth quarter, dropping thirty four. Ultimately,
it was a one fifty one one thirty one Milwaukee victory.
Not only did they cover, but the total went right
through the roof. The over hit by forty one points.
That's right to forty one total, A had another forty
one to eighty two and you got yourself a winning

(17:54):
bet and uh, Milwaukee certainly covered eleven and a half.
So more of the NBA blustle look ahead tonight as
to the matchups, will do that next year. On the
grid ports rid dot Com Daily Rodo dot Com learned

it look like? And let me see if I can
get this Uh see if I can get this up
for us here, because I do believe Yeah, yeah, no,

(20:08):
I I believe Drew did it again? Did he not?
Did Drew dink Meyer not dominate and win and take
down yet another tournament last night? Let me just make
sure that I have this because guys, I don't know, like,
I don't know how much more does this? Uh? This
dude is just unbelievable. Drew is Uh, he is a

(20:30):
machine like in his approach to DFS and fantasy and
let me see what let's it. So let's see what
we got here. And there it is very top. There
he is the NBA four K fade away a thousand,
hundred K to the first place winner. And who do
you happen to think that was? Guys? I want to
take guests, anybody, anybody there? It is you see at

(20:53):
the top there one and one thousand, three and forty six.
Drew takes it down another another first place finished from
from Drew dank Meyer of course the optimizer. I don't
know what else to tell you, guys, if you haven't
figured that out yet by now, it's like, come on,
how many more of these can you go? And plenty
of money to be able to make and uh he

(21:14):
did it. Congratulations Uh to Drew and company there and
all the folks at Daily Roado got again just crushing
it and making money. And that's exactly what we do here,
and that's exactly why it is important for you guys
to head over to YouTube and hit us up with
the Sports Grid network. Uh, it's gonna be an awful
lot of awful lot of money being being made here

(21:37):
over the next couple of weeks as you guys get
involved NBA dfs, n h L dfs, golfing dfs, to
keep going down a line here, guys, the Optimizer is
a beautiful and I tell you beautiful situation along is.
You're gonna see Drew and UH and others on here
on the network throughout the day, throughout the week, providing

(21:59):
you their strategies and giving you everything you need to know.
It's not like it doesn't work. Can't get you know
how many more hundred a hundred thousand tournaments hundred thousand
dollar jackpots that I have to win before we realize
they got They kind of know what they're doing there, guys,
So h plenty of opportunities for you too to be
able to profit off of the knowledge and the direction

(22:19):
of them as well as others. Head over there and
follow us at the sports Grid Network. And of course
the debut of Got for Ell today UH Coast to
Coast will beginning four pm on the sports Grid Network.
So a lot of great things happening. UH. That'll be
from the FanDuel Sports Book at the Meadowlands. So get ready.
There's plenty of money to be made, and it starts

(22:41):
this weekend while it will start tonight as well as
we do have uh a bunch of opportunities for you
guys to be able to dive in, maybe whether it
be DFS or not. When you look at uh the
NBA tonight, you've got college basketball also n h L
opportunity umntees that will present themselves. So a lot going

(23:03):
on uh here today for you to be able to
get in and make yourself a couple of bucks. There
was some headlines to last night that we will quickly
tell you a shock to absolutely nobody, well maybe a
shock to some. But the Houston Texans went ahead and
named Bill O'Brien bill O'Brien, I mean sorry, general manager. Uh.

(23:25):
The Texans named Bill O'Brien the general manager. Uh. He
then announced that he will retain and hire himself and
keep him as a head coach. So that's good. So
nothing changes in Houston as Bill O'Brien is now pretty
much Bill O'Brien, just like he's been running the running
the Houston Texans, watching them fall short on a consistent basis.

(23:48):
Patriots legendary offensive line coach Dante Scarneckia is retiring for now. Uh.
He was a guy that retired a couple of years
ago before Bill Bill Belichian Company convinced him to come
back and uh and work with the offensive line many
considered to be him. Many considered him to be one
of the absolute greatest offensive line coaches in the game.

(24:12):
His scheming, his ability to uh to coach up and
make uh, you know, make Filet mignon dinners out of
craft macaroni and cheese is crazy. He has been really good.
Seventy one years old. He says that he is planning
to retire, which now means that Tom Brady in fact,
will be the oldest man in the in the offensive

(24:33):
room meetings if he decides to come back. That's crazy.
That's what he had Dante Scarnecki around. He was the oldest,
Tom was second oldest, and now Brady is just around
the corner of being the old dude on the block
in the Patriots camp. If he so decides to go
back there, that remains to be seen. So uh, congratulations too, Scarnecki,

(24:58):
and to Bill O'Brien for continuing to do not to
excel and two more or less beas mediocre as humanly
possible and continue to maintain not one, but two jobs
and an NFL franchise. I don't know how Bill O'Brien
does it. I don't know if he's got pictures or
what's going on with him, but congratulations. Uh he is

(25:19):
in fact now officially once again the general manager as
well as the head coach, just like Bill Belichick, without
the winds or the rings or the success and well yeah,
you get it there. Also, we told you yesterday that
the Nike online store UM sold out of the Kobe

(25:40):
Bryant merchandise and they are no longer going to be
providing ah more of that merchandise to those that sell.
They are extremely afraid of people going out making a
run on everything Kobe Bryant and then jacking the prices
and selling them on their own at at a later date,

(26:04):
So they are trying to They are trying to limit
the craziness that is going to be flooding the market
now with people with anything and everything that's Kobe Bryant. Uh.
They do not want to see the press gat and
they're not gonna make it easier for these collectors and
others to stockpiled Kobe Bryant sneakers and uh, you know,

(26:25):
jerseys and everything else. So they can turn around and
jack the prices up through the roof. So they are
going to hold off for now on providing more inventory
for online sellers. And plus they have a whole new
shoe that was planning coming out in February and a
couple of weeks, so they're gonna hold off on that
as well. So they everything at this particular point really

(26:48):
on hold in a lot of different ways for for
Kobe Bryant, and certainly with Nike and Kobe Bryant as
far as any and all of the gear that you
might have been able to buy, including those new shoes
that we're gonna be released, a limited edition shoe in
fact celebrating I believe the last championship of Kobe and
the Lakers. They're gonna hold off on that. Um and

(27:10):
the l A Corner Office has in fact released that
they have identified the bodies of Kobe Bryant and three
others on that in that crash they are on Sunday.
They used a fingerprints, they said, to confirm the identity
of the individuals, which included Kobe along with uh longtime

(27:32):
baseball coach Orange County Community College of Baseball coach John Alta, belly,
along with Sarah Chester, who was also on the on
the flight with hard daughter, a member of the team,
and the pilot, Arrows of Bay and Uh. They all
said were in fact confirmed. They have not yet formally
identified the five other victims of the crash, but they

(27:57):
have identified them. UH. Relatives and others have made a
positive identification for Gianna Chesters thirteen year old daughter, UH.
Peyton Alta, Belli's wife carried and daughter a listener as
long as along with other coach Christian Mauser. Christina Mauser.
She was the girl's basketball coach in Southern California elementary

(28:20):
school that was also part of the Mamba Basketball Association.
So they have removed all of the bodies from the
wreckage at this point now it is really going to
be a matter of piecing everything back together from the
helicopter they have once again in that area there. It
will shut it down, beyond shutting down, they do say

(28:44):
the federal investigators. The FBI is involved now as well
as the NTSB. They said it will be unfortunately, once
they get every piece of wreckage that there is, and
they will find every piece, they swear to it, Uh,
they will put that helicopter back together, and they will
do their very best to figure out exactly what went wrong,

(29:06):
how it went wrong, and where it went wrong. And
they said the final findings will probably take you know, months,
not not years, but they say months they'll be able
to determine it as they continue to get more and
more information about the weather. The public has been very helpful,
they said, in providing information pictures right around the times

(29:29):
of the crash, so they are very confident that they
will be able to figure out exactly who, what, where
and how. Meanwhile, we also have learned that any sort
of memorial or anything along those lines from the Lakers
perspective in the organization, uh, that is still being discussed.

(29:50):
And the Lakers will be back in action this week,
I believe, on Friday. Clippers back on Thursday, but the
Lakers or tomorrow Lakers a couple of one more day off,
I believe before they hit the hardwood again. And they
do anticipate now that they are on the part of
the investigation where the bodies have been identified and have

(30:10):
been released, that they will go ahead and begin the
plans of what is next, whether it be at the
Staples Center, whatever it is, they're going to be and
whatever it is they're gonna do, they do. Anticipate those
announcements and those final plans will probably be coming out
shortly and sooner rather than later, so you can posted

(30:31):
as we know. Those are the latest headlines from overnight
in the world of sports. We will dive in the
latest lines of the Super Bowl, prop bets, etcetera. We'll

(31:35):
Historically he's been elite here in Phoenix at the Waste Management.
He has a win at eleventh and fourth and a
second place finish in his last four years, and that
second place finish he should have won there. He punts
that one away, but he still has a lot of
great run here in Phoenix, and you're paying for that
sixteen to one. You're paying for all of his course
history because the swing does not look that good for Ricky.

Right now, Tuesday seven to eight p f Eastern on

All right, welcome back in here to the Grid sports

a look at the latest when it comes to the
Super Bowl betting market and what we have noticed and unless,

(32:40):
of course, you are like crazy like us and you
are just living on monitoring what the markets are doing
as far as the line changes and as far as
the amount of bets and percentages, which I'm sure many
of you have a life, and that's why you tune
into us for us to tell you. I can tell
you without any degree of certain that there is one

(33:01):
bet that has seen an overwhelming amount of support from
the public and it is not a side, but rather
in the total, and they have been pummeling the over
uh since the lines opened up the over. An overwhelming
majority of the bets have been hitting the over. And

(33:24):
the question was how high would it go before we
started to see a little bit uh, a little bit
of buy back. Where would it plateau? And yesterday for
a few hours there was a a few fifty fives
available on the market. It opened up at fifty one
and a half. It was as high as fifty five

(33:44):
yesterday finally in a couple of places, but it did
not last and that of course was quickly bet back
down uh to fifty four and a half, which is
really where I am seeing this across the board in
a lot of places, both on the East coast and
the west coast there. So what does that mean? Well,
it means that any real value on that over number

(34:05):
is is long gone at this particular point, uh, it
looks like fifty five was the number where we were
going to start to see some of the buy back,
some of the pro money, the professional moneys where were
they were sitting on the sidelines waiting to see how
high it would go before they bought it back. Some
pros got in early at fifty one and a half,

(34:27):
and would they have bet fifty four and a half.
They can't. It's been there for a while, guys. Fifty
four and a half has been there for a while.
So while we continue to see the percentage of tickets rise,
the money kind of has stayed right right along the
same percentage. Guys. We're talking almost of the tickets close

(34:49):
to of the money all backing the over on this,
which is a great signal of yeah, there's a little
bit of pro money, but the majority of that total,
any is public money, guys, and it continues to roll
in as not necessarily the money percentage continues to rise,
but certainly the ticket count and the amount of tickets

(35:11):
being bet, uh, it continues to come in. So where
does that leave the total if you're thinking about betting it, Well,
obviously it's incredibly contrarian to go under in this game.
We are talking about the single biggest bet game of
the year ever maybe for that matter. So the idea

(35:32):
that of the bets are going one way, it is
a contrarians dream, Okay, the ultimate contrarian scenario to be
able to go the other way, back the under in
the heavily bet game of the year or ever for
that matter. You being able to go to the other

(35:53):
way provides yes, absolute value from a contrarian standpoint. And remember,
I mean a high scoring game is what everyone is
anticipating and what most people are telling you, right, expect points,
expect points, expect points. It's gonna be points, my homes.
It's these guys they say, average thirty points. They're gonna

(36:14):
points points points. Points. But it has been my experience
that when something looks way too good to be true
and so easy that it's a no brainer. Yeah, that's
when all hell breaks loose and nothing proves to be
any sort even remotely close to a no brainer, it

(36:37):
starts to go the other way. In fact, I believe
since two thousand three, when a total of a game
is fifty or higher, especially in the in the super Bowl,
it's happened a couple of fifties. I believe it's happened
five times since two thousand three where we've seen Super
Bowl totals over fifty, and in those five times, the

(37:00):
dre is four and one. So again everyone's saying it's
gonna go over everyone. Well, last year's Patriot Rams game
remember what everyone told us, Oh that nobody's gonna be
able to stop that Patriots. Uh that I mean that
rams high old Sean McVeigh that that offense. Ah my god, girl,
oh boy, thirteen to three later. Uh, that's what we

(37:23):
were dealing with, and very similar. I'm kind of hearing
the same things this year, only Oh yeah, we got
two offenses. Got I mean, you had a fourty and
isys defense is good, but boy, Patrick Mahomes and company, Yeah,
it could very well be guys that once again, this
game is by the way outdoors at the hard Rock
Stadium in Miami. Outdoor playoff unders seventies seven and sixty

(37:48):
fifty six since two thousand three, and we are looking
for temperatures in the mid upper sixties, low seventies with
about seven to ten mile per hour wins gonna be
absolutely beautiful. Bill Vinovich is the referee here in this game,
and historically in his refing days in the NFL, his

(38:08):
games fifty eight percent to the under. So it'll be
interesting to see if this total continues to come down
that it seems we've peaked at fifty five and now
that it has been bought down to fifty four, and
a half, and that really does seem to be the
sweet spot here in a lot of places and a
lot of books around the country. We'll see if it
continues to come back down or will the books push

(38:32):
it back up knowing that the minute they did it,
they got hammered back down rather quickly with with the
bigger better. So we'll see what's going on. But again,
there are a boatload of opportunities with the prop betting
market to figure out which way you want to go there. Uh,
it really does also and we'll talk more about this

(38:53):
next hour and make it rain. We'll dive into doesn't
make any sense in a one point one way or
the other? If you like the forty niners, does it
make any sense to take the spread and take the
point or should you just bet them on the money line?
And vice versa. If you like Kansas City, should you
lay the point or should you pay a few extra
cents you know, pay uh, you know, ten cents more

(39:16):
or whatever it's going to be and just go ahead
and take them on the money line. What does history
tell us as far as games that are less than
a field goal or even less than two points at
this point for a total what exactly does it say
the smarter move, the more profitable move has been when
it comes to betting aside, and we'll have that breakdown

(39:38):
for you coming up next hour, but we did want
to spend just a couple of minutes and do want
to let you know once again that tonight loaded on
the card for for games, a lot of games in
fact here tonight that that are going to be both
in the n b A in the in the NFL,

(40:00):
not the NFL, in the NBA, in college hoops too
as well, which is a big, big night in college
basketball as we look to have fifty three I'm counting
of fifty three college basketball games on the slate, six
NHL games, six NBA games, So it is going to
be a big, big, big, big, big, big, big big

(40:21):
nights in college hoops. And we saw a big night
last night, of course, which included and this was a
lot of fun last night watching this game, Number seventeen.
Auburn was down nineteen points in the second half and
they rallied in overtime to beat Old Miss three to
eighty two. It took two overtime periods, but they did it.

(40:43):
They avoided that dreaded ranked team losing to an unranked
team on the road. Uh, they did cover Old Miss
though they were getting five and a half points. They
were home dogs. But wow, what can you say? A
nineteen point deficit overcome on a on the road by
a college team is is pretty darn impressive, especially after
we just watched We watched that craziness of Minnesota and

(41:07):
Sacramento the night before in the NBA. Down seventeen points
in under three minutes in the fourth quarter and still
managed to come back and win. Also, Number sixteen Butler
took down Georgetown last night. Minor upset is the Bulldogs
closed as a one point road dog. They were plus
one hundred on a money line. And the upset of
the night goes to Virginia getting two points at home

(41:30):
plus one ten on the money line. They upset Number
five Florida State to fifty six. That's right, six fifty six.
The over hit in that game too, it was one
fourteen and a half. It closed at one. Obviously it
ended up one seventeen. The overhits. But another ranked team
falls to an unranked team in college hoops. Crazy scenario

(41:53):
this year and of those you know, fifty three or
more games we got going tonight, we find ourselves looking
at a a couple of other spots on the card
which are going to prove to be I think, situationally
extremely profitable for you. Will have those next hour as
well as we look to make it rain for you.
But I did want to just give us a quick

(42:14):
gambling you on some of these prop bets that are
going to be coming up in some strategies that you
guys might want to employ when attacking prop betting this weekend.
And number one, the first thing that you want to
keep in mind is, and this is the rule number
one across the board, do not go absolutely crazy betting

(42:36):
props all right, because it is extremely easy with the
sheer volume, the sheer number and types of props that
you can bet for this game is so over the top, guys,
it can be overwhelming, especially if you are somebody that, uh,
somebody that's new to the betting market, or somebody that

(42:57):
says this would be great one proper it into another
prop and then you'll hear somebody bet this prop and
it can get out of hand rather easily. There are
hundreds and I mean hundreds of prop bets to be
able to choose from and even if there even if
you think of one that you think doesn't exist, I

(43:18):
can promise you it does exist. So rule number one
is understand there's no reason for you. And this goes
to prop betting, and we talked about this earlier. If
there is no edge to be had, all right, if
you don't know what the edges or if you can't
sit down and explain what the edges on a bet

(43:39):
on a prop that you are about to go ahead
and put money down on, please don't put money down
on it. You should not be betting anything recreationally or
not that doesn't provide an edge for you as a
better whether it be the slightest of edges. But there
has to be a method behind the madness. And what
happens with prop betting is it's just like I'll take

(44:00):
this one, I'll take this one, I'll go ahead with this.
This sounds good. But and usually at the end of
the day there's no correlation between any of the and
we've we hear stories about this is that people end
up at the end of the day looking at their
bets and they'll win one and they'll lose it. They'll
lose one because they they contradicted each other in the game,

(44:22):
so please have a plan of attack, don't overdo it,
and make sure, like with any bet, you understand exactly
what the edges and why it is that you are
betting that prop. And the other big thing to remember here, guys,
is make sure you're shopping for the best line multiple

(44:42):
sports books in New Jersey and Nevada, no matter where
it is. We've got twenty states now books all over
the place. That's good for the marketplace. Don't overpay for
a prop bet just simply because you're you don't want
to shop it or you're too lazy to get it done. Yes, no,
they're as opportunities, and there are big differences between the

(45:02):
shops and the amount of money that you can make.
And of course, closing line value is always something we're
looking to achieve, meaning we bet something at a much
greater price than what it closed at. The only way
you can do that is by making sure you're betting numbers,
not teams. Get yourself the best number shop around. And finally,

(45:24):
uh pros and Joe's also gonna love diving into the
prop market here this weekend. Both sides, not just not
just the rookies, not just the newbies, but pros love it.
But once again, make sure make sure that you understand
what the edges in those prop bets that you are making.

(45:48):
We'll have more on this coming up, but again, don't
go quick four on the grid. We look to make
it rain coming up next. Good luck with those plays tonight.
We'll be back again tomorrow breaking it down for you.

(46:44):
Hi need your help. Here's what you miss on the
morning line. Let us not forget Sunday. We've got ourselves
a pretty decent football game. Final football game of the
year to watch, that being between the Kansas City Chiefs
and San Francisco forty Niners. As they have descended, so
have the fan bases in fact uh In and around

(47:07):
South Florida really starting to see the contingency of forty
Niner fans starting to show up now, a lot of
forty nine are faithful, a lot of forty Niner gear
starting to pop up in the streets here of Miami,
certainly driving you can people are decking out their cars
coming in and Kansas City has been here their fan
base for a little while as well, So it's really

(47:29):
starting to come together, and of course it is overrun
by members of the media here in South Florida. As
that continues, Radio Row and others continue here as we
march along, getting ready to go Sunday teams, both teams
in fact, will actually be able to practice today, get

(47:49):
back on the field, and they will they'll have an
opportunity to put the final touches on their game plans
and get ready for kickoff on Super fifty four Hard
Rock Stadium. Weather so far in the forecast looks like
it's going to be absolutely beautiful, which means that you,

(48:10):
me and the rest of the betting community, we are
going to need to start to uh to start really
breaking down some of these prop bets and our method
behind the madness and how we are going to go
about not only betting the game itself, but how are
we going to correlate our bets uh to fit that
mold and to fit that plan. So we do have,

(48:31):
of course, some suggestions for you coming up some tips
about prop betting for the big Game. Here the super
Bowl will pass those along to you. Will give you
a idea of some of the some of the smarter play,
some of the some of the history of some of
these prop bets, and what past Super Bowls have have
taught us about this, uh, this Sunday game, and how

(48:53):
to go ahead and make sure it is a profitable Sunday.
I mean, listen, while it's great to chip in twenty bucks,
fifty bucks, hunter bucks, whatever it may be for the
Super Bowl boxes at your work, and and of course
about any parties that you're doing. While that is all great,
and I would highly suggest you get involved with those
types of things because it always does make it fun

(49:16):
to watch, especially if you haven't followed football very much.
But from a betting perspective, there's a lot of there's
a lot of other bets that will give you a
much better percentage of actually winning and profiting on Sunday
than hopefully the two numbers that you randomly get drawn

(49:37):
out of a hat will end up providing you sports grade.
