Speaker 1 (00:03):
PHP only. Hi, guys, welcome to our PHP. Booker right here, Perez,
right there?

Speaker 2 (00:22):
How are you welcome to our PHP the PHP.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Our Perez Olten podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I don't know. This doesn't sound right.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
All right, Hi everybody, welcome to the PHP. Hi, Booker's Perez.
How are you?

Speaker 2 (00:36):
I'm good, excited. There's some scandal, there's some virality. We're talking, Well,
those are different stories. We're talking going viral Sydney Sweeney.
I'll explain why we're talking scandal with Megan the Stallion
and her now ex boyfriend. Also a big update on
Harry Styles, the engagement with Zoe Kravitz. And we're even

(00:59):
talking sports. But first, how are you?

Speaker 1 (01:02):
I can't wait to get to the sports part of
this program. I am doing well, thank you. Nothing new
to report.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
I'm doing wellsh also, but man, getting old is really
a challenge. I went to church yesterday. I'm very happy
to be taking my kids, but I have such a
hard time seeing now.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
So you're having a problem with distance, yes.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Then I think, but then I think I'm also well no, no, no,
it's weird. I'm having a problem with mid distance. Does
that make sense?

Speaker 1 (01:30):
It's not the reading that you're having problems with yet.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Well I'm sure, yeah, I'm sure that's coming next. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Yeah. That just hits you like overnight. You wake up
one morning you're like, fuck, I can't see no.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
But it's like, you know, they had the text on
these big screens, so I could read that, but then like, oh,
I can't really make out their faces. Whatever. Anyways, I'm
gonna have to go to the optometrists soon. That's about
all the excitement that I got up to this weekend.
But it was a very exciting weekend in Washington, d C.
We have to talk about this because it's okay dominating headlines.

(02:03):
I don't really have anything to add to what happened
at the Correspondence dinner other than will we ever really
be able to truly know what causes somebody to go
from being a highly educated person with a master's degree
who's a teacher to then trying to assassinate the president.

(02:25):
I understand, you know, consuming a lot of stuff, but
I love watching horror films and I'm not going to
go murder people, right, So I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
This would be much bigger news if this was the
first time, well, if it was like if Obama was
in office, this would dominate headlines for days.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
This is dominating headlines.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
But my point is it'll be gone tomorrow. Where this
is just another thing with this administration. It is something
every single day, it's something so but yeah, to your point,
social media has a big part of it, No.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
I said, I don't think so, because it's like social
media is the same as like watching a lot of
horror films. I can consume a lot of social media
that's toxic. Doesn't mean I'm going to go do something
toxic myself.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Well that's you, that's not everybody else. And I think
what we're going to find out with this generation is
the effects of what the internet and social media has
done to people. And I'm predicting this is just scratching
the surface. This is just the very beginning. I think
we're going to have much more, much higher mental health problems.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
We've had social media for close to twenty years now.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
We have, but this new generation has grown up with
nothing but it, and I think it's shaping them differently,
and I think that it does a lot to their
self esteem. You're seeing a lot more young people have
problems coming out of school. They have socialization problems because
of social media and how they communicate, because of this
little screen thing that they live inside of. They actually

(03:53):
think this is real. They think this is a world
it's not. It's fake. Everything about this is absolutely fake.
But they don't know that. And I'm telling you, I
think the ramifications this is just part of the problem.
Social media has rotted America to the core and it
will continue to do the same. I firmly believe that
this is not something that's bringing people together, it is

(04:14):
spreading people apart.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Well, I'm just working through this right now in real time.
I don't know if this is what I believe. Let
me just verbalize it. I was going to say originally,
I really feel bad for his family because they're a
victim in all of this also, But then I didn't
say that, and I thought, did his family fuck up somehow?

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Because probably not, because.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
I would not do that to my family, you know,
like I would be aware that my selfish action would
also be a stain on my family.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Well, to be that introspective, which you're not, I mean,
you've been buried in this little phone thing for as
long as I've known you, and you know you've made
changes in your life where you're now present with your
kids that maybe you weren't before, or and maybe you
didn't realize it. Who knows? Is the point I'm saying.
Anyone can look at themselves and think, well, I would
never do that, or I would never let them do that.

(05:08):
You think the family's sitting there going, well, we're to blame.
We didn't do dot dot. I just think there's just
a bigger problem happening. And I still think it's rooted
in a lot of it's rooted in social media.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
I think the family probably fucked up somehow. I don't know,
like I don't know, I don't know. I don't know
all the details, but I'm sure we'll find out more.
All Right, Well, we need a palate cleanser after that.
I'm a little bummed that there haven't been more developments
with this next story and a little not disappointed in myself.

(05:40):
But I didn't really latch onto this story until after
we recorded our Patreons show on Thursday. Okay, I'm talking
about the Patriots head coach, Mike Vrabble vrabel Rabble vrabel whatever.
That Patriots head coach and his alleged adulteress of six
Plus it really took for me to see the multiple

(06:03):
pictures before I really got invested in the story. But
the wild thing is is that it was already a
big story for days before that, and then after those
pictures came out on Thursday, both Page six and TMZ
ran different photos. The story died. That's weird, isn't it
weird that you would think normally a story like this

(06:23):
so silacious would have legs. But the story died.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Okay, But this story's been going on for like two
weeks now.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
It's been two weeks.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Yeah, oh yeah, this has been quite some time when
it first landed. I think we talked about this, Perez,
I don't think this is like, got it? We didn't know.
I thought we did. No, maybe it's just Mike Radio
show up thinking about But yeah, no, this story is
a couple of weeks old by now. Look they've been busted.
She already stepped down from her job. The problem is
with her.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
She denied it.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Yeah, yeah, all your credibilities out the window. Look, people
fuck up, people get into relationships, People do some shade.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
No, I didn't care. I didn't care at first.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
I still don't care what two adults did and I
feel badly for his family because now they're the victims.
I really know here.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Now, Like when I even found out that the woman
got married like six years ago or something, and a
few years ago, like in twenty twenty two or something,
I forget she had a baby with her husband and
named the baby Michael, Mike, Michael. Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Yeah. It is all very salacious and sticky and icky.
And the thing is, he doesn't lose his job for this,
and everyone's saying, why doesn't he lose his job because
what the fuck did he do wrong at his job?
He did nothing wrong unless he's actually gets in trouble
for some information that he's sharing. But every fucking coach
in the NFL does that. They all have relationships with

(07:51):
different reporters. This one just happens to be female, so
I don't know that. Yeah, there's some sexism here. That
she lost her job because she designed.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
She wasn't fired, Well.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
She would have lost her job because credibility's out the window.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Well, yeah, then she lied, though there should be consequences
for lying.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
She didn't known it, and when she was busted, and
it sounds like they got together, colluded and said just
deny this, it'll go away. Then more receipts came out
and whoops.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
It's a totally different story when you can visually see something.
That's why I didn't care about them like lounging. There
wasn't anything like scandalous about them, like lounging at the pool.
But then I saw pictures of them at a bar
or a club in New York and they're kissing. I'm like, what,
wait a minute now.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
I wasn't sure that the video of that was real.
That could be ai because I have not seen any
verification that that's real, Like why would someone have video
of that? But the kissing and the pictures I believe that.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
And then at the casino as well, it's like, yeah,
I mean there are women out there like Nikki Glazer.
Granted she's the minority, but there are some women out
there who are okay with open relationships. If you're a
heterosexual man who wants that, you should find that simple

(09:08):
as that. I think a lot of shuds here. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
People get married and their marriages go stale, and they
become unloving marriages, and people wander and who knows what
the relationship is with Vrabel and his what and her
and her husband, and we don't know, and it's really
not our business, but it is. Look at the end
of the day, like I said, I just feel really

(09:31):
bad for all of their kids because it's very embarrassing.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Yeah. Well, the most embarrassing is for her husband because
then I even saw video of her mocking her husband.
Did you see that? No, there were like all these
like highlight reels clips of her like shitting on her husband, like,
you know, making jokes.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
About him, making him the buzzy exactly.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
But now it's like got a whole other context to
it when we find out not only was she on
TV making jokes about her husband, but behind the scenes
she's cuckolding him.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
And what other funny thing about this is you know
who loves this, Robert Kraft. He's like, thank God, it's
not me this time. It's somebody else in the Patriots organization.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Right. He did the whole like massage scandal right in Florida. Yes,

On Thursday's show, we talked about Harry Styles' engagement to
Zoe Kravitz and a little big update there. Okay, after
the speculation that they were engaged because she was spotted
wearing this huge diamond ring on her engagement finger, page

(10:55):
six reported exclusively that they were engaged, and then all
the media outlets went out to the reps for Zoe
Kravitz and Harry Styles asking for comment, and they neither
confirmed nor denied. So I would think if it wasn't true,
they would probably deny it, right.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
You tell me. I don't know how that typically works
with the reps. I mean, do some reps never ever comment?

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Some never ever comment? But I would think if this
wasn't true, they would just say it's not true.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
I could see her reps liking the attention. His reps,
if even has any, they'd be like, we don't care
what you say. He doesn't seem to be a part
of that machine, or wants to be a part of
that machine. I don't know, what do you think? Do
you think they're engaged?

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Yeah? Definitely.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
How long was he with Olivia Wilde? It was a
long time, right, three years? Okay, so they never got engaged.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
No, but I never saw them working out.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
How long have they been together?

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Eight months?

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Eight months? When you know you know, well, you know
it took me thirteen years, so you know what I
mean to each his own. So I don't know, I
mean to wear a big old ring like that. It's
hard to get that kind of ring confused with anything else,
would be my assessment. If it's not, she's thirsty as hell.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
I mean, he was right next to her, though, What
are you implying that she did that just for attention?

Speaker 1 (12:13):
If she's not engaged, Yes, that's exactly what I'm implying.
If there's no engagement and she walks around with that
big old ring on, there's no reason to have a ring.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
That's another reason why they are engaged, because Harry was
with her.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
I'm with you, I think they're engaged. I'm just saying,
if they're not engaged, she's thirsty as hell because she's
feeding the machine. That's all. That's all I'm saying. I
don't have the answer either way.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
And if they were not engaged and he saw her
wearing that huge diamond ring on her engagement finger, I
don't think he'd go out for a stroll with her, right, Is.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
He really the kind of guy that's going to tell
her what to do? I don't think he's that kind
of get like, you can't wear that. I don't see that.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
I don't see, but maybe not.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
But she makes the decision what goes on her finger
as well.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
But that what I'm saying is that would make him
feel that he's being used, and he would just be like,
I don't feel well right now.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Right, let's go with that. To me, that would be
a gigantic red place. Yes, which is one more reason
to me I think that they're totally a gag.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Yes, that's what I've said all alone.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
Okay, I'm just dicing it up every way.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
I can't well. Congratulations. In other couples news, it was
Stage Coach this weekend. That didn't really generate. I mean,
it's no Coachella, but I mean, I guess it got
some headlines.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
I saw a lot on my feed.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
I saw post Malone headlining. I saw there was some
evacuation due to wind. Yeah, but so funny that this
went super viral because I would have not thought anything
of it. Sydney Sweeney was watching Ella Langley, whom I love.
I told you that song Choosing Texas was a monster hit.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
It's a big old hit.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
I fucking called it like the minute I heard that
song before it was a hit. I'm like, this is
a hit.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
It's an obvious hit. It's a verse chorus verse, It's
the most simple pop song ever. It's great.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
So she was there with her boyfriend, Sidney Sweeney was
with Scooter Broun. Sidney Sweeney got up on Scooter Braun's
shoulders and then people had a lot of opinions about it.
Some people were saying that it was attention seeking behavior.
Other people were saying that it was rude because nobody
else was on somebody else's shoulders blocking eyesight or a

(14:20):
vision point viewpoint of the show. I don't give a funk,
Like I'm not that bothered, Like who cares? Why did
that go viral?

Speaker 1 (14:28):
Honestly, I didn't see that. I didn't see that part
going viral. No, so that was not viral for me.
But yes, she's attention seeking. She went on stage and
threw off lingerie, So she wants attention and that's fine.
That's part of the Sydney Sweeney game. Which I'm all for.
There's nothing wrong with that. As for her being on
his shoulders, yeah, it's not blocking anyone's vision. Everybody has

(14:50):
the right to do that. But yeah, that's attention seeking behavior.
She knows she's fucking famous, but that's the point with her.
So who cares? You know, I'm not bothered by it.
I don't know who would be.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
I could tend you the one of the viral videos
of it, and you can look at all the comments.
But a lot of people were bothered by it.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Everybody's bothered by everything on the internet.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
I mean, come on, well, I was not bothered by it.
And also zero you know, she looked hot as fuck
in other couple's news ay ay yi. Megan the Stallion
the Rapper dumped her NBA bo boyfriend after she accused
him of cheating on her as well as mistreating her.

(15:33):
She took to her social media to publicly put him
on blast. And we'll get to that because that was
a choice. She wrote, cheating had me around your whole
family playing house, got cold feet, holding you down through
all your horrible mood swings and treatment towards me during

(15:55):
your basketball season. Now you don't know if you can
be monogamous, bitch. I need a real break after this one,
by y'all.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
So she put this on social media, Yes, she's part
of the problem. I hate to tell you. What's the
player's name? I forget.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
The guy's name is Klay Thompson. He's with the Dallas Mavericks.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Yeah, he's a big player. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
And then I can hold space for many things at once. First,
I believe her. I think everything she said is most
likely true.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Agreed.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
Also, Meg, you chose to get with a basketball player, right,
any woman who chooses to be with a professional athlete,
you got like a fifty to fifty chance he might
be a good one. But then those are bad as fuck.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Odds, Chris, she loves this to stop. She loves this.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
That was going to be my third thing. Did you
need to put all of this out there?

Speaker 1 (16:51):
Yes, because she loves it. She was hoping that this
happened so she could do this.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Yeah, well no, but then this will be good material
for her next album.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
Right.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
I wouldn't say she was hoping this would happen.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
No, she was. It's Freudian. If you're out there putting
it on social media for everyone to see, you planned
that in the beginning, and you like, to your point,
you knew exactly what you were getting. Okay, Clay Thompson,
come on, he's a basketball player. You know. They all
want to be with someone famous. They do. They're all
working on their brand, and you know they it'd be

(17:25):
awesome to have sex with a famous wrapper that's hot.
So you know what I'm saying, like, come on, you
wanted this, and that's the bottom line. I think you
can see that.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
No, I don't know. I don't know if I I
don't think so. I mean, there are some success stories
of faithful athletes, like look at Jason Kelsey and his wife.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
Wow, we found one.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
I'm sure there are others, as.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
He's not a basketball player in the NBA.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
Okay, Oh, they have more games, some more chances of cheating, right.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
I don't know about any of that. You get for
what you pay for.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
How come we don't hear Actually, if you're going to
be with any professional athlete, you should be with a
football player because they're gone less.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
Right, there's less games, right exactly?

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Yes, how come we don't hear stories about baseball players
because they have the most games of anybody athletes.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
They stay in their own bubble. Mostly, I mean, every
now and again you'll get like some pitcher like Verlander
being with the hot model girl, the woman they're married.
You get it every now and again, but mostly, I
guess Mika Kellys with Jeter and but mostly you don't
get a lot of actresses with baseball players. Baseball's like

(18:37):
a that's a rough life. One hundred and sixty two games.
That's hard to be with somebody. It's like a young
man's game. And you see some of these guys get
families and their games starts to fall off because they're
not fully committed to baseball. It's a very hard game.
Hitting that little white ball is incredibly hard. So it
is weird that basketball players seem to be more prone
to cheating. But we give way more stories of basketball

(19:00):
players cheating. Yeah, NFL player, But NFL wide receivers are
right up there too, I mean, they really are.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
This made me think when you mentioned when we talked
about baseball, that essay that Rob Reiner's son wrote and
he talked about how baseball really brought him and his
dad together, and Jake Reiner talked about how he and
his father did go to all of the major league stadium.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
For whatever reason. It's a major father son bonding thing.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
Yeah, I have zero desire to do that.

Speaker 1 (19:30):
You're about to get a baseball team.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Isn't that years away though?

Speaker 1 (19:33):
Two? Okay, not next season, but the season after, if
there's a season.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
I do love travel. I would love to travel. I've
been getting all of this cruise content on my feed
and I don't even fucking like cruises.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
I have zero desire. It's funny my radio partner, he's
on one today. Even if you gave it to me
for free, I don't think I would do it, and
I've never done it. Maybe that's wrong of me to say,
and maybe it is awesome, but being in that boat
and not being able to get all that little tiny
room and everybody so close, it's not for me. The
idea of it's not for me for sure.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Well, from Megan the Stallion to some wacky news, and
this is also mostly couples related, there was she's got
into semi retirement. Now this very popular Timothy Chalomet fan
account called Club Chalomet, who is no longer going to

(20:28):
be following him because the fandom has changed. But she
literally said, let me pull it up. This fan community
is not the same as it was four years ago.
The notable shift was exactly twelve months ago Kylie Jenner.
Although he's been dating Kylie for more than twelve months.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
It's been a long time. Look, everyone grows up at
some point.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
Oh, it should be noted. This woman is in her
thirties or forties.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
Well, you know, maybe she's finally growing up a bit
and growing out of this weird fandom. She realizes she's
not going to be with this person. Somebody else is.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
She's not totally retiring. She said that she will be
doing updates on the next Dune movie.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Thank god. All right.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
In more news that I think is awesome but a
lot of people think is wacky. According to the publicly
available information, Spencer Pratt, who is running for mayor of
Los Angeles, has raised more money than Los Angeles mayor
Karen Bass.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
So there's a real movement behind Spencer Pratt. If I
lived in LA I would vote for him one hundred percent.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
I do like the things that he says, but I
still think you need relationships with the commissioners, and you
need to be a part of the system saying you're
going to do all these things is one thing. Actually
being able to and navigate through budgets and understanding the
red tape of things is a different thing. And I
don't like Karen Bass at all, but I would probably
still vote for her over Spencer Pratt.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
I think the more you hear hear him speak, the
more that he's getting voters like. Did you watch any
of him on Joe Rogan?

Speaker 1 (22:05):
I did? Like I said, I like the things he's saying.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
But it's not just what he's saying. He's also putting
in the work, like spending time with firefighters, doing this
like he's He's not just talking, he's actually doing.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
Also, anyone can do that, is my point. Getting through
the bureaucracy of budgets and the people that pull the
strings is easier said than done, is the point. And
hiring that's what we're doing. We're hiring politicians. We're trying
to find the ones that have the best relationships with
other politicians that could move the fucking needle. Can he

(22:39):
do that? Maybe? I don't know. Like I said, I
like what he's saying a lot, I just don't know
if he knows the people to actually get anything done.
Anyone can say they're gonna do anything, you know, actually
being able to do it, that's a different story. But
bass I don't want to get into it. She's just
her being out of town during the fires is unforgivable.
I think if you're the may of Los angele hur

(23:00):
at the Olympics unforgivable. If you're the mayor of Los Angeles,
how about this, it's only a few year term. Never
leave Los Angeles or California. We've got everything in this
state you could possibly want. Leaving to go and Viking
to go to Africa or something. Do that when you're
not the fucking mayor. That's my biggest inherent problem with her.
She seemed to be more interested than being famous than

(23:22):
being the fucking mayor. Where Spencer Pratt at least he
doesn't have that problem.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
I don't even personally like everybody's harping on the whole
homelessness situation, which is a real huge issue, but I
think like the bigger issue is just what's the word.
The last time I was in Los Angeles, one of
my homes that I used to live at was right
off of Third Street, and Third Street is a ghost town,

(23:49):
so is Melrose. Melrose and Sunset Also it's like all
of these major.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Beverly heaps at night is sketch. Yeah, there's real problems.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
So like when you don't have you don't have businesses,
Like what does that mean? Like they need to fix
that turn that around.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Well, once again, easier said than done. You can't get
a magic wand and clean things up. But they need
to get tougher on crime, and they need to get
more police and they need to start shooting some of
these people. Enough with these high speed chases. I'm telling you,
we should put missiles on helicopters. We'll stop these in
one day.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
Well I'm sure Spencer Pratt would be down with that.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
Yeah, I'm gonna give them my idea. Look, put missiles
on helicopters and televise it. And you put a timer
on the TV too, Like every minute that you lead
the cops astray in a high speed chase, it's guaranteed
a year in prison. You don't get out, you're going
straight to prison, Like they put you in cuffs on
TV and they actually show you going to prison because
you you know, you led them astray for ten minutes

(24:44):
to put everybody else's life at risk. Either that or
put missiles on helicopters and we just blow them the
fuck up. That's what I would do. No more high
speed chases in Los Angeles because it's become appointment watching.
They have replays, they have fucking replays of the high
speed chases in Los Angeles.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Why is that such a specific to La problem? Like
that never happens in.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Miami because they probably do things right there. They capture
the people like in New York City the way they
used to do it. They take them downstairs where there's
no cameras and they beat the living fucking shit out
of them, Like is what they should do. And that's
what I'm for. Make me mayor. I will campaign on
beating the shit out of criminals. There's so many break
ins and home robberies, it's become an epidemic here in

(25:25):
Los Angeles. And the cops come, they'll tell you there's
nothing we could do. They'll say they'll even catch them,
they'll just let them go.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
Spencer talked about that on Joe Rogan, So.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
He should say one thing, I'm gonna have them killed.
I'm gonna have them disposed like the trash that they are.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
All Right. In other news, a couple of music stories.
Britney Spears is in rehab. We talked about that, and
both of her sons have moved into her home. Oh
and some people are viewing this negatively. I think it's
a positive development. I take it as they're going to
stay there even after their mother's released from rehab.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
Support from your kids.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Where's the downside that she's not there and they're making
her mansion their own and blah blah.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Gives a fuck, it's theirs, it's her mom.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
I'm all for it.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
Yeah, the internet makes no sense.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
I agree. In other music related news, once again, I
was right. Last week on one of the shows, we
were talking about Travis Barker and how he loves the attention. Yep, Well,
guess what what a new Travis Barker quasi reality show
is happening. Not really a reality show, but a documentary

(26:40):
for Hulu. Aka, he doesn't want it to be a
reality show because he doesn't want the association of him
doing another reality show. But it's basically a reality show.
You're doing a documentary for Hulu. It's a reality show.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
It's not fucking Hulu. What else is on Hulu? They
got to put something on it.

Speaker 2 (26:55):
The Kardashians are on Hula exactly.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
No one cares that. No one's watching.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. People watch that one.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Well that's a big show? Is that on him?

Speaker 2 (27:03):
Yeah? Yeah? In other TV news, I don't think. I
don't think you really watched this. Do you watch The
White Lotus?

Speaker 1 (27:10):
Love? White Lotus?

Speaker 2 (27:11):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (27:11):
I can't wait for the new one.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
There was a scandal with the upcoming season because they
began production and Helena Bonham Carter was hired to be
one of the stars of the upcoming season of The
White Lotus and after filming had already begun, she quit
and left the project due to creative difference. Really, so

(27:33):
now they're just recasting her part. But I'm surprised that
we haven't heard more like the real Real has not
leaked yet and I'm so curious.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Well, last season aboucoutely blew. It went on way too well.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
I thought that's wasn't that the season with Patrick Schwarzenegger.

Speaker 1 (27:52):
Yeah, he was great.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
It got a lot of attention though, it.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
Did because the first two seasons were so excellent, and
if you're just making a comparison of the all the seasons,
the last one was just dogshit compared to the first two.
The first two were really, really good, so kind of
hoping that they right the ship a little bit. This
last season was so long in the tooth that was
going nowhere and like and how it ended was dumb.
It just it kind of fell apart.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
And Parker Posey's fabulous.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
She was a little over the top.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
Two That shows not for you, the shows for the gaze.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
First of all, that show's not for the gaze. It's
not a gay show. It's fair for the gaze, it's
not her character was for the gays.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
Maybe, and Mike White is a gay, he's a game.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Okay, well, good for him, But it's not a show
for the gays.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
I think it's for the gays.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Okay. Once again, guy that doesn't watch something gives his assessment.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
Yeah, I'm sure everybody will agree with me.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
Last time that happened, the entire audience disagreed with you,
and you lost half of the fan base. Congratulations, go
with that.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
Well, it is for the gays. They're the ones who
talk about it on social media for the most part. Anyways,
in more TV News, we speculated on this. I don't
remember what I said because I don't really care too much.
But despite chatter to the contrary, there will be a
return of The Bachelor on ABC in twenty twenty seven,

(29:14):
according to the head of the reality programming there. So
The Bachelor is not done despite the ill fated season
with Taylor Frankie Paul, and that same guy from ABC
also said that that season might possibly air at some
point somewhere, but not necessarily ABC or Hulu because actually

(29:37):
ABC and Hulu don't produce that show. I think it's
Warner Brothers that produces it, and they might license it
somewhere else.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
Oh okay, so yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
Also, that Taylor Frankie Paul has vanished from social media
just happened, you know, a month or too late, but hey,
better late than never. Also sad, But the upcoming season
of Jersey Shore is the final season and the cast
is actively putting out manifestation into the world that they

(30:10):
don't want it to end and they want to go
to streaming now, so we'll see. I don't know, I
don't know. The show's they've been filming for like seventeen years.
They had a really good run, but they're not the Kardashians,
you know. Yeah, all right, that Alex Cooper, girl from
Call Her Daddy, has had some scandal recently involving her
husband being a dick to the staff at her company,

(30:32):
and they had an all hands meeting this past week
to address his alleged bad behavior, and neither she nor
her husband, who works there, showed up to the meeting.
That's pretty lame.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Also, Russell Brand gave an interview to Megan Kelly where
he admitted to sleeping with a sixteen year old girl
when he was thirty, and his rationale was, well, the
age of consent in the UK is sixteen, so it
was legal. Yeah, but he's accused by multiple women of rape,
and why even share this.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
That's a good point. I don't think i'd offer that up. Yeah,
because to his point, it's legal, non story. Whether it
may feel a little ick to us here because that's
not our law, but that's their law, so fine. And
I think that's kind of Russell Brand's point on everything,
Like if you want me to follow the rules, I
follow the rules. So in like if it came up
later on down the line and maybe someone was holding

(31:29):
it over his head, maybe somebody knew, God knows. I
have no idea but ultimately you're right, like, why talk
about any of your sexual escapades in the position that
you've found yourself in. Russell Brand doesn't seem to care.
That is his brand, if you will. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Well. In other news that David Singer, according to prosecutors,
not only is he going to be dealing with the
murder charge, but the prosecutors in Los Angeles claim that
they also discovered quote a six significant amount of child
sexual abuse images in his phone.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
Yeah, joy prison asshole.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
Also music related, Megan Trainer released a new song and
music video for this song called Shimmer. And I think
we spoke about this last week or the week before,
not even sometimes almost always, with some exceptions, there's just
this finite juice that artists have, and once they drink

(32:29):
all the juice there without it. This new Megan Trainer
song and music video is without it. And that's a
very polite way of putting it.

Speaker 1 (32:39):
I heard the song and it's it's an okay song.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
It's yeah, it's okay, it's fine. Yeah, but it's but
that's it.

Speaker 1 (32:46):
I don't think it's going to be some big monster hit.
But does everything have to be a big monster hit?
I don't know. Who's her fan base. I don't know.
I really don't know. I just like I've always said,
I just like her. She put that out.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
No, I like her too.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
Does it have that like all about that bass kind
of thing to it. No, I think she's starting to
morph into Paris Hilton.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
Oh totally.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
She really looks like her now, but she looks fantastic.
And speaking of it, I think I said it to you.
Megan Kelly. Is that her name, Megan Kelly? Yeah, she
was like bitching about her getting all.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
Yeah, shut the fuck up.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
I mean, seriously, shut up. If somebody wants to get skinny,
they're allowed to get skinny without being chastised because she
had a song about her curves.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
Well, so what Megan Kelly is the two thousand and
seven Perez Hilton. Now, she's just so toxic.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
I never thought listen, I never thought of you even
back then as mean. I just thought that you were
snarky and funny. Drawing dicks on people's faces is just funny, okay,
like it's not anything else but that, you know, but
I was mean too.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
We don't need to go into specifics.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
You know. I guess that didn't get to me and
I guess I'll take your word for it, but I
don't know. She's just she's like clickbait now.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
And she has to curse in every fucking video. Fuck
fuck fuck shit, So it really oh yeah, oh it's
crazy all right. Finally, gosh, this was a monster hit,
which makes me even sadder for my friend. The Michael
Jackson biopic made ninety seven million dollars at the US

(34:17):
box office?

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Did this week? Really? Yes? I didn't even realize it
was nice weekend?

Speaker 2 (34:22):
That million?

Speaker 1 (34:24):
And you want a debate that Taylor Swift's bigger than
Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson is the king of everything.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
And globally the film took in more than double that.
It took in two hundred and seventeen million globally.

Speaker 1 (34:36):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
And we talked about I think on a Patreon episode.
My friend kat Kat Graham was supposed to be in
the movie. She played Diana Ross, but then they had
all these reshoots because of the legal reality of things
contract that they couldn't dramatize the Jordie Chandler situation, so
they had to cut her character out, and then she
would have been in this major monster movie.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
I can't believe that made a hundred million dollars here.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
Wow. Not to be a Debbie downer, but I keep
seeing all these interviews with the guy who plays Michael,
which is one of his nephews, Jaffar Jackson. Everybody's saying, Oh,
you're you're gonna be such a big star now. But no,
he's not. Like, no, he's not. He's not.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
Honestly, I haven't seen enough of it to know if
he's got it.

Speaker 2 (35:24):
I mean, he's a good looking young man.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
But yeah, but it is a thing, you know what
I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
Yeah, I don't think he has it right.

Speaker 1 (35:31):
He may have it that he looks like Michael, But
like I said, I don't know. I've never seen him
in literally anything. I haven't even seen him in an interview,
So I don't know if he has it.

Speaker 2 (35:39):
No, I don't think so. Funny call, though I watched
a lot of interviews. All right, let's take a call
or two.

Speaker 3 (35:44):
Mary from Denver. I was listening to the podcast Booker
talking about sitting next to Dave girl. I used to
love him. Booker called him a great storyteller, which is
literally the name of his Namemore the storyteller. It's not
gonna lie. He really had me convinced, like the best
husband slash dad and then slot twist because of the

(36:06):
love child. Anyways, I was just wondering, Booka, do you
have any tea on that?

Speaker 1 (36:12):
To each his own? If you believed that he was
something that maybe he wasn't, and that bothers you, I
understand that we could go back to the earlier stories.
I don't know what's going on in people's marriages. I
have no fucking idea, nor do I care. I like
the art that he makes. The whole having a love
child thing was way out of left field. That was

(36:33):
not on my Bengo card. I didn't know anything about that.
I don't have any tea about it, and if I did,
I probably wouldn't drink it, you know what I mean,
or serve it to anyone else. So that's my thoughts
on it.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
Rock Stars pop stars, they're like NBA players hello.

Speaker 1 (36:49):
Yeah, and we often forget that. Perez makes the most
valid point, the rock stars the rock stars for a
fucking reason. None of these people we talk about are normal,
you know, they're not regular people, like they're just not.
Some of them may seem like they are, but most
of them have lost touch with reality at some point.

Speaker 2 (37:08):
Like I remember, wasn't there like a moment with Oprah
where she's like, I don't know how to pump gas
or something. I'm like, or like, Kim kardash God, this
is so stupid. Kim Kardashian revealed recently that she hasn't
been to a supermarket in over a decade.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
I'm like, girl, girl, you haven't run out of milk
once and just said I'm gonna run down to the market.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
Like, I don't know. That really leaves a sour taste
of like rotten milk in.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
My mouth, does it? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (37:39):
Because I understand she's worth a billion dollars, but I
don't want to be reminded how poor I am. You know,
in comparison, I don't think she's worth a billion dollars
A and B.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
I think that's just another headline thing. So we'll talk
about them. You know, that's their game, and they're good
at it. They're very, very good at it. So yeah,
I don't even think I believe her. How about that.

Speaker 2 (38:02):
I know I've seen huge stars in supermarkets.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
I've seen Rihanna all the time.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
Anyways, Well, Patreon dot com, slash Perez Hilton is where
you should be going to right now. If you've not
signed up, or if you have and didn't renew, it's
time to renew. Patreon dot com slash Perez Hilton. We
appreciate you all. Have a wonderful week.
