Speaker 2 (00:14):
Moments and one and only world famous Perez Perez Hilton.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
It's the PHP by Hello and welcome to the PHP
A booker. That's Perez. How you do it?
Speaker 3 (00:30):
I am good, I'm thankful. There is so much to
talk about this week. We are going to get into
Travis Scott and that Astro world disaster, Aaron Rodgers, dumb lies.
It's always fun when I talk sports, the latest on
Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, Kanye West at war with
(00:54):
his nannies, and Big Sean, Megan markle wild in It
Out and more. But first, how are you You're you're
like non stop dog sitting? What's it? What's what's the
term dog sitting? Now posting there we go?
Speaker 1 (01:11):
Yeah, well that dog just went back. We had a
dog that someone brought back and they only needed us
to keep it for like a week, four months old.
What a sweetheart. It was hard to give them back. Yeah,
so we're dog free at the moment. It's just our
dog and that's it. We're having some work done at
the house, so I'm kind of in a different location
if if you're watching in my laundry room. So there
(01:33):
you go.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Wow, that's your laundry room. I like it. Platinum plaques
behind me. Your laundry room looks a little bit cooler
than your office.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
How was your weekend? Did you do anything?
Speaker 1 (01:43):
We've been so busy with the dogs. It was basically
a clean up weekend where we had to clean up
the yard and the house because we're painting the entire
back of the house. So we've been sort of like
camping at our own house for a week. On top
of having all these dogs. It's just been crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
I had a pretty good weekend end, although I wasted
Friday and I hate wasting things.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
How did you do that? You fall asleep early?
Speaker 3 (02:05):
No. I went to the Beverly Center to try to
buy the new iPhone. They didn't have it at the
Beverly Center. They said, oh, we have some at the Grove.
I went to the Grove. They didn't have it there.
By the time I drove from the Beverly Center to
the Grove, they had sold out of whatever iPhones they had. Wow,
so that sucked. And then Saturday I went to a
(02:26):
gay baby shower, so that was nice, and I saw
the Eternals movie, which I won't give you guys any spoilers,
but I hated hate. It's like, it's the worst Marvel
film I've ever seen.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
I know nothing about them, and I just happened to
read something about this. The crux of the article was
that it blows and this is the worst Marvel movie
ever made.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
I agree with that, the worst Marvel movie ever. But
after the movies, we went to Umami Burger and that
was real nice, very nice. Offfelberger is magic. Oh my god.
Speaking of magic, I am only going to be eating
Magic Spoon for breakfast all week to make up for
(03:15):
the not so great eating I had this weekend. Magic
Spoon is a much healthier alternative to breakfast cereals, which
I've often also enjoyed as lunch or dinner because I'm
a control freak and I love knowing everything that is
(03:35):
in my bowl. One serving of Magic Spoon is only
one hundred and forty calories, zero grams of sugar protein
in there. It's gluten free, soy free, keto friendly, low carb,
and most Importantly, it's delicious and they recently brought back
(03:56):
two of their most popular flavors, Cookies and Cream and
may Pole Waffle permanently, so check them out. Go to

(04:38):
Spoon for sponsoring our podcast. I don't know how to
get into this because it's tragic, but the biggest story
right now because eight people died, is the tragedy in
Houston at Travis Scott's Astroworld festival. I'm not a big
Travis I'm not even I'm not a Travis Scott fan,
(04:59):
so I was isn't familiar with his aesthetic, with his
fan base, with his past, but over the weekend I
became acquainted with it and this man Kylie Jenner's baby
daddy has been arrested twice before for inciting riots at shows.
(05:20):
The official commercial for Astro World twenty twenty one showed
people at the last festival that he put on storming
the barricades and going in, and he tweeted in May
of this year, just after tickets for the festival sold out,
(05:41):
he tweeted encouraging people to sneak in. Listen. Obviously, encouraging
people to sneak in is not telling them to, you know,
stomp over people and things like that, but encouraging people
to sneak in creates and leads to an unsafe environment.
(06:02):
The tweet that he sent out said, nah, and we
still sneak in the wild ones in. He deleted that tweet,
by the way, so it's no longer up. And initially
TMZ was fed information by Travis Scott's camp that some
wild man person was going around and stabbing people with syringes.
(06:28):
The police spoke over the weekend and said that there
was only one reported case of something like that and
that was with a security guard. So to me, that
might have been a targeted attack against a security guard.
I think the consensus is this could have and should
(06:50):
have been avoidable. I'm not clearly a crowd control expert,
but I've read multiple articles from crowd control experts about
mistakes and things this festival did wrong that if they
had not done these, people would have most likely been alive.
And Travis Scott was not just a performer, this is
(07:13):
his festival. He organized this, so it's awful all around.
I think they might already be in major trouble for
not well, maybe Kylie Jenner specifically. The lawsuits have already begun.
Some lawsuits have already been filed against Travis Scott, and
Kylie Jenner spoke out saying that neither she nor Travis
(07:38):
were aware of the casualties during the show. You know,
you know how things work when artists of that caliber
are performing in concert, they have this thing on ninety
nine percent of them. Maybe like there's an exception out there,
but almost all modern artists, includings, have in ear monitors
(08:02):
where they can hear themselves and the front of house
foh or his team can also speak to him. They
can communicate to the artist.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Well, you can't really hear that. I mean, it's not
like you're a quarterback. You're hearing the music mix.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
Yeah, but at times where the music is like there
were points during the concert during his set where the
music was not playing, his team was communicator, could have
been communicating with him. All I'm trying to say is
if Kylie Jenner now says that we didn't know there
were any casualties during the performance, and if in these
(08:38):
lawsuits they subpoena all audio tracks, including his in ear monitors,
and if we find out, but who cares. What I'm
getting at is, here's the question. If Travis Scott was
aware that there were casualties during his performance, you would know. Well,
(09:00):
that's not what I'm asking you. I'm saying if because
here's the.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
Thing, So if the sky falls, who should we sue?
Speaker 3 (09:06):
Well, I've read up a lot about this.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Who cares? I mean, you're really you're so far in
the rabbit care I'm just being honest with you. You're
so far in this rabbit hole. It's boring.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
Well, I'm not trying to make it exciting. This is
this is people die.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
People probably die at shows all of the time. People
have heart attacks. It shows people trip and fall, it
shows people fall off of high rise people. I mean,
people die all the time.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Eight people don't die at concerts all this.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Let me get you've talked for a half an hour.
Let me give you my take on this. Okay, here's
the deal. First of all, I did read up. The
people that died were far back. They weren't in the front.
You couldn't even see it. Most concerts, most the shows
that I've been to, and metal shows in particular metal shows,
there's a lot of this squishing, and you'll see bands
stop and kind of tell everybody to move back and
step back because they visually can see things happening in
(09:56):
front of them. They say, well, well, what people are
getting pushed and pushed The people died or in the back,
not in the front, so you don't necessarily see that.
And if somebody passes out because of drugs or exhaustion
or out of breath, you wouldn't relay that to the singer.
I mean, he's not listening to the fucking news in
his headset. Okay, he's doing a show. He has no
(10:17):
idea what's going on. That's what's happening. Number two, The
most important thing. This doesn't matter if you put on
Astra World tomorrow, as many people would show up if
not more. People don't care. They go to these things
and they want this experience. They want this many people
they want this kind of thing. That's what they sign
up for. I promise you if you did the show today,
(10:39):
the same amount of people would show up. People have
been getting smushed at shows for years. This isn't anything new.
It's a horrible tragedy, is what it is. That's it.
I mean, you're diving into who's responsible in this and
that does he have a responsibility to watch the crowd
in front of him and make sure that nothing's happening. Sure? Maybe.
But another thing is he's a hip hop artist, which
(11:01):
tells me he's performing two track, which like rock bands,
they'll just stop playing get back it off. But that
track just goes and goes and goes.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
There were points that there was no music and he
was talking to the audience anyways. Authorities proclaimed it a
mass casualty event sometime in the nine o'clock hour, and
after that he kept on performing for thirty seven minutes,
according to authorities. I definitely believe he is partly to blame.
(11:31):
Is it his fault? No, But he is partly to blame.
He's legally going to be held responsible. I don't know
if criminally the same will be true.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
That'll be the question. Because he has insurance and the
venue has insurance, they'll be the people that would have
to pay any of this.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
I'm sure insurance will fight them. If insurance says, well,
you should have been doing that and you didn't do this,
and he doesn't.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
He's not the guy at the gate that takes the tickets, Okay,
he's just a performer's signs up to festival that he
organized his festival. You're right, and if his name is
on it, then they're probably going to be somewhat liable.
But they have insurance for these types of things. The
bottom line is we're in the midst of COVID and
much like the concert business, or much like the restaurant business,
or any freaking business, everyone is severely understaffed right now
(12:20):
and there's not enough people doing the jobs that are
safety precaution jobs. You look at the airlines, all these
flights that are canceled and canceled and canceled.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
Well, actually that's not true. According to the police in Houston,
there were more security personnel realking Astra World than they
were at the Super at the World Series.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
That's a different crowd too. You got people in seats
versus you know, people on the field. That's a completely
different scenario. I don't know if that means that there's
enough I do believe.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
I recall the number was over a thousand security personnel.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
Say a million. I don't know how many typically you'd need,
And I don't know how many people are engaged in
truly doing their jobs are supposed to now. I just
think it's a product of there's just not enough people
doing what they're supposed to be doing anymore. Everyone's just like,
oh well, I personally wouldn't go to a show like
that at this point in time. I just wouldn't just
looking at the.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
World the way you want to Coachella.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
I wouldn't go to Coachella and go into a pit. No,
But I'm not a go into a pit kind of person.
I think people like that festival seating and that being
squished up against somebody not for me like that.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
I'm with you, bro, that's one of the reasons I've
never been to Coachella.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
I am post up in the wings, guy with a drink.
That's always been me. I'm never been the person that's like,
I need to get in here and I need to
be with the people. Fuck all that. I can hear
the music fine from twenty yards to the left of
the crap that's happening, you know, to each his own.
Like I said, people would show up tomorrow, they would
sell it out and do the same thing. People like
that shit.
Speaker 3 (13:52):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
I think people like dying.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
But there is an assumption that people make when they
go to a festival that they're gonna be safe.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
I've been to a lot of metal shows and rock
shows in my life. I would never go into that
because I don't assume I'm gonna come out Okay, I
don't assume that I'm not gonna get squashed. I don't know.
That's kind of using some sense. But as I said,
people are into that. People like that. People want to
be a part of that, that breathing, moving crowd in
the sway. Fuck all that. I have no interest in
(14:23):
that shit.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
Well, my heart goes out to all of the families
of the eight people. And there are still some people hospitalized.
I don't know an update, but I even saw that
there's still a ten year old that is hospitalized in
critical condition rapper Roddy Rich has said that he's going
to be donating all the money that he made from
performing at Astro Worlds to the families, and Travis Scott
(14:47):
has not made any kind of pledge like that.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Well, that may be assuming some sort of blame if
you do so, so I think there's a lot of
legal implications by doing that. So look, I wouldn't be
surprised if he did down the line, but they got
to do it in a strategic way. He doesn't want
to get sued. He's going to get sued if you
said he really runs the fact like his name is.
I know his name is on it, but I don't know.
(15:11):
It's like saying some of the clothing lines that these
artists have are theirs.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
No they're not.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
That's just their name.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
He had a promoter. He did it in partnership with
Live Nation.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Which is also shocking that this also happened at a
Live Nation event, because it's like Live Nation and AEG
they're the biggest promoters in the country.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
Let me get this right. You're shocked that people take
profit over safety. What I'm not.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
Or that they let the celebrity have their way with
if you know, if they were advising him to do
something else and he said, no, I want to do
it this way.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
There's a fire code for every building. And my question
is were they over it? But then again, it was
an outdoor space. But that was a stadium, right was
it an NRG. Yeah, yeah, that's a state. So what
if the people from the top came to the bottom.
That's always the question. But that's a security question, like
that shouldn't happen, like you shouldn't be able to go
(16:08):
from one section to another. But when it gets crazy
like that, when this chaos people rush the gates. Then
they rush the gates. There's nothing. You know, what are
you gonna do as a security card? Nothing you're gonna
go Okay, well there you go. I'm not fighting all
these people. It's terrible, But like I said, people would
go again tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
I don't know if I agree with that. I don't
know if I agree with that. All Right, on to
lighter news. I have a cheesy couple's name for Kim
Kardashian and Pete Davidson. Courtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are Cravis.
Kim and Pete are Pim. I like it Pim. I
(16:52):
mean I really couldn't think of any other one that
was better than Pim. There was Kim Pete, but that
sounded too much like kim chi and just not good. Pim.
I really like Pim. It's simple, it's catchy. I don't
even get it Pete and Kim Pim.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
That doesn't work.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
It does Cravis work?
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Well, I at least get it. It's stupid as well.
It's the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard. How could
you not get Kim pim? You mean, yeah, Pim?
Speaker 3 (17:17):
Sorry? How could you not get Kim pim?
Speaker 1 (17:20):
It's not long enough, it doesn't have enough syllables. It
needs multiple syllables. I understand it. Pim Pim. You would
not think of those two people when you say a
one syllable word. You just wouldn't. You'd think of like,
I don't even know, Pim. I would think of a
drink or something.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
I don't know if you guys have a better nickname.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
There is no nickname. Okay, let's just put the nickname
thing to rest. It's a dumb fucking idea.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
People love nicknames. I love nicknames. Anyways, Pim is heating up.
They went from Los Angeles and their handholding at Not
Scary Farm to multiple dates in New York City, some
of which were in group settings, and one of which
(18:04):
was a solo one on one date that got everybody talking,
not just because it was the two of them by themselves,
but Kim Kardashian went all the way to Staten Island.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
What she crossed the bridge bridge?
Speaker 3 (18:23):
There's no bridge to Stanton Island, Isn't this there is?
Speaker 1 (18:25):
That's how you get the Staten.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
I thought it was only a ferry.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
No, what's about damn bridge that goes from the Verzantos.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
I've never been to Staten Island.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
It's horrible.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
It's hard.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
It's weird that it's so close to New York City
and it's such a dump.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
It is Oh, it's a dump.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
Yeah, listen, they're fucking if she's going to Staten Island,
they are definitely doing it.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
When I lived in New York City, like, I hate it,
even going to meet up with somebody in Brooklyn.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
Well, Brooklyn's hard. I mean you gotta like go all
the way across the bottom of Manhattan and take a
bridge or the subway and then you gotta navigate once
you get there, Like Jersey City's easy, take the path
and you're there.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
Actually, Jersey City was way easier because I used to
live in the villa on the West Side. Yeah yeah,
or like but even like meeting somebody up in like
Washington Heights, I'm like, you want me to spend thirty
minutes plus in the subway to get all the way
up there to one and two hundred and fifth fifteenth
Street or whatever. Anyways, they're totally doing it right. They
gotta be, or she just loves the attention that much.
(19:24):
But I think it's both. I think it's both.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
But to me, it seems petty. If they're not dating,
it's petty as fuck because she needs attention. And it
could be she needs something to do on this television show,
risking your life and going to shitty Staten Island. Maybe
that's just fun. Were their cameras following them? That's another question.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Oh, there were no cameras.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
I mean, I guess it's something to talk about on
the show.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
How are things with Pete Pim They're such an odd couple.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
They're not a couple. I'm not buying it.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
They're totally a couple.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
I think Pete Davidson is a lot thirstier than I
think I thought he was. I already knew she is.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
Yeah, he only dates famous girls. He can't date like
a regular girl.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
But the thing is, his dick keeps telling the story.
There's a lot of celebrities that can just go out
and date people and you never know, but you just
keep reading about one to the next, to the next,
to the next, like a publicist. Seems to be involved
in every single relationship, every single fling, every single thing.
So to me, it just says that he really is
(20:26):
on this press train, gets it, is doing it for that.
I just can't really see it any other way. I
think that he.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
Loves this, he loves it, she loves it, and they're
totally dating at the couple. I don't see them lasting,
at least with Courtney and Travis. They're both around the
same age, they both have children, they both live in
the same city. Kim is forty, Pete is in his twenties.
Kim has four children, Pete has no children.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
You know, like, yeah, it doesn't work at all, but
it doesn't. She just wants to peek at that pen.
That's what she wants. To see.
Speaker 3 (21:04):
He gives men hope, you know, because he's not like
what many would consider good looking.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Well, he's funny. All you gotta do is be funny.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
I don't know if that's all you've got to do.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
Listen. I've had a lot of girlfriends in my life.
You think this face got me any of them? No,
you gotta have a sense of humor.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
When you were younger, you weren't as haggard. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
I was never really beautiful either.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
I mean I never said you were beautiful.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
I hung out with good looking dudes all the time,
and I would see I can at least tell you
that while hanging out with good looking dudes, like really
good looking dudes, I would see girls just throw themselves
at them, to the point where I would sit there
and say, I must be fucking heinous, because no girl
has ever come up to me or ever like started
talking to me or been like, hey, you know you
(21:50):
look like you got something going on. Ever. But if
I go out with my let me give you a
good example. Give my buddy a plug, Brian mcfaden that
worked at MTV. We would go out all the time
and girls would just throw themselves at him, and I'm like,
he's good looking. The girls that were with him, I
could have been like on fire and they wouldn't have
looked my way. Let me tell you the other time,
there was one time I've never seen anything like it
(22:10):
in my life. I went out with my buddy from
the Stern Show, Who's Buddies with John Stamos. I have never, ever,
ever in my life seen so many women literally just
it didn't matter who they were. They were like dogs
panting at him and just like just to get his attention.
And I don't even know how you walk through life
(22:32):
like that, people just wanting to do it with you constantly.
Even in my height of fame, I never experienced anything
like that.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
That's like zach Efron, John Stamos.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
I can't imagine he's got to have the same thing.
I bet he walks into a room and it's just
like crazy, Like even Bieber doesn't have it. Like I
was at a sushi placed once and Bieber was standing
like right literally right next to me and all the girls.
I mean, everyone looks because he's a fish in a
bowl and everyone's looking. But I enjoyed more looking at
the people to see how much they were freaking out.
(23:03):
So I'm like checking out the girls, and all the
girls kept saying one thing. They said, over and over,
he's so tiny, He's so little. Still wasn't the staymost thing.
The stay moost thing was like they were drunk. They
were fucking roofied in his presence. It was unbelievable. I've
never seen anything like that in my life.
Speaker 3 (23:20):
Oh good times. Well from Kim to her still husband,
Kanye West, Kanye is still calling Kim Kardashian his wife.
He gave an explosive new interview on this podcast where
he drank a lot, which that sounds fun but is
(23:44):
dangerous because Kanye is already unfiltered. Yeah, but then you
get him unfiltered and drunk.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Yeah, you get him loubed up on top of it.
But the problem with Kanye is he says so much
nonsensical bullshit. It doesn't even matter that he's strung. I'm
so to the point with him. I've tuned out to
everything he says because he says so much, and most
of it's just gibberish, and it's feeding his own ego,
and it's on and on, and it's just boring. He's
(24:12):
just boring. To me, like he's not thought out when
he talks, and I'm not saying that he's an idiot,
or and he he just says too much.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
I'll disagree. You know, that interview was like two and
a half hours long, and I actually watched almost all
of it.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
And you won't watch the Crown, but you'll watch some
idiot talk to Kanye. Well that sounds great.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
It was fascinating. You know, he was trash talking. He
was just saying, well, that sounds fun. Yeah, he was
trash talking everybody. Apparently, he was very offended and upset
that he did not get more support when he ran
for president. He took that very seriously. And there was
a publicist. This is one of my This is one
(24:53):
of the best parts. There was a publicist in the
interview that I think must have been Kim's publicist or
like the family's publicist or the brands. I don't fucking know,
because he was insulting his own publicist during the interview.
He was like, yeah, I don't fuck with her. I'm like,
oh my god, I think I know who that is too. Anyways,
(25:17):
Kanye recently, allegedly, according to reports, has gotten himself a
new girlfriend, even though he's still calling Kim Kardashi and
his wife, and even though he still wants to get
back together with her. No, they're not divorced. He is
said to be dating model the net Tria and Amede
(25:38):
The net Tria Amede, a model seems like the kind
of perfect person for Kanye. You know, somebody that he
could control.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
That doesn't say much if it's that.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
Kind of model, you know who goes along for the ride.
All right, we're talking to Megan Markle craziness in a second.
But first, do you own or rent your home? Sure?
You do, and I bet it could be hard work.
You know what's easy bundling policies with Geico. Geico makes
it easy to bundle your homeowners or renter's insurance along
with your auto policy. It's a good thing too, because
(26:09):
you already have so much to do around your home.
Go to Geico dot com, get a quote and see
how much you could save. It's Geico easy. Visit Geico
dot com today. That's Geico dot com. All right. Megan
Markel lives in America. She's American, she is connected and
(26:32):
recently there was a lot of debate leading up to
the passing of you know, the big infrastructure bill, and
one of the big issues was paid family leave. So
Megan Markel took it upon herself to somehow get the
private phone numbers of several Republican senators and she called
(26:55):
them up to lobby for paid family leave. Do you
think that's presumptuous of her to call them like on
their cell phones and expect them to pick up and
talk to her.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
Of course it is. But at the end of the day,
I uh, you know, she annoys me typically, But at
the end of the day, I kind of like that
because she's just trying to do some good.
Speaker 3 (27:16):
I get that, but big But I answered.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Your question, Yes, it's presumptuous, it'd be. I think it's
interesting and I like it. I'm glad she did.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
I don't like it. I would rather really no, because
I hate cold calling. I hate people who cold call me.
Speaker 1 (27:30):
Yeah, but who picks up the phone if exactly you
know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (27:32):
But these senators actually picked up the phone. That's the
crazy thing.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
If I don't know a number, this is zero percent chance.
Then it's always like, hey, it's the VET. You need
to call me back, Like fuck, you know that you do?
Speaker 3 (27:43):
No me too. I never pick up. But and even
if she would have left a message, I find that annoying.
I hate impromptu calls. I want I'm a schedule a
call kind of guy. So thankfully that whole thing passed.
But she really thinks highly of herself.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
Was that ever debatable? That's what's annoying about her. But
I sort of like that with this instance, because ultimately
she's trying to do some good.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
Well, speaking of issues, Aaron Rodgers from the NFL. He's
a quarterback. I know that he's with Green Bay. I
know that that's in Michigan. He lied about his vaccination
status Green Bays in Wisconsin. Oh it is, Oh shoot.
(28:35):
Then he tried to backtrack and claim I didn't lie.
I said I was immunized because he took some kind
of alternative treatment that his doctor gave him, that it
was not the COVID vaccine. Then he went on this
podcast and said said that the woke mob was against
(28:55):
him and trying to cancel him. And my favorite part
it's he said that he presented the NFL with five
hundred pages of research because he didn't think that getting
the COVID vaccine was necessary or that even mask wearing
(29:15):
was effective.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
He also claimed, by the way I listened to this
whole thing, you.
Speaker 3 (29:20):
Listen to that whole thing. Yeah, the Pat McAfee show,
it was amazing. He also said that he's now friends
with Joe Rogan and he's taking advice from Joe Rogan.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
Don't forget the flat earther's part.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
He also said that he's taking Invermicton.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
Which is adwormer.
Speaker 3 (29:38):
Yeah, the FDO, which the.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
Company itself said that you shouldn't use it for COVID.
It's insane how much misinformation out there. But he was
talking about like the research that he does. Dude, he
was like, well, you know, I'm a critical thinker. And
then the next sentense he's talking about Joe Rogan and
this stuff, and he said he's not part of the
you know, the anti vaxers or flat earthers and all
this stuff. And then the next set that he contradicts himself,
(30:02):
and then he said he didn't lie about the inoculation
thing or whatever the fuck he's calling it. It's just
you've never heard anything so nonsensical in your life.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
Well, he said that. He repeatedly said he did not lie.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Yeah, you have to hear it.
Speaker 3 (30:15):
It's about he says, it was the truth. And I'll
get into the whole immunization in a second.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
Well, he said he's allergic to something in the Maderna
and the Pfizer and he can only take Johnson and Johnson.
And he didn't take Johnson and Johnson because you know,
they had some plotting issues, you know, in like two
fucking people out of a million or something, which went
right back on the market when they found out everything
was fine. That's the things he said were just nonsensical.
And you're just sitting there going you're a fucking quarterback,
(30:41):
throw the fucking ball.
Speaker 3 (30:42):
Shut up.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
Quit spreading this misinformation out there. And by the way,
if he wants to play for my team, the Steelers,
I'm all in fine. Such a good quarterback.
Speaker 3 (30:50):
He's not that young though he doesn't have that many years. Actually,
tom Brady's still got it.
Speaker 1 (30:55):
I mean, he just has more skill than anyone in
the NFL.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
More than Tom Brady.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
Oh yeah, for sure. Yes. Tom Brady though, is a
unicorn because he truly puts the team in front of
himself and that's what makes him so amazing. And he
takes so much less money because He's like, Hey, I
want to play for longer, and I want to get
the best guys that are standing in front of me
(31:19):
to protect me. Some of these quarterbacks they take all
the money in the world and they break the bag
and you know, I got the highest pay. It's short
sighted because you need you need the right people around
you to win, and winning equals getting paid. Tom Brady
can do endorsements for the rest of his life because
he's a world champion over and over. That's what champions do,
(31:41):
and that's what makes him special. It's not the fact
that you've got the highest fucking contract. The guy ok
or Vegas has a high contract, they're not gonna win
shit ever. Okay, they sucked the Raiders blow because of
the point I just made. You have to be a
little selfless and that's what makes Brady great. But when
it comes to pure talent, Aaron Rodgers, without question is
(32:02):
the most talented person of the NFL.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
You know what I find really odd, or maybe it
makes perfect sense. You know, Aaron Rodgers and his whole
vaccine moment. I would guess you know, it's it's what
a lot of conservatives or right wing people say. But
he is engaged to Shyleen Woodley, who is not who
(32:26):
is not only liberal, but she's ultra progressed.
Speaker 1 (32:31):
She's a wack ofdodle.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
On top of it, she's a hardcore progressive, hardcore liberal.
How does that relationship make sense.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
She's in his ear giving him this nonsense.
Speaker 3 (32:42):
She didn't really speak directly on this, but Shyleen Woodley
did post on Instagram story this quote that said, calm
sees may bring you peace, but storms are where you'll
find your power.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
I love when people post this horse shit on Instagram,
when they have like, you know, these paragraphs of serenity
and call but all like anyone's reading any of this
fucking shit. They're like, you get the first line from me,
and that's it. You could give away a fucking house
at the end of your post, and you never give
away that fucking house because no one's reading this crap.
It's almost a form of narcissism. You've got to put this,
(33:23):
all these thoughts in this everything about you and the universe,
and it's going to come to you in my zen
and my fucking you're a whack job, like shut up.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
Chloe Kardashian loves those quotes. She must be a nutjob
all right. On to more health related issues. Tiger King
star Joe Exotic reveals that his cancer is very aggressive,
much worse than he previously thought, and because of that,
(33:58):
he wants to be released early from prison. Do you
think he should.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
Be released from prison? Yeah? I'm an animal guy, So
anybody that subjects animals to that sort of life I'm
not going to support. I also would not wish cancer
upon anyone. I don't care what you've done. It just
seems awful and it's uh.
Speaker 3 (34:19):
I don't get it. Don't in prison? You get Do
they have prison hospitals? How does that work?
Speaker 1 (34:24):
Sure? Yeah, I mean you probably get better care there
than you would being out in gen Pop without health insurance.
I think a lot of people know that if you're
really sick, you could go get yourself arrested, and you
go into the you know the system, and in some
cases you might get better care, which is an indictment
upon our country and how things are so screwed up.
Speaker 3 (34:44):
Yeah. I don't think he should be released early either,
but I wish him well. Update on Zane Malik, his
career is not in a very good place right now.
He has been dropped by his record label, and his
manager and sponsors have also dropped him, although insiders claim
(35:06):
that he was dropped by his label before all of
this happened, which I believe because his last album flopped
so hard and his music has not been good for years.
Outside of that initial single, othough, there were some other
songs of him.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
It was a song with Taylor that was pretty good.
Speaker 3 (35:25):
Right, That one was good. It was a song for
like the fifty Shades of Great. Yeah, but that was
good because of Taylor Swift.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
You know, Taylor doesn't put out crap.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
Yeah, that was a hit song. So sucks for Zane
Malick in more music news, this was surprising. Ed Sheeran's
new album debuted at number one on the Billboard Album chart,
but it only moved one hundred and eighteen thousand albums.
(35:57):
By comparison, those Taylor Swift re records have done so
much more well.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
She's doing vinyl too.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
Ed Shearon did it vinyl as well, but.
Speaker 1 (36:08):
Her fan base is a little bit more rabid. It's
like two people, Her and Adell have those fan bases
that are just they could shit on a plate and
literally move product. The vinyl the March everything else. It
doesn't shock me that much. I mean, I'm a fan
and I would just listen to the streaming album. I
don't think it says much. I think it's just more.
It says that it's the it's just the times now
(36:30):
people weren't listening to it or consuming it, which I
believe they are. I mean a lot of people seem
to be talking about it. I would be worried.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
I mentioned last week I love the album. Yeah, his
tour will be the real test. Like I mean last
tour he was playing stadiums. Yeah, I was just surprised
about that, all right. Speaking of music, post Malone and
The Weekend released a joint single. It's called one Right Now,
and it's it's like going to see a Marvel movie, right.
(36:59):
It's like, it's a good way to put it, soullless,
it's there's nothing special about it. It's a formula But
I love Marvel movies and I love this song that
they did together. There's nothing quote special about it, but
it's a hit to me.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
I listened to it right when you sent it, and
I forget what I responded, but something to the effect
of it's formulaic or it's it's everything they've ever done.
But I like it. It's not great, but it's it's comfortable.
Maybe that's the word, it's comfortable.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
By the way, Adele is going on three weeks at
number one on the Billboard Hot one hundred.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
Not at all shocked.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
I still think it's a big hit. You think it's not, well, no, no, no,
I still Oh, now you're backtracking.
Speaker 1 (37:43):
I never not loved this song.
Speaker 3 (37:45):
You didn't think it was a hit.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
Now, keep in mind all of the hot AC stations,
which is the only format that's playing it.
Speaker 3 (37:51):
That's not true. I hear her on Kiss and am oh.
Speaker 1 (37:54):
They're playing it on Kiss Still. I didn't know they
were still playing it.
Speaker 3 (37:56):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
Back to my point, all of the hot ACE stations
have now flipped the Christmas music, so a lot of
the airplay will disappear this week until next year. Now
if it comes back next year, But keep in mind,
I love that song. Maybe it is a quote hit.
It's a doubt. It's hard to say what's a hit
with her. She's so fucking big. Even if the song blew,
it would still be played. But it doesn't blow. It's great.
(38:19):
Let's call it a hit. Fuck it I'm wrong, it's
a hit.
Speaker 3 (38:21):
You were wrong. Like the perfect example is that Taylor
Swift song Look What You Made Me Do? That was
number one on the Hot one hundred, But I would
not call that song a hit.
Speaker 1 (38:31):
We were in agreement exactly.
Speaker 3 (38:32):
Okay, easy on Me is a hit in my opinion.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
Maybe it is only time will tell I like it.
Don't get me wrong, all right.
Speaker 3 (38:40):
From music to TV or music television sort of, Jennifer
Hudson is throwing her hat in the ring. She wants
to follow in the footsteps of fellow American idol alum
Kelly Clarkson and is pitching a new talk show with
the producers behind the Ellen Degenerois Show.
Speaker 1 (39:04):
Huh, I'd like to be the DJ do it where
the guy that sits over there are just mocks everything
that the host says.
Speaker 3 (39:10):
That would be fun for me do it.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
She seems talented. I can see it. I don't know, though,
I don't know if I've heard her talk enough about
other things. People talking about themselves and being interviewed and
asked questions constantly. That gets boring with anybody. It's when
you step out of that and you start talking about
other people. You gotta be willing to do that to
be on a talk show. A lot of these people,
I think they take the show and then they don't
(39:33):
do that. Then you're like, well, you got to be
able to pull yourself away from celebrity and be a
regular Joe and talk about regular Joe things.
Speaker 3 (39:40):
Yeah. I think Kelly Clarkson has done a great job.
Drew Barrymore, on the other hand, okay enough, but I
don't think she's excelled on her talk show.
Speaker 1 (39:50):
It's hard when you've been famous your entire life. That's
interesting in itself, but that wears off, like you if
you've lived a normal life before. Allen had a whole
life and an interesting backstory, and I think that's the difference.
Speaker 3 (40:04):
I've still been watching. I haven't even really mentioned it.
I've been watching every episode of Dancing with the Stars
for still watching this season so fun. I watch it
on YouTube. But the best way to watch TV whether
you own or rent your home. Geico makes it easy
to bundle home and car insurance. Having a home is
(40:26):
hard work, so get a quote at Geico dot com,
easy hypers HyperCard.
Speaker 4 (40:32):
This is Manila from the Jersey. I like to look
to your podcast a Mica doors. But I live in
a Jersey and I'm calling just about Jiulanda had to
grandmother and going to the guy's house. I understand the
rest because she's Latino, and a Latino we like to
shot up at people's house uninvited. Hi, I am married
(40:54):
to a gringo on American, so I know you guys
like to be announced. Don't you show up to people's
houses you expect to be announced.
Speaker 1 (41:02):
So that's why I.
Speaker 4 (41:03):
Was laughing so hard, because TUIs is what's Toronto? Grandma
just shows up and everything, and I'm like, I know
Americans don't like THATCA don't like people coming there.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
I literally thought the same thing.
Speaker 3 (41:14):
But is not even American. He's not white. Maybe one
of his parents is white.
Speaker 1 (41:19):
I think just her point is it's a Latino thing
where Latina's to show up. Most cultures don't. It's annoying.
Speaker 2 (41:26):
Grandma guy just wanted to weigh in on the whole
Yolanda singing. I watched the Beverly Hills Housewives. She's a lot.
That doesn't mean she deserved whatever happens. But I do
know in reading some of this stuff that he believes
she's the one that leaked the pregnancy, so I think
that was already in his anger towards hers. She's quite
(41:50):
the helicopter mother. Maybe she comes over unannounced a lot
more than just once. She probably still asserts herself in
their life a lot, as she did on the show.
She struggled with line disease on the show, and then
all of a sudden she seems to be fine. I
know that is not a reason to do whatever he did,
(42:12):
but like Bolker said, I do think there's two sides.
I have a feeling that this has been boiling on
the stove for years and it just boiled over anyway.
So that's my two cents.
Speaker 1 (42:25):
I'm not saying what he did was right, yeah, or
you're not even saying you know what he did. I mean,
that's just one side of the store. That's her side
of the story. Her family side of the story doesn't
make it true. It doesn't make it untrue either.
Speaker 3 (42:37):
I mean, obviously she probably has not liked him for
a while, but she's still the grandmother of his child.
Speaker 4 (42:44):
Hi, this is Melody calling from North San Luan, California,
and I just wanted to tell you guys, I fairly
enjoy your show.
Speaker 3 (42:54):
I love your banter.
Speaker 2 (42:55):
I like it when you guys get mad at each other.
Speaker 3 (42:58):
And Booker, I love the Trechia.
Speaker 2 (43:00):
Keep on being a straight shooter, shooting from the hips,
keeping pars online.
Speaker 1 (43:04):
And have a great day.
Speaker 3 (43:06):
Guys.
Speaker 1 (43:06):
Want to do you want more here?
Speaker 3 (43:07):
Sure?
Speaker 2 (43:08):
Hey, guys, this is Gail from PIA Love you and
listening to the podcast for here calling about Kim Kardashian.
Speaker 3 (43:16):
P gave them super interesting. But one thing that no
one has mentioned, or you guys have mentioned, is maybe
she's just.
Speaker 2 (43:24):
Curious to see how big he really is. Got to
say that was my initial thoughts. Sooner by her they
were holding hands.
Speaker 3 (43:33):
Maybe she just wants to know.
Speaker 1 (43:34):
All right, love you guys, bye, Yeah, I want to know.
Let me see that coc all right.
Speaker 3 (43:39):
Well, that's one way to end things. I wouldn't say
it's just for that, okay. You know, everybody wants to
feel special and excited about something new and a distraction
and attention and all of that.
Speaker 1 (43:53):
I mean, she's one of the most famous people on
the planet. It's got to be interesting to kind of
just see what the circle looks like and to talk
about it like I'm trying to put myself in Pete
Davids and she's say, Kim Kardashian was all of a
sudden interested in me and I'm single. Would I completely
just say no right off the bat. Probably not. I
think I would be sort of interested to see, you know,
what's going on over there. Let me have a little peak,
(44:14):
you know, so you can't blame him if she takes
a peek down there, I can't blame her either.
Speaker 3 (44:17):
Why not, they've gotten peaks, Pim peaks.
Speaker 1 (44:24):
Pim is dubber than Cravis, No way, I hope it
catches all.
Speaker 3 (44:28):
Is better than Cravis. Absolutely. All right, everybody, have a
great week. Appreciate you, Thank you for watching and listening.
Share our show with your friends and we'll see you
next week.
Speaker 1 (44:41):
Take care, guys.
Speaker 3 (44:45):
