the media to their party. The entire Good Morning America
crew was there, the hosts, the anchors, Robin Roberts, George Stefanopolis,
and Michael Strahan. They revealed some details, like they confirmed
that Stevie Nick's performed. It was also confirmed that Paul
McCartney performed. I mean, first, let's just look at everybody

that was there. Some of the most unusual names, I
would say are Hugh Grant, right, Taylor just invited celebrity
fans like Hugh Grant had no connection to Taylor other
than his children liked her music.

It felt like were they even able to go say

it was the Graham Norton show. She was talking about
her future in a wedding and what it would be like,
and she said that people have a hard time like

If you were on the AB list in Hollywood, I
guess you were invited. It was wild to see these

of a wedding.

we do know some concrete things. We know that Taylor
and Travis donated twenty six million dollars to charities ahead
of their wedding, which I think that was very nice.
Of course, the CEO of AMC spilled a lot of
tea and then deleted that post on social media.

Yeah, he said it was a pink themed affair. The
wedding was held a level up from the floor of
Madison Square Garden. The arena floor was for the after party.
There was no traditional wedding party. There were no bride'smaids
or groomsmen, although there was a best man that was
Jason's brother. That was Travis's brother Jason, and then there

was a man of honor Taylor's brother Austin, and Jason's
daughters were little flower girls that littered the way before
Taylor made her appearance. Apparently she had a very very
long veil, was dressed in Dior couture, and Travis also
was dressed in Dior war white. That's a very Travis

most men would wear white to their.

vows there in front of people?

In a very buzzworthy moment that got a lot of
media attention. Adam Sandler was the officiant and he also
performed for the couple. Unclear what it was. I think
it was an original song just for the wedding, that's
what I read. Yeah, And why the festivities, It was

catered by all of her favorite restaurants. I think in
addition to the Selena moment, two other moments really stand
out that just exemplify what this wedding was all about. First,
according to reports, Taylor walked down the aisle to her
own song love Story.

Okay, that's cute. Yeah, it's her love story. Yeah, that's cool.

And then also all the guests got a little keepsake
handkerchiefs with a lyric from one of her songs, So
It's Gonna Be Forever, which I think is sweet because
that's allegedly one of Travis's favorite songs. He said in
the past, I think that it was his favorite song,
you know. So I still go back to what we
said the first time when we talked about Madison Square Garden.

I believe they could have had this level of security
and safety anywhere and privacy, but they did it in
Madison Square garden.

It makes sense, though. You want to be in a hub.
You want to be somewhere where it's not hard for
celebrities to get there. Let's say she did it at
her place.

In Rhode Island.

Rhode Island, thank you. It's impossible to get there. You'd
have to find accommodations. This that the other thing. There's hotels,
easy to get there if you're coming in from Los
Angeles fourth of July weekend, city's empty. Easy to book
that weekend for sure, So that to me makes a
lot of sense. The only other city would be Los Angeles,
were potentially maybe Vegas, but no one wants She's not.

That's tacky to get married in Vegas. So I think
it's fitting and it makes sense. And to have somewhere
that's centralized, like I still like the original idea of
the Silver Cup studios. That to me feels a little
like it could have been a little bit more special.
But once again, you've made it easy for catering. Centralized hub.
Everything is dead smack right in the middle of the city,

easy access in and out, easy to secure, which I
love that. People bitch about that those blocks, the blocks
that she shut down, do you know how many apartments
are on those blocks. Zero, not one. It's not like
anybody was put out. Okay, by the way, the garden
has events thirty forty thousand people all the time. This
was one thousand people. Big deal, it's a big deal.

They put a tent up over the vip entrance. They
do that anyhow, when there's a concert, they shut down
the street so the trucks can get in and out
for catering. This and that. Like, this is also silly
to me, people bitching about you don't need thirty third
Street to cross town. Go up to thirty fifth Street
then or thirty seventh Street. It's not a hard thing
to get around. And it's not like that's even a

hub to get into the tunnel or anything. It's just
the whole idea that people are like, it's such an inconvenience. No,
it's not. She did something that's so didn't inconvenience anyone.
So enough of that, that's ridiculous.

Well, they didn't shut down the streets to the pedestrian.

Well. One of the most surprising names of folks that
attended the wedding, which I think we might have discussed beforehand,
is Carly Kloss, Taylor's former bestie. They had a falling
out and then they reconciled privately and she showed up.

What was the impetus of their quote falling out? Did
anyone ever know? I mean or hypothesized, like was it
over somebody? What was the beef there?
Speaker 1 (12:35):
I think it was trust issues. I think it might
have had something to do with Scooter Braun because Scooter
was managing Carly back in the day. I don't know
if he still does. I don't think so. I don't
think he manages anybody now. But she's a model, right,
She's a model, and she also was hosting TV and
she does a little bit of everything.

Hmm. I didn't know what that beef was over. And
I do recall she went to the aerostour and she
like wasn't in the tent right, Like she was somewhere
else watching. So it sounds like they've mended their fences
long ago.

Yeah. I mean that is the most telling thing of everything,
the fact that those two that couple that they were
so thick as thieves with that just says that everything

and Ryan at their daughter's horse competition show in upstate
New York.

There is some speculation that they might have gone to
her Rhode Island home because there was a fireworks show
there and the lights were all on, but that's just speculation,

them with transportation to get out of town somewhere else.

he left his wife and children at home in California
and decided to go to the UK by himself to
promote his Invictus Games. And tomorrow there is supposed to
be a judgment, the final decision on this lawsuit that
Harry and other celebs pushed against The Daily Mail for

their shady business practices, and The Mail on Sunday and
the King had offered Harry a place to stay, which
we also talked about. However, this morning not according to sources.
According to Prince Harry's spokesperson, the offer to stay at
Buckingham Palace has been rescinded. Oh, because Harry did not

say yes by the deadline. Now, I am not a
Prince Harry hater. I see all sides to this, Okay.
I think it could have been easy for Buckingham Palace,
which is ginormous and has you know, many cottages and
royal apartments and this and that, and King Charles doesn't
even live in Buckingham Palace. He lives nearby. It could

have should have been easy for them to prepare a
room for Harry to stay, even if he only gave
them one or two days notice. Apparently Harry needed to
say yes by the end of last week, but he
you know, waited until Saturday, and then because of that
they were unable to accommodate him. On the other side,

I can see how the Palace, the Crown, the institution
is set in its ways, and if they say we're
giving you a deadline, this is the deadline.

Yeah, well, people work there and you know they got
to set up a royal is coming home. This is
a big deal. It's not that it's just it's not
like us coming home from college to see our parents
or something like that for a day. I mean, it
is a thing, and it's a to do, and it's
it's like, hey, we'll do anything you want, just tell
us by this date so we could put it together.

I mean, that doesn't seem like really hard to understand
the fact that they once again kind of spit in
the face of the palace, like, hey, we just need
one thing from you, just tell us if you're coming.
They hear nothing. They assume they're not, they book whatever
that they're gonna do, and they go on. I mean,
that's a business, and I guess I understand that side
of it too. But then again, he should be able

to go home whenever he wants, and you would think, like,
how big of a deal is it really? Once you're
inside the confines of the palace, it can't be that
big of a deal. There's a couple people waiting on it,
so exactly, I could see both sides of it right exactly.

However, I think I have a solution. I think this
could be the beginning of really making things better. Next month,
it's expected that His Majesty will head to bow Moral
for the month of August or a few weeks. If

it while they were there, and didn't even talk about
it according to sources after they left, I think that
would be a good test for all of the royals

to place blame on her, but her talking about this
that I don't think rubbed them the right way. So

and be with the family and have a nice family
vacation or summer if both sides want that. But who knows,
like what's real and what's put on anymore, it's all
a reality show at this point.

Well, I think if I know Megan, I think she's
pushing for a reconciliation because it would be good for business.

I mean I would want to do it. Just so

I could reunite him with his family. I would say,
that's the most important thing in the world. Let me

try to facilitate that to happen. That's what should really

attended except me. She is married to Jared Kushner's brother.
As we know, Jared Kushner is the husband of Ivanka
Trump and in a new interview, Carly was asked about

everything Trumpian, and I respect her for, you know answering.
This is what she said. I know who I am.
I know the values that guide my life and the
issues that I care about, So you know, I haven't
lost sight of who I am. But also it's my
husband's family. And then she mentioned that, you know, we're
sitting here in Saint Louis, which is a blue dot

in a red state. Since as long as I can remember,
I've always been exposed to a lot of different political
points of view, and I think that trained me for
my life. You know, I'm a Democrat. She made sure
to say, it's possible to have relationships with people who
you politically don't align with, and I think this country
has always been a place for dialogue. We have to

be able to talk to each other. I agree with
all of that. But do you think her husband also
identifies as a Democrat like her? That's the question, like
can you I guess you can, But in this world nowadays,
where politics has become so polarized. Do you believe that
a couple can be happy together and stay happy together

if they're so different in their political beliefs.

Well, yeah, Republican versus Demomocrat didn't used to mean what
it does today. I think that the Republican Party was
taken over by the Maga Party, the Maga movement, and
they are guilty by association. I believe that the values
of a traditional Republican have always been their values. The

way they look at financial things, the way they look
at social issues, the way they look at budgets, this
and that. I don't think that's changed with a lot
of people. You know, you've also got to be able
to say there are factions of that party that are
still never Trump people, especially now. I think after this
latest two years of just dumpster fire we've been living through,

I think a lot of people are just fed up.
We'll find out in November with the midterms, But reading
the tea leaves that's what it is. So it didn't
used to be that big of a difference. I think
when you say Republican Party, you instantly get lumped in
with the Maga movement, and I don't think that's quite
fair to all Republicans.

was this very famous that were both in the world
of politics back in the day, Jimmy carvel James Carvellen
and some he's who's he married to some Southern woman.

you could do it. But that was back then. I

Look, it's a different day now and everything is so
amped up. Are you keeping tabs on what's happening with
the World Cup and the American player they got a
red card?

You know about this story somewhat? Yeah, the President complained.

Well, let me simplify the whole story first the people
that don't know it. So a United States player got
a red card, and the red card means you are
out the next game for this tournament, for the FIFA
World Cup. And now to talk about the actual red card.
It was a dumb call because what he had done
looked to be completely accidental. He could have hurt somebody

if he did it intentionally, but he wasn't even looking
in the direction of the person that he, you know,
suppose fouled. It was a bad call, as the bottom line,
and they gave him a red card and they knocked
him out. Well, our president, President Crybaby, picks up the
phone to FIFA, which I will say to everybody that
doesn't know anything about this is a very corrupt organization.

They have been for years. You talk to any football
fan in the world about this FIFA and how they
do things. It's a lot of shady deals. It's a
lot of shadiness. So anyhow, President cry Baby calls up
and says it's an erroneous call whatever, and all of
a sudden, they don't rescind the red card. They just
rescind the penalty. So now the player from the United States,

whom I still think was charged erroneously, now gets to
play in the World Cup match tonight. He's like, supposedly
our best player. I don't know anything about our fucking
soccer players. But so the world is now pissed. They're like,
what the hell, Like someone whinds and he has to
insert himself in everything. Now, the other side of it
(27:56):
is we're not used to like I'm not a fan
of the president obviously, but he's still the president. It
is what it is, but it's weird to see something
go in our favor. Being a Democrat, when you don't
have a house or a state and you have no
part of Congress. It's just like a constant shafting over
the past two years. You get nothing. This man gets
gifted planes, Oh it's fine. This man like does all

these deals with Crypto, Oh it's fine. But it's the
first time that something actually works out for the United States,
all of us, which we are in our favor. So
it was nice, you know, seeing from that side of it.
But it's a very interesting thing that's going on. But
the world once again is pissed at the United States.

I mean, I got no skin in the game. I
wish it was always that easy when something wrong happened
to like make it better.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
Yeah, in his defense or on anybody's defense, it was
a stupid call, and I think anyone from even those
countries would say it's a stupid call. But it's just
like in any sports, it happens all the time. Bad
calls happen, and you just you lick your wounds and
you get over it. And it didn't happen in this case,
it was like, once again, all you gotta do is

cry about something to the right people with the right power,
to people that are also corrupt. When corruption talks to corruptions,
sometimes you can get things done, which I will acquiesce
to that fact. So there you go. So it's the
first time that our president being a whiner has actually
paid off well.

Speaking of the President, one of his favorite people, Kathy Griffin,
is calling out Jimmy Fallon, one of the many, many
attendees of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's wedding, because Kathy
claims she's banned from the tonight show and she's not
happy with what she perceives to be double standers because

Connor McGregor, the very controversial fighter who's been accused and
charged with rape, is going to be a guest on
the show or was a guest on the show, And
Kathy says, I don't even know when you ban when
you're banned from a show. And if you guys know me,
I'm banned from most of them. You're welcome America and Indonesia.
They don't usually tell you your band, They just can't

seem to find room for you. I think the fallin
folks made a mistake by having Connor McGregor on. I
think it sends yet another message to women in marginalized
folks everywhere that were not equal and you can do
anything to us, and the perpetrators are still going to
be out there being glorified.

Yeah, I agree. And what about this point with Dwayne Johnson.
Will Wheaton remember him the actor from Star Trek back
in the day on Bang Theory as oh yes, yes,
yes as himself. He responded to this post on social
media about Dwayne the Rock Johnson wanting to keep his
politics to himself, and then Will Wheaton said, so disappointing

to find out he is such a coward.

Wow, Okay, I don't know.

I think The Rock has spoken out about politics before.
I think he just doesn't make a point of doing
it regularly.

Yeah, and I've and we've talked about it's an interesting
time and being on that wire and trying to navigate
your fame and your fan base and maybe people that
don't like you or dislike You're trying to do one job,
and when you interject your own personal things into that
one job, which is an acting, it will rub off

on audience members, they will be turned off by you.
And I think we talked about this before Matt Damon.
I mean, he had some comments about people being gay
in their real life, and when you talk about different things,
that's so personal and you share so much personal information.
He was making the point that I just made that
it will rub off on your audience, and maybe you

won't see someone in the light of their character because
their own personal things may be magnified so much that
you can't get over it as an audience member. So
it's a tightrope to walk for any actor and Hollywood
and general it's just so nauseating with their high and
mightyness of everything. It's just it's unappealing and I see that.

So for Will Wheaton to inject himself with somebody else
what they've decided to do, that's a little lame to me.
I gotta be honest with you. I mean, unless he's
asked about the Rock, I don't know why he would be.
I don't know who he was.

We'll just responded on social media after seeing a post
about that.

I don't know. I mean this it's a bigger question
of social media and interjecting yourself because you feel the
need because of anger or whatever's inside of you. The
way the world is being rolled out right now. I'm
sympathetic to that, and I understand that because people do
want to like have a voice and get involved. But
the other side of it, it's like, who the fuck
asked you? It's just what social media in general has

done to society, and it fucking sucks. You end up
with conversations like this, And is it healthy unhealthy? I
don't fucking know, but I just think it sucks. Period.

Well, what does not suck is turning I don't know
if it's lemons. I guess turning lemonade into spiked lemonade. Oh,
this is a better way of putting it, because she's
the one who made the lemonade, you know, she's the
one who gave other people lemons. Ashley Tisdale of the
Hollywood mom drama that we talked about, you know, earlier

this year, is turning all of that into a new
Netflix half hour comedy show called Toxic Moms.

So I don't think it was all intentional for this
desired outcome, but what a way to turn the narrative around,
because for a while there it seemed like Ashley was
the villain and now she has the last life.

of the people that consume it, she still may be,
but doesn't really matter. This is when we talk about
this stuff. This is the fluff that I like. This
is not really that hurtful. None of this hurts anybody.
It doesn't. It's just conversation pieces. When you start to

can get a little hurtful. So this is I think
good for everyone involved. Their names are all getting out there.
They're all B listers that are getting back on the
A list because of things like this.

Jean Benet Ramsey. Okay, is that tacky? I guess not.
I mean they had success with The Menendez Brothers and
that show, so I don't.

what their bad taste is. To me, that has no interest.
I'm not interested at all. But you know, to each
his own right, it's arbitrary, but it was the life

around to listening to Madonna's new album over the weekend,

crew was there, the hosts, the anchors, Robin Roberts, George Stefanopolis,
and Michael Strahan. They revealed some details, like they confirmed
that Stevie Nick's performed. It was also confirmed that Paul
McCartney performed. I mean, first, let's just look at everybody

that was there. Some of the most unusual names, I
would say are Hugh Grant, right, Taylor just invited celebrity
fans like Hugh Grant had no connection to Taylor other
than his children liked her music.

I think they were on a talk show together once.

And there you go. They invited everybody in their rolodex.
It felt like were they even able to go say
hello to everybody table to table with a thousand plus people? Like,
how long would that take?

Taylor had security there. Sure there was probably even a
VIP area at the wedding that was full of VIPs.

it was the Graham Norton show. She was talking about
her future in a wedding and what it would be like,
and she said that people have a hard time like

guess you were invited. It was wild to see these

Like that doesn't even seem like the kind of event
that Machine Gun Kelly would want to go to.

No. I think he loves the attention, and I think
he would absolutely enjoy being accepted by the A list.

Yeah, that sucks though, because they are friends. And seriously,
and I'm being serious when I said, Taki, it feels
real tacky, like one night you go and do something,
could you maybe not tag your brand that night? That's

Everyone knows who she is. Are you really getting anything
out of that? Is there somebody like what Selena has
a beauty brand? Of course they know she has a

you know, you've got to be constantly out there on
people's phones and and their attention.

Na I think everybody that follows her knows that she
has a beauty brand. I just think there's times and

It's exactly why it was it. This was a circus
of a wedding.

Maybe you're right, like it was all so ridiculous that

games there according to report. I mean, we've heard so
many things, like it's hard to believe what is and
what isn't true, Like allegedly they raffled off a car,
Allegedly they wrapped off like really expensive watches, all alleged.

we do know some concrete things. We know that Taylor
and Travis donated twenty six million dollars to charities ahead
of their wedding, which I think that was very nice.
Of course, the CEO of AMC spilled a lot of
tea and then deleted that post on social media.

Yeah, he said it was a pink themed affair. The
wedding was held a level up from the floor of
Madison Square Garden. The arena floor was for the after party.
There was no traditional wedding party. There were no bride'smaids
or groomsmen, although there was a best man that was
Jason's brother. That was Travis's brother Jason, and then there

was a man of honor Taylor's brother Austin, and Jason's
daughters were little flower girls that littered the way before
Taylor made her appearance. Apparently she had a very very
long veil, was dressed in Dior couture, and Travis also
was dressed in Dior war white. That's a very Travis

thing to do, I think, you know, I don't think
most men would wear white to their.

Wedding, right, So do you think they did do the
vows there in front of people?
Speaker 1 (08:17):
They did, and according to reports, the vows were very long.

Yeah, I heard like twenty minutes a peace.

Emotion shut it down. Funny. I mean, you're asking Taylor
Swift to cut down her vows. She's got ten minute songs.

Yeah, writing is what she does. I wonder if she no.
I think Travis must have written it all by himself.
But I wonder if she helped him or offered to
help him.

The fact that she went twenty they've obviously discussed it,
and he probably had to say, oh, okay, I wasn't

he's like, I got to come up with more. I
guess that would be my guess, but who knows.

In a very buzzworthy moment that got a lot of
media attention. Adam Sandler was the officiant and he also
performed for the couple. Unclear what it was. I think
it was an original song just for the wedding, that's
what I read. Yeah, And why the festivities, It was

catered by all of her favorite restaurants. I think in
addition to the Selena moment, two other moments really stand
out that just exemplify what this wedding was all about. First,
according to reports, Taylor walked down the aisle to her
own song love Story.

Okay, that's cute. Yeah, it's her love story. Yeah, that's cool.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
And then also all the guests got a little keepsake
handkerchiefs with a lyric from one of her songs, So
It's Gonna Be Forever, which I think is sweet because
that's allegedly one of Travis's favorite songs. He said in
the past, I think that it was his favorite song,
you know. So I still go back to what we
said the first time when we talked about Madison Square Garden.

I believe they could have had this level of security
and safety anywhere and privacy, but they did it in
Madison Square garden.

It makes sense, though. You want to be in a hub.
You want to be somewhere where it's not hard for
celebrities to get there. Let's say she did it at
her place.

In Rhode Island.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
Rhode Island, thank you. It's impossible to get there. You'd
have to find accommodations. This that the other thing. There's hotels,
easy to get there if you're coming in from Los
Angeles fourth of July weekend, city's empty. Easy to book
that weekend for sure, So that to me makes a
lot of sense. The only other city would be Los Angeles,
were potentially maybe Vegas, but no one wants She's not.

That's tacky to get married in Vegas. So I think
it's fitting and it makes sense. And to have somewhere
that's centralized, like I still like the original idea of
the Silver Cup studios. That to me feels a little
like it could have been a little bit more special.
But once again, you've made it easy for catering. Centralized hub.
Everything is dead smack right in the middle of the city,

easy access in and out, easy to secure, which I
love that. People bitch about that those blocks, the blocks
that she shut down, do you know how many apartments
are on those blocks. Zero, not one. It's not like
anybody was put out. Okay, by the way, the garden
has events thirty forty thousand people all the time. This
was one thousand people. Big deal, it's a big deal.

They put a tent up over the vip entrance. They
do that anyhow, when there's a concert, they shut down
the street so the trucks can get in and out
for catering. This and that. Like, this is also silly
to me, people bitching about you don't need thirty third
Street to cross town. Go up to thirty fifth Street
then or thirty seventh Street. It's not a hard thing
to get around. And it's not like that's even a

hub to get into the tunnel or anything. It's just
the whole idea that people are like, it's such an inconvenience. No,
it's not. She did something that's so didn't inconvenience anyone.
So enough of that, that's ridiculous.

Well, they didn't shut down the streets to the pedestrian.
It's just a traffic.

Right, It's a thousand people, it's not a big deal.

Well. One of the most surprising names of folks that
attended the wedding, which I think we might have discussed beforehand,
is Carly Kloss, Taylor's former bestie. They had a falling
out and then they reconciled privately and she showed up.

What was the impetus of their quote falling out? Did
anyone ever know? I mean or hypothesized, like was it
over somebody? What was the beef there?
Speaker 1 (12:35):
I think it was trust issues. I think it might
have had something to do with Scooter Braun because Scooter
was managing Carly back in the day. I don't know
if he still does. I don't think so. I don't
think he manages anybody now. But she's a model, right,
She's a model, and she also was hosting TV and
she does a little bit of everything.

Hmm. I didn't know what that beef was over. And
I do recall she went to the aerostour and she
like wasn't in the tent right, Like she was somewhere
else watching. So it sounds like they've mended their fences
long ago.

And somewhere Blake Lively is seething she was not there unfortunately.

Yeah. I mean that is the most telling thing of everything,
the fact that those two that couple that they were
so thick as thieves with that just says that everything
reported was true. So there you go.

Well, you know, they still had a good time, Blake
and Ryan at their daughter's horse competition show in upstate
New York.

Yeah, it sounds like a party.

And now we have no idea where Taylor and Travis are.
There is some speculation that they might have gone to
her Rhode Island home because there was a fireworks show
there and the lights were all on, but that's just speculation,
it's not confirmed. Yeah, where do you go? I think
you can only really go to like remote island somewhere

if you're gonna beat Taylor and Travis, you know.

Yeah, and there's plenty of those. You know, there's plenty
of places where they're richkn frolic and no one will
ever know that they're there. You know, the question is
did they send the plane up, multiple planes up tail
numbers going to other places? Did they take somebody else's
jet that would be my guests, you know, somebody provided
them with transportation to get out of town somewhere else.

show and spending time with her in Texas and now
he's spending time with her in Florida. To me, this

is more than just friends and support. They're doing it.

Yeah, I don't know, Like I said, who can tell
with that woman. I have no idea what she's gonna
do next, what direction she's gonna go in. When I
think it's one direction, bet on the other. So yeah, look,
I think after the breakup, I think her world is
so small because you know, you don't see her out
doing things. She keeps it small on purpose and for

her to go back to a circle of trust that's
really small and something familiar. I'm not shocked at all.
That makes a lot of sense to me. But I
would be more shocked if we saw her curled up
to another celebrity. I think the whole Pete Davidson thing
went so wrong that she is so against celebrity that
she's just looking for like comfort, and this guy is

comfort food to her. And like we talked about, who
knows if anything bad even happened. Maybe she just thought
it was nothing and with some time she realized it
could have been something. So who knows.

And I think her fans are very supportive of this.
You know the fact that he and her were spotted
Whole Foods together. People think it's wholesome and healthy. You know, like, oh,
I don't want to be reading into all the rumors
and speculation about our end. We talked about it. You know,
she looks on some people think she looks unhealthy and

this and that look. He's feeding her. She's making sure
making sure that she's fed.

Mazzle, mazzle, Good for them all right. In some breaking
news this morning, Prince Harry should have maybe landed in
London by now. There were some big changes to his
plans since last we spoke. After it was determined that
he would not be getting the royal protection that he wanted,

he left his wife and children at home in California
and decided to go to the UK by himself to
promote his Invictus Games. And tomorrow there is supposed to
be a judgment, the final decision on this lawsuit that
Harry and other celebs pushed against The Daily Mail for
(18:30):
their shady business practices, and The Mail on Sunday and
the King had offered Harry a place to stay, which
we also talked about. However, this morning not according to sources.
According to Prince Harry's spokesperson, the offer to stay at
Buckingham Palace has been rescinded. Oh, because Harry did not
(18:52):
say yes by the deadline. Now, I am not a
Prince Harry hater. I see all sides to this, Okay.
I think it could have been easy for Buckingham Palace,
which is ginormous and has you know, many cottages and
royal apartments and this and that, and King Charles doesn't
even live in Buckingham Palace. He lives nearby. It could
(19:15):
have should have been easy for them to prepare a
room for Harry to stay, even if he only gave
them one or two days notice. Apparently Harry needed to
say yes by the end of last week, but he
you know, waited until Saturday, and then because of that
they were unable to accommodate him. On the other side,
(19:38):
I can see how the Palace, the Crown, the institution
is set in its ways, and if they say we're
giving you a deadline, this is the deadline.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
Yeah, well, people work there and you know they got
to set up a royal is coming home. This is
a big deal. It's not that it's just it's not
like us coming home from college to see our parents
or something like that for a day. I mean, it
is a thing, and it's a to do, and it's
it's like, hey, we'll do anything you want, just tell
us by this date so we could put it together.
(20:08):
I mean, that doesn't seem like really hard to understand
the fact that they once again kind of spit in
the face of the palace, like, hey, we just need
one thing from you, just tell us if you're coming.
They hear nothing. They assume they're not, they book whatever
that they're gonna do, and they go on. I mean,
that's a business, and I guess I understand that side
of it too. But then again, he should be able
(20:28):
to go home whenever he wants, and you would think, like,
how big of a deal is it really? Once you're
inside the confines of the palace, it can't be that
big of a deal. There's a couple people waiting on it,
so exactly, I could see both sides of it right exactly.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
However, I think I have a solution. I think this
could be the beginning of really making things better. Next month,
it's expected that His Majesty will head to bow Moral
for the month of August or a few weeks. If
Harry took his wife and children on the secretly went
(21:03):
and didn't announce it ahead of time, and didn't publicize
it while they were there, and didn't even talk about
it according to sources after they left, I think that
would be a good test for all of the royals
to see, Wow, okay, we can maybe trust Harry again.
Or Megan or Megan.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
Yeah, I think Megan, you know, let's I don't want
to place blame on her, but her talking about this
that I don't think rubbed them the right way. So
it's not her traditions, you know what I mean, it's
their tradition. She just didn't want to play nice with them.
So the question is do they want to mend defense
and that I don't know. You're right it go there

and be with the family and have a nice family
vacation or summer if both sides want that. But who knows,
like what's real and what's put on anymore, it's all
a reality show at this point.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
Well, I think if I know Megan, I think she's
pushing for a reconciliation because it would be good for business.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Yeah, because she's cold product.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
It would be good for both of them. I mean
she might be cold product, but he's not. He's still
Prince Harry.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
Well, he's still Prince Harry there, no everywhere but here.
It's like no one cares. Her title here means less
than nothing. To your point, he is still Prince Harry
even here, even after we sending all of that. He's
still that because he is a royal. Whatever that means,
however arbitrary that is, he is still that. But uh, yeah,
I mean I would want to do it. Just so

I could reunite him with his family. I would say,
that's the most important thing in the world. Let me
park my enormous ego for a minute and let me
try to facilitate that to happen. That's what should really
be going on. But you know, you write a book,
you accuse people of being racist, you do all these things.
That's an uncomfortable holiday anyway you see it.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Anyway you line it up, well, you got to put
in the work.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
You got to art somewhere. It's a good idea. Yeah,
they could do that at any time though. Look, they're
all on holiday, giving me a break. Nobody does anything.
No one has to report to a job or anything
like that. Their whole lives are holiday. What do they do.
It's setting up there waiting for Oprah to call so
they can have dinner. I mean, they're not doing anything.

They're very busy. She's you know, building her business empire.

She's smelling fucking candles and going, let's make this a candle.

Well, speaking of interesting family dynamics, Carly Kloss, whom we
spoke about as attending the wedding of Taylor swift. Everybody
attended except me. She is married to Jared Kushner's brother.
As we know, Jared Kushner is the husband of Ivanka
Trump and in a new interview, Carly was asked about
(23:47):
everything Trumpian, and I respect her for, you know answering.
This is what she said. I know who I am.
I know the values that guide my life and the
issues that I care about, So you know, I haven't
lost sight of who I am. But also it's my
husband's family. And then she mentioned that, you know, we're
sitting here in Saint Louis, which is a blue dot
(24:09):
in a red state. Since as long as I can remember,
I've always been exposed to a lot of different political
points of view, and I think that trained me for
my life. You know, I'm a Democrat. She made sure
to say, it's possible to have relationships with people who
you politically don't align with, and I think this country
has always been a place for dialogue. We have to
(24:31):
be able to talk to each other. I agree with
all of that. But do you think her husband also
identifies as a Democrat like her? That's the question, like
can you I guess you can, But in this world nowadays,
where politics has become so polarized. Do you believe that
a couple can be happy together and stay happy together
(24:54):
if they're so different in their political beliefs.
Speaker 2 (24:57):
Well, yeah, Republican versus Demomocrat didn't used to mean what
it does today. I think that the Republican Party was
taken over by the Maga Party, the Maga movement, and
they are guilty by association. I believe that the values
of a traditional Republican have always been their values. The
(25:17):
way they look at financial things, the way they look
at social issues, the way they look at budgets, this
and that. I don't think that's changed with a lot
of people. You know, you've also got to be able
to say there are factions of that party that are
still never Trump people, especially now. I think after this
latest two years of just dumpster fire we've been living through,
(25:39):
I think a lot of people are just fed up.
We'll find out in November with the midterms, But reading
the tea leaves that's what it is. So it didn't
used to be that big of a difference. I think
when you say Republican Party, you instantly get lumped in
with the Maga movement, and I don't think that's quite
fair to all Republicans.
Speaker 1 (25:56):
Yeah, and I remember, God, what was their name? There
was this very famous that were both in the world
of politics back in the day, Jimmy carvel James Carvellen
and some he's who's he married to some Southern woman.
I think I can't remember who he was married to,
but he's Southern himself.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
So yeah, so.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
Yeah, you know, they were always a role model that
you could do it. But that was back then. I
don't know.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
Look, it's a different day now and everything is so
amped up. Are you keeping tabs on what's happening with
the World Cup and the American player they got a
red card?
Speaker 1 (26:28):
You know about this story somewhat? Yeah, the President complained.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Well, let me simplify the whole story first the people
that don't know it. So a United States player got
a red card, and the red card means you are
out the next game for this tournament, for the FIFA
World Cup. And now to talk about the actual red card.
It was a dumb call because what he had done
looked to be completely accidental. He could have hurt somebody
(26:54):
if he did it intentionally, but he wasn't even looking
in the direction of the person that he, you know,
suppose fouled. It was a bad call, as the bottom line,
and they gave him a red card and they knocked
him out. Well, our president, President Crybaby, picks up the
phone to FIFA, which I will say to everybody that
doesn't know anything about this is a very corrupt organization.
(27:15):
They have been for years. You talk to any football
fan in the world about this FIFA and how they
do things. It's a lot of shady deals. It's a
lot of shadiness. So anyhow, President cry Baby calls up
and says it's an erroneous call whatever, and all of
a sudden, they don't rescind the red card. They just
rescind the penalty. So now the player from the United States,
(27:36):
whom I still think was charged erroneously, now gets to
play in the World Cup match tonight. He's like, supposedly
our best player. I don't know anything about our fucking
soccer players. But so the world is now pissed. They're like,
what the hell, Like someone whinds and he has to
insert himself in everything. Now, the other side of it
(27:56):
is we're not used to like I'm not a fan
of the president obviously, but he's still the president. It
is what it is, but it's weird to see something
go in our favor. Being a Democrat, when you don't
have a house or a state and you have no
part of Congress. It's just like a constant shafting over
the past two years. You get nothing. This man gets
gifted planes, Oh it's fine. This man like does all
(28:19):
these deals with Crypto, Oh it's fine. But it's the
first time that something actually works out for the United States,
all of us, which we are in our favor. So
it was nice, you know, seeing from that side of it.
But it's a very interesting thing that's going on. But
the world once again is pissed at the United States.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
I mean, I got no skin in the game. I
wish it was always that easy when something wrong happened
to like make it better.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
Yeah, in his defense or on anybody's defense, it was
a stupid call, and I think anyone from even those
countries would say it's a stupid call. But it's just
like in any sports, it happens all the time. Bad
calls happen, and you just you lick your wounds and
you get over it. And it didn't happen in this case,
it was like, once again, all you gotta do is
(29:04):
cry about something to the right people with the right power,
to people that are also corrupt. When corruption talks to corruptions,
sometimes you can get things done, which I will acquiesce
to that fact. So there you go. So it's the
first time that our president being a whiner has actually
paid off well.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
Speaking of the President, one of his favorite people, Kathy Griffin,
is calling out Jimmy Fallon, one of the many, many
attendees of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's wedding, because Kathy
claims she's banned from the tonight show and she's not
happy with what she perceives to be double standers because
(29:43):
Connor McGregor, the very controversial fighter who's been accused and
charged with rape, is going to be a guest on
the show or was a guest on the show, And
Kathy says, I don't even know when you ban when
you're banned from a show. And if you guys know me,
I'm banned from most of them. You're welcome America and Indonesia.
They don't usually tell you your band, They just can't
(30:03):
seem to find room for you. I think the fallin
folks made a mistake by having Connor McGregor on. I
think it sends yet another message to women in marginalized
folks everywhere that were not equal and you can do
anything to us, and the perpetrators are still going to
be out there being glorified.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
Fair point.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
Yeah, I agree. And what about this point with Dwayne Johnson.
Will Wheaton remember him the actor from Star Trek back
in the day on Bang Theory as oh yes, yes,
yes as himself. He responded to this post on social
media about Dwayne the Rock Johnson wanting to keep his
politics to himself, and then Will Wheaton said, so disappointing
(30:44):
to find out he is such a coward.
Speaker 2 (30:48):
Wow, Okay, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
I think The Rock has spoken out about politics before.
I think he just doesn't make a point of doing
it regularly.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
Yeah, and I've and we've talked about it's an interesting
time and being on that wire and trying to navigate
your fame and your fan base and maybe people that
don't like you or dislike You're trying to do one job,
and when you interject your own personal things into that
one job, which is an acting, it will rub off
(31:19):
on audience members, they will be turned off by you.
And I think we talked about this before Matt Damon.
I mean, he had some comments about people being gay
in their real life, and when you talk about different things,
that's so personal and you share so much personal information.
He was making the point that I just made that
it will rub off on your audience, and maybe you
(31:42):
won't see someone in the light of their character because
their own personal things may be magnified so much that
you can't get over it as an audience member. So
it's a tightrope to walk for any actor and Hollywood
and general it's just so nauseating with their high and
mightyness of everything. It's just it's unappealing and I see that.

So for Will Wheaton to inject himself with somebody else
what they've decided to do, that's a little lame to me.
I gotta be honest with you. I mean, unless he's
asked about the Rock, I don't know why he would be.
I don't know who he was.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
We'll just responded on social media after seeing a post
about that.
Speaker 2 (32:23):
I don't know. I mean this it's a bigger question
of social media and interjecting yourself because you feel the
need because of anger or whatever's inside of you. The
way the world is being rolled out right now. I'm
sympathetic to that, and I understand that because people do
want to like have a voice and get involved. But
the other side of it, it's like, who the fuck
asked you? It's just what social media in general has
(32:45):
done to society, and it fucking sucks. You end up
with conversations like this, And is it healthy unhealthy? I
don't fucking know, but I just think it sucks. Period.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
Well, what does not suck is turning I don't know
if it's lemons. I guess turning lemonade into spiked lemonade. Oh,
this is a better way of putting it, because she's
the one who made the lemonade, you know, she's the
one who gave other people lemons. Ashley Tisdale of the
Hollywood mom drama that we talked about, you know, earlier
(33:18):
this year, is turning all of that into a new
Netflix half hour comedy show called Toxic Moms.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
Good idea.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
So I don't think it was all intentional for this
desired outcome, but what a way to turn the narrative around,
because for a while there it seemed like Ashley was
the villain and now she has the last life.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
She still might be in the story. In the eyes
of the people that consume it, she still may be,
but doesn't really matter. This is when we talk about
this stuff. This is the fluff that I like. This
is not really that hurtful. None of this hurts anybody.
It doesn't. It's just conversation pieces. When you start to
into people's values and politics and stuff, that's where it

can get a little hurtful. So this is I think
good for everyone involved. Their names are all getting out there.
They're all B listers that are getting back on the
A list because of things like this.

Well, Ashley announced the news of the new Netflix show
Toxic Moms by saying, I guess we all can be
a little toxic. Okay, ah, funny, some wacky film news.
Do we need this? Melissa McCarthy and Clive Owen are

going to be starring in a new limited series about
Jean Benet Ramsey. Okay, is that tacky? I guess not.
I mean they had success with The Menendez Brothers and
that show, so I don't.
Speaker 2 (34:48):
Want any of that stuff. But there's fans of it.
You know, it's like, I can't yell at people for
what their bad taste is. To me, that has no interest.
I'm not interested at all. But you know, to each
his own right, it's arbitrary, but it was the life
lost because of it and generating more commerce on top
of it is always icky to me.
Speaker 1 (35:08):
But that's me, all right. Some music news. I got
around to listening to Madonna's new album over the weekend,
and you got around to it. Yeah, it was. It
was pleasant. I would give it a bee. I think
it was better than I was anticipating.

But I'm officially old because my favorite not just because
of this, but I mean, like, I still love the
Chapel Roane album so much, and there's some bangers on there,
but my favorite songs on the new Madonna album are
the ballads. There's a couple of ballads. There's even one
song with her daughter, which to me is a standout track.

I like the self referential bits. There's a lot of
like calling back to her earlier songs, specifically a song
off of Ray of Light that she dedicated to her daughter,
and now she's kind of revisiting that with her daughter
singing on this song. So that that was fun. I'd
give it a bet and also giving a bee too.
Beyonce dropped a surprise release song on the fourth of

July called Morning Do, which is not what I was
expecting because this is not necessarily going to be indicative
of the last era of you know, her three act opus.
The first was dance, the second was country, the third
was expected to be rock and roll. But Morning Do
is an R and B song and I like it.
It's it's it's cute, it's a it's a solid bee.

No, I didn't even know she dropped anything. I'll take

Yeah. And finally some good news. Congratulations to Emily Kaiser.
She's the influencer whose three year old son passed away
with an accidental drowning when the husband was taking care
of the sun. She is pregnant with another child. So
some people might criticize this saying, you know, it's like

getting a new dog or whatever, but I would not
say that.

Yeah, that's a horrible accident, and yeah, accidents happened, and
it's unfortunate.
