Speaker 1 (00:10):
Only my brand's. Welcome to our PHP booker here and
a healthier Perez there.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
I feeling I'm feeling almost too good. God is great.
I'm getting stronger every day, and this week is gonna
be the week. Tomorrow I get my pick line removed,
which is like a larger I V with two entry
points and one goes to the heart, so I'll be

(00:43):
free of that. And thank God, because this might be
t M I You've been warned, but the drips that
I'm on, one of them is twenty four hours a day.
I'm like, I'm not only am I regular, I'm like
extra regular, Like I have to go number one and
number two all the time.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
And you're a very regular guy to begin with.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Well I know, but only like once maybe twice a day.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Well that's amazing. I mean I would kill to go
once a day, but it's just insane.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
I'm blessed. I'm so grateful, and so that's getting out
tomorrow and then on Thursday, after we record our Patreon show,
which everybody should sign up for. It's longer, there's no commercials,
and your support would be greatly appreciated. Patreon dot com
slash Perez Hilton after we record on Thursday. I'm going
to my surgeon and I'm getting my drain removed, which

(01:34):
I still have. I'm on the tail end of things,
and I'm giving myself a goal. The goal is the
day after Easter. So next podcast recording, I'm going to
get out of this old lady recliner and I'm going
to be in my office. And I don't even know
if I told you this, but well I did mention
how my ass disappeared, and it's not a joke.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
We didn't actually talk about how much weight you'd lost.
I sat, I read when looking at your face, man,
you look very gaune. How much weight did you drive?
I don't know. I don't care.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
I didn't weigh myself, but I lost so much weight
that my butt, I'm not exaggerating, my butt disintegrated like
I'm sitting on an orthopedic pillow. Today's a little bit better.
I feel like every day I'm getting better. But I
had the rinky dinkiest chair in my office that my
sweet mother got me from Walmart, and they're not exactly

(02:26):
known for quality products. So this past week I went
to office Depot and I bought myself a real nice
gaming chair with great support in the butt area and
great support in the back area. So next Monday, you're
gonna see me back in the office, and my goal
is to be as good as possible. So I'm just

(02:48):
so grateful.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Are you generally feeling pretty good? You sound good?

Speaker 2 (02:51):
I mean I'm feeling better. Yeah, I'm feeling good. I'm
feeling not normal, but I'm feeling much better. So that's
all that I could ask for.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Yeah, good, how are you? I'm good. I have had
no major surgeries lately.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
All right, well, let's get right to it. Tiger Woods,
tiger Woods, tiger Woods. You know, this is one of
those situations where we can hold space for two thoughts simultaneously.
One my heart goes out to tiger Woods. He's clearly
struggling with addiction, with abusing what it seems to be

(03:26):
is pain medication. I understand what it's like to be
in pain. He's had, you know, chronic pain for a
long time. But also, simultaneously, it's time that he does
time because this is not the first incident of DUI
with him. He's been arrested for DUI before. Back in
twenty seventeen. He also got into another major car crash

(03:49):
in twenty twenty one where he could have really hurt
somebody else, so.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
And they didn't drug test him for that and they
sort of just let him walk because he's Tiger Woods. Yeah.
I wonder what it is, because at first I was like,
maybe he's just like on ambient and he's chasing that
with some sort of pain drug, or maybe just a
pain drug has got his hooks in him. But like
a pain drug wouldn't make you drive like an asshole,
would it. No?

Speaker 2 (04:11):
No, no, it's so they gave well, it's our podcast.
I can actually mention names here because like I've been
going live on TikTok and you know, I'm very mindful
of not mentioning certain things because I don't want to
get in trouble. But when I left the hospital, they
gave me some hardcore pain medicine. They gave me an
oxy codone, right, and I haven't taken it yet, but

(04:34):
I did take it in the hospital. And if you
just take one, okay, fine, like you actually feel good,
if you feel better, and that's the problem, right, You
take one, you feel good, you feel better, Then you
want to take more than one, and then you maybe
take three. I don't freaking know. If you take a
bunch of them, that really is almost like you're drunk driving,

(04:54):
not literally, but it is a dui. And here's what
I don't understand. And this reminds me so much of
Britney Spears. Tiger Woods is so freaking rich. Why doesn't
he just have a frickin' driver.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Yeah, I think people just like to drive.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Driving is great, and not when you're out of it.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Right Well, you know, the guy doesn't really think that
he's out of it, that's my guess. He likes driving
like a maniac. And I don't know. I keep wondering
the same thing, like after the first time, And if
you have the wherewithal the funds to have a car
take you everywhere, I mean I would have a car
take me everywhere. I'm a lazy kind of person though,
But then again, you know, I like driving, you know,

(05:34):
I get it. I get you know, you don't want
to be waiting for a driver constantly and this and that.
But he's got the money, you know. And after not one,
but two incidents and now the third, you know, look,
he's not gonna he's not gonna have a license after this.
I mean, for kiss that thing goodbye. I mean, there's
no way he's gonna have a license for at least
a year.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Wait, hold on, let me do a little research. If
you get two d U guys in Florida, because I
don't know if Florida's two lax.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Florida, you might be able to kill a couple of
people and still be able to.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Okay, here we go. A second DUI conviction in Florida
within ten years results in mandatory penalties. Oh, this is good. Okay,
at least ten days in jail if within five years
of the first. Let me look at when the first
one was.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
It's not within five years. It's twenty seventeen.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Yeah, so all right, so no mandatory jail time, but
more than a year, a five year license revocation, thirty
day vehicle impoundment, eighteen month DUI school, and high fines
and probation. Okay, well, good. I wish she would have
gotten some mandatory jail time. But I hope this is

(06:49):
the wake up call that he needs. Oh boy, last
week we spoke about Shia Lahbuff on the podcast, and
it's time to talk about him again. He's back in
New Orleans after terror Italy and now he's terrorizing the
patrons at the tennis club across from his house. According

(07:09):
to TMZ and local law enforcement, the club sent out
a message to all of the folks who go play
tennis there, warning them to steer clear of Shia. You know,
people leaving the club run into him because he sits
in the front porch of his house and has outbursts.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Stamp.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
One of the reasons he moved to New Orleans is
to be closer to family. I'm going to say it.
I think it might be a good idea to consider
a conservatorship.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
What do you think Conservativeship is usually control your money
and such. It's not like a jail thing, no.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
But it's like it could also control like making sure
that you get mental health help and take medication and
things like that.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Yeah, I mean, look, you need something. I'm wondering. Look,
if we're talking about the other person, we know in
that situation, she crossed. The wires are crossed, you know
what I mean. Like it's fried. The system's fried. There's
no unfrying it, there's no untangling it. You know, you
go so far with some things, you fuck yourself up,
and some people don't recover it. All from it and

(08:15):
you just remain fried. To me, it sounds like this
is where Shaya is. Doesn't sound like even if he's
drinking or not, I think he stepped over whatever that
proverbial line is. I don't know something I don't know.
I don't know. I mean, I know, there's no way
to know.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
I don't know. Because last year he was pretty lucid.
Remember there was this documentary made about him that premiere together.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
What did he do this year is the question?

Speaker 2 (08:40):
No exactly since then?

Speaker 1 (08:42):
What what went down? What did he smoke? What did
he take that fucked things up? That's my question. I mean,
I could be just dead wrong. He could just be
house drunk for all I know, but that doesn't seem likely.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
You know, something clearly happened.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
And I mean, look, if he's near his family, I mean,
I just can't believe somebody hasn't chained him to a
radiator in a basement for fucking six weeks and sobered
this guy up. I don't know. I just don't know,
Like why is he not in a facility? You know?
I mean, I guess you have to be willing to
be in a facility. But something needs to happen there clearly.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Well, Geez, I hope I don't continue reporting on him.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
I think you're going to Oh.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
God, I hope not. I hope he gets better all
right in I don't know if i'd dis Yeah, this
is positive news. Savannah Guthrie, whose mother is still unaccounted for,
is how I would describe it, has announced her return
to This Day Show. She'll be back on the air
this coming Monday, April the sixth. This is what she

(09:45):
had to say when speaking with Hoda quote. It's hard
to imagine doing it the Today's Show because it's such
a place of joy and lightness, and I can't come
back and try to be something that I'm not. But
I can't not come back because it's my family. I
think it's part of my purpose right now. I want

(10:06):
to smile, and when I do, it will be real,
and my joy will be my protest. My joy will
be my answer.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
God.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Did you watch that interview?

Speaker 1 (10:16):
I tried to. It was too hard to watch.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
It was hard, but I but I watched the whole thing,
and I really I fell in love with Savannah Guthrie.
She's such a beautiful person. In a testament to her mother,
having raised her that way. And you know, she's been
gone from the show for a long time now, and
at a certain point she had to resume her life.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Yeah, you got to move on with your life. Yeah,
it's just the tragedy of it, the not knowing what happened.
It just doesn't make any sense and blaming yourself for it.
And it couldn't have been random, like what someone's hijacking
old ladies just for the hell of it, you know
what I mean, Like, it doesn't make any sense. It
has had to do with her. Well, that's she said
that she was famous.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
She just said that her brother. Her brother said, yeah, sweetie,
and god, I couldn't even I don't want to cry.
Let's let's move on.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
I don't want to cry.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
I don't I'm no crying today. Speaking of somebody who
knows a thing or two about DUI's Justin Timberlake. This
might surprise you. Justin Timberlake has no interest in an
in sync reunion. Instead, according to my friend Paula Frolick,

(11:30):
who for many years used to work at Page six
and now works at News Nation, she reports that Justin
is in discussion with Live Nation to do a Vegas
residency at the Dolby starting in twenty twenty eight.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Where's the Dolby?

Speaker 2 (11:47):
It's at the park mgm oh.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
Where us shure wash. Yeah, I didn't know that was
the name of that place. Oh, that's a nice thing.
It is it is. I mean, sure, why not?

Speaker 2 (11:57):
But why not give people the fucking in sync union
they want?

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Jesus? Well do they?

Speaker 2 (12:05):
I think they do? Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
I mean maybe it's just maybe that is resigning to
you're old. You know, look in Sync and Backstreet Boys
it's two different things. Like Backstreet Boys, there was no
clear star that broke out and went and you know,
achieved global superstardom after it, whereas Justin Timberlake did. And

(12:33):
it's kind of like waving the flags saying, well, now
I'm an oldies act and I don't think he needs
to be. And I guess I do understand him not
wanting to do it yet because he's still a young man.
He could still make music, he could still have an
Act three or two or however you want to look
at it. So I get it. Backstreet Boys needed each other,
they did they needed But this is the problem.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
With Justin Timberlake. It's not just about what you want,
it's about what your fans want. You're so freaking selfish.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
I guess that's my point. I don't know if the
fans are ready for him to hang it up. I mean, sure,
would they like to see that? Yeah me, for a minute,
yes they do. I don't know. It just seems so bubblegumish.
Even when Backstreet Boys do.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
It, it just seems so like, no, no slander, there
will be no not even It just seems like an
old these acts you're gonna tell me doesn't seem like
an old act. Clearly did not see BSB at the Sphere.
It was magical. They saved Las Vegas. Like every show,
the city was electrified.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Yeah. Well it's been like that for every Sphere residency.
I mean even the Dead's fans brought people in. I
mean it's just because they're not your people. They've all
been sold out. There hasn't been one empty seat for
any of these shows so far, you know, so it's
all worked well.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
In more music related news, somebody that we're both a
fan of, Lola Young, reveals that when she went away recently,
she went away to rehab for drug addiction. In a
new interview, she says, when you're in recovery, that doesn't
necessarily need to mean drugs, but me specifically, yes, So,

(14:12):
I mean she didn't have to be honest with people,
but I'm glad she was. I think that's gonna maybe
help her in her healing, and I send her positive vibes.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
Yeah, I guess I kind of assumed that's what it was,
but I didn't know what it was. I'm glad she's
on the road to walk in the straight and look,
she looked good when her last appearance when she popped up,
You're like, Grammy's good. Yeah, she looks good. All right.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Booker said he wanted to do something special today. I'm
not quite sure what, but I do have one last story.
Then then we'll take some calls and then you're gonna
play whatever you're gonna play. I don't know about you,
but I've always been a big fan of Jojo Na
nah to Little Too Late, No No, No, Anyways, she
is gonna be replacing Leah Michelle in the Broadway musical

(15:02):
Chess beginning in June, So if you're also a Jojo fan,
check her out this summer on Broadway.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
Would you say Chess Chess. Yeah, what's that?

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Oh my god, it's a musical by the guys from Abba.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Oh it's the Abba one, but it it's not Mama Mia.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
It's a different Abba.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
So Chess is something different.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
It's original music from the guys from Abba. So they
made music just for the musical.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Okay, have you seen it?

Speaker 2 (15:26):
I've never seen it, but I've heard the songs before
and it's it's awesome.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Yeah, I've never seen Chess. You know, what I wanted
to do is just for the people on this regular
podcast that don't subscribe to our Patreon. I think we're
still getting a lot of questions like, hey, what happened
with Perez? What went down? So I figured i'd take
a little of our conversation where you explained what actually
happened to you, and you know, just kind of put

(15:51):
it out there for people to understand what's going on,
because I know we've alluded to it a couple of
times during this show, but you know, this audience here
is much bigger than the Patreot audience.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Yeah, let's play that and then afterwards we'll take calls
Patreon exclusive. And I'm doing better every day.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
You sound better? Can I start with the question, well,
a barrage of questions because I have a million questions.
Go ahead, all right, your voice? You lost your voice?
Did they tube you at some point?

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Or is this just weakness? More than one point? It
was horrific. They put in this thing called an NG tube, okay,
which is basically a tube that goes in your nose
all the way down and to your stomach and it
sucks up bile and sickness out of your stomach. And

(16:39):
I had to have that two separate times for many,
many days. And that was one of the most painful,
awful experiences, knowing that I had this foreign object inside
of me, going through my nose and down to my stomach.
And you know what, I'm not ashamed to say this.
I made a video and I talked about how God

(17:00):
presented himself to me, and I got so much clarity.
I know that this is all a blessing and this
was the reset that I needed, and God destroyed me
to build me back up stronger and better than before.
You know, you know me very well. I have always
been a workaholic, and then that became even worse after

(17:22):
I had children and supporting my mother and you know,
my sister working with me as well in her livelihood
tied to mine. That's five people. So I was not
taking care of myself. Prior to the hospitalization. I was
only getting four to five hours of sleep and night.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
I've only told you this for ten years, but continue
no more, no more, I'd like to hear it.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
I'm not so many positive changes good, thanks to God,
thanks to the clarity that I have now that I've left.
It was the worst but also the best experience of
my life. And it happened and I got home just
before my birthday. My birthday was Monday, and God said,

(18:06):
I'm giving you this gift. The next half of your
life is going to be very different. And you know,
people who follow me, they see that I post taking
my kids to this fear and doing that and doing
the other. I'm excited to live a smaller, quieter life.
Sure those things are fun, but just being home with

(18:28):
my children is more than enough watching TV together. I
said this with deep shame and regret. Earlier in the week,
I was such a workaholic that I would not have
dinner with my kids every night. It was always Grandma
and the kids.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
No more.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
Ever since i've been in the hospital. Ever since I've
been home from the hospital, we've all been having dinner
together every night as a family, no phone on the table,
and just to have that moment of connection has been
so beautiful and.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
Healing from me. How many times have I said it
out loud, It doesn't matter, doesn't matter. The only thing
you have in this life. If you are lucky enough
to wake up every morning and you have no pain
and you walk around, it is the biggest blessing in
the world. It's the greatest thing in the world to
walk around and like, not be in pain, and you
can feed yourself and you can feed the people around you. Well,

(19:19):
that's all you really need. You don't really need a
lot you don't And you know, all this being online
and wasting time, it doesn't matter. It doesn't fucking matter.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
I agree.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
Yeah, good, you come to your senses on it now.
I hope that this this new injection of God hasn't
taken the fun out of you though. I mean this,
all this God talk, I mean, yeah, oh my God,
I'm gonna bar I love it. I'm not ashamed of
that God. I'd not say it'd be ashamed of it,
but boy, you better be interesting. Listen, let me give
you a good litmus test. This is this is it
Chapel Road. Well, we'll talk about that. This was my

(19:52):
litmus test I wanted to see. Well, we'll talk about
the old press in there. Look, I wasn't saying we
were going to get away from that. I was just
performing my mus test to find out.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
If no, I have a list of topics. Okay, so
we could still do a normal show.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
Also good. I remember the beginning of this, and we
cut it out of the show. I cut it out
of the show because you started the show whatever the
last fucking show you and I did. You'd said to me,
and I believe you. You're like, I've never been sicker.
You go, I am so sick. And I said, buddy,
you sound good, and you did sound good. So what

(20:27):
was going on then? Because I know you had the
flu to begin with, and I remember that, but I
kind of feel like you were maybe past the flu,
and were you taking any medication while you had the flu,
And because I don't recall you saying you went to
the doctor or anything like that, so it kind of
catch me up from there.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
Great question. I had the flu for a week and
I was taking medication.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
Prescribed or like over the countercrap.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Now over the counter I view profin and a leave
because I was also getting really bad headaches. Right, So
you know me, I'm not a partier, I'm not a
big boozer. I don't abuse things. I was taking the
medication as prescribed, however, and I hope that this can
save just one of our supporters from having to go

(21:14):
through what I did. The fatal flaw, my big stupidity,
the mistake that I made that landed me in the
hospital was my entire life. I've never taken any medicine
with food, and some medicine you have to take with food,
like ibuprofen or a leave, but I didn't. I never have,
and I've never had an issue until now.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
So wait a minute, So did you not eat any
during the week when you were when you had the flu?
You just didn't eat?

Speaker 2 (21:41):
I mean I did, but not a lot. But that's
not the point. The point is when you take like
in a leave or an ibuprofen, you need to eat
right before.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
That's what I've learned.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
You need to eat right before, so you're not taking
that medicine on an empty stomach. And I wasn't eating
right before. And after seven days this, I developed an
ulcer and then a perforation in my abdomen, right, and
then that hole caused massive infection, right, and that massive
infection led to sepsis, and then all hell broke loose.

(22:13):
It was so scary in the hospital. I really thought
I was going to die.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
Yeah, you could have easily too. I mean, once you know,
you get an infection like that in your belly's it's
really all hands on deck.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
Well, not only did I get one, I got two.
I got a second infection in the hospital, which apparently
is common.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
Yeah, very which is weird that you can catch something
in the hospital, but everybody around you sick. Your immune
systems is sitting at zero, so you know, anything could
like float right into you, and I guess that often happens.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
That's what happens. So I was dealing with two massive infections.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
So the second infection was it like a new symptom.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
It was just a totally different strain, totally different virus.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
Gotcha that was going through. So during this time, were
you still sick, like, did you still have the flu?
On top of this sort of the flu come and
go and this was more like, this was just the
pain of whatever was eating at you.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
The flu went okay, but then that's when the sepsis
took over my body. I ended up having to have
emergency laparoscopic surgery, which the doctor said, if this would
have happened twenty years ago, he would have had to
cut me down the middle.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Yeah, it's amazing. Now they could take your appendix out
through your belly button. It's unbelievable, like the advances in
science and technology. And that's why I keep yelling about
this fucking administration. They're trying to turn back the clock
on fucking science, and it's insane when things like this
happened to people. It's science is unbelievable. It's just crazy.

(23:46):
But continue.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
I'm so grateful to my doctor. And it's also scary
when he told me what he did. You know, because
the first five days in the hospital it was X ray,
CT scan, ultrasound, repeat, repeat, repeat, and you by the.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
Way, so and because I couldn't tell the people, I
was still doing the show, but Perez was kind of
you didn't really know what was going on. So in
the beginning when I told everybody, I wouldn't be too
concerned about it. I wasn't too concerned about it because
my thought was, you had the flu, and my guess
was maybe it turned into pneumonia or something like that.

(24:21):
And once again, I've said this a million times on
the show, the flu is no joke. When you have
the real flu, it's worse than COVID. It can fucking
kill you, and especially if it goes to pneumonia. But
I'm thinking he's in the hospital. They got this. I'm not.
I'm not too overly concerned. And I kept saying I
kept using this analogy for the uh, for you, the
Leonardo DiCaprio movies, one battle after another, and the thing

(24:44):
is one thing keeps happening, and then another thing happens,
and then that's exactly That's exactly what happened to you.
And it's the only way I could really kind of
tell people without telling people what was going on, because
I didn't want to, you know, I didn't want to
share your fucking business, because I didn't truly know exactly
what was going on. Because our initial texts were a
lot of you aren't sure, and well that's it, right.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
So the first five days it was all of these
tests because they couldn't find where their perforation was.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
Is that what they were doing? They were the perforation?

Speaker 2 (25:13):
Yes, okay, And so that was really scary how that
with X rays, X ray, CT scan, ultrasound, repeat, repeat, repeat,
and I was in so much pain. Right, So eventually
the doctor said enough, we need to go in there
and fix it, because by that point the sepsis and
infection was accumulating so much so the dot Oh my god,

(25:36):
it's almost traumatic thinking about it. The doctor went in
their laparoscopically and literally, I don't know how, it's just
like a mirror science. It's he went and he literally
flipped all of my organs looking for the perforation, flipped them,
flipped them back, then irrigated my entire abdomen area, washed

(25:58):
it all out, and then sewed me back up. And
then I continued to get worse, which is not a
good sign, and I had to have another major procedure
because I continued to fill up with infection. So they
did this second major procedure with ultrasound and some giant
ass needles sucking out like tons of infection.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
And then I continued to get worse and fluid was
building up on each side of my lung. Then the
worst that I got it when I thought I really
was going to die, was when I started developing heart issues.
My heart just started racing and one night the rapid
response team had to come. They had to put me
on heart medication. Thank god I made it. I was

(26:46):
on oxygen most of the time.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
It was were you let me ask you? Were you awake? Oh?

Speaker 2 (26:53):
My god. Not only was I awake, I could not
sleep at all. Oh really left the hospital with the
most massive case of brain fog and short term memory
loss because I couldn't sleep for three weeks. They're constantly
coming in checking your vitals for you know how much

(27:15):
I love food, for over two weeks. For over two weeks,
I could not eat any food. All of my food
was intravenously, so you know, they're they're constantly coming in
putting in a new tons of IVS, IVS for food, ivydic.

(27:35):
So I could not sleep. I literally, literally literally did
not sleep for three weeks. It's impossible to really rest
in the hospital. That's why being home, I've been making
such great progress. Every day sleeping, getting my eight plus
hours and the love of my children and my mom

(27:57):
and also sorry, I don't want to meet emotional.

Speaker 1 (28:01):
You went through it, brother.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
But you know I I've talked about this before. I
made so many mistakes in the past, and I owned
them and I regret them, and I'm ashamed of them.
And God has forgiven me. And I know you don't
want me to talk about God anymore, but God has
forgiven me. And the most beautiful, the most beautiful thing

(28:24):
to come of all of this is upon my release,
just to feel the outpouring of love and support from
so many people. Like I don't take negative comments personally
mm hmm, and I know that I shouldn't take positive
ones either. It really shouldn't matter what anybody says. That's

(28:44):
a stranger. But I'd be lying if I didn't say
that the positivity hasn't really affected me. It really has
helped so much and it's been so beautiful. So I
want to thank all of our Patreon supporters and just
everybody who has sent prayers and loved positive energy. It's
really meant so much.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
It's amazing. Look, when it comes to your past or
any of that other stuff, it's even silly to think
about yesterday. It's silly. It doesn't I'll say it again,
it doesn't matter what you do in this exact second
is all that anyone has. You have nothing else, nothing,
you don't have tomorrow. You don't have a guarantee of
ten minutes from now. You got right now. And once

(29:24):
you lock in on that with your life, life becomes
a lot easier.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
No that shit, and similar to that that we're so aligned.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
I also learned.

Speaker 2 (29:34):
The power of the thoughts that you put in your
brain in the hospital and after I've left, just you know,
the thoughts.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
There's power and positivity. It's hard to you know, say,
how do you measure that? It's not like they put
you up to something, but there is something. I've said
it a million times. I don't know about God and
Jesus and all this other wacky shit. It's all nuts
to me, but I will say this, I can't imagine
all of this is just like nothing. This comes from something.
This is a fucking miracle that we're here. We're a

(30:03):
fucking rock spinning around another rock. Okay, and that one
gives off heat and energy and what the fuck? This
doesn't make sense. If you pull back the lens just
a mile even and look down at us we're insignificant,
we are an ant, we are nothing. Nothing makes sense.
There's gotta be something else or something that at least

(30:24):
put us here. I don't think my brain's capable of
dissecting this or figuring it out, or saying some wacky
shit in the Bible means anything. I don't believe any
of that means anything. But I do believe in something.
I do believe in something coming from somewhere. I don't
know if it's watching you know. I'm glad you think
that it cares. That's cool. That gives me some you know.

Speaker 2 (30:45):
I don't think I know good.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
I know that.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
Look, there's a billion people that have that same thought
as you, and I know that there's something. I don't
know if it gives a shit about me or anything
else for that matter, But yeah, if you don't get that,
you know, what are we doing here? This was such
a wild ride sitting here in the cheap seats watching
this with you, because at first, like I said, I
wasn't I really wasn't worried. You're a little dramatic to

(31:09):
begin with that. I know you had the flu, and
I heard you and saw you. That was the thing.
You know what I mean, I was like, he's getting better.
But that line when you said it to me, and
the way you looked at me and I watched you
when you said, I'm man, I'm sicker than I've ever been,
I knew you weren't lying, you know what I mean.
I was like, all right, well, something's going on. And

(31:30):
that was the That was the thought that I couldn't
get out of my fucking head for like a week
and a half. That was the thought that scared me
because you know, my hair in the back of my
neck standed up when I said that, because it did it.
It scared me a little bit because like you started with,
I know you, you know, I know you really, really,
really well, this conversations we've had over you know, a
decade of our lives, you know, knowing one another, how

(31:52):
we talk, how we think. So that's the thing that
really concerned the fuck out of me. But then again,
when it comes to the positivity thing, I was like,
he's gonna be fine because I just knew you were.
I knew something bad was happening, but I knew you
were gonna be fine.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
And that day we did our show on a Thursday,
and then Friday, is when I started to develop abdominal pain.
And then Saturday, when I was admitted into the hospital.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
That's when he texted me, you said, I and you
were still able to text at that point because you're
like or maybe you told me you were going to
the hot I can't remember how it played out, but
I do recall the whole hospital conversation.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Yeah, I was in so much pain that day, I
couldn't even walk. Yeah, I had to call an ambulance
to take me to the hospital. But listen, I'm so
thankful for this experience.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
I can't imagine going through this and at the other
side of it saying I'm thankful. I would not be thankful.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
Jesus God is great.

Speaker 1 (32:48):
Petri exclusive well, thank.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
You for sharing that with this audience, and thank you
to everyone here listening right now for your support. And
thank you again to Booker and his wife for keeping
the show going and doing a really good job. So
thanks all around. Now let's take some calls.

Speaker 3 (33:09):
Hey, Perez and Booker. Quick comment, Booker, I just wanted
to see if you had a chance to watch the
Madison over in Paramount. Is it think it's Paramount? It's
another tailor Sheridan sort of all written show. It's only
six episodes, so it's just curious what your thoughts were
on that show because I loved it. And then Perez

(33:31):
just wanted to quickly make a comment just so thankful
you're feeling well. I loved your story about your faith
and sort of finding it and it really really touched me,
and I just wanted to say thank you for sharing
such a beautiful story or testimony. My son has been really,
really sick this year and it's been touch and go,

(33:51):
and I don't have to maybe consider my faith hasn't
been the greatest over the years, but when things sort
of life moments happen, it really kind of you in
and you're just thankful that there's something bigger out there,
so that loves you. Anyways, all the love, Annealing. Bye.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
Oh well, that was the sweetest call. And you know,
Booker was kind of annoyed with me on the Patreon
because I was talking about God so much, but I'm not.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Gonna wasn't At what point was I annoyed?

Speaker 2 (34:21):
You were telling me not to do it so much.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
You have a listening disorder. You really don't. None of
none of this has has changed that that's good to know. No,
I didn't. I never even once told you to like,
are you sure I'm positive? I said that I'm not
sure what I believe in, and then I gave my reasons,
and then I said, there's something bigger than all of
us and me and my thought. There was At no

(34:45):
point did I tell you to hush up on.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
I'm gonna I'm gonna go back and listen because you
were dismissed.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
That'd be the first time ever you went I'm not
all right, I'm not I'm not.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
Gonna go back and listen. But you were dismissive at
one point, you were.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
Pressed.

Speaker 2 (34:58):
Anyways, God is good, God is great, and this was
the best and biggest blessing of my life. Actually, you
know what, I don't think I told you this booker,
or maybe we talked about it.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
I still have a little bit of brain fog. But
before I went into the hospital, I was one of
those douchebags that would whip out their phone at a
stop light and check social media. Not with my kids
in the car, but when I was by myself, because
I was afraid of just being still. I was afraid
of stillness. I was uncomfortable in stillness. And ever since

(35:30):
I left the hospital and God touched me, and I
have such clarity. I'm not afraid of stillness anymore. Like
I get in my car now to drive myself to
the IVY clinic, and I don't even put my phone anywhere.

Speaker 1 (35:44):
It's in my little fanny.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
Pack, and I just sit at the stop lights. And
I embraced the stillness. And I lived a very big,
loud life. But I'm excited to live a smaller, quieter
life just to stay freaking home. And that's all that
I need. All that I that I have here is
more than enough. So anyways, the call is so sweet,
and I'm sorry to hear about how challenging things have been.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
But what was the TV show that she mentioned? You
can answer that, oh, the Madison did Taylor Sheridan. I
haven't started it yet because I keep hearing that it's
more of the same formula again. You know, it's starting
to get a little tiresome. We'll probably get around to
it because it is six episodes, so you know, maybe
i'll get into that. We'll see, but I'm not that

(36:29):
excited about it. I'm excited about you know, Kurt Russell
and Michelle Pfeiffer. The acting's got to be so good
that it's probably worth it. But I'm guessing the acting's
propping up the scripts, because that's that's been the problem
with his shows of late. To me, the scripts are
just terrible. So we'll probably give it a watch.

Speaker 2 (36:47):
I hope, I hope it's still in the theaters because
if it is not this weekend, but next weekend. I
want to go watch the new Scream movie. It came
out like, don't say anything. Don't say anything.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
You think I know anything about a Scream movie. Okay,
I haven't seen Scream one. What are we up to
twenty six seven? I think, yeah, exactly, I haven't seen
one through six. Then I love the Scream Franchisehi. By
the way, people keep talking about that what's his face?
The Ryan Gosling movie. I know it's made so much money.
I know, but the more I hear about it, the
more it's falling apart. People are like, you could have

(37:22):
cut an hour out of it. It was really long,
and people are like, it's okay. At first it was
like fucking polter Geis. Now it's like Scream four. You
know what I mean like it gets downgraded every week
when more and more people watch it. But I bet
it's pretty good. I just like Ryan Gosling. I like
him too. Yeah, all right, we like you guys. Thank
you for listening, and if you can subscribe to the

(37:43):
Patreon to get another show, please do so. Patreon dot
com slash Perez Hilton. We'll do this again on Thursday.

Speaker 2 (37:49):
You take care of yourself, all right, you too, have
a wonderful week. Everybody.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
See you, guys.
