at this far workless dravaganza, he will kill vacation Rick.
And uh sure will yeah, and so work Rick. Somewhere

around main stage reporting time, I told her, I said, well, enjoy.
I hope you have fun with the day off vacationing Rick,
because uh, he'll be killed around six. Yeah he's done. Yeah,
work when the wig goes on, he's getting Rick. Work
Rick will kill day off vacation Rick.

Yeah, you're gonna be wearing a powdered wig, so that
will add to the fun of do the river dance.

I don't know what that was. Yeah, well, I added
that I asked him if they wouldn't mind playing word
up as I come on. They asked me to explain
what those lyrics are patriotic and I'm still working on that. Well, sir,
this is a patriotic advantage. So what about what about
this Patriots city air? Like you just don't you know
something like that patriots wave your hands in the air,

like if you get John Adams will take a burse,
hep you out right, Craig could be the whole Oh
about this, wave your hands so we see that we
are free. Okay that. I love the fact that some
people on the more conservative side, and I want to

join them. Fourth of July is the no King's Day. Yeah. Yeah,
that's when we said no king, we'll take no kings
on the fourth because that's no king king. We don't
need no kings out I need them. I love when
people who are kings are always the ones that claim

that they don't want kings. They'll call you a king
while they're a king. Yeah right, it's so anyway.

While worshiping the government. Yeah, while worshiping the government, they'll say,
no kings. Well, you've made the government you're god. So
let's let's let's let's really really evaluate ourselves there.

Yeah, let's become more like Europe. Oh you mean, where
the government provides everything. Are can't provide everything because you
became dependent on them, okay, for to solve every problem
you've ever had, which they can't do and only do
it poorly. Right yeah, pass. So So anyway, I hope
it is a good week for everybody. And I know
a lot of you are vacationing this week. Yeah uh,

you know some of you are probably like all those years,
like a lot of us, you know, we our vacations
usually revolve around when we can take vacation as far
as ratings periods and things like that, not when we
would prefer to take vacation. So I will tell you
we've been stuck on most of the time, you know,
taking time when lots of people do. You know, you

kind of wish you ever have you ever found yourself
even though we could have never pulled it off, never
ever under any circumstance to pull it off. You ever
kind of checked out those families like they kind of
run their own business and they homeschool, which means they
can pretty much do anything they want whenever they want
to do it. And you look and they've got pictures
of them like Disney World and the lines aren't long. Yeah,
and you're like, oh, wow, y'all could just go whenever

(07:33):
no one else would. Yeah, you know, you're at the beach,
but no one's there. How are you doing all this?
I will tell you when it comes to the part
of the world where we live. I no longer think
and I'm going to take winter out, but I'm going
to leave all of spring and summer and most of
the fall in. When it comes to the Gulf of America,

(07:56):
especially the popular parts, which is pretty much all of it,
there really is no off season anymore. There really is
no time you go, well, let's go now, won't be
that crowded, right, It's crowded all the time, with the
exception of winter. Yeah, when I go, it backs off
a little bit in winter. But fall people, you know,
you know there was a time when people say the

best time to go to the beach is the fall.
Well everybody's figured that out. Yeah, they just go in
the falls, doesn't matter.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
We used to go at Thanksgiving as a family all
the time.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
We're like, we figured something out, right.

Speaker 5 (08:29):
We know something nobody knows.

It's still warm enough to get out on the sand.

What is this voice is? I don't know what exact
they know. We know what people don't know? Voice. Yeah,
we go the last week of the New Year's Day.
Now that in New Year's that that's almost untouchable. And
to be honest, because I mean, I don't care about
get in the ocean anyway. No, you get there. You
may get a little nippiness at times, but it's not intolerable.
So you go out and play. The kids play in

the sand and have fun. We just don't swim there.
You don't have to wait in lines. Yes, because because
the sweat factors out, the sand will actually come off
of you.

Yes, you know.

It's powerway again. And I like the way it's cool
under your feet. Yes, love that.

I don't like the beach from like eight fifteen am
until like seven pm. I don't like that whole time frame.
No sunrise, sunset. I'm in the rest of the time.
This is a miserable deserting.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
That's hot. Hey you know if you got those sunbathers, man,
they want to be in it at maximum heat baking. Yeah, yeah,
you a cookie, you know, teriir skinned guy. I just
no farewell, no, no, no, you know me.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
Which, by the way, you know we have one of
those little tripod pop up umbrellas, you know, and so
if you know, Terry and I bring you know, little
beach chairs, pop that up.

Speaker 7 (09:46):
Whatever.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
What is it about sand? You know, we go to
the Pensylcola Beach, you and and and this it We
used it the other day with river and sand still
falls out of it. Well, how come we can't ever.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Get rid of sa I'm saying, it's like sand, It's
like it grows something. Do you take anything to the
beach it has sand on it to some degree forever? Yeah,
and you bang it. Yeah, you're including your car.

Speaker 5 (10:11):
Yes, there's still fall that pocket of sand from the beach.

Speaker 8 (10:14):
Yeah.

Is it?

you probably at the beach. You may even be in
a different routine. You may be off the entire week.
A lot of us will be off, including all of
us here on for one day, for a little three
day weekend on Friday. Loved at the fourth fell on
a Friday. Didn't that work nice? Didn't that work out? Nice? Good?

Because let's be on home this When you only have
one day off and it's stuck out there in the
middle of the week, I hate it. You can't do
much with it. No, I don't like it. You can't
do And then about two o'clock in the afternoon you
start thinking about what now I'm gonna go about to
work tomorrow? It ruins it. So so anyway, well, if
I can get to the fiefth So.

Speaker 5 (13:16):
They called that the scaries by the way, you guys,
are you guys Sunday scaries?

Speaker 8 (13:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (13:21):
Yeah, Sunday scaries come when you're like dreading Monday coming Sunday.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
It goes back to that survey.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
You know, the worst part of the vacation is that
last day when you start playing about now I gotta
go back, you.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Know, I got to pack up, and yeah, I will
say this, Yeah, y'all go, I'm not going to say
at one time where I work, when I was here's
here's where he talks down to us. Listen. When I
was in the line crew.

Speaker 6 (13:56):
Steel toe, I got feet to climb a pole.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Anyway, we worked four ten hour days. Was our work week.
There's that attitude you gets. Yeah, some of us, you see,
some work Monday through Thursdays, some work Tuesday through Friday,
and some worked Wednesday to Saturday. That was the bad one.
Nobody that was the guys. I had no time. They
all got stuck on that one. But the point is

(14:20):
I was on both at one time or the other
as far as being off on Friday, being off on Monday.
And I like being off on Monday better than I
did Friday. Because of that, you can see that Sunday dread.
I can still have Saturday, Sunday, Monday, but don't you
have Monday dread? Not really Okay, it's different because everybody
else is at work and you weren't. True, I can
see where yeah, I can see that.

Speaker 5 (14:39):
Plus it's Sunday.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
You don't want to ruin.

Speaker 5 (14:42):
I'd be okay with almost ruining Monday, you know, with
the Monday scaries instead of it as it's Sunday. You
don't want to ruin a Sunday.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Plus that's that one day you get to, like you said,
they throw everybody off a little bit because you're you're
living a different life than most people. Yeah, Sundays, I'm
kickback watching the NFL and I'm going I've got to
go to working.

Speaker 5 (14:58):
Oh wow, right, one you sleep, sleep in a little Greg.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
You could even enjoy the NBC game and not not
not thankful. This is not of no use to me. Absolutely,
we had people, people are crazy that actually complained about
working those shifts. What that's nothing. That three day weekend
every weekend is the greatest thing ever.

Speaker 5 (15:19):
Yes, the difference between eight and ten hours is worth that.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Extid Absolutely it is.

Speaker 10 (15:24):
So.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
I had so having friends and acquaintances that are at
all these different stages of life, and that or you're
still there. Okay, So this is I have I have
a friend that is in your stage of life. He
still has small kids. Okay, he's got one that is
a pro. I think he's somewhere around. Is he thirteen now?
But then he's got still got two that are seven

(15:46):
and younger. Okay, down in that world? Okay, do we
know who it is? Yes? Do you not want to say?
I'm not going to say.

Speaker 5 (15:53):
I was gonna start guessing, but then I started feeling
like you didn't want to say, so I wasn't going
to say.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
I'm not going to say, because you never know if
the wives see things the same way we do. He
just simply sent a picture from the beach and I
remember this, and it is that wagon, and the wagon
is packed full of life jackets, toys for the beach,

(16:18):
some sort of attempt tempt at an umbrella, some some
attempt at some sort and it's and he and his
and he simply said, when will the beach be fun again?
M And I said, oh, buddy, yeah, I said, you
are you are? You are a camel, You're a donkey,
You're a beast of burden. He had stuff on his

(16:40):
shoulders strapped around him. It's you know, boards, And I said,
how about when them will sit that sand he goes.
This feels pretty good when you're going down the sidewalk
from where you're staying, But once he hits the sand,
you're dragging it. It's a bad it's not even a
good slaves.

Speaker 8 (17:01):
Yeah it is.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
You're a mule. And do you all a lot of work?
Do y'all remember? And then and then this is what
gets me when you would put all that effort in
get the beach set up, and you find yourself now
a little bit different. You're kind of mad that people
aren't The kids don't want to stay longer? Can we

(17:22):
go to the pool? And you're like, pool, I'd love
to just walked out the back of our place we're staying,
you know, the hotel or whatever, to the pool. That
would have been I wouldn't have had to have been
a pack me or Campbell dragging all this stuff down
here to the beach. Oh no, we're staying on the beach.

Speaker 4 (17:38):
We go.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
We're gonna get somebody this setup that I've been sweating
profusely working on for for an hour.

Speaker 11 (17:44):
Yeah, saying I got salt to myes, a jellyfish stung man,
you know, And I wish we were at the pool,
and you're like, that's.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Where I wanted to be the whole time. I can
remember as a kid, I remember dragging all that stuff
out when I was a kid. I remember being I
would rather be in the pood. Mother tells the story
every time, Rick, how they were so excited taking us
to the beach for the first time, and we hated it. Yeah,
we grabbed about, saying we were little hive salt water. No,
I remember that swimming pool. I used to like it. Then,

(18:14):
you remember never been able to get your goggles worked
right where you can see good. No, that fog and
you thought you were going to able to see a
lot of a quanet life and all you were getting
were waves hitting in the face, knocking goggless off and
fogging them up. Soften your eyes. Yeah, I'll tell them.
I said, I'm not sure the beach is enjoyable to
you become an empty nestor again.

Speaker 5 (18:33):
Yeah, and it takes you an hour to get to
the beach. You want to stay at least for an hour, right, Yeah,
and you know time wise.

guy played him as a younger guy. He was an
adult both times, and it was two different people playing it.

Uh oil Rig movie, darn it oil Rig. He was
the preacher in Uh There Will Be Blood also Sunshine,

They look around the same age and for some reason

It was straight out you needed a bigger age gap.

Yes, it was really strange. So anyway, so don John Cusack, Donny,
here's what he has said. He is listening. They label
him in the story, which I didn't I didn't know,
as anti Israel and anti Trump. Okay, and he's hoping.
He put this out last Friday. He posted this and

shared it on x. He thinks that Iran should get
a nuclear weapons so it can deter the US and
Israel's aggression in the Middle East. He wants them to
hold us in Israel at bay because we're dangerous and
they need to be protected from US. I don't know
if a child would have that opinion. I'm a little

kid would go out. They don't need that, you know,
he's a grown man. He thinks that makes sense.

Yeah, and I heard this commentary about the anti trumpers
and and they just want him to look bad. It's
it's it's so weird because they're so quick to react. Uh,
they won't let it play out and just be happy
that America is winning. They're so anti him. They actually
root for America to do bad so they can point
it to Trump, when really that's that's.

Really siding with a run. Yeah. I mean, you've hit
a new low.

Wow wow. I don't under I don't understand that mindset.
It just seems bizarre because I don't. I don't think
you'll find a history of the United States or Israel
saying to the world, if all of you do not
come into the authority of our religious convictions, then we
must kill you or or you must convert. I don't

see anybody saying that you you must you know, convert
to Christianity or be destroyed by the US. You know,
you you have to become Jewish or we will kill you.
I just I don't. I haven't seen that. But but

I have seen that from Iran and radical Islamic regimes.
I have seen that. Oh yeah yeah. And what's what's
interesting is this this kind of it's kind of reminded
me because, uh, just coming back from New York. But
watching this socialist Muslim darling of the New Yorkers, do

you kind of tilt your head a little bit when
you look at the history of Islam and homosexuality. Even
though whoope says I shouldn't say this, I'm gonna go
ahead and say it. Wos But but he's in the
gay pride parade. Yeah, that that in Islam. I want

to check the handbook. I just can I give all
of you in the LGBTQ community. If somebody's truly devout
in their faith, in their Islamic and Islam is their faith,
and they're pretending to be celebrating the pride parade, they're
trying to dupe you. I do a little research. Yeah,
they're not giving you the whole picture and and the
