here last, you know, like yesterday straight acting that mine
sounds like completely given something because everything was was down

may have come up here. Maybe something knew that we
were talking about. We still had an issue with the

I thought when I shaved my head in college and
looked like bull from you did in the Easter picture,
if anybody would like to know what, if you'd like
to know what I'd look like with the shaved head
there it is just look at bullet night there is
It was an ugly look. Isn't they rebooting this? Yes,

and the only the only guy from the original is
that chicks the judge. It's supposed to be like the
Harry Whatever's daughter whatever. And then the main lawyer is
the one is one that was the main lawyer then too, Yeah,
John Larry Kitt whatever his name is. Calm down, am
I right? So to make a to make the story fit,

I've never really been to night court. May surprise you yet, but.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I never have. I haven't anither always worn.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
But apparently there's a version of not court that still
goes on really and that is the world of the
municipal court. Uh so there's a unfortunately I'm involved in
some sort of proceeding.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
I won't get into that.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
But yeah, but but but when you when you think
about the way the system works, it just it's bulling there.
Yeah pretty much, ain't kind of but but you you
almost It's one of these things where you go, Okay,
this is in real court, right, it doesn't feel like
real court like I've been involved in in legal proceedings

(04:42):
where there's depositions and there's so this is like a
minor league court before you get to the real court.
It feels like it feels a little thrown together. And
and you're like, okay, who are you? Oh well, I'm
I'm the prosecutor. I don't know who you are.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
And you I wouldn't have thought that.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
And who's this guy in the other eurine over here
who's holding like folders under his arm. You know that
it looks like he might have had a rough night
last night. Oh that's one of the defense lawyers. Okay, okay,
And and then and and so this this, I'm this,
I'm not I'm not making this up. And this stuff,
some of the stuff you can be very serious. I mean,
when you're talking about legal proceedings.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Sure.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
And so this one is just in some sort of
municipal court not far from the house. So if Atler
doesn't do what he did yesterday, I am today in
contempt of court. So they told me.

Speaker 6 (05:36):
It wouldn't have been just dropped you. You would be
in trouble.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
It said that everybody who's being told to be here
you're in contempt. I probably could have resolved in I'm
not saying that, yeah whatever, but still so they told
me the last time I was there, this thing's going
forward and you're going to be subpoenaed on when to
come back. Okay, all right, Well you know, I thought, well,
I don't know when that'll be. That's probably been oh,

(06:00):
I don't know what month and a half ago or.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Something something like that.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
And so and so Adler just very casually. We finished
the Wednesday Bible study yesterday, and I had an appointment
at two o'clock or a local time. Bible study ends
on the live run one o'clock our time. So I'm
gathering things and kind of getting ready for that meeting,
and in my mind that's all I have left today.

(06:25):
And so Adler comes and say, hey, I found some mail.
Somebody slid it under the door. Somebody lit it up,
the slidding on the door. Addler's that right, just slid
it under the door.

Speaker 6 (06:35):
It was just under the door, slid in an office.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
We don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
We don't know who picked it up or who did anything.
There's only two two envelopes. One of them is a
very kind letter from a listener, you know. So I
noticed that was a personal thing, you know, something I
don't know, and I was I saw it, and then
I was just about to say, well, i've got a
meeting starting here in about forty five minutes to thirty
five minutes somewhere in there, so I'm just gonna put

(06:59):
this dame on. And my thought was, I'll look at
these when I come to the office tomorrow, because I
wanted to send a card to the person thank you
for the letter.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Da Da da.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
And I noticed the other one looks a little more official,
and I see the name of the municipal court on it,
and then I think, still thinking it's all in the
very logical, Oh that's the letter I've been looking for
to tell me when I need to be back. Yeah right, yeah,
head up. Let me get that on the calendar. So

(07:29):
I take it. I open it up and as i'm
reading it, now, does everybody know what the date was? Yesterday?

Speaker 3 (07:36):
On the calendar, twelve.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
March twelftheive as I'm reading it, it says you are
to appear in court. It gives me the time three pm.
Keep in mind, at this time it's about one thirty five. Okay,
three pm. I thought, okay, three pm, because I know this.
I know Wednesday is there big, that's the last time
I was there. That's when that's the cattle call. That's

(07:58):
when they run everybody through on But it's in the day,
but it's still very not court like. And I look
down and I see three pm. Okay, wow, so I'll
be sleepy. And then and then I keep looking in
the date March twelfth, March twelfth, and then an hour
and a half out, and I'm like, that's that's like
in a minute March. I did not get it. And

(08:20):
then I start looking at the mail. It looks like
they sent it on March seventh. That's still not far enough.
It was metered on March tenth. And then I didn't.
I don't have it in my hand till one thirty five,
an hour and less than an hour and a half
from when I'm supposed to be there on the actual day.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
And I'm like, so it was metered on the tenth,
which means it was sent out, so it came in
yesterday's mail. It talks about two days for you to
get it, you know, So that's what Even if it
was sent out on the seventh, that's two heads up.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
You're in town. Yeah, and if you don't show up,
you'll be you'll be in contempt of court. So I'm
looking down and I have to tell my two o'clock
because I didn't have an end time on it. I'm
so sorry. I still will meet with you, but I
can only meet with you for about thirty minutes. And
then luckily they got here about fifteen minutes early, so

(09:15):
I ended up get about forty five minutes with them,
and I'm barreling out of here running over to municipal court.
Now do you realize, first of all, if somebody doesn't
get our mail and put it under our door, if
ad or doesn't pick it up and bring it to me,
and then if I don't decide to open it, that

(09:36):
I'm in contempt of court. Or what if I'm just
not here? What if I had already gone, right, which
is very possible. What I what if I had to
leave and go to another appointment or go running errand
the Bible study is over. I'm not always here the
rest of the afternoon. Sometimes, you know, I get out
of here to go make an a one thirty somewhere else,

(09:59):
or to were You've been here since four am? So yeah,
probably moving on. Yeah, normally municipal court people.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
We got to do better than that.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
I mean, that's heads up that that is what what
is the world? I mean, did you realize how easy
that could have been missed? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (10:15):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Most people are still at their job that time of day,
I mean, can't leave their job or that where you
were still in Manhattan, don't have the option to leave,
and they just now get it. So if you've got
to be at court at three pm, you need a
couple of weeks so you can tell your employee you
can do or whatever.

Speaker 6 (10:30):
And if you had been gone on, why did you
put that on your desk?

Speaker 3 (10:32):
Yeah, and you would have gotten.

As we say every day, because it seems like once
we go away and come back a lot happens. That's
the last time we were together. So let's talk a

to do it. One of the dumbest things I think
retailers ever did was to bend to the radical left
and their their scariness, and they're screaming and they're hollering,

retail stores. Let me see you if there's one thing

retail needs right now, brick and mortar. You need products
people actually want to come in and buy. You're already
in trouble, you already having to adapt. One thing you
don't want to do is to tell a product that
people are buying online that they could come in your
store and get, and now push them back to only
being able to buy it online. But that's what happened
and UH and Lyndale of course has survived that one,
no trouble. But he also is reaching out to help

looks like I got to go back at least this time.
I left there with a date that they they've already
given me. Not not one that they're going to the
same day.

hourn't supposed to be there and we need you there,
so so that that's on the calendar. And of course,
you know, watching watching the World of Municipal Court was
it was that's an interesting Those shows have it pretty accurate,
don't Yes, they do. It's very very accurate, and you
know they remember all stereotypes are based on some truth.

And watching that in full swing yesterday, was that was interesting?

Speaker 6 (13:36):
Did did Judge have a gavel like better than mine?
Not as good?

What happened?

You know?

It was interesting? You know, and you don't want to
overhear other people's conversations, But when when everybody's in the
cattle call. I mean you can you can hear them,
you know, and like, uh, well, I guess I don't
do topics. I want just people in handles and a
lot of people and a lot of people in trouble
trying to time to deal with trouble.

So it happens a lot while we're just moving along
with our days.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
I just never it's my first experience. I know, again
this may be shocking. It was my first experience at
the the ad hoc. Like you're just told to be here.
You don't know who's representing who or what, and this
somebody just walks in with paperwork and ask you if
this is your name and you're like yeah, and they're
like all right, well I'm your guy or gal and

you're like, oh really, okay, well okay, good to meet you.
Good to meet you.

And I found out about this an hour ago.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
You look like you may be like you got a
little more sleep. But anyway, but the.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
Show again, back to the show, that's pretty accurate, right
that that suits been through It hadn't it.

But anyway, so, uh so that was that was yesterday.
Something else that happened. It just seems like, if you
can be if you're supposed to be somewhere legally, that's
really really important. It's surprising how haphazardly it's treated that
that that right there, we got we got to do
better than that.

Good, So let's let's take the government put them in
charge of healthcare.

That that idea.

Just every time I hear that idea, I'm like, anytime
you're dealing with the government, what, like Walter E. Williams said,
god rest is so what is it on their resume
that would make you hire them for that job?

Right?

It just not it. Weather is going to be an
issue for the Deep South. James span is going to
be with us coming up a little bit later on
the program and what we try to do here because
I find the whole world of weather forecasting, and I
understand now everybody's in the world of and you look,

we're being taught to do it too. On marketing and
all that is. I got to get you to click
on my whatever it is. So weather people really and
Spans on the one who admits it weather people for
up till sixty hours before any sort of stormfront. Everything
there to telling you up to that point, is it

(16:03):
has No, it's not, it's it's just they're just making
stuff up and they're giving you. Yeah, maybees, but they
got to do headlines and stuff for you to still
be interested for the days when they really don't have
the information. So what we do with Span is we're
not going to bring him on to it actually has
things that seem much more solidified. And he says sixty hours.

So if you're in the Deep South, and that's a
big portion of our audience. Uh, and you you've got
you're you're worried about this weekend coming up in the
fronts that are coming through spam will update us today
and and you were kind of on me a little bit. Yeah, No,

a way their situation. I want to say, the last
time that I bothered him was when I volunteered for
for Pelham High School football and we had Yes, it's
been that long. You've never I've noticed that you'll text

job and realizing it might be la fast. So so anyway,

speaking of yesterday's Bible study, the ongoing saga of one
don All. I want to hear Don Dae. No, it's update,

Greg is an update said, you know, I don't mind.
I don't want to hear the repeat story, but I
will I will take an update, right. Oh yeah, yeah.
So those of you that are out of the loop,
and there's been this reoccurring theme, there's a very kind man.
Now there's a big portion of our audience that's in Montgomery,
Alabama that keeps thinking we're talking about radio legend, Dondee.

We are not okay, this is this is Don Dae
very peennut legend, peanut legend and kind man uh that
that I go to church with and we are in
a Sunday Sooo class together servants heart, servant's heart, and
so he he loves uh to apparently to roast peanuts.
It's his hobby. Good, it's his thing. So he started

bringing those, started bringing those to the Wednesday Bible study
at one time. At one time, everybody there's other people
wanting them to there there everybody had a little bag
with their name on it. And then there's a medium
roast that he does, and then there's a dark, little
darker roast. Okay, that's what I got it. And and

(21:29):
and apparently so does Don. Now what so so yesterday,
you know, Don comes in, you know, almost like I'm
a mob boss and he's bringing his payment so Greg
won't rub him out and uh, and so you know,
he really should be focused on the fact that we're
about to study the Bible, but he has to get
through the I'm here, I've got the peanuts. He takes

them to Greg's office himself. Yeah, good, okay, And so
we get we're going out to that awkward thing I'm
doing there walk deby cake. Yes, but wow, right, so no,
are you hearing this? Keep y'all want everybody in the
audience to know that when this is taking when this

(22:11):
is taking place, Greg's gone. Okay, Greg. Greg does the
Bible study every week, but he does the I ride
in on Thursday and listen to it on the way
in which I mean he has a long day and
a long way to go. That that is a better
option for him, and I'm glad he's right, and I'm
glad we have that option, well like say the more application,
but I'm glad, I'm glad you're listening. So so anyway,

he literally goes to the door I'm pointing over to
it to my right. He goes to that door to
Greg's office, turns around and says, it's the second door
on the right right, and I said, yeah, done, just
where it's always been. And then he stops and he
turns around with his very kind face, a man of
nothing but humility. Okay, one of the kindest, nicest people

you'll ever meet. Okay, And he says, so Greg didn't
like the medium roasted all he know I do, doesn't
gregers stand what happened. I was, let me finish, let
me finish. Those were for other labels, let me finish.
So I guess I just don't need to make those anymore,
because I mean, Greg, Greg made pretty clear nobody likes those.

You see the printer No, you see the printery walk
about three steps that way. We were just around just
off to my left, our new really hip. We were
joking around about it, and I was just making like that.
I don't want to share with anybody, so I make
them the way I like them, and nobody else said them.

That was the joke, buddy, you've done. That's it isn't
been a one time thing. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
I hear about the MS a lot. No, I just
I just where they go.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
Won't well, you know how some ever seen them because
you won't share for some.

Reason, saying I don't know why I was joking. I
don't know why. Of course, you know one for some reason.
I don't know why. In this little group of brothers,
including one that is literal brother than others that are
you know, indirectly my brothers. Yeah, there's genetic and then
there's you know, we just all for some reason. I

don't know why it is in this group. I always
have to be the one that finally has to say
what has to be said. Everybody else wants to say it,
but I end up having to be the person. I'm
always the voice of let's just cut to the chase
here and uh, And it's not I don't enjoy that,
but but I've always put in that situation and I said,
don let me just shoot you straight. Don't do the
MS anymore, grig and and and and he and he said, yeah,

Greg said he just wants to all be dark, right,
And I said, I said, just bring dark dark only. Well,
he don't have to bring two bags first of all,
so one was that usually medium?

Speaker 3 (24:39):
No, because that I'll overdose on them. I'll take one home.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
But anyway, do you see do you understand the situation now?

Speaker 3 (24:47):
But we were.

Joking around, but we were joking around about I was like,
you know, not want to share my peanuts, but they
have the medium once for everybody else. And I said,
we'll just make them all dark and I'll eat all
of them. And then after it was a joke, I
wasn't serious. Da you got brought in? Do I like
him better?

Sure?

Speaker 2 (25:03):
I do? He said, well, well, Addler every ning of
the mediums. And I said done. I don't think so.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
I'd love the mediums. But I don't ever see the.

Speaker 6 (25:11):
I don't see the peanuts.

I don't see him here. Yeah, So I told Greg,
I did what you wouldn't do. I told don don't
worry about the medium anymore. I said, do you know what,
that's probably easier for him because he just make one
batch dark dark only That's what I told myself. The
messenger says, you're the messenger. Just tell Don that he's

done a great job at this point, and I don't
want to put him out anymore. Of course, did I
would come the peanut go? But you just you just
assumed that role just now. Yeah, apparently I assumed it
much ago. Yeah.

Yeah, so I like the time he brought.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
Didn't he bring him like the church or something to
be there. I'm sitting there, I looked over Greg's peanuts
or riding shotgun at church? What am I doing with
a bunch of peen there? But what happens on the
way through the lobby? What's up with the peanuts?

It can't beat O? You're the peanut middle man?

Speaker 2 (26:00):
Yeah, I thought I thought Dan, it was gonna chase
me to the No you think you don't love that?

Speaker 3 (26:06):
Oh my goodness.

But anyway, now that's hard.

You shouldn't, he said, no, no more, medium.

I just I just I'm tired of hearing about this meeting,
you think, yeah, and so we're hear it a lot.
Do you want me to do? You want me to
do an impression of don dvn't do? I? Yes?

As your question does he have like when he's talking
to you this like, hey, tell Greg, I made these.
Now here's what You don't know if I can eat
two full bags before the next But I promise you
you can.

I've seen you.

This is if you were lost today, we could find
you with the trail of peanuts like that.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
You know that, you know the chairs you put right
over here? Yes, somebody, that's where, he always says.

And when you look over there, don't God love him?
When you look over there, there's all kinds of those
plastic grocery bag bags, you know, the little ones with
other people that want them. Yeah, and and and he's
handing them out, and and over here has got greggs,
and he's looking through his bag, and he's there's your

and tomorrow we have a level four out of five
risk Around Saint.

no this is a, big big area. Here it's a
major storm. System and, again these storms will move into

One and with, that, again all modes of severe weather are,
possible including the chance of a few isolated. Tornadoes but
the greatest concern is round number two for The Southern,
states and that will Be saturday And saturday.

I want to stress the broad risk does run all
the way from The gulf coast To cleveland And cincinnati And.
Pittsburgh but the higher severe weather possibilities are down across
The Southern States saturday And saturday, night and we have
a level four out of five risk defined and that's
relatively rare From birmingham down To mobile And, Baton rouge And, Jackson.

Mississippi but the enhanced risk covers all Of, alabama most Of,
mississippi much Of georgia And. Tennessee and with this second
Round saturday afternoon And saturday, night there is some concern
that there could be a few, violent long track. Tornadoes and,
listen you guys know. ME i don't like to scare.
PEOPLE i don't get into, hyperbole but sometimes we have

(01:20:24):
to use strong. Words we have, to and this is
one of those. Cases and you've got to be in
a position to hear. Warnings that's the key message. Here
and then you've got to have a plan because this
is a high end severe weather. Threat and a couple
of quick points Fellas number, one you just cannot rely as.

Siren and you've heard me preach about this for a long,
time but on a serious, note siren dependency has killed
more people than anything. Else the notion that you're going
to hear Some World War one air raid siren five
miles away in a house or a business or a
car that's not. Working so and everybody needs a weather,
radio but on your, phone be sure the emergency alerts

are turned. On and the other thing. Too the number
two reason people lose their life in violent tornadoes is
typically the lack of helmet. Use most people that die in,
tornadoes it's blunt force trauma above the, shoulders and by
putting on an inexpensive bike, helmet a batting, helmet motorcycle,
helmet football, helmets something that really increases your chance of

survivability in a big.

Way so and again we don't.

Say this to scare, anybody but you've got to understand,
this and you've got to be able to hear the
warnings and do the right thing after it. Happens and

our biggest concern also it's for those that live in
mobile homes and.

Trailers we have to do better for.

THEM i don't think it's realistic to expect people to
sit in this community tornado shelter for six hours during
a tornado. Watch but having said, that if you live
in a mobile home and you go in a tornado Warning,
polygon you can't stay.

There you cannot stay.

There mobile homes wonderful affordable, housing but during a tornado
they're a death. Trap so you've got to know the
nearest shelter or business that's open twenty four to seven
that can serve as a, shelter and know how to
get there quickly and have transportation arranged if you have
to go. There so just some things to think, About,
fellas and the whole thing should be winding down Early sunday,

morning and Then sunday the risk moves to the. East On,
sunday we have a risk of severe storms From, Jacksonville
florida And tallahassee up To, Charlestown, washington d C, baltimore And.
Philadelphia so as you can, see it's a multiple day
event starting tomorrow again over The midwest in The Southern,
states and then it keeps on moving to the, east

warnings and you also get amber alerts and high end

flash flip. Warnings but if you get that, loud loud tone,
out you just got to stop at the next. Exit
if you're in an, interstake next, exit, stop pull, off
go to a gas, station fast food, restaurant any place
like that that offers a better shelter than that. Vehicle
and let's, say by, chance you're on some open, stretch
and thankfully we really don't have a lot of that

States but if you're an open stretch and there's no
rest stop or exit for the next thirty, miles then
you just got to stop and get out of the.

Airborne you lie flat as you, can put your arms
around your head to protect yourself from. Shrapnel but, again
for most people listening to, us you just get off

station or fast food restaurant and stay in there until
the warning is. Over but if that tone goes, out
pay attention to. It this, Weekend, again some events are low,
end and when it comes to severe, weather some events

are high. End and this is high, end and we
look at these. Analogs we look at the upper air
pattern and the surface pattern to see what is this
produced in the. Past and some of the analogs that
show up would Include april, eighth nineteen ninety, eight we
had a HORRIBLE f five tornado that killed a lot
of people in The birmingham. Area december, sixteenth two, thousand

we had a horrible tornado In tuscaloosa that. Day november
twenty fourth and, one we had a series of strong,
tornadoes Not april twenty. Seventh that's not an analog. Here that's.
Generational that type event happens once every forty, years but
this is the kind of thing that happens once every
two or three. Years and so, again we've just got
to get people in a position to hear the, warnings

have a, plan know what to, do and we'll get
through this thing.

Together just, fine all, Right one last, thing you were
up against the break truck driver, said what about?

exit you, know and find safety and if you, can't

get out and get on the. Ground because the good
news about tornadoes is they do go by. Quickly the
