Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's up everyone, and welcome to a special horror themed
month of side quests hosted by You're More horror Inclined
trap nerd Tony. Over the next few weeks, I will
be sharing self written stories centered around a special little
shop that deals in things best left buried, run by
a proprietor whose smile doesn't quite reach his eyes. It's
not on any map, and it's right around the corner

(00:21):
from everything, an antique shop called the Umbre Reliquary, a
true repository of consequence. These aren't just antique, though. They're
anchors for regret, souvenirs of madness, and vessels for things
that won't. Let go. Take a breath because we're about
to step inside, and remember, don't touch anything, and please

(00:43):
try not to break what you can't pay for, because
the umber Reliquary doesn't take cash or card only trades,
and the price is you enjoy. Okay, okay, listen. I

(01:08):
don't know how much time I have left in this cycle.
I think I stopped remembering when I go back, so
I'll start from the beginning. But I'm sorry if this
is all scattered. You all remember when that purple sky
covered the world A couple years back, right, Well, ever

(01:31):
since that day, weird stuff's been going on in my town,
all the people going missing, the supposed skin walkers, this
weird shot that shows up and disappears all over town,
Real twenty twelve, creepy pasta level stuff. At first, I
was only curious, you know. I hate to admit that
I did believe a skin walker's story, so I tended

(01:52):
to avoid digging too deep into those. But this shot,
I figured there was no way a simple antique shop
could be dangerous. I mean, sure, the last person who
wrote a post about it said something like their item
was cursed. But it's the Internet, man, People make stuff
up all the time. So I started searching for it,

(02:12):
and I found it. The Humber Reliquary is real. I
don't know the conditions, but it seems like the plot
of land or the building has to be abandoned. If
you don't believe me, come to and see for yourself.
You heard me walk out that door. Yes there is
a brick wall there now, but you will see the door.

(02:34):
I wish I knew more, but I barely remember my
time in that place. There was some guy who was
an older guy, real old money type and the shop
was really clean, like weirdly clean.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Oh no, oh no, no, no, no, no, it's too soon,
it's too soon.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
I don't know what that thing is. Man, it's been
following me for years, ever since I got this stupid watch.
That's why I'm making this. I need help, and I
don't have time to type this out on some posts.
All I can do is record this and i'll pload

(03:25):
it while I run. This watch used to let me
go back in time to any point after I left
the shop. I went on for three years before I
even remembered that I had the thing. I tried using
it just for the elevator, you know, and boom, I'm
back at that street walking out the shop. The difference
back then was the shop was actually still there. I

(03:46):
remember seeing the old man wave at me before the
door closed, and I couldn't believe it. I even got
to a point that I could control how far back
I went, as long as it was after I left
the shop. It was amazing. Embarrassed myself. Go back a
couple minutes, ruin a relationship, go back a few months.
I did it so frequently that I don't even remember

(04:07):
what I did for my first three years. I don't
even remember the person I was. And then that thing
started showing up. The first time I saw it, I
wasn't even sure that i'd seen anything. I had gone
back a couple minutes to save this woman and her
dog from walking into the road. I thought I was
doing something good, you know, like real hero stuff. Then
down the street I saw this dark figure walking down

(04:30):
the road. I knew it looked out of place, but
at the time I hadn't paid too much mine because
I was so caught up in being a hero. This
thing only shows up when I reversed time, or well
they used to about two years ago or three years
from now. Anyway, I started seeing it outside of the
times I was going back. Nobody else seems to see it.

(04:53):
I've seen people walk right through it. It's tall, like
larger than doorways tall. I only got close one time,
and it was covered in this shadow stuff. It wafts
off it like steam. It was standing right there in
front of me. From a distance, I thought it was
a man. Close those darks inside that shadow infinite. I know,

(05:18):
I know that sounds ridiculous, but this whole thing's messed up.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Man.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
I was so stunned by the roar that before I
knew it, I was slammed against the doorway. I felt
my head smashed into the wood and everything went black.
I thought I was dead, but I ended up back
here with a broken watching a brick wall behind me.
By that time, the shop was gone. I've tried to

(05:42):
return this thing plenty of times, but just leaving it
on the ground puts me right back at the door
before I can even cross the street. I'm so tired.
I've been running for years. Man, the time just keeps
getting shorter and shorter. I was able to go on
for six months before I found myself back at that

(06:02):
stupid door. Wait has it been six months? I can't
think like that anyway. I just need help here. I
don't know how much longer I can keep running. Hell,
I don't even know if anyone's gonna get this. Maybe

(06:26):
someone outside my loop. I don't know. I'm just I'm
just grasping at straws Now, Why is this happening? I just.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Crap, No, no, no, no.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
It's too soon. Okay, Okay, listen, I don't know how

(07:13):
much time I have left in this cycle. I think
I stopped remembering when I go back, so I'll start
from the beginning, but I'm sorry if this is all scattered.
You all remember when that purple sky covered the world
a couple of years back, right, Well, ever since that day,

(07:36):
weird stuff's been going on in my town. All the
people going missing, the supposed skin walkers, this weird shop
that shows up and disappears all over town.
