He can use his feet, he can jab, he can

there by Bill Haney again newsworthy because Bill is saying
stuff all the time, but he is Devon's manager and
coach coming out and saying it, but it isn't official.

I just think that fight's the one they're angling for.
I think that's the one that contracts have gone out for.
And the reason I say that is because Roly Romero
was also in Vegas last night and he was talking
about the Devin Haney fight.

appears that it's been about a week and they still
haven't signed up back. So they got a contract. It's

Okay, that's both sides, even though Roly is you know,
waiting on them to side. Apparently it hasn't been signed yet,
but he also said that contracts are out, so that's
another positive indication that this is potentially going to happen.
But he also says the same date in the same location.
This is all formulating to be right up to the
finish line. And I know in boxing, nothing's ever finished

until it's officially signed, and really until guys get in
the ring. But knock on wood, I think this is
going to be the fight we see on May thirtieth,
and listen, it's a good fight.

It's a unification. It is an.

Interesting style matchup where Roly is very aggressive and he
will walk forward and throw heavy punches. He walked forward
on Davonte and and you know, had a lot of
success before obviously being knocked out, but he's walked forward
in a lot of his fights and taking the fight
to people. Sometimes that plays right into Devin Haightes hands.
He can use his feet, he can jab, he can

move and eventually, you know, out box you or put
you in the center of the ring and then implement
his offense, even get a little bit aggressive himself, as
we saw in the Brian Norman junior fights. So these
are things that make the fight interesting, but also there's
the backstory of what happens with the winner. Let's say
that I assume it can be considered an upset. Let's say,

really one, do you have the Rollie and Ryan rematch
for three of the belts at one forty seven?

Do you have Ryan and Devin? Anyway, if Devin.

Loses that, this is why these these speed bumps before
you get to the fight that's the biggest in the
sport or one of the biggest in the sport with
Devon and Ron can cause a problem.

I want to see selfishly the rematch happened first, But
that's just me. But the rumored rematch for Ryan and Devon,
should it go down, is supposed to be allegedly on

August to heal up potentially and get ready for Ryan. Meanwhile,

I assume Ryan would stay on the couch, not fight
anyone in the meantime from now all the way up
until September, which would be the smart move. Heal up,
evaluate the fight with Devon and Roly, and see what
happens there. But then yesterday you had Ryan Garcia and

key Shane He's Sean Davis facing off at the club.
They were both in Miami, it seems like at the time,
but they're doing their face off. Ryan had also said
he wanted to fight Shaquar Stevenson. The only problem here
is if Keishaan and Ryan fight, and if they were

going to do it, they would do it in the
middle of the year too, right, They would do it
right in the middle of the summer. And I know
that Ryan is down to do something like this. If
that happens and Devin fights Rollie, I'm saying the percentage
we get Devin versus Ryan goes down exponentially one because
I very much value the skill level and talent of

Kishan Davis, but also I value his punching power. I've
seen Richard Torrez, who's a heavyweight olympian here in the
United States, say that Keyshon Davis punches like a heavyweight.
We know that Ryan is electric and he can punch,
but Kishan, with his last performance, he's back on track.

I don't want to see Ryan in there with key
Sean Davis.

If I want to see Devin and Ryan fight again,
because that's a dangerous, dangerous fight, more so to me
than the Roly fight.

the fight.

It's entertaining, it's interesting, but I don't know if that's
the right career path for Ryan. And it wouldn't even

forty seven there yet he just got to forty.

So again, I don't want to muddy the waters here.
That's the whole point.

But at the same time, I also want the best
fighting the best in the sport. So I can't be
mad if Devin and Roly do it on May thirtieth.

In fact, I would be.

Entertained and intrigued by that fight, just because Roly seems
to be the one guy that has all the answers here,
you know, after he's had a couple of slip ups
in his career too. But that's how we bring boxing back, right.
We don't just hide everyone away and wait for the
one big matchup. You start letting go of a loss
means end of career, and these kind of things are enjoyable.
You have guys like Roly, who you know, he lost
(13:54):
to hit Bull Cruise, and you don't expect him to
lose that fight, especially after some of the performances Pit
has had after that. But his only other loss, it's
Dravonte Davis, and all of a sudden really gets back
to the belt and now he's making decisions and he's
becoming a bigger and bigger name by being in these
conversations with Devon.

And beating Ryan. You have Ryan with.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
His two losses, it seems like it doesn't affect him
at all. You have Devn obviously the loss to Ryan
that got expunged, but we all saw what happened there.
But then he comes back and he's got multiple division
world champions and he's a multiple division world champ, and
now he's at forty seven and he becomes a champ again.

These things are great for the sports.

So I'm we're in an embarrassment of riches if this
all gets done. I just hope that none of it
detracts from one day us getting Ryan versus Devin, whether
that's September fifth, later this year, or any other time.
I'd rather have it sooner than later. But that's where
we stand and listen. All the fights will be entertaining.
Like I said, it'd be entertaining to watch Roley and

Ryan again. It'd be entertaining to watch Ryan and Devon.
It'd be entertaining to watch Ryan and key Sean, Devin
and Roly, Devin and Keishaan. That's another fight that Keishan
has been saying he wants is a Devin Haney fight.
So all these things potentially can happen. And as I'm speaking,
Ryan Garcia wants to go on the Joe Rogan podcast.
I don't know if that's gonna happen anytime soon, but

if it does, that'd be sick because Ryan's got a
pretty cool story to tell and he's a very unique individual.
