Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, so we are back on the way concept
presented by the Ring magazine and today, folks, it may
not be over yet. In fact, it's not over yet.
In the wide words of one batatunde Ksi, JJ William
olag day Olatunji. I think I said his name wrong,
but tas I may not actually be retired from boxing,
(00:23):
and we're gonna get into it. We're also going to
take a look today at Misfits Dual number two this Saturday,
Tim Mitchell gab Rosato, I'll be there in Darby in
time Mitchell's backyard. It's a loaded card. I want to
go through it all. I just want to feel what
fight week feels like once again live from a Misfits show.
I'm sure I'll talk to JJ there and speak about
what his fight plans really are. And I want to
(00:44):
say a big thank you to the sponsor that keeps
me strong, keeps me going all day long. Pause. It's
none other than first four. That is right, folks. If
you didn't know, I have been on a fitness revamp
this year after my fight last year, I got a
little out of shape, No, I got a lot out
of shape. Gained about twenty five pounds put myself back
in the place I said I wouldn't go after I
(01:06):
got myself into shape or the fight. So now I'm
back on it and I'm trying my best to keep
myself fueled, hydrated, and well prepared for every workout using
first warm products like my formula one way I Slip
protein and my first form collagen. These two combined together
keep my joints from being achy. Yes I'm thirty three,
(01:26):
I'm an unk, and allows my muscles to recover quicker
after a hard day's workout. And listen, when you're trying
to be consistent, motivation goes out the window. It's all
about discipline, and the less your body hurts, the less
it's gonna make you question whether you want to go
back to the gym over and over, because you do.
You need to. You need to stay healthy. And First
Worm offers that because they are people, not products. First. Yes,
(01:49):
of course they sell products again like my first form

ten percent refund. But I'll see in doing that because
First Form is the best supplementation company inside the United States.
Put my name on that anyway, Thank you First Form
of sponsoring this video. Now let's get back into the breakdown. So,
like I said Ksi Ksi to Nightmare Big twenty twenty six,
(02:57):
I did not think I'd be talking about Ksi Box.
I truly thought it was over right. Even if he
has the song, it's not I thought it was because
he is recommitted to his YouTube. He has really committed
to the Sidemen, and I see that happening for the
foreseeable future, regardless of what he says in this interview.
But there is a clip out there from an iHeartRadio
(03:19):
interview yesterday where KSI talks about his quote unquote retirement
from boxing. It's a very short statement here, but I
think it's an important one. Let's take a listen. What
about can I she wants any more pass anymore boxing?
You said you were retiring.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
No, I'm not retired, but I'm definitely on a break.
Why is that I'm focusing on just YouTube and I'm
making YouTube content. Yeah, I've been going. I'm literally like
I filmed almost every day, just different video ideas, different formats,
different things, just to try and improve the YouTube channel.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Yeah, where'd you get the kind of inspiration? What kind
of so you hear it? There? He didn't say retired. Now. Granted,
could I be reaching like stretch Armstrong? Could I be
reaching further than my neck reaches on a daily basis
because my shoulders are underdeveloped? Maybe? But I also think
that Kasi is a very addictive personality, right, You even
hear him talking about the YouTube. They're like, yeah, I'm
(04:16):
filming every day, I'm recommitted to the YouTube. All it
would take, and I think all it does take for
KSI is to scratch the itch of what if I
came back. Reminder, he is thirty two years old, so
the time is shrinking rapidly. And yes, it would have
to be the right opponent. Yes, it'd have to be
the biggest name. It'd have to be a Jake Paul,
It'd have to be a Conorra Gregor, it'd have to
be a Tommy Fury rematch, whatever I mean, Jake Paul's
(04:39):
probably the option, the only option at this point, but
with Jake losing to Anthony Joshua, with no real plans
for Jake Paul as of right now for twenty twenty six,
I know and the Kissa Baderia is saying he will
fight in twenty twenty six, but we haven't heard a name.
Rumors of Tommy Fury, but we haven't heard. This is
a bit of a positive update if you're a big
fan of watching Ksi fight now again, the addictive personality
(05:01):
would mean he needs to be entrenched into the sport.
It would mean his YouTube content would be cut down.
It would mean he'd take more time away from the
Sidemen videos, or he'd tried to do it all and
burn himself out again. But I think this leaves the
door open. I wasn't convinced. I thought the door was
slam shut, locked and the key thrown away. I'll be honest.
I did not think the KSI would ever box again
(05:21):
him though, again, it's just one statement I've I could
be overlooking the severity of it or the lack of
context in it. But he's you know, he's not retired,
he's taking a break. How long will that break be?
The last time he took a break was three years.
The last fight from KSI will be three years in October.
So if he ends twenty twenty six without a fight,
I would say twenty twenty seven, he'll come back. That's
(05:42):
my prediction right now, is that he's going to take
the rest of the year off, come back in twenty
twenty seven and do it one more time, either that
or end of the year this year for the Big
Misfits send off card. That's that's what I am predicting
right now. Now, Again, who is that going to be?
How it did line up with the Jake Paul fight.
That's the one we all I want to see. I
think that's the only one that really makes sense for
him to come back for. If I'm just being totally honest,
(06:05):
like what else is worth getting? I mean, okay, yeah,
Connor McGregor, but under UFC contract doesn't make a lot
of sense. Don't know how it would work right outside
of that. I just I don't see why you'd come back.
I don't see the point in even talking about not
being retired. If I was him there and I had
truly no plans to coming back, I'd just be like, yeah,
it's over with. You know, I gave it my shot.
I had a good run, you know, three four year
(06:26):
run there and that was it. But there's still something left.
You can hear it in his voice, just you know,
I'm not retired taking a break. You can hear that
he has unfinished business. If he's going to do it
thirty two years old, only getting older, I'd say sooner
than later, twenty twenty seven or the end of twenty
twenty six, mark my words. That's my prediction if and
when KSI comes back, Because again, a break means it's
(06:49):
not goodbye, it's just see you later. For everybody that
does want to see KSI fight at least one more time,
I'd say my optimism level, my confidence level was that
about zero, maybe one or two percent before I'm like
a twenty five percent here, and that kind of juiced
me up a little because I just do think there
is a little bit of unfinished business with him and
Jake Paul. So it's not over yet apparently for KSI,
(07:11):
which is good to hear, because I want to see
the guy try it one more time. I want to see,
of course, like all of us do, the KSI and
Jake Paul fight. That just makes the most sense in
the world to me and I think to everybody else.
But speaking of KSI and speaking of misfits, folks, we
have a misfits card this Saturday that I think we
just need to do a quick breakdown on because I'm
not really seeing a lot of breakdowns on this card,
(07:35):
and since I'm working it, I feel it's not only
my obligation but my duty to tell you guys. Yes
I said duty, are you kiddos, get your mind out
of the gutter. I think we should talk about it.
So here it is Misfits Dual two and the headliner,
Tom Mitchell taking on Gabrosado Son. This is a banger
of a fight, and we're gonna get to that. But
let's talk about every fight on the card. It is
(07:58):
only a one, two, three, four or five six fight
at least on paper card. That could change, there could
be more, uh more fights added here, but you know,
a short enough card, but one that's got some pretty
heavy action to it and some good matchups. You got.
If you guys don't remember Jake Cornish versus Will Anderson,
Jake fought uh Mike Edwards. Let's see if I can
(08:18):
find that. Yeah, Mike Edwards. I don't see any highlights
from that fight, but Mike Edwards won. I don't remember
it being a very you know, memorable fight, to be fair,
but it was an interesting fight. I don't like I said,
I don't really particularly remember the fight, I'll be honest.
But he's coming off a loss. And on the other
side you have Will Anderson, who got beat by another
guy on this card, Jordan Banjo, in a fight that
(08:40):
was a bit sloppy, uh for two heavyweights, you know,
a bit of a I mean, I can't say anything.
I was gassed as after three rounds of my fight too,
but it was a bit sloppy and Jordan ended up
stopping him, if you could say, a controversial stoppage, but
Jordan was pretty much dominating the fight. Here's a couple
of the highlights here, Like it wasn't it wasn't terrible,
but in round one you so this. They were gonna
(09:01):
gas so quickly because they were throwing heat. I mean
especially Will was throwing some major heat and it was
a lot of clenching and a lot of like falling
in behind the shots and expected I want to see
I'm very excited to see Jordan again because he was
putting some work on him too, measuring with the jablands,
feeling the fire, and Will was throwing just haymakers, no jab,
(09:23):
no setup, just big shots, clubbing blows and just trying
to walk through pint like just crazy swinging right now
and gassed already. We're in round two. I back to
Jordan though, that jab right hand behind it four feet
So yeah, I expect about six minutes of fury from
(09:45):
these two. I expect absolute hell for about two and
a half to three minutes, maybe even four or five.
But after we get past the second round, if no
one's knocked out, it's gonna be I think probably a
very sluggish and sloppy fight. But both guys look like
they're to go, so this is a good matchup. Dude's
coming off both guys coming off a loss. Both guys
look like they're in shape. Obviously will throw some big
(10:07):
time power. Mike said. Jake was pretty tough, so we'll see.
Then you have Jay Jones and Egypt Chris. Now I
don't know who she is. I'm assuming that I'm not
to find out though, because I don't even know if
I could show that. But she was apparently supposed to
fight Christian Rock, who is Blueface's baby mama. And that's
really it. I don't know anything other than that Egypt
(10:27):
Chris and her husband are furious as Christian Duck the
Fade growing up hip hop star. Yeah, I don't know
anything about this lady. I don't know if she has
any boxing matches, but the fact that she was gonna
fight Christian Rock, I'm I think that's enough to tell
me she's gonna at least try and swing for the bleachers.
Here here's Duck in the Fade. Oh, jeez, how's this
gonna go?
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Egypt, Chris considers boxing Krishan Rock for her first professional belt.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
What's Someboddy, y'all? I'm here making this video because I
heard that Christian.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Rock is, Oh no, why are your pants on?
Speaker 3 (11:00):
But fighting for X Rumble and it's looking for an opponent,
and so that Jesus would give her a worthy opponent.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Oh she's got guns when it's time.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Well, I'm also a child of God, and I believe
that I am that opponent that's more than worthy enough
to step in the ring with you.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
She says, she's also a child of God. Is that
a bomb vacuum all the liquored up. I'm not saying
you can't do both, but.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
Like being that we're both from the background of reality TV,
and you're very well known in the hip hop industry,
it just so happens.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
To be that I be sure to like, comment and
subscribe in the Princess of hip hop.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
I have yet to make my debut because people have
been duck in the fame with me. But you are
a known baddy, right, so I feel like that shouldn't
be a problem with you. I say, step in the
ring and we display what we got. Being that this
is boxing, it takes a lot of determination, discipline, heart
and high IQ. So I say, let's see who's the
better fit to win that vacated extra championship belt and
(12:02):
see what we got. I feel you, I feel like
we would be a great matchup.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
A f fel you.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
You just let me know and I'll be waiting to
hear back from you. Let's get it, chuck it out.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Okay, she keeps winking at the camera. I don't know
anything about None of that is in the building.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
So stay tuned, y'all. It's coming real soon. You misfits
for everything, and I can't wait to fight for y'all.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
All right, there you go. So this is apparently I
didn't know this, but apparently she is Hepa from Salt
and Pepper's daughter, or it's actually Salt's daughter. I don't know.
I don't know what's happening, Christian Rock cool your contents
say Salt, But that's Peppa sitting on the couch supporting
her daughter. Yeah, I don't know. So, Okay, she is
fighting Jay Jones, who is an Olympic champion in Taekwon
(12:45):
do so jumping sidekicks hold that so she's got combat
sport experience. I'm not gonna yeah, I probably should turn
that off. She's got combat sport experience. Definitely a good athlete. Yeah, okay,
can we see some hands though? You know, here, here
we go, I gotta see some hands. Oh shit, Okay, yeah, okay, uh,
(13:08):
I'm not a big fan of that uppercut. Now she's
south paw. Now, all of a sudden, she's South paw. Okay,
all right, let's keep our hands a little higher though. Okay, yeah,
we might have a problem here. This girl's got some
nasty hands. A little bit unorthodox, but she got some
(13:29):
nasty hands. One to one uppercuts okay, ah, touch uppy.
Yeah if this was if this was kickboxing, I'd be
I'd be far more worried. I'd be like, yeah, this
ain't gonna sing, gonna go well, but you know it
is just boxing. Damn her leg ups like that. That's
kind of crazy. We got some sparring here. I know
it's it's kicking sparring or is that just still yeah,
(13:51):
still kicking sparring. So okay, we get to see a
little bit there. Very interesting. I'm excited for this, I'll
be honest, because I don't know what I'm I don't
know what to expect again, first boxing match for either girl, Yeah,
four rounds, two minutes, so fair play. Then we have
Carla Ja Pearl Gonzales, both ladies obviously coming off the win.
Two champs fighting for the Misfits Women's at middleweight belt.
(14:12):
Carla with the big time win over Taylor Starling in
her last one. That was huge, and she says she's
been on a winch street just boom boom boom boom.
Had the draw here but still undefeated, undisputed. Pearl Gonzales
on the other hand, coming off the victory versus ty Emery.
Both ladies got a big time decision there. I actually
am very excited for this champ, verus champ. We want
(14:34):
to see that. Five rounds, two minutes. We know what
both ladies bring, and Carla is very rangy, you know
for her to vision and again she's been in there
with everybody on Misfits now, so I'm excited for this one. Man.
Pearl Gonzales, big crowd favorite last time, and they had
the little push and shove in the ring, So this
one's set up. I think fight week's gonna be crazy.
Carla usually takes over fight week when it comes to
(14:55):
these press conferences and stuff, so we'll see how that goes.
Then we have While Lead versus Argentinian King. Very interesting
matchup here. I'm very very excited to see these two
go at it. Argentinian King got a big time win
over not little Craig Ray smallest part in Jay what
am I talking about? And his last one. We have Wali,
who obviously has kind of been up and down in
(15:16):
the scene, had the loss versus Fox. This kind of
Fox is coming out party here, big time win for him,
but you know, while he trying to get back on
the horse. This will be an entertaining fight. Then we
have Tempo Arts coming back and I know these are
not you know our influencer names Frankie Freelove. What a
name for Tempo. I like it, the alliteration on it.
Tempo's the man though you know he is undefeated right,
(15:37):
hasn't lost coming back. I thought he had retired as well,
And here he is back on a Misfits card, duel
number two, and he's taken on Jordan Banjo and this
dude is a unit son. He's got to be like
six six two forty has the win over will Anderson.
But he's more than that. He can actually box. He's
got a little bit of talent and skill, you know,
(15:57):
no shade to anybody else, but I would like to
see him in depending on how this goes. Him and
Chase would be a fun matchup as well, right Like,
look at some of the I know again he's gassed here,
but empty jab back on the jab, touching him with it,
you know what I mean, fa rolling with the shot
there again. It's it's they're both tired, but still touch
(16:19):
them with the.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Jabnation has gone to them a little bit in tons
of fot in tons of uppercut, get off me. Round
was really fun to.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
Wall the shots right there. I think he's I think
he's got some skill for sure. So uh, you know,
we'll see what tempo looks like coming back to the scene.
But very interesting fight. That's the co main event, and
then of course we get to the main event, and
this one is a big one for the Misfits Pro
Light Heavyweight title. Eight rounds and one hundred and seventy
(16:51):
five pounds for Ty Mitchell and Gabriel Rosato. If you
guys don't know who gab Rosatto is you you're living
under a rock. Gabe has fought for multiple world titles,
super middleweight world title, middleweight world titles, and you know
he didn't ever win a world title. But he's been
in the ring with some of the best of the
previous era of boxing and some of the up and
(17:12):
coming era as well. He's been in with guys like
Triple G. He's been in with Jay Leon. I think
this is the yeah, this is the fight where Jillian
got popped. He has been in with Charlow, He's been
in with David Lemieux, been in there with Daniel Jacobs,
Jimi Mungia, Seane Osley Junior, like the Krem Da La
Krem of some of the higher level boxers in this sport,
(17:33):
Derek Ennis. When you look at a guy like Gabrozato,
he not only has a big name. He was in
the Creed movie. We remember that he's fought for multiple
world titles, both of the middleweight and super middleweight division.
This will be at one seventy five, so even a
step up from that. But his record may not look,
you know, insane, but if you've ever watched one of
his fights, he comes to fight, he bites down on
(17:56):
that mouthpiece, and yes there's technique, and yes they're skill.
He's been training at the card gym with Freddie Roach
for you know, I don't know how long, but a
long time in his career as well. So you're gonna
get technique, you're gonna at skill, but you're also gonna
get a war. And Ty Mitchell now the newest or
one of the newest signees to Misfits Pro. They call
him the Darby Banger because we know why. He's got
(18:19):
dynamite in his left hand from Darby obviously, is why
we're having this fight there. It's in his backyard. Just
a massive, massive win over Sean Hemphill, demolished Idris Virgo,
smoked pretty much everybody. I mean, I don't even have
it on here, but smoked. Tommy Hinch as well. Had
the big layoff obviously from this fight years and years ago.
But now he's back and he's trying to make a
run here and he needs to be active, Let's be honest.
(18:41):
Thirty five years old, it's it's pisser got off the
pot time. You know, Gabe is forty, so it's a
different challenge than Seawan Hemphill, who at the time was
you know, number fourteen ranked in the WBA, had only
had two losses coming into that fight, and one was
to William Skull, who had held the belt. He was
the world champ before you know, the Canelo fight. So
this will be a different for a circumstance though. This
(19:01):
will be a bit more of a bite down in
the mouthpiece war, and I expect fireworks from both guys.
I expect to see, you know, again, we keep talking
about Toy Mitchell taking that next step, starting to climb
the ladder. This is another massive experience fight for him.
It'll be the most experienced guy he's ever fought, right,
Sean Hemphill was nineteen and two. But Gabrozatto again, yeah,
twenty eight and seventeen. But guy's been in there forty
(19:23):
plus times as twenty eight wins to his name, has
been in with the best names in the world and
still has some left. You got to get past him, though,
if you're Tom Mitchell, you have to get past a
guy like gabrie Otto, and honestly, you might need to
look more impressive than you looked against Sean Hemphill, which
early on in that fight Ty looked very impressive, but
you know, the gas tank kind of got to him late.
Can he change that up? Can he solidify that as
(19:45):
he comes into this one, Because regardless of what you
think of Gabe's record, he's on the two fight win
street right. Yes, I know four losses before that, but
to good fighters, Iima, Mgia, Shaye Mosley Junior, these are
all good fighter So Ty's got his work cut out
for him. He's got to do it in his backyard.
He's going to have a a ton of fans there.
I'm excited for it. Hope you guys are as well.
I will see you as you're seeing this video. It'll
(20:06):
be Monday, so i'll see you later this week. I'll
be there for the press conference, I'll be there for
the Way Ends fight night. I'm gonna be on comms
for you guys, and then we'll come back and we'll
get ready for that Misfits Pro about April fourth in London,
Derek Chazora, Derek war Chazora versus Deontay Wild. There's gonna
be a banger a couple of fights for these next
couple of months, and then it's off to the races,
(20:27):
Big boxing cards, throughout the year. You guys, let me know,
what do you think about this car? Drop it in
the comments. What do you think about KSI's soft unretiring
right his walking back the I'm done with boxing to say, well,
I'm just taking a break from it. Does he mean that?
Was it just a slight comment? Did I take too
much out of it? Probably? But if he is coming back,
(20:47):
I'm gonna predict it's at the end of this year.
We're in twenty twenty seven and there's only one, maybe
two names he'd do it for. Jake Paul, who currently
hasn't had an opponent lined up. He's got the jaw surgery,
potentially a Conor McGregor outside of his UFC contract. What
do you guys think? Let me go down below and
what happens this Saturday at Misfits duel too. I don't
have those answers, but I guess we'll find out.
