Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, folks, we're back on the Way concept presented
(00:02):
by The Ring Magazine, and today we have the first
face off between Ryan Garcia and Mario Barrios. This fight
is going to be a banger on February twenty First,
it goes down for the WBC Welterweight Championship, Mario Barrios,
your champion, taking on Ryan Garcia. Both guys looking to
make a statement. Ryan coming off the loss to Roly Romero,
(00:24):
which was I would say, I mean, quite honestly, it
was a bit of an embarrassing loss from Ryan. He
did not perform well. Roley kind of just steamrolled him,
no pun intended. And on the other side, Mario Barrios
coming off of two draws to keep his belt, the
first against Abel Ramos, in the second against late forties
Manny Pacio coming out of retirement to challenge for the
WBC World Championship and almost won the damn thing. So
(00:47):
both guys coming off some performances and need a massive redemption,
which is why I think we're in for a banger
of a fight. Mario Barrios usually brings the heat. Ryan
Garcia usually bring the heat, and I think they're both
gonna bring it in this fight. But before we get there,
who's gonna win these mind games? Who is going to
(01:07):
take the first w in there? First sit down? It's
the face off, the breakdown. Let's go.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Fella's good to see both of you, Mario, you do
have a pretty impressive resume, guys like Keith Thurman, Gervonte
Davis most recently, Manny Pacio. Do you see Ryan Garcia
as being on that kind of level.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
I mean, he's definitely here for a reason. Uh, he's dangerous,
you know everything that he brings in there, So I
mean he's definitely worthy of to be in real.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Quick, Why did Chris Mannix mention three of the worst
performances that Mario Barrios has had as his resume? To
be fair, this is why I say that Barrios I don't.
I've said that Brios is one of the worst world
champions in boxing right now, and I know that sounds
a bit harsh, but like every time he gets put
in there with a world level guy, he either underperforms
(02:01):
or just straight up loses. Right, Keith Thurman's a loss
to Fronte Davis gets knocked out man he Paqiao fight
obviously not a great night for Mario Barrio.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
So my.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
I'm not trying to sound like an asshole when I
say that, but his biggest competition, I mean, he did
beat Ugas, to be fair, he beat uh Ugas and
that was a massive win for his career. But the
three best guys he's faced, two of them beat him,
and the other one was a forty eight year old
Manny Pacio. At least in name value, it wasn't a
good night for Mario. And that's part of the reason
why this fight is so interesting, because this isn't a
foregone conclusion Ryan Garcia win, because Ryan's resume is kind
(02:35):
of in that same boat again. You know, you have
the Devon Haney win that's been reversed. Now for the Osteen,
you have the lost to Jervonte Davis, and I would
say worse fashion Ran. It was one hundred and thirty
five and rehydration all that, but worse fashion than the
Mario Barrios fight. And the biggest win Ryan Garcia, now
that the Devon Haney fight is not counted as a win,
is probably Luke Campbell and Oscar Duarte, which again good wins,
(02:58):
but not world level fighters.
Speaker 5 (03:01):
A live opponent.
Speaker 6 (03:02):
Sounds like, oh he called him.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
A live opponent, all right, you a live dog.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Yes, they're not worthy of being a live opponent is
a lot, Yeah he is, Ryan, What do you think
of that?
Speaker 7 (03:14):
When I'm at the top of my game, top condition,
top four, I'm definitely worthy for sure.
Speaker 6 (03:20):
Do you think the best of him can beat the
best of you?
Speaker 8 (03:23):
No?
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Yeah, I mean I'm.
Speaker 5 (03:26):
Asking like a pretty like you know what he's going
to answer.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
In fact, I was going to be like, what are you, Chris,
What do you expect him to say? You think the
best of that guy could beat you? Of course he's
going to be like, no, dude, of course not. I'm
smoking him or whatever. I'm going to beat him. His
best version can't beat my best version. Otherwise I even
show up, put the belt on the table and say
let's run it. You know what I mean? No, yeah,
you're right, the best version, Ryan Arciea smokes me.
Speaker 5 (03:47):
What.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
You had a few options, you know, coming into the
making of this fight.
Speaker 6 (03:53):
You could have pursued a rematch with Roly Romero.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
There was conversation about you fighting Jake Paul just this
past year, but you told everybody that this was the
fight you wanted.
Speaker 6 (04:03):
Why was this the fight that you wanted?
Speaker 7 (04:04):
You know, I try to let all my decisions be
led by God, and I felt like this was the right,
you know, decision to make. And you know, he's a
great fighter. You know, he's never been in a bad fight.
He's always come in a fight. Even in the championship rowns.
You see that he's firing back and finds a way to,
you know, make sure the gap ain't ain't too far out,
(04:24):
you know.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
So this what pisses me off about Geronte Davis. I
was just thinking about this. Gervonte Davis has beating Ryan Garcia,
he's beating Mario Barrios, and he's beaten Roly Romero. And
the dude can't keep his back together long enough to
become an all time great or one of the greats
of this generation in the sport. I think the dude
is so skilled, but he's such.
Speaker 7 (04:42):
A due He's one of those guys that's gonna come
to fight, you know, and we're gonna have a great
one on our hands.
Speaker 5 (04:48):
So, uh, he just seemed like the right person to be.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Is it Mario Barrios or is it the belt?
Speaker 7 (04:54):
Oh, it's definitely the beout too. You know, Mario Gotta,
I want to touch it. You know they say it's
bad luck so and not even touch it yet. But
you know I'm coming to take that. And you know
he's the champion. He got to defend it.
Speaker 5 (05:05):
And that's why we're here.
Speaker 6 (05:06):
You've seen Ryan.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
It's one hundred percent for the belt. And because it
doesn't mean he has to rematch. Really, I'm not even
trying to take shots at Ryan because, like I said,
I would do the same thing. But Ryan wants to
be a world champion. Who doesn't And again, the potential
for a Roly rematch to unify the belts is probably
a bit bigger obviously if he has the WBC.
Speaker 6 (05:24):
What did you think of what you saw against Romero
last May?
Speaker 3 (05:27):
I look into like the best version of you know
that we have seen of him, and that's the version
that I'm getting ready for Ryan.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
You said the best version of Ryan Garcia was probably
the Oscar Duarte fight. Really like the bet the version
of Ryan that beat Devin Haney, I don't even think
was the best. Ryan Garcia showed up out of shape,
you know, lost rounds just because he wasn't in shape.
And his timing was great that night, and he landed
the shots and it was an entertaining fight. But I
don't think that was even the best version of him
because he got hit with some shit in that fight too,
(05:55):
you know what I mean. And again, the left hook
that seems to plague Ryan hit him in that fight,
just like it hit him in the Roly fight. I
don't know. I don't know what the best version of
Ryan is. What, like the best all around version we've
seen in him probably the Dart fight.
Speaker 6 (06:07):
You don't know which version of you is going to
show up.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
Yeah, I mean, I know which one's versions gonna show up.
Speaker 7 (06:13):
With this fight, you know, at the end of the day,
you know, Uh, that Roly camp was just a hard
one to get by.
Speaker 5 (06:20):
You know.
Speaker 7 (06:21):
I was doing a stupid shit, not treating my body
like a temple before that. I mean, obviously I had
a year layoff, but it's okay, it's behind us. I'm
ready to get position my body to be in top form.
I feel in top form, top shape, and.
Speaker 5 (06:35):
Uh, and that's what he's gonna get, you know, the best.
Speaker 6 (06:37):
Version of me, Mario.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
I wonder what is the best version of Ryan, Like
physically Obviously he wasn't in great shape for the Devin
Hainey fight, and I guess he just kind of let
that happen again in the Roly fight. But he's been
you know, thirst trapping on Instagram and everything else. He's
got the abs back, he's he looks like he's in
great shape. I wonder where the mentality is right. Does
does Ryan need to be on a full crash out
(06:59):
on Twitter every doing crazy stuff to be in the
right mindset to go and catch a body or can
he go back to the you know, the previous somewhat
more quiet Ryan that shows up on fight night with
dynamite in his hands and still be that aggressive monster
in there. It'll be interesting to see mentally more so
than physically where and maybe those three things are intertwined.
But what Ryan Garcia shows up.
Speaker 6 (07:18):
You see as some of your advantages coming into this fight.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
I think the venices I have coming to this sight,
it's just uh over. It is like everything you know,
my my experience, you know who I've been in the
ring with, who I faced? I think you know the
boxing i Q. I think I have that on my side.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
He got Joe Gusten on his side. You got Ryan's
former camp on his side.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
You know, heart I think he h yeah, he does have.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
Mario did say in the press conference too that Ryan.
You know, he said he won't be taking any knees
over here, So he thinks Ryan's a quitter.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Experience more experience at a higher level than you probably
do over a number of years.
Speaker 6 (07:54):
Do you think that's in your head? Maybe? Don't think
that's true.
Speaker 5 (07:56):
I mean it's debatable.
Speaker 7 (07:56):
You know, everybody has, you know, a time to you know,
everybody say somebody's fighting ten years.
Speaker 5 (08:04):
Not everybody develops the same and all that.
Speaker 7 (08:06):
So it's kind of like, you know, he can say
he has a lot of experience, but you know, Luke
Cambought a lot of experience, A lot of people have
a lot of experience.
Speaker 5 (08:13):
But you know, when you get in there, it's how
on point you are that night.
Speaker 7 (08:17):
You know your experience could you know, say you're not
on your some of that experience fades away, you know,
if you're not on it.
Speaker 5 (08:24):
So we'll see what he brings that night.
Speaker 7 (08:27):
But you know, I feel like I have a lot
of experience as well, and when I'm in top condition
and I feel like it all shows.
Speaker 5 (08:33):
So we will see if every twenty first I.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
Kind of agree with that. I mean, Devin Haney on
paper should have beaten Ryan Garcia to a pulp, you know, like, Okay,
maybe not because Devin doesn't throw like that, but Devin
should have completely outclassed Ryan Garcia the way he did
Brian Norman. And it just didn't happen that way that
night because it really isn't necessarily about experience. This idea
that experience is the great equalizer in combat sports has
(08:56):
kind of gone by the wayside. I've been on the
wrong side of predictions based on experience for a long
time now. We just kind of saw it, really and
the TFM A Lopez and Chaquurse Stevenson f who what
Chiquor fought that was on the level of opponents that
tia Fimo had fought To that point answers nobody right
like Tiafimo had, the Cilio Machenko had, Josh Taylor had,
big name, had hard fights on his resume, George Campbosis,
(09:16):
whatever you want to say about that fight. Cha course
Stevenson had Williams of Paedo. It when Dale Santos like
these weren't the best of the best in terms of
pro competition, and Cha course showed that that shit didn't
matter one single bit. Styles made fights, and he went
out there and performed and exposed that experience factor isn't
as big as people think as fights.
Speaker 7 (09:37):
What do you say, Like I said, I see an
overall consistent, really good fighter.
Speaker 5 (09:43):
You know what I mean. There's nothing that like super
pops out to me.
Speaker 7 (09:46):
But I know that when he comes to mean steps
in the ring, you're gonna get that version of him
every time. He's been pretty consistent. He's pretty sharp with
some counters. But there's a lot of things I see
that I could take advantage of him, but we will
see come that fight night.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
It's pretty interesting Ryan does, I think better sometimes with
either counter punchers or punchers that he can counter right
counter punchers if you can set them up to them
be countered countering the counter essentially like Ryan with his
left hand. Let's say he throws flicks that jab out
someone wants to pull right hand. He comes over the
top of the right hand with the left hook. He's
had a lot of success with that throwing while you throw.
(10:25):
I think Ryan himself is a better counter puncher than
he is a dance leader. So we'll see how this goes.
But I think I think when it comes down to it,
we're not going to get the same kind of like
boxing technical matchup that we saw with Tiafimo and Shakor,
even though that that became a one sided kind of
outing for Shakur. I think both guys will step their
feet into that that tire and saying the phone move
Eventually at certain points, I just want to see again
(10:47):
who's gonna be gun shy, because I mean, honest, Mario
Barrios is a bit gun shy against against Manny Pakia again.
New team. Now he's with Joe Goosen, who that's a
big factor. Joe Goosen knows Ryan like the back of
his hand. Same with Wally who trains with you. That'll
be an interesting dynamic. But both guys were very tentative
in their last fight, and they're not usually those kind
of fighters. So who's going to come back to what
(11:07):
they usually do and take more risks.
Speaker 4 (11:09):
We'll see.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
Do you believe he's on the level of the guys
that you fought them, Well for sure, I mean, without
a doubt.
Speaker 7 (11:14):
You know, he cham definitely a worthy opponent and a
good representation of the world champion, and that's what makes
it expense. It's fun about it. We don't want to know,
you know, Patty Cakes here. Yeah, brother, we want somebody
that could fight. So yeah, no, it's truly an honor
to fight a good champion and you know have this opportunity, right.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Ryan's gonna come in looking to fight. It's like I said, there,
is that the kind of fight you're expecting? A physical one.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
No, yeah, definitely, I mean that's that's the type of fights.
Speaker 4 (11:44):
You know.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
I'm usually uh, you know, they give me pump. You know,
that's one of the reasons why you know, we we
did you know, you know, choose Ryan, you know for
the for this next fight, you know, yeah, because we
know you know, he wants a shrap and uh you know,
I know a Ryan that's on this. You know, he's
gonna come with it, and uh yeah, it's gonna be
(12:05):
a great night.
Speaker 5 (12:06):
And I'm a Spicer.
Speaker 7 (12:07):
The only thing I'm worried about him for is Joe
don't stop fights.
Speaker 5 (12:11):
So if he's.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Getting okay, So now Ryan is calling him on his head. Coach,
He's like, yeah, y'all got you, you got Joe goosen
and Joe knows me. But I know Joe and he
ain't gonna stop it when it gets bad for you.
Speaker 5 (12:24):
So if he's getting clip cut, he ain't gonna stop
the fight.
Speaker 7 (12:28):
I'm just telling you, you ain't gonna stop that fight. I
know you don't want it, but he ain't coming to
save you. I'll tell you that. Like Joe is one
of those guys. So because I predict it's gonna be
a bloody fight, I'm being dead serious.
Speaker 5 (12:38):
I need to save it.
Speaker 7 (12:39):
I think it's gonna be a lot of cuts. I'm
just saying, mark my words, and I think he's gonna
need to stop it, but he won't.
Speaker 5 (12:47):
Hey, you're a warrior.
Speaker 7 (12:48):
You're astec warrior, so right, so it's gonna be good if.
Speaker 6 (12:56):
You brought it up.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
There are these moments where Ryan comes out of his
show a little and now I'm remembering back the Devin
Haney build up. He was wild. That man was like,
where's your mama? I want your mama, where's your mom?
Talking to Devin Haty. But that was like, that was personal.
That fight was personal for both those guys. Bill Hanny
was saying his son was gonna kill Ry. It was crazy.
You know, in the Roly fight, everything was super laid back.
(13:17):
I was there at the press conference watching Ryan just
kind of more be so, you know, locked in on
Devin and maybe overlooking Roly. He can't make that mistake here,
and it doesn't look like he has. It doesn't look
like he's overlooked Mario Barrios. He absolutely believes he's gonna
knock Mario Barrios out, and that kind of confidence is
what you want to see. This is kind of the
old Ryan, a little bit more I would say subdued
(13:37):
obviously than the Devin Haney fight, but his early career
he was a subdued guy. The trash stark started coming
out more with the Jervonte Davis fight and even the
Oscar Duarte fight. He was talking dressed to Oscar de
la Hoya. He was like, yo, you want him to
watch this. And again, as much as Brios I think
is the most gettable champion at forty seven, right now,
he's still a dog and he's still been in there
with some tough, tough dudes, and he's gone right with
(14:00):
tough tough dudes. He's not easy to stop, not easy
to get out of there. Jervonte took him eleven twelve
rounds in the touch of Floyd Mayweather in the corner
to get him out of there. So we'll see.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Man, you've been trained by Bob Santos for a long time.
You made the decision to change trainers, and he made
the decision to go to Joe Goosen, who most recently
trained Ryan Garcia.
Speaker 6 (14:19):
I guess i'll start with you on this one.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
Ryan, what did you think when you found out that
your former trainer was going to be training him?
Speaker 5 (14:26):
Looking my lips, Oh he already.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Knows, buddy. That is not you licking your lips. That
is you deep throat in your own finger.
Speaker 6 (14:33):
I don't know what training him. Hey, look at my lips.
Speaker 5 (14:38):
Oh, he already knows. This is about it be a
he's gonna be bad because I know all that. I
know what he's training, like, I know everything. You know.
Speaker 7 (14:46):
They could say, oh, he knows, but he didn't train
with me long enough. I know, been knowing Joe since
I was seventeen. I know exactly, and I haven't trained
with them. I just watched him, so I know exactly
how he trains his fighter, exactly what they're doing.
Speaker 5 (14:58):
So to me, it was.
Speaker 7 (14:59):
Like oh, thank God, And you give me an event?
Is it's just another events for me? And you know
where leaks, things leak, you know Joe was a part
of that.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
I don't want to get too into.
Speaker 6 (15:10):
It, but you know, do you think Joe was leaking stuff?
Speaker 5 (15:13):
I don't know. I say that allegedly, allegedly, I don't know.
I have no no clue.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
Mario, very interesting answer. I always wonder who makes a fighter, right,
especially in boxing combat sports? Is it a coach that
makes the fighter or the fighter that makes the coach. Now,
Joe Goosen has a track record of being a high
level boxing coach, we know, But do coaches change for
fighters or do they implement what they know to fighters
and fighters change for coaches? Because this will be the
(15:40):
real the crux of what happens here. Can Joe Goosen
not to call Mario Barrios old, but can he teach
an old dog new tricks? Can he give him something
that Bob Santo's hasn't sure? Can he give him more
info about what Ryan likes to do? Absolutely? But will
it be enough to prepare him for what Ryan knows
that Joe knows, and how Joe trains fighters and how
Joe runs a camp and how rigid he might be.
(16:01):
And even that that last part, Ryan's talking about information leaking,
maybe from Joe or that Joe was leaking information about
Barrios or about I'm not sure who he was talking about,
rout Ryan about Barrios, but Ryan again seems confident that
he knows exactly what they want to do and maybe
even knows what's going on in Barrios's camp, which again,
does that really mean a lot? Who knows? But again,
what makes a fighter? Is it the coach themselves that
(16:23):
make a fighter or does a fighter make a coach?
You guys let me know in the comments.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
A lot of trainers in boxing, why'd you go with
the one that used to train Ryan Garcia.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
I'm in there like a position with these next couple
of years. I want to do as much as they
came with boxing. And I mean I was having like
little issues in my last couple of camps and it
was just kind of one of those things that made
my team felt that I needed to do in the moment,
you know, change the scenery, change of this, and uh,
I mean the move with Joe. It had nothing to
(16:51):
do with Ryan like that that was going to happen
regardless of whether this fight was made or not.
Speaker 6 (16:54):
Do you think it was a coincidence?
Speaker 5 (16:56):
Yeah, I mean I don't know.
Speaker 7 (16:58):
Yeah, I think of a I don't think it was
more like I don't think it was like, hey, I'm
gonna do this and try to throw them off be bro.
I think it was a miss chess move. I don't
think it was a good chess move, but we'll see.
Speaker 5 (17:09):
Why don't you think it was a good chess I
don't think it's a good fit for him.
Speaker 7 (17:13):
I know, I think you know Bob was cool, well Bob,
you know, Bob was a good trainer. So we'll see.
We'll see, though maybe you can put me wrong. See right,
That's the whole point is how's the fifth Then it's
been good? I mean I stayed.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
I uh can I hear to la or worked with
Joe for a week in November. I liked it, and
then I came right back at the beginning of December,
and then the that's the when we started camp.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
Now, I'm not going to say who I heard things from,
but I have heard kind of what Marios referring to
is like, you know, the camp changing a little bit
and being a little frustrated with it. Not to say
I know what happened in camp, but I do know
from sources about the chaos in the corner, or not
maybe chaos, but the kind of misdirection in the corner
of the Mini Pacyao fight where Bob Santos is saying
(17:59):
one thing and other cornermen are saying that, are you
know a part of Mario's kind of og team are
saying another? He's pretty well known that I think. I
think it's I would assume well known that Mario Barrios's
dad used to train him, and I don't know if
he was in the corner or it was somebody else,
but there was a miscommunication, it seemed like, from even
the people in the corner around the strategy of the
Barrios fight for what they wanted to do against Manny Pakiao,
(18:22):
And let's just say I heard from sources there were
a lot of frustrations that came out of that fight
with how Barrios went into that fight, how he performed
in that fight, and how directions were listened to from
either one side or the other. It felt like it
was a bit of a confusing thing. So when you
have that kind of a situation, you feel like you
need to make a move. One person's going to get
left out in the dust, and it's probably not someone
(18:43):
that's either one your family or two a part of
your OG team as you were being brought up. That
means Bob Santos, who I love, Bob is the man. Again.
I have no idea who made that call or whatever,
but I do understand Barrios wanting to get a different look.
I also understand Ryan saying it may not be the
best fit for you based on things that have already
happened with you, and maybe you shouldn't have left.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
Bob.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
We'll see suggested he knows some things about how to
beat Ryan Garcia.
Speaker 5 (19:09):
Oh definitely.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
But I mean there was like there's things just even
in general, just you know, as as a fighter, uh,
you know, things I see in his style that I
could take advantage.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
Of the left hook, Ryan's chin being up in the air,
him staying on center line. A lot of this stuff
is pretty basic with Ryan, but he gets away with
it because Ryan's also a little bit flat footed, and
this stuff is you know, somewhat basic with Ryan in
terms of like what he does wrong versus what he
does right from an outsider perspective, which again, if I'm
standing in front of it, a lot harder to do.
(19:41):
But Mario has definitely seen all that. And if you
can take advantage of those mistakes, get inside his jab,
counter off his hook with one of your own, throw
a combination. Ryan kind of judts that chin back and
go straight back with the frame. You can land on him. Absolutely,
no doubt. Ryan has some flaws in his defense. For sure,
the Ryan roll if it's not working, the feet are
(20:01):
very close, or some things to take advantage of.
Speaker 3 (20:03):
Yeah, and then I mean, of course too, everything that
Joe brings to the table. So I mean I'm confident
in our game plan and just the work that that
we're putting in.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
What do you think Joe's telling him about you?
Speaker 7 (20:17):
I mean, same thing as everybody says, you know, left him,
make sure that's a you.
Speaker 5 (20:22):
Gotta protect it, blah blah blah. Like I just that's
what I would imagine he's saying.
Speaker 7 (20:27):
And got to take that away. It's probably you know,
a little things like that. You know, they drill a
lot of just keeping the hands up.
Speaker 5 (20:34):
All day long. So it was out of here, here, here, here, here, but.
Speaker 7 (20:38):
You know, this freestyle type of boxing, you know, with technique,
is going to overwhelm this man, so you think it's better.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
It's very interesting to hear Ryan talk about like basic
fundamentals being overwhelmed by freestyle, and again it's happened a lot.
Ryan has taken advantage of a lot of you know,
very orthodox trained fighters with his timing, with his speed,
and you know, with that mentality of we're gonna I'm
gonna punch you with eight ounce gloves on, and no
matter what kind of guards you have, if I touch
(21:05):
anything with this left hand, you're going to sleep. It
allows Ryan to be more free, obviously with his hands
a little lower. But again they say it's the Marcus
of Queensberry for a reason, right. The fundamentals win fights.
We just saw sha cour Stevenson win a fight with fundamentals.
And when it takes you more time and more effort
to do the things that fundamentals do for you, then
(21:25):
it's a risk that Ryan likes to take, but it's
sometimes unnecessary. It makes him a little unorthodox, it makes
him somewhat harder to prepare for. But the fundamentals work.
They broke, don't fix it.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
Right, Do you think that we didn't see that power
in the last fight against Roly. I'm sure there were
a lot of reasons, like you talked a both there,
but are you are you certain? Are you confident that
that power of yours that we saw at one thirty
five to a degree at one forty is still there.
Speaker 5 (21:45):
One hundred percent?
Speaker 7 (21:46):
Yeah, It's just some people just have off nights, brother,
you know, Tom Brady can't have a great nighte every night,
you know. I mean, it's just one of those things
that didn't come in top four, you know. And I
was looking like a deer in headlights. This is what
it is. But in then, if you really watch them,
I really ain't really get hit too much. I just
didn't throw. I lost because I didn't really I was
uninterested in the fight. But if you watch it, I
(22:07):
didn't really get hit consistently.
Speaker 5 (22:10):
You know.
Speaker 7 (22:10):
It was just like I kind of almost I just
didn't take take it.
Speaker 5 (22:14):
It was there for me to win. I just didn't
throw no bunches.
Speaker 1 (22:16):
So, I mean he did get dropped. There was like
almost no output from either guy. But the guy that
was doing the punching and landing for the most part
was Roly. I don't know what that like. Yeah, Ryan
didn't get like pieced up and knocked out cold or whatever,
but he got dropped with the left hand. And if
you're asking why Hryan wasn't throwing back at least again,
from an outsider perspective, I can't talk about like his
interest level in the fight or whatever. It's probably because
(22:38):
didn't want to get caught with another big left hook.
At least part of it was because of that, right,
I would assume. I don't think Ryan's making excuses there.
But at the same time, you got to own it.
He just roly beat you that night. That's just what happened.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
You're familiar with climbing the weight classes one thirty five.
Now you're here at one forty seven. Do you think
the fact that you've been at one forty seven for
a pretty long time now, is that an advantage for you?
Speaker 3 (22:59):
I think so, you know, I mean, Rynie, he's not
a he's not a small dude, So he's not somebody
that I feel like, you know, it has to grow
into the weight But uh yeah, I mean I've been
here at wilts wwaight now for going on like four
and four and a half years. I feel very very
established now, you know, as as a waltsa wait, I
feel like, you know, I definitely in my prime at
(23:21):
this at this division. I think you know that that's
something that you know can can benefit me, you know
in the fight.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Maybe, But we we need to learn our lesson about
these weight class jumpings. We're talking about one thirty five seven.
That's three weight classes in the span of twelve pounds.
We just saw Schaquur Stevenson move up to one forty
after being at one thirty, after being at one thirty five,
after being at one twenty six, and doing that like
it was nothing. And again, I know to is not
the biggest one forty, but he just saw Terrence Crawford
(23:50):
go from one forty seven really one thirty five to
one sixty eight and put the beats on Canelo. A
want sixty eight. The idea that experienced in the weight
class matter anymore. I'm kind of done with that too.
Experience in general, throw out the window, dude, because at
this level, shit don't matter.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
I'm convinced you both can punch, You're both warriors in
the ring. It's just the kind of fight that you
believe ends in a knockout.
Speaker 7 (24:12):
I just think it's gonna be a great fight. I
think it's gonna be fun. And he's just one of them.
Speaker 5 (24:18):
I should be. Don't expect it to be like a
good one.
Speaker 7 (24:20):
It's gonna be a good one because this guy, he'll
punish you if you ain't on your more than a
Rollies would, more than you know, some other people would,
because he's very consistent.
Speaker 5 (24:32):
So he's not gonna love.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
By the way, how Ryan still calls Roly Rollies like
it's a like the Heelies the shoes used to buy
just roll away with, not Roly because that's a nickname
for Rolando, but it's roli'es. Rolies will punish you. Healies
would too. I bust in my ass on those things and.
Speaker 5 (24:47):
Be like hesitant. You gotta be on it, so thank
god I am.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
Oh my god.
Speaker 6 (24:53):
But yeah, so you're not picking a knockout. You're just
saying that.
Speaker 5 (24:55):
I'm just saying it's gonna be a nice fight. However,
be you know me that.
Speaker 7 (25:00):
I mean, however, the finale you want to go, but
we'll see, Mario, how.
Speaker 6 (25:04):
Do you see this fight plan out?
Speaker 3 (25:05):
Definitely want of those fights. You know you don't want
to get up, use the issue. You don't want to
get up, get some some drinks or anything. I said,
anything can happen at any time. You know. I know Ryan,
I know, like I said, he's explosive, he's dangerous, and
uh you know, I know. I'm the you know, the
sants of a fighter, right like one punch with us,
can you can you can change the whole fight.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
February twenty first, Ryan Garcia Mario Barrios WBC welterweight title.
Speaker 1 (25:30):
On one imagine like Mario is like I'm knocking his
bitch as Ryan gets up. What we actually get something?
This is pretty a little handshake, very good.
Speaker 6 (25:39):
Appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
A little tame man, little tame oh dash up right
there for Chris at the end out yeah man, uh okay,
make sure you guys buy that on his own. And
by the way, I don't know if I'm supposed to
announce this year. We have a call literally tomorrow, but
let's just say it this way. Your boy might be
headed out to Vegas on the twenty first for a
little collab that I think you guys have seen just
actually you saw it pretty recently on the East coast.
(26:03):
But I don't know yet, so I don't want to
I don't want to confirm anything. I don't want to
start to build yet if it ain't true. But I
think it is, so stay tuned anyway, What did you
guys make of this? Face off? Pretty respectful, I'll be honest.
Ryan a bit toned down from the Devin Haney fight,
but a bit more juice no pun intended than he
had in the Roly fight. I think there's a rejuvenation
there for Ryan. I think there's something there that is
(26:24):
clicked in his head to go. Yeah, all the social
media stuff aside, I've got to really win this one.
This one is the biggest moment of his career in
terms of his legacy. Maybe not in terms of the
eyeballs because the Devin Hanty fight was crazy, but to
get back to a Devin Haney rematch, to get to
a Shaquor Stevenson fight, to get to a Connor Ben fight,
you gotta get through this one. And for Mario Barrios,
(26:46):
he's had, like the resume is phenomenal. Only problem is
he doesn't win a lot of the biggest fights of
his career. Right. He loses Jervonte, lose to Keith Thurman
draw with a Ole Ramo's draw with Manny Pacio. Barrios
needs that signature win in his career. He has the
jugus win. That's a big one. But Ryan Garcia would
take him over the hump. And again you could say
that he and him being the champion unifications are out there.
(27:09):
Rolye Romero is there again. Devin Hainey at one forty seven,
you have potentially a Connor bin fight for the WBC belt.
He can continue to put himself in position for massive,
massive fights. But what do you guys think had the
edge in his face to face? Who has the edge
on fight? And I I don't have those answers, but
we're coming up to the fight soon, so I guess
we'll find out, all right. So we are back on
(27:29):
the way concept presented by The Ring magazine, and today
we got an update a Jake Paul fight potentially going
down later this year around the September time frame, which
is interesting because we have a lot of interesting news
around the September time frame in boxing. There's going to
be a Canelo Alvarez returned to the ring, potentially a
Jake Paul returned to the ring, are we starting to
(27:49):
make the connection here? Could we actually be finally getting
the Jake Paul manifestation of the Canelo Alvarez fight. Canelo
we just watched in a video a couple days ago
saying he wants to fight a world champion that would
be Christian and Billy. But what's going on here? I
don't really know how to describe it, but it's definitely
worth talking about. What is going on with Jake Paul's
(28:10):
next fight. Why do I think it could be Canelo
Alvarez or could be something else? Speaking of Jake's next fight,
He's gonna have to get back into shape right now.
He's traveling the world. He just saw his girlfriend win
a gold medal at the Olympics. By the way, congrats
to you know, that's a pretty awesome accomplishment. But he's
gonna have to get back into shape. He's gonna have
to reformulate his titanic jaw and protect it at all cost.
(28:32):
And one way I know to protect your body after
getting meeting up as bad as Jake did, or trying
to get back into shape, it's as easy as using
verse form. That is right, Guy's first form is the
best supplementation company, I would say on the planet, but
I know for sure in the United States, and they
helped me on a daily basis as I try to
make my way back into my own bittness journey. Here
(28:53):
in twenty twenty six, I'm down about three to four pounds,
I would say at the moment, and that is because
of a couple of different things. Number One, it's that
formula one there. It is way I sell it. Protein.
This is what I use after every one of my
workouts to ensure that I'm not super sore the next day,
that i can get back on the horse and continue
to work out. Because you boys thirty three, I'm the
double threes out of here. It's getting more difficult each
(29:15):
year to keep in shape and to keep my body
from getting sore. Another thing I try to use now
because my joints feel like they're older than I am.
That's right, I feel like I'm older than the unk
that you guys already know that I am. So I
use first forms collagen. This is I think some of
the best stuff. It's not only chocolate flavored, but it
helps keep my joints moving more smoothly. It helps me
continue to feel and be my most healthy self. And
(29:38):
if you guys want to get started with first Form,
all you have to do is click the link into description,
use code weight, And what we're gonna do is, for
whatever you buy at first Form, you're gonna get a
five pack of free protein sticks scent your way along
with your order. Once again, code wage, you get five
free protein sticks with your order. And I'm so confident
(29:59):
in these h SF certified products, meaning they are tested
and approved for your use. And if you want to
try these products for thirty days, let's say you don't
for whatever reason, want to continue using, you can send
these products back and get one ten percent of your refund.
That's how confident I am. You're gonna love this, So
once again, use code weight in the description. Thank it
a First Form for keeping me healthy and for sponsoring
(30:20):
this video. And now let's get back to the breakdown.
Speaker 5 (30:25):
All right.
Speaker 1 (30:25):
So, like I said, Jake Paul coming back in September,
very interesting fight, very interesting rumors going around. Niki Sabadarian
set down with IFL TV and he had some thoughts
of his own for what Jake Paul's return looks like.
Let's take a.
Speaker 8 (30:37):
Look these names. You're mentioning the terns call for Canelo,
et cetera. Is this the kind of line of fighters
that's going to be fighting or does he revert back
to fight as he was fighting previously.
Speaker 4 (30:49):
I would say.
Speaker 9 (30:51):
He definitely wants to fight Canelo at some point.
Speaker 1 (30:54):
Right now, Again, Jake's gonna be out for the majority
of the first and second parts of this year. For
putting this year into quarters, He's gonna take the first
two quarters off. He's gonna sub in after halftime. Right
the third quarter is when Jake's coming back because he
needs to. He just got his jaw realigned. And I'm
not talking chyro practically by Anthony Joshua. This means recovery.
(31:15):
This means making sure that everything actually works the way
it's supposed to. And like I said, right now, he
doesn't look like the guy's in training. He's out in
at Dalya, at Daliano watching his girlfriend or I guess
fiance now do her thing. And however long they're gonna
take off after she has her Olympics, Uh, it's gonna
be a while. So Canello coming off of the elbow
(31:36):
surgery in his fight with Terrence Crawford, that's gonna be
a while. He's already declared it's gonna be September, and
again he keeps saying world champions, and I kind of
agree with him. I think Canelo, with his riad season deal,
has I think two more fights, maybe one, maybe three,
I don't know at this point, but if he has
two more fights with the Ring magazine and then potentially
(31:56):
Canelo being what thirty six thirty seven, at that point,
I think you still are gonna have to wait a
while for the Jake Paul fight. I know the dates
line up together, but I just don't think with Canelo
being the I mean, he just lost his belts, it's
not like he's completely washed or whatever. He still wants
to fight for world titles. There are other guys at
won sixty eight he can fight. I still think, yeah,
Canelo and Jake would probably be the biggest fight in boxing. Crazy.
(32:19):
I know, maybe Tyson Fury Anthony Joshua, but I still
don't see that fight happening just yet. So when a
Keys says Jake wants to fight Canelo, it's still keeping
that fight in everyone's mind, but realizing that that's probably
not next.
Speaker 9 (32:30):
He definitely wants to fight Tommy Fury, because I think
that's a good level set for everyone to see how
far he's come.
Speaker 4 (32:36):
That first fight was a close fight.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
It was a split decision, not really first off. Yes, yes,
forty times. Yes, we need to see the Jake and
Tommy rematch because that fight, more than the Anthony Joshua fight,
more than any of the other fights that Jake has
done post Tommy Fury is going to give us an
answer as to what Jake Paul really has left, right,
(32:59):
and I don't know how many fights he has left.
Tommy Fury canello if that ever happens. He says he
wants to win a world title. I don't see that happening,
but like there's not I don't think there's gonna be
very many left for Jake. Two maybe three is my
opinion on the matter. I think that by twenty twenty
eight he's done. But with that being said, definitely need
the Tommy Fury remat We do because Tommy was the
guy that out boxed him like AJ. Yes, out boxed him,
(33:21):
but he also massive heavyweight former you know, unified heavyweight
champion of the world like we know, but that wasn't
the same as going okay, skill for skill level for level,
who can we put him there with Jake that's around
that same level, that has the big name that can
test him. Tommy not only tested him, but beating And
Whennikisa says it was a close fight, it was not
a close fight. I mean, we can go back and
(33:42):
look at the copy box of this, and I know
that compy box is not the end all be all
for everything, but it wasn't necessarily a very close fight
after about the fourth round. Like after about the fourth round,
it kind of started to go Tommy Fury's way. And
it's strictly because of his output, right Tommy, He's output
made this fight a difficult one for Jake. Now, again,
(34:04):
when we look at total punches landed, Tommy outthrows and
outland But when we also look at percentage wise, Tommy
does a good job outside of a couple of rounds
of landing at a higher percentage rate as well. And
again it starts usually in the fourth round and goes
crazy from there. So I don't know. I think looking
at the fight back, I didn't think that Jake will
like suck that he was complete ass I thought that
(34:26):
like he was outboxed by a more experience, better game plan,
I'll be honest, and the biggest hole in Jake's game
was found. He does not do well with volume punchers,
and a guy with a decent jab doesn't mean that
Tommy was there cracking him with big shots and hurting him.
Though Jake's a durable dude. We'll see after the jaw
surgery how durable he is, but for the most part,
(34:46):
he's a durable guy. Tommy out boxed it, so the fight,
in my opinion, wasn't close. I had it I think
six rounds to two, maybe maybe five three if you're
being generous, and Jake did get the knockdown, and maybe
it was the sixth round, so that could play into it,
but I don't see. I didn't see it being a
very close fight. But what I am excited about for
the rematch is that Jake has done far more to
get better from that time to now. Jake has had
(35:08):
now Again, you can say, okay, opponent level may not
be the greatest whatever, but Jake has had one, two, three, four, five, six,
seven fights since the Tommy Fury lost to Tommy Fury's
two right. Tommy has had two fights in the same
amount of time Jake has had seven fights. Now again,
you may say, well, Jake's opponents weren't great or x
(35:29):
y Z sure, Okay, they maybe weren't the level of
Tommy Fury, or they were Mike Tyson when he's in
his fifties, or aj obviously way past Tommy's level. That
fight wasn't. We all knew kind of what was gonna
happen there. Jake was gonna get knocked out. But it's
not the fights themselves that I look at and say, hmm,
this makes me a little bit more curious for the rematch,
and it makes me think Jake has a lot better shot.
(35:51):
It's the fact that he went through seven different training camps,
that he continued to train, that he continued to spar
that he continued to stay in the game. Now again,
Jos gonna be a big issue for sure. I don't
know if he's gonna recover like a Jiopataiah did. When
jiob Dyah broke his shit and came back, it seemed
like even stronger titanium jawing all. But I am interested
(36:12):
in this remap because it needs to happen for Jake
to have the same credibility to get that next big
fight with a Canelo or with whoever else. He needs
a big win. He hasn't had a big win, eye
opening win, you know. Oh, you know, Okay, Jake is
getting better type of win in a while. He absolutely
needs this.
Speaker 9 (36:29):
And I think now if they were to get in
the ring, and I think there'd be a lot of
interest in that fight. Yeah, you'd see the levels of
Jake Paul and how he's developed as a boxer. Honestly,
I haven't fully sat down with him post recovery because
now he's truly back in the gym. I will be
seeing him in Milan on Sunday. His fiance is racing
in the Olympics trying to win gold on Monday, and
(36:51):
we'll have a proper kind of discussion around what twenty
twenty six looks like. But he's adamant he wants to
come back in twenty twenty six.
Speaker 8 (36:58):
Tommy Fury much happily share.
Speaker 4 (37:01):
That's my goal. That's what I'd like to see it.
Speaker 9 (37:03):
But it takes the fighters, right, It takes Jake wanting
to do it and Tommy wanting to do it, and
Tommy being realistic on what the opportunity is I can
go ahead and ask for ten, fifteen, twenty million dollars
all the time, But that to me says you really.
Speaker 4 (37:15):
Don't want to fight because we don't have that kind
of opportunity.
Speaker 1 (37:19):
I mean, to be fair to the Keisa, that's a
pretty pragmatic response. I know a lot of people get
on the Keisa's case, but I think that's a really
pragmatic and straightforward response, Like, yeah, Tommy is delusional with
the money. He thinks he deserves to fight a Jake rematch. Yes,
he won the first fight, but dude, the guy can't
sell if he had a boat and a breeze in
the middle of the ocean, Like he just can't, you
know what I mean. So I don't know if Tommy's
(37:41):
ever going to be realistic about it. It's the only
fight that Tommy's going to make any sort of insane
money for, and sure it's a risk, but it's more
of a risk I would say for Jake, because if
Jake loses that one, what else do you do with him?
That's two losses to Tommy Fury. Tommy loses this when
you run the trilogy, you know what I'm saying, Like,
you build in a third fight already and another opportunity
to make mone So yeah, that's the biggest hurdle. Obviously,
(38:02):
when you do this, stuff is going all right, well,
can Tommy even do it? Because you know, as we've
talked about with Tyson Fury, Tommy Fury's banned from the
United States, the connection with the you know, the Irish
mob or whatever the whole Fury family apparently is. But
here's another interesting thing. Most Valuable Promotions has been doing
a lot of work to get back into the United Kingdom,
(38:24):
including this MVP show coming up on April fifth on
a Sunday, Caroline du Wa, Terry Harper. They have a
deal with Sky Sports, although again maybe they would want
to do Netflix for a Jake and Tommy thing that
Jake's got a good thing going with Netflix. I don't
know if they're on his own still, if Jake still
has fights to do on his own, But the point
is Jake does have I don't know if you call
(38:44):
it a fan base, but definitely a lot of intrigue
from people that probably want to come out and boo
him in the UK. Tommy, obviously, if you do it
in Manchester is going to have people come out for him,
and then there was this second interview. It was kind
of a corral style interview that Nikisa did while he
has been I assume this is also in the UK,
or maybe it's it's in Italy. I'm not sure, but
(39:05):
he mentions a couple other opponents for Jake Paul here in,
one of which I think is a little crazy. His
potential opponents being a Kisa for Jake in the UK.
Speaker 10 (39:12):
You mentioned a few Age Rangers, which names spring to
him on.
Speaker 9 (39:15):
Conserva Obviously the most obvious is Tommy Fiery, Right, that's
a fight that that should be made if Tommy is
reasonable in terms.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
Of that fucking phase to face photo what.
Speaker 4 (39:24):
The terms are of the fight. But I think vdal
Riley's an interesting fight, sir.
Speaker 1 (39:29):
You know, I think the Kisa, like I talked about,
he's a pragmatic guy, right, it's a pragmatic answer when
he was talking about what Tommy needs to be realistic with.
When you start bringing up vodal Riley's name, what is
interesting about that fight? That fight is not what Jake
needs right now. Jake needs everything but vodal Riley. He
needs to run far away from Vodal Riley. I'm not
saying that Vodal's a world champion right now, but I
(39:50):
believe he has the ability to become one, and I
think he's far, far too good right now. Or Jake Paul,
that would be a bad idea in my opinion. That
would be one of the worst ideas for Jake is
fighting that Al Riley, not even you know, for the
risk of knockout, just the risk of being outclassed. Tommy Fury,
I'll box you in that first fight. Jake's gotten better
since then. We'll see if they do the rematch, how
(40:12):
much better. But if Tommy did that to you and
Anthony Joshuall walk you down, what do you think that
Al Riley's gonna do to you? You know what I mean? Again,
I know that Jake's gotten better, but he hasn't gotten
that much better, at least not from what I see.
That's a terrible matchup. That's not an interesting fight. Again,
that's a bag from my boy Vidal. But I don't know, man,
That's not the one to me.
Speaker 11 (40:31):
I think Darren Till is an interesting fighter.
Speaker 1 (40:33):
That is an interesting fight. Yes, Darren til Tommy Fury
two very interesting.
Speaker 11 (40:38):
I think.
Speaker 9 (40:39):
Yeah, I think those three names come to mind as
interesting fights.
Speaker 1 (40:42):
Again you're talking about interesting in terms of box office,
or Jake's selling with another fighter, then sure that I
will sell with Jake. Tommy will absolutely sell a Jake,
and so well Darren Till. I think in numbers of
like you should do the fight versus not do it,
it should be Tommy Fury one, Darren Til two, right three,
because you might lose to Tommy. You might lose to
(41:03):
Darren Till, and that's an MMA guy, So the credibility
kind of goes down. And then you have Vanal Riley,
who has a lot of boxing credibility, but if you
lose to him, there is nowhere else to go, right,
So I would say, stay far away from Vadal, try
to get Tommy Fury if you can, and if not,
Darren Hill's right there. That's what I think. I understand.
Jake's been moving around a lot of different weights and
all that, and this would be his first time back
(41:24):
at Cruiser in a while. But at some point you
got to you gotta get that one back. At some
point you have to address those demons, because again, you
still need to sell to people why Jake Paul is
in boxing, Why people actually want to watch him box
outside of just the oh we want to see him
get his ass kicked, because that's that works. That works
in the UK. But you need to have a competitive
(41:45):
look at things. The Gervante Davis Jake thing, you know,
it was it was kind of interesting, but it was
an exhibition. It was clearly a money grab for both guys.
The Anthony Joshua fight, on the other hand, was like,
oh shit, all the people that want to see Jake
get destroyed or or here's your chance. You didn't think
it was going to be remotely competitive, and it really was.
This one is this is the one. It's always been
the one after the first fight to come back to.
(42:05):
So I hope the keys is right. Whatever they do
to get that one done in September, that's the one
I want to see it. Could it be darre un
til Yeah, I'd sit down for that one with my
popcorn in hand as well, right, I would love that fight.
But for the most part, if you're gonna have revitalization,
a renewed Jake Paul, a reason for people to watch
him again and get a little bit of respect back,
(42:27):
it's got to be against the guy that gave you
your first l in the first place. I think it's
got to be against Tommy Fierry. What do you guys
think about what's being said about the timeline of things
going on here for the return of Jake. Is it
gonna be Tommy Fury? Are they gonna come to the table.
Is Big John gonna put his ego aside and understand
that Tommy is not worth ten million dollars to walk
into a boxing ring. I'm sorry, it's just not true
(42:49):
ten million dollars. Get over yourself, I hope so, But
I don't have those answers. So let's keep watching this
thing as it plays out, and then an only van
around that September time frame, announcements will be made. Who
will Jake Paul fight in twenty twenty six? We'll have
those answers, but I guess we'll find out, all right.
So we are back on the way costs represented by
the Ring magazine and today, folks, I think a lot
(43:09):
of people owe a big fat apology to mister Tom
Aspinall that's right. The current UFC Heavyweight Champion of the
World has spent the last couple of months now nursing,
and not only one but two eye injuries. That's right.
The Captain insant O Special has hit tom aspinall harder
and syrill Gon ever could have in their fight, at
(43:29):
least legally speaking, because tom Aspinall Since the Cyrilla Gon fight,
which very much hyped up, I think a lot of
people were excited for just to fall flatter than the
pancakes I got for Ass Cheeks do too. The ipokes
I think still accidentally from cyril Gon, but regardless of intent,
they stopped that fight and we never got the high
(43:49):
octane matchup we wanted, and the heavyweight division as a
whole has been distraught since. I mean, we have Waldo
Cortez a Costa, He's awesome, like to see him fight.
We have who is doing his best Hoki impersonation of
Randy Savage and Hulk Cogan while also beating ass and
the octagon. John Jones apparently has arthritis throughout all of
(44:12):
his hip and he's probably not gonna be fighting anytime soon.
If he is, it's not gonna be against tom Asmenal
because he's injured. Maybe we have Alex Pereira coming up.
The White House card is about to be announced apparently
in the UFC, but it's chaos. And everyone thought that
this chaos was spurned out of Tom Aspinall faking an
eye injury, faking an eye injury, looking for sympathy, looking
for a way out of a fight. And I'm here
(44:32):
to tell you today, folks, you got it flat wrong,
as Tom Aspinall has undergone double eye surgery and we'll
get into the extent of what I think that eye
surgery is. But regardless, you guys called this man a faker,
and I say, you guys, the people that actually did it,
if you were on the innocent side, like your boy here,
then you can proclaim victory, because of course fighters do
not for the most part, fake injuries. The same talking
(44:54):
point came out when Henry Shudo had two knuckles deep
in his eyes from song You Dong, He got you
Dong all over his face and people called Henry Sahudo
a quitter, And that wasn't true then and it's not
true now with Tom Aspinall, and because of his eye injuries,
we are in a state of perpetual stagnation at the
heavyweight division right before one of the biggest cards in
(45:16):
the UFC's history at the White House, so what's gonna happen?
What is going on with Tom Aspinall? Is he truly
injured or was he faking this whole time? Let's get
to it, the breakdown. Let's go all right, So shouts
a happy punch for putting these cool graphics together. It
says Tom Aspinall underwent both I surgery today, so double
eye surgery. This is from a surgeon I assume in
(45:39):
the UK. We're gonna get to that Instagram in just
a second. But it's a Opti Grock. Opti Grock, not
the one on Twitter after his highly publicized ipoke injury.
Opti Grass Expert Team is proud to have supported MMA
fighter and UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspenal over the recent months.
We've been working closely with him on his recovery following
his operation on both we continue the journey to get
(46:02):
Tom's vision back to fighting fitness. Now again. You can
kind of see here, but this mother has a scalpel
in his eye. Dude, Oh, it's so hard to look at.
It's like me on a Friday night after a couple
of years. But it's brutal and I don't want to
hear anybody talking about severity of the operation and him
dragging this out, because even if this wasn't like an
open eye surgery, and some people are saying, oh it's lasick,
(46:24):
he got Lasik done. And if the man couldn't see
after two fingers went into his eyes, he didn't do
the Mowen curly three stooges to save himself. If he
couldn't do that and he needed to correct his vision somehow,
whether that's lasick, whether that's an injection, who knows. My
question to you all is what does it matter the
severity of the surgery he has. All that matters is
(46:45):
the severity of the operation, is the fact that he
had to be operated on, the severity of his injury
had to be treated. Now, this is the website for
the place that tom Asminholl's gone. At least from what
I can see, they do cataract surgery, laser eye surgery,
lends replaces, all types that Lasik is in there as well,
so they have they do all of it across the board.
They do it all right. This is making me squeamish
(47:07):
to look at still, because I am very squeamish about
stuff in my eyes. But the MMA community was all
about the fact that Tom Aspinall was the next greatest
heavyweight of all time until this fight happened, and then
everybody turned and said he was faking it. Now again,
us level headed people knew the entire time that Tom
was not faking this eye injury, and also understood that
there was some nuance to what happened with sirril Gun,
(47:29):
in my opinion, didn't do it on purpose. But again,
intentionality doesn't matter when you injure somebody that bad Tom
was right for not fighting. I hear people saying, well,
Patty fought through ipokes. Patty fought through Yeah, Patty got
fed up by Justin Gagee to the point where I
don't know if his chin will ever be the same.
I am never gonna sit here in this chair with
my sweaty ass and tell you guys it's the right
decision for fighters to fight through an illegal ipoke, because
(47:53):
number one, if your vision is compromised in an MMA fight,
I don't care how tough you are, I don't care
how well trained you are, I don't care what great
shape you are. If you legitimately can't see, just real quick,
you and me in the camera here comment section close
your eyes and just try to operate for the next
thirty seconds and see how you do, just just in
your daily life. Right now, I don't even know where
(48:14):
my left hand is. And that's not some kind of
weird induindo. I'm genuinely I have no idea. Can you
imagine for a second not being able to see that
same half of your vision being gone, or maybe you're
doing one of these numbers and you're trying to squint
through it and then trying to fight someone. It just
doesn't work. So for the people that have either never
been in a fight, never been poked in the eye,
or just never come out of their house and their
(48:37):
room smells like ten cans of bounce that ass. Try
to put yourself in tom shoes for a second. He
absolutely did not fake this, and it's unfortunate what's happened
to him. His career is in jeopardy. Writing again, you're saying,
oh wait, you're milking it. Rosanamin Unis had a torn
retina and she's out for this much time, And this
person and this everybody is their specific case, right, everybody
(48:57):
has their own case. But Tom Aspinall was absolutely right.
We're not continuing in that fight. He was not faking.
Unless you are the idea that Tom is doing all
this for sympathy, that he's going and getting his eyes
either operated on surgically or having injections into his eyeball
for sympathy, because that's that's how far he'll take the grift, Right,
That's that's what he's doing. I'm sure he did this
(49:18):
for sympathy as well. Right, it is the picture of
Tom his eyes being read. He probably just you know,
put some some ketchup in there, some red food coloring,
all for sympathy. Right. No, this is what his eyes
look like a day after whatever surgery he had. Now, again,
I'm not an eye surgeon. I have no idea what
they did to Tom's eyes. I don't know how much
it's gonna help. I don't even know if Tom knows
(49:40):
how much it's gonna help. Because it's been months of
this surgeon and Tom trying to work toward getting his
eyesight better. Maybe they're doing some lasik to try to
you know, regain whatever he lost in the fight. Maybe
there's some you know, swelling and things like that that
they need to take care of. Who knows, Maybe there's
such a traumatic abrasion to his CORNEA dude the other
I was sitting on the couch watching a true crime
(50:02):
doc scratch my eye the wrong way and it felt
like I had never I never get my eyesight back.
It was scratching every time I blinked my eye, and
of course I'm a hypochondriac, freaked out, went to the doctor.
I was fine, but Tom aspitall is a different test
case here. This is not me sitting at home. This
was a dude that had his eyes raked, got brown
syndrome from Cyril Gone. I forgot it was called brown syndrome.
(50:25):
Creal gone, brown syndrome all over Tom. Now again it's
just I'm laughing because of just the comedy bit of that.
But this is not a laughing matter. This is the
heavyweight champion of the world in twenty twenty six. We
really really need the heavyweight division to get going, like
we have to get the heavyweight division off its ask,
(50:45):
and that probably means that Waldo Cortez a Costa and
Cyril Gon or somebody else is gonna have to step
in and take an interim title fight in the meantime
because Tom's probably not going to be back by the
White House card, which means he's not going to be
back by mid ye, and that means the heavyweight championship
hasn't been defended since the sirell Gon fight a couple
months ago. We're talking six seven, eight months, and they're
(51:07):
just gonna have to keep it moving. When Tom comes back,
he can fight to unify again. But it's just we
have to do something. As much as I feel bad
for Tom, and again, a lot of people fans of
MMA that have no idea what it's like to fight,
they need to apologize to Tom. For sure, he deserves
that apology. They're not gonna apologize, but the heavyweight division
still has to move on, and with Johnson Almeida losing
(51:28):
the other night, you don't have a ton of options
at heavyweight right now other than the same old names.
And that's not a you know, it kinda is a
bad thing. You have Folkov, you have Paplovich, you have
Curtis Blade, you have a Costa Court or a Court
as a Costa. I just don't, you know, we don't
see a lot of movement here because there's not really
many new names. You know, if it was to me,
(51:50):
I would be you know, if I'm not Dana White,
because Aya White apparently doesn't have anything to do with
the matchmaking anymore, even though he clearly does. If I'm
Sean Shelby, if I'm Hunter Campbell, if I'm making I'm
calling you know, John Jones right now, Alex Pereira again,
Waldo Cortez Acosta probably needs one more fight, but still
sorel Gon trying to set something up to get this
(52:13):
division to move forward. And I'm also I'm also calling
Rico Verhouven. I don't know why he hasn't come over
to the UFC. I would love to see Rico at
the heavyweight division. I'm also calling. I know you guys
say it's way too early, but I'm sorry. He's got
champion written all over him. I'm calling Gable Steveson. I'm calling.
I'm sorry. He looks like a freak and i know
(52:34):
he's not fighting the best competition in the world, but
he's two and zero in MMA. He's throwing dudes on
their head, He's knocking them out with left hooks, taking
them down and then destroying them. He looks like a
bad mother, and the heavyweight division in the UFC badly
needs potential. Stars. I'm just saying it. I'd call him, dude,
I'd call him here he is. Look, I just want
(52:54):
you guys to see what this mother looks like. You're
telling me this wouldn't just light a fire under the
UFC heavyweight division right now.
Speaker 11 (53:01):
Nice left hand landing on.
Speaker 1 (53:05):
What high out sterical service, freaking leaps on the cage
like it's nothing, rows the shoe we out there, left
hook takedown, he's already dead. You can stop it. Bang
one more for good measure. I'm just saying, dude, at
a certain point we have to move on again. Tom
Asmenal'll still the champ when he comes back and he's
(53:25):
ready to get back in there. If again, we don't know,
this is the not just the first procedure. This is
multiple procedures that tom Aspenall has gone through over the
last couple of months with this team, and we don't
know how much longer this is gonna take. If you
don't know how much how serious this really is, because
we are hearing procedure operations, you know, could it be surgery,
(53:45):
Could it be La sick, could it be injections? We
truly don't know. What we do know is without time
at the heavyweight championship spot. The division needs to move.
We have massive events coming up with UFC in paramount,
and until Tom gets back, we need heavyweight eight stars
so badly, so so badly. And I also saw this day.
You know, I don't know if I was going to
do a separate video on it or not. Probably wasn't
(54:07):
somebody as we'll talk about it here. I also saw
the potential for Islam Makachev and Ilia tel Toro, a
fight that we've all wanted to see happen at lightweight,
a fight that probably won't happen at lightweight. Now we
do have Iliatoporia's you know, lawsuit settlement with his former wife.
That's all squared away. Now Ilia is looking to come
back and fight at lightweight. But now Islam says he
(54:28):
would fight Ilia. I have a feeling that's a lot
of smoking mirrors, because Islam's now at one hundred and
seventy pounds, and I assume he'd want Ilia to come
up to one seventy. Let's take a look anyway, No.
Speaker 12 (54:39):
In my division, a lot like contenders who deserve that fight.
Just you sually have to give me new target.
Speaker 6 (54:47):
That's it.
Speaker 5 (54:47):
I just waiting.
Speaker 3 (54:49):
There has been a lot of talk about the potential
fight between you and Ilia Topuria.
Speaker 5 (54:53):
That's the patient.
Speaker 12 (54:54):
Yeah, I like this idea if you see one, I
know what I am MS fund and my fans want
this fight.
Speaker 5 (55:02):
I'm ready. What about fighting White House in Washington?
Speaker 11 (55:06):
Do thinking about it?
Speaker 5 (55:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 12 (55:08):
Also's one of the arena where I'm maybe I'm gonna
fight next and we have the Ramadan months when I'm
not gonna training one month and after that I will
slowly beginning my training camp and I will be ready
a White House or as on other dates, I will
be ready.
Speaker 1 (55:28):
So Robinon apparently happens from February twentieth or no, sorry,
February seventeenth to March nineteenth, So that would make sense. Right,
this is about a week from today Rabinin is going
to start, so that would that would make some level
of sense. You you start training camp after Ramadan from
(55:48):
March all the way up till you know, the end
part of June, you potentially could have a White House
fight on your hands, and one that I think a
lot of people would watch, obviously maybe the biggest fight
in the sport. Depending it's either that or John Jones
Alex Pereira because Tom's on the shelf. I just don't
know how realistic it is because at one hundred and
seventy pounds, I don't think Ilia is going up at
one fifty five. That means Islam's gonna have to cut
(56:10):
all that weight, which it seems like now that he's
at one seventy it's gonna be even harder to cut
back down to his original one fifty five. Once you
make that commitment to go up and weight, you know,
I've talked to guys that do it, and it's like
trying to then reverse cycle back, not reverse cycle like
you're on stuff, but like reverse your body cycle back
to one fifty five. It's almost, I want to say, impossible,
but it's tough. It's tough to do. To go up
(56:32):
and then come back down and move weights like that
really really tough to do, especially after you get established there.
So yeah, I don't know. I don't think that we're
going to get that fight, at least not anytime soon.
Maybe if Ilia has one or two more fights at
one fifty five, because listen, I like Illy at one
fifty five. I think it's his perfect class for him.
I think going up to seventy is just too big
a move, to be honest with you, And we'll see
(56:53):
about the Gateschee fight. You know, Gaatechie's a tough dude.
Ilia cracks, but Gaatechee also cracks and Ilia gets hit.
I do think that Illy is gonna steamroll him, but
maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm wrong. I think it should
be Ilia and Arman. That's the fight. That's that's another
massive fight in the way that Arman is self promoted
over the last month and a half to two months.
(57:13):
That fight is just as interesting to me because we've
seen Armen in Islam at one fifty five and obviously
it didn't go Armand's way. But Ilia is not Islam
in that offensive wrestling. We know that Ilia can wrestle,
we know that his grappling is very good, but we
also know that he's not Islam when it comes to
that top pressure, that top position, that top control in
Islam is in Ilia when it comes to the stand
(57:34):
up game and his his actual boxing. Again, for this
to take place, multiple things need to happen, so I
truly don't know what we're doing. And again, this video
will come out as of probably the day that either
they get done with the matchmaking for the UFC White
House or it's a Now I don't know if they're
gonna announce it this early, but they're probably gonna be
done making the fights they want to target at least
(57:54):
so I may have an update video for you guys,
but as of right now, there's no fights made for
the White House. It was me doing the matchmaking. I'd
want either John Jones Alex Peyra in that main event,
or Connor McGregor somebody or Hey Mosvital because it seems
like Michael Chandler's not gonna get the NOD. But knowing
the UFC and that they really want to show that
they need nobody, they will put somebody in that main
(58:16):
event that isn't the massive star that potentially they can
use to build that platform off of. Could it be
Eliot's Aporia Justin Gaechee at the main event at the
White House. Potentially I could see that happening as well,
to try to push Ilia into that new stardom or Justin,
even though I think it'd probably be ilias by a landslide,
but I'm not sure. I have no idea. But what
I do know is all you MMA fans that said
(58:39):
Tom Aspinall was a pussy, that called him a fake champ,
that said he was faking it, that said he quit,
you all owe the man an apology, because in no way,
shape or form does anyone based in reality think that
Tom Aspinall went and had double eye surgery, apparently multiple
procedures on both of his eyes, to then look like
this all for clout, all for the grift. It's not
how it works, folks. It's a you know, politics and
(59:02):
the Epstein files and people watching and trying to make
money off. No, bro, this is not what we call grifting.
This is what we call an athlete trying desperately to
save his two biggest weapons in the sport, in any sport,
his eyes. And next time people should use theirs and
understand objective reality is that if you can't have two
eyes while you're fighting, then you are unbelievably compromised. Tom
(59:24):
did the right thing. Everybody that's been poked in the
eye that tries to fight through it loses, And you
understand now why anyway, what do you guys think did
Tom fake this whole thing?
Speaker 4 (59:34):
Am? I?
Speaker 1 (59:34):
Am I the wrong one? Here is the conspiracy theory
correct that Tom's optimologist was an actual paid actor, that
this whole thing was the grift and he faked it
all just for sympathy. I don't think so. But in
Tom's recovery, hopefully he gets back to the octagon and
then what happens next I guess we'll find out. All right,
So we're back on the way concept presented by The
(59:54):
Ring magazine once again, and today things have gotten even
worse for Tom Aspinall. We're starting to understand the severity
of his injuries, and folks, it's not looking good. It's
looking diabolically dangerous. Now it's looking like potentially Fanito on
Tom Aspinall's career. I'm not saying this hyperbolically. I don't
even mean it to be a joke. Tom Aspinall has
(01:00:15):
come out or at least through the journalism of uh
Pete Carroll or Peter Carroll excuse me over at Uncrowned,
and he has said a list of things that we're
gonna get into that are going on with his eyes
that not only may prevent him from ever fighting again,
but it might affect his everyday life. Things have gone
from bad to worse for Tom Aspinall, which means things
(01:00:35):
have gone from bad to worse in the UFC heavyweight division.
And I don't know what's gonna happen next, but this,
this is becoming a major major It was already a
major story, but it's becoming a company changing story at
the UFC. Tom Aspinall's career may effectively be over or
I mean the breakdown. Let's go all right, So, like
I said, there's a couple of different sources here, but
(01:00:56):
let's let's let's start with happy fun. They showed me
a lot of love over there, I'm gonna show that love.
Tom Aspinall's career is in question, and his coach revealed
he's struggling to even hit pads. Folks. We are four
months out of his last fight, and usually this wouldn't
be a big deal if someone just wasn't hitting pads,
or if someone had just taken a break from training
(01:01:16):
to spend time with their family, kids, whatever, But this
is the inability to do so because both of his
eyes got gouged. They got knuckled deep brown syndrome finger dude,
and it's not getting easier for Tom Aspinall to see
four months after the fact, now this could easily clear up,
just with time and proper care. But right now he's
(01:01:37):
not only not able to hit mits, but quote his
balance is completely different. It's not normal, But this is
the situation he's in. He cannot see right. It's a
big problem. So not only can he not hit mits,
he apparently can't even balance. And this may be embellished
a little bit, but the point is there are things
that are clearly lingering from the ipoke that aren't going away,
(01:01:57):
at least not yet. You know, there's gonna be people
talking about Mike bisbeing and other people that have suffered
detached retinas and things like that, and I understand those
are Michael Bisman should have never fought when he had
one eye. That's gangster shit. I told you guys to
do that in the last video. Just cover your eye
up and try to do anything and it's gonna be difficult.
So Mike bisming is is just a gangster of all gangsters.
(01:02:18):
But when we had people calling Tom Aspinalla quitter, when
we had people saying that this was nothing more than
a champion not wanting to lose his belt, so he
just dipped out of the fight and used the ipokes
as an excuse. I told you guys you were crazy.
Then I'm saying it again now. That is one of
the most online MMA fan quote expert takes I've ever
seen from people that have never fought anyone, from people
(01:02:40):
that have never experienced a fight, and from people that
quite frankly, have no idea what it means to be
in any physical altercation. I'm sorry, most MMA fans have
never and will never. But it gets worse if you
can believe so, which is why the MMA experts online
may need to rethink what they understand about ipokes and
how they can affect not only a career, but your
(01:03:02):
life after the fact. Here is more that tom Asminoll's
dealing with in the last four months. He is at
eighteen eye exams in counting three different prescription glasses, double
eye surgery twelve, I'd no excuse me, thirty two eye
drops per day, balance lost caused by vertigo. This one
right here will come back to because this might actually
(01:03:25):
be the end of the career. Yes, the double eye
surgery for sure. The dry eyes I assume that he's
got from all the different types of stuff he's got
going on with thirty two different drops daily. But this
balance lost caused by vertigo is a big, big problem.
Blurry vision with constant blackspot definitely not good. Double vision
that makes him sick, can't even drive, unable to track
(01:03:47):
moving targets, and even misses people's hands when he tries
to shake them, struggles to use a phone or play
with his kids. What let's just go through Let's go
through these one by one right, eighteen eye exams in counting. Now,
some people on the internet are saying, look, he went
to eighteen different doctors to get his eyes looked at
so he could get one that would agree with Shut
fuck up. Eighteen eye exams does not mean that tom
(01:04:09):
asman all went to eighteen different doctors so that he
could get one to give him a diagnosis he wanted.
That means he's gone to the eye doctor so many times,
essentially four times a month plus some so he's going
once a week to the eye doctor to try to
figure out what's going on. There's been three different prescription
glasses that he has been given, which I assume means
he is now in some way his vision is compromised. Again,
(01:04:30):
people were like, oh, he just got Lasik surgery. Even
if he got lasik surch the damage to his eyes
causing him to lose vision, to have Lasik surgery to
try to improve it, which again I'm not a big
proponent of Lasik surgery. I don't think the science is
out on it yet. I'll be honest. I think the
people that do get it and have great success awesome.
But there's a lot of people that do get dry
(01:04:50):
eyes from it. Their vision improves for a tadbit, but
maybe not on the long term, and then you have
to keep getting it done, not for me, which also
might be a part of the reason why he's doing
thirty two eye drops per if he's gotten if it
is lasick that he went and got, but he got
it in both eyes, which is obvious to me, coupled
with the fact that he's had three different prescription glasses,
that Tom Asphal's having trouble with his vision, and I
(01:05:12):
wonder why that is. Couldn't because he had two fingers
in his eyeballs rolling around in there like they were
trying to pick a number for the lottery or something.
And again, if you are still on the skeptical side,
try to dispute this other stuff. How does Tom aspinall
receive balance loss caused by vertico. If nothing's going on,
you guys, ever heard of visual vertigo? I know a
lot of people know of it because of the in
(01:05:32):
ear problems that some people can get, and you know,
Huntingdon's disease can give you vertigo at certain points. Dana
White has struggle with vertigo. So has Cody Garbrant, and
he's had to have multiple different procedures and stem cell
this and doctors that Cody Garbrandt's career, you could argue,
has been shortened and less productive because of his vertigo.
He's had to fight with vertigo. But visual vertigo is
(01:05:53):
a condition where complex moving or busy visual stimuli such
as shopping aisles, scrolling screens, traffic, potential fighting, someone having
to use your hands and eyes and coordinate them together
trigger symptoms of dizziness, vertigo, unsteadiness, and nausea. It often
arises from mismatch between visual, vestibular and proprioceptive inputs, commonly
(01:06:14):
affecting individuals with underlying vestipular disorders, post concussion syndrome, or
binocular vision dysfunction. And again I ask you, would that
not sound a little bit like what tom Aspinall had
to go through and is currently apparently going through so
treatments for something like this, a stipular rehabilitation therapy specific
exercises designed to desensitize the brain to confusing visual stimuli.
(01:06:38):
The man is having to retrain his brain and eyes
so that he can shake someone's hand and his hand
lines up or where he thinks his hand is and
the other person's hand is. This is crazy. And again,
I think if you've watched Dana White is looking for
a Fighter that series where Dana White's vertigo acts up,
he has to like lay down for hours at a time.
Cody Garbrandt talks about it feeling like you're walking in
one of those like carnival spin things where you the
(01:07:00):
thing spins and you're trying to walk through it and
just keep your balance, or like a funhouse mirror museum
where you don't know where the right direction is but
you see a bunch of stuff and your vision and
depth perceptions all off. This kind of stuff. Man, you're fighting,
you're playing any kind of sport, it's going to be bad.
But when you're fighting, I don't know how you Again,
if he's able to get over all this awesome, but
(01:07:21):
this doesn't sound like something that's easy to get over.
The vertigo, the blurry vision with black spot, the double vision.
Not only do we have vertigo, but we have motion sickness.
We're seeing double Still we still can't drive. And here's
another one unable to track moving targets and even misses
people's hands when he tries to shake them. You use
your eyes in everyday life to see, to track things,
(01:07:42):
to reach out to touch. You take it for granted
until you don't have it, and then you heighten that
sensation by like a hundred times, then have your cortisol
spike and have someone trying to punch you in the face.
How's that going to go? Oh yeah? By and put
drunk gloggles on and then try to do it right. Essentially,
that's what you're asking to Aspinal to do, and if
he doesn't do you're calling him a faker. For anyone
(01:08:03):
still have any questions on whether tom Asmenal's being genuine
with this or not. The man underwent double eye surgery.
What are we talking about again? Even if it's Lasik vision,
he's trying to fix his vision with Lasik eye surgery.
Why would he need to all of a sudden fix
his vision. Why would he all of a sudden have
this list of problems and he can't figure out that
hadn't gone on before the fight. But now we have
(01:08:26):
this struggles to use his phone or play with his kids.
The phone thing, obviously that's you know whatever, it's a phone,
but the struggle to play with his own children. Do
we understand the sacrifice of this sport yet? Do we
understand the need to take this kind of stuff? Seriously,
y'all didn't listen when Henry so Hudo told you, But
now will people listen?
Speaker 4 (01:08:45):
Now?
Speaker 1 (01:08:45):
Will people understand? And I'm even talking about the UFC
listening and understand if tom Asmenaal does have to retire,
which I who knows At this point, I genuinely don't
know what's going to happen. It's four months in and
he's still having all this stuff. Maybe it goes away,
maybe it doesn't. I don't know. But if tom Asmaall
has retire, does the UFC not get the hint? But
whether it's Trevor Whitman's gloves that they just you know,
they may not be able to copyright all of a sudden,
(01:09:07):
or they go to the Pride gloves or something with
a covering over the hands. Again, you're never going to
fix the glove problem entirely, in the ipoke problem entirely,
but there are things you can do. Are they ever
gonna wake up and say, we need to fix the glove.
We need to take stricter punishments for ipokes, intentional or not.
We need to do something because just shocking it up
too well, Hey, it's the fight game. Yes, people's careers
(01:09:29):
end through legal means in the fight game, head kicks, knockouts,
broken legs, whatever. But these things are legal, and they're
just a happen, you know, a terrible tragic happening. But
when we have fouls committed that are ending people's career
apparently we'll see ending people's careers, then I think that
we need to do something about fixing it. You see
it in other sports. The NFL banned the drop tack,
(01:09:51):
the hip drop tack, because tons of guys' careers were
getting ruined by ACL injuries. Again, it's a tackle. It's
hard to do, but it is what it is. They
banned the hits upstairs on quarterbacks and anybody else. They
called it targeting because they started to see more CTE
and players killing themselves. Excuse my language, but the junior
seau thing is one of the hardest and most tragic
things to comprehend, and leaving himself the suicide notes to
(01:10:13):
be like studying my brain after too many hits to
the head. These things were legal in the NFL changed
the rules. Ipokes are already something you shouldn't be doing. Again,
it's not intentional. I get it sometimes, but what's the
UFC going to do to fix this? And why does
the UFC treat him and Dana White treat him like
he is chopped liver right now like the night it appen.
Dana Wise, Well, I guess he just didn't want to fight.
I guess he chose not to fight. I guess like
(01:10:35):
insinuating that Tom chickened out or Tom didn't want any
more of it because the fight wasn't going as well.
And if Tom didn't choose to fight, it's probably because
he couldn't see which is the right choice. Every time
we get into one of these situations, Henry so, Judo,
Patty Pemblett, Okay, Waldo Cortez Acosta gets his win, but
most guys overwhelming majority of guys get poked and their
entire fight, they lose the fight, they lose their belt,
(01:10:57):
or they lose their opportunity to get a belt. And
we just shocked up to hey, fight game, No two
fouls were committed. They need to either be rewarded or
if the guy can't continue, we change the rules and
we run it back again. God willing that Tom's okay,
we change these rules in some way to make it
a more harsh punishment. Let's fix the gloves. It should
be that simple, but instead we get this, this tension
(01:11:18):
between the company and Tom aspinall as if Tom is
the one at fault here, as if Tom is the
one that's that's causing a problem, and I get it.
Dana does not like when guys start talking about I'm
gonna go box, When guys, you know, talk about I
don't want to fight this guy because he's my buddy whatever,
and Tom and his team we're doing some of that.
Before the fight, Tom's dad was like, you know, we
got a couple more fights here, We're gonna go box.
(01:11:39):
After that, Tom was saying, I'm not fighting this guy
and this guy because they're friends of mine or we've
trained together. Dana doesn't like that stuff, but that's completely
separate from the fact is you're sitting champion and if
he can't ever fight again, there's got to be a
conversation about the rules set said. We have stuff like
this where Tom is opening up about his feelings toward
the UFC after his I issues quote I love him
may I'll never stop loving it, but I just hate
(01:12:00):
the business. I think that fighters are just completely replaceable,
and the business will make you feel like that any
chance it gets, even if you get hit with an
illegal move which could affect the rest of your life.
They don't really give a shit, and no one else
does either, And it's the sad reality of most sports businesses.
These athletes are expendable, they are replaceable. They are pieces
to a puzzle that can always be remade, reshaped, and
(01:12:23):
plugged back in. And that's the sports business. Promoters GM's
owners will use you as far as they can, or
will employ you as long as they can, as long
as you're physically able, and yes, that's the contract you
agree to, but it is use and throw away or
plug and replace, because once they don't have a use
for your physicality, it's all over. Now again, you sign
(01:12:45):
up for that business, but what you don't sign up
for is see illegality of the moves, of the reasons
that you're no longer physically able to do what you do.
And again I've always talked about how I'm a if
they really wanted to make a change, should have a union,
which will never happen. Now the this ward has been monopolized,
and that is what it is. That's I would say
on MA fighters more than anyone else. But it's a
(01:13:06):
harsh reality and it's a sucky one for Tom aspinall
because he didn't do anything but sign on the dotted line,
prepare his zelf properly, and let's not forget he was
essentially drug along through the whole John Jones saga for
about a year and a half and didn't really have
anything to say about it other than I just want
to fight. Let me fight. I want to fight. Was
not disrespectful about anything with the company, was there ready
(01:13:28):
to go, and John said he wanted to do it,
then didn't want to do it. Essentially that to pull
out to me, that's a duck to me, and Tom
was ready for the next guy up. That's what a
champion is in the UFC not treating him like one,
and dan't know why saying what he had to say,
it's not good man. I think the UFC is seeing
a lot of this stuff and they are thinking, Okay,
Tom can't fight, just like you know in other businesses,
(01:13:48):
it's the next man up. What do we do? We
have to keep this division going. I think they're going
to do an interim belt, and if Tom really can't
fight by the end of the year, I think they're
probably gonna strip him. Everything is indicating that they don't
really care if Tom for the belt or not. They
might do an interim at the White House with John
Jones and Alex Pereira or Soreal Gon Alex Pereira. I
don't know. They're probably gonna do an interim. If Tom
(01:14:08):
can't get it together by the end of the year,
they'll probably stripping and that will be one of the
biggest tragedies and travesties. Quite frankly, in the sport. We
saw what the UFC and Frances and Ghan who went
through that back and forth, and it showed us that
what Tom's saying's true, that everybody's expendable. There isn't anyone
that's irreplaceable anymore. It used to be Connor McGregor, but
even he isn't irreplaceable in the UFC anymore. They've grown
(01:14:28):
too big. It is about those three letters in nothing else.
It's their way or the highway. I mean, we just
saw with Jalton Almeta ranked guy bad performance after bad
performance after bad performance. See, you're not playing games, not
saying that Tom is. But they don't care. Their belt
will be defended one way or another. And if the champion,
again not Tom's fault, can't do it, they're gonna take
(01:14:50):
that belt from it and that'll be one of the
saddest things ever.
Speaker 4 (01:14:52):
Man.
Speaker 1 (01:14:52):
Anyway, I had to give the update. It's getting worse
by the day, it feels like with Tom Aspinall. But
I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm not looking
at this right way. But you guys let me know
down below. Can Tom Aspinall come back healthy after this
laundry list of things going on with him and not
only retain his belt but even fight ever again? Is
that ever going to happen?
Speaker 8 (01:15:14):
True?
Speaker 1 (01:15:14):
I'm telling you guys, I'm not even trying to be hyperbolic.
I have no idea. I don't know how four months
out of there and you're having it seems more issues
as time goes on. How you get over that and
reverse course is gonna be It's gonna be a tough
thing to do. But I don't have those answers. Comment
below what you think and does Tom Aspinall ever fight again?
I guess we'll find out. All right, So we are
back on the Way Concept presented by The Ring Magazine,
(01:15:34):
and today we are less than a week away from
Ryan Garcia Mario Barrios. This fight is going to be
insane in folks, you don't want to miss the Way
Concept X show Biz the adult in person live watch
party from the venue this Saturday. That's right, we're going

(01:15:56):
discount on the pay per view. If you're a new
customer to Zone, make sure you use code Wade seven.
You're gonna get seven percent off the pay per view.
That's about five dollars off your pay per view in
the US. And again this is limited to two thousand recipients.
I'm gonna need you guys to fill up that two thousand,
but we're going to be involved all week. Every video
(01:16:18):
you see coming up this week, make sure you guys
go to the Zone dot com slash the Way Concept,
use code Wade seven when you buy this pay per view.
And again this is just four new customers or customers
that are coming back to de Zone. Make sure you
guys get that subscription to Dezone. You don't want to
miss all the fight action coming up this year, not
(01:16:39):
just Mario Barrios, Ryan Garcia, but we also have Tyson
Fury returning, We have Miss Fitzpro coming back in the
middle of April. There's a ton of stuff you don't
want to miss. But folks, one more time, don't forget
me Showbiz, the watch Parties of the Century, the Dynamic Duo.
We're back in Vegas and it's gonna be a great night.
I want to see all my Way Concept people right
here on the live stream. With that being, let's get
(01:17:00):
into the video because today Ryan Garcia has been interviewed
by the world famous Mike Coppinger, and in this interview
there's a lot of talk about obviously his fight with
Mario Barrios, but a lot of talk about coming back
to fight and retire. Devin Haney talking about a fight
wi Shakur Stevenson. A lot of things Ryan goes over
in this video that I want to take a look at,
(01:17:21):
but the biggest one is the way Ryan looks in
this video, and we're gonna look at some other workout
stuff as well. Is Ryan Garcia too big for one
hundred and forty seven pounds? I know that sounds delusional,
but you'll see what I mean in a second. And
I keep asking this question because I don't have the answer.
Just how serious has Ryan taken this fight? Has he
has he taken the wrong thing serious? And is it
(01:17:41):
gonna show on fight night? Hold on to your thoughts
because I am going to explain why the breakdown. Let's go,
all right, So this is Ryan Garcia sitting with Mike Coppinger. Now,
first thing you see is that Ryan looks drained already,
and apparently he's on close to way. He's about one
hundred and fifty four. There was a rumor out there
(01:18:01):
that Ryan missed the weight check, the WBC weight check
fourteen days out. He was I guess you're not supposed
to be bigger than seven pounds more than your actual
fight weight. I don't know if he missed or not.
It's a five thousand dollars fine. But Ryan used to
fight at one hundred and thirty five pounds. He now
looks like he could never make one hundred and thirty
five pounds again. And then even missed at one forty
for the Devin Hainy fight, and then he came in
(01:18:22):
at one forty seven for the Roly fight. But he's
starting to look even too big for that weight class.
A move to fifty four might be in the cards,
Ryan Garcia, but he's talking about some other fights at
one forty four catchways, stuff like that. But I don't know, man,
He's either getting too big by lifting too much weights,
which we'll talk about in a second. I think that's
an interesting dynamic in boxing, is like do you lift
(01:18:42):
weights do you not? How does it affect your boxing.
I've always thought strength training as a part of your
boxing training is a great idea, but it also makes
you bigger and moves you out of weight classes very quickly.
But let's take a look at what Ryan thought about
the Roly Romero fight and how things went wrong.
Speaker 7 (01:18:59):
I'll want you then is like nine, oh yeah, for sure,
you know, less swollen, There's not I'll caol my system.
Speaker 5 (01:19:06):
There's no toxins.
Speaker 7 (01:19:07):
Your body doesn't have inflammation that affects a lot of
things of you, and people don't understand that until you
definitely can't fight in Times Square like that.
Speaker 13 (01:19:17):
But that was crazy too though we dropped a ring
in the middle of Times Square.
Speaker 7 (01:19:22):
I find it interesting that what I was feeling internally
my energy, you could feel it throughout the whole event
and everybody. It's like my energy was that powerful inside
that it affected the whole because people thought I was
going to bring a different type of energy and I
didn't because I felt so sad inside because of what
I wasn't able to do as an athlete in training,
(01:19:46):
and I knew I couldn't do it, but I still
had to show my face for the events, and I
knew I wasn't looking good. I knew I wasn't feeling good,
and you could see that energy affect everything around. And
I think that's why that it was so dull, because
it's funny when you.
Speaker 1 (01:20:01):
Look well, I mean, okay, number one, Ryan is gonna
They are a bit of an excuse for Ryan, like
you can't do what Ryan did. If we may have
missed it in this interview, but Ryan talked about you
know what happened for the Roly fight, and maybe he
gets into it more in a second, but he essentially
took a year off after the Devn Hainey fight because
he had the suspension, didn't train, went out, partied, drank
(01:20:24):
a lot, and then came into the Roly fight and
kind of, I think in his mind went, well, this
worked for the Devon fight, so I'm just gonna do
it again, which was train as much, drink throughout camp,
not prepare and hope for the best. It didn't go
his way. Roly prepared, really got ready and really took
him seriously, and Ryan didn't. And I think he thought, oh, well,
because it worked in the Devn fighter to work again,
(01:20:45):
It's just not the way it works. You can't not
prepare for something over and over and expect greatness to happen, right,
So I'm not a big fan of Ryan to do
the excuse making stuff there. Roly won that fight, really
prepared for that fight, and he pretty much dominated that fight.
Wasn't a great fight to watch. But the other part
is in the Times Square thing didn't work was because
it was one everybody kind of tensed up in that
(01:21:06):
moment because it was the middle of Times Square, because
it was a very, i don't know, odd venue. It
was a different atmosphere. But at the end of the day,
you're fighters, and for him and Devin Haiti, it was
their first fight after their fights, and they didn't seem
to feel like they were back in rhythm yet. But also,
you're fighting the middle of traffic. You know, you're fighting
in the middle of the street. It was a great venue.
(01:21:27):
It was cool to me as as a fan to watch,
but it had to be a different thing because you're
getting driven to the event and you're not like in
the hotel, you're like kind of just walking around.
Speaker 5 (01:21:37):
It was.
Speaker 1 (01:21:37):
It was a definitely a different thing in a switch
up that probably affected his and the other fighters' mentalities.
Speaker 5 (01:21:42):
But you know, I was called to boxing. That's what
I'm to do. You know, this is my profession.
Speaker 7 (01:21:46):
And now I've taken this series and I'm going about
to show y'all what I could really do for twenty first.
Speaker 13 (01:21:51):
Yeah, and I feel like, you like this position when
you go into the roller fight and everyone's like, oh,
he's gonna crushing and.
Speaker 7 (01:21:56):
A guy that you're supposed to be is more annoying
because it's like if he hits you once, oh my god,
he hit yeah, right, Like when Jake Paul was saying
Anthony Joshua, it's like Jake Paul was surviving.
Speaker 5 (01:22:07):
They're like they're getting more and more intent. It's like, bro,
just calm the fuck down. He sucks. Just wait, you
know what I mean. So it's kind of and sometimes
in a way it's a little harder.
Speaker 7 (01:22:15):
You got to be more focused because even if they
land won, that's foorth ten shots.
Speaker 11 (01:22:20):
Yeah, hit Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:22:22):
There is a distortion when an underdog does more than
they're supposed to do. And yes, there was a lot
of talk about the way Jake fought Anthony Joshua and
how if he did anything then it would be looked
at favorably for Jake. There are people saying that if
Jake got out of the first round, it was a
win for Jake. I was to believe that if he
got into the later rounds, it was a win, and
he kind of did. I thought until he got his
(01:22:44):
jaw separated, Jake had a lot even though he was
fighting a very defensive and you know, negative fight, he
could have exited that ring and had he survived a
couple more rounds and say I went you know the
distance with Anthony Joshua. But what Ryan is missing in
this entire equation is that he is not fighting an
exhibition match. Right like the Jake and Anthony Joshua thing.
(01:23:05):
It wasn't an exhibition, but it wasn't anything that was
for a belt. It wasn't any sort of like kind
of put together super fight that had nothing to do
with anything and was clearly slanted one way him and Rollie. Yeah,
a lot of people thought Ryan would win, but that
doesn't make the fight less interesting than anybody. It was
for a belt. And this is kind of what I
worry about with Ryan Garcia is that when he is
(01:23:27):
not motivated for a fight, or when he doesn't have,
you know, whatever the intangible is that makes him want
to fight, he doesn't perform well. This is the old
saying of like, you know, playing to your competition. There
are times where you're not going to be super amped
up for every single thing that happens in your life,
but you still got to do it. Champions take that
(01:23:48):
challenge and even if it isn't about the opponent, it's
about the title defense. It's about me versus you know myself.
They find a way to motivate themselves. They find a
way to put a new goal out there. Ryan seems
to only have that next step up when someone's against him,
when people think he'll lose, when it's a different challenge
to him. Even though the Roly fight was a huge challenge.
(01:24:11):
It was a world title shot, right, But you think
back through Ryan's career in the fights where he performs better.
Oscar Duarte fight, he thought Oscar de la Hoya and
all of Golden Boy was against him. Obviously, the Devin
Haney fight, no one thought he'd win. The Luke Campbell fight.
You know, Luke was an Olympian, so that was a
big deal as well. Just a Vonte Davis fight. He
just lost. I mean, yes, the wait cut whatever, but
(01:24:32):
Ryan lost. But the mentality of Ryan, that's the thing
that's so all over the place from time to time
that you just don't know what Ryan you're gonna get.
I don't know what Ryan we're gonna get. In the
Mario Barrios fight, He's saying all the right stuff, he's
trained hard, right, he's acting like this is the one,
but mentally is it right? Because he kind of said
the right stuff. He was a little quieter last time
with the Roly fight, but he said the right stuff.
And it's hard to know, dude. It is because another
(01:24:54):
thing you worry about. I keep looking at this picture
of Ryan. I'm seeing a guy that looks like he's
very big for a hundred and forty seven pounds. What
if this fight does get into you know, rounds eight, nine, ten,
Mario Barrios is durable and he goes into deep water
into three straight decisions. Ryan looked out of shape in
the Devon fight, didn't throw a lot in the Roly fight.
Does he have the stamina to keep up with Mario
(01:25:17):
Barrios late if he doesn't stop him early, because I
know he has the power to put him down late.
But what happens midpoint of the fight, if Mario hasn't
felt that left hand, if he's still there, if he's
still trying to find his combinations to find his offense.
I don't know, man. I want Ryan to win this fight.
I'll just be dead honest with you. And it's not
even a biased thing. I think it's better for boxing
if for Ryan does win the fight. But this is
(01:25:37):
not an easy fight. This shouldn't be as difficult as
I feel it's going to be for Ryan, but it
is not. Mario's still a world champion. He might not
be the best world champion in my opinion, but still,
I don't know, man, there's something something off.
Speaker 11 (01:25:50):
Like it was like a pusher.
Speaker 5 (01:25:51):
It didn't hurt at all.
Speaker 11 (01:25:52):
No, you weren't hurt.
Speaker 7 (01:25:52):
I was hoping it hurt so I could just stay down.
I was like, yeah, we really, yeah, but it didn't hurt.
Speaker 5 (01:25:57):
It was that bad. I was like, it didn't hurt
that bad.
Speaker 13 (01:26:01):
I'm like, ah, I'm not gonna you're trying to be
funny though you weren't really hoping that you'd.
Speaker 5 (01:26:05):
Stay down course not, but like I got up and
I was.
Speaker 1 (01:26:07):
Just I mean, the man said, I was hoping it
hurts so I could just stay down. And Mike's like, uh,
you know, we kind of saw that in Gervonte Davis fight.
Jervonte hit him with the left hand to the body
liver shot. Ryan stayed down and popped up immediately on ten.
You know, I there is certain people I never want
to say a fight or quits whatever, but when they're
(01:26:29):
you're talking like that, that's not good. Again, the mentality thing.
If you're going into a fight not thinking you can win,
the first time you get hit with something heavy, you're going,
I hope it hurts so I can stay here. Does
that ever leave you? Does that change? Ryan's gotten up
from big punches. I mean, he got up from the
Roly knockdown, He got up from the Luke Campbell dright
when Luke Campbe dropped him, got up the first time
(01:26:50):
Gervonte dropped him. But all by the way left hooks careful.
I don't like that. I don't like that mentality's whereas
like you know, deciding if if something hurts enough to
stay down, even if he's Joe King.
Speaker 13 (01:27:00):
It's like I said, Devin Haney say the other day
that now he doesn't want to fight you because you
pulled out of a vat Atteste.
Speaker 5 (01:27:05):
We knew that, me and my dad we called it.
Speaker 7 (01:27:07):
We're like, you know what they really they know who
I am, and they know when they feel that fear coming.
That's why I told him the first time, you're gonna
feel that fear, and he felt that. He knows just
that Ryan's coming strong. He's like, that's why he said, But.
Speaker 1 (01:27:21):
Do you see the difference when Ryan talks about Devin Haney,
when he talks about other people that he genuinely wants
to fight, it's a different Ryan that comes out. Look
at the smirk on his face. Dude, he's about to
take a shot at tequila. A psych goes back. That's
what opens up the door. Man the joker thirds if.
Speaker 5 (01:27:36):
Ryan liks getting borrowed, He's like, no, no, we're good.
He dropped out of out.
Speaker 7 (01:27:40):
He's making all the excuses, but it's okay. We're not
even worried about him. I really want to fight Shakur.
Speaker 11 (01:27:45):
No, we need that HAINI fight too, though.
Speaker 5 (01:27:46):
Now I know that's always going to be there though,
but that's who I want to fight. I want to
go from Barrios to.
Speaker 11 (01:27:51):
Shirkerk straight to it. Yeah, forty seven, forty four, you're
making forty four.
Speaker 5 (01:27:57):
I'll make a whole division called forty four Me and Sugar.
Speaker 11 (01:28:00):
He said he would do it no realization. Yeah, okay, yeah,
that's a huge fight too.
Speaker 5 (01:28:06):
Yeah, and I know he's confident, so let's run it.
Speaker 13 (01:28:08):
But I feel like, with all the bad blood now
between you, I feel like you and Devin truly don't
like each other.
Speaker 1 (01:28:13):
And like, I don't know, man, Ryan versus chakor is
Chaquur is just a tough matchup for everybody at one
thirty five, at one forty and some of the guys
at one forty seven, which I don't know if Shakur
is ever gonna go, I mean he will, I think
at some point go to one forty seven, But he's
a tough, tough matchup. The most educated lead hand right now,
I think in boxing, maybe maybe Usik and him have
(01:28:34):
the best lead hand in boxing. I mean, Ryan has
a good lead hook, but Shakur's jab the way he
uses it, the way he uses it to set up offense,
the way he used it to keep defense, the way
he used it to keep rain, And yes, part of
that was ta Femo not having his hands up at all,
just keep getting peppered by the same thing. But damn,
I don't know what Ryan does that neutralizes it, besides
(01:28:54):
trying to come around the back door with the left
hook over the top of it. But even and then
we're talking about a looping punch getting there before a
straight one, and I don't know if that's gonna happen.
I'd watch the fight, though, don't get me wrong, Ryan
have if he should beat Mario Barrio's Yeah, of course,
I'd watch him fight Chakor. I just think she Cour
is too good for everybody right now.
Speaker 5 (01:29:13):
I just love something about fighting.
Speaker 7 (01:29:15):
So many people don't think I'm gonna beat It's like
that Devin Haney effect, right, It's like, you really think
I'm not gonna beat.
Speaker 11 (01:29:20):
There, you like a nine to one underdog.
Speaker 1 (01:29:21):
I think, and this is this is what now I'm realizing.
Ryan's mentality is he loves to be an underdog because
there's no pressure. There's pressure on Ryan when he is favored.
There's pressure on him when a lot of people want
and think he will win. When he fights at Devin Haney,
when he fights at Chakor, when he fights guys that
are already you know, multiple time multiple division world champions.
(01:29:42):
He's looked at as the underdog. There's no pressure there.
He can just go in and fight freely. But when
he is the overwhelming favorite, when he has to put
it on the line, when he's got the pressure, things
flip a little bit. That's what I'm seeing.
Speaker 13 (01:29:54):
Obviously, you're a big favorite against Roly and you're a
big favorite again against Barrio. A big favorite. But it's
a different thing, right. A lot of people in boxing
are trying to say, oh, they respect Marios, Yeah, they
respect Marios, and they're saying, well, maybe Ryan, he's.
Speaker 1 (01:30:06):
Just shitting on Roly. Yeah, respect Marios. But this is
what I'm saying. Ryan's a big favorite. Again. Here, let's
see how he handles the pressure of everyone thinking he's
gonna win a title. This is the same position, honestly,
maybe even more so than he was in against Roly.
Somehow he loses to Role, gets a title shot, and
the guy he's fighting for the belt, you could argue,
(01:30:27):
is worse than Roly. Not to say that again, I'm
not even trying to be that guy with Mario Barrios.
He has good wins, he has good experience. But the
point is people think that Ryan should win this fight.
Haands down, so he has to go and meet expectation again,
not deliver with no pressure, but deliver with high pressure.
Speaker 11 (01:30:45):
So people are sleeping on you in this fight.
Speaker 7 (01:30:46):
I think, yeah, and that's great, like they were sleeping
on Devin Handy too.
Speaker 5 (01:30:50):
A Brian Norman Jr.
Speaker 7 (01:30:52):
Was the only one that vouched you want money, right,
and I yes, of course, and I said, hey, I know,
because I know myself. We both had a cover from
that big ball of energy that would just dispute it
in our fight. I think it just took us both out.
We just couldn't recover, like what the hell just happened?
We don't even know. And then he fought like shit.
I felt like shit. But then now we we figure
(01:31:14):
shit out. Now, watch me have a better performance. Watch
I'm gonna show you a killer in the ring. You
know you should have finished Brian Norman Junior kind of
took it a little easy on them.
Speaker 5 (01:31:23):
After you dropped him.
Speaker 7 (01:31:24):
Yeah, got a little happy there, buddy, But I know
you're not used to knocking people down, so you don't
know what to do after that. But at the end
of the day, you know, let's see my performance and
then we all judge each other for how we fought.
And uh, that's what we do, you know, right, we're fighters.
We assess our performance and we go from there.
Speaker 11 (01:31:42):
Yeah, that's funny a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (01:31:43):
That seems good explanation. Again, I don't like the excuse
making necessarily, but not a bad explanation for what happened
that night between Ryan and Devin and Obviously you can't
talk about that night without you know, mentioning, mentioning the
Ostereene and the mist Waight and everything else. But that
night changed both their careers. For sure. Devon seems to
have gotten back on track. Ryan desperately needs to against Mario.
Speaker 11 (01:32:07):
We need the Hani fight. I think this year.
Speaker 5 (01:32:11):
I'm with it.
Speaker 7 (01:32:12):
But you've seen him. He said he don't want to
do it, so I think you'll do. Say what can
I say? I didn't say, no, he did.
Speaker 11 (01:32:18):
Do you think it's the biggest fight in boxing for sure?
Speaker 5 (01:32:21):
For sure? On what bigger storyline is there?
Speaker 11 (01:32:24):
The first one was so good, so entertaining.
Speaker 5 (01:32:26):
Yeah, because of me? Yeah, well I brought this ship,
he didn't.
Speaker 1 (01:32:31):
We outside of like Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua or that's
probably it, to be honest with you. If Shakoran Gervonte
Davis fought, maybe that would be a big one as well.
But outside of that, yeah, this is one of the
biggest fights you can make in boxing. The Devin Haney
or I mean, y'all aren't gonna like it, but Kassi
Jake Paul, But Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia rematch is huge, dude,
(01:32:56):
And the sad thing is we may not get it
because of you know, Bill Haney, Devon are talking about
they want to they want to maybe go to fifty
four by Xander Zias. I don't know. I don't know
what's going on there. But we need to see this
fight before they get too far away and just never
have like, we don't want to see this as a
you know, thirty six thirty seven year olds.
Speaker 7 (01:33:17):
Now.
Speaker 1 (01:33:17):
We want to see this now son, right after this fight.
There's no reason they can't do it. I know Ryan
says he wants to fight Shakor, but do the Devin
Hainey fight. If Ryan is to win, you have a
unification bout there, bang, and then you can worry about Shakor.
That's what I think. Don't wait for these massive fights.
It only makes things way worse and to the point
(01:33:38):
where we don't actually ever get it. We need that fight.
Speaker 5 (01:33:41):
They're scared.
Speaker 7 (01:33:42):
He didn't know what to expect, and people in my
camp said, oh he wasn't. People that in his camp
told me, oh he wasn't himself in that training camp. Yeah,
because I scared the shit out of you, and I'll
scare the shit out of you again.
Speaker 5 (01:33:55):
That fear. I told you humble yourself before I do
it again.
Speaker 11 (01:34:00):
I think one of the best spanking speaking.
Speaker 5 (01:34:03):
That's what I was visualizing, just spanking him.
Speaker 13 (01:34:05):
What you're visualizing, like just on his bare ass in
my hands to his ass.
Speaker 1 (01:34:11):
Well, hey, yeah, dude. When Ryan starts talking about Devin Haiti,
he's one like shot up patron away from going full
demon Motiga. He is one shot away. That liquor is tempted.
You just got to give him Bruski and he is ready,
(01:34:33):
so he is gonna flip. I still can't believe some
of the ship that happened in that pre fight. And
if they do the rematch, best expect I mean maybe
he won't be drinking like that, but expect some absolute
chaos again, no doubt about it.
Speaker 13 (01:34:44):
He visualizing with bos Oh, that's gonna be a great fight.
Speaker 11 (01:34:48):
But you don't have any bad blow with Barrios.
Speaker 7 (01:34:50):
No, I mean I don't even really, I'm not, I'm not.
I don't see Barrios. I just see an opponent that
I need a beat. So it's not really about Barrios.
Bars great probably great human, great person, but I don't
see him as like right there as him.
Speaker 5 (01:35:05):
I just see an opponent and that's it.
Speaker 11 (01:35:06):
Have you watched the Paco fight with him?
Speaker 7 (01:35:08):
Not really because it's Sell Paul, but I do see
a little bit of tendencies that Packer I was doing
in what kinde of punches were catching barers A lot
just based on just boxing, but it's more Keith Thurman.
Speaker 5 (01:35:20):
I like watching Keith Thurman. Who else? Able Ramos? I
watch all all the.
Speaker 13 (01:35:26):
Fights Tremonto Davis fighter right now because so Paul No.
Speaker 5 (01:35:29):
I was trying not to watch the Sell Pall because
it's a different position.
Speaker 11 (01:35:31):
That makes sense. I like.
Speaker 1 (01:35:33):
I like when the analytical Ryan comes out like who
he's been watching to get ready to Keith Thurman fight. Yes,
Able Ramos, I was there. That was a tough night, obviously,
both tough nights for Mario Barrios. But I'm interested to
see what Ryan takes away from those fights. What can
Ryan in his style, that kind of freestyle boxing he
says he does, What can that? What can he implement
(01:35:53):
from either of those guys to beat Barrios.
Speaker 11 (01:35:56):
One of the best finishes in boxing. I know you
didn't finish Devin Haney, but you had to drost save them.
Speaker 5 (01:36:00):
I should have knocked them. I just didn't have the condition.
Speaker 11 (01:36:02):
I think it still bothers you.
Speaker 5 (01:36:03):
Huh. Yes, I should have knocked him out on that eleventh.
Speaker 7 (01:36:06):
Man, I was playing around too much, and I was like, like, bro,
but next time, oh that next time, But here we go.
You won't have a next time. I'm finishing you. You
will never box again if we fight again. And you
know that, and I have doubted that if we fight again,
you will never box again.
Speaker 5 (01:36:24):
I promise you that.
Speaker 1 (01:36:27):
Geez, this is what I'm saying. Bro, we need this.
I've said it so many times. We need this fight
that promo. Use it in every bild if Ryan wins
on Saturday, dude, because that would be the biggest fight
in America. Right now, do it. I'm gonna retire you.
You'll never box again if we run it back.
Speaker 11 (01:36:46):
What is it?
Speaker 13 (01:36:46):
Nine days out? Nine days out from fight night? High
Stakes the ring magazine? Give us a prediction? What's gonna happen?
Speaker 5 (01:36:53):
A prediction? Man? Eight nine ten.
Speaker 11 (01:37:00):
I think that says I'm going around to day.
Speaker 5 (01:37:02):
I like that. Eight nine ten.
Speaker 1 (01:37:04):
Mike just straight up's like I'm picking you. Isn't Mike
gonna be on the broadcast? I mean, listen, that's interesting.
Eight nine or ten. Again, Ryan does carry power lay.
He dropped Devin twice in the later rounds. He dropped
the other guys and stopped him in later rounds. I
just Marios is durable, man, He's durable. It took Tank
up until the eleventh to stop him at one forty
he's now a one forty seven. You look at both
(01:37:27):
of them. Ryan is you know, more muscular, but Barrios
has the bigger frame, he's taller, longer. We'll see Ryan
does well with those guys though, eight nine ten. If
he can carry that power light, if he's got the
gas tank in the stamina to do it, then the
real Ryan.
Speaker 13 (01:37:42):
His backs and then where else he where are your
other goals? I mean, obviously you're going right now, win
this fight.
Speaker 5 (01:37:46):
When this fight become breakout streamer of the year.
Speaker 1 (01:37:51):
A win this fight and pre be breakout streamer of
the year on kick dude again, I respect that Ryan
is trying to push his fight like he was the
only guy kind of doing promo for it. I mean,
obviously Mario Barrios is not a you know, social media
guy like that, but breakout streamer of the year, I
don't know I'm never it's so hard again. I talked
(01:38:12):
about this earlier. You don't know what Ryan's mentality is.
He surround the entire Devin Haney camp, wins the fight,
destroys Devin, knocks him down a bunch of times. He
tries to do the same thing with Roy. Doesn't work.
Now he's doing streaming alongside getting ready for the fight.
Hot is that, uh parlay into his success or detriment?
But that's just a crazy answer, like goals for twenty
(01:38:32):
twenty six, Not get a bunch of belts, It's win
this world title and become breakout streamer of the year.
All right, there we go, all right real quick, I
want to just watch one more thing, uh if we can.
And it's just the back half of Ryan Garcia doing
some training for the Barrios fight. Now again, this is
Ryan coming up to one forty seven. He's doing a
(01:38:55):
lot of strength training when you watch him. What chance,
let's go rights. Nothing wrong with that again, I am
a big believer in strength training as a boxer. But
it's also putting mass on him.
Speaker 5 (01:39:06):
Y'all see that one right there?
Speaker 1 (01:39:07):
Right, And this is how he kind of looked before
the Devin Hainey fight. He was a big dude. The
shoulders were big. And I know people are already saying, oh,
Ryan's back on the stuff. Ryan's back on the stuff.
I don't know if we can go that far. And
again it's still alleged whether he knew of, you know,
the austerereen taking or not. I am of the belief
that he did accidentally, but I still don't know that
and I can't prove that, so who knows. But you
(01:39:29):
see these these you know videos of Ryan in the
weight room, though.
Speaker 5 (01:39:33):
That means I'm reindeer, I'm Rudolph the Reindeer.
Speaker 1 (01:39:35):
What was he? I got no idea what he's talking
about with that, but.
Speaker 7 (01:39:38):
You see a lot bigger pay attention really.
Speaker 1 (01:39:45):
Just like he's doing lap pull downs, getting really really
strong in his push pull Again, this is him building
explosive knockout power, which he already had, but it was
like whip power, right, He had like the whipping motion
of his lead hand, And I think this could be
a big, big strength to his but it also could
potentially be a detriment depending on how you look at
the situation. The biggest question mark I have is Ryan
(01:40:08):
Garcia going to have the stamina to go the twelve
and keep up that quick, twitch, fast, powerful strike, that
viper like strike that he has. That's my biggest question.
And the lifting makes me kind of and I'm sure
there's running and roadwork involved as well, but if the
building a muscle, it does make me worry that there's
going to be a lot more fatigue, a lot quicker
(01:40:31):
having to pump blood to those muscles that he's clearly
working to get a lot stronger. That's the drawback of
getting bigger is that you need a lot more muscle
on you. And Barrios is not one of those guys
that's in the weight room throwing around crazy weight like that.
He may not have the one punch explosive power. And
Barrios has power, but he may not need it if
it goes into the later rounds. That's what I'm saying.
(01:40:54):
That's one thing they want to keep up while he
is still building muscle. He has always been known for
his hand speed. His handspeed's crazy, so one thing that
you again, it's a bit of a counterbalance. As you
build muscle, those things, it takes a lot more. It
requires a lot more effort, energy, blood flow to make
the muscles move fast, even when you build them to
(01:41:14):
be strong, you have to balance that, and Ryan is
looking to do that. But again, what's gonna be the
detriment of him building that muscle? Will it be as fatigue,
it be his speed or will it be anything? Or
will it be as fast and strong as he always
was while also being like flexible with the lead hand
and twitchy. The question remains, what Ryan Garcia is gonna
show up? Will the real Ryan Garcia please stand up?
(01:41:35):
Because we truly don't know what we're gonna get. I
believe we're gonna get a nasty, nasty performance from both guys,
and I think this is gonna push Ryan and Mario
Barrios to be better. But the question is who actually
comes out of it world champion. I don't have those answers,
but it's fight week, ladies and gentlemen, do not miss
myself Showbiz this Saturday live watch party right here on
my channel, also on his channel, also on his own channel.
(01:41:56):
It's gonna be a great night. I'll see you guys.
Then what happens in the main event, I don't have
those answers, but I guess we'll find out, all right,
So we are back on the way concept presented it
by The Ring magazine, and today Sneako and Misfits got
beat and I'm not even sure why you guys missed this.
Sneako has been offered a lot of money to fight
Andrew Tait in a fight that I think makes almost
(01:42:17):
no sense for Sneako, I'll be honest, a fight that
makes a lot of sense and a lot of dollars
for everybody involved. So I understand why Misfits wants to
do it, but things are spiraling out of control because
Sneako leaked that same fight offer to the world. Now
there's something you don't do in any sort of professional setting,
and I'll explain why. But it also tells me a
lot about what Sneako wanted out of this, and what
(01:42:40):
Misfits wanted out of this, and what Andrew Tate wanted
out of this. So let's get into it. But before
we do, guys sometimes fall a little bit short of
what you need on a daily, monthly, weekly basis to
make ends meet, and you need cash now for unexpected expenses.
And if you don't have that on hand, there's one
place I know you can go. It's a sponsor of
(01:43:01):
today's video. It's Clover, that's right, guys. Clover is a
financial app designed to give people faster, smarter access to
their money without hidden fees or predatory practices that often
come with payday loan because Clover is just access to
your earned wage with no interest, no late fees, and
no credit checks. And me, for example, I used to
get into a buy and a lot when I was
(01:43:23):
living paycheck to paycheck, when I was working hard, but
the money just didn't seem to be there when I
needed it the most. I would overloved to have something
like Clover to get me through a buy and when
my car broke down on the way from one job
to another, when I was looking to pay for groceries
but the money wasn't quite in the account yet paying
from the last time I had groceries and the bills
(01:43:43):
on top of that. If you guys have seen my
previous card, the old Ford Focus two thousand and nine edition,
you know it was gonna take a lot of repairs
to keep that thing going. So it would have been
nice to have something like Clover and their cash advance
because right now they offer up to four hundred dollars
in a cash advance again to get your earn wages earlier.
For the access you need. It'll give you peace of
(01:44:03):
mind knowing that you don't have to worry about late
fees or interest charges and you can access your cash now.
So for short on cast and you need access to
up to four hundred dollars with no credit check or
late fees, make sure you click the link in the
description below or click the QR code on screen. Once again,
if you need access to your cash, quick click the
link in the description and sign up today with Clover
(01:44:26):
and let them know I sent you. Thank you Clover
for sponsoring this video. And now let's get back into
the breakdown. Sneak O just leaked a massive deal for
him to fight Andrew Tait. He leaked it on Twitter,
no less, but the caption you're broke. Now, this was
a text thread, not necessarily a contract written and signed
(01:44:49):
and all the you know, dot in the eyes and
crossing the t's, that's not what happened. This is a
text for Mams Taylor and the Jay in there. I
assume I don't want to, you know, get something wrong here,
but I assume that's another name it misfits Jake who
works on a lot of contracts for them. Mam says
private and confidential deal terms, and I assume this is
Sneako saying, yes, I'm interested, please send some of the details.
(01:45:11):
So Sniko entertained this idea of fighting Andrew Ta to
see what the details would be. Now, again, I don't
think Sneako should fight Andrew da. I think Andrew Date
would would hurt Sneako pretty badly. And it's not because
Sneako is weak or whatever. It's because Snico hasn't had
a fight. I've talked to Sneko about this. I think
you should get in there with someone of the same
experience level he is. Andrew Tate is just far more experienced.
(01:45:33):
It's not even close, so he shouldn't fight Snako. Also,
Sneako answer your damn phone son, eleven hundred miss text
that's crazy work. But anyway, he was entertaining the idea
and misfits and ma'am's again, I would never show this,
but it's already out in the public. Snako broke the
Golden rule, the cardinal sin of you know, fight negotiations
and really contract negotiations. And again, Snako is pretty transparent
(01:45:55):
with his audience. He really shows them everything, the money
he makes on kick and all this other stuff, and
he he doesn't really hide anything from the public, So
I can respect that, But this is just something I,
in my opinion, you don't do because it burns bridges.
If you never, if you like ever wanted to fight
on misfits, if you ever wanted to do business with
Mams Taylor or anybody over there, you kind of just
burn that bridge. And Sneako might be okay with that,
because it feels like he's burned a lot of bridges
(01:46:16):
with the you know, the song and the whole thing
with him and Andrew Tate falling out and the whole
reason for this potential fight. And again I respect him
standing on business when it comes to his word, but
you gotta do it better than this. You gotta do
it better. But he did it to show everybody that
he is quote unquote top g We'll get into that
in a second. So it says private and confidential deal terms.
Immediately disrespected Mams Taylor that way, and I felt like
(01:46:37):
Mams has done right by a lot of people, especially
you know me included, especially recently in the last couple
of years. So this was low man, I Sneaker shouldn't
have done this. Mams deserves better than that. But we'll
get into Sneako's response in a second. The location the
United States or UAE five three minute rounds to be fair,
it's a pretty sweet offer. Again, I don't think it
would go five rounds. I think I think Tate would
(01:46:58):
have probably knocked him out. We're talking about two guys
that are in completely different weight classes and experience everything else.
The date would be in quarter three, so this would
be you know, anywhere from I assume August to October,
maybe any of those three dates or any of those
three months. I should say the waight TVD we should
discuss and come up with a fair solution. Fee one
(01:47:20):
million dollars plus back end. Oh my lord, that is
more back end than the Chloe concept. You understand that's
a lot of money. Okay, one million dollars. Sneako would
have to ask himself and put into his mind, am
I willing to get my ass kicked for one million dollars?
Because again, I don't mean this in any other way.
I want to see Sneako fight if he actually wants
(01:47:41):
to do it, but I think he should fight someone
who doesn't have a fight, because that's only fair. This
would not be fair at all. This would be Sneako
signing up for Andrew Tate to pummel and with what
Sneako's doing outside of boxing, which is he's not even
in boxing all the content and everything else, he doesn't
need to fight. So it's more of a question of
do you want reputation spoiled and Andrew Tate to have
(01:48:02):
anything over you because right now sneak O in terms
of like the Internet seeing someone one way or the other,
sneak O kind of has a leg up on Andrew
t in terms of how he's looked at for his word,
his integrity, the things he stands on business for whatever
stand on business. But for a million dollars, that's a
lot of money. That is a lot of money, but
(01:48:23):
also promo announcement and presser launch as well as fight
week obligations such as presser, open, workout, wig, and et cetera.
Traveling accommodation two business class and three economy plus four
rooms and one luxury suite at the hotel. Now again
this is cool to see, like because I haven't been
in you know, high level fight negogia whatever for Misfits
(01:48:44):
other than my own fight, which was pretty much we
didn't even have Like I had the contract, we knew
the number, let's get it right. There wasn't a ton
of stuff that needed to happen from there. But it's
cool to see, like because this would be considered a
top tier fight on Misfits right now, just because the
internet is buzzing around Andrew T. Sneako's got a lot
of clout, no doubt about it. If Sneako is any
more experienced and actually had fights, and it would you
(01:49:06):
could in your mind conceptualize it being competitive. This would
be one you'd want to watch, no doubt. And the
weight class. But you see they misfits and mams that
he you know, he was putting the full court press
on this h on this offer, there was nothing really
left behind. A rematch clause would be two million and
back in he says, you keep all your sponsorship revenue
and we can help you with that if needed. I
(01:49:27):
estimate two fifty to five hundred k if on rumble
will get your count reinstated. So all in all, Sneako
could potentially without even the back end number counted whatever
that would be on rumble earn himself up to one
point five million dollars to fight Andrew Tate now number one.
This tells me Andrew Tate wants to fight again. It
also tells me that Andrew Tate needs a tune up, right,
(01:49:48):
because Sneako is not chased him more in anyway. He's
not two hundred and twenty pounds, He's not six', Five
he isn't any experience at. All AND i don't know
if they Want tate running right back into that freight
train and he ran into and chase them. More, right
that's a that's a tough. Matchup it just Is tate's
usually the, taller, longer stronger, guy and he was not
that in any part of the. Fight he had to
(01:50:10):
be better, technically and he gassed out Against. Sneak, oh
he would already be better, technically he would outweigh him
BY i, mean Could tate even cut down to one
hundred and eighty? Pounds could that even be? Possible and
Could sneako even get up? There someone told me sneaks
like one to. SIXTY i don't know about any of,
that but, anyway one point five mil on the table
and the fact that sneako is has leaked this hold
on there's more he would need to work out a
fair solution on. Weight let me. Know if everything looks
(01:50:32):
fair and, acceptable we'll start working on, date, venue, contracts et.
CETERA i never got banned On. Rumble my contract. Descended
that's all he led back to. It So sneako posting
this tells me That sneako does not want to Fight Andrew,
tait which, is to be fair to, him the right.
Decision he should not be Fighting Andrew tate now a
lot of, money which you could read as you, Know
misfits desperately wanting to put a big fight on and
(01:50:56):
maybe they have another one planned For Andrew, tate but
they definitely want to Get Andrew tate involved again in
twenty twenty. Six so the big three right, there at
least before we even watch The sneako video Is misfits
knows That Andrew tait and Sneak o is a big.
Fight and Now SNEAKO i mean, again he probably has
kind of burned the bridge With. Misfits but had he
not leaked, this he would know that he has some
leverage in some cachet that if he ever did want to.
(01:51:18):
Box he HAS i Know Brand risk is doing their,
thing but he has an ability to go To misfits
and know what number he could potentially ask. For right,
AGAIN i talked about The misfits. Side they want to
make a fight in the third quarter of this, year
a big, fight presumably Including Andrew. Tate the third thing,
AGAIN i kind of talked about, This Andrew tait wants
to come. BACK i didn't know If i'd anticipate. That,
(01:51:39):
again this is a tune up it would Be Andrew,
tait but it does start to because he was acting, like,
oh you, know Maybe i'm too. OLD i don't know
IF i can still do. This but for Sneak, o
he would do it one hundred. Percent he wants to
Punch sneako in the face for all the shit that's been,
talked all the bullshit back and forth between them. Two
he wants to right and then then you, know obviously
the major tell here is That sneko didn't want to fight,
(01:51:59):
him which is. Fine, Again sneako shouldn't jump in there
With Andrew tate right. Away and he also had this
tweet WHICH i thought was kind of. Interesting Aiden ross
is The Dana white of Gen z limitless potential and
that was sin at you, know almost one. O'clock and
then seven minutes later he leaks, This so maybe this
Is sneako, Announcing, yeah, Misfits i'm going to brand. Risk which,
again did you have to do it that? Way seemed
(01:52:20):
LIKE mams was pretty respectful to. You just kind of
a dick. MOVE i don't know that's the. WAY i, mean,
AGAIN i like, sneak, oh but that's that's insane to.
Me take a look at What sneako had to say about.
Speaker 14 (01:52:31):
It here are the current, conditions and people got upset
because at the top it says private and confidential deal.
TERMS i hope you know that just because somebody texts
you private and confidential doesn't mean that it's private and.
CONFIDENTIAL i didn't sign. Anything i'm not a part of this.
Organization i'm not making money from. Them Mam teller was
respectful in the recent conversation, conversations but in the, Past
Mam teller was extremely disrespectful to. Me, YEAH i don't
(01:52:53):
know if you forgot the whole organization was extremely, disrespectful
trying to bait me, in to try to get me
to fight different and different people and KS.
Speaker 10 (01:53:01):
I was farming.
Speaker 1 (01:53:02):
It they were same, guy.
Speaker 14 (01:53:05):
All, Right and now they want me to fight, now
they need me to save the organization because you, Know
chase The more did kind of change the trajectory of
this entire company after that fight, happened and SO i was,
like you, know, well you're gonna make.
Speaker 10 (01:53:15):
These conditions and deals about. This it's, like what what
DO i really owe?
Speaker 14 (01:53:18):
You and also to you're broke what they're saying with
the saying Top Goy, now it's like he still hasn't
apologized for lying on my, name SNEAK o, didn't still,
hasn't still hasn't corrected the, record you, know did that
Whole jewish apology tour on all these, podcasts and then
moved on like nothing. Happened and then he went on
to say That epstein was the success and then deleted the.
Speaker 10 (01:53:39):
Tweet you.
Speaker 14 (01:53:40):
Know so it's, LIKE i don't really owe these people.
Anything they're, Saying, oh this is private and. Confidential what
DO i owe these?
Speaker 4 (01:53:45):
People?
Speaker 1 (01:53:46):
RIGHT i just think that's The, again whatever he's got Against,
state that's. Fine that's between those. Two and you know
they're they're trying to battle for top G, internet AND
i don't know masculine man. WHATEVER i have no, idea
BUT i don't know what he's talking about with like
in the, past if misfits And MAM's AND, KSI i
REMEMBER ksi used to like go back and forth with.
Him they didn't like each. Other maybe that's what he's talking.
(01:54:06):
About but it's not so much about this being legally
not something that That sneako should, do, Right, like no.
ONE i don't think anybody is in the comments being,
like oh they're gonna sue. You he's right at the
top of a text. Message there is no legal binding
when someone says confidential and, private don't. Share but it's
just the principle of, it. RIGHT i Think sneako's a
pretty principled. Guy this is a crazy SCREENSHOT i got my.
(01:54:28):
SORRY i think he's a pretty principled, guy AND i
think he would want others to do to him as
he does to. Others, now if he's all, like if
his old approach to this is they can get what
DO i owe? Them they didn't do anything nice for me,
whatever then all. RIGHT i just that kind of stuff
comes back. Around. Man you know you whatever you put
out in the, world the way you treat, people it
(01:54:49):
tends to come back and you get treated the same by.
Others So i'm not wishing that On. SNEAKO i just
think he needs to understand that there are other people
that are affected by that what he just. Did that
isn't just, him and he may not give a fucking that's,
fine but just know, that you, know when you burn
some of these, bridges which he's not seems like he's
perfectly fine, with it may end up being a bad
(01:55:09):
idea in the.
Speaker 14 (01:55:10):
Future quarter to three wait to be. Determined we should
discuss and come up with the fair. Solution so right,
NOW i weigh one. Sixty i'll probably fight a you,
KNOW i could fight a featherweight or lightweight if it's BY,
ufcmma obviously it's. Boxing BUT i weigh like one sixty
probably one sixty And.
Speaker 1 (01:55:26):
Bro he would fight. Down, yeah the fight isn't. Realistic
it would never happen Because tate walks around at like
two hundred pounds or maybe a little more like two.
Tens nico after he started training would probably lose even
more weight and get to like one fifty or like
one fifty. Five this fight would never.
Speaker 14 (01:55:43):
Happen you, know maybe there's gonna be a, counteroffer ah bran.
Speaker 1 (01:55:49):
Risk oh, Okay so he wants to use it to
leverage an offer For Aiden. Ross he wants to use
it to Leverage Aiden ross and the kick guys to
offer him more. MONEY i think that that's pretty well
known what brand risk is bringing, out AND i don't
think they're bringing out that kind of. Money maybe they
would Per sneako And Andrew, Tate but then, again if
you weren't going to do it for a, million how
(01:56:10):
many is it going to? Be two? Million you?
Speaker 5 (01:56:11):
Know?
Speaker 1 (01:56:11):
Three, like what was it going to? Be what's the
realistic offer going to be that you would because the
weight risk is, ridiculous the experience risk is. Nonsensical none
of it makes any sense For sneko outside of the money.
Speaker 10 (01:56:23):
One mills solo table make twenty to thirty mili it we'll.
Speaker 1 (01:56:26):
See twenty to thirty. MILI i don't know anybody At
misfits is Paying tait or anybody else twenty to thirty million.
DOLLARS i could be, wrong BUT i that's A these
kids have no, idea no context for the money being,
made and these kind of crossover cards because it ain't
that no one is MAKING i MEAN ksi With Jake
paul may make. THAT ksi With connor McGregor may make,
(01:56:49):
That but No Andrew tate for The chase To more
Fight No shot or even The snico Fight No.
Speaker 10 (01:56:54):
Shot, brother why leaked?
Speaker 1 (01:56:56):
This may?
Speaker 14 (01:56:57):
Wait got to keep things private and operate like a,
professional well.
Speaker 10 (01:57:03):
Respectful, okay a couple. Things, Yeah, ONE i can do
WHAT i. Want, TWO i don't oh misfits. Anything THREE
i don't.
Speaker 1 (01:57:11):
Know you can do what you. Want but you sound
like when you do, that, like, oh WELL i can
do WHAT i. Want, YEAH i, agree you can do
whatever you. Want you're a girl. Man but WHEN i
say you got to keep these things, PRIVATE i assume
you're operating is if you want to make the fight.
Happen when you do stuff like, this it makes people
not want to work with. You that's What i've been
in this. BUSINESS i know at anytime a promoter feels
(01:57:32):
like they've been taking advantage of or that they're trying
to be one up to by a, fighter that they're
not gonna want to do a deal with. You now,
again watching, THIS i don't Think snigo ever wanted to fight.
Tape but WHEN i say you got to keep these
things private and operate like a, professional this is me
trying to look out for a GUY i, like it's
nego to be like. Bro not to be, FAIR i
probably could have texted him, this BUT i just saw
(01:57:52):
it On twitter and was, like what The, yeah, dude
it wasn't me being, like, oh go to your. Room
it's more, like, dude if you actually want to do,
this you Know.
Speaker 10 (01:58:00):
I'm, ONE i can do WHAT i. Want, TWO i
don't Owe misfits. Anything THREE i don't know it take
anything For this is, also if you think about, it
a pretty good negotiation. Tactic five it.
Speaker 1 (01:58:12):
Gives it isn't, though this is NOT i mean not
if you want to fight On. MISFITS i don't know
anybody that blows up entire negotiations and leaks it to, go,
okay now what do you want and then expect them
to give you more, money you know WHAT i? Mean,
Like misfits is not gonna look at. That, Man taylor's
not gonna look at that and, go, oh, yeah you
really twisted our arm, here you know What i'm. Saying and,
yeah it creates, attention but not the kind that they,
(01:58:34):
want they're gonna be, like, no, dude we can't trust
in anything we tell you now is not gonna be
on the internet the next. Day or what if we
tell you the date the venue before it's confirmed and
you go and leak that or leak the next thing
and the next thing this is it becomes difficult to work,
with and in some points it becomes too difficult to work.
With i've known people Like Tommy fury who have done
not the same, thing but have been difficult to work.
(01:58:54):
With for other, people they just stop inviting him to do,
stuff and we want to See Tommy, Fury Jake. Paul
but Because tommy and his dad are so unrealistic and
Sometimes i'm, professional it makes it tough to do business
and we don't get the fights we. Want that's that's
WHAT i. MEAN i don't think That sneaker owes anybody.
ANYTHING i just think as someone that came into this, Thinking,
Okay sneako may actually want to, fight that's the last
thing you, do because then you don't actually get to
(01:59:15):
do WHAT i thought you wanted to.
Speaker 14 (01:59:16):
Do credibility to the fact that for people THAT i
was SAYING i was lying about to fight, SIX i
didn't sign anything LIKE i could just you, know what
is a?
Speaker 10 (01:59:26):
Change what is a? Change other?
Speaker 14 (01:59:27):
Not they're not gonna want to do it anymore, afterwards
and so what, LIKE i don't have? Anything what DO
i have to lose?
Speaker 10 (01:59:32):
Here what DO i?
Speaker 1 (01:59:33):
HAVE i don't you're LOOKING i think he's looking at
it the wrong. Way of, course if you didn't he's
saying what DO i have to? Lose because he didn't
he wasn't gonna want to fight. Anyway but what you
would have to lose if you continued on and actually
didn't want to fight is the trust of the promotion
in the organization for you to do things. Professionally and
now they probably, think, well, shit if this guy's gonna leak,
(01:59:54):
this how serious has he taken? This you, know will
he actually show up to? Fight what if he pulls
out of this? Fight what if SOMETHING X y that
type of, thing that's what you. Lose but watching this
video SNEAK o, AGAIN i think rightfully does not want
to Fight Andrew tait because it gives all the advantage
To taate And tait gets pretty much exactly what he,
wants which is beating the shit out Of, sneako AND
(02:00:14):
i don't Think sneako wants. THAT i don't want to
see that For, sneako and it doesn't make any sense
for him outside of the.
Speaker 10 (02:00:20):
NUMBER i think how much SHOULD i?
Speaker 14 (02:00:21):
Make and don't make chud jokes and just say a
bunch of shit like six, mil, okay two point five
mil won seventy five two point Five.
Speaker 1 (02:00:28):
At least kids Have oh my, god these kids have
no idea how this business, works or how really any business.
Works no offense to Sneak, o but a million dollars
is probably the top end for what he could, make
let alone what he should be making in his first.
Fight he can maybe get more right with the you,
see the sponsorship and everything, else and maybe maybe there's
this world Where snego gets two million in his first ever,
(02:00:51):
fight and maybe the market's so. Inflated now that's just
what it. Is And i'm not even trying to pocket.
Watch If snico gets two, mil if he gets five,
mil if you get ten, mil get your, bag, dude like,
Whatever but, realistically, dog come, on two point five a million's.
Crazy but, again it's not about the, money it's about
can he do it and have anything good come out
of it outside of the. Money and the answer is probably.
(02:01:12):
Know Unless tate slipped on the banana peel fucking forgot
how to, fight there's really no way he comes out
of that looking.
Speaker 10 (02:01:19):
Good three mail one eighty. Five, dude that's a lot
of weight to. Gain that's gonna take me a lot
of time to gain without. Steroids.
Speaker 1 (02:01:25):
Yeah by the, Way sneako's not getting to one eighty.
Five it would have to Be tate cutting to one
eighty or one seventy, five which is fucking.
Speaker 14 (02:01:30):
Brutal nobody in love speech even wants me to do.
This it's, LIKE i, Agree i'm actually. WISE i thought
way more people are gonna say. YES a lot of
people were texting me telling me to do.
Speaker 1 (02:01:37):
It whoever was Texting sneako and telling him to Fight
tate don't really Have sneako's. Back i'm gonna say that
if you told sneakote who Fight, tate you are not his.
Friend And i'll Text sneko after this and be, like
don't Fight Andrew. Tate that is a terrible. Matchup he
will hurt. You you will get nothing out of it
outside of the million, dollars and it will become a
(02:01:58):
meme on the. Internet do not do. That who ever
was on his phone, saying go fight, Him go fight, Him,
sneako they want to see you get knocked. Out get
rid of these, people.
Speaker 14 (02:02:06):
DUDE i see the difference between me and see TOP.
G i'd be fighting for money and. Potential aura takes
fighting for everything like that's His he's fighting for.
Speaker 10 (02:02:18):
Blood you. Know i'm just in there TO i want
to make some. MONEY i don't even need the.
Speaker 14 (02:02:22):
Aura like, WHAT i don't really THINK i gained UNLESS
i got a, knockout UNLESS i, win which on paper
is like what?
Speaker 1 (02:02:30):
Chance not Even And i'm not even trying to be
again mean or. Whatever But snko's never put, you never punched,
Anyone like, SERIOUSLY i know he's sparred and, whatever but
he's never had a. Fight the highest percentage chance is
like five five percent chance he wins that. Fight And
i'm only saying this Because snicko needs to hear the
truth from, somebody AND i like the. DUDE i Think
(02:02:51):
snico is a cool, guy. MAN i have every Interaction
i've had with, him he's a good, dude and someone
needs to tell him that this is probably only going
to get a one. Way no matter how much he
trained in six, months it is not. Enough he will
get hurt. Badly this is Why i'm, saying, yeah don't do.
This he already has this whatever aura game him And tator.
Playing snico has one up on. Him he Has tate
calling him out essentially Through. Misfit keep it that, Way
(02:03:14):
keep Making tate talk to, you keep Making tate come to,
you keep Making tate seem like he's desperate to get to,
you and you keep whatever this this you, know high
ground you have on him is you fall into fighting
him and you're not prepared for that and you can't
be in six months and he knocks you out cold
or makes a meme out of, you then all this goes, away,
right all this this high, ground all this top, geest all,
(02:03:36):
that all that goes. Away and Again snico doesn't need to,
fight but him in there with someone his own, experience
and it's a different. Story but, not don't do. THIS
i think he had one more.
Speaker 14 (02:03:44):
RESPONSE i posted you know what the offer, was and
all The misfits fighters are so, mad, Dude they're so,
mad and some of them are, like.
Speaker 10 (02:03:53):
Oh, sneeker there's just look at their. Profile, picture and
it's like a, dude like one of these profile.
Speaker 1 (02:03:57):
Pictures this is what's telling me you shouldn't be.
Speaker 10 (02:04:02):
Fighting sneko has no? Respect who the fuck is that?
Guy who the fuck is that? Guy? Nigga who are? You? Real?
Talk who are like these people that are mad about?
Speaker 13 (02:04:14):
This?
Speaker 10 (02:04:15):
You why would you do?
Speaker 5 (02:04:16):
This? What?
Speaker 4 (02:04:16):
Who?
Speaker 10 (02:04:17):
Nigga who are? You influencer boxing is not.
Speaker 14 (02:04:20):
The same as it was anymore because like all the
major influencer fights that would be interesting didn't, Happen so
it's just not the same or and it's, like if
your whole thing is being an influencer, boxer then you're
kind of in a trap because if you make that your,
identity then what's what's the? Appeal like there needs to
(02:04:40):
be an influencer and a. Boxer they're just boxers on influencer.
Speaker 1 (02:04:44):
Cards some of that's, true you ain't. Lying one of
the biggest things about crossover boxing that that you know
has kind of gone away a little, bit as guys
that were actual influencers taking up boxing while still, influencing
while still making their, videos still being in the you,
know topic of, conversation which is why guys Like tate
these other guys are needed if if they are going
to be a part of. It but that's not, wrong
and you know a.
Speaker 14 (02:05:04):
Lot of them are probably upset because the offer THAT
i got is probably higher than they're ever going to
make on that, organization.
Speaker 1 (02:05:10):
And that you, know that could be true as, well
because he got a crazy. OFFER i looked at.
Speaker 10 (02:05:15):
IT i kind of felt bad Because i'd be, Like
i'd be upset.
Speaker 14 (02:05:17):
Too imagine you're making you, know five to TWENTY k
for a, fight you have to do fight, camp you
got to pay your.
Speaker 10 (02:05:23):
Trainers say you make one hundred.
Speaker 14 (02:05:25):
K i even Saw chase some more responded to the
tweet and he's, like, ah, MAN i have no.
Speaker 10 (02:05:31):
WORDS i didn't think about. THAT i was, like oh,
man this guy probably what did he? Make he from his,
reaction it was probably.
Speaker 1 (02:05:39):
Less, YEAH i would, Agree i'm not turning to pocket Watch,
chase but it probably was less than a mill for.
Speaker 10 (02:05:44):
Sure and then you followed me shout out To. CHASE
i met him. Before good, guy BUT i was, thinking, like,
DUDE i would be so.
Speaker 14 (02:05:52):
Pissed imagine what it's like again for the for the
influencer boxer.
Speaker 10 (02:05:55):
Organizations WHEN i, post WHEN i post that and they're,
LIKE i don't THREE, k why is that fucking? Grifter
why is that grifter making A?
Speaker 14 (02:06:03):
Milli and then they go to start contract negotiating and
then they have these headaches and then there's a.
Speaker 1 (02:06:08):
Comparison that's another reason why it's again it doesn't involve sneak,
oh but that's another reason why you don't do. That
it's because now you put this organization in a tough
spot where they could use your numbers to leverage against other,
people and it's a it's a whole. Nightmare so that's
that frustrates, people all. Right so there it. Is, Man,
listen this is a whole lot of. NOTHING i don't
think That sneako was ever gonna Fight ANDREW t, eight
(02:06:29):
which is WHY i think he did. This and you
know his response to me being like he doesn't know anyone.
Anything he's, right, you SNEAK, O, no you don't owe
me or anybody else. ANYTHING i just if you do
ever want to do a you, know crossover, FIGHT i
want to be able to vouch for, you BECAUSE i
think you do bring numbers AND i think it'd be
an interesting. Thing but WHEN i have these conversations behind the,
(02:06:50):
scenes and you, know people Like man's and others now
probably don't trust. You it's gonna be very difficult for
me to do. That but DO i think this fight
made an senys to begin.
Speaker 5 (02:07:00):
With?
Speaker 1 (02:07:00):
No DO i Think sneako should do?
Speaker 5 (02:07:03):
It.
Speaker 1 (02:07:03):
NO i Think snico is in a very very good

(02:07:25):
because that would be just one, Sided tate doing whatever
he wanted and getting his quote Unquote aura back And
sneako shouldn't have to give him to, it but somebody.
