Girls podcast. We'll get right into our conversation after word
from our sponsors.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Hi.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
I'm Mecca Woods, and I'm on the Therapy for Black
Girls Podcasts today. I'm in session reflecting on twenty twenty
four and providing astrology insights for the new year.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
With so much happening this year, from the presidential election
to rat beef, we could all use an explanation for
why things went the way they did. More importantly, what's
next as we look to twenty twenty five? Helping us
to answer that question is returning guests Mecca Woods. Mecca
is a New York City based astrologer and author who
(01:45):
works to help others create a life they truly want
using their natural born gifts. Her writing and astro guidance
have appeared in places like Bustle, Essence, and TLC. In
our conversation today, we go back to twenty twenty three
to see how many of Mecca's predictions about twenty twenty
four were accurate, discuss how astrology can be used to
(02:06):
guide the success of businesses and companies, and lastly, share
some of the major astrological events and transits that will
influence our lives in twenty twenty five. If something resonates
with you while enjoying our conversation, please share with us
on social media using the hashtag TBG in session or
join us over in the sister circle. To talk more
(02:27):
about the episode, You can join us at community dot
therapyfro Blackgirls dot com. Here's our conversation. Well, welcome back, Mecca.
We are very happy to have you back for your
yearly visit here with Therapy for Black Girls to let
us know all about the star. So where have we been?
What can we look forward to in twenty twenty five.
(02:49):
But before we dig in completely, Lord Neil Herdson has
this beautiful quote that there are some years that ask
questions and some years that answer. So what would you
say twenty twenty four was for you? And what do
you think it was for the collective?
Speaker 3 (03:03):
I think for me this was a year of asking
more questions than answering them. And I think that had
a lot to do with just me personally just being
in a space what's next? Right, Like we've been through
all this upheaval and change over the last couple of years,
(03:24):
and I think for me looking ahead now, I'm just
thinking about, like, all right, how do I adapt to
some of these changes and what do I want my
life to look like going forward? And I think that collectively,
a lot of people are in the singing space. A
lot of people are kind of wondering, all right, like
what else you know, Like what else is coming down
(03:46):
the pipeline that's in the air. And I think people
are looking for something that's a little bit more concrete
and grounded and stable.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
So what in the stars would we look to for
that mecca for like that sense of stability, Like where
might we look to find it.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
So I think for the New Year, I mean when
we talk about the planet's usually Saturn is the planet
that often offers like a sense of like structure and
stability and grounding. But I think that Saturn currently being
in the sign of Pisces and Pisces being a sign
that's very foggy and nebulous in some ways, that has
(04:25):
contributed to some of that soul searching and some of
the uncertainty that people have been feeling. In the New Year,
Saturn is going to be changing signs. But I think
that in terms of stability, Jupiter and Cancer I think
will offer a little bit more so. Jupiter is a
planet that has to do with growth and opportunity. It's
(04:45):
kind of the Santa Claus planet in astrology. It brings
gifts and good luck. And with cancer, cancer is a
sign that has to do with family, home, home life.
Cancer is associated with the feminine so often like women, mothering,
nurturing that kind of energy. So I think in terms
of stability or groundedness, it's really going to come from
(05:09):
our rootedness to like our ancestry, our rootedness to our families,
to each other. It's going to be a rootedness in
terms of also, I think when we talk about jupitership,
but it is also connected to like our faith and spirituality.
So having an anchor in that realm, I think is
also going to be helpful for navigating some of the
(05:30):
ups and downs that are coming up for the new year.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Okay, okay, So in our last couple of episodes, we
talked about like the Big six and personal planets. But
I've also recently learned that businesses can have a chart
of their own. So can you talk to me about
like how your business or organization has a choice and
then how you can use it to make decisions.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
Sure, So this is when we start talking about electional astrology,
which is a branch of astrology for when we are
sole electing dates like the most auspicious dates to get married,
to start a business, to have surgery done. So when
we talk about business astrology, the chart for a business
(06:12):
will be dependent upon when the day and time, the
year that the chart was started or launched, and whatever
that chart says will often incorporate both the strengths and
the challenges of a business, which is why sometimes when people,
if they're aware of astrology, they will often try to
(06:34):
select the most auspicious timing for their business. But I've
also talked to like business owners who didn't really have
go awareness of astrology, and they selected a chart and
maybe the chart wasn't as strong as it could be,
and then they're like, okay, like how do I you know,
like how do I work with this? And I find
that sometimes you can actually work with astrology if you're
trying to like relaunch a business or like rebrand a business.
(06:58):
And that's where, like electional astrology can be helpful too,
like selecting a new chart.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Okay, so recently Pluto exited Capricorn and entered Aquarius. Can
you talk about the significance and who's most impacted by this?
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Yes, So Pluto is one of the generational outer planets, right,
So when we talk about like the outer planets like Pluto, Uranus, Neptune,
I would even to some degree throw Saturn in there.
These are planets that their orbits are really slow. They
take a very very long time for them to make
a full orbit around the Sun. And so because they
(07:33):
move so slowly, they affect us in terms of like
generational events or things that happen mostly like on the
collective or kind of global scale in an individual's life,
like Pluto is still active in it for like an
individual person in terms of like the area of life
that Pluto might be affecting. So we talk about what
(07:55):
Pluto represents. Pluto is a planet that is often associated with,
you know, profound change. It could be associated with profound loss,
but with profound loss there is also a room for
healing and rebirth and regeneration as well. So after this
put on in Capricorn, was it fifteen years we had
(08:17):
put on Capricorn And Capricorn is a sign that's often
associated with authority figures, government, law enforcement, big business, right,
And we've seen how with Pluto, like there was a
lot of those entities amassed a lot of power. Pluto's
also known for showing like where there can be abuses
(08:40):
of power, and we've seen that. We also seen the
ways of which power can be used for good things.
But now that Puto is in the sign of Aquarius,
Aquarius is connected to like the everyday person. Aquarius is
connected to community and groups of people. Aquarius shows us
like how we can embrace our individuality while also being
(09:05):
a part of something bigger and so now that Pluto
is an Aquarius for good, because we did have like
a brief period of that like earlier in the year
before it went back to Capricorn. But what you're going
to see is a lot of like everyday people pushing
back against some of the corruption and the abuses of
(09:25):
power against some of these when you say, like you
can't fight city hall, you're going to see people actually
trying to fight city hall in very literal ways, right,
Like I think we've already been seeing that, Like just
over the past couple of weeks, there's been like issues
with governments being toppled. We've seen every day people fighting
(09:46):
back against like people in positions of power, corporate executives,
people who have a lot of influence and clout. So
we're that's going to be continue to be a theme.
And where that's encouraging is I think it's shown people
that they do have some power, that it doesn't have
to be just a thing of just sitting back and
just taking things as they are. That we in our
(10:08):
own individual way, in our own unique ways, depending on
what we're good at or what we feel called to,
we can all gather in and participate in creating some
of the change that we want to see. Now. The
only downside, right, there's both the two sides of the
coin here, is that you're also going to have people
(10:28):
who feel disenfranchised or feel disempowered, which we've seen with
the whole Trump winning the White House again, where there's
a group of people who feel like they're losing power
and they're trying to hold onto it, and where you
see these sort of classes taking place. So they give
you some context of that Pluto and Aquarius story too.
(10:51):
The last time Pluto was an Aquarius, we saw the
American Revolution. We also saw the French Revolution, and we
also saw the Haitian Revolution. This was a time where
people were like retired of the status quo and we
want to push back, and so that can have both
positive and negative effects. So it's just about what side
(11:11):
of the coins do we want to be on, right,
Like what court do we want to play, So that
that's the background there.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Okay, So something else that happened this year is that
Uranus entered into Taurus this year. So can you point
to any moments where you feel like you've seen like
the effects of this most Clearly.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
Taurus is often associated with money and finances, and we've
seen like cryptocurrency be a big thing, right. We saw
how like cashless payments like Venmo cash app like they
became bigger, right, So we saw that. We also saw
fluctuations in the market, right, very like high highs and
(11:51):
low lows, which is a very Uranian uronis kind of thing,
because Uranus represents like sudden and erratic changes, like an instability.
So we saw a lot of that, ye. So, and
then also I think in terms of like food and agriculture,
which is another tourist thing, we've seen a lot of
Jurassic changes with that and trying to figure out I
(12:12):
don't know, I think right now it's more of trying
to figure out, like where do we go from here
with respect to food safety, food security, those kinds of things, right,
So yeah, I would say that that's what I've seen
so far. Something that I thought about as you were
talking Mecca, is there's a recall on some other food
or some industry, is like, there's some accident that's happened,
(12:33):
and what's happening here? So what in the stars might
you point to to talk about like the issues that
we may be seeing there. Yeah, So I would say well,
there's a couple of different things. Some of it definitely
was attributed to Plitter and Capricorner because again when we
talk about a lot of these big businesses, big agriculture,
big tech, all of those those kinds of entities, as
(12:55):
they've amassed more power, they've also gotten through certain loop poles.
I also think when we talked about Neptune. So there's
a big emphasis on Pisces right now because we have
Saturn there, and Saturn will be in Pisces although it
takes a brief break next year, it will officially finish
its transit when we get to February of twenty twenty six,
(13:17):
right But with Saturn and Pisces, we also have this
emphasis of Neptune. When you combine those planets, Saturn being
the planet of regulation and Neptune being the planet that
can sometimes cause like confusion or like kind of dissolve
things as well. That has a lot to do what
(13:38):
we've been seeing with respect to like the food recalls
and this uptick of like infectious diseases and things like that,
And that's going to be a continuation as we go
into twenty twenty five. With the Pisces and Virgo eclipses
that are coming up in the new year. So we
already had the first eclipse of this cycle that started
(13:58):
back in September, So September seventeenth, twenty twenty five, we
had a big full moon eclipse in Pisces. And the
next year March will have eclipse in Virgo. Then we'll
have two more eclipses in September of twenty twenty five,
when in Virgo and when in Pisces and whatever you
(14:19):
have eclipses. Clipses always bring change. Change can be good,
but it can also reveal a lot of stuff that
needs to be changed, which can be daunting and challenging
and frustrating. And so when we talk about Virgo, Virgo
is a sign that is often associated with like essential workers,
(14:40):
the people who operate like the factories and the supply chain,
people who work in healthcare and medicine, like the people
will essentially keep our society running. And you're going to
see like we've already kind of seen like some of that,
like with the guys who worked the docs and worked
with the supply chains, like they had wanted to strike right,
(15:03):
that was a big thing. So we might see more
of that coming up. I know a lot of healthcare
workers are very burnt out and have been very burnt
out since the way that the pandemic was handled or mishandled,
So that's going to be a continuation. And also Virgo
also has to do with harvesting, right, harvesting crops and
things of that nature, and how we store and supply
(15:24):
our food, and we've seen that's already being an issue.
So when we talk about prices in virgo, they go
hand in hand with each other, even though they're opposite signs.
So we're going to continue to see a lot of
these things unfold in the new year with respect to
our mental health, our spiritual health, our physical well being,
these sort of like underpinnings of society in terms of
(15:47):
like how everything is held together. And I think that yeah,
like I said, we're still in the process of change,
and I think we're going to be doing a lot
of trying to find solutions for a lot of these
problems that have been coming up as a late And is.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
There something that you would suggest for people Mecca for
like how to either prepare or things people should consider
as we think about like the eclipses we'll have in
twenty twenty five.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
Yes, that's a great question. So I think in terms
of preparation, I think that this is a time to
think about what.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
How can I put it.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
I think it's a good time to think about your
finances right and being a little bit more strategic about
like how you're spending your dollars and where those dollars
are going. I think that when we talk about some
of the change that needs to happen and where we're
going from here, I think some of it is going
(16:51):
to have to do with like our spending power specifically,
Like you know, we talk about black women because a
lot of times people look to us to solve problems
and to come up with solutions, but when it comes
to how we're treated, we're often left with the short
end of the stick. And so I think for black women,
as we think about how to take care of ourselves,
(17:14):
a lot of it is going to be thinking about
being more strategic about where we're spending our money. I
think it's also going to be about, like I was
saying earlier, about fortifying our mental and spiritual well being
to get through some of the challenges that are going
to be coming down the pipe. And that's the pisy
side of things also too. You know, when I think
about Virgo, like that Virgo piscey dynamic. I also think
(17:37):
about work life balance, and I think that you know
what they say about like how black women can be
like the mules of the world. I think this is
a time for some of us to think about putting
down our capes for a while and really taking a
step back and thinking about, like how we want to
(17:59):
invest in our communities or invest in our future without
it becoming such a huge undertaking. I think that that's
going to be part of what we should be thinking about,
and of course some of the other things, like some
of the more basic things about like thinking about emergency
preparation and thinking about just like basic things that we
(18:22):
can do to brace ourselves for the different changes and
fluctuations and challenges that are coming in going into the
new especially living under this new administration.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
Yeah, so, I mean so, I think that's a beautiful segue,
though that not the topic necessarily, But we can't think
about like twenty twenty four and what twenty twenty five
will mean without thinking about like this election season. And
I think it's interesting that you just talked about as
we move into twenty twenty five under these eclipses, and
how black women in particular needs to think about, Okay,
(18:56):
how can we take the cape off? And I feel
like that has been an interest in response that black
women have had in response to this election, right, but
it sounds like astrologically that may have been the case
regardless of the outcome of the election. So can you
say more about like where black women are finding themselves
post election and astrologically the things that you're pointing out
(19:19):
about needing to kind of rest and take a step back.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
Yeah, I think that for a very long time there's
been a lot of responsibility placed on us too, I
don't know, save people, you know, And I think that
for a very long time. I know that, Like when
I would talk about these kinds of things to people,
like in my own circle, a lot of times I
(19:44):
would talk about how like it just it wasn't fair
for this kind of responsibility to be solely like on
our shoulders. If we're going to have change, like true change,
everybody has to be involved. It can't just be one
group of people or marginalize people who are the ones
who are constantly pushing for change, and that change never coming.
(20:07):
So I think what's going to happen is that because
black women are starting to recognize like, hey, I don't
have to pick up this mantle, right like I can
take a step back, I can take a break, I think, Well,
my hope is that it will push other people to
step up. That That's what I hope. Even as I
was thinking about like Kamala Harris becoming president and the
(20:31):
possibility of that, I was even thinking like, Okay, here
again we have a black woman who's coming to clean
up the mess. And I also had concerns about how
much she would actually be able to do based on
you know, who she is and the policies and things
like that, and whether or not she would have support
that she needed to actually get things done. It's just
(20:54):
a lot there. So now that that has passed, and
now we're working with this new administration, which is already
said from day one, you know that they want to
make all these like drastic, harmful changes. I think, like
I said, what I hope will happen is that it'll
push other people to step in and pick up some
(21:14):
of the slack rather than them constantly looking to us
to be the rescuers.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
More from our conversation after the break, But first a
quick snippet of what's coming up next week on TVG.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
A practice that I love is like even just a
hand on the heart, affirming yourself right, reminding yourself like,
this isn't the end. Sometimes you can feel like it's
the end of those moments. Ah, I didn't get it
done the first week in January. My whole year is over.
It's like no, Actually, in each and every moment, we
have an opportunity to try again. So remembering that each
and every moment we have an opportunity to try again,
(21:52):
and it's not the end, it's the beginning.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
So I want to revisit some of the predictions that
you made here when we last visited. The last time
when you were here, you mentioned that Jupiter entering Gemini
in May twenty twenty four and the luck that it
would bring. So where have you seen that show up
culturally this year?
Speaker 3 (22:29):
So I think Jupiter and Gemini, you know, it makes
me think about Kendrick Lamar, who actually happens to be
in Gemini, who came in and brought in like our
anthem for like the gear, right, they not like us?
So it was nice to see a little bit of
(22:49):
like creativity and people talking about music again the way
that we used to, because I feel like that was
kind of missing. I think that just in terms of
people being a little bit more curious and kind of
open minded to things, I think that that was the
some of the gifts that I was seeing with Jupiter.
But I think the challenge is so it's funny because
(23:09):
when we start talking about like the planets and like
the signs that they're in or visiting, each planet has
a sign that it feels really good in, Like when
you wear something that you that really looks good and
it's tailing and it fits well, and you're like, yes,
you're confident in it. That's how sometimes like certain planets
can feel when they're in a sign that they really
love or they enjoy. Then there are signs that planets
(23:33):
can be in that they don't really feel so confident in, right,
Like they put on the outfit and it doesn't fit
or it's too tight. It's just weird, right, And that's
Gemini for Jupiter. Like, Jupiter is not a planet that
is comfortable being the sign of Gemini, because Jupiter tends
to be about big picture stuff and Gemini is about
(23:55):
little picture more like detailed stuff, and so when you
put the two together, the positive side can be like
being like more curious about things and trying new things
and things like that. But it can also be too
much information, right, And I think that was a big
thing that we had, right, just information overload, a lot
of people saying things not really knowing whether it's true
(24:17):
or not. Right. I think one of the things that
I've been thinking about a lot, especially with planet Uranus
about to move into Geminia next year beginning in the summer,
is just the ways in which we get information and
how we engage with it, and media literacy, I think
is something that's lacking, especially here in the States, where
(24:39):
I can be on Facebook or something or Instagram or whatever,
and I see people smart people who are sharing things
that are like AI generated but they don't know that
it is just spreading, like the way in which misinformation spreads, right.
So I would say like those are probably like the
more negative sort of things that I saw with Jupiter
and German, which I'm hoping may change for the better
(25:03):
once Uranus gets there, because Guronnis is connected to like
change as well. But yeah, that's what I saw.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
Yeah, And you know, and I think Mecca, a lot
of what I am picking up from people is like
just this real sense of hopelessness and like it feels
like we're fighting in like nothing's changing. And so I
wonder if there's anything that you can speak to thinking
about astrologically for twenty twenty five that might offer people
some sense of hope or you know, like something to
(25:32):
hold on to, to give them something to look forward to.
Speaker 3 (25:35):
Yeah, So with that Saturday and Neptune and Pisces story,
and even as Saturn in Neptune transition out of Pisces
and visit areas for a few months, for the next year,
Neptune will be in areas from March thirty to October
twenty second, and then Saturn will be in areas from
May twenty fourth to September first. So whenever you have
(25:57):
Saturday in Neptune traveling together, there can be an overwhelming
sense of hopelessness. That's one of the challenges with those
planets being together. And so wherever Saturn is, we kind
of have to work at something. And so basically when
I think about Saturday Neptune is like we have to
work at hope that's kind of like the message to that.
(26:18):
And so when we talked about that community, I think
is going to be a key role in that. We
spoke about that a little bit earlier of like the
need to depend on one another, look out for one another,
to find hope in one another, right, rather than it
being this sort of like individualistic pull yourself up by
your bootstops. That doesn't work, that rugged individualism, that's a
(26:42):
big no. So I think we're really going to have
to rely on each other to keep each other's spirits
up right, and that could come through different avenues. It
could be creatively. It could be through having conversations like
you and I are having right now right, spreading awareeness
for things. It could be just doing things for fun,
(27:04):
right and having like connection with each other that way,
because everything doesn't always necessarily have to be centered around
organizing and activism rate. It could be just for leisure,
for play, creativity, things like that. So I think that
as we think about like what we can look forward to,
I think that it's really going to be about like
(27:26):
just really actively seeking out that hope, actively seeking out
the joy, actively seeking out each other and holding space
for one another.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
Okay, so I want us to get a little bit
more granular and talk a little bit about like how
the signs will be supported and challenged for in twenty
twenty five, and are there like particular months or planetary
movements that each one should look out for. So for
the Earth signs for Capricorn, Virgo, and Taurus, what challenges
should they prepare for and where might they feel particularly supported?
Speaker 3 (28:00):
Sure, so when we talk about support and challenges, oftentimes
I'm looking at like support being Jupiter and the challenge
being you know, Saturn. So with Jupiter in cancer, Taurus
is going to be supported through learning and education. So
this could be a good time in terms of taking
classes and workshops, investing in learning opportunities. It could be
(28:22):
a great time for working on new ideas, you know, networking,
meeting new people. It can also be really good for
just being curious, you know, like allowing your curiosity to
kind of like take over and leave you to new things.
I think Taurus is also going to benefit from Jupiter
in cancer in terms of having a more positive mindset
(28:43):
about things and also to like communication. So if you
work in like media, if you work in education, if
you you know, are doing something that requires you to
market yourself or to promote yourself if you're doing any
like writing or research projects, this is where you're going
to be supported in terms of challenges. So I think,
(29:05):
you know, with Saturn and nuptun in areas that's going
to be in the part of tauruses, the zone in
their life that has to do with endings and letting go.
Tourists is are not very good at letting go, So
that's where they're going to be challenged to learn how
to let go of control, to trust in the process
of surrender, which basically means like focusing on what you
can control versus what you can't, right, and I think
(29:28):
that they're going to also have to work on issues
with like ruminating on the past, rooting on the past,
anxiety like these might be some areas to be mindful of.
So and then also money, money might be a bit
in flux, so they might want to just be a
little bit more conscientious about where their money is going.
(29:49):
As for virgos, so virgos you know are going to
be affected by the Virgo prices eclipses the for the
new year. They may already be feeling that already, and
so when we talk about the clim in virgo that's
going to be affecting their sense of self and their
self image, so that kids, when we talk about like
the challenges there, you know that could be like challenges
(30:11):
with self doubt, challenges with a lot of times virgos
like to do things themselves because they don't really trust
anybody else to do it. And so with that pisces,
the piss's energy is going to be supporting their relationship zone.
So where they're going to be supported is through partnering
with others, collaborating with others, learning how to ask for
(30:34):
help and support from others, learning how to step back
and recognize that they don't always have to be the
fixers or the go to people for everybody, right giving
themselves a break because one of the things about going
through eclipses is that when eclipses visit your sign, especially
in a challenging way, they can zap your bandwidth, So
(30:56):
you may not have a lot of bandwidth for things
or energy for things. You have to be very careful about,
like what you're saying yes to. So I think virgos
who are used to being super busy and active are
going to have to kind of slow down a bit
and be a little bit more thoughtful about what they're
investing their time and energy in. But the good news
(31:16):
is that there can be some support from their community
and the people around them to help them carry some.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Of that load.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
Okay, And then with respect to Capricorn, Capricorns will get
support so that Jupiterian cancer is going to be in
their relationship and partnerships all so that can mean partnership growth.
If you're already in existing partnership, especially you know, like
a marriage or a committed partnership, you might be growing
with your partner, or if there's problems, there can be
(31:48):
improvement within relationships. And then also too you might find
that there will be more people willing to step in
and help you with things rather than you just having
to rely on yourself. In terms of challenges, I think
that's going to come up with respect to home and
family stuff. There might need to be physical changes or
repairs made in the home. There could be some challenges
(32:10):
with respect to like family and family dynamics. Maybe added
responsibility in terms of having to take care of a
family member. That could be a thing, which is why
having help from others is going to be so important.
So yeah, so I think and then also too, like
with that Saturday and Neptune in areas, not only will
you know, we're talking about like the challenges in the home,
but also like working on overcoming maybe childhood trauma or
(32:36):
working on like self parenting stuff.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
Yeah, okay, what about for our air signs, so Aquarius, Gemini,
and Libra.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
Yes, So for Geminis, So Geminis have been getting some
support from the universe with Jupiter being there now. So
a lot of the Geminis that I've been seeing, like
in my own circle, will have been getting some support
with respect to career and like opportunities, you know, money
and things like that. So in the new year, that
(33:11):
growth is going to continue. There's going to be a
continuation of that growth and support the eclipses. So when
I was talking about the Virgo Pisces eclipses, the mutable
signs like Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pissy are going to
be affected the most strongly over the next year. So
for Gemini, that's going to be in their career zone,
(33:31):
so that that leads opportunity for recognition, maybe a new
promotion of some sort or a new job. I think
in terms of challenges, what Gemini is going to have
to watch out for, especially when Uranus gets to their sign,
is that they're going to have to make sure that
their creative for change or excitement doesn't override their common
(33:52):
sense sense. So they're going to have to be very
careful or thoughtful i should say, about choices or decisions
that they're making that they're not leading to more trouble
down the line just because they're like, I want something new,
I want something fresh. But you know, Uranus can be
nice or supportive in terms of helping them to make
a change, maybe in a new direction or a lifestyle
(34:13):
change or things like that, but they will have to
be a little bit cautious about like how they go
about it. Okay, and then for our libras, So libras
have been going through a rough time because we you know,
since twenty twenty three we've had the eclipses and areas
and libra and libras have haven't had it so easy.
So some of them is going to change. So being
(34:36):
that the eclipses have helped libras to kind of clear
out some of the old stuff that was logging them down,
the new year is going to provide more support for
them with response to like career advancement, recognition, favor in
terms of getting favor from the public, or like authority
figures and things like that. I think too, or Libra
(35:00):
with Saturday and Neptune in areas is going to be
in their partnership and relationship zone, so that could work
two ways. It can help them with dissolving relationships that
aren't growing or maybe there's a there's an imbalance or
a lack of reciprocity or fairness in terms of those relationships.
But they can also help them with strengthening relationships that
(35:23):
they have or improving them in some way or overcoming
the fear of having, you know, getting support from other people.
So that can be a good thing. And then I
think with Uronus and Gemini that'll be covering their travel zone.
The summerfall could be a good time to kind of
like just take some trips to someplace new and just
(35:45):
check out the scene and see what that's about. And
then last, but not least, are Aquarius is so Aquarius
they're going through the Pluto transit and Pleuo transit can
be quite intense because they really make you confront the
worst parts of yourself, but in that there can also
(36:05):
be finding like the best parts of yourself too, right,
Like that can be part of that like transformation or
that rebirth. At the same time we talk about like support,
so that Jupiter and Cancer is going to be in
their health and wellness zone. So for them, they can
may find like if they've been dealing with like a
(36:27):
health issue, maybe that can improve.
Speaker 1 (36:31):
They may be.
Speaker 3 (36:32):
Able to find an easier time in terms of like
finding employment or work or maybe work their work life
sort of improving quality of life can improve at this time,
so that's where they can find some support. Uronness and
Gemini is also going to be in their zone of
fund and creativity, so this could be a good time
(36:54):
for them to like experiment creatively, try new things, even
within risk within the realm of like sex and dating.
They might find themselves being a little bit more experimental
or adventurous in that realm as well, So that's where
some good things can come in. In terms of challenges
that Saturday Neptune energy, it can work out that they
(37:16):
may be more serious or heavy minded than usual, which
it will have to kind of be be mindful of that.
The positive aspect of that is that it can help
them with working on communication issues or building up their
skill set. If they have an idea that they're trying
to push through or bring to fruition, that Saturday and
(37:37):
Neptune energy can help them with that and also to
some degree, like help them with overcoming like some fears
that they might have.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
Okay, more from our conversation after the break, what about
our water sign, So school Pisces and cancer, Yes.
Speaker 3 (38:02):
So cancer, you're getting Jupiter. So Santa Claus is coming
to visit you in the new year. So even though
Christmas you know, is about to go you know, we're
about to have Christmas that's about to go back, You're
gonna have a year long Christmas when Jupiter gets to
cancer on June ninth, So it takes about a year
(38:23):
for Jupiter to stay in a sign. So between now
and twenty twenty six, you'll have Jupiter working on your behalf.
And so what does that mean is that you'll feel
more confident, more willing to take risk or take chances
on things. You will feel more optimistic about life. Jupiter
also brings protection as well, So when we talk about
(38:46):
like that protective energy, perhaps that could play out. Just
to give you an example, Let's say your company is
downsizing and maybe other people are being let go, but
maybe you're you're the person who gets to stay right
like back or or if you do decide the lead,
you're leading on your own turn rather than being forced
out right like That could be one way that JUP
can protect you just having more personal growth personal growth
(39:09):
and development. This is a good time to invest in yourself.
I think a lot of cancers take care of the
people that they love, but this is a good time
to kind of invest in yourself and to think about
some things that new, things that you want to try
or do. As far as challenges, so I mentioned career
that could be a place where there could be some
(39:30):
like out of responsibilities or maybe like problems with like
authority figures and things like that. But wherever you have
like saturn, traveling in the chart or visiting your chart
is also an opportunity for like accomplishment right and being
able to reap the rewards of your hard work. So
(39:52):
if you've been really working hard and putting in the hours,
this can be a time where you might start to
see some like results of that. The other thing too,
is that with that Saturday up tune. In their career zone,
some cancers might decide that they're already you know, they're
done with whatever profession that they're in and they want
to like, let's say, if they've been a lawyer, they're like, actually,
(40:12):
I think I want to be an artist. Or if
they've been working in a particular field and that field
is just not cutting it anymore, they might decide to
go in a brand new direction and that could be
a positive thing challenging, but it can also be positive too, Okay,
And then are scorps scorpios, So you'll have jupidan cancer
(40:33):
in your travel zone, your travel and growth zone. So
in the new year, think about places that you want
to visit, places that you want to travel to. It
can also be a good time for investing in your education,
you know, whether it's you know, taking workshops or trainings,
going back to school. If you're already in school, maybe
this could be the year that you finally get your
degree and you can like, you know, move on from
(40:54):
that part of your life. Publishing and media is also
covered in that area of your life. So if you're
an author or a writer and you have a project
that you're working on. If you're a filmmaker, this can
be a time where you might see some real progress
with these kinds of projects that you might be working on.
More optimism, which you know scorpios, it's a big deal
(41:16):
because Scorpios tend to look at like, all, right, where
do I need to like be prepared in case things
go wrong? Like a lot of Scorpios often anticipate like
things possibly going wrong, And so I think with Jupiter
being in cancer it could be really good for them
in terms of like being just being a little bit
more hopeful about things, which we need right now because
(41:38):
everything is so so dark in terms of challenges, I
would say, I think we spoke about this before, but
Scorpios tend to push themselves, like they will run themselves ragged, right,
especially if they have like a mission or you know,
a job something that they're a goal that they're trying
to accomplish. But with Saturday and Neptune, you know, affecting
(42:01):
their wellness health and wellness zone, this might be a
time where they might have to do what they can
to fortify their health and well being, and that might
be like eliminating certain sources of stress or making sure
that they're not overworking or over taxing themselves, right, so
learning like how to reprioritize certain things so that they're
(42:23):
not burning themselves out. And then last one, at least Pisces. Pisces,
you have the Pisces eclipses working on your behalf right now.
So even though Saturn is there right now, a lot
of Pisces that I've been seeing are kind of in
a place where they're like getting more serious about themselves
and their lives and their goals and really like putting
(42:46):
their noses to the grindstone right now to try to
make those things come to pass. But with the eclipses
also helping them, this can be a really wonderful time
between now and the next eighteen months. This can be
a really wonderful time for like professional advancement, personal growth,
more confidence, and when I say confidence, more like just
(43:09):
coming from within versus looking externally for like validation or
anything like that. This is a time for like Pisces
to be on top, so there's some good energy coming
through for piess. Their romantic life will also benefit from
Jupiter in cancer. If you're looking for love or you
want to date more or improve your sex life, Jupiterian
(43:31):
cancer will be helping you there. Also, creative energy is
also going to be really strong for Pisces. And if
you work with children or if you're trying to start
a family, Jupiteran cancer can also benefit you there. Or
also like if you already have children, Jupiteren cancer can
help you with like just enjoying them more. So, so
that could be really nice. Yeah, I think just where
(43:53):
they're going to have to watch out in terms of
the challenges with that Virgo eclipses hitting their relationship zoneses
may be walking away from relationships or breaking up with
folks both personally, romantically or professionally if those relationships aren't
like sustaining them or supporting them in any way, if
(44:14):
they're not growing. And I think for Pisces two is
also going to be just about learning how to be
more discerning about who they let into their life, because
they can be really trusting, so learning how to be
a little bit more cautious or thoughtful about like who
they partner with or connect with. I think this is
going to be really helpful too.
Speaker 1 (44:34):
All right, So last but not least our fire sign
so Aries Leo and Sagittarius.
Speaker 3 (44:41):
Yes, so arias are still riding and high because they
had a lot of support from those areas liber eclipses
that we had starting back in twenty twenty three. So
next year we have one final eclipse in areas that'll
be in March, and so you know, whatever areas have
been working on up until this point in terms of
like their personal success their personal growth, that's going to continue.
(45:04):
I will say though, with Saturn and Neptune entering their
sign next year, they will have to probably be a
little bit more mindful about some of their choices or
their decisions. Saturn in Neptune is going to ask them
to be a little bit more cautious because areas typically
tend to be very much like, let's go right now,
(45:25):
let's make it happen. They tend to be very confident
and sometimes to some degree like they can be impulsive
when they make choices or decisions. So they're going to
have to be a little bit more thoughtful about they
what they do and making sure that they're not like
just kind of jumping into things right without giving it
any thought. The other thing I think with areas, they
may struggle a little bit with like pessimistic thinking and
(45:49):
self doubt in the new year, so they're going to
have to work a little bit to combat some of that.
But I think the good things that they can have
to look forward to, definitely with Jupiter and cancer support
in their home and family life, there could be some
good things coming in. Like if you know, if you're
trying to move or relocate, buy a home, get a
new apartment, that could be something that could be beneficial
(46:11):
for you. If you're trying to expand your family, or
even for any areas who might be caretaking, like elderly
parents or someone in the family, there might be some
support or help coming in with that. And then relationships
with family, like if you want relationships with family to improve,
Jupiter can also help with that. But yeah, like I
(46:31):
said with that Saturday up too, they may be dealing
with some added responsibilities and their bandwidth may not be
super high, which is why they have to be a
little bit more thoughtful, But they have that supportive the
Eclipses coming in, so I think they'll be okay if
they can pace themselves. That's the thing where areas like
you gotta have to pace yourself. And then in terms
of Leo, Leo is going to be supported by Jupiter
(46:55):
in cancer in terms of spiritual growth and protections. This
is a really good time time to develop or strengthen
your spiritual practice. To develop and strengthen your intuition creativity
can improve under jupiteran cancer and also like your dream
So when we talk about this idea of spirituality and intuition,
you may get messages through dreams or your dream life
(47:18):
may be really active, so you might want to like
keep a notebook or dream journal to write down some
things as you go through the new year, and also
just thinking about like ways that you can like heighten
your spiritual pertection because I think as black women, black
folks in general, we all need that because there's a
lot of really negative energy in the air that we
have to be mindful of. And then I think one
(47:40):
thing is about Jupiter in cancer that I find it
has like a kind of a guardian angel kind of quality.
So just when you think things might not work out,
something happens that kind of changes the situation for the better.
So that could be something that can also happen. And
also too, like if you feel so inclined to like
get involved with like a good cause or or do
(48:00):
something for you know, the greater good. This can also
be a good time to do that. In terms of challenges, though,
I will say, you know, money might be a little
funny for Leo. So Leo's tend to have very extravagant,
carry champagne kind of tastes, which is nothing wrong with that,
but you know, over the new year, with the eclipses,
you know, kind of impacting your financial zone, I would
(48:22):
say you might want to be a little bit more
strategic about your coins and saving them and also to
like thinking about if the work that you're doing, being
mindful of doing more work for less that you have
to be careful of. But yeah, I would say, like
twenty twenty five, like if you pace yourself again the
(48:42):
fire signs, I think that's probably like one of the
big games with because fire signs is like let's just go,
let's just go, let's just make it happen. They're going
to have to take it very slow. Slow and steady
will win the race with any ideas or plans that
you have, So don't get discouraged, but just take your
time and plan accordingly. And then, last but not least,
(49:03):
my fellow Sagittarius, is we've been kind of going through
it because Saturday, that Pisces energy has been making us
more moody and emotional and reflective than usual, which is
not something that we typically like sad is like we
want to have a good time, but the energy feels
very much No, you have some inner work that you
(49:25):
need to do right now, and so that is going
to continue in the new year, where there may be
some stuff coming up from the past and you know,
family dynamics, maybe some mental health stuff that needs to
be worked on. Sometimes when we talk about Pisc's energy,
you know, in terms of a challenging way, it can
kind of be a contributing factor of depression, so an anxiety.
(49:48):
So that might be something that sagists might want to
seek support with in the new year, if they're not already.
But in terms of good things or supportive things to
look forward to, I would say this is a good
time to lean on the support of other people. Like
being able to kind of join forces or merge your
(50:08):
resources with others I think will be really helpful. And
when I think about merging resources, I think sometimes for
couples who are like moving in together or getting married,
or you know, things like that, you'll find support there
also thinking about like your investments, your savings, retirement for
one k is, emergency funds, like all of that, there
(50:31):
will be some support there for you as well. And
I think in terms of again when we talk about
home and family stuff I mentioned, I think I said
that there might be some stuff, some internal work to do,
but family can also be a source of support as well.
Having SAgs might find that they might be more in
a homebody space and like wanting to stay home and
(50:54):
not really party and go out. That's totally fine. Sometimes
you need a period of rest and relaxation, so leaning
into that. But I think in terms of like challenges,
there may be something with regards to like career transition
or change, so that might be a bit influx for
SAgs as they think about what they want to do
next or whether or not they're like in alignment with
(51:15):
their mission in life. So yeah, I think that we
covered everybody.
Speaker 1 (51:19):
Yeah we got everybody. I'm so grateful for like all
of the individualized Like, hey, here's kind of like a
bird's eye view of your sign for the year. But
you of course have other incredible resources that people can
tap into to go more in depth. So you have books,
you have readings that you still do. So can you
let us know your website and where people can find
(51:40):
the resources if they want to connect further.
Speaker 3 (51:42):
Sure, so you can find me at my website, mylife
created dot com. You can also book a session with
me there. I also offer a course that you can
take on your own time to basically learn a little
bit more about your chart if you're interested in figuring
out like I do offer a course my website and
you can you can purchase. I have a astrology journal,
(52:04):
So I find that journaling is really helpful for reflecting
on things and making plans and just kind of making
sense of like all the stuff that kind of goes
on in my head. And I know a lot of
people get a benefit from that too. But what's interesting
with this astrology journal is that it helps you to
identify like how the astrology is working in your life
in real time. And I also have like a bit
(52:24):
of a glossery in there with like different terms and
planets and things like that, so that people can know
what to look for. I think is a really good
resource to use if you're working with an astrologer like me,
or also if you like read your horoscopes and you
kind of want to know, like kind of keep track
of things as well, or if you like have any
of like the astrology apps. Time Passages is one of
my favorites to use. But yeah, if you pick up
(52:47):
that journal, I think it could be really helpful for
navigating the new year.
Speaker 1 (52:51):
Mm hmm. We would be sure to include the links
for all of that in the show notes. Thank you
