Two Teas in a Pod which Teddy Mellencamp and camera Judge.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of Two Teas and
a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
And Tamrad Judge. I just came in.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
New news came in. That's right.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
You probably would to be bothered by it, but it's
new news for us people in the industry. So Sony
Pictures has bought Alex Baskin's thirty two Flavors, which is
the production company that produces the Valley vander Pump Rules.
Real House at Beverly Hills. Real House was at Orange County.
(00:41):
So what does that mean for me? That's what I
said in a text.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
I said, Alex, congratulations.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
I go congratulations, But what about Housewives? Man?
Speaker 2 (00:53):
What are you doing?
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Because you know he was one of the original owners
of Evolution, right, so now Flavors, No, he sold that,
completely sold it, and then he sold that and then
he started another production company, thirty two Flavors, and he's like,
he's a production flipper at this point, the smart guy money. Yeah,
(01:14):
And then I was going to ask him how much
he got for it? How many millions you got for it?
But then I thought, No, it's a little too pushy.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Did it say who bought it?
Speaker 1 (01:22):
Sony Sony, Sony bought it? Which is so that's huge,
it's a big deal. So I don't know. I mean,
he will stay on obviously, that's usually what happens when
you sell a company like that. You stay on is
basically like a consultant for a certain amount of time
because nobody knows the show better than him.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Yeah, or the shows.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
So yeah, so some changes.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
But and I think something that not everybody knows that
watches Bravo. So not all of the Real Housewives shows
are produced by the.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Same people, right, it's not the same company.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
It's not the same company. So like the thirty two
Flavors may do Beverly Hills in Orange County, but there's
another company that.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Does Atlanta and all the other ones. Yeah, So basically,
Bravo hires a production company, the production company within with
Bravo hires the cast, production puts together, they sent it
to Bravo, Bravo nitpicks it. You know, I don't like
this or don't like that. So they they're like the middleman.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah, they're the middleman. Speaking of whatever happened to like
remember when Peacock was dropping episodes of things before anything else.
What do you mean, like, weren't we watching like housewives
on Peacock?
Speaker 1 (02:37):
No, so it goes to Bravo first and then the
next morning it goes to Peacock. The only one they
did that with originally was Miami. When they came back
the right straight to Peacock.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
I think they did Dubai too, right or not.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
I can't remember if Dubai was like that, But honestly,
I'm confused because I don't know if that's a good
thing or it hurts them, like is does Peacock? Is
it streaming get way more viewers than cable TV on.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
I heard another rumor, and this just has to do
with a network. I don't know if this is true,
but I read that ABC is going to put out
The Bachelor the Bachelorette.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Oh I read that too.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
I think that they were waiting to see what happened
with this trial and stuff that Taylor was going through,
and if it looked good for her, then they would
release it. I can'd I was waiting for things to
die down. There's no play it. I don't see any
reason not to play it.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Do you. Yeah, no, I want to see it.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
I don't watch that show, but I might watch it
just because of that.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
We're going to watch You don't think we're going to
watch it this season. I'm so good.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Okay, we'll watch it.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Please come on. I'm speaking of new shows. We've got
In the City season one, episode one, which we're recapping
right now. The show transition was a little odd.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
I have to say, I don't know where it's that.
We're one end in the other one started. But it
really doesn't matter because it's basically the same cast, not
the entire cast.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
But no, it really did to me. The cast really
it hit that that was a different cast.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Yes, but you know, we have some of the core people,
we have some of the car.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
But it show transitions to Kyle and Amanda in the
city and they're split. That happened four months after Summer
House season ten wrapped, in my opinion, which I could
be wrong to me. It starts once we see Amanda the.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Or oh she did even knock she had her own key.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Yeah, when she came in the house.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
And so just so everybody understands, I'm sure they do,
but this is after this was just this was filmed
in April, which was not too long ago. And this
was after the Amanda and West story broke.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Which is why we see Yeah, you see all that.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
So the one thing is is that and obviously In
the City was filmed in September, so this was way
after they went back. Cameras came back up. I thought
the cameras came back up for Summer House House, but
it was actually for in the City. Now, I would say,
Kyle is very calm through all this.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
He's very calm. And he said, like, I want, like
we see I mean, there's so many headlines saying West
and Amanda together. He's already gone on Watch What Happens
Live and shut down rumors about Amanda and West. Yeah,
West is on Watch What Happens Live saying the Amanda's
(05:31):
friend friend, and then the headlines pop up of West
and Amanda confirming their relationship. Yeah, so this happens all
in that matter of time. But Lamanda walks into the apartment,
she's got the dogs, she's got the key, and he's like,
Kyle immediately goes like, you're looking really skinny, are you okay?
Speaker 1 (05:50):
He's all, I'm worried about you, and she goes, I'm
worried about me too. Yeah, and they sit, they talk,
he you know, he questions her about, you know, watching back,
it seems like you had checked out and she was
getting upset. She's like, that's not true. I gave it everything.
I was trying so hard to make it work, and
(06:14):
she got offended by it. That was for sure.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
Well, let's go to the dates. It's April ninth, twenty
twenty sixth after Amanda and West confirmed their relationship right
on Instagram. Amanda stops by Kyle's house and then Kyle
is being so kind to her, but then at one
point he asks her like, I feel like this was
going on before I knew it, and that's where she loses.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Denies it, completely denies it, denies it, loses it. Amanda
tries to make Kyle feel and I feel like this's
a little gaslighting, that she desperately wanted the marriage to work,
that she was trying everything she could, and.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Maybe she was at some point, but she wasn't this year.
We weren't see we didn't see it.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
We did not see it. And then Kyle, after she
denies everything, Kyle asked, Amanda, were you having an emotional
affair with West, and Amanda replays, how dare you? How
dare you question my faithfulness.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
When you're the one that cheated, when you're and he's
And then at one point I was very confused because
she goes, and then you had a one night stand
and he goes, what And she goes, it was on video.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
You made out with a you made out with a girl.
And he's like, what are you talking about? And she's like,
I have it on video. He's like, okay, I can't think.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
He's like moving on, like he just took it, Like, yeah,
I think you didn't remember that.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
I knew that he'd be a total hypocrite because he
has not been faithful.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
Yeah, he has not been faithful. But do you.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
Think this scene helped Amanda in anyway? No, you don't
think it did.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
I don't think it did. I mean I think it showed.
I think the final season on I mean the final
episode on Summer House where Amanda says she doesn't feel
confident enough to be with al Kyle, like it's all
she's ever known, right, I think that helped her out
more than this per se.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
Yeah, I mean watching all the flashbacks of them, like
getting married and dating. She looked like a baby.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Yeah, she was like little, like she was a child.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
Yeah she's in her twenties. Yeah yeah she was. But
I mean, it's a it's a hard situation because yes,
Kyle hasn't been a great husband, and Kyle does like
to party, and Kyle has cheated, and now Kyle's the
hero because Amanda got with West and.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Well, Kyle's just kind of whole situation. I think Kyle realized.
I mean we read where did we read that they
haven't had sex in seven years?
Speaker 1 (08:40):
Yeah? He said it.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
He said it. Okay, so he said they haven't had
sex in seven years? Can you I don't believe that.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
I don't believe that. I believe it it because I
feel like they probably haven't had an active sex life.
So if you have sex less than ten times a year,
that's a non sexual relationship.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
My guess that they had not had sex and seven years. Like,
if I said I haven't had sex in seven years,
it means I haven't had sex in seven years. It
doesn't mean that.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
I Like sometimes guys exaggerate, like if they haven't had
it in a week, they're like, it's been like two months.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
So I have a friend who their problem was they
were not having sex, and like she really truthfully said
to me, like with tears in her eyes, we haven't
had sex in three years.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
That's insane.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
Yeah, So I think some couples like, once you get
out of the habit of having sex, you fully you're
not having sex.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
I mean, it definitely slows down as you get older,
that's for sure, and the longer.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
You're slowing down is different. But I don't just like that.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
I could never say in my entire life that has
ever happened to me ever.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Ever, No, I've been through two years of cancer and
I can't say I haven't had sex for seven years.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
I can definitely say things have slowed down, that's for sure.
You know, you go through ups and downs, and.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
But you gotta imagine how Eddie would feel. We can
only talk about Eddie because he's the only one of
a certain relations and ship with But how Eddie would
feel if you didn't have sex with him for seven years,
even if he did.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
He wouldn't put up with it, Like he wouldn't like
he would be like, there's a problem.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
But I think that's where you know, we saw multiple seasons.
One season where she wanted to move home, one season
where she was having some mental health issues. We've seen
a lot of Amanda going through stuff, and I think
it might be Amanda going through stuff because of her
issues with Kyle. Do you think they never talked about
them not leading up till now?
Speaker 1 (10:34):
Do you think they just stayed together because of the show.
I think they.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
Stayed together because they became best friends.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
I think they stayed together because they became friends. They
they were comfortable. Yeah, And even though is that uncomfortable
as it looked for us to watch, I think that's
what's there. Comfortable.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
They probably just lived totally separate lives.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
Yeah. I mean he said she would be in bed
all day and he would be out doing stuff, and
then they would come. You know, I'm not blaming her
for the demises.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
No, I think that they grow apart a long time ago.
They probably in the first place she had never gotten married.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Yeah. I mean when Edwin and I would go through
our stages where you know, he would step out on me,
I would completely play dumb, shut down.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
And just like yeah, because you're afraid if you bring
it up, then your relationship's over. And then you got
to start all over and you have kids, and it's
a scary situation.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Yeah, so it's just.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
Play dumb, turn your eye to it, you know, a.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
Lot of like like there's a couple of conversations about it,
but then you just drop it and you move on
with your life. And like, I think that that's.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
That's a healthy way to do it.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
But oh no, I'm not saying that. Yeah, I think
I I'm not the epitome of health when it comes
to any situation.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Now, then, you know, we rewind is seven months prior.
Now we take it back to September twenty twenty five,
and this is when they actually did start filming in
the city, and we're at Lindsay's apartment, which is absolutely
(12:20):
bit beautiful. She's in the Financial District, big apartment like
a lot of times in New York, these apartments are
not big. It's a beautiful apartment. We get to meet
her daughter, which I was very shocked. I just really
didn't think that we're going to see that child's face ever,
because if I'm not mistake, even to this day, she
covers her face on social media.
Speaker 2 (12:41):
Right, I think that she has protected I think that
they're private. I think that her ex, or as she
calls them, her baby daddy. Yeah, is private, but I
think that he probably agreed to let her film because
he know that that's Lindsay's financial Yeah, yeah, probably, yeah,
(13:04):
And I think it's a smart thing to do.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
Now. She was saying that she hadn't had sex in
nine months, and I was just a little bit confused
because it looks sounds like she had the baby. And
then they just slit up because.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
Yeah, they never had sex by the time. Yeah, by
the time that she got approved to be having sex,
she was like, you.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
Were done, But the moth wasn't mathing because she was
like having sex and nine months and then it said
they broke up five months ago, So there was a
little wiggle time in there, but I guess that it was.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
I think it was already bad. It was already at
the end. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
But her daughter is absolutely adorable. She's so cute.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
She's in full mom mode, you know.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
And the way Jemma's face lit up when she saw
the nanny, Oh my god, so cute.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
She was just like, Yes, the way Jema's face lit
up when she was at the grocery store, it just
reminds you of like when little kids are so happy,
she could just see different things.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
But Okay, so you're gonna have to help me out
because some of these people that are on this show,
I don't know who they are, and I'm assuming they
are people that were on maybe Summerhouse before. None of them.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
The only people that were on Summerhouse before were Andrea
and Danielle.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Okay, so he was on Summerhouse early days. He's now married.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
He's now married. And then the other person is Danielle.
And Danielle and Lindsay used to be best friends.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Like beyond a while ago that fell.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
Fell apart in Summerhouse. She kind of came back as
a friend of for a while.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
And wait, she was at the opening of the Softbar, right, Yeah,
she was at the opening of the Soft Care and
then Lindsay was trying to avoid her then.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
Yeah, because they were best friends. And then all of
these issues happened when she got engaged with Carl and
they had all I mean, it became a huge drag
up fight. They lost.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
She had Carl a hand job.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Yeah, she gave Carl a hand job when they broke up.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
After him and Lindsay broke up.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
I'm sorry do you give a hand job to no fruition? Now, like,
would you finish hand God?
Speaker 1 (15:10):
No, no, no, no, I like the last time I
gave a hand job. Okay, let's just throw that out there.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
I mean, I can remember the last time I started
a hand job, but to finish it.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Yeah, isn't that to get it going?
Speaker 2 (15:23):
So this wasn't the time that she was about to
get married. This was just a time that they had
gotten togetherally started dating.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
And then she's like, I don't know about this, and
they broke up, and then her best friend swooped in
and gave him a hand job.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
Ew ew, and then they got back together.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
I don't know that I'm gonna like her.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
And if you're going to admit to a hand job,
then it's probably something.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
It's probably worse.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
Yeah, it's probably a blowjob. It's probably a blow But
then we are introduced to Yvonne, who's Lindsay's best friend
of thirteen years.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
She's the one that milk your boobs.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Yeah, she has milk ter boobs. And then George, Lindsay's
best friend who went a little crazy when her ex
left while she was thirty two weeks pregnant. Okay, I
would have gone crazy too, But I need more information.
How would you go?
Speaker 1 (16:08):
I need more information? No, I think we're gonna figure.
We're going to see it because she had to throw
that in there, so it's gonna come up. But Georgina,
she is the dermatologist.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
She's the dermatologist that has her clothes and the little.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Her backup clothes in case she's ready to go out. Yeah,
so she's Georgina is not married. She's a single mom.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
She has two kids, and her ex left her when
she was pregnant with her second and she was thirty
two weeks pregnant at all. Yikes, that is a brutal
time frame.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
Yeah, and her other kid seems really young too.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
And then Yvonne, Yvonne doesn't seem like she's got a
very solid marriage. Are they even married? They're married?
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Right?
Speaker 1 (16:52):
Is that? The one? Is Yvonne? The one where he
says she says, like, I left the house. I was
gone for two days.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
He didn't even always, I didn't even notice.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
Yeah, oh my god, run and you need to run.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
And she's wanting to like get have kids, and he
they don't have any kids. No, they don't have any kids,
nor should they have.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
Any she needs to run.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
He made a couple of weird faces too, like he
would be happy about something and then he'd.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
Be like, I know, I don't know if if you're
left the house, didn't tell your boyfriend her husband at
the time, and he doesn't know you're gone.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
No, like I was out with one of my friends yesterday.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
What if she was kidnapped?
Speaker 2 (17:31):
I mean yesterday just during the day, and she texted
her husband and said, you know, I'm dropping my daughter off.
I'm dropping our daughter off here. I'll see you later.
And he immediately wrote back, where are you going after that?
And she's like, oh, to lunch with Teddy, you know, calm, Yeah,
it's like common to have these conversations.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
If you don't have these conversations because the other person
doesn't you have a shit yes, I now yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
So I mean the fact that he didn't noticed she
was gone. They showed clips of him like at one
point asking the dog, where's your mom?
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Oh my god. So then we see Amanda Lindsay at
the grocery store with Gemma and they're, you know, pusher
and the stroller once got the cart. They're grocery shopping
and Amanda reveal is that during couple therapy with Kyle
that a therapist said, you guys hate each other. You
(18:27):
hate each other? Like where do you Where do you
go from there? Like?
Speaker 2 (18:30):
Where do you go from? Like? I remember there being
a point when I was in couple's therapy where there
was never a point where they said, you know, you
guys hate each other, but there was a point that
they were like she said to us, hey, guys, if
you can't listen to what the other person saying, we're
wasting our time doing this. Yeah, like if you both
(18:53):
cannot give the other person time to talk, and.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
It's not worth it, it's not where it. Well, then
Amana tells lindsay that Kyle thinks she should move out.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Well, because I think Kyle realizes how bad his relationship is.
But what about the money thing? Oh my god, I
couldn't take this.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
So Kyle got petty. That's petty. He's like, you haven't
paid rent in three years, So I'm going to go
back and I'm going to tell you how much you
owe and I've.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
May one hundred and seventeen thousand or whatever.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
And she paid it.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Yeah, She's like I paid it, And I was kind
off my back. I don't want to deal with it anymore.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
I don't know that I would pay it.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
I probably would have paid it, I don't think I would.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
Let's go through the divorce situation. Maybe there was a deal.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
No, because at the end of this divorce situation, it's
going to be fifty to fifty and she's going to
get more fucked.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
Unless they had some written agreement about your rent, I
don't know.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
Yeah, but she just paid off the rent. But I
have another question for you, though, I mean this one's
really important obviously, but do you ever go grocery shopping
with your friends? No, I've never paid.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
Tam, can't even go. Husband, can't even take my husband.
Once in a great while he'll go, and that's if
we're out doing something. I'm like, hey, you got to
stop about the grocery store.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
Yeah, Like, hey, Tam, help me pick out some produce.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
Every time he goes, it's like the first time he's
ever been in a store. He's like, Wow, this place
is cool. Seem at Target, he's like, whoa, you sell everything.
I'm like, go get up shop once in a while. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
I mean so, I this to me was just funny
that this is where all this intense conversation is happening.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
You see reality in any reality TV at the grocery store.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
Yeah, but I.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
Thought that when I saw it, and I thought this
is kind of cool. I think Kyle did it once
on Beverly Hills, but they normally don't do It's probably very,
very very hard to get it cleared.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
We did it one time on Beverly Hills when I
was on We went camping and we went and bought
like we went to like it was a rouse or something,
and we went and bought a bunch of like hot dogs,
and it was just a total cluster.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
It's probably some small grocery store too. I'm assuming no
it was a big, big grocery store, because normally the
big ones won't do it, and if they do agree
to it, they want they want to get paid.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
Yeah, so that I mean, maybe it was worth it
to them because we were such a shit show and.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
That's such a great scene.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
Oh that huh yeah woo. But either way, this grocery
store let them. It's a small little grocery store. Then
we see in Central Park we meet Andrea and Lexi.
They got married in a castle in Italy in twenty
twenty four, and Lindsay and Kyle were there, and then
they said maybe Jimma that was the rumor, and then
they pointed to her bellan.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
I know, is this the same place where Ben was
when he was skinny dipping with Amanda in Italy at
a wedding.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
No, because they did not say that Kyle and Amanda
were both there. They just said that Kyle.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
And so that year Kyle went to two weddings in Italy.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
Then Andrea says Kyle was there alone. I think I
did a lot alone.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
I wonder why you went alone.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
I want, if I'm not having sex for seven years,
what's the point of bringing someone to Europe. But also,
I don't trust anybody that wants to get have married
or do any kind of formal functions at Disneyland.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
I really don't know an adult Disney what's it called.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
I'm not an adult Disney person. Like I will go
with my kids once a year because I feel like
it's a requirement, and I will buy the little ears
and I'll do the whole thing. But like, if you're
one of those people that wants to go on a
date to Disney, I don't get it. And I know
you're kind of one of those people.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
Town No, I don't. I don't you know me, I
don't like crowds. I go once a year and it's
usually because Sophia wants to go. And then we also
go to California Venture for the holiday party for Coast
in my Heart, So we do that. That's fun because
it gets closed down for just the people invited. But
Disneyland I have found to be overcrowded, overpriced, and when
(23:00):
you do get there, you can only go on three
rides unless you pay you know, ten thousand dollar unless
you're a person to walk you around.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
Yeah, and now they have like undercover guides that are
like three thousand dollars, but then you still have to
buy all their tickets to get them and all their
friends and to hold and what they're doing.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
It's actually respond ridiculous at this point. You know, if
you go to Japan, it's like sixty dollars to go
to Disneyland.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Really, But do you think that Andrea and Lexi are
as lovey dovey as they seem?
Speaker 1 (23:31):
I mean they should be. They've only been married a year, right,
so I would imagine.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
I know, but like she's my princess. She's this we're perfect,
I mean, granted, Andrea kind of seems like a labordoodle.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
I mean it could be. I mean there's two ways
you look at it. Yeah, they're they're newly married, they
got that whole honeymoon stage. Or they're trying to make
everybody believe what he's selling them.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Yeah, you know, because I mean.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
I mean I've always said, the one that's constantly posting
their husbands and boyfriends all the time and then props
on social media, I'm like, give it a rest.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
Yeah, we know that she's hidden the fan.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
Yeah, give it a rest.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
When everything was too perfect, then we see Danielle and Ian,
but his name is spelled EO. I is Owen Owen, No,
it's Owen, it's Owen.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
So they're playing tennis together, if you want to call
it playing, because Danielle sucks so bad, like she can't
even trying. Well, I just some people just are not athletic.
And he's like this Owen guy is like he's a
pro or he's he was and he teaches and all
that stuff. So this is what's confusing. Okay, Yeah, they've
been dating for six months.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
They've known each other for nine years.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Lived together with one month. But something has come out.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
That he is married, Yeah, that he's still married.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
And that she later on they say like she was
the homewrecker. Oh, yeah, we get to that at the
when Lindy's I didn't know that she was the homewrecker.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
I just knew I read that.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
They called her a homewrecker. That was out in the press.
They flashed up on the screen that he was married,
so they literally who knows how long they dated while
he was married? Then?
Speaker 2 (25:09):
Yeah, because but also, I mean, I'm sure it's going
to come up a lot more this season, but they've
known each other for nine years. And then she said
he just slid into her DMS again one day.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
Well again, we need more more information.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
Now she's pregnant.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
Oh is that the one that was just denounced. Yeah,
oh I didn't know who she was.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
I mean it was filmed eight months ago. Now she's
like fully pregnant. But I want to know, and he's
still married. That's why I'm trying to say. The math
is a mathing to me, because how long does it
take to get divorced in New York? Because it takes
a long ast time.
Speaker 1 (25:46):
Yeah, if you have assets all that stuff, it could
take a while. So they filmed in what September, so
it hasn't been quite a year. So yeah, you got
pregnant pretty quick after that those scenes.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
But he was kind of making like he was like, oh,
I definitely want to have kids with you. But then
when they were in their confessional talking about it, he
definitely was like, yeah, kids, yay kids. But now we
know that they are pregnant.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
But as she's telling Owen, oh, me and Linday haven't
early talked. And I saw Jemma once and but you know,
we just left touch and just you know, why you're
not talking? Why are you acting like you don't know?
Speaker 2 (26:23):
Yeah, why are you acting like well? Because I think
for a little bit she thought that they were going
to make up because she let her come meet Jemma.
Those things happened, and then but Danielle Lindsay haven't spoken
in four months.
Speaker 1 (26:35):
How old is Jemma at this point?
Speaker 2 (26:36):
Do you think I think Jima it's like eight months?
Speaker 1 (26:40):
Eight months?
Speaker 2 (26:40):
Yeah, because she can sit up on her own.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
Yeah, she saw her when she was born. It's been
a while, it's been a while.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
Yeah, So she saw her a while ago, I don't
I think that every time that we've seen Danielle and
Lindsay anywhere in the vicinity of each other, it seems
like Danielle would do anything to talk to Lindsay, and
Lindsay looks like she'll do anything to get away.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Yeah, because they were at the Softbar and yeah, she's like, nope,
not having it, not having it.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
Then Kyle and Kenny meet for drinks and they're confessionals.
Kyle describes Kenny as a work hard, play hard kind
of guy. Kenny Kyle is a lush, A lush do
we trust Kenny? Kenny's a venture capitalist who invested in
lover Boy a couple of years ago. Kyle was going
(27:39):
to pay his investors twenty five x what they invested in.
Now he's struggling.
Speaker 1 (27:43):
So whatever they have, they have some advice that Kenny
asked all the right questions. He's like, I haven't seen
like a prop in the Lost sheet in months, Like
what is going on? He's like, Yeah, I've been kind
of slucking and I had to lay off five employees.
I invested five hundred thousand of my own money and
a lover Boy.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
So.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
I don't know. We don't know enough about Kenny yet. Now,
Kenny's the one that's dating and the girlfriend she was
on the Bacheler.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
Right, Yeah, she was on the Bachelor. I kind of
remember from that. But also I'm not sure calling someone
who is supposed to be running your alcohol company a
lush is the smartest move.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
Well, we all know he's a lush. We've been watching
him for years. It's like, it's shocking when he's not
slurring his words.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
No, I'm like, it's he Okay, I know.
Speaker 1 (28:29):
But Kenny did say he doesn't think Amanda Is has
ever met Kyle on the same energetic level.
Speaker 2 (28:36):
Well, I can see that, Yeah, I can see that.
But Kenny's talking about how he's dating Whitney for six months,
but she moved from Minnesota to New York to be
with him. But they were together for a while and
then his mother passed, somebody passed away. He's going through
a hard time, and there was a bunch of other
(28:56):
women around. I see a lot of red flat. I'm
worried about Kenny and Whitney.
Speaker 1 (29:06):
When kidney kidney, When kidney kidney. When Kenny was talking
about Whitney and her moving and all this stuff, and
then Kenny is saying, I'm still trying to figure out
where you know how I feel there is a spark
there with her. I'm like, you're having this girl move
to move into a bad sign after six months, and
you're not quite sure that that spark is there.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
You're not sure that permanent spark is there, but yet
you're having her move there. Is that just because you
don't want to be alone?
Speaker 1 (29:34):
Or is that because they're filming a show?
Speaker 2 (29:36):
I can't understand. I mean, she tells us on this
episode that she made it to like there's eight left
in the Bachelorette or bat.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
I wasn't sure if she was saying there was eight
left or she was the first of eight to leave.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
I can remember her, so I watch it so I
can remember. I kind of remember her, But she didn't
like leave a lasting impression on me. No offense, even
though I just had to look down to see what
her name is. No offense.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
Whitney, Well, you're about to get to know her a
lot better.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
Now, we're about to get to know her a lot better.
But then they're all in the West Village and they're
meeting for drinks, and this is where once again, Lindsey
comes in and she asks the hard questions.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
Yes, I mean I was behind her one hundred percent. Yeah,
everything she said, like she's like this kinny guy, Like
you're seriously having this girl move out here and be
with you without a ring, without a commitment, you seem
like a man hater. Do you think she was acting
like a man hater or.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
Do you think no? I think she was. She's been
through a lot, and she knows if she can trust people.
And I think when two minutes prior, you know, they're
talking about how he was already hooking up with other
chicks when he was going through a hard time and
he took a little break from what I think she
got that information and then realized, oh okay, So now
(31:05):
for six months they've been okay, and now she's moving
here for him, with her dog and her her nice
little voice like you're gonna get eaten alive, She's gonna
get eaten the line I can't, Oh, well, it's not not.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
But then you know Kyle's not there. Amanda and Kyle
are getting home from or leaving therapy. They're filming them
out in the streets of New York City, and at
this point Amanda is so upset, like it looks like
she really wants the marriage to work, and at this point,
Kyle is the He's the one not wanting to work. Yeah,
was confusing, and she's like, I got to leave. I'm hot.
(31:43):
He's like, because you're wearing a rain jacket. She's not
a range jacket. It's a trench coat, is what it is.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
You're sweating in it.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
It's September in New York. It is so hot.
Speaker 2 (31:55):
Then usually, well, I think what she was really upset about,
which is what she's always been really upset about, is
that he's staying out till four or five six in
the morning. Oh that's right.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
Yeah, so he got home at four in the morning
and then went to therapy.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
Yeah. So she's like, you're not even trying.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
You're not giving me any hope, I think is what
she said, right, you're not. But I was shocked that
she was the one that really wanted to try at
this point. And so he's like, Okay, let's go to
Garrett's and she's like, I'm not going.
Speaker 2 (32:24):
Yeah, She's like, I'm not going to I'm not going
to Garrett's. Ghausted, I'm exhausted. And then we kind of
passed back to Kenny saying she's never she never meets you.
We always see you alone. Then we get Lindsay breaking
down all the things that Danielle does to her because
we have Danielle, who we know is desperado to be
(32:45):
friends with Lindsay. Okay, So in twenty nineteen, Carl and
Lindsay break up and Danielle gives him a hand job
in the back of the uber one week later.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
How did she find out?
Speaker 2 (32:56):
I wonder? I don't know what it's like.
Speaker 1 (32:59):
Hey, by the way, the uber driver get your ex
boyfriend a hand job?
Speaker 2 (33:04):
Like, how did she find out?
Speaker 1 (33:05):
I'm sure if we probably pore uber drivers all the
shit they see.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
Oh my gosh, do you wonder if you get charged extra? Like?
That's why I think it has to have been a blowjob,
because what did she do when he came? Just wiped
it on the seat?
Speaker 1 (33:18):
Maybe he did, who knows.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
Then in twenty twenty two, Danielle is pissed that Carl
and Lindsay didn't involve her in the engagement planning process,
and then in twenty twenty four, Danielle shits on Lindsay's
pregnancy and can't believe that she and her baby daddy
don't live together.
Speaker 1 (33:35):
Well, I don't know that. She's shit on it. And
they did that flashback and she's like, wait, you don't
live together? Like whoa?
Speaker 2 (33:41):
I think behind her back?
Speaker 1 (33:42):
She should maybe behind her back, but the flashback I
didn't feel like was that bad. That's like one of
my good friends getting pregnant and dating somebody, like, wait,
you guys don't even live together, Like okay, you're doing
this on your own.
Speaker 2 (33:53):
But she already knew that. It was already all over
the internet like to don't act surprised, well.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
Shit exprise. Because then Danielle approaches Lindsay announce her to
grab coffee or lunch, and Lindsay's like, can I think
about it. I'm very busy these days. And she's like, oh,
you know, raising a toddler, no wiping my ass?
Speaker 2 (34:11):
What do you think I love Lindsay. She's like, I
don't have my calendar in front of me right now.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
Yeah, it's not on my phone. Just so you know,
I'm old school. I write everything down.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Like i'll see. Aka, I'm going to ask production if
I have to do this, and I'll do it once
I have to.
Speaker 1 (34:26):
Yeah, I'll let you know.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
I'll let you know.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
Which I think will happen. It's gonna happen, Linda, They're gonna.
Speaker 2 (34:32):
Have to get to at some point. The girls then
are grabbing drinks. Lindsay kind of preps the girls already
about Amanda. Yeah, she preps them about the money.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
Well, Amanda starts off. She's like, listen, I don't want
to talk about my shit. Okay, guy, let's talk about
your shit. You give me the tea, you give me
all the dirt. Let's not talk about me right now.
And they and they didn't. They went straight to Danielle
and her boyfriend.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
On or Owen, Owen Owen. They go right into Danielle
talking and that's saying that Owen is still married. And
Amanda said, she's not a girl's girl.
Speaker 1 (35:12):
I'm like, the irony of this, right.
Speaker 2 (35:15):
Irony of this. But you know, so you're seeing the
level that Amanda's at. She's gotten herself these new banks.
She's coming to meet the girls.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
Because she's always always a bad decision. Cut bangs when
you're at a bad place in your life.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
Never cut banks or dye your hair brown when you're
in a bad place, Right, it's just always a bad
I thought.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
About cutting bangs the other day, not like bangs bangs,
but like those curtain ones.
Speaker 2 (35:40):
Oh, then that would be such a pain in the butt.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
For right now, my extensions are barely holding on and
I can't get in till like the eighth of June,
and they're barely holding on. And you know, sometimes say
like my own hair is grown out so dark that
my extensions it's just so drastically you can.
Speaker 2 (35:54):
Yeah, you can, It's obvious you have to wear.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
It, yes, And it's just like, oh, and I'm like,
I need a change about ready to take them out myself.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
But then I'll be then you'll be in a hall
daisy of a sage. But I think it's very telling
that Amanda says she doesn't want to talk about any
of her problems.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
She's sick of talking about him.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
But we're on a new show now. We all need
to hear about them. We need to hear where you are.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
Right crying on a street corner to Kyle. Well, it's
all right. I'm tired of talking about their problems at
this point. I'm tired of hearing about him. I'm tired
of talking about him and they do break up this season,
so it's not over.
Speaker 2 (36:30):
There're still a lot but I mean they're still together
at this point.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
Well, I just can't wait till West comes in on that.
Speaker 2 (36:38):
I mean, do we think he's going to have it. Well,
then Amanda and Kyle are and Chelsea for their four
year anniversary. Hilarious, which is the I think. I mean,
it's the perfect time for her to tell him she's
moving out.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
I mean, let's celebrate with caviar andes cargo, no thank you.
They spend their anniversary dinner talking about how terrible the
relationship has become, and then they invite people that's sitting
next to them into their conversation. Yeah, it's been a
real dream.
Speaker 2 (37:07):
Boat. I'm just happy we made Everyone said we were
only going to make it three years, but we made
it to four, so hah yeah, and.
Speaker 1 (37:13):
Now we're calling it quits. But Amanda then takes time,
like you said, to let Kyle know she's moving out.
Amanda wants to live separately but then date each other,
so they want she wants to act like they're dating again.
I mean, it's a last ditch effort. I don't think
it's exactly the smartest thing to do.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
But I think I tried to pull some of that
kind of bullshit too. I think I tried to say, like,
I think we just need a break and we date
other people.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
And then we see they weren't even saying date other people.
They were saying, let's date each other other, Let's show
up to each other's apartment and you know, do things
I don't know, Let's.
Speaker 2 (37:50):
Try and whine and dine each other. I'm like, if
you guys can't whine and dine each other when you're
living in the same vicinity, I think you're not going
to make the effort to do that. The only thing
you guys are going to make an effort to do
is your dog's schedule.
Speaker 1 (38:03):
Well maybe I'm a quitter, but if your relationship is
that hard and you have no children and you were
just fighting all the time, you can't see why continue.
Because you throw kids into that, it's going to be
one hundred times worse.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
Seek I think by this time Kyle has checked out.
He doesn't seem like he's on the verge of tears.
He like, he doesn't seem like he did. I agree
at the end of Summer House, like I think at
this point, Kyle has is no longer begging her, and
I think it's hurting her. That's why she's crying and
she's upset now all of a sudden, because for a
(38:37):
while she had his balls. You know, she was like, listen,
I got you because you know.
Speaker 1 (38:42):
I'm saying, normally, it's hard for a girl at first
when there's a breakup, and then the guys are just
like whatever doesn't sink in. And then a few months later,
that's when the guys get hit with oh my god,
what have I done? Or that's when they get set
like girls process things differently.
Speaker 2 (38:59):
But I think she had thought for a long she
had already decided during the entire season of Summerhouse that
she was done with him. So I think in her
mind she was okay then, and she developed a crush
on West or whatever it was so too, and so
that when you have the confidence of being with somebody else,
then it's a lot easier to be like.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
Okay, well, for sure, when it's new life. When you
got your eye on somebody else, even if they didn't
have even if they weren't having sexophone around or whatever,
there was some kind of chemistry there and then it
gets so much easier to leave the situation you're in
when you got somebody on the side.
Speaker 2 (39:32):
Yeah, and then that's like, that's kind of how we
end it, and then we see some scenes coming up.
Speaker 1 (39:38):
Did you like it? I?
Speaker 2 (39:41):
I think the problem is I like Summer House so much.
Speaker 1 (39:44):
See I'm the opposite, so I maybe because of our
age difference, the constant partying and all this. It's just
I think the demographic for Summerhouse is a little bit
younger see.
Speaker 2 (39:56):
To me so far, because In the City is so new.
I in the City, I'm I realized we're episode one,
so I've got to give myself some time. But I'm
really not invested in anybody.
Speaker 1 (40:08):
No, And I think it's too soon to be invested
in anybody. But I think that for me, I don't
want to see these people sitting there and partying and
sloppy and sloppy and falling down, and you want to.
Speaker 2 (40:18):
See them with their kids at the grocery store.
Speaker 1 (40:21):
I want to see more of that. I want to
see because this reminds me more of like a housewife show.
Like it's more like adult people that are married have kids,
trying to figure out maybe don't have the best marriage
that have careers all this stuff.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
So do you think we're not going to ever see
like West or Jesse or any Ciara, any of these
people on the city.
Speaker 1 (40:46):
I think we probably will. I think that in the trailer.
West is in the trailer. But I also think didn't
Jesse say come out and say something recently? I don't remember,
and I don't remember if he said like I wasn't
in it at all, or I was I made a cameo.
I can't remember what he said, yeah, but he said
(41:07):
it was fine either way.
Speaker 2 (41:08):
I think the problem is I just kind of missed
some of the Summerhouse people.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
Well, I think you're going to see most of them
throughout the season.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:16):
I think that would be the part on their own productions.
Speaker 2 (41:19):
Part, because who's who's your favorite newbie.
Speaker 1 (41:22):
My favorite newbie? I do like the friendship with the
new girls with Lindsay. I like that.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
Yeah. I feel like Georgina, I really like I need
to know more information what she did, because obviously she
did something.
Speaker 1 (41:35):
She's calling herself out.
Speaker 2 (41:36):
She's like, oh wow, oh when we find out whatever
she did was crazy, it must be pretty crazy because
if you're calling yourself out for being crazy.
Speaker 1 (41:44):
She's just like, I'm pregnant, I got a broken foot, shit,
I lost it. Yeah, I'm like, I don't blame you.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
So I like Georgiana, imagine being.
Speaker 1 (41:53):
Dumped at thirty two weeks pregnant, Like what?
Speaker 2 (41:55):
What?
Speaker 1 (41:56):
Who?
Speaker 2 (41:56):
What?
Speaker 1 (41:57):
Man would do that? Like stay for while? Like like
come on.
Speaker 2 (42:02):
I bet I mean, I bet he moved on with
somebody else.
Speaker 1 (42:05):
I think he got caught cheating.
Speaker 2 (42:08):
No, I think he probably fell in love with somebody
else and left. That's my guess. I don't think she
caught him because the way she framed it is he
left her.
Speaker 1 (42:18):
Well, well, hopefully we're going to find out.
Speaker 2 (42:19):
I'm sure we will, but yeah, I don't know. I
haven't like bonded with Kenny or Whitney or any of
those people yet.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
I think we're going to be heavy on Lindsay, Lindsay, Kyle,
and Amanda. I think it's going to be pretty heavy,
and I think that it's going to get pretty deep
because they do, from what I hear, split up during
the show. Not just I'm moving out and dating, but
split divorce papers all that.
Speaker 2 (42:42):
Yeah, so we're going to see all the details. So,

I heard one of them say they didn't split break
up officially until after Brabo Con. So we got a
couple of months yeah, of them living apart but sing
together dating each other. So I don't know, I'm in it.
Speaker 2 (43:11):

obsessed with what's happening at the end of Summer House.
