Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of to Teas and
a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and Tambridgage.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Good morning, good morning, good morning. What's new with you?
Speaker 4 (00:26):
Just hanging in Big Bear. It's been warm up until today.
The temperature has just dropped. I saw time in thirty years, right,
thirty plus. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
She was actually.
Speaker 4 (00:41):
Kind of my cousin. So my uncle got married so
many times and he married her mom was one of them.
I don't know how long they were married, but it
was through like junior high in high school, and so
we went to school together and all that stuff. So
then obviously they divorced. Both my uncle and her mom
passed away since then, and we keep in contact through Instagram, Facebook, whatever.
(01:02):
And then she has a place in Big Bear. Her
family's had a place since like nineteen seventeen.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
Oh wow, uh huh.
Speaker 4 (01:10):
And so I'm like, hey, I'm here too, Let's go
to lunch. So we actually ended up going to dinner
and it was like, you know, it's like one of
those things where no time is passed. Yeah, but randomly,
now people are reaching out to me, going, oh my god,
I know Tricia. You went to go into our high
school too. I did too. Yes, all these like strange
(01:30):
people and not strange but just people. I'm like, okay,
I haven't talked to him forever.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
And then I didn't even know.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
Like some guy from Orange County He's like, I know, Trisha.
I went to high school with her, so I must
went to high school with you. He's like, I've never
put two and two together.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
Like, how many years apart were you, guys? Two years?
Speaker 4 (01:46):
She's two years younger than me.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Yeah, so that's not much you like in high school
at the same time. Yep, Oh that's pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
Yeah. So it was nice. It was to night. Oh
that's good.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
You were out of town. I was out of town.
I went worked. It was actually a really amazing event.
I went and worked. It's called Cure and it's for
melanoma and what it it's it rewards the nurses that
are the melanoma nurses and somebody like wins an award
(02:18):
at the end, and it's it was really like a
great event, Like I got to hear so many wonderful stories.
You got to connect with people that are you know,
going through similar things, but also not just that, like
hearing how much the nurses put into it, Like I
almost forgot my time in the hospital, Like how much
(02:39):
the nurses do. I mean, they are working NonStop. They
are doing everything to make you feel comfortable.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
And you know, so when we were doing everything to
make him feel get mad.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Yeah, so I was like good thing nobody from from
cesar sigh. And I was there because then I didn't
have to explain myself. So it ended up being good.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
But I also met a dude.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
Yep, a dude is the age appropriate.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
He's age appropriate.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Okay, Okay, so we remember we already have we have
Derek here, but the Derek's the one that we've gone
on fifty first dates.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
Okay, Like it's I don't know that it'll ever go
past a first date. It's like every date it's like
the first date. Yeah, every day it's yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Like weird, we get in, we have a date, we
give a kiss, goodbye, We're done, like that's our date.
We rarely text during the week, like it's I mean,
it's groundhog date.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Okay, I mean, but it's fun. I've always like enjoyed them.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Yeah, but it's going nowhere, it's trying to move on,
it's going nowhere.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
I think he's probably at.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
A place where he like, you know, I don't know.
He's the older, older than me, gentlemen. And so when
I went to San Antonio, which I kept, this is
how smart I am, guys.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
I just am ready for you to hear this.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
So I kept When I got to San Antonio, all
the people there were there meeting me for the like,
but the reps and stuff to talk to me about
what I was going to need to do for my
speech and all that kind of stuff. I kept saying, like, oh,
where do you guys live? And they kept saying Washington.
So then I just came up with my head that
(04:34):
there was a Washington san Antonio, not that their corporate
office are actually Antonio. Why not Washington? And they just
came to San Antonio to do this event. I that
what passed me. But I've never been to San Antonio before.
So the first night I go, I travel with my nurse.
(04:56):
We go eat at like, we get there early. We
go to eat at like rus Chris at like I
don't know, five o'clock, and then it's done, and then
I'm in the in my hotel room by myself, and
I'm talking to my brother and he's like, why don't you.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
Go on Hinge and change your location? And I'm like,
what do you mean?
Speaker 2 (05:20):
And he's like, just go on Hinge and change your
location and see if anyone hits you up.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Oh I'll go. I thought you're gonna say you met
him at the event, or you met him at the hotel,
you met him on Hinge.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
I met him on Hinge? Scares me, Well, it doesn't
scare me.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
He's like a nice country boy, like so sweet, has kids.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
He also lives in Texas.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
He also lives in San Antonio, which to get there
is only two hours, but to get back is like
three and a half hours because of the crosswinds or whatever.
It's but this is what it did make me realize.
It made me realize, like, when somebody likes you, m
I actually make an effort to talk to you.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Well, of course, well guys are probably nicer in Texas. Sorry,
but it's probably true. I mean, and guys are hotter
compared to yes, like and they're like men.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Yeah, yeah, because you know, this week, I the it's
been like a whole weird cowboy yeah, yeah, so save
a horse, Save a horse, Ride a cowboy.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
But I mean I hung out with him when I
was there.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
It was so nice, like I just felt, I don't know,
it was effortless. And now we're like teenagers where we're
talking on the phone like two hours a night.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Oh and that's good.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
Yeah, I mean it may not lead it.
Speaker 4 (06:44):
I think I think we need to go to Texas
to do a podcast. I think we need to go
to Texas to do a podcast too. He was like
joking around.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
He's like, I heard there's a podcast of men I
next Monday and Tuesday, San Antonio.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
How are you going.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
I'm like, uh huh, I'm like, yeah, let me see
the fly for siting. Well.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
I had some like weird premonition shit this week. What well,
So when saw Michael Jackson again, Eddie hadn't seen it,
so I saw it was sofia on Mother's Day and
then went here in Big Bear and I'm sitting in
the theater and I'm like, what do I feel like
the theater like the tape's gonna break during this No,
and it's just not We're not where They're gonna either
(07:23):
going to send us home or something. They're gonna have
to send us somewhere, and so we're watching it. Forty
five minutes into it. Sure enough, the screen goes black
and I'm like, what the hell is going on here?
And so they come out and they're like, don't know
what happened, but we're gonna have to send you to
another theater next door because there was no movie going on.
So we went over there and finished watching it, which,
(07:45):
by the way, amazing if you have I've seen it twice.
If you have seen it twice, Eddie's like, oh my god,
you know, it was just crazy. Then we're at dinner.
This is actually a sad one. We're at dinner with
my cousin.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
Uh friend and her husband who I just met, said,
I really wish I would have been able to you know,
know Susie. That was Tricia's mom. I really wish she
ended up passing away. She had Alzheimer's. And I said, oh,
she was so amazing and fun and all this stuff.
And I said, you know, knock on wood, I really
haven't had anybody super close to me pass away. My
(08:22):
mom and dad are still alive, and you know, I've
had my grandparents. I was really young my grandparents passed away.
That was the only people wake up in the morning.
My mom calls me and says, I want to let
you know that your cousin Sandy passed away this morning. No,
and I'm like, what same age as me? We were
three months apart. My mom when she was an infant,
(08:44):
she had open heart surgery and so she always had
heart problems, and now at fifty eight, she her heart
just I think just gave out.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
Oh my gosh, she had I'm so sorry. I know,
it's really sad.
Speaker 4 (08:57):
So she had gone in and out of the hospital
like heart problems, and they sent her home the night
before and she passed away the next day.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
Wow, I know.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
So it was like, oh, I'm like.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
You've really been through the wringer.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
I'm not done withou and everything. I'm like, you know,
what was it?
Speaker 2 (09:14):
The real water, the wood that's behind it's probably yes,
it's probably something, but you know, rest in peace.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
She's up there with my grandma and grandpa and her dad,
and you know, she's got she's the youngest of four
four so she's hopefully.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
She didn't suffer.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
Yeah, and her poor mom, she's not in good health.
She's with my mom's sister. She's in her eighties, and
there's hope nothing happens to her.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
It's really scary how like time flies and you just
don't really realize it.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
I know, I know so fast. I know.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
And when people say they have like both their parents,
it's such like a like a miracle almost.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
I know so many people that they have already lost
their parents. And here I am, you know, fifty eight
years old, and my parents are doing very well. Yeah,
and Eddie's grandma's not going on one hundred and one.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
I still can't believe that. I believe it either. I
still can't believe. We cannot believe that. Yeah. So, I
mean we had you had some premonitions, I had some
cowboy time. Uh huh.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
So how much time did you spend with him?
Speaker 3 (10:26):
Like I'm like two nights? Nice?
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Like he came over, we met down in the lobby,
like all was good and it wasn't like a big
drinking thing like it was, but like seriously talked like teenagers.
Learned everything about his life, he learned everything about mine.
And also you have to understand that when he first
when we first started messaging on Hinge, I don't he
(10:51):
doesn't know who I am?
Speaker 4 (10:52):
Like, clearly did he not truly not know who you are?
Speaker 2 (10:55):
No, my name is It just says Teddy on there
and there's some pictures. But he wrote the way he's
started his messaging to me is are you a bot?
You look too beautiful to be on this?
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Oh wow?
Speaker 2 (11:06):
Yeah, And so I wrote back, I'm not a bot?
But how do I prove it to you? And He's
like by talking on so we facetimed, but I mean,
I'm here to tell you that all I had was
either sweats like this shocking or my one suit. So
(11:28):
I'm like, if we're going to meet, we have to
meet like somewhere whereas I'm going to be in alice
sweats and I'm not going to have one bit of
makeup on because I'm getting my makeup done tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
And I had like my crazy hair and like all
of it, and he still and he still went for it. Yeah,
but it was I mean, it was nice.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
And then now we're like still talking on the phone,
and now we need to figure out where when we're
gonna pod in San Antonio.
Speaker 3 (11:54):
Let's do it. But like this is the first.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
Time and this is no offense to any of my exits. Yeah,
my whatever like that, I've been with like a manly man.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
I'm going to agree with that. You tend to like
the metro type of.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Yeah, like I tend to like very metro and no,
like this guy's got like a you know, like.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
A lulla scruff. Yeah, that's what I like.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
He like when we kissed, he like lifted me up
because he's so tall.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
Oh he's tall too, Yeah, he's like six'.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
Four oh my. Goodness SO i couldn't even on my tippy.

Speaker 2 (12:50):

think of it that, way Missus Debbie, Downer, yeah probably.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
I don't understand why the house is not the. Market,
well that's What i'm.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
Confused, WAY i think What i'm.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Trying What i've understood was is that if the debt
is too high and you've like put something you, know
too much into the home kind of short so, yeah
then it's then you don't have the backing to be
able to sell it for more than. This, YEAH i
forgot there for more than it's. Worth it's well unless
you short sell. It but there's multiple loans on.
Speaker 4 (16:36):
It so that's so she probably, thinks what's the, point
there's no money's been made on? It is her name on,
it you, KNOW i.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
DON'T i don't know if her name's on, it BUT
i think her name's on.

EVERYTHING i hope her name isn't on it and it
just goes straight days.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
THAT i. KNOW i hate. IT i the fact that
you know.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
Your private life just because it goes through court sism
system is public is not.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
Okay AND i don't know why it has made me.
Speaker 2 (17:24):

like it's you, know like one of his kids are
like sending him a nice text and they're, LIKE i love, you,
daddy but is there any way you could please send
us away on spring? Break mommy would need fifty thousand
dollars to do. It fifty thousand, JESUS i.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
Had they had to be told that they, had and
that's not okay.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
Either, yeah so it's it's DEFINITELY i think gonna get
messier because THE i think more stuff's gonna get. LEAKED
i just course it Even and also it kind of
pisses me off about This Ronald richards guy because he's
the one that digs it all up and puts it out.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
THERE i don't know who that.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
Is you don't know Who Ronald richards.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
IS i don't think, So oh my, gosh he's the
one that like went to town On. Erica, wait is
he an attorney or? Something he used to be an
attorney or maybe he still is an. Attorney but he's

yeah over everything breaks it.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
Stuff and threw throw her. Bone and then she.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
She tagged the dupes and she didn't say they're sold,
out you're a.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
Company she just tagged.
Speaker 4 (19:31):
Dupes oh, man that's not. Cool, yeah that's not cool at.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
All but that THE w word was used. Again, weirdo.
Weirdo when did people start using that word? AGAIN i don't.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
Know there's a lot of new a lot of old
words coming, BACK i feel, like AND i just feel
like it was just a shitty thing to, do like
just just say, like, hey it's sold, out but this
is the brand at the, brand but you know. WHAT

weird IS i don't really think dev understands what's going.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
On.
Speaker 3 (21:57):
YEAH i think the.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Older kids, do and they're kind of like, sure like
especially the way that everything ended.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
With the older, kids like they know.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Everything they'd rather me be honest If i'm going on a,
date Like i'm not Like i'm not introducing them to
a ton of, people but Like i'm not gonna lie
to them IF i get dressed up And i'm heading
outside of the house And i'm not going to you,
know Like i'm Like i'm going on a, date you,
know like it is what it. Is But, DOVE i
think she thinks that like people can just be married
(22:28):
to two.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
People oh, yeah because.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
Like, ed WHEN i fully get, along he comes here
whenever drops off the. Kids he's he watched, like you,
know The fight and The roast With cruise last.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
Night.
Speaker 4 (22:42):
And WELL i WILL i will tell you. This sophia
was at age when me and her dad split, up
and she didn't really get.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
It she didn't get it until like later in.
Speaker 4 (22:52):
Life and then you, know each kid deals with divorce
at different times of their life or you know how
how they react to. It each one could be totally.
Different one can be just, fine one could shut, down
one could be. Problematic and when it's you, know four years,
OLD i think she was right when you guys split.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
Or, yeah like it's kind of all she's known is
us together but not.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
Together it probably will be the easiest, transition maybe on,
her depending on her, personality because she was so. Young
it hits, Them it hits, them always hits each kid
in different.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
AND i guess it's probably helpful that she is best
friends With Edwain's girlfriend's. Excited, yeah BUT i mean seeing
the pictures because we've never met in. Person i've never met,
her so seeing the pictures is definitely like one.
Speaker 4 (23:53):
Of those like o've been together for a, year, right
they've been together like a year and a half year
and a.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
Half, Wow and So i've met her daughter a bunch of,
times But i've never met her and so just seeing the.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
Photos is she married. TOO i don't know if she's
divorced or separated or. What AND i don't know all the.
Details she's pretty, PRIVATE i, think BUT.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
I do know, that, like, yeah there was a moment
WHERE i saw the pictures WHERE i was, like oh my,
god like this is really, Over like this is.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
Yah, yeah it's hard to see a, picture it really.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
Is it's different to see a. Picture it's different when
like other people send you photographs and you see it
versus worse than me knowing they're like driving off in
the car.
Speaker 4 (24:39):
Together, yeah well the next will be you run into.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
Them THEN i would have to leave my. House, true
which you know.
Speaker 4 (24:49):
Any health, update health, Updates, NO.

San antonio and kind of going through the, airport she
(25:19):

Speaker 3 (25:21):
Ready, No so that was a little bit of a.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
Bummer so Now i'm going to Bring, sarah who's one
of our, nannies and just we'll all go. Together AND
i was, like you, know had to suck it, up
and just like just because you get tired, easy BECAUSE
i get tired, easy and THEN i get confused WHEN
i CAN'T i start not being able to.
Speaker 3 (25:39):
See So i've gone to optomologists right for.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
That, Yeah AND i have my glasses now and it,
helps but there's it must be something in my brain
that just makes my eyes because even IF i have
my glasses, ON i still can't really and THEN i
get kind of worn, down LIKE i probably would have
missed the flight BECAUSE i just sat down and then
(26:04):
like didn't pay attention to them saying that the flight.
Moved oh, Yeah and like my nurse was, Like, teddy

Year there's two years the longest you can stay on,
it and, YOU i, mean you can stay on it for.
Life let's say that to microdose.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
It god, FORBID i go off of it and then
like the, tumorser the cancer comes back in some. Way
that's their biggest. Concern, yeah then you WOULD i would
go back on, it and some people live on.
Speaker 4 (27:18):
It what is your feeling about having if you would
have to live on?
Speaker 3 (27:22):
