Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of to Teas in
a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and Tama Judge. We
are going to be doing some host chat. Then we
are going to you know, get to all of the
questions that the fans asked, and then we're going to
be announcing the twenty award nominations.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Can't wait, so, Teddy, the number one question that was
asked is how do you have a health update and
how are you feeling about your dad? Going on? Joe
Rogan and I think it was Good Morning in America,
and he really caused a stroke because everybody thought, oh
my god, what is going on with you?
Speaker 2 (00:51):
You know, I think when he said the words suffering,
he met like how I'm mentally doing versus how I'm
physically doing.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Okay, Instantly people thought, oh my god, cancer's back.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
What's going on? Yeah, it's coming to get her. But no,
there's still no trace of cancer. But I'm still considered
stage four and I'm still an immunotherapy, so essentially nothing's
changed other than I still I feel great. I really
like I would hope that I would be feeling better
(01:26):
by now, but I really don't, do you.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
I would imagine just being on medication and doing an immunotherapy.
It's got to take a toll on your body.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
I think it takes a toll on my body. And
I think that I also didn't properly process all of
the things that happened when I had surgery, like from
my divorce to all of a sudden being in emergency surgery,
to you know, not being able to see my kids
when I was recovering. I think all of those things

are starting to finally hit me now doing therapy, and
so it's it's taken its total on me.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
It's been almost a year. Next month, it'll be a
year since we were at Super Bowl, my cancerversary.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Yeah, so, I mean, and it takes a while for
your brain to heal after you've had such a traumatic
brain surgery.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah. And I've you know, learned that there's certain things
like that it's hard for me to touch and move
and I can see that I'm slower than I was before,
and that's really frustrating to me, Like I want to
be back to the way I used.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
To, I know, and you're very hard on yourself. Do
you think that the surgery is really what's done that,
Like it's kind of affected your motor skills a little
bit and it just takes time for your brain to heal.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Yeah. I think that that is a big part of it.
And then I think the immuni therapy part is just
why I feel kind of exhausted.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
But I think mentally, you win from I'm fighting for
my life to getting that scan that said there's no
tumors detected, and then it was like, Okay, now I
can process what I'm going through. But before I'm just
trying to live.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
That's exactly I mean, you nail that. I mean I
was really fighting for my life, and when I was,
I felt different. Then Yeah, now that the storm has
calmed a little.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Bit, now you're processing everything, and.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Now I'm starting to develop fear where I didn't have
fear before, Like I have fear to do a lot
of things.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Like what's your fear, what's your biggest fear.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Like well one that cancer is going to come back?
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Oh yeah, but like but you did you can't think
like that. I know it's easier said than done, but other.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Than that, like I mean, I haven't even taken any
ubers by myself, like I don't feel super self sufficient.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Yeah, it's just going to take time. It's going to
take time. You're doing, I mean so great. But I
did see a change in you after you did get
that oh no, tumors detected, and then you kind of
went you took steps backwards after that, in my opinion
as your friend, and then all because I remember asking
you like, was that a huge relief?
Speaker 2 (04:15):
And you go no, yeah, and that's when I took
the month off.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Yeah you're like, no, it's not. Now I have to
process everything I've gone through and now it's really hit
me what I'm going through.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yeah. Yeah, so's every day is a new day. But
you know, we don't want to be Debbie Downers on
the pod.
Speaker 3 (04:36):

Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of to Teas in
a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and Tama Judge. We
are going to be doing some host chat. Then we
are going to you know, get to all of the
questions that the fans asked, and then we're going to
be announcing the twenty award nominations.

Can't wait, so, Teddy, the number one question that was
asked is how do you have a health update and
how are you feeling about your dad? Going on? Joe
Rogan and I think it was Good Morning in America,
and he really caused a stroke because everybody thought, oh
my god, what is going on with you?
Speaker 2 (00:51):
You know, I think when he said the words suffering,
he met like how I'm mentally doing versus how I'm
physically doing.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Okay, Instantly people thought, oh my god, cancer's back.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
What's going on? Yeah, it's coming to get her. But no,
there's still no trace of cancer. But I'm still considered
stage four and I'm still an immunotherapy, so essentially nothing's
changed other than I still I feel great. I really
like I would hope that I would be feeling better
(01:26):
by now, but I really don't, do you.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
I would imagine just being on medication and doing an immunotherapy.
It's got to take a toll on your body.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
I think it takes a toll on my body. And
I think that I also didn't properly process all of
the things that happened when I had surgery, like from
my divorce to all of a sudden being in emergency surgery,
to you know, not being able to see my kids
when I was recovering. I think all of those things
(01:58):
are starting to finally hit me now doing therapy, and
so it's it's taken its total on me.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
It's been almost a year. Next month, it'll be a
year since we were at Super Bowl, my cancerversary.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Yeah, so, I mean, and it takes a while for
your brain to heal after you've had such a traumatic
brain surgery.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah. And I've you know, learned that there's certain things
like that it's hard for me to touch and move
and I can see that I'm slower than I was before,
and that's really frustrating to me, Like I want to
be back to the way I used.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
To, I know, and you're very hard on yourself. Do
you think that the surgery is really what's done that,
Like it's kind of affected your motor skills a little
bit and it just takes time for your brain to heal.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Yeah. I think that that is a big part of it.
And then I think the immuni therapy part is just
why I feel kind of exhausted.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
But I think mentally, you win from I'm fighting for
my life to getting that scan that said there's no
tumors detected, and then it was like, Okay, now I
can process what I'm going through. But before I'm just
trying to live.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
That's exactly I mean, you nail that. I mean I
was really fighting for my life, and when I was,
I felt different. Then Yeah, now that the storm has
calmed a little.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Bit, now you're processing everything, and.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Now I'm starting to develop fear where I didn't have
fear before, Like I have fear to do a lot
of things.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Like what's your fear, what's your biggest fear.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Like well one that cancer is going to come back?
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Oh yeah, but like but you did you can't think
like that. I know it's easier said than done, but other.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Than that, like I mean, I haven't even taken any
ubers by myself, like I don't feel super self sufficient.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Yeah, it's just going to take time. It's going to
take time. You're doing, I mean so great. But I
did see a change in you after you did get
that oh no, tumors detected, and then you kind of
went you took steps backwards after that, in my opinion
as your friend, and then all because I remember asking
you like, was that a huge relief?
Speaker 2 (04:15):
And you go no, yeah, and that's when I took
the month off.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Yeah you're like, no, it's not. Now I have to
process everything I've gone through and now it's really hit
me what I'm going through.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yeah. Yeah, so's every day is a new day. But
you know, we don't want to be Debbie Downers on
the pod.
