I mean you said you got Elijah at home. Uh.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Because they they're holding player Hell practices, which is crazy.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
But we didn't do that when we didn't do that
when I was in college. Because they don't. They don't.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
They work more than we did, like and it's like
workout culture. Like we wanted to get a break, they
don't want breaks.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
They don't want breaks.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
It's weird, man, these these these dudes nowadays. It's like
the working out aspect of it, the training aspect of
it is is it's like.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Every day twenty four.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
Yeah, they love doing it. And good for them, you
know that's there's work ethic. Yeah, that's good. Good for them.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
It's probably why they better than us. Uh.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
We're waiting to get a hold of TJ. Hopefully we
can get that figured out, but we'll we'll bring him
in if we can get that technical issue handled. Let's
jump into it. PLEXA. The Brandon Ayyuk situation. I got
it labeled as lighting money on fire. Obviously, I U
his daily Instagram war on the forty nine ers, no agent,
(03:18):
no seeming plan here unless he's verbal Kent and kaiser
soul say, where he's convincing the world that you know,
he doesn't exist by by being verbal Kent. Uh, that
could be what it is. But the bottom line is
he's trying to It sounds like he's trying to force
his way into Washington. We got a little bit of
sound on that perfect do we got that queued up?
(03:42):
Do we have do we have the sound on a
U queued up. If not, don't worry about we can
we can jump right into it with with plex yay, nay,
give me a yeah, okay, I know that that we'll
get to the sound. But let me know when we
got it. But but plex, Tom Pelasero said, he hopes
that he's not unwell. Sets the take aside, set setting,
(04:06):
takes aside.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Do you laugh at.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
Something like this, like what we're seeing and how are
you doing? What is he ultimately trying to accomplish with
these posts outside of obviously the obviously it seems like
he's trying to force himself out of San fran But
do you worry about him as a brother or do
you look at this as you know, he's he's he's
strategically doing it soundly.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
I look at it as Brandy you simply does not
want to be in San Francisco. I mean, he said it.
Obviously it's evident with the actions that he has been
taken with this organization, you know, not showing to the facility,
being late, basically refusing to practice or we don't know
if he's one hundred percent so all these things up
(04:56):
in there. But if I'm the San Francisco forty nine.
It's just just just stop petty about this whole situation.
He doesn't want to be there, but you as an organization,
you don't want to cut him because you want something
for him. So he has value, so you don't want
to release him. And I think that's the whole thing
with Kyle Shanahan and UH and John Lynch being a
(05:20):
general manager. They want something from him. They don't want
Brandon and I to be a member of this football team.
But on the flip side of it, San Francisco could
suspend him or basically suspend him with conduct detrimental to
the team, which they will force him not to play
(05:41):
and not pay him. That's another way to basically recoup
some of the money that they will have to pay Brandon.
You wing forward, But if your other team's looking at
this situation just like you said, could be it could
(06:01):
be a mental thing.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
We don't know.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
But until somebody comes out and says something about Brandon Ayut,
is he healthy, Is he going through something mental? We
don't know, but I do know that it does not
look good good look good to the other teams that
will be pursuing him. You know, no matter what happens
(06:24):
when he leaves San Francisco. But I just think the
best thing for for for this whole entire situation is
just for John Lynch and the organization just to basically
wash their hands of Brandon Ayut, move on.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
And just just just go forward.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
But they want something for from him, and it's going
to get into an ugly situation because as long as
he keeps showing up, they're gonna have to pay him.
So they're gonna have to make a decision with what
they want to do with Brandon and I moving forward.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Here's the sound on Brandon Ayut.
Speaker 6 (06:59):
And if I'm crazy or if I'm kepping, some boys
cut me today and I'll signed with the Commandags tomorrow
and we'll see who gebbi. I do not have an agent.
I terminated my SRA with my previous agent due to the
NFLPA last year in November.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
Okay, so here we go plex four year, one hundred
and twenty million dollar deal. He tears his ACL mcl
jackson's meniscus up the same year, October twenty twenty four.
He's been out of the game for almost two years,
twenty months to be exact. As he mentioned, he fired
his agent, Ryan Williams in November. He was dealing with
(07:44):
an arrest warrant. Exhibition of speed is what it was called.
He's been placed on the reserved left squad list, hasn't
filed reinstatement papers which he's needed to Your boy, Emmanuel
Acho came out and said as much. End quote Antonio
(08:05):
Brown trajectory without the talent. Ye I gotta ask this
when you see a guy handle this the way and
you kind of touched on it and maybe you know
it's the same same thing. But I mean, you're obviously
trying to create a forced situation for them to let
(08:30):
you go. Now, with that being said, you have no agent,
you haven't filed any grievances.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
There.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
There was a time frame where he could have filed
with the PA to fight for the twenty six million
dollars guarantee that was canceled by the Niners.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
He did not do so.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
And that is where the lighting money on fire concept
comes from. For the conversation, plex, I just think that
this is complex. Here's the reason why. Yes, the it
has obviously run its course for and the Niners. Yes,
they want to get trade value out of Brandon Ay.
It seems like a chess match. Brandon Ayuk is driving
(09:08):
his value all the way down where there literally is
no trade value for Brandon I you, especially for the
idea of coming off of an arrest warrant and you
haven't played for almost two years after a major, major injury.
That's something that in my estimation, if I'm Brandon ay You,
I'm not burning bridges just for the simple fact that
I haven't played and people don't know what I got
(09:30):
going on after the surgery of such a major deal
with an ACL and an MCL. Listen, I know teammates
have come out and said that he can still play.
You heard Kittle said. People have seen them move around,
they say he can still play. But by framing it
this way, here's what becomes complicated. You can't allow if
you're a GM, if you're the league, if you're a franchise,
(09:53):
you can allow a player to actually dictate the terms
of how they're going to come or how they're going
to to go. And if Brandon and I can actually
verbal his way out of this, walk out of the precinct,
walk towards his car and turn back into Kaiser Souls,
who was really the main guy the whole entire time
(10:15):
that was the mythical figure. If he's actually able to
pull off a real life usual Suspects situation here, then
don't you get copycats?
Speaker 2 (10:25):
Don't you?
Speaker 4 (10:26):
Don't you create a new trend because the NBA, the
NBA does this all the time, So why wouldn't it
become commonplace in the NFL If the GM, if John Lynch,
if Kyle Shanahan, the head coach at the forty nine Ers,
the franchise allow for this to take place, don't you
think this may set a dangerous precedence for moving forward.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
I don't think it's going to set a dangerous president
moving forward. I'm thinking because I think it's the situation
between these two being the forty nine Ers in Brandon Au.
I mean, just two years ago we were talking about
him being the best, one of the best wide receiver
was in all of football. He suffers a major knee injury,
and I think that he's not burning bridge. He's already
(11:11):
burnt this bridge, this Golden Gate bridge up with the
forty nine Ers, that bridge that's gone. It's decimated. So
I just think with him moving forward, long as he
can show other teams that he can still play the
position at a high level. I believe anybody will sign them.
(11:31):
I really believe that, because they're going to put all
of these things to the side, and you know how
it goes in this league. All it comes down to
is going out doing what you're supposed to do and
performing on Sundays. If he gets on the football field
and he's one hundred percent healthy and he can go
out and show that he can play, I believe that
(11:52):
he will play this year. And being the fact that
he does not have an agent, obviously he has all
the information that he knows that nobody else does. So
if he says that, go ahead and cut me. If
you're the San Francisco forty nine ers, if you think
I'm capping, I'm gonna sign with the the Washington Commanders
the next day. He knows something because they're speaking directly
(12:16):
to him. He doesn't have an agent, no Adam schefteron,
no nobody can report on it because he's his own agent.
So I don't I want to see what's going to
happen moving forward. But I just think for the San
Francisco forty nine ers, he has their hands tied because
he is showing us and everybody else in this league
(12:38):
that he has value to the San Francisco forty nine
Ers to the point to where they do not want
to release him. So that says enough about Brandon Ayut
and the San Francisco forty nine Ers as a whole.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
He's still a top ten receiver in the league. Yes,
Like he's still got to be ranked a top ten
receiver even now.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
Absolutely right.
Speaker 4 (13:01):
So So with that being said, you got it to me.
My conclusion is, if you're a GM, right, the he's
he's a real asset that you can actually trade. But
the fact that he would go and be willing to
scorch earth the way that he is, you gotta believe
that with the elements are Jaydon Daniels. It's reported that
(13:25):
they're best friends, uh and super close. And you got
the GM for for the UH for the commanders that
knows uh, he knows who Brandon and I youk is
they they have history together. So maybe there is some
validity to that, but I think that's still kind of
messy business, messy action to put them out there like
(13:48):
that until you get things handled with the team you're
currently with.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Ultimately, if you're doing.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
That, I would assume that John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan
and we're like, Okay, well, if you think that's what
you're gonna do, we're not gonna let you do that.
That's the NFC. We're not going to just let you
go and go to the NFC. And then the second
point I would make super quickly is that will he
sign for a league minimum?
Speaker 2 (14:15):
I can't believe.
Speaker 4 (14:16):
After this type of situation a team is going to
trust him enough to pay him real dollars. So he's
gonna have to come in at most likely a league minimum,
a veteran league minimum to play. How long is that for?
Is that a one year deal? Once he does that
one year? How does that all work?
Speaker 2 (14:32):
You know what I mean? Like, where do you go
from there? Is Brandon?
Speaker 4 (14:35):
I you going to turn into the brand and I
you that they dealt with in San fran Once we
pay him, it's always going to be the Antonio Brown,
the George Pickens, those types of conversations where you're saying,
what are you.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
Going to get when he gets his money?
Speaker 4 (14:52):
If this is how he's acting right now, and that
to me, that becomes dangerous.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
P super quick you got the last word on it.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
Breanda A's already been paid, you know. I just think
he just wants out of San Francisco, is evident. But
the bigger question is, if you're to San Francisco forty
nine ers, why will you not release him? That is
the question that everybody wants to know.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
All right.

he will not be on to be me and stretch

coming in in hour or two of the show.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
But we're in the danger zone. You know.
Speaker 4 (17:11):
We we only need to to fly to jet you
know what I mean, So we'll we'll knock it down. Okay,
let's get to it. Se QB pay Freeze, gotta ask you,
plex You get two former top draft pick quarterbacks, but
they can't get extensions. But then you see a DT,
(17:34):
a defensive tackle who just got one hundred million guaranteed.
Has the league gotten smart or has the league gotten disrespectful?
It always seems like it's the next man up, a
defensive tackle getting that type of guaranteed money. But two
former first rounders eligible to get their contracts extended and redone,
(17:58):
you got to ask the question, you know, what's this
all about.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
It's simply about are your franchise quarterback and are you
going to be able to form and help help your
organization and team win football games. I mean, that's what
it comes down to. And you're looking at this situation
between c J. Stroud and Bryce Young are now going
into the final year of their contracts. Both of these
(18:26):
guys were drafted one two and looking back at it,
I bet the Carolina Panthers wish they would have taken CJ.
Stroud instead of Bryce Young. But that's all water under
the bridge at this point. And just like he said recently,
you know, over the last I don't know what is it,
five or six years, maybe it seems like it has
been the next man up, because you know, just because
(18:48):
you're the next man up, you've become the highest paid
player and at your position, and didn't used to be
that way, but it seems that that is how the
NFL and these teams are operating today. It's just, oh,
you can just have a sub part season, have six
hundred yard receiving and you get a hundred million dollars.
I mean, that's what has been going on what we've
(19:11):
been seeing with these contracts that these players have been getting.
In reference to Bryce Young, you know, you can't blame
the Krolina Panthers because can you sit here and say
that he has been a franchise quarterback over his tenure
of being a starting quarter quarterback of this team. No,
(19:32):
he hasn't. I mean he only has a career with
thirty seven touchdowns and twenty five interceptions. I mean that's
not you know, eye popping numbers that jump off the
page and just say that, you know, he's a fifty
five sixty million dollars year quarterback. I don't believe that
you can say that. So the keronl Ala Panthers that
basically taking a stance of you know what, we're going
(19:54):
to see how you go out and you performed this year.
It's more of a make up break gear Bryce Young
that it is c J. Stroud Because since c J.
Stroud has taken over being the starting quarterback for the
Houston Texans, they have been a contender in the AFC,
They won the AFC West, they they've gotten into the playoffs,
but the Carolina Panthers have not. So both of these
(20:18):
quarterbacks are on two different spectrums. I think when it
comes to contract, we all we can say that c J.
Stroud is going to be a franchise quarterback, He's going.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
To get paid.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
And you looking at Bryce Young, what are the Carolina
Panthers going to do moving forward? Because I believe that
c Z. Stroud will get paid before Bryce Young. And
does that automatically mean that that Bryce Young is going
should receive more money than c J. Stroud just because
(20:50):
he's the number one pick. I don't believe. So, So
it's a make up break year I believe for Bryce Young,
and he's going to have to go out and show
the Carolina Panthers that he is their franchise quarterback forward.
Speaker 4 (21:00):
It leads me down the road plex of wondering, do
you do you push? Do you put your feet in
the ground, do you do you set the line. Do
you put the flag in and say yet, I'm not
doing anything until you pay me, or do you bet
on yourself and go after it. Then it led me
to the next thought was, Okay, well, they do have
(21:22):
a choice. They could hold out, They they could fight,
They could they could make it very uncomfortable to to
force an extension.
Speaker 3 (21:31):
Young does not have that leverage to sit out.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
Okay, So here's what it made me think about who's
backing them up?
Speaker 2 (21:38):
Right?
Speaker 4 (21:38):
So in Houston, it's Davis Mills. In Carolina for Bryce Young,
it's Kenny Picker. Are these backups good enough in your
estimation to say, I'm going to I'm going to bet
on the fact that A there are no free agents
out there that are are in my estimation good enough.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
To bring in and be the starter.
Speaker 4 (22:04):
That's just an estimation, getestimation, but that's what I'm gonna
lean on. I'm gonna say, there's no there's nobody out
there that's worth going out and getting right now. Maybe
Russell Wilson, but I mean it's not an upgrade. I
don't know. But then you look at Davis Mills, you
look at Kenny Pickett. Are these guys able to be
(22:24):
the starting quarterback that makes you good enough for the year.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Obviously, a lot of people are high on this.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
Upcoming draft of quarterbacks coming out, and Carolina could be
in that that sweet stakes, but the Houston Texans will not.
They're too good of a team, They're too close. I'm
assuming if I'm CJ. Stroud, I'm taking advantage of the
fact that we are close. I'm gonna lean more towards
saying I had a bad playoff run. It's happened with
(22:52):
quarterbacks before, high profile quarterbacks, where they've had bad runs,
bad stretches in the playoffs. I mean, there's some very
high profile name that you could throw into that pool
of players. I'm not sitting here saying you can't you
you can't treat me like I'm not your franchise quarterback
at CJ. Stroud just because I had a bad playoff
(23:14):
run this year. That's not going to work. So to me,
I don't know that these backups are good enough plex
to actually say, well, you have no real leverage to
say you're not coming in to play because this guy
could potentially displace you, and now you're in a worse
situation coming out of your rookie contract.
Speaker 2 (23:33):
I don't see that at all. I don't.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
I don't think Meals or Kenny Pickett are starting quarterbacks
for either one of these football teams. And I don't
believe that a CJ. Stroud, you know it thinking it's
thinking along the lines that you know the possibility of
sitting out. I don't think that, you know, he's going
(23:56):
to take, you know, that kind of road to get
his track up. Like you said, the Houston Technics are
a very good football team. I mean their Super Bowl contender.
I think that they will probably go out and win
the division again this year. But on the flip side,
you're looking at Bryce Young, you know, from a contract
standpoint moving forward, if you're the Carolina Panthers and you
(24:20):
do not make the playoffs this year, how can you
move forward with Bryce Young as being your franchise quarterback?
Just like you said, they will definitely probably be in
the mix of next year's draft, of they're going to
have to make a decision, are we going to move
forward with Bryce Young and as our franchise quarterback? Knowing
(24:43):
that they're going to have some top tier quarterbacks in
the twenty twenty seven draft. So it's I think it's
plain and simple for the Carolina Panthers. I don't believe
that after this year, regardless of what happens, at least
unless Bryce Young goes out and leaves the Carolina Panthers
to NFC Championship game or to a World championship. I
(25:07):
just don't see them moving forward based off of what
we have seen from him, you know, over the over
the last few years as being a starting quarterback for
this organization.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
Up next, the Brendan Soresby gambling saga hits a dead end.
Uh Man, he gave up his college football season to
go pro and the NFL said no. Another one latest
said no as well. We're going to take a quick
quick stop to get a trending an update from our guy,
(25:41):
the man, the myth, the legend, sister I loo Isaac
Lohan Crawn and after that we'll talk sowreds b what
you got out low.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Hey, lebarn pluck.
Speaker 8 (25:49):
Let's start with the World Cup On Friday night, Egypt
and Iran playing to a one to one draw, Iron
had the potential game winning goal guys and second half
stoppage time overturned by Vaar because of offside Egypt therefore
advances to the knockout round. They'll face Australia. A Ron's
hope still alive, but they need help to advance. Also
Friday night, Guys Belgium defeated New Zealand five to one
(26:10):
to advance to the knockout stage and win Group G
behind two goals from Leandro Trossard. New Zealand's been eliminated.
Today's action kicks off at five pm Eastern England against
Panama in New Jersey. England can advance with a win
or a tai Panama's already been eliminated. Also at five
pm Eastern, Ghana meets Croatia in Philadelphia. Ghana can advance
(26:31):
with a win or tie. Croatia can advance with the win.
In Major League Baseball Friday night, the Los Angeles Angels
fire general manager at Perry Menazian and named former Saint
Louis Cardinals GM John Mozeylock as their interim GM. The
San Diego Padres defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers seven to one.
Padres on a four game winning streak, Walker Buehler getting
(26:51):
the win against his former team. The Atlanta Braves victorious
at San Francisco, three to one to break a four
game losing streak. Eyes, I think this will be an
entertaining discussion that you're about to have.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
I'd even bet on it back to you. Too soon,
Too soon.
Speaker 4 (27:11):
I'll see and that's rolling rolling a curveball right down
the center.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
All right.
Speaker 4 (27:48):
The dead end one in court got the injunction was
set and seemingly ready to play against all odds at
Texas Tech. But then it got really really loud. Texas
Tech was defending him. Things went left. He gave up
his college season to chase. The NFL went away from
(28:09):
the lawsuit, and the league shut it down. No supplemental draft,
no season four Swordsby this coming year, he puts his
name into the Canadian Football League to do the same
exact thing. They don't want to have no parts of it.
So seemingly it's funny. We come out of a segment
(28:30):
one where we're talking about a player who becomes radio active.
Now second second time around during the course of this hour,
another player, another conversation about a radio active guy. He
bet on his own team, he got banned. You know,
he won in court, as I mentioned, gave it up.
(28:52):
Thinks he's getting supplemental, doesn't get it. These are some
of the biggest self inflicted disaster wombs that you could
could ever imagine. But is it self inflicted more than
it is? Scapegoat plex? Which which one do you you
go with?
Speaker 3 (29:10):
Man? When I first heard the news that he would
not be able to enter the sumple up draft, I
didn't even know that be NFL could make the decision
for you for to not allow you into the draft.
I mean that that's a that's a big blow for
him and his agent because just like you said, I mean,
(29:30):
we go back to the whole story. You know, Uh,
he he admitted himself into Gamba rehab. I have an issue.
I have a problem, and he kind of thought that
that was going to you know, fix his situation moving forward,
and then he uh, the n c double A says
he can play, and then they come back and says,
you know what, uh, you won't. Then he said that, uh,
(29:53):
I'm just going to forgo Texas Tech because he was
receiving a lot of scrutiny the.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
School people coming.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
Out and saying that the Big twelve commissioner should suspend him.
So he forfeits his collar season and in the NFL's
supplemental draft denies him, you know, to be to go
into the draft. So I don't think will he play
football in twenty twenty six, We don't know. But the
question that I want to ask you is, can't an
(30:26):
NFL team sign him as an an undrafted or a
free agent off the street?
Speaker 2 (30:33):
Can't they do that?
Speaker 4 (30:35):
I think he has to go through a process where
he fouls to being stated. He's not a part of
the NFL. He's not an employee of the NFL, and
I would think, based off of the ruling against them.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
Perceivably there might be a loophole.
Speaker 4 (30:54):
But I don't think that a team would touch him
under the current circumstances. And I think that that's the
bigger the bigger conversation point is, even if he were
able to be signed, I think he has to be
in stated uh and and he has to file the
like somebody has to file those papers. He has to
(31:14):
go through the process.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
Uh. And I don't think the NFL is going to
touch that. And so I think the.
Speaker 4 (31:21):
Quick answer is, yes, there is the I believe through
that process he could get onto a team as a
free agent.
Speaker 3 (31:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:29):
The NFL do sign guys like off the street.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
So what is different in his situation if a team
just wants to say we want to sign Brendan Soursby.
So I don't think it's anything different, uh than did the.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
Teams anybody else bring him in for a workout.
Speaker 3 (31:52):
For a workout and sign.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
Him and see if you can sign him. I'm looking
it up. Uh.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
And that that would be the real still for NFL team.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
Which it would be.
Speaker 4 (32:03):
I think it states that all right again, And I
feel like this is complex because of the situation that
took place. But as far as any professional league allows
teams to sign street free agents players who are currently
not under contract, however, the rules for who is eligible
(32:27):
to be signed off the street very drastically by sport.
The true random guys off the street generally aren't eligible
without pro experience. I'm not certain so in the NFL
unrestricted free agents, which if you're unrestricted and you're a
free agent, I'm assuming that they're they're basing that off
(32:49):
of you already having some type of something fouled and
connected to the league. I'm not sure if it's like, Okay,
you know, your brother says I want to go try
for team today, and how that process works, I don't know.
But it does say veterans with four or more accured
seasons can be signed directly by any team at any
(33:12):
time once they are released waiver system. That's, younger players
and those who are fewer than four a cured seasons
must first pass through NFL waivers. We know about that.
During his forty eight hour window, any team can claim
the current contract. If not, he goes unclaimed, he's a
(33:33):
street free agent.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
Draft rule.
Speaker 4 (33:35):
To be eligible to sign in the NFL, a player
is generally required to have gone through at least one
draft or have exhausted their college eligibility. That's probably where
Swordsby falls. He did his college eligibility was taken away, well,
it was taken away right he didn't exhaust it, it
(33:57):
was taken away and eligibility to sign in the NFL
was basically revoked when they didn't drafting. So I would
say the answer is no, he's not going to play. Okay,
So there's that, just real quick, because we're up against
the break. What's what do you feel is next? What
(34:18):
what makes sense for Swordsby? He fought to get back
on the field. To me, I think this is a
bigger deal, a bigger issue that we should be talking
about what he's done to end up I mean involving
your schools. You're wagering against your schools. You're not just wagering,
you're wagering against your schools.
Speaker 2 (34:36):
And and these are.
Speaker 4 (34:37):
The things that ended up coming out that you know,
blew up, blew up your career quickly. What you what's
next for Swordsby? If this is the situation, what advice
do you give being in this situation?
Speaker 3 (34:49):
I mean, what's next is all he can do is
just pretty much, uh, you know, work on the skills
and you continue to get better for next year's draft,
because looking at this whole situation, the NFL has denied him,
you know, entry to the supplemental draft and the Canadian
Football League doesn't want to deal with him. Also, I
just think that he's not going to be able to
(35:10):
play football this year, and he's going to look forward
to the next season.
Speaker 4 (35:14):
I make sure I document this next year and do
as much giving back and showing that there's there is
an awareness and a true feeling of remorse and asking
for forgiveness, but also building up yourself while building up
your community. Serving and giving back never goes wrong. Whether
(35:35):
your million it or not, it never goes wrong because
you still got to put in the time to even
be able to claim it. That's what I'd say. Build
your brand this upcoming year. Stay strong, get yourself mentally
strong and prepared to be able to do it physically.
I'm not sure that's going to even be the problem.
It's everything else coming up next well, Stephanie White, she says,
(35:57):
the league let her start get cheap shot.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
Is the w.
Speaker 4 (36:01):
NBA failing to protect Caitlyn Clark? Hmm, you say, Up
on Game, We'll be coming back with that on the
other side of this break, Fox Sports Radio, all right,
welcome back into the show. This is up on Game.
Got my managed stretch otherwise known as Plexico Burr is
with me. We got cuffs coming up in moments. He'll
(36:23):
be joining us at the top of the hour. TJ
is off today. All good, All right, I promised it.
Kitlyn Clark w NBA flash Point feverhead coach Stephanie White
called the fouls on Caitlyn Clark cheap shots, Boomer assassin,
(36:43):
you know, Boomer he floated out, Clark going overseas. You'll
be able to hear both of them right now. First,
let's take a listen to Stephanie White, the coach, on
talking about hits on Caitlin.
Speaker 9 (36:58):
I mean, the fist in the throat is crazy, it's crazy,
it's dangerous. The landing spot when you went to review
it and she still comes down on top of another foot,
like I don't know, because to me, that's like a
do over on a test. How do you screw it
up again? You're coming in here aware of what happened
two nights ago.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
And that still happens.
Speaker 9 (37:17):
Absolutely unacceptable, Absolutely unacceptable. And the reckless close out that
they actually reviewed and the foot still comes down on
top of the defender's foot that wasn't upgraded, absolutely disrespectful.
We have a generational talent and a WNBA superstar who
had two cheap shots right there that weren't called. And
(37:38):
I just say, again, absolutely unacceptable.
Speaker 1 (37:41):
I was more.
Speaker 5 (37:42):
Surprised that it wasn't seen by the officials in real time.
You know, I think the the eye discipline, for lack
of a better term, sometimes I feel like all the
officials are watching the ball and nobody's watching the play.
You have a player that's down on the ground, Certainly
some things are going to happen. So I was I
was very disappointed that they didn't see that.
Speaker 4 (38:01):
Uh just honestly speaking, plex she ain't wrong, that's it's
not inaccurate what she's saying. But here before you comment,
because Boomer on his show.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
What is It?
Speaker 4 (38:17):
Bo Uh Boomer and ge O, here's what Boomer.
Speaker 2 (38:22):
As Sizin had to say about the situation.
Speaker 10 (38:25):
By what Caitlin Clark, I would seriously consider going to
play overseas somewhere and get the royal treatment and get
real money from the Saudis from somewhere.
Speaker 1 (38:34):
I mean, she can't go to the Saudis.
Speaker 10 (38:36):
Well, she can't go to the Russians either, as we
saw that. You know, Britney Grinder got stuck.
Speaker 1 (38:39):
There she did well, yeah in jail, right, so he
can't take that money from Pith.
Speaker 10 (38:44):
But a lot of the women actually do play, you know,
in European leagues because they supplement their income. But now
supposedly their income is going up here. And I know
that Caitlin makes a ton of money off the court
in terms of endorsements, and rightfully so. But I think
that there's a petty, petty jealousy. And she's a straight
white basketball player, and it's she is not being treated
(39:07):
with any sort of respect whatsoever.
Speaker 4 (39:10):
Y'all better respect that straight white woman. I mean, he
got down the business about what he felt. All right,
we got two minutes left in this segment, plex, I
don't know if that's enough time.
Speaker 2 (39:26):
To unpack it.
Speaker 4 (39:27):
Maybe we'll bring cuffs in on the conversation as well.
But what's your what's your take on it? Is?
Speaker 3 (39:32):
It?
Speaker 2 (39:32):
Is it gone? Has it gone across the line? I don't.
Speaker 4 (39:35):
I think wherever she goes she's going to have that
type of tension. It's going to be the same player
she's playing against right now overseas as well. So I
don't feel feel like that's the most you know, grounded
or or you know back by reason conclusion to come
to but it has it gone across the line with
how how Caitlyn Clark's being treated.
Speaker 2 (39:56):
I believe so.
Speaker 3 (39:57):
I mean, we saw the act with Listen Thomas the
other day that was egregious, no doubt about it fits
to the throw. But to Caitlyn Clark, you know, she
eggs on these players. You know, she gets in their
face and she gets to a point to where she
doesn't cross the line, and then the players react and
(40:20):
then then they do cross the line with her because
I think that she knows that she can get away
with certain things because she is Kate and Clark. But
she has done a lot for basketball to w NBA,
She's one of the main reasons why they got a
whole new CBA and the girls are getting paid more.
Speaker 2 (40:36):
But it is out of line.
Speaker 3 (40:39):
These girls are roughing up and some of these acts
that she has been fouled egregiously. They just got a
referee her better.
Speaker 4 (40:49):
Where all the white women that all NBA all hour
to touch the legend in the building Minnesota and LaMelo
have We're gonna talk Giannis as well.
Speaker 2 (41:00):
This is Fox Sports Radio.
