Speaker 1 (00:01):
We're quickly approaching the endgame of President Trump's plan that
have put into effect almost immediately when he came into office.
We've been applying a maximum pressure campaign on Iran's oil
exports to cut off the sources of the regime's funding.
The Iranian leadership has been hurting the people. They have
(00:23):
been spreading the money around the globe.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
For proxy wars.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
If you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
Ben ferguson.
Speaker 4 (00:31):
Good Thursday morning, nice to have you with us on
the forty seven Morning Update, and we've got two major
stories for you. First up, President Donald Trump and the
issue of Iran. Iran is now threatening to kill the
President of the United States of America. So what is
the president response and what's happening on the ground, and
will military action actually happen at the hands of the
(00:51):
President and his orders will break that all down for you.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
In a moment.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Also, we had a big day at the Supreme Court
yesterday dealing with women and men and sports, especially transgenders
trying to take over women sports. Well, now we had
an even bigger day on Capitol Hill, but this time
the radicals on the left sid doctors who can't even
explain if a man can get pregnant.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
It was truly incredible.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
And we have the audio you have to hear. But
first I want to tell you about our friends over
Patriot Mobile. Every so often, something happens that reminds us
just how fragile our freedoms are. We can't afford to
take our rights for granted. We must draw a line
in the sand, and our friends at Patriot Mobile have
been doing just that for more than twelve years. The
(01:40):
truth is there is only one provider that boldly stands
in the gap for Americans who believe freedom is worth
fighting for, and that company is Patriot Mobile. Not only
are they leading the red economy, they're also outpacing the
competition and technology. Patriot Mobile is one of the only
carriers offering premium access to all three major US networks,

on day after day. They also offer unlimited data plans,

minutes on your phone from your home or your office,
and you keep your same number. You've got now keep
(02:26):
your same phone or upgrade to a new one. And
this is where the magic happens. Every month, about five
percent of your bill is given back to conservative causes
at no extra cost to you that stand up for
our First and our Second Amendment rights, the rights of
unborn children, and are wounded warriors and those that have
fought for a country and wear a badge.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
So take a stand today.

(03:12):
make the switch today. It's a forty seven Morning Update
and it starts right now.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Story number one.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Thousands have been killed in Iran by the Iranian regime.
We know that the President and Marco Rubio with the
State Department have been ratching up the pressure on Randa
stop those killings. The White House earlier today was very
busy as the President said this from the Oval Office
about the latest of what he's being told is happening
(03:40):
on the ground.
Speaker 5 (03:42):
We've been told that the killing in Iranda is stopping.
It's stopped and stopping, and there's no plan for executions
or an execution or executions.
Speaker 6 (03:54):
So I've been to ald that a good authority.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
We'll find out about it. The President wasn't done there.
The President and is also now putting major pressure on Iran.
Donald Trump has canceled meetings with Iranian officials, impose a
twenty five percent tariff on countries doing business with Iran,
and suggested that help is on its way for the protesters,
a phrase he has used to signal potential diplomatic or
(04:19):
even military operations, and the President was also asked about
that and said clearly military options absolutely remain on the table.
The White House also say they have not ruled out
military action, and there have been warnings from US officials
that very strong responses would follow if Iranian authorities carried
(04:39):
out executions or continued mass killings. Trump's national security team
has been reviewing a range We're being told to potential responses,
including military air strikes. Now, military precautions are also part
of what we're.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Talking about right now.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
Some US personnel in the Middle East have been advised
to reloc ok I make concerns about possible retaliation if
the US were to take action. Iran has also warned
that it would respond to any US strikes. And then
there's been the global reaction beyond the US. European nations
have summoned the Iranian ambassadors, and a bipartison group of
(05:18):
US lawmakers is pushing for measures such as restoring internet
access in Iran to help the free flow of information,
as well as for those on the ground to organize. So,
in short, there's a lot happening in Iran, a lot
that we don't know about because of the blackout of
the Internet and the phones.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
But one thing is for sure.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
The President is putting maximum pressure on Iran and is
making it clear there's a very good chance military action
could be taken against the leadership Iran's authorities are violently suppressing.
We also know large protests and that has already led
to thousands.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Of deaths and detentions.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
President Trump and the White House not only condemning the
crackdown but calling out the rest of the world, saying
it is time for them to stand up to Iran
as well. The White House also keeping diplomatic and military
options on the table. The present clearly working the room
in every direction he can. US policy responses remained fluid
(06:15):
and under review, as the global pressure is also starting
to mount from other countries that are finally getting on board.
One thing's for sure. All eyes are on Iran, all
eyes are on Tehran, and all eyes are on America
as well. There's many reports now coming out of Iran
that they believe more than fifteen thousand victims may have
(06:37):
either been killed or abducted by the government. There's also
clearly a united front in the US. For example, Representative
Carlos humane As, a Republican from Florida on the Householdland
Security Committee, said this about Congress.
Speaker 5 (06:53):
It won't be boots on the ground, but the United
States has demonstrated to the people around the world that
we can touch you anywhere at any time of our choosing.
And when the President is saying that he's going to
have their back, I would heed his words. This president,
when he makes statements like that, usually follows up. And
(07:14):
so when he's saying to the protesters, keep on protesting
because we're going to have your back, I believe this
president is going to have their back.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
There's one thing that is for sure. President Trump has
the back of the people that are celebrating in the
streets in Iran and advocating and fighting for their freedom.
There's also another interesting part of this story. Iran has
explicitly threatened to murder President Donald Trump. In the last
twenty four hours, Iranian state TV aired threats against Donald Trump,
(07:43):
saying this time the bullet won't miss, referring to the
attempted assassination of President Donald Trump on the campaign trail.
And even with that happening, it's obvious that the President
of United States of America is making sure that this
isn't personal, but about national secure and about protecting the
people who are trying to get their freedom right now
(08:05):
in the streets of Iran now.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Story number two.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Yesterday, in Washington, d C.
Speaker 4 (08:09):
There was a fight the Supreme Court over men in
women's sports, boys in girls' sports, and the ACLU could
not define what a woman even was in front of
the Supreme Court. While on Capitol Hill there was another
debate that will also shock you. There was a hearing
in the Senate held under the Health, Education, Labor, and
(08:32):
Pensions Committee, and it was officially focused on the safety
and regulation of abortion pills, including concerns about the use
of the medication mifipristone. Now, this drug has exploded after
the fall of ro v Wade, and as liberals are
trying to do everything they can to put abortions on
demand through pills. Republicans on the panels argued for stricter
(08:56):
oversight and regulations on how these drugs are prescribed and distributed.
Democrats are defending the existing policies and emphasize access as
they describe it to care or abortion on demand now.
A moment that drew national shock and attention involved Senator
Josh Holly, and he was questioning an OBGYN specialist, doctor
(09:19):
Nishe Verma, who was testifying on behalf of physicians for
reproductive health. The exchange centered on whether men can get pregnant,
a question Republicans pressed to highlight what they described as
scientific clarity around biological sex and the context of reproductive health.
Doctor Verma declined to answer with a simple yes or no. Instead,
(09:44):
there was this exchange, I want you to listen to
exactly what the Trump administration is up against and why
it's so important. We have leaders like Sener Holly and
others who are willing to ask simple questions, but demand
answer from the quote leaders of the radical left, including doctors.
Speaker 6 (10:05):
Thank you, mister chairman.
Speaker 7 (10:06):
Since you bring it up, why don't we to start there,
Doctor Verma, I wasn't sure I understood your answer to
Senator Moody a moment ago, do you think that men
can get pregnant?
Speaker 8 (10:13):
I hesitated there because I wasn't sure where the conversation
was going or what the goal was. I mean, I
do take care of patients with different identities. I take
care of many women. I take care of people with
different identities, and so that's where I paused. I think
I wasn't sure where you were going with that.
Speaker 6 (10:30):
Well, the goal is is the truth? So can men
get pregnant?
Speaker 9 (10:33):
Again?
Speaker 8 (10:33):
The reason I paused there is I'm not really sure
what the goal of the question.
Speaker 6 (10:37):
Goal is is to establish a biological reality.
Speaker 7 (10:39):
You just said a moment ago that science and evidence
should control, not politics.
Speaker 6 (10:44):
So let's just test that proposition. Can men get pregnant?
Speaker 9 (10:47):
I take care of people with many identities.
Speaker 6 (10:49):
But can men get pregnant?
Speaker 8 (10:51):
Many we women that can get pregnant. I do take
care of people that don't identify as women.
Speaker 6 (10:56):
Can can men get pregnant?
Speaker 9 (10:58):
Again, as I'm saying, let me let me just.
Speaker 7 (11:01):
Remind you you testified to a moment ago. Science and
evidence should control, not politics. So should can men get pregnant?
Speaker 8 (11:08):
You're a doctor at day, Science and evidence should guide medicine.
Speaker 7 (11:12):
I do science that evidence tell us that men can
get pregnant, biological men, can they get pregnant?
Speaker 8 (11:17):
I also think yes, no questions like this are a
political tool, and.
Speaker 6 (11:20):
No, yes, no questions are about the truth. Doctor.
Speaker 7 (11:22):
Let's not make a mockery of this proceeding. This is
about science and evidence. And I'm asking you. You know,
the United States Supreme Court just heard arguments yesterday at
great length on this question. This is not a hypothetical question.
This is not theoretical that affects real people in their
real lives. And you're here as an expert, called by
the other side as an expert, and you've been telling
(11:43):
us that you that you follow right, You're a doctor,
and you follow the science and the evidence. So I
just want to know, based on the science, can men
get pregnant? If that's a yes or no question, it
really is.
Speaker 8 (11:54):
I think I think you're trying to reduce the complexity.
Speaker 9 (11:57):
Of a low I'm not.
Speaker 7 (11:58):
I'm trying to get it's not complex. I'm trying to
get to an answer, and I'm trying to test, frankly,
your veracity as a medical professional and as a scientist.
Speaker 6 (12:07):
Can men get pregnant?
Speaker 9 (12:08):
I think you're also conflating this extraordinary.
Speaker 7 (12:11):
No, I'm not conflating male and female. There're two different things.
There's biological men and there's biological women. And I want
to know can men get pregnant?
Speaker 9 (12:20):
What you were talking about is biology.
Speaker 7 (12:23):
You're not going to answer my question iological males. This
isn't hard doctor. Can men get pregnant?
Speaker 6 (12:30):
Yes? Or no?
Speaker 9 (12:32):
I would be more.
Speaker 8 (12:33):
Than happy to have a conversation with you that is
not coming from a place of trying to be polarized
and pushing.
Speaker 6 (12:40):
I'm not trying to be polarizing. I'm trying to ask.
Speaker 7 (12:43):
I think it is extraordinary that we are here in
hearing about science and about women. And for the record,
it's women who get pregnant, not men. We are here
about the safety of women and science that shows that
this abortion drug causes adverse health events in eleven percent
(13:04):
of cases. That's twenty two times greater than the FDA label.
Another fact you haven't acknowledged, and yet you won't even
acknowledge the basic reality that biological men don't get pregnant.
There's a difference between biological men and biological women. I
just I don't know how we can take you seriously
and your claims to be a person of science, if
(13:24):
you won't level with this on this basic issue.
Speaker 6 (13:27):
I thought we were past all of this. Frankly, I
can't believe we're still here talking about this.
Speaker 8 (13:32):
I am a person of science, and I'm also someone
here who's here to represent the complex experiences of my patients.
And I don't think polarized languages, language, or questions serve
that goal.
Speaker 9 (13:44):
I don't think they serve the American.
Speaker 7 (13:46):
It is not polarizing to say that there is a
scientific difference between men and women. And I want this
to be clear and for the record, it is not
polarizing to say that women are a biological reality and
should be treated and protected as such. If that is
not polarizing, that is truth. It is also, by the way,
the United States Constitution, which offers unique protections to women
(14:07):
and a variety of circumstances as women, and your refusal
to recognize women as women and men as men is
deeply corrosive to science, to public trust, and yes to
constitutional protections for women as women. And I think it's
extraordinary that you would sit here in advance a political
agenda that has been thoroughly discredited and rejected by the
(14:29):
American people in this forum. And I'm glad we had
this exchange because it is exceptionally clarifying.
Speaker 6 (14:35):
It is also in many ways quite depressing.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
It is truly amazing the doctors like Miss Verma decline
or just simply can't answer if a man can get pregnant.
It is sad that we're having to spend the time
in Congress to answer the question about the biological reality
about men not being able to get pregnant and clarity
on a record. This also goes back to concerns about
(14:59):
the safe of women and abortion drugs for women who
are the only sex that can biologically become pregnant. The
good news is now conservatives and this White House are
on the offensive to make sure that these radicals are
held accountable for what they've been teaching and preaching and
the abuse that they've been doing to so many through
(15:21):
the idea that they are somehow administering medicine and reality
is they're just pushing a radical agenda.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
