Speaker 1 (00:02):
But all being way, you're tapped in a way up
with Angela Yee.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
What's up? His way up with Angela Yee, what's up?
Jasmine Brands? And I'm party that I'm ready, you ready,
I'm ready to hit the road. But today is a
Wednesday up here, so Wealth Wednesday, and we're going to
be talking to Ryan McCrary and Shanika Sparks. Now, Ryan
McCrary is the funnel Doctor, and what he does is
he's a digital marketing strategist. He helps entrepreneurs turn visibility
(00:32):
into consistent revenue through funnels, paid traffic and conversion systems.
So if you're wondering why your business is struggling online
or a way that you can amplify and convert some
of those clicks into sell thrus, he is the person
to talk to. And Shanika is somebody that called up
and actually put us on to Ryan McCrary. So we'll
(00:53):
be talking to him today for Wealth Wednesday. But when
we come back, let's do something special. Let's shine a light.
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty. You get
to shine a light, and I'm going to shine a
light on a reverend. You know, I've been saying I
want to go to church more. And I was in
church last Sunday, and we'll talk about the importance of
this particular reverend to his community. It's way up.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
Turn your lights on, y'all, light so it spreading love
to those who are doing greatness.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
Shine a light on them, Shine a light on them.
Speaker 4 (01:26):
It's time to shine a light on them.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (01:28):
His way up? But Angela, yee, Jasmine brand is here
with me. Yes, Jasmine, when's the last time you've been
to church.
Speaker 5 (01:33):
I have watched church online faithfully on like almost every Sunday,
so I think that counts.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Yeah, you know, I was saying that. I was like,
you know, we could look at things online, but I
feel like it was just a different vibe being in
church on Sunday.
Speaker 6 (01:46):
I prefer to be in church. So I agree with you.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
So I want to shout out to Reverend Horace Sheffield third.
He's the pastor of the New Destiny Christian Fellowship. Okay,
that's the church I went to in Detroit on Sunday.
How was it, Anny, Oh, it was amazing. And he's
also the CEO of the Detroit Association of Black Organizations
that's called DABO and what they do is they help
provide resources when it comes to healthcare, financial support, housing,
(02:11):
all of those things for the community. Sometimes there's a
big gap in what the government can provide for you
and what can be provided through organizations. And I think
with so many people losing funding and so many issues,
it's important that we have these institutions and resources that
are in the community and on the ground. But shout
out to Reverend Horace Sheffield. I mean he's a social
(02:32):
activist and most recently known as the Mayor's dad. Yeah,
Mayor Marriy Sheffield's dad. But I just want to say
that I appreciate him for having me at church. I
appreciate him for bringing me out there. It was quite
an inspirational sermon that we had a chance to hear.
So when I'm in Detroit, if I'm there on a Sunday,
that's where we got to go.
Speaker 6 (02:51):
You have a church home now, Yes, I have a
church home.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Now. Who do you guys want to spread some love
to and shine a light on? See one? What's good?
Who do you want to shine a light on?
Speaker 3 (03:00):
I want to shine a light on my wife. The
keys I've been with her since nineteen ninety seven. We
moved down to Va in two thousand and had our
first daughter, and we broke up in two thousand and
one or two. But I actually spend the block in
twenty twenty. Oh you know what I mean after eighteen years,
and we got back together and we kindled. But I'm
(03:21):
gonna shot a light on her because she's a really
strong woman, a strong individual to the simple self warrior.
She helped me be a better man. So to my wife,
to Keith, I really love your baby. I appreciate everything
you've always done for me. Wow on some black Queen's.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
I got to eighty. It worked out, Okay, Nellian is shinty.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
We see you.
Speaker 6 (03:45):
God is good even down here.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
I listened to y'all every morning like I listened to
your every morning on a high. I love you, ladies.
I appreciate even getting through and keep up the great work.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Well, thank You's amazing. You know why, because he's happy.
He's happy. He settled everything worth life, be life and
in a good way. Sometimes all right, but then you
can your lives.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
Let me turn back in the show.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
All right today, Well that was shining to light eight
hundred and two nine two fifty one fifty in case
you couldn't get through. And when we come back on
this Wealth Wednesday, Jasmine Brand, I told you my girl
got a book out. It's called how to Build Your
Business Without Quitting a Job, and I want to talk
about how to know if you should stay or leave
(04:30):
when we come back. Okay, this is all from your
book and you're going to give us some tips and
from your own real life experience. Okay, on a Wealth Wednesday.
Speaker 7 (04:38):
It's way up a dream of wealthy and I don't
mind sharing my wealth dogs.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Getting you straight financially, mentally and physically. This is wealth
Wednesday on Way Up with Angela Ye?
Speaker 2 (04:48):
What's up? His Way Up with Angela Yee? And Jasmine
Brand is here.
Speaker 6 (04:51):
I'm here how to build a.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Business without quitting your job. That is the name of
your book, right And one of the things that you
talk about in here is how to know if you
should stay? Or you actually had a job, yes, I did,
got an ultimatum and had to leave and you weren't
prepared for that was not so from your experience, how
do you know when it's time to stay or leave?
Speaker 5 (05:10):
There is no set formula, but there are a few
things I talk about in this book. One of the
biggest questions I've always start with is your job only
draining you or is it also funding you?
Speaker 6 (05:19):
Is it helping you with your side business?
Speaker 5 (05:21):
So some people are using their main business to help
fund their side business, and in that case, I feel
like you probably need to stay at your job right.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
Right unless it's what if it's so consuming that you
spend so much time making this money that you're like exhausted.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
I'm a big fan of taking a risk on yourself.
Then I say you may consider jumping and you're.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Saving up a certain amount of money, and when you
hit this goal, that's when I'm going to leave.
Speaker 5 (05:42):
As long as you can plan, you have space to
kind of do your exit strategy and you're not just
blindly like jumping out there.
Speaker 6 (05:48):
Like I kind of did.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Don't do what I did, Okay.
Speaker 5 (05:52):
And then a second question you should ask yourself is
is your business proving itself? So that means like are
you making money? Because that's I feel like the most
important thing. If your business isn't yet making money, then
you know it's probably not time for me to quit
my nine to five.
Speaker 6 (06:04):
I need to stay. I need to figure out how
can I make money? What am I doing wrong? What
am I doing right? And kind of figure out the
plan to make some money.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
Unless you got a rich husbands.
Speaker 6 (06:14):
Unless you're a kept woman or man.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
All right, well, we're gonna have some more tips throughout
the day because it is a wealth Wednesday. And when
we come back, tell us a secret. Maybe you have
a secret about your business you never told anybody. Eight
hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. Call us up
into no judgment zone unless you are having sex with
your stepdaughter, and then we're gonna have to judge you.
Eight hundred nine two fifty one fifty. Call us up.
(06:39):
Tell us a secret is next.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us a secret.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
What's up? It is Angela Ye, it's way up with
Angela yee, with my girl Jasmine Brandy. I'm not just
a brand on.
Speaker 6 (06:52):
My own rash y'all.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
They know she was a rapper. That's a secret.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
That is a secret. Yeah, not really, that's because you
keep bringing it out.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
It's not on the BT word. Okay, all right, can
you see hip hoppa words? All right, So anyway, you're
gonna tell us a secret right now? Eight hundred two nine,
two fifty one fifty. Hello be anonymous and tell us
a secret.
Speaker 8 (07:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (07:10):
Man, Back in like two thousand and one, I went
to corner Boy. It was a nice carnival was up
at Washington and I graduated. You know, yes me, answer me,
I kind of still you know anyway, A long story.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
Then he fasted forward.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
I was young.
Speaker 9 (07:23):
I just graduated high school. I had fun. I met
an older woman and it was just got lit.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
What just got Let mean?
Speaker 9 (07:31):
I was experienced with younger women, and when I found
out how the older women got down, It's like I
couldn't go back.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
What did she do?
Speaker 3 (07:39):
I felt like no control.
Speaker 10 (07:41):
She had all come around.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
She was tossing you around like a rag ball.
Speaker 9 (07:45):
Tell you thank y'all.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
Listen, I had a good time.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
I said you, well, thank you. Did you ever talk
to her again after that? Or it's just that was it?
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Yo?
Speaker 4 (07:54):
I ain't gonna lie.
Speaker 9 (07:55):
I paint it. I told my dad, my dad for
Z and I pulled it out the window. I said,
he that's what y'all dom Yeah, but.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
But it is what it is, man, and man.
Speaker 9 (08:09):
I never seen it again, and it is what it is.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
And you're still looking for her, he is, well, not okay,
just asking.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
I'm great. I'm great.
Speaker 9 (08:19):
I'm great, I'm glad I'm married him. Great, all right,
I note that I one to love you.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
As calor what's it her?
Speaker 11 (08:29):
I just wanted to tell secret.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
Okay, we're here.
Speaker 11 (08:32):
Before I got married, this was three months before I
got married, I hit it up with this guy from
work and I ended up having an affair with him
time and I ended up blocking him. And this was
at my last jop so I switched drops and everything
and stop married three months later.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Wow, was he like stalking you after?
Speaker 5 (08:52):
No?
Speaker 11 (08:53):
I just turn of had a itch that I wanted
to scratch. I got it and that was it and
I just went about my way.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
What did that do for you mentally? Because like you said,
you had an itch you wanted to scratch. But what
did that fulfill?
Speaker 11 (09:06):
Its reminded me that he was the one I wanted
to marry in. I had fun and it is what
it is now.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
It's a great memory, okay, and the marriage is good.
Speaker 11 (09:16):
Yeah, we're going strong.
Speaker 10 (09:17):
Good.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Now what if you found out that your husband did
that also before you guys got married, Yeah, you gotta
eat it.
Speaker 11 (09:25):
I mean I wouldn't mind because.
Speaker 6 (09:27):
I also did it, so yeah, right, but you wouldn't.
You wouldn't confess too though. You would just be like, oh,
you'd be like.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
You're disgusting, I hate you.
Speaker 11 (09:36):
Oh we had something similar, Well, he had something similar
where he met up with his.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Ex, did you, Bene did it was.
Speaker 11 (09:45):
Revenge because he told me that nothing happened. But I'm
guessing he just had awso an it she wanted to
do right.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
All right, Well, thank you for sharing that with.
Speaker 10 (09:54):
Us, Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
Well that was tell us a secret eight hundred two
nine two fifty if you couldn't get through. We're taking
secrets all day, all right. And when we come back,
Jasmine Brand is here. Her book, How to Build a
Business Without Quitting your Job, is out right now. And
when we come back, I'm going to talk about three
shifts in your mindset that saved you when it came
to starting your own business. It's way up you.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Straight financially, mentally, and physically. This is Wealth Wednesday on
Way Up with Angela.
Speaker 12 (10:22):
Ye.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
What's up? His way up at Angela Yee. I'm here
with Jasmine Brand.
Speaker 6 (10:25):
I'm here, Jasmine.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
You write a book. I did write a book how
to build a business without quitting your job. And one
thing that you discussed is three shifts that saved you, okay,
and so what are those three shifts that you can
give us so that people can follow your blueprint?
Speaker 6 (10:39):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (10:39):
So number one, I stopped chasing growth and instead I
kind of focused on revenue. So I know, at the beginning,
I celebrated like having mentions from celebrities, having a bunch
of retweets, celebrating traffic, like you know, I was getting
more traffic to the slide like that, and which is important.
But I shifted that focus and I worried more about
how can I get more ad sponsors, how can I
make more money as a post to like this kind
(11:00):
of superficial.
Speaker 10 (11:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (11:04):
Also I'd like to mention that just because you have
a huge following just in general, doesn't mean you're making money.
Speaker 6 (11:09):
So that's another thing.
Speaker 5 (11:10):
This is another issue where you know you're worried about
the look of things as opposed.
Speaker 6 (11:15):
To actually making money.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
We've seen artists that have millions of followers and like da,
why didn't sound no album?
Speaker 4 (11:20):
Yep?
Speaker 6 (11:20):
Okay, Okay.
Speaker 5 (11:21):
So the second shift is I protected execution time. So
I made sure that I was executing in between everything.
So I had a nine to five when I started
the Jazzma brand. So what I made sure I did
was carve out time before, during, and after or I
always made sure I was able to produce during that time.
So I know that a lot of people are feel like,
(11:41):
you know, I need to be able to do this
full time. But you can't do that all the time.
So you have to make time. And I know we
only have twenty four hours in a day, but you
can make time. If you really want this to happen,
you can make.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
The time, all right, So that's too. You have one
more for us, Okay.
Speaker 5 (11:54):
The third one is I built systems before I built scale.
So yeah, in the beginning, I was more so reacting
to everything, and once I got in the groove, I.
Speaker 6 (12:01):
Started to being more proactive.
Speaker 5 (12:03):
If I ever wanted freedom, I knew that I had
to have some sort of system and organization.
Speaker 6 (12:06):
And it's kind of hard. In the business I'm in.
Speaker 5 (12:08):
It's kind of hard because it's like online news, So
it was hard to build systems in something that's kind
of reactionary in you know, every business is different, but
you have to figure out a system and you can't
just be freelancing and so.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Like a tablet, so when something happens, you know, boom.
This is absolutely and it's just a kind of a
copy and paste to get a system in place so
you're not trying to figure out like, oh my god,
what do we do now?
Speaker 6 (12:29):
This happened absolutely?
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Okay, all right, well thank you for that How to
build a business without quitting your job. We'll have more
on this Wealth Wednesday. Plus, we do have Ryan McCrary
and Taniqua Sparks joining us today. He is the funnel doctor.
He helps entrepreneurs turn those clicks into purchases. It's way up.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
I had a dream of.
Speaker 7 (12:49):
Wealthy, and I don't mind sharing my wealth dog.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Getting you straight financially, mentally and physically. This is Wealth
Wednesday on Way Up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
What's up? His way up with Angela Yee. My brother
Jasmine Brand is here with me today. Yes, and you
have a book how to Build a Business without quitting
your job.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
And one thing in your book that you discussed and
I want you to kind of break this down for us,
is the pressure.
Speaker 5 (13:11):
Right, So I think before you decide to venture off
into this entrepreneurship world, you need to really ask yourself
a question can I handle the pressure? And it's not
even just you know, can I handle the pressure at
the beginning, it's also can you handle the pressure when
you start making it and you start becoming successful. When
you start making money and when you start becoming successful,
can you handle that pressure too? I think at the
beginning you have to be super focused and it's really
(13:34):
about time and consistency, and that's a lot of pressure. Also,
think about the fact that you know, if you don't
make any money, you don't eat. Can you handle that
kind of pressure? Can you handle the pressure up maybe
at some point having employees and being responsible for paying people.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Because let me tell you something, people will come to
you with all kinds of issues and stories and you
have to be an empathetic buss. But you also have
to know that sometimes people be bsing.
Speaker 5 (13:56):
Yeah, Angela, you know that you have multiple businesses and
I think probably one of the hardest things in any
business is working with people and managing that.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
That is really difficult.
Speaker 5 (14:06):
It requires a lot of pressure, and you have to
be able to handle multiple things at multiple times and
stay calm and stay consistent, and I really do feel
like it's just about time and consistency. So I feel
like that's one of the biggest questions you have to
be able to answers. Cannot handle this kind of pressure
and know what comes along with it?
Speaker 2 (14:24):
Yes, the answer is yes you can. All right, Well,
make sure you pick up how to build a business
without quitting your job? And where can people find that again.
Speaker 5 (14:32):
On the jazzmin brand dot com And you can find
it in the link in my bio on the Jazzmine Brands.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
All right, when we come back, we have asked ye
eight hundred and two ninety two fifty one fifty any
question you have, I got to back. We're here to
help you out its way up.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Whether it's relationship or career advice. Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
You should ask what's up? As way up with Angela? Ye,
I'm Angela yee and Jasmine Brand is here. Yeah, Jasmine,
and it's time to ask you where we give advice
to our listeners. Eight hundred and two ninety two fifty
one fifty. We have Marco on the line. What's that, Marco?
Speaker 8 (15:06):
What's uf you? What up?
Speaker 2 (15:07):
Man? What's good? What's your question?
Speaker 13 (15:10):
So I just put my girl out. She just turned forty,
and you know, I've been looking it up on Google
because she got a nine year old. So for the future,
I'm looking to have more children, and I feel like
it's going to be difficult with her. She she says
he's had complications, and.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
You know, she's kind of an older woman now.
Speaker 13 (15:27):
So I don't know if I should continue to short
myself in a relationship by not being able to have
a family in the future or just keep trying for
that in the future.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
And Jasmine Kachima here, she has her child about forty also,
But I do want to say, when it comes to
women and fertility and children and complications that can happen
in your twenties thirties, it's never a given. Yeah, So
it's hard to say what people are going through. But
what she can do when you guys are serious about it,
there's a lot of different options, whether it's IVF IUI,
(15:58):
whether it's her you know, because she still will have
eggs to freeze if she chooses to do that. Also,
and I think if she wants to have kids and
you want to also, there's a lot of ways that
you can make that happen. But it's never a guarantee.
It could not be a guarantee with somebody younger. And
I do know that as women get older it is
more difficult, but.
Speaker 6 (16:16):
That doesn't mean it's impossible.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
It's impossible, and that could happen to someone at any age.
But it really is just a matter of you know,
making sure that you explore whatever is available to you.
Speaker 5 (16:27):
I think if you guys are serious, or when you
are serious, maybe she goes to the doctor and you
all have a conversation with her, obsuin.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
And listen, we've talked to doula's you know, and you
should lay them thim. And she was up here and
she was saying that they always call it a geriatric
pregnancy over like thirty five. Yeah, but you know, back
in the day, yes, people used to have kids a
lot younger. They also used to die a lot younger,
and modern technology and things have changed a lot. So
I would be always it's a concern, because you know
(16:55):
that's what you want to do. But I wouldn't count
it out.
Speaker 6 (16:58):
Okay, all right, I should get aside, Chicken.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
You should not mark up Mark.
Speaker 6 (17:03):
I'm gonna punch you to this phone. Okay, No, but listen,
angel I want to say this tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (17:08):
Is it just the fact that kids might be an
issue or do you feel like she's just too old
for you in general?
Speaker 6 (17:12):
No, No, I don't have an issue where it's not perfect.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
He's just concerned having kids.
Speaker 13 (17:17):
Forty So she was thirty nine when I met her
and we've just been dating, so celebrated her birthday.
Speaker 6 (17:21):
But now I'm thinking.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
About it, you know, like, yeah, they'll tell you, like she.
Speaker 4 (17:25):
Now I need something more.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
So she could do both. She could even freeze her
eggs could but you also could start trying and then
if there's issues in a couple of years or whatever,
at least she has FROs in her eggs and she
could do that now. But it's a lot of different
options nowadays too.
Speaker 5 (17:39):
And just have a conversation with her and her doctor
and then you guys will really being you know, educated
on what what the options are.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
Thank you so much, all right, good luck, Marca, Look, Polo, Okay,
I couldn't help it. That was asking yee eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through,
leave a message and ask ye. That way we'll get
to your voicemail. You can so click that microphone on
your iHeartRadio app and you can leave a message there.

Speaker 4 (19:11):
Of course, yeah, thank you for having me.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
So talk to me about what it is exactly that
you do.
Speaker 15 (19:16):
Definitely, So I'm Ryan McCrary, also known as the Funnel Doctor.
We help entrepreneurs grow and scale their business online through
sales funnels, email marketing, and paid advertising. So if you
want to grow and scale your business online and you
want to you know, just blow it up online, come
to the Funnel Doctor.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
So mostly you said your business was from word of mouth, right,
This travel business was people referring you and maybe finding
you online, but you weren't able to connect those dots
to convert those people who might have been maybe taking
a look but not purchasing or working with you.
Speaker 6 (19:49):
Correct.
Speaker 14 (19:50):
Were you making money or was it a struggle?
Speaker 9 (19:52):
Now?
Speaker 16 (19:52):
I was smaking money, not as much money as I
should have because I wasn't. I was afraid to mark
up my trips include profit margin, and so they came
later down the road.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
You know how to know the value of what it is.
Speaker 6 (20:04):
So the value what I bring to the table.
Speaker 14 (20:06):
But you're making it sound like I got to this
point and then knew I needed more, and that's when
I got Ryan. But that point when people need marketing,
that's usually when entrepreneurs kind of freeze up a little bit.
Speaker 16 (20:18):
Well, when I looked online, I saw other companies advertising.
So when I'm strolling on my own personal Facebook page,
I see other companies advertising, and I'm like, Okay, how
do I get my name to pop up on somebody's feed?
And so Ryan was one of our mentors and a
mentor program that I was in. So I went to
a couple of his calls and him and I connected,
and I think as an entrepreneur, you have to be
(20:40):
willing to invest in your company if you wanted to grow.
Speaker 6 (20:42):
We came up with a funnel.
Speaker 16 (20:44):
Not only did he help me on the marketing side,
he also helped me behind the scenes, making sure that
my automations were set up, making sure that I had
all the right processes in place, so that when a
client did arrive to my landing page or ride to
the Facebook ad, where were they going to go after
they click? I'm interested just making sure I had everything
set up on the back end. So not only does
he help you with the marketing. He does take it
(21:04):
a step further to make sure that your back in
operations is set up as well.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
Right now to Wealth Wednesday. Stacy Tisdale is here and
we're talking to Ryan McCrary. He is the funnel Doctor
and Shanique with Sparks. Ryan, can you talk to us
about what that process was like?
Speaker 4 (21:18):
Yeah, definitely.
Speaker 15 (21:18):
So I've seen she was an expert in what she does,
but her specialty was not in marketing. So, you know,
in my mind, it was like, how do I take
that off your plate and then you can stay in
your zone of genius of getting people to come on
a triplet you So I saw that and I just
came in, you know, as the funnel doctor. He doctored,
performed surgery and then she didn't just get the seventh figure,
she got the multiple seven figures all through, you know,
(21:38):
running these funnels and these automations.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
What I like about it is that you make money,
but you also help other people make money.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
Definitely, exactly all.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Right, And so a Wealth Wednesday with Stacy Tisdale and
Ryan McCrary is here. He is the funnel Doctor. He's
a digital marketing strategist that can help you make those
conversions and get consistent revenue. We got shanique with Sparks
here as well. She is the proof of concept is
way up.
Speaker 7 (22:01):
I had a dream of wealthy and I don't mind
sharing my wealth dogs.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Getting you straight financially, mentally and physically. This is Wealth
Wednesday on Way Up with Angela.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
Ye, what's up? Its Way up with Angela. Yeah, it's
a wealth Wednesday. And I'm talking to Ryan McCrary, the
funnel doctor. He helps entrepreneurs turn visibility into consistent revenue
through different funnels, paid traffic and conversion systems. We have
Shaniqua Sparks here. She was one of his clients. And
of course Stacy Tisdale, my Wealth Wednesday partner, is here
as well.
Speaker 14 (22:30):
And cherniqu When you started this with a small budget,
A lot of people think they have to spend a
lot of money.
Speaker 16 (22:35):
Yes, we did so we started with a very small budget.
I want to say we started with five hundred dollars
and I think I had just grossed two hundred in
revenue that year, and then the next year we did
eight hundred K. That was because I was running those
ads with Ryan and we turned that one campaign went
from one campaign.
Speaker 6 (22:52):
I had no idea what was going to do this.
I thought it was going it was going to.
Speaker 16 (22:55):
Sell one trip to gun and we're gonna be done.
But once I sold it out, we put another on out.
He sold out again, so we kept selling it intil
the clients stopped booking. That was back in with twenty
twenty three. Yeah, we're in twenty twenty six and we're
still selling Ghana. We're still running that same campaign. It
has a higher ad budget now, but we're still running
that trip over and over because clients are continuously booking.
Speaker 14 (23:17):
That's a really great point. You're still running the same campaign.
A lot of people make this investment in marketing and
they're like, it didn't work. I've invested five hundred dollars
and I'm not seeing the results. But that's you're not
investing in that one and done type of thing. I
see Ryan shaking his head.
Speaker 15 (23:32):
Yeah, it's like you gotta be consistent and then really
believing in your product and what you offer.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Right now to a wealth Wednesday, Stacy Tisdall is here
and we're talking to Ryan McCrary. He's the funnel doctor
and Shanika Sparks and.
Speaker 14 (23:43):
We're gonna work with you. We have a List to
Leads challenge. What is this?
Speaker 4 (23:47):
Yeah, a List of Lead Challenge is a free three day.
Speaker 15 (23:50):
Challenge all about you know, how to get more leads
and build your list and it hasially grow revenue.
Speaker 14 (23:55):
This is free.
Speaker 15 (23:56):
Uh, it's totally free, totally free three days. Day one
it's all about funnel foundation. Day two is all about
backing automations. Once you capture lead, how do we convert
them into a sale? And then day three is about
of course paid traffic. You know how to use advertising,
social media advertising, how to make sure you have your
numbers in place, your KPIs and really what you should
be doing ad budget, creatives and so forth to really
(24:17):
grow and scale your business to the next level.
Speaker 14 (24:19):
What are people actually gonna walk away with when they
go through the challenge.
Speaker 15 (24:22):
Yeah, they're gonna walk away with foundations about funnel, Like
what's the right funnel for your business?
Speaker 4 (24:26):
Number one?
Speaker 15 (24:26):
Because people always ask me, well, there's so many funnels.
What funnel should I have for my zin's the womenar funnel?
Is it a problem?
Speaker 14 (24:32):
I know for some people they are like, Okay, what's
the funnel.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
Yeah, basically, it's just your sales system.
Speaker 15 (24:36):
So if you go into like McDonald's and like, oh,
I want a quarter pound of a cheese, what do
they say? Do you want to frozen and drink with that?
Do you want to make it a meal and stuff
like that? That's their sales process. So your funnel is
is the sales process you use from getting a lead
to a paying customer. You know, there's like top middle
bottom of the funnel. We don't have to go into
the nuances. But basically it's just your your customer journey
(24:57):
and the sales system you use to get people to buy.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Okay, I'm inspired. I know a challenge. How do people
sign up?
Speaker 7 (25:04):
Yeah?
