want to shout out my producer Dan. He's doing such
(01:18):
an amazing job, and I know he works really hard,
and it's nice to have somebody there who works just
as hard as you do and cares about your show
just as much as you do. Look at him, he's
over here smiling. So imagine what that could do for
a person. That's what shine of Light is all about.
Eight hundred and two nine two fifty one fifty Diddy,
who do you want to shine a light on?
Speaker 5 (01:36):
My son Elijah. He's eleven years old and he has
a heart of gold. He's always wanting to feed the homeless.
And now he is going through some medical stuff and
all he wanted to do was give to everybody else.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Oh Elijah, that is so sweet.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
So he's being really giving even though he's having some
medical problems.
Speaker 5 (01:56):
Yeah, they just found a fist on his brain. Oh,
he's going and have some neurosurgery testing gun this week
and all he wanted to do was go out and
feed the homeless. And I said, tumalize you, you have to
think about yourself. And he was like, no, Mom, He's
like we're fine. He's like, you always make sure we're okay.
He's like, we have to make sure everybody else is fine.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
That is so what a sweetheart. And they feel like
he'll be okay though.
Speaker 6 (02:19):
Right we're hoping it was found by mistake.
Speaker 5 (02:21):
He passed out and started shaking and we rushed into
the hospital and they found it on his brain by
doing his skin because he was unresponsive.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
All right, well, you know what, Thank god they found
out and he's in good spirits. And I'm praying for
Elijah right now. But thank you so much for calling.
It feels like he learned that from you.
Speaker 5 (02:40):
I couldn't have raised a better kids.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
All right, Well, thank you so much for colling. Shout
out to you, Elijah.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Like two hours.
Speaker 7 (03:55):
So I just start rambling and I pull out this

I'm like, man, I found it.
Speaker 7 (04:22):
So he's like, well, don't nobody question you about this
money for thirty days.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
I'll let you spend it. Let's just say I had
a Merry Christmas that year.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Marry Christmas.
Speaker 7 (04:33):
I'm gonna find out it was the school's picture money
for picture days. Oh, fourteen grand.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
You took fourteen grand a picture money. Wow.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
I was in the fifth grade.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
So what did did they ever question anybody or nobody else?
Speaker 3 (04:48):
Nobody ever asked me about nothing.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
I'd have been like, you know who was in the room,
badass such and such was in there with the money.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
What'd you buy?
Speaker 3 (04:58):
Man?
Speaker 7 (04:58):
My dad bought me all kind of I got a
go cart that year.
Speaker 3 (05:02):

Speaker 7 (05:02):
Of clothes I had, Like every game system came out.
I think I had a Super Nintendent. I got a
super Nintendo that year. Wow, I had everything?
Speaker 2 (05:12):
All right? Well, thank you on the skin. Mayo got
all the skim is calling in today. Okay, all right,

Speaker 3 (05:19):

Speaker 1 (05:21):

hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty. I told you
we don't judge, and if you couldn't get through, you
could leave a message. You can play your secret and

fine too, all right. That's eight hundred and two ninety
two fifty one fifty. That was tell us a secret.
(05:42):
It's way you put Angela yee?
Speaker 4 (05:43):
All right, everybody six with its relationship with Korean advice,
Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
You should know this is Askee.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
What's up?
Speaker 1 (05:51):
This way you put Angela yea, I'm Angela ye Mano
is here and we have a good ask yee on
the line as we sit here and eat this Jamaican food.
Today we have Veronica on the what's up? Veronica, Hi?
Speaker 6 (06:02):
And are you.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
I'm a good how are you? It's me and Maino. Hey, Reno,
how are you doing?
Speaker 1 (06:08):
Good?
Speaker 4 (06:09):
Good?
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Good?
Speaker 8 (06:09):
Okay? So how do it be nice to my boyfriend
who has gained a lot of weight. Before when we
were dating, he were nice and fun. He was going
to the gym, playing basketball. Now you've got that relationship
after two years the relationships?
Speaker 4 (06:24):
How to wait?
Speaker 8 (06:25):
Like, how can I be nice about it? Like you
need to lose some weight because you're fat?
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Do just that?
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Don't be nice? Listen more you're fat? Getting back in
the gym.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
I would say, you know your boyfriend better than anybody.
Some people can handle that well and some people. You
have to be a little bit more sensitive getting a
gym because some people are okay with you being like, look,
you're getting fat and we got to deal with this,
and some people will not like that approach.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
So what approach do you feel like with your boyfriend
can work?
Speaker 8 (06:52):
I'm thinking I'm going straight for it, Like may I say, listen, right.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
You can it's nice in the winter and it's okay. Well,
you know what, though, I always feel like when people
want to make sure that their partner is at their best,
you can actually participate in helping make that happen, because
sometimes we put our happy way because we are both
not eating the way that we should be eating and
doing different things.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
And so maybe if you can.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
Implement this into how you guys go to the gym together,
the meals that you guys eat, like, encourage each other
to do better, cook more at home, you know, So
just things like that and figure out how you can
work on this together, because I think it's always good
when you approach things in a couple as a team.
Speaker 8 (07:37):
All right, you're right, because we be eating a lot
of McDonald's.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Lately away from the mcdams. This is your fault.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Yeah see, And that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
It's got to be an effort on both of your
parts because it's really hard to be with somebody and
they eat and McDonald's and I'm not supposed to.
Speaker 8 (07:54):
Right right, Thank you so much, guys.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
All right, that was as ye eight hundred two ninety
two fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through, you
could leave a message and we will ask your question
that way, or you can click that microphone on your
app and leave a message asking your question and we
will get to you.

What's up?
Speaker 2 (08:30):
What's up? But yes, we The reason.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
Why I had a little shade towards you was because
I did see divorce in the black.
Speaker 9 (08:35):
Now up with the shade towards me and Dallas.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Yeah, you're right to our st different your character.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
The movie has come out now and I see everybody
kind of talking about it on social media and they said,
you did that too good?
Speaker 9 (08:47):
Yeah, they going crazy. I put my thirty years of
the acting experience into this movie, like all the raw emotions.
First day of working, me and Megan was about to
do a scene. Meghan came in, you know, all looking
nice and may it up and she said something to
me and then I threw something out there. I was like, yeah,
you need to sign these papers something, but I said right,
but it wasn't in the dialogue. But I did it
(09:09):
to wake her up, to get her in that mold,
to let her know I'm here to work and we're
not friends right now, Megan, we got to go at
each other to give the best energy for the camera.
Tyle to come out the back and said, Corey, hold on,
let me talk to you for a minute.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
He grabbed me quick right.
Speaker 9 (09:22):
I said, dam are you finna put me on the
flight back there like I didne blew my opportunity. He said, look, Corey,
I know who you're going with this, right, I love it.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Just stay there, but we're gonna get to that.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
We can call it.
Speaker 9 (09:31):
You can do all that later, he said, not on
this scene, but there was something sign.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
Of papers when I woke Megan up.
Speaker 9 (09:43):
Megan looked at me like this father camera.
Speaker 8 (09:46):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
She came looking like it's on. Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
I love Megan.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
That's my sister right now. Mana and I are talking
to Corey har Drake.
Speaker 10 (09:55):
Yeah, I had good chemistry. Yeah, she's the only person
on the entire plan Earth that still reads.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
What is it? What's that sight?
Speaker 2 (10:04):
Media taking?
Speaker 10 (10:04):
Media take out?
Speaker 2 (10:05):
You want to hear the story about you?
Speaker 10 (10:06):
They got a story about you?
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Want it quite funny? You want to hear it right now.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
It said that Jonathan Major's was jealous at the chemistry
that you and Megan had fun set.
Speaker 9 (10:17):
I just posted them in my story today.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
Are you serious?
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Yes, I'm dead serious.
Speaker 9 (10:22):
Jonathan came to me after rap party. He said, man,
you you really grounded this family. He said, you are
so real and raw. He should say, man, you are amazing.
I gave him this flower. You amazing too. Don't let
nothing stop you. Man, I said, you a cold boy.
Just get back in, Just get back in it. You
ain't real correct, get back whatever you do. But he
showed a lot of love and it was you know,
(10:44):
it was real. And I just feel like, you know,
it's about another chance. I'm trying to destroy no black
man or anybody that you know.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
But dude, key be hating.
Speaker 9 (10:54):
I be hating.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
List.
Speaker 9 (10:58):
The thing I don't like is how people try to
play God with people's lives. Ain't nobody God, Nobody can't
determine that outcome of what he needs to be doing
and what's going to happen.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Because make a good with single for a second. So
a lot of guys were kind of mad.
Speaker 9 (11:11):
I don't not know a bit to say.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
When she got when she got divorced and she was
single for a second. A lot of guys were like,
man made was one of never mind just for a
way that what you do.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
He was just hating you. Listen, you go. You gotta
understand where you're at right now.
Speaker 3 (11:29):

and the blackets out right now on Amazon Prime.

Speaker 1 (11:50):

in the building.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
So Corey.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
When Divorce in the Black first came out just now,
everybody was talking about that opening scene in the funeral home.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Oh we picked it up the cab before, picked that
body up.
Speaker 10 (12:03):
Boy.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
And by the way, this isn't like the first time
I did. So don't feel like you're giving it away.
Speaker 9 (12:07):
He's a real like a boxer or something, a fighter,
and that dude was thick, like he just hocktails all day. Hey, look,
he played dead for real, so you know how you
drop an extra twenty pounds on you?
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Yeah, because you just.
Speaker 7 (12:20):
Laying flat here, sir, on my right knee.
Speaker 11 (12:23):
And he really committed to it. I'm like, I'm like, like,
I'm whispering to its dead right right. But I'm like, man,
would you stand in your ass something? Man like seven
times about the church?
Speaker 3 (12:36):
Wow? Got the wing tips on.
Speaker 6 (12:40):
Flying.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
I said, this dude is really in it and he
had no dialogue play damn, Like I've never seen anything
like that before.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
But it did open up a conversation about fighting at
a funeral because at funerals, emotions are high.
Speaker 2 (12:54):
There's a lot of talk about money, who was wrong?
Who was this?
Speaker 1 (12:57):
Sometimes his side pieces come out and nobody never seen
this person before. Sometimes the kids you didn't know that
the person has because.
Speaker 9 (13:05):
The funeral, anybody show up, and it's kind of like, who.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
Have you ever had any crazy funeral experiences?
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Nah?
Speaker 2 (13:11):
I haven't, Mano, have you?
Speaker 6 (13:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (13:13):
I had to fight at the funeral before, and I
felt really bad for it, man, you know, and your
niggas like, man, really.
Speaker 9 (13:19):
Right, it was bad.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Right now, Mano and I are talking to Corey Hardrick,
do you see yourself working with Tyler Perry again? Have
you already had that conversation because you know he's got
NonStop projects.
Speaker 9 (13:30):
I do, don't do more movies together. He hugged me
the other night and said.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
I love you, Corey.
Speaker 9 (13:35):
I'm proud of you.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
And people always have positive things to say about working
with him. I saw Meghan Good said she got paid
what she deserves to get paid after working with him.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
How are those negotiations for you?
Speaker 9 (13:45):
Listen, I can say the same as Megan. I worked
on this movie three weeks and I've done movies for
five months and he paid me the most.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
Haven't made three weeks, damn. So that is real.
Speaker 8 (13:56):
That's real.
Speaker 9 (13:57):
He take care of people.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
All right. Well, thank you so much for coming through.
Speaker 9 (14:01):
Y'all two out here, you know, killing it. That's what's up.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
Thank you'all appreciate curry ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker 1 (14:07):

channel Way Up with ye And when we come back,
of course, we got the last.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
Word to get your voice heard. What the word is
the last word? On Way Up with Angela? Yee?
Speaker 2 (14:20):
What's up? Its Way Up with Angela? Yee and what
a great day today.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
Listen, this is the time, whether you're going away, you're
on a staycation, you're with the family, whatever it is
that you're doing, just have fun. Maybe you're still having
to work, and just appreciate the fact that there's way
less traffic than it normally is. But this is your show,
so you have the last word.
Speaker 6 (14:39):
So my secret is when my boyfriend and I were
going through something, and while he was a sleeve to
confirm my suspicions, I went through his phone. So once
I went through his phone, I found out he was cheating.
And while he was still a plea, I did something
through his card. I didn't even know that it would
go to the extent that it did because it totaled
the car out. But to say, he still doesn't know
(15:02):
and I got my man pack. What's up? I just
want to shine a light on neat things. You know,
with the holiday seasons, my girlfriend working really hard, and
I just want her to know that she's been her
windy season and everything she's doing is not going unnoticed.
You already know who it is.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
Our daisy going way out turn out with Angela Yee
