of fun. Yes, we had a change my life and career.
There's a couple of clips. You guys picked the most
controversial one.
Speaker 7 (00:29):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
I did say that.
Speaker 5 (00:31):
I was like, we loved with this. I was like,
I'm glad we should have built up to these clips.
I didn't I say that, Dan, I was like, why
did we leave with this?
Speaker 7 (00:39):
I opened my phone and they picked them. They picked
the best one.
Speaker 6 (00:41):
Let's get run into so I'm gonna be so busy
for the next few hours.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
But anyway, I know you guys love her stand up.
Speaker 5 (00:49):
I know I do. So we're gonna have some fun today.
There's so many stories we have to talk about too,
so that's why it's perfect for you to be here. Please,
but let's get this stoke. The show started with some
love and some positive tivity. Let's shine a light eight
hundred two nine two fifty one fifty Call us up,
let us know who you want to shine a light on?
Speaker 2 (01:06):
Its way up?
Speaker 3 (01:09):
Turn your lights on, y'all, spreading love to those who
are doing greatness.
Speaker 4 (01:13):
Shine a light on them, Shine a light on them.
It's time to shine a light on.
Speaker 5 (01:20):
It's way up at Angela. Yeah, I'm here with my
girl Jackie Fabulous.
Speaker 7 (01:23):
Good morning, Cantalog.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Good morning. And I know you want to shine a
light on somebody today.
Speaker 6 (01:28):
I want to shine a light on Madam Sherry Shepherd,
my girl, comedian, extraordinary talk show host.
Speaker 7 (01:34):
Y'all may have heard that her show was canceled, and
but she's on tour.
Speaker 6 (01:40):
Apps well, resiliency of this girl a woman queen. So
give it up for Sherry Shepherd. She's like one job gone,
but I gotta love.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
It more jobs.
Speaker 5 (01:49):
You know what, though, I remember when they announced it,
she says she wants to keep the show going. Yeah,
so I would love to see in what capacity that
can happen, because her show was good. They just said
it's the evolving land escape of daytime television was the reason.
Speaker 7 (02:02):
There were too many. I'm like, I wasn't.
Speaker 6 (02:05):
I was shocked, of course, but at one point I'm like,
how can there be Kelly and Tameron and Jennifer and Sherry.
Speaker 7 (02:12):
I mean, there wasn't a lot. Somebody had to go.
There were too many of them. Yeah, you know what.
Speaker 5 (02:17):
I just think things in general have been shifting so
much because people, yeah, with streaming services, with online content
and things like that. So I'm looking forward to see
what she's planning to do, though, because it's going to
be something yes, you know, And she said she is
not throwing a talent, so.
Speaker 6 (02:32):
She's also going to be in every TV show. She
got probably eleven movies coming out. This is when non
non working queens always working.
Speaker 7 (02:40):
All right.
Speaker 5 (02:40):
Well, I hope to see her outside too, because I
love running into Sherry Shepherd at a party.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Now, Devin, who do you want to shine a light on?
Speaker 8 (02:48):
I wanted to shine a light on my girlfriend. Her
name is Loving. She is the lead residential tech at
hiking Bach Hospitals.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
Okay, that works with kid that's.
Speaker 8 (02:58):
Trouble with and drug addiction and stuff like that, and
she loves them and she loves her job and she
is a great person. I just wanted to shine a
light in her because she is phenomenal.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Okay, I love it and I love your energy.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
You came, you came in here today like bang, let
me shine a light on.
Speaker 8 (03:16):
My call every day, a call every day. But I'm
just not lucky. Today's my lucky day though.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
Well, people who had the opportunity to work with her
are indeed blessed because she loves what she does, we
are and truly wants to help people. So thank you,
Devin for shining a light on her.
Speaker 8 (03:32):
No, thank you for allowing me this privilege. And you
guys have a.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Great day, all right, you too?
Speaker 5 (03:37):
Well that was shining light eight hundred two ninety two
fifty fifty in case you couldn't get through. And when
we come back, man, Jackie Fabulous is here guest hosting,
as you know, and we are gonna talk about Kanye
West and this wireless festival.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Sponsors are pulling out.
Speaker 5 (03:52):
I'm we'll tell you what's gonna I don't know what's
gonna happen, because that's money, that's money gone.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
It's way up from the industry, shade to all of us.
Angela's that.
Speaker 5 (04:03):
Yeah, it's way yep. But Angela yee and again Happy Monday.
Jackie Fabulous is here with me today.
Speaker 7 (04:08):
What's going on?
Speaker 5 (04:09):
Hey man, we are having a time talking about everything
going down now. Kanye West, he had his comeback show
and that was at Sofi Stadium in La I know
a lot of people who went to that too and
said the show is absolutely phenomenal.
Speaker 7 (04:23):
It was on the earth, literally on top of the world.
Speaker 5 (04:26):
Yes, I mean literally had everybody coming out for that.
I think they said it made over thirty million dollars.
She said, two new records. His two shows earned thirty
three million dollars. According to Bloomberg, it's the highest grossing
show in the stadium's history.
Speaker 7 (04:40):
He was playing new music.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
Yeah, because his album came out, Bully.
Speaker 7 (04:44):
I'd have been annoyed. I didn't come here for that.
I don't want to hear. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (04:49):
Yeah, he did a lot of music. No, man, what
of the shows that go on for days? He who's
he Chappelle? Why is he going off forever like that?
Speaker 5 (04:57):
But his Bully album is also getting a deluxe edition.
They were also disputing first week sales numbers. By the way, Yes,
just because I think his album came in at number
two on the Billboard. But according to Gamma, those numbers
don't reflect a full week of activity because they didn't
come out for the full week. But that's on them.
(05:18):
Why didn't you release it when it was supposed to
be Yeah, but still that's yeah, you should have if
you would have released it on time.
Speaker 7 (05:24):
I like it. You had so many songs on.
Speaker 6 (05:25):
It reminds me remember Beyonce said, no one puts out
a full album anymore age from that school.
Speaker 7 (05:30):
But I like that.
Speaker 6 (05:30):
I'm gonna do an album. I'm gonna to give you
seventy five songs. That's how I do it. Doubles disc.
Speaker 5 (05:34):
So yes, they're saying that it should have been a higher
level because it came out on Saturday.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
It was supposed to come out on Friday.
Speaker 5 (05:39):
Really all right, So but the full first week sales
is over two hundred thousand sales.
Speaker 6 (05:45):
So there's that of the whole album they bought. The
people bought the whole album.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
That includes streaming numbers. So yeah, so streaming, but you
gotta stream a lot to equal a full.
Speaker 7 (05:54):
How many songs fifty? Oh?
Speaker 2 (05:56):
I was like no, no, he.
Speaker 6 (05:59):
Oh, but the album, yes, I thought on the new
album with these all I'm like.
Speaker 7 (06:07):
That makes sense. That's a normal concert.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
Now, speaking of which, Kanye West is going to be
headlining at London's Wireless Festival.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
It's a huge festival.
Speaker 5 (06:16):
But it's gonna be interesting to see how this gets
handled because a lot of major sponsors are pulling out.
Speaker 6 (06:21):
I'm first, I'm so happy he's working. I'm really happy
he's torn again.
Speaker 7 (06:25):
But I was also like, why are you pulling out?
Speaker 6 (06:27):
I thought we all wanted him to get back on
the road and get back to singing and rapping and stuff.
But then I realized he has a heavy history with
a lot of controversial stuff.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Yeah, I mean Pepsi Diagio pulled out. Diagio Diagio owns
a lot of really huge liquor brands like Casamigo, like
all of those coming out.
Speaker 7 (06:46):
Was it coming out with a whiskey or something.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
Well, no, they just were one of the major sponsors
this whole thing, because you gotta think it's a festival.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
So it's not just he's just headlining it. There's a
lot of other artists that are performed and they.
Speaker 7 (06:56):
Won't even stay knowing he ain't the only.
Speaker 5 (06:58):
One, but he's the headliner. And then PayPal is also
no longer going to appear, Yes.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Because of that.
Speaker 5 (07:07):
So it's also because I mean Kanye West did say
he admired Hitler and has made a lot of anti semitical.
Speaker 7 (07:14):
Way even worse.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
Yeah, there's no nice way to say that. Who's staying.
Speaker 6 (07:19):
I want to know the companies that are not leaving,
so I know how valuable he might be.
Speaker 7 (07:23):
He might I don't need I got I got coke.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
But it's not up to him. It's really the promoters.
Speaker 5 (07:28):
You gotta think they're banking on that's they're probably putting
up millions of dollars.
Speaker 7 (07:33):
He might not know it. Might tell him told, you know,
it's time to really tell him.
Speaker 5 (07:36):
But let's see if they say, maybe we shouldn't happen,
because that's why people pull out right as far as sponsorship,
because they want to make you not work with the person.
Speaker 6 (07:46):
But he's so valuable. Whatever whoever was left, they'll be
replacements in their place.
Speaker 5 (07:50):
I believe upset about certain people even showing up, Like
Lauren Hill was at the show and performed, and people
were mad about that, and so that was all interesting
to me. She was actually supposed to be on All
Falls Down originally, but it didn't get cleared. There's a
sample from her and all of that that didn't happen.
So it's kind of a full circle moment.
Speaker 6 (08:08):
Maybe she had when that song came out or in
her belly. Now they're in college. She didn't carrying this stuff,
this grudge for years.
Speaker 5 (08:15):
Well, when we come back, we have about last night
where we discussed what we did last night or over
the weekend.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
We want to hear what you did.
Speaker 7 (08:21):
Shuts, I have my clothes on the whole time.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
Sorry, guys, Lastie says, shucks. All right, it's way up.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
So about last night, Yes, I went down.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
Yo, it's what yea?
Speaker 5 (08:34):
But angela, Ye, it's me and Jackie fabulous. You haven't
a vibe I am.
Speaker 7 (08:38):
I am enjoying the music, all right.
Speaker 5 (08:40):
Well, we want to talk about what you did last
night of my Yes, last night.
Speaker 6 (08:45):
I got back from Minnesota. Shout out to the Last
Cam Comedy Club. I did the weekend there and I
solidified my new comedy show Time of the Month at
the Brooklyn improm and.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Same time of the most time.
Speaker 7 (08:58):
I know, right, and I have blood in decades, but
you get the boy.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
It's an all women's show, all.
Speaker 6 (09:04):
Women comics, I have access. I know every female comic
in the world. If I don't, I can find them. Okay,
and it's gonna be hopefully it'll be more. I wanted
to be weekly, but I'm trying to be modest. So
is the in probably Hey, slow down.
Speaker 7 (09:15):
I love that May.
Speaker 6 (09:16):
Six is the first one, and I have access to everybody.
Trying to get all my friends first, including myself. I'll
be there either hosting her handlining, but I want everybody
to come out because the female comics are not really
getting a lot of stage time these days.
Speaker 5 (09:30):
Yeah, they're not getting supported. And y'all have had some
of the best specials, yourself included.
Speaker 7 (09:34):
Thank you. Somar on hold On you can leave.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Smore has a great one.
Speaker 7 (09:37):
Yes, I haven't seen it yet, but I've seen so
many clips.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
I'm gonna it's really really good.
Speaker 6 (09:42):
I heard.
Speaker 7 (09:42):
I've heard it excellent, one of the best. It's not
the best.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Yeah, so Wanda psychs.
Speaker 7 (09:48):
Leslie got one on Peacock and all my friends.
Speaker 6 (09:51):
I'm gonna ask them Allriguez, I was like, and she's
not in a lot of my is the ones that
I love the most all the time in La Yes, well,
all come to the East. You know, hollerdat your girl. Also,
if they're female comedians who want to do the show,
I don't know you really, but you are a pro
at it.
Speaker 7 (10:09):
Send me a video DM me let me see what
you can do. I'm back to I got my producing
hat back on. I got my other.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
Hat back on. Okay, you hear that? Just Pam my girl, Pam,
who's that? We got you?
Speaker 5 (10:20):
We got you, oh, Nika, Okay, we got a lot
of a lot of the yes.
Speaker 7 (10:25):
Love her.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
And well, yesterday I was actually doing a photo shoot
on Easter.
Speaker 7 (10:29):
Okay, halfy Easter.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
It is really good. So I was doing it for
a magazine.
Speaker 5 (10:34):
I guess we'll talk about it later because I don't
want to tell before they're allowed to let me tell it.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
But so I was actually working all day yesterday.
Speaker 5 (10:41):
And in addition to that, I was at my coffee
shop on Friday, so we have DJ dangles on Fridays.
I got a cup and so I was over there.
Let me see what else I do. I stopped by
a new restaurant called Sexy Queen. Had to drink there.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
Yeah, that was my weekend.
Speaker 5 (10:56):
I tried to stay up last night to watch the
Newest episode of DTF.
Speaker 6 (11:00):
I don't understand what's going on on that show. I
am giving it so many chances because.
Speaker 7 (11:05):
I love Jason Bateman. Yes he can get it.
Speaker 6 (11:08):
I mean we can go for coffee and yes, please
tell me how you feeling about that show.
Speaker 7 (11:12):
I'm annoying.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
I'm trying to see what's gonna.
Speaker 7 (11:14):
Happen by episode four and it's still.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
Like it's randomly funny. All right?
Speaker 5 (11:19):
When we come back, we have tell us a Secret
eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. You know,
Jackie Fabulous is here and we're not gonna judge you.
It is a no judgment zone. You are anonymous. That's
eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty. Call us
up and tell us a secret. That's eight hundred two
nine two fifty one fifty.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
This is a judgment free zone.
Speaker 7 (11:40):
Tell us a secret.
Speaker 5 (11:41):
Baby, it's way up with Angela. Yea is me and
Jackie Fabulous?
Speaker 7 (11:45):
What is will y'all?
Speaker 5 (11:46):
And it's time for tell us a secret? Now you
know what this is all about. I can't think people
call in they're anonymous.
Speaker 7 (11:52):
Ooh dangerous already.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
And we don't judge them. So I'm here.
Speaker 7 (11:55):
You don't judge Jim. I'm kidding. We don't get it.
Speaker 5 (11:59):
I'm new here, but that the whole point is you
get to call in. We're not gonna judge you. I
hope you can handle it right now?
Speaker 7 (12:06):
Okay, all right?
Speaker 5 (12:07):
Eight hundred two nine fifty fifty anonymous car that I
tell us your secret.
Speaker 9 (12:11):
So I often steal my coworkers lunch out of the
fridge in the break.
Speaker 6 (12:16):
From Okay, now before before I make any judgment or jokes,
are you is it because of financial need or hardship?
Speaker 7 (12:28):
Are you hungry you can't afford your groceries to bring food?
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Is that a fetish?
Speaker 7 (12:32):
Yeah? Or or a challenge or your competitive what's the reason? Now?
Speaker 9 (12:37):
I guess it's a mixture. But to be honest, I
just do it because it's there, like I feel like
what it.
Speaker 7 (12:43):
Doesn't because it's stand no, no, no, you need.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
To be fired if you don't judgement owne.
Speaker 7 (12:48):
No, my bad. I'm sorry.
Speaker 6 (12:49):
I was like, you know what, I've had thousands of
corporate jobs and I've had this happening before, and I've
wished them termination immediately.
Speaker 7 (12:57):
So that's why I want to know what's the reason.
I mean to repeat what the reasons are.
Speaker 9 (13:02):
But I'm pretty polite with it though, Like if you're
bringing premium lunch and you don't label it, to me,
that's a donation.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
No, no, no, they got to put their name on it,
like this mine.
Speaker 7 (13:13):
Yeah, if you're not labeling it, start your fridge out bad.
I'm sorry, I can't.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
I can't not tell me, Like, what are some of
the things you've been eating? I'm hungry.
Speaker 9 (13:24):
So one time this person brought like lasagna. I'm I'm
an Italian guy and I love there was one where
it was it was chicken on a salad with cucumbers, tomatoes.
Speaker 10 (13:35):
It was really good.
Speaker 7 (13:37):
This is wrong. This is wrong.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
You knows.
Speaker 5 (13:40):
That's why it's a secret. I hope there wasn't no
period blood in that lasagna. You're gonna fall in love
with whoever made it?
Speaker 7 (13:45):
What type of voodoo heyl? Stop doing that, Okay, I
know this is no judgment.
Speaker 8 (13:54):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Just set them up and put some some laxative.
Speaker 6 (13:57):
And for hot peppers, ghost peppers and whatever you eating.
Stopping it's not fun. It's not funny, and I'm worried
about you.
Speaker 5 (14:04):
Are there emails going around at work like who's stealing food.
Speaker 7 (14:08):
Stop.
Speaker 9 (14:09):
Yeah, somebody posted on the fridge like, stop taking food.
But it's really simple. I'm not taking from everybody. I'm
only taking from the people who don't label it and
the folks who are bringing good food. Like, if you're
gonna bring good food, at least put your name on it.
Otherwise you're basically saying it's a free for all.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Has anything ever been nasty?
Speaker 9 (14:29):
Like?
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Who made this?
Speaker 7 (14:31):
Nah?
Speaker 9 (14:31):
Not so far.
Speaker 7 (14:32):
I don't like the tone of happiness in your voice.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
You know this is wrong, the victim shaming that's going
on here.
Speaker 7 (14:38):
I'm sorry, but this is serious.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Do you like this job?
Speaker 10 (14:43):
Eh?
Speaker 7 (14:44):
That's why you don't care. Hey, you don't give a
damn he gets fired?
Speaker 2 (14:47):
You ever brest food in?
Speaker 9 (14:49):
No, And if I did, I'm gonna label my food.
The whole problem here is people, aren't you.
Speaker 7 (14:56):
The problem here is you?
Speaker 2 (14:57):
No, The problem is they not labeling.
Speaker 6 (14:59):
They No, we're not going to We're not gonna advocate
you from responsibility that.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
I can't help it.
Speaker 7 (15:03):
They don't label it. It's not your home fridge.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Well, thank you for calling. I guess, I guess.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
And next up we got your yea te Now we
got to talk about the baby. He is upset about
a fan painting a portrait of his two daughters.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Oh, and we'll discuss. I want to see what your
thoughts are. Okay, it's way up. She's like the talk
like they Angela Jean, like they Angela Jean Man.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
She's spilling it all.
Speaker 5 (15:29):
This is YEATI well, it's way up, but Angela. Yeah,
I'm here with my friend Jackie. Fabulous, good morning, and
let's get into this.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
YEATI.
Speaker 5 (15:39):
So the baby is speaking out now. I'm sure you
saw this video over the weekend and artist stopped him
outside of a club and try to give him a
portrait of two.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
Of his daughters.
Speaker 5 (15:48):
He ignored the guy, and then later on he addressed
the moment during a li Shehan because people were saying
that it was rude.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Why did you ignore the guy like that?
Speaker 5 (15:59):
The artist did post a picture on his social media
page of the baby's two daughters.
Speaker 7 (16:03):
He's still posting it. He's still.
Speaker 5 (16:06):
He listen, Well, the baby didn't post it, the artist
posted it. Here's the viral painting.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Guys.
Speaker 5 (16:13):
I don't see nothing wrong with it, but hey, shout
out to the baby in his beautiful family. God bless
the mission continues. Now Here is what the baby had
to say.
Speaker 11 (16:21):
First and foremost, I'm not into like grown ass men
discussing my daughter's painting pictures of my daughters, taking pictures
in my kids home and play like that, and a
true I'm not no painting on my daughter's outside of
the nightclub.
Speaker 4 (16:35):
Number three, you.
Speaker 11 (16:36):
Feel a way about you know the principles I spent
on my kids, how far go to protect them?
Speaker 7 (16:42):
And that ain't none of my concern.
Speaker 5 (16:44):
So he asked them to remove the photos from Instagram
and said, don't use my kids for attention.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
So I want to ask you what you think about that.
Speaker 6 (16:54):
I have so many I get it because and when
you have daughters, your extra you know, extra protect and
don't like huge anybody popular in the media, I don't
always get pictures of their family or them as gifts
from the fans. This is a very popular thing.
Speaker 5 (17:09):
It's usually a picture of yourself. But I want to
say this, I think that for the artists be white creations.
I don't think you had bad intentions at all.
Speaker 7 (17:17):
Only their face.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
It's very beautiful picture. It is a beautiful picture.
Speaker 5 (17:22):
But if the baby had an issue with it, you
shouldn't post it no respect his picture. You should respect
his wishes and also just say you know my bad.
I really was not having no ill intention.
Speaker 6 (17:32):
Regardless of the intent. When someone when the parent is
like no, you got to be like, all right, I'll stop.
That'ud be the rule.
Speaker 5 (17:38):
And so the baby also posted using my kids ain't
the route to go if you want to go viral.
Speaker 6 (17:42):
That's the route to go if you want to get
hurt exactly. And the baby, you are always complaining about something.
I need for you to relax and just put on
your fat suit and make a video and have fun.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Oh okay, let's see what he says about you know.
Speaker 7 (17:54):
You know what I again and mean to me online.
I love your music, though.
Speaker 5 (18:00):
Jake Paul recently was on the past weekend with theovonn
and he was talking about Drewski's viral skit. Now, I
do want to say yes that they both said the
skit was very funny.
Speaker 6 (18:10):
They're well done, I've heard. I've not watched any of them,
but I can't and there's too much stimulation. There's too
much comedy online. I'm already inundated with my own comedy.
But I heard he's good at what he does, and
there's a good quality such is amazing.
Speaker 7 (18:25):
I know they are, but he's a good actor.
Speaker 5 (18:27):
And also the response was what really made me be like,
by what's Erica Kirk? Just her response and her like
telling Trump to do something about it, and her going
online and asking Elon must to take it off and
Elon Must say, you know.
Speaker 7 (18:39):
What happened to I heard from him in a minute.
Speaker 5 (18:41):
Okay, you're hear from him. He's getting ready for her
SpaceX ipo. But in addition to that, though, here is
what Jake Paul had to say about what he's been
trying to do in response.
Speaker 12 (18:52):
I've been over the last couple of days calling makeup
artists and I was going to do a response to
this and like do like the fool on darker, Yeah,
and just do it back, because why not? Like, are
we on the same plain field? Like this is how
humans should be. I agree, we should make fun of
(19:12):
each other. And I don't see in color. I see
in truth and comedy.
Speaker 7 (19:18):
Who said that?
Speaker 2 (19:20):
That was Jake Paul? He wants to do black face?
Speaker 5 (19:23):
Why do people not understand the problem with black face
and minstrel shows and slavery and the history of it.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
And power dynamics that'll make his face darker.
Speaker 6 (19:34):
He needn't get punished. He didn't get knocked up, he
didn't get knocked out.
Speaker 7 (19:36):
I'm so tired of him, you know.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
I just don't understand why he doesn't understand that, or
why anybody doesn't understand the difference.
Speaker 7 (19:44):
Because they want the outrage. They don't want to go through.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
What it took to get there, through some centuries of slavery.
And then you can do what you want as a
white person like you guys can be slaves going to a.
Speaker 6 (19:54):
Public forum, Jake and drop the N word, and then
when they knock the life out of you, you'd be like,
you know what, I understand, I can have it was
back now?
Speaker 7 (20:00):
All right?
Speaker 5 (20:01):
Well that is your yet when we come back under
the radar, these are the stories that are not necessarily
in the headlines. They are flying under the radar, but
you need to know about them. Imagine if your friend
steals your husband and then posts about it, who really happened?
Speaker 4 (20:15):
It's way up this in the news that relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar, all right.
Speaker 5 (20:21):
It's way up with Angela yee, I'm here with Jackie fabulous,
Good morning afternoon, Good morning afternoon. And we got these
under the radar stories. Now, this one is an article
that I was reading. I think it was in New
York magazine, right, and it was about a one point
seven million dollar lawsuit that's been filed. Now, this all
has to do with a betrayal. And this started in
(20:44):
New Year's Day twenty twenty four. Two married couples are
making dinner. But you don't see the other spouses in it.
You see the wife and someone else's husband. Okay, so
this is what happens. Brene Kennard is an influencer, all right,
and she was married, and the other women, a Kara
(21:05):
Montague is married and their friends.
Speaker 6 (21:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (21:08):
The problem is that Brene ends up hooking up with
a Kara's husband. Yes, and she even moved into their
home and wouldn't leave. And what's crazy is that people
on TikTok saw these videos of a Kiara and Tim
together and knew what was going on.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Before. I guess a Kiara did.
Speaker 7 (21:34):
It sounds like a swinger is thing going bad.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
No, it's not a swinger thing because a Kiara was
kind of clue that she's not really on social media.
Brene is the person that's the influencer, and they were
doing all and Brene's posting all these videos and people
on TikTok were literally sending her messages warning her it
was so bad. What that A Kara's mother even said
something to her, And finally her dad told her, you
(21:58):
know their effing right, why.
Speaker 7 (21:59):
Don't you want pick? Is the capture all this on camera?
Speaker 5 (22:02):
Brenee is on TikTok, a Kiarra is not, so a
lot of people were seeing this. It was bad enough
that A Kara is a teacher and one of her
ten year old students was like, ain't this yr husband?
Speaker 7 (22:11):
Yo, I don't understand.
Speaker 6 (22:14):
Look, you're gonna live a life of this kind of excitement.
You gotta turn all the cameras off.
Speaker 5 (22:18):
By the way, Yeah, Brenee announced a life update on
TikTok and said, I felt like a lot of you
guys figured it out in the comments, But for all
who don't know, me and Devin are divorced and she's
got a new journey that she's embarking on. And then
A Kara went on her husband's computer and found pictures
and videos.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
Of them together.
Speaker 7 (22:34):
Are they divorced though?
Speaker 2 (22:35):
Well? Now there's a whole situation.
Speaker 5 (22:37):
She says her friend stole her husband posted it for
her followers to see, and so now she's suing her.
The trial started in November of twenty twenty five, and
there were pictures.
Speaker 6 (22:49):
She's not gonna win as lawsuit. You can do whatever
you want, whenever you want, but you're not gonna You know, way.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
Mead, you went to law school, so I want to
know what you think about it.
Speaker 6 (22:57):
The person following the law still got the most responsibility
to prove whatever they're proving, So she's gonna have to
come up with a whole lot of evidence to prove.
Speaker 7 (23:05):
But there's no stealing. I mean, everyone has the responsibility
in this marriage or whatever. There's no stealing. What is
one of the ground with the lawsuit? Are they divorced?
Is they divorced? There's no responsibility?
Speaker 5 (23:18):
Well, yes, now they are so And I want to
say a Kara is now married and she has a baby.
Speaker 7 (23:25):
On the way. It's remarried.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
They all life and she's pregnant.
Speaker 5 (23:32):
Story though, because it's really complicated for me to explain
it from the beginning, But that was a crazy.
Speaker 6 (23:36):
What matters now is that legally there's no responsibility to
be faithful because you're not legally married anymore.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Do you think that people should be able to sue
for an unffair.
Speaker 6 (23:46):
You can, yeah, I mean, and if you're you're suing
for emotional distress, you got to prove damages if you're
gonna be like, what happened to you?
Speaker 7 (23:55):
What did you lose as a result of so and
so marrying? Or mind you're mine?
Speaker 2 (24:01):
When we come out of Jackie, you gotta prove it.
Speaker 5 (24:03):
I want to talk to you because you're an expert
on things like this. Jackie fabus is where we're going
to talk to her when we come back.
Speaker 4 (24:09):
His way up of cause she came with receipts. It's
time to spill that eat all right?
Speaker 5 (24:15):
His way up at Angela. Ye is me and Jackie fabulous.
Hel let's get into this yet. So there's all this
drama right now.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
Stephen A. Smith and Matt Barnes are having a back
and forth.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
This all started with Lebron talking about Memphis and wanting
the Grizzlies to move to Nashville.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
A lot of people over the internet that his suggestion.
Speaker 5 (24:37):
Yeah, and I want to say a lot of people
were critical Memphis Black I mean Memphis is a very
black city, yes, and the capital. So Lebron wanted to
make it clear that he is not trying to go
against black people. He just said he doesn't like going
home either. He also talked about Milwaukee as well. It
doesn't have anything to do with that. He just doesn't
like Milwaukee and he doesn't like Memphis as far as.
Speaker 7 (25:01):
Well.
Speaker 2 (25:02):
Stephen A. Smith had some issues with what Lebron's shocking
him with issues.
Speaker 5 (25:07):
He didn't like the fact that Lebron was saying this
in front of white people and on the golf course
and things like that.
Speaker 7 (25:15):
I think Lebron was like, I don't want to be
in a random holiday inn on a Thursday.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
It was what he said, Yeah, it was Yeah, there's
nothing for him to do. He's forty one years old,
exactly said, you don't even like going home.
Speaker 5 (25:24):
Well, here is what Stephen A. Smith then had to
say about Lebron's comments.
Speaker 11 (25:30):
A bunch of white dudes on a golf course, knowing
the cameras are Roland and videoing you without any regard
for what kind of effect that would have on a
black populace is problematic.
Speaker 5 (25:40):
Well, Matt Barnes responded and here's what he said to
stephen A.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
Smith.
Speaker 13 (25:45):
You're talking about his words and what they mean to
the black community, but you've been the same man in
front of the camera for the last handful of months,
disrespecting Serena Williams, disrespecting Jasmine Crockett, disrespecting Kamala Harris, and
tap dancing for the whole Republican Party, the whole White Republican.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
Party, and Joy Anne Reid. I mean, the list goes
on Joy too. Yeah, he's you got a problem with
Joy I know, besides Donald Trump.
Speaker 5 (26:14):
Okay, But anyways, how apparently Steven A. Smith is going
to address this at some point today. And here's what
Stephen A. Smith said in response.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
I saw in the video Mad Bones from all the
smoke put out about me regarding me tap dancing me
tap dance.
Speaker 7 (26:30):
Okay, I'm gonna talk a lot today.
Speaker 4 (26:32):
I'll see y'all later.
Speaker 7 (26:34):
That's a threat that scares me because you do be
talking a lot and.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
That voice when you do that. But I saw that.
That's scary.
Speaker 7 (26:40):
You want all the smoke the math.
Speaker 5 (26:44):
Now let's discut something more serious though. On the Today Show,
Terry Crews and his wife are on Rebecca King Cruise
and revealed her Parkinson's disease diagnosis.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
Here is what they said.
Speaker 14 (26:56):
I'm able to write my name and my dates, and
I'm able to write with my right hand for the
first time in probably three years. Wow, I'm seeing improvement
in my symptoms. I'm still in recovery. They say it's
about three months of recovery.
Speaker 5 (27:09):
She said her first symptom was a slight numbness in
her left foot and her arm was not swinging when
she walked.
Speaker 6 (27:15):
Shout out to Terry or Rebecca. I've met them when
I did America's Got Talent years ago. The sweetest woman, Terry,
amazing your wife, Rebecca. My prayers go out to you.
My father passed away with Parkinson's and I think my uncle.
It's in my family. So I just want to say,
keep your head up. My prayers go out to you.
(27:36):
Your spirit will uplift you and keep you as healthy
as you need to be to get your purpose out there.
I know she's always busy trying to help everything and everyone,
so it's maybe kind of sad.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
Yeah, well, I'm sorry to hear that, and thank you
for sharing that any time with us.
Speaker 6 (27:51):
Now.
Speaker 5 (27:51):
Trick Daddy has responded after the aka's canceled his performance
while he was on stage.
Speaker 7 (27:57):
They were like, you know, like it was too dirty?
Speaker 2 (27:59):
Yeah they did. You know there were some older women there.
They were walking out.
Speaker 7 (28:05):
What's this? We ain't come here for this.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Well, it was the seventy.
Speaker 5 (28:07):
Thirds South Atlantic Regional Conference in Orlando. His mic was
cut off. They had some strict guidelines about inappropriate language, clothing,
specific songs, and he did him.
Speaker 7 (28:18):
Who books him and not knowing what you get?
Speaker 2 (28:20):
You don't know. Here's trick, Daddy, to whoever your organization is.
Speaker 15 (28:24):
I don't care if you directed the president. I don't
know what you is in this organization. Don't use my
name to clean the same face with your mother. Don't
lie on me. That's the definition of my character. They
booked me to perform, but don't put out no statement
talking about you told me what the mother.
Speaker 7 (28:41):
You gave me a playlist. You can't give me no
playlist that say you're winding. Wow, they're not well. Then
I can know you with his catalog.
Speaker 5 (28:49):
Listen, that's not the person you book. If you're like
we needed to be clean, he literally has to throw
that d dance. Okay, what about.
Speaker 7 (28:56):
Trick, says clean, what is it? Can't even heard him.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
Bitch, I got my pot.
Speaker 6 (29:02):
Oh all right, when we come backs, ye.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
Two nine fifty and Jackie Fabulous are here to help
you out.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
It's way with its relationship for career advice. Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 4 (29:16):
Should you should know?
Speaker 2 (29:17):
This is SD what's up? His way up at Angela?
Speaker 10 (29:20):
Yee?
Speaker 5 (29:21):
And I'm here with Jackie Fabulous. Hey, and it's time
for ask yee. And we have a person who wants
to remain anonymous. She's a mom and her son is
undergoing leukemia treatment and she feels guilty because she doesn't
want to always have to be there taking care of him.
Speaker 16 (29:37):
I'm actually picking him up today. He's been in the
hospital for the bast twenty nine days. He was died
with leukemia.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
Oh, I'm sorry, you know, he was saying, Oh, he
didn't have.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
Any kids, so of course it's my job to take
care of them, to take off for FMLA. I think
I'm feeling a little weird about that because I'm not
not worked in thirty forty years. Wow, it feels weird.
Speaker 9 (30:00):
But I know it's my job.
Speaker 16 (30:01):
You know, he's got siblings, my parents, but it's not
their job to do that.
Speaker 7 (30:04):
It's my job.
Speaker 16 (30:06):
But I don't know. It feels like now my life
has stopped because it is and it's no fault of
his own.
Speaker 9 (30:11):
I don't know.
Speaker 16 (30:12):
I think I'm feeling guilty on the way that I'm
feeling that.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
I have to say, Okay, I get it.
Speaker 5 (30:16):
You feel guilty about the fact that you are feeling
a way that you've had to stop work, stop your life,
and it's not for something that's fun, it's for something
that's caretaker caretaking.
Speaker 7 (30:27):
Yeah, that's my base out loving.
Speaker 16 (30:29):
There's nothing in the world that I wouldn't do for him.
Speaker 5 (30:32):
I want to ask you this that when you said
it's your responsibility, is there no one that can help,
because sometimes you do need a break.
Speaker 16 (30:39):
I mean, he's got siblings, you know, but you know,
of course they have a lot of fights with their own.
He's got grandparents. They may help out, but when it
comes down to this good part of what we're going through,
it's me. I can't expect anybody.
Speaker 4 (30:53):
Else to do that.
Speaker 7 (30:53):
But all your feelings you're having are valid. I can
relate kind of.
Speaker 6 (30:57):
I know what it's like to have to put your
dreams aside. Or you feel like you should because I didn't.
I have people in my family who need help and
I my family stepped in and I stepped away. So
I know how you feel when you feel guilty. You
can't do all you can do right.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
We on hole right now, but everybody else life.
Speaker 16 (31:14):
Moves on, Life goes on.
Speaker 7 (31:16):
Yes, you know, we can't feel.
Speaker 8 (31:18):
A certain type of way if I feel like you
should have helped me this day.
Speaker 16 (31:21):
What you did, and I know and I know, I
can't feel that way because that's not that's my issue.
Speaker 4 (31:24):
Not fair.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
Yes, that's a responsibility.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
No, no, it's okay.
Speaker 2 (31:29):
You could have been to us. It's fine and there's
no wrong.
Speaker 7 (31:31):
It's how you feel. How you feel is your reality.
It's valid. It's not good or bad.
Speaker 16 (31:36):
It's just you.
Speaker 5 (31:37):
But you know, sometimes it's important in a way to say, hey, guys,
I need somebody to step up this week and help
out some more.
Speaker 2 (31:45):
You'll be surprised because sometimes people are willing. They just
need to be.
Speaker 5 (31:47):
Told, you know, because I feel like you're putting a
lot of this on yourself when you can delegate somewhat
so you can do some self care things.
Speaker 6 (31:56):
Because you like to carry yourself also, if you're not
healthy mentally and every other way, you can't help anybody else.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
Yeah, I'm gonna definitely work on that, you know, y'all
just from our baby, were hoping the transplant work for
them and everything goes well.
Speaker 5 (32:12):
And I know he loves and appreciate you. So thank
you so much for calling. And I'm sure there's a
lot of people listening that can relate and you.
Speaker 6 (32:18):
Will be blessed. I believe in that you're blessing everybody else.
You'll get your blessings also.
Speaker 8 (32:23):
Well, thank you, lady, And then I appreciate it, thank.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
You for calling time.
Speaker 5 (32:27):
You know, sometimes you just can't help the way you feel,
and so I appreciate that she called and trusted us
to even put that out there. Sometimes that even feels
better to just say something out loud.
Speaker 7 (32:36):
Because your feelings are valid. Yes, when you feel though.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
All right, well, Jackie fabulous. When we come back, we're
going to talk about your feelings.
Speaker 5 (32:43):
I want people to make sure they know even more
about you than they probably are ready. Do you know
we're tested on some things today. We talked about America's
God talent briefly. Yes, we got to talk more about
your special on Hulu.
Speaker 2 (32:54):
Yes, but you got a lot going on. You also
recently went viral.
Speaker 7 (33:01):
Let's try to be myself and guess what happened.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
Yes, and we're gonna talk about that.
Speaker 4 (33:06):
It's way up the most tamous women in radio Vidio.
We're talking about Angela Yee. You're way up with Angela Yee.
Please believe that.
Speaker 2 (33:13):
I know that's right, Jackie fabulous Yay. Now we got
to talk about you for a minute.
Speaker 7 (33:19):
Oh my god.
Speaker 5 (33:20):
Okay, so you can leaves his name, but especially that's
on Hulu right now, right now that you can check
out for people who have not seen it yet.
Speaker 6 (33:26):
What are some things that we can expect you know,
you can leave. You would think I'm talking about like
get out of here, got out of my house. It
was about me realizing that I did not have kids
with my current husband.
Speaker 7 (33:38):
We are not not.
Speaker 6 (33:39):
Divorced yet, so I talked about how I did realize
I deserved more. It was an epiphany while I was
with him, like I don't know why I'm unhappy. We
ain't got kids, we ain't got no assets together. I'm
the only one working. Why in the world am I
in this?
Speaker 7 (33:52):
And you can leave? So I'm like, you can get
your and you can leave.
Speaker 6 (33:56):
That's what it's about, not feeling shamed about knowing you
deserved and doing something about it.
Speaker 5 (34:01):
You know what, I didn't realize you were on Flappish Misdemeanors.
I loved that show.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
Was really sad when it ended.
Speaker 7 (34:08):
It was so much fun.
Speaker 6 (34:09):
Shout out to Kevin and then the producers are creators
of the show. So much fun, so many, so many
committed talents on it.
Speaker 7 (34:17):
I love it in a minute of it.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
And you've been on America's Got Talent.
Speaker 6 (34:20):
I was the original and then the All Stars and
that's how I met Terry and his wonderful wife Rebecca
and stuff.
Speaker 7 (34:28):
It was wonderful. It helped me be less anonymous in
the world and be more like employable.
Speaker 5 (34:34):
I want to ask you even doing this stand up special,
because a lot of times we were looking at certain
comics and like Godfrey's doing his first ever that was
in theaters special. We see so many comedians. They were like, Wow,
this comedian is amazing. I watched Chris Spencer's stand up.
Speaker 7 (34:48):
Oh love Chris.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
I thought it was really the same day on huluj yuah.
So I just want to talk to you about what
that process was like for you.
Speaker 7 (34:56):
You know, when I this last one that came out
February fourth, my manager it.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Was like, you need something new to promote because I
had menopause.
Speaker 6 (35:03):
Menoplause was a couple of years ago, but I was so,
you know, head over heels in love and had different
mindset this one. They were like, it's time. I'm like,
I just broke up with him like half an hour ago.
Perfect time, and they're like, now do it now. I
don't care if you cry on set on camera, and
they were right.
Speaker 7 (35:18):
It was cathartic.
Speaker 10 (35:19):
I did.
Speaker 7 (35:20):
I have not watched it. I don't remember what I said.
I can't. I knew how what I was going through
when I moved out.
Speaker 8 (35:25):
I was.
Speaker 6 (35:26):
I wasn't I have always kind of homeless. When I
left that, I was in between his house and my
mom's house, and I had road gigs. I remember I
had a road gig. The day I found out. My
doctor told me that my buck pressure was very crazy high.
I was stressed out. So it all, it's all happened
in June. It's not even a year yet.
Speaker 5 (35:43):
You know, It's interesting because I also think people have
this notion that as a comic you have to always
be funny, and they don't think that people go through real.
Speaker 6 (35:50):
Life and they have to go through the bad before
you can. For me, at least, you gotta go through
the horrible to be like, Okay, now, how do you
make it funny? Right?
Speaker 7 (35:58):
You know what I mean? And I hain't come before
the applause.
Speaker 5 (36:01):
Well, the first time we met in person was on
Lift Service, I know, and I want to say we
walked out of the interview.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
Like this was hilarious.
Speaker 7 (36:08):
I had a great time.
Speaker 2 (36:09):
We had a great time.
Speaker 6 (36:10):
And then and then my phone blew up and I'm like, okay,

How in the world could you possibly break up with Oh?

were not well endowed did not deserve love and wonderful sex.
I was talking about my one relationship years ago.
Speaker 17 (38:48):
He died.
Speaker 6 (38:49):
I forgot that part. People like you didn't mention that
he was dead. Why I got to qualify him being dead?
They explained that I didn't want to be with him anymore.

not your style. You would never but somebody would. You
guys were really mean to me. I'm doing this long
than I thought I would.
