Speaker 3 (00:34):
Yeah, Capricorn Clark. She really kind of dropped the bombs yesterday.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
And we'll talk about that shortly. I just got an email.
I don't know, see these be so fake? Oh no,
this is definitely a fake email. You have an invite
from payment warning that reinely makes sense from PayPal, and
then it says a transaction eight hundred and forty two
dollars to coin based inquisted. They gotta stop.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
Yeah, did you click a link?
Speaker 5 (00:56):
No?
Speaker 2 (00:57):
I would never do that, but it's this is ridiculous
because it looks so I'm gonna show it to you.
It looks so real, y'all be safe out there. And
it is also a Wealth Wednesday.
Speaker 6 (01:06):
Now.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
I was very excited coming in here today talking about
this AI training that I've been doing. And Angelina Dearresso
is going to be joining us. She's a digital coach.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Yeah, I mean AI is the future and I'm so
glad that you're doing us.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
And I know Media take Up be using some AI.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
Also.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Kim Perryman is going to be joining us. She is
the founder of easy Pas Party Planning and she's going
to tell you how she's coaching people and helping them
get started with their businesses. But let's shine a light
eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty call us up.
Let us know who you want to shine a light on.
We start the show off with love always. It's way up.
Speaker 7 (01:41):
I'm sha turn your lights on, y'all, light spreading love
to those who are doing greatness.
Speaker 8 (01:47):
Shine a light on it, shine a light on. It's
time to shine a light on.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
It's way up at Angela ye on a happy wealth Wednesday.
And my guy Fred Muwanga Gahanga is that high said
that's exactly Mangagahanga is here. He is the founder owner
of Media Takeout. And you want to shine a light
on somebody?
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Yeah, I'm I work with this organization called the Urban
Justice Center. There are a bunch of really really talented
lawyers and they own you're a lawyer, Yeah, I'm lawyer.
And they go out and help some of the most
disadvantaged people in New York and around the country. So
they work with transgender youth, they work with homeless people,
and especially in days like you know, these days where
(02:29):
there's so many people that are attacking disadvantage groups. You know,
people like the urban folks over at the Urbans Justice
Center do a great job.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Oh that's dope. So everybody can get to use these
resources if necessary, if they need help. So, like, what
are the types of things.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
They have different projects. So one of the projects they
have is for transgender youth, one of the projects they
have is for homeless people. One of the projects that
they have is for domestic violence survivors. Oh okay, Yeah,
they have a lot of different different kind of subcategories
that they're looking to help.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
All right, that's dope. All right, Well, shout out to
them now, Jasmine, who do you want to shine a
light on?
Speaker 9 (03:06):
I want to shine a light on my god dance
still Oh period, Yes, I had a hard ass three
years I didne lost my kids. Dad in twenty twenty three,
while trying to move to I did move to a
hall of another city. I've been struggling it by myself,
but I didn't quit. I then went back to school.
I finished got my hair certificate. Yes, I'm to start
(03:28):
a hair school and through my hair license.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
I love that, Jasmine. That's amazing. What city are you in.
Speaker 9 (03:34):
I'm from Missus, Tennessee, but I'm in Nashville, Tennessee.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Now, okay, it's gonna be a great, big market for
you there it is.
Speaker 9 (03:42):
I plan on coming to La Okay in a travel salace.
So remember my name because we're hear it.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
I know a lot of great jasmine, So shout out
to you and congratulations.
Speaker 6 (03:53):
I know it.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Like you said, it's been tough these past couple of years,
but you pulled through and you got this.
Speaker 9 (03:58):
Yes, thank you.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
That was Shina Light eight hundred and two nine two
fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through, you could
leave a message and shine. I like during last word.
When we come back, me and Fred are going to
get into this yeat and we'll talk about Capricorn Clark
what she had to say on the stand yesterday. Also,
Cassie's given birth all at the same time that this
is happening. It's way up, they.
Speaker 10 (04:19):
Says in the rooms.
Speaker 7 (04:22):
From Industry Shade to all the gossip. Angela's feeling that yeaty.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
It's way up at Angela.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
Ye.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
And I'm here with my guy Fred from Media Takeout. Hey,
and let's get into this yet. So first let's talk
about Capricorn Clark taking the stand yesterday. What are your thoughts,
because that was the head person on the page yesterday,
because you know every day I checked Media Takeout.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Yeah, I think Capricorn Clark she brought the heat. I mean,
no one kind of knew. They knew that she was
related to Diddy. She was around Diddy for a long time,
but no one knew kind of how much dirt that
she had, And when she came out, she just kind
of exploded.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
What did you think about the cross examination because after
all that, it was like she still wanted to go
work for Diddy. Then they said she sent text messages
saying that she's always had a crush on him. Yeah,
did you think that harms her testimony?
Speaker 3 (05:08):
I think, you know, it doesn't make her look good
per se. But I mean, just about that, the explosiveness
of the testimony. It's hard to unring the bell when
you're talking about sug knight, when you're talking about fifty cent,
when you're talking about beatings, when you're talking about cars exploding.
You know that no one's really listening to the stuff
after you say that, right, she confirmed almost everything that
we thought about, Didty and more. And the thing about
(05:29):
it that was strange is I don't think that Ditty's
lawyers even knew how explosive her testimony is.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
And everybody kept saying, what is Capricorn Clark going to say?
And here she is, you know, and she talked about
a lot of different things. She said that Diddy threatened
to kill kid Cuddy after learning that he was dating Cassie,
you know, and then you can also see how scared.
And as a lawyer yourself, what do you think about
this whole rico? Because people are saying, I don't see
the rico. I don't see the rico.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
Yeah, you know, I think so many people are saying
that they don't see it. And I'm not sure that
people understand exactly how much trouble didt He's in. I
spoke myself to about ten prosecutors that I know took
former prosecutors. You know, I was a former lawyer, so
I have tons of friends who are former prosecutors. I
asked him, I said, what do you think about this case?
And TUITI every one of them said, Diddy is cooked.
(06:17):
This case is over for as far as they see,
and there's very little chance of Diddy ever coming out
of this.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
All right, Well, prosecutors are going to be calling four
witnesses today, just so you know. There's going to be
an LAPD officer who's on the stand right now, a
fire department investigator, Deontay Nash, and a woman called Mia
who is one of Ditty's former assistants and an alleged
victim as well. So they believe that they'll get to
all four of these witnesses today. And so right now
(06:43):
on the stand is that LAPD officer who testified that
he's the one that responded to Kate Cutty's home in
twenty eleven and saw a black escalade fleeing from the scene.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
Yeah, so I think you know, part of what Didty's
is going on right now is Diddy and his legal
team are trying to yet kid Cutty's testimony kicked out okay,
saying that it's irrelevant. They're saying that it's all based
on hearsay and speculation, but most importantly, that there's no
evidence that directly links Diddy to the explosion on his car.
(07:12):
It happened, there was an explosion, but nobody has proven
that it Diddy was responsible for it, and they're looking
to get it kicked out.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
It feels like today though, if this LAPD officer is
testifying on what happened, but they're saying, as he's being
cross examined, they did not report a gun being involved
or that any property was stolen from the from the home.
So we'll see what happens after. You think it's gonna
get tossed.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
I think there's a fifty to fifty chance that that
that testimony gets lost.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
All right. And I also was watching the next game yesterday.
Yeah no, right, I'm not like an expand so I
just am amused while watching everything at people's reactions. But
they showed a picture. Fifty Cent posted a picture of
himself wearing a free Ditty T shirt. But that was
an AI picture.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
Yeah, yeah, a, it was an I picture. But it
was so convincing. I mean, you think about like, how
good AI is? I mean, it just kind of came
out of nowhere a couple of years ago, and now
it's fooling the entire.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
We don't know what's going on. All right, Well, that
is your yeat and thank you for that breakdown. When
we come back, we have about last night where we
will discuss what we did last night. I told you
one of the things that I was doing, and we'll
talk about the rest. Right now, here's some sizza with snooze.
It's way up.
Speaker 7 (08:20):
So about last night Giza went down?
Speaker 2 (08:26):
Oh hey, it's way up at Angela. Yeah, I'm here.
Fred is here from media takeout. What did you do
last night?
Speaker 1 (08:31):
Right?
Speaker 3 (08:33):
Unfortunately? I watched the Knicks game. Oh a painful, painful night.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
What do you think is going on here? I see
people talking about, you know, why the Knicks keep on losing?
What would be?
Speaker 3 (08:44):
I have no idea. I mean, you know, when they
put the team together, they have Jelen Brunson, he's really good.
You got people.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Are talking about Jalen Brunson.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
Yeah, I mean they're really good as players, but you
put them together and with this coach, something just doesn't
seem right about it. And it's like sometimes they look great,
sometimes they look like and it's like it's just really
frustrating the season.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
Okay, so fair to say you're a Knicks fan.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
I'm a huge knicktam.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
Well, last night I watched the game too, but before that,
I was on a call. I've been trying to make
sure that I'm like up to date with the things
that I can be using AI for to help me
with my business. And I also do have We are
working with my girl, Angelina Darisa, So she's found a
c suite coach and she does digital coaching for Google
(09:26):
as well. So she's coming in person to my coffee
shop Coffee Uplifts people to help people learn more about
how they can utilize AI for their business. And we
were talking about this when I came in. So I
had a call with Cliff Warley and he was teaching
me just different things that I can use, telling me
about apps, other things I didn't know about about how
I can kind of maximize my time better to work,
(09:47):
you know, smarter, not harder, and using AI to get
that done.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
Absolutely. I mean, you know nowadays AI is the future.
I mean, you know, before we talk about programming and
you know, being or financially literate. Now it's all about AI.
AI is everything that you need to know. It's going
to be you know, no matter where you are, no
matter what industry you're in, AI is the future. And
you know, I think it's great that you're going out
(10:10):
there and helping all these people.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Yeah, because the main thing for me, I'm trying to
make sure I know more about it and I get
to use it. Sometimes you'd be like, I don't know
if I want people to know this because I don't
want them to have the same teacode. But no, we're
not going to do that. We're gonna share it.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
I mean it's important too. I mean, you know, everybody
is kind of always reinventing themselves, right, and so it's like,
you know, you're on the radio, but you're also doing
a bunch of other things, and you know, whoever the
listeners are, you know, there's two or three things that
they have in there, and they're bag of good sales.
So you know, it's you really have to constantly learn.
It's so important and this is the thing to learn.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
And you use it even if you don't know it.
So even like when we're talking about this Diddy trial,
and we're trying to gather together all of the information.
A lot of times you go on these websites, so
you look at Netflix, they'll put together like a list
of shows you should watch based off of things you've
already watched. That's all based in that In AI.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
Yeah, I mean AI. The big companies are using it,
so why can't we Why can't we use it to
make our larves movement? You know? And there's tons of
things to do. There are new apps every day that's
taking it easier and easier for people with regular people
or just pick it up and start using.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
It all right, Well, listen. One thing you can't do
with an app is tell us a secret eight hundred
two nine two fifty one fifty. Now, I don't know
if you're familiar with tell us a secret.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
I am, I have. Everybody in the world is.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
But people call it anonymously. Our job is to not
judge them, and they tell us a secret eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty. You know the rules.
You are anonymous. You can end up on media takeout
eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. Call us up.
It's a no judgment zone. Tell us a secret.
Speaker 8 (11:41):
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us a secret.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
I know that's right, tell us a secret. Eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty. I'm here with my
guy Fred from Media Takeout. Okay, do you have a secret?
Speaker 5 (11:52):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (11:52):
Not today?
Speaker 2 (11:53):
No, But you know what, it's a judgment free zone.
Are the stuff that people send into you all the time,
all the time, and so you bet things out to see.
Speaker 3 (12:05):
We've got things all the time, and we never judged.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
Okay, well that's what we're about to do right here.
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty. Hey, anonymous, color,
tell us your secret.
Speaker 11 (12:15):
So me and my lady broke up and then I
don't know if this is trifling or not. I was
able to gass it up and then go back and
actually I don't say steal, but I say get back
the engagement ring we had. She don't know about it.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
So you took back the engagement ring after the breakup.
Speaker 11 (12:30):
Yeah, and then I went ahead and got some money
for it.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Did she say anything like, hey, did you take my
engagement ring?
Speaker 12 (12:36):
Uh?
Speaker 11 (12:36):
No, she's just trying to complained that some way, somehow
she lost it, and I never sett un to know
it was what happened with it. So right now she's
still going crazy about it. But you know what I mean,
I just thought it was a nice way to tell
her to get out my life. I take the rim back,
make the money I spend for and everybody go. They separate.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
Way Fred what he is, Well, I can't say morally
what the right thing is to do, but I can
say legally it was he was well within his rights
to take back the ring.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Unless when did you propose? Was it a holiday?
Speaker 4 (13:05):
No?
Speaker 11 (13:05):
No, I was regular day.
Speaker 4 (13:06):
It was nice.
Speaker 11 (13:07):
We did it in the parking, Okay, it's beautiful, and
everything well left after that, and I just felt it
was my ring because I'm the one who purchased it.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Okay, So Fred is right, legally you're okay to do that.
But if you would have given it to her on
her birthday, Valentine's Day, Christmas, it would have been a gift. Right,
You are so right? I mean you I was studying engaging.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
I was about to say, you know a little bit
too much about this engagement ring.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
All right, Well, legally you're protected.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
There is one went for the home to you.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Do you still get down with her like what's happening
or she's out?
Speaker 7 (13:37):
No, we went out.
Speaker 11 (13:38):
Separate ways, and that's why I went the way I
did it because she refused to get a ring back,
so I said, let me handle it the hoodwig.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Why did you guys break up?
Speaker 11 (13:46):
I guess Tom, you know what I'm saying. After after
a while time, just you know, it wasn't it for me.
So I made the move, broke it off. And I
think that's why she was so upset about giving the
ring back.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Okay, all right, well thank you for calling.
Speaker 11 (13:57):
All right, thank y'all.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
See, no judgment. Legally, he was within his right.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
It was within his right. But I will say that
a lot of women they feel differently about this. They
think depending on who breaks it up or like if
you break up, maybe I should keep it. If I
if I break it up with you, maybe I should
give it back to you.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
Well I know that. I know legally, like an engagement
ring is with the intent of like if you get married,
and if it doesn't happen, then you give it back.
That's why they say don't propose on a holiday, right,
because then that the law kicks in and it's a gift, right.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
That's very true. I mean legally, I think he was
well within his rights. But like I said, I think
it's it's still kind of ethically, I'm not exactly sure
about that.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
It's going in and taking something is yeah, but you know.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
I mean not telling her he took it either, right O. J.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
Simpson did something similar, right, Okay, he did time for
it too. All right, Well that was tell us a
secret eight hundred and two ninety two fifty one fifty.
If you couldn't get through or you're nervous to talk
to us, you can leave a message for last word
and when we come back, we have your yet five
yo fourren. He has been locked up since January. It's
looking like he may come home. We'll talk about it.
It's way up.
Speaker 8 (14:57):
Sure, she's about to blow the lead off this, but
let's get it.
Speaker 7 (15:00):
Angelus billing that yeezee, Come and get the tea.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
It's way up at Angela yee. And I'm here with
my guy Fred. You know him from media takeout. But
he also has a lot of valuable information as we're
talking about legal things, yeah, that are happening in Yet.
All right, So Dame dash is going to be auctioning
off his movies, his business interests. All of these things
are going up for sale. He is going to lose
control of things like state property, that movie that he had,
(15:27):
also his full ownership staked in several companies and copyrights
to several films and screenplays. He's approved this auction. That's
all for a four million dollar judgment that's owed to
filmmaker Josh Weber.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
Yeah, I mean it's really kind of a sad state
of affairs. I mean, Josh Weber and Dame Dash have
been locked in some pretty ugly litigation for the past
couple of years, and Dame Dash has been fighting kind
of tooth and nail. Eventually he lost, and he lost big,
and so now he basically has to sell all of
those assets that he's worked so hard.
Speaker 6 (15:59):
To to government.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
Yes, in March twenty twenty five, it was a four
million dollar default judgment against him, and you know, he
was sued for unpaid judgments and defamation. There was an
earlier eight hundred thousand dollar judgment that was tied to
this movie, Dear Frank, And so I guess does that
mean that eight hundred thousand dollar judgment has now ballooned? Yeah,
I think there's four million.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
There's been a series of judgments. I think that was
one of them. I think there's interest and penalties on that, right.
Then there were some other things after that, So it's
just it's really really ugly. But Dame dash is the
kind of guy that you know, he's a grinder, he's
a hustler, and he'll get it all back all right.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
Now, Shannon's Sharp and o Cho Senko they have to
go ahead and kind of delay, yeah, their podcast run.
They were going to do a tour for their podcast,
but apparently they're going to delay that because of these
allegations against him.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
Yeah, I mean, that guy blew the bag. I could
tell you that he was in deep negotiations with ESPN
and other people to get as much as a hunt
hundred million dollars.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
It felt like as soon as that announcement came out,
then the allegations came out.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
I think it was all kind of tied together. Yeah,
because remember even Shannon Sharp's own lawyer said that he
offered to pay this woman ten million dollars.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Then you went ghosts. At first they were in conversation
and then she went ghosts and then came out with this.
So they were all taken by surprise, but you know
it's not going to happen now till summer of twenty
twenty six. I guess he wants to iron these things out.
If you were him, would you have postponeus right now
because we also have talked behind the scenes about just
pushing through when things are happening so you don't get canceled.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
Yeah, you know, I think you want to push through
and keep the podcast going, which it looks like he's
still doing, but you want to kind of remove all
your partners from it. You know, your partners are going
to get the stink of this. This is going to
be an ugly lawsuit. This is going to be an
ugly next like year or so. As he takes a thing,
you don't want your your partners at ESPN, so he
(17:56):
left that, and you don't want your partners in this
concept to.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
Be caught up in that, all right. And lastly, it
looks like five yo four and might be getting home soon.
You know, he's been sitting in jail since January. A
lot of people didn't even really realize that, but he
did plead guilty to a terroristic threat charge, and that's
in the hopes that he can get out of jail
for a probation, and that was for terroristic threats or
the threat to commit a crime of violence in the
third degree. He was originally facing four other charges like
(18:23):
aggravated assault and unlawful possession. These are expected to be
dismissed because of this guilty please.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
Yeah, I mean, look, you know, I think he spent
some time in jail, he learned his lesson of what
I understand that's been. There was no violence, no physical
violence in this saying, you know, bring faudio home and
let him get back to music.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
That's quite some time, all right, Well, that is your
ut when we come back under the radar. These are
the stories that are not in the headlines. They're flying
under the radar, but you definitely need to know about
them anyway. And yeah, a lot of things. I hate
that we have to talk about Trump every day, But
how do we not? It's way up.
Speaker 8 (18:54):
It's in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Yup with Angela. Yeah, I'm here with my guy Fred,
And I said, we just posted a clip of us
just talking about this whole ditty trial. And Fred as
the founder and see how long has media take it
up in around now.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
I've been around almost twenty years.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
Almost twenty years. But also a lawyer. People were like,
how was he a former lawyer?
Speaker 3 (19:17):
Yeah? Oh well, I mean I've been in the media takeout,
going to media take out.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
Yes, And so I saw somebody commented that this is
not a Rico, this whole Diddy trial just because no
one else is involved, no one was forced to do anything,
especially Cassie. Text messages are hard evidence counter laws which
are coming after this. People are saying lies and lying
on the stand. They face some civil issues themselves. That's
what Anthony brown Ogi said.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
Okay, so there are so many people that are listening
to this, they're kind of talking about it, and a
lot of people just aren't lawyers and they don't really
understand the law how it works. So RICO just means
that there is a criminal organization that's doing some kind
of illegal activity. And the illegal activity that they're saying,
and let's put aside words like trafficking and conspire and
everything else. What the Feds are essentially saying is that
(20:04):
Diddy was a pimp and he was pimping out. Uh,
he was engaged in this, Uh, when I say pimping,
they're saying that he controls someone's money.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
He abused her, he took her phone if she tried
to leave.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
All of that is kind of the pimping. And the
interesting thing about this is the way that the federal
law works is a pimp is someone who does this
pimping to someone, and they use the word engage in
a commercial act, commercial sex act. And so when you
think about it, because it's anyone that's engaged in a
(20:44):
commercial sex act, a pimp is able to not only
pimp an escort, but the other person involved in a
criminal sex act, which is the trick. So essentially, and
it's kind of devious and dastardly what the Feds are doing.
They're essentially saying that Diddy was pimping out Cassie, who
(21:06):
wasn't the escort, she was the trick, okay. And so
when you realize it like that and you start looking
at what is that? What are the Feds doing? The
Feds are talking about taking Cassie's phone. The Feds are
talking about.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
The reats of leaking to such shape if you leave.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
Me use all the kind of things that you would
typically see in a pimp, except he's just using it
on Cassie the trick.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Okay, all right, well I appreciate that because people are
definitely paying attention to this. And lastly, Elon Musk is
speaking out against Donald Trump's big beautiful spending bill. He
was on CBS Sunday morning and here's what he said.
Speaker 5 (21:41):
I was like disappointed to see the massive spending bill
which increases the budge deps if not does decrease it,
and I reminds the work that the Noche team is doing.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
So this whole interview is going to air. This clip
just came out on June first, So the two of them,
I don't know if they're breaking up or what's happening,
but yes, it seems like he's not happy with this
big beautiful bill. It is a wealth Wednesday, So Angelina Darisa,
we're gonna have something for her because we're doing some
AI training with her later today at my coffee shop,
and Kim Perrymant is going to be joining us. She
(22:11):
is the founder of easyps party planning to teach you
how to get to the money even when you're sleeping.
It's way up.
Speaker 10 (22:19):
Had a dream of lift wealthy and I don't mind
sharing my wealth dog getting you straight financially, mentally and physically.
Speaker 8 (22:25):
This is Wealth Wednesday on Way Up with Angela Ye.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
What's up? Its way up at Angela Yee. And it's
our favorite time of the week. It's Wealth Wednesday. I'm
with Stacy Tisdale, my partner, and.
Speaker 13 (22:35):
We have a great boost for all you entrepreneurs out there.
Angelina Dara Saw, the founder and CEO of c suite Coach,
which is just an incredible platform, is here. So today
she's here to teach you guys all about AI and
what AI can do for small businesses. Thank you so
much for coming.
Speaker 14 (22:52):
Yeah, thank you for having me.
Speaker 13 (22:53):
AI is here. Eighty percent of small businesses are using it,
and especially when I hear you describe how you're using it,
it's almost hurts your bottom line not to.
Speaker 14 (23:03):
Yeah, the businesses who aren't using it are putting themselves
at a disadvantage really, because it's here.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
Businesses are already using it.
Speaker 14 (23:11):
Those businesses that are using it are saying it's helping
them increase productivity, they're gaining more sales and also they're
reducing costs. So we actually have a workshop that's free
on demand online that's available for anyone. G dot co,
Slash Girls, Slash ai for SMBs, completely free. I am
a small business owner. I leverage Google Workspace to run
(23:34):
my email accounts, our cloud, our docs, know everything, slides everything,
I can sync it with my Google Drive and say
even like look at past articles I've written, train it
on my voice and then now write an email in
my voice right now.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
It's it well through Wednesday, Stacey tis delitated with me
and we are talking to Angelina Darisa, founder and CEO
of the c Suite Coach but also a Google Digital
Coach and.
Speaker 13 (24:01):
If people want to get trained on all of this,
you are a Google Digital coach.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
Tell us what that means.
Speaker 14 (24:06):
Yeah, So since twenty seventeen, I'm really excited. I've been
working with growth Google Digital Coaches program and I serve
as a national coach. Essentially, what that means is we
create trainings and deliver trainings like what Ange went.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
Through all across the How long is that training?
Speaker 14 (24:22):
That one is about forty five n I was like, yeah,
you can learn things so helpful, and they're really focused
on figuring out how to help more small business owners
and they do this with free We do this with
free skills based training, no cost at all, and you
can sign up for free training anytime. We're in seventeen
states and trainings are happening throughout the country every day,
(24:46):
So really glad that that's a resource. We've been able
to support over two hundred and fifty thousand small business
owners at this point, and the numbers just keep growing.
And next year we're going to be supporting a lot
on AI because it's going to keep changing and we're
gonna have to keep business owners up to date on
these things.
Speaker 13 (25:03):
How do people sign up for that?
Speaker 14 (25:05):
So you go to grow dot, Google Slash Digital Coaches
and you can find the coach that's nearest to you.
You can also, as we called out, take some of
my on demand courses that are available. But there are
workshops again and all the markets, both virtual and in person, completely.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
At no cost. All right, Well that was Angelina Darisa,
and make sure you guys join us live tonight. We're
gonna learn how to transform your business with AI. We'll
be at my coffee shop Coffee Uplifts people at three
twenty nine Gates Avenue in Brooklyn. You can also sign
in on the cup Instagram page so make sure you
come through do that, but we're gonna have all of
that information for you. It's way up when we come back.
(25:43):
I got my yet with my guy Fred, And let's
talk about Nicki Minat. She is on the cover of
Vogue Italia. We'll tell you what she had to say
about almost walking away from the business. Will She's like
the tout like they Angela jan, like they angela Jee.
Speaker 8 (26:00):
She's spilling it all. This is easy, way.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
Up, all right, as way up at Angela.
Speaker 8 (26:06):
Ye.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
My guy Fred is with me from media takeouts. Make
sure y'all check that out today. There's some stories on there.
Sometimes I'm like, oh, I don't know if I'm gonna
report that. Yeah, I mean, aybody likes somebody.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
We push the envelope a little bit, but we work
hard to bring the tea.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
All right, Well, let's talk about what's going on with
this Diddy child. They did deny the defensis motion for
a mistrial, and you had talked about maybe there was
a fifty to fifty chance.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
Yeah, I think you know Diddy and his team. One
thing to know is Diddy has some of the best
lawyers in the world, and they're gonna try and pull
out every stop to try and get these charges thrown out.
They came at the case again today they were hoping
to you know, there was a lot of there's some
discrepancies in what Kcutti was saying and some of DNA
and physical evidence that was out there, and so Diddy
(26:50):
and his team were hoping to get a mistrial.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
They were hoping for prosecutorial misconduct. They said. Some prospective
jurors during Jerry's selection said that they believe Diddy could
buy his way out of things. And he said, it's
a conspiracy theory out there and the type of implication
we believe these questions were designed to create plays, right
to create plays, right into that.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
Yeah, So during jury selection there was a series of
questions arressed and they they thought that that kind of
un prosecuted, I mean, prejudice some of the drawers. So
they said, well, we're going to try and take take
a swing at this and hopefully we can get this thing.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
Well, the judge said, no, you gotta try though, right, yeah,
you gotta try. And now they have the arts and
investigator on the stand and that Arson investigator has disputed
claims that contact with Capricorn Clark was linked to the
female DNA because they said there was female DNA found
on that bottle that was was thrown into the car
for arson. So two more people are going to be
(27:47):
called as witnesses today for prosecutors. That's going to be
Cassie's friend, a woman, and a woman called Mia.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
Yeah, so we don't know a ton about it, right,
Like I think, until we see them on the stand,
you don't exactly know what they're going to say. But
we do know that the prosecutors call are calling her a.
Speaker 2 (28:04):
Quote unquote victim, an alleged victim.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
Aleged victim. So you could expect, you know, some explosive
testimony over here, some testimony about how she was victimized
who exactly in either Diddy or Diddy's quote unquote criminal
organization victimized her, And we probably expect some really harrowing
testimony today.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
I'm tuned in, all right, Jennifer Williams on Basketball Wives.
You know, I watched that show faithfully and so, and
a lot of this stuff has happened previously, so we're
catching up to what's going on. But she talked about
not being legally married. I actually went to her wedding
in Paris. Yes, and she has since gone to Vegas
(28:40):
and gotten legally married. But here's what happened.
Speaker 12 (28:44):
It's a valve in front of God that our pastors
co signing. The reason why we couldn't do it situation.
That is how it works when you get married out
the country. We were supposed to go to Vegas for
once to Paris because of the that happened prior that
did it happened, But we're still going to do that.
Speaker 6 (29:04):
We're making it official, all right.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
So she got married in Paris, and the main thing
they were saying here is that she's not legally married.
And I want to ask you about that, because I
didn't realize that when I went to Paris that this
wasn't like official.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
Yeah, I remember, think about it, right, Like marriage is
two things. It's, you know, a spiritual thing where you
have two people that are coming together and making vows
for each other. And then there's a legal thing right
where you have to actually file legal documents in the
courthouse somewhere or in the state somewhere. And so until
you follow those legal documents, the marriage isn't a legal marriage.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (29:38):
So obviously they got married in Paris. They had to
come back to the United States and then file the
paperwork somewhere here in the United States.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
So basically you're having a ceremony, but then after that
you do all the legal things right right exactly indeed,
all right, well that is your ut. When we come back,
it's time to ask Ye and Fred any questions that
you have for us. Eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty. Definitely going to help you out. That's eight
hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. Great time to
ask some legal things. Eight hundred two ninety two fifty
(30:05):
one fifty.
Speaker 7 (30:06):
It's ask yea everybody like six, whether it's relationship, for
career advice.
Speaker 8 (30:11):
Angela's dropping facts, so you should you should know.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
This is ask ye what's up?
Speaker 8 (30:15):
His way up?
Speaker 2 (30:16):
Put Angela? Yee, And I told you if you need
some legal advice. I got my guy Fred here and
we have married Beth on the line for ask ye
what's that Mary?
Speaker 5 (30:23):
Beth?
Speaker 2 (30:24):
Hi?
Speaker 6 (30:24):
I have a question.
Speaker 12 (30:25):
I got married Laco's Nigeria.
Speaker 9 (30:28):
HM my marriage state.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
You live here right in the US.
Speaker 3 (30:34):
Ye. What I'd say is you have to in order
for a marriage to be legal, it has to be
filed in a court doesn't have to be a United
States court. You can get married legally in Nigeria and
then that legal marriage can then be transferred and recognized
here in the United States. So were you Did you
ever file it?
Speaker 10 (30:51):
No?
Speaker 9 (30:52):
Not in Nigeria. I did not file it.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
Did you file here?
Speaker 10 (30:55):
No?
Speaker 2 (30:55):
I didn't know I had to.
Speaker 5 (30:56):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
Yeah, you have to get a marriage license. A lot
of times people get marriage license like way before, right,
So that's how we know people are getting married because
of like such a SSS obtained a marriage license.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
Yeah. I mean, I don't want to give you legal advice,
and I'm not saying that your marriage is not legal
because there are ways a lot of times people, especially
if you're overseas and your remote places, a lot of
times marriages don't get recorded. So as long as you
have actually been married, you have witnesses, you've been acting
as husband and wife, there's a chance that you can
have your marriage recognized. But i'd really work on that.
Speaker 5 (31:27):
Well.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
I did a deep dive and it says you can
get married, but the marriage will be recognized in the
US if it was legally performed. The key is to
us sure the marriage is legally recognized in Nigeria and
that you obtain a valid marriage certificate. So I think
you still will have time, okay, So I would just
double check everything though and make sure do you need
to do anything else, Make sure the procedures and requirements
(31:48):
are all met that you need to meet, because obviously
you still want to be married, so you have time
to whatever is not right corrected.
Speaker 6 (31:54):
All right, thank you very much.
Speaker 2 (31:55):
All right, no problem, we had it saving marriages yea,
I know, right.
Speaker 5 (32:00):
Hey, well, hey, how you doing the fanzuli?
Speaker 8 (32:02):
I'm good.
Speaker 2 (32:02):
You have a question for Fred, Yeah, I do.
Speaker 5 (32:05):
They're the guy who dropped my motorcycle. I sued him
and won the lawsuit. After I want the lawsuit, they're
basically saying I have to find out his baking information
or find out his social I found out basic stuff
that I, as a regular person, would never be able
to figure out. So I called a proud detective and
they say that they can't get the information. And I
called a lawyer and they were like, well, I won
(32:28):
like three thousand dollars and they said it would cost
that much. It's then represent me. So I don't know
what to do as a regular person in order to.
Speaker 3 (32:34):
Get it's interest a bit of money.
Speaker 8 (32:35):
I want.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
This is it's a problem. I think a lot of
times people get judgments against someone and then the question
is how do you collect them. Typically, in the case
that you're talking about, there are companies out there that
will buy the judgments from you. So you wouldn't be
able to get necessarily your full three thousand dollars, but
you could sell that three thousand dollars judgment to a
place that will in fact go after them, and so
(32:57):
you'll be able to get a portion of it. I
can't say how much. If you get half of it,
maybe you know, two thirds of it.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
You got to work that out.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
You'd have to work that out. But the good thing
is those companies, the dec collection companies, they will go
after and they will make sure that the person that
owes you the money will pay it.
Speaker 5 (33:11):
Right.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
Yeah, they'll make that person's life living hell because they're
gonna pay you. So they want to collect on the money.
Speaker 5 (33:15):
Oh that's awesome, I guess. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
Now, but yeah, find a place that'll be good. At
least you get something, and at least they'll harass him
and ruin his credit. Yeah, definitely, all right, thank you,
all right? Well that was assy. Thank you for that, Fred.
We appreciate it. And when we come back, you know,
it is a Wealth Wednesday. So we have Kimberly Perrymant
here with us and she is the founder of EASYPZ
Party Planning. She's an award winning celebrity event planner. So
(33:43):
maybe you have a wedding that you're trying to plan
after you get your certificates. She can help you out,
but will tell you how she has managed to hustle
her way into doing these high ticket events.
Speaker 10 (33:53):
It's way up, kind of dream of wealthy and I
don't mind.
Speaker 7 (33:56):
Sharing my wealth dog getting you straight financially and physically.
Speaker 8 (34:01):
This is Wealth Wednesday on way up with Angela Ye.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
What's up? Its way up at Angela Yee. It's a
Wealth Wednesday. So Stacey Tisdale is here.
Speaker 13 (34:08):
We have award winning celebrity event planner and the founder
of easy PAS Party Planning, Kimberly Paramount, and we are
so excited to have you here. You're an amazing story.
You started off as a teacher and now you are
the queen of celebrity event planning and paying it forward
and teaching people how the heck did that?
Speaker 3 (34:28):
Happen.
Speaker 6 (34:28):
So when I grew up, I said I want to
be a teacher. Until I became one and it was like, Lord,
I can't get anything. Even with this salary, I can't
get any of the other things on my vision board.
And so one day I googled you know what can
I invest in? I had a couple thousand dollars, and
inflatable bounce houses came up.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
Okay, I said, oh, I would crush this.
Speaker 6 (34:49):
There's nobody else doing it.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
That is so random.
Speaker 6 (34:51):
And so I invested in those bounce houses that came
to my house and I was like, oh my god.
Now I don't have muscles, I don't have a truck.
I don't know how now I'm going to figure this out.
But it just turned into me doing more and more things. Right,
So I started going to parties and I'm like, they
need balloons, they need t shirts, they need all of
these different things. And then it blossoms into me being
a full service you know, event planner.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
Right now, I'm with Stacy Tisdall and we have Kimberly
Perry Mine, the founder of easyps party planning here. How
did you go.
Speaker 13 (35:20):
From inflatable slides inflatable balloons to multimillion dollar business.
Speaker 6 (35:26):
So I started doing events right, and then I got pregnant,
and so I remember saying, I have to do something
right because the bills are still coming. And so I said,
I'm gonna do I'm going to start a prop business.
I'm just gonna make props at home. And then people
started asking me how I did it, and I'm like,
of course, everybody knows how to just print this out,
(35:47):
attach it to some phone board and cut it out.
Come to find out, thirty seven hundred people.
Speaker 3 (35:52):
Did not know.
Speaker 2 (35:53):
I don't. I'm one of those thirty seven hundred and
one people don't know.
Speaker 6 (36:00):
See, this is how you know it's your gift.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
So it is also dealing with personalities too, write because
when you're helping somebody as far as event planning, people
can be very particular. They're under a lot of stress.
What is that experience like, because sometimes it's not easy
to have to deal with that.
Speaker 6 (36:15):
As an event planner, Like you got to learn to
keep your poker face on, so like the house can
be on fire in the back, but I'm still gonna
show up, Like, Hi, Angela, everything is going amazing. Do
you need some coffee or water. Right, Now, you just
gotta learn to pivot, even with just with entreprenpreneurship, you panic,
you gotta pivot.
Speaker 13 (36:35):
That's what you did when you had to pivot from
doing events when you were pregnant, and then you said,
thirty four hundred people came to you. And then now
that was really the beginning of easy PC.
Speaker 6 (36:47):
That was the beginning of easy PS party planning.
Speaker 2 (36:50):
So tell us what you get with easy PS party planning?
So what exactly happens?
Speaker 12 (36:54):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (36:54):
Yeah, So we teach creatives kind of how to come in,
how to discover what their gift is, what your niche
because a lot of times creatives are staying, Okay, I'm
gonna do everything. It doesn't make sense. What's the one
thing that you are great at? And then you create
streams of income around that one thing. So we help
them discover what their niche is. We help them implement
(37:16):
systems because you cannot listen Beyonce call you and say hey,
I want you to do my event, and you're like, okay, Beyonce,
can you text me the details? No, Like, you need
a system. You need a calendar, booking link, a software
to be able to streamline the actual process.
Speaker 13 (37:33):
So you help creatives put all this stuff together and
then start their own business doing.
Speaker 6 (37:38):
And start their own business doing it. Yep, we teach
you how to get your first client.
Speaker 2 (37:43):
Kimberly perry Mind is here. She is the founder of
easyps Party Planning. We have more about how she started
her business, but how she can also help you start
a look good at business.
Speaker 10 (37:52):
It's way up care of dream of wealth and I
don't mind sharing my wealth dog.
Speaker 7 (37:57):
Get you straight financially, mentally and physic This is Wealth
Wednesday on Way Up with Angela.
Speaker 10 (38:02):
Ye.
Speaker 2 (38:03):
What's up? Its Way up with Angela Yee. I'm here
with Stacy Tisdale for Wealth Wednesday and we have a
special guest. We got Kimberly Perrymane, founder of easyps Party Planning.
So talk to me about early on for you like
learning this whole process because this is something that I
see how passionate you are about it and how you
know from A to Z everything. But what was that
like in the early days for you?
Speaker 6 (38:24):
It was a struggle. I was trying to do every thing.
I'm a one woman's show, so I had to figure out,
like him, you need a team if you really want
a scaling growth. You got to get a mentor someone
that's been here who is going to help you prepare
and be the best person that you can be.
Speaker 13 (38:41):
You talk about strategy, What are some of the biggest
strategic mistakes you see entrepreneurship?
Speaker 6 (38:47):
I see people being too cheap.
Speaker 2 (38:50):
If you not get what you pay for, that's what
they say.
Speaker 6 (38:52):
Do you hear me? Yeah, Angie, if you know that
when you host your events, you're paying you know, twenty
thousand dollars and you consult me and I say, hey, Angie,
I can do the same exact thing for five hundred dollars.
Speaker 2 (39:04):
Yeah, nope, you're gonna You're gonna run.
Speaker 6 (39:07):
Why because you know, like this person does not value
herself to even charge her words. And then not having
a strategy. When I started, I was thinking that, Okay,
all I need to have is the best.
Speaker 2 (39:19):
Props in hustle and hustling.
Speaker 6 (39:21):
Yeah right, But I was marketing my services to cheap people,
to people who could not afford my services. So it
doesn't matter how great you are at what you do.
If you are marketing to the wrong people, you're not gonna.
Speaker 2 (39:34):
Get right now, I'm with Stacy Tisdall and we have
Kimberly Perrymine, the founder of easyps party Planning.
Speaker 6 (39:40):
Here.
Speaker 13 (39:40):
You give so much information for free, that's kind of
a conundrum. A lot of entrepreneurs are in to give
away information for free or do I value myself?
Speaker 6 (39:51):
This is why I do free classes online. As far
as like the digital products, I think this is what
makes like what I do different because I teach creators
how to make money on your feet as well as
in your sleep.
Speaker 13 (40:04):
If you had one parting strategy for entrepreneurs, what would
you say is the top tip?
Speaker 6 (40:10):
I would say people got to know you so they
can flow you. So start networking. Start putting yourself where
you see yourself. Start putting yourself in those rooms where
you get goose bumps and you get nervous, those are
the rooms that you deserve.
Speaker 5 (40:25):
To be in.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
I love that you said that because a lot of
times as entrepreneurs, you feel like you're in your bubble.
You just have to put your head down and grind.
But it is important to go out. You get a
lot of work done when you go into some of
these rooms.
Speaker 13 (40:36):
Absolutely, we're gonna have all her stuff on her wealth
Wednesday's Instagram and in the bio and we're just so
excited to have you and so proud of you, and
thank you so much for bringing us a party today.
Speaker 6 (40:47):
Thank you for having me.
Speaker 2 (40:48):
How can people work with you?
Speaker 6 (40:50):
I'm always doing classes online. You can text the word
party pa r T y two the number six seven
eight four zero three six four zero eight and the
website is E the letter E, the letter Z, the
letter P the letter Z Easypaz party planning.
Speaker 2 (41:09):
You can't forget that.
Speaker 13 (41:10):
You can't forget that Easy Peace Party Planning dot com.
Speaker 2 (41:13):
Well, thank you so much to Kimberly Perryman. You can
