Brand, Jasmine Brand, and i are here fresh back from
Saint Chriix, the US Virgin Islands.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
And let me tell you something. My birthday was January third.
What else happened? January third?
Speaker 7 (00:38):
What else happened?
Speaker 4 (00:39):
We bomb Venezuela and kidnapped person. So it was very
difficult at that time. The you know, airspace was shut down.
Anybody in the Caribbean.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
It was just a mess, a mess.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
But fortunately we made it. My bags didn't make it back,
but I'm here and yeah, so we'll get.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
Into that later.
Speaker 4 (00:58):
But we got to talk about this amazing trip that
we We were there for New Year's for my birthday,
and there were a lot of surprises that we're in store.
So thank you to Ayanna, thank you to Saint Croix
for being so welcoming.
Speaker 7 (01:11):
They did that.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
It was also their Christmas, their cruising Christmas festival, so
we partook in that as well as juvet as well
as NonStop activity. So needless to say, y'all need a
vacation from your vacation. But anyway, we are going to
start to show off with some love and some positivity.
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Call us up.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
We're back and we need some love. Let us know
who you want to shine a light on. That's eight
hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty right.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Now, here's little Wayne with lollipop. It's way up.
Speaker 6 (01:40):
I'm shine.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
Turn your lights on, y'all, light surspreading love to those
who are doing greatness.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Shine the light on, shine a light on them.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
It's time to shine a light on them.
Speaker 4 (01:54):
Yeah, it's way up. At Angela Gue, I'm here with
my girl Jasmine brand.
Speaker 8 (01:57):
Yes, I'm not just needing brands on my own brand.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
There's a lot of flowers in the studio for my birthday,
So thank you everybody sending flowers, so many flowers and
a balloons. And today I want to shine a light
on Tamika Mills. Now, Tamika Mills looked up to her father,
Reverend aw Brooks. He was hoping to start a home
for people in the knee back in the nineties, but
then he ended up passing away before he could bring
that vision to life. But now she is going to
(02:19):
bring that vision to life. She is actually building the
aw Brooks Serenity Home. She has a nonprofit. She's bringing
together high school age girls who have experienced trauma, neglect,
or displacement. Oh and many foster families and group homes
taking smaller children and older girls have fewer options and
they need help too. And just twenty seven percent of
(02:41):
all children who are adopted were over nine years old,
so the average age of adoption is six years old.
So what they're going to do is actually build a
space for these women, a group home for girls of
color ages fourteen to eighteen, that's going to help them.
I love that, Yes, I love people with a mission.
You know, her father wanted to do this. Now she
is going forward to make this happen. That home has
(03:04):
not been officially open, but she's been doing a lot
of press around it and getting funding together for people
who want to support that mission. So shout out to you,
Tamika Mills. All right, now, Devine, who do you want
to shine a light on?
Speaker 2 (03:16):
I'm actually calling to shine a light of mind. Now
fiance I had called last year, but we just got
engaged in the twenty eight. But my real reason for
calling is because she is a residential counselor at Hackensack Hospital.
The deeds with kids with mental health and all the
type of you know struggles, but she has been a
constant strength to them. She takes that extra step to
(03:36):
make sure they're okay, check in, and she's just all
around amazing. It's been two years and she continues to
amaze me and she's the constant blessing to my life.
I just want to shine a light on her and.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
Her name is Loving, Lovely. Her name is loving.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
It is It's right, right, I guess so the world
these people like her. If you have to deal with
that as a parent, I'm sure then knowing that you
have somebody that actually cares and is going to go
the extra mile, it just makes things so much a
man all right. But thank you for calling, and congratulations
(04:10):
Shina Light.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
On both of y'all.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
That was Shina Light eight hundred and two nine two
fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through, leave a
message and shine a light like that, and when we
come back, Jasmine Brand, we got to talk about Little Dirk.
I saw this on your site, but his trial has
been delayed. Now I know his co defendants one of
that and he didn't. We'll tell you the details.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
It's way up, going way up out with Angela Yee
from Industry Shade to all of gossip out sending Angela's
feeling that Yeat talk to him.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
It's way up. I'm here with my girl, Jasmine Brand.
Speaker 8 (04:43):
I'm here. I'm my own brand.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
All right, let's get into this, Yea te So little
Dirk his trial has been delayed again and this is
his federal murder for higher case. He also has five
co defendants now set from May twenty twenty six. So
they did grant this con tenuines yesterday.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
It was supposed to start on January twentieth.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
Then the new child date is May fourth, and there's
a pre child conference that's going to be April thirteenth.
They said there's a lot of evidence that they have
to go through, hundreds of gigabytes of digital material. There's audio,
video recording, surveillance footage, more than thirty thousand pages of
reports and records, photographs, witness statements, medical documents, and other materials.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
They said, the case is.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
So unusual and it's so complex, it's unreasonable to expect
preparation for pre child proceedings. Now on Dirks behalf, he
did want to go ahead, he get started. Yeah, he
did also probably because maybe to his advantage in that
case if there's so much material that they still have
to go through. But he's been in jail since October
twenty twenty four and he got arrested in Florida, and
(05:47):
the accusations are that he paid five OTF affiliates to
kill Kwondo Rondo in August of twenty twenty two, and
that alleged hit was in retaliation for the twenty twenty
killing of King Von's. Yes, this is to terrible situation
for everybody involved. It's going to be a long trial
all right now, Boozy. According to the Feds, they want
(06:09):
him to get two years in prison after his gun
charged plea deal. They're asking a judge to well, they're
asking for a judge to go easy on him. And
prosecutors are saying that he did experience a herd childhood
filled with domestic violence and drug abuse, so they do
feel that he deserves a relatively short prison sentence.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
After he pleaded guilty. I remember he said, he just
want to go get it over with.
Speaker 7 (06:31):
Yeah, yeah, he wants us to be over and shout out.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
To Boosy who did lip service with us. And it's
such a good time.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
You know.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
You could tell when he first came in he seemed
like his spirits were down. Yeah, but once he gets
to talk in he becomes a preacher gets he's so entertaining.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
Yeah, he is all right now.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
Marlon Wayans recently was on the wee in Miami podcast
Shout Out to you guys, and he talked about how
he is a workaholic.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
That's a fact. You were just watching him.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
I was, and I would say he did such an
excellent job of acting in that movie.
Speaker 7 (07:01):
He played such a serious character too. He did really good.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
So he did say though that he is thinking about
casting fifty cents in his next movie. They had that
back and forth. It was short though, it was short lived,
but they was going at it. They were and here's
what he said, would.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
You collab with him if he reached out and tried
to squash things.
Speaker 9 (07:19):
About putting him as in my next movie? But you know,
I got some action stuff I'm doing. Yeah, you know,
you know, I think you could be incredible, incredible song.
It'll be a great combination. I think it'd be fun
to see us together after that.
Speaker 10 (07:30):
We will be crazy after that.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
I think the world.
Speaker 6 (07:32):
Would like comedy with me in this.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
That's how you tee it up.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
He said, there're two successful businessmen. Yeah, and that is
the bigger picture. Okay, And so I have to say,
very mature. I also feel like that comes from a
space where you're very comfortable where you are. Marlon Wayne's
has been doing his thing for so long. He's Marlon
Wayns like, I don't need to be beefing with fifty
cent fift decent. Is very comfortable where he's at.
Speaker 7 (07:54):
So he took his ego out the situation.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
I was like, you know, you got it all right, Well,
that is your ut. When we come back, we have
about last night. We have a lot to talk about
because we want to show some love to Saint Croix,
everybody on the island, all the beautiful people that were
out celebrating. I'm gonna tell you some of the things
that I was witnessing while I was there. I also
celebrated my birthday, so we'll give you some insight into
such a beautiful island in the USBI. It's way up
(08:18):
so about last night, No, it's way up at Angela.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
Yeah, I'm here with Jasmine.
Speaker 8 (08:22):
Brand on my own brand.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
And so we were in Saint Croix for the holidays,
for New Year's it was juve it was the Cusian
Christmas Festival going on out there and my birthday, so
it was a lot going on.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
When we landed, we hit.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
The ground running, we did. But down now Rawlings was
with us, so that was fun. Javanta was with us,
to Meek Floyd was with us.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
Notri and two were with us.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
I mean we had a stacked group of the Swaggy
Sea was with us.
Speaker 7 (08:52):
It was just Jazz.
Speaker 4 (08:54):
Jazmine Well I said, we were there, but we had
a really good time. Yeah, just going out and like
you know, I was going through a lot of my
other friend Jasmine who owns Jasmin's Caribbean. Yeah, she was
there as well, Melissa who owns the Grill in Atlanta.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
So everybody was out there.
Speaker 4 (09:11):
We had such an amazing time and I just want
to talk about a few of the things that we
did because it was juve and so if you've never
experienced that, and this isn't Torri's first time a juve,
her family's actually from Saint Croix. They were outside at
seven am in the morning. Yeah, having shots, drink and
morning cocktails.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
Partying, party and partying. Toward the end of it, I
was like.
Speaker 7 (09:33):
All right, yeah, it was a very long day.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
But then after that we still went to dinner. It
was also New Year's Eve the same day as Juvet,
so we went to an amazing party. Shout out to
Lima Roe from rom Shout out to everybody listening on ROFM.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
She had a great New Year's Eve party, so fun.
So we were out there, they had.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
A birthday cake for me and then it was just
non stop and I do want to say y'all had
a surprise birthday dinner for me on the beach. That
was probably one of the best meals because it was
a private chef.
Speaker 7 (10:02):
On the beach at night.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Yes, out on a boat during the day, and then
came straight from the boat to the not knowing that
there was a surprise birthday dinner about to happen, and
it was amazing. Randy really helped pull this off to
along with Iana clearly listen, Ayana is the person that
has really Ayana and Dasia, who works with Ayana, set
everything up for us. And I do want to say
(10:26):
right now, Aana and Randy are still stranded, I know,
trying to get back from same Thomas. My bags still
haven't made it back. There was a lot going on. Yeah,
as you know, it's so weird to be away and
something crazy happens and scared and the airspace closes down
and you don't know what's going on. It does make
you feel a certain level of helplessness. And then we're
hearing so many different things, which we'll talk about.
Speaker 7 (10:46):
Yeah in a minute, But you know, how did you
feel about your surprise?
Speaker 4 (10:51):
The surprise birthday dinner was amazing. I really did not
know what was happening. I thought we were all going
out the village, which is where they have performances every
night during the whole you know, festival happening, and so
Kess the band was out there. Yeah, you know when
I tell you it was a time. But I was.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
Excited about that.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
But I do want to say surprise like birthday parties
and surprise things like that. I don't know that that's
ah that's like a because I have so many different
groups of friends, somebody's always gonna feel left out. Why
wasn't I invited? Why didn't you know this happen? And
so I was asking you, when somebody was planning a
surprise birthday dinner for you or a surprise birthday party
(11:30):
for you, would you want me to tell you about it?
Speaker 7 (11:33):
I would.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
I would.
Speaker 4 (11:34):
Yeah, I think I think it's kind and thoughtful to
throw a surprise, but I would, and I would be like,
please tell me because I want to know, Like, you
got to make sure the certain you know, I just
got to make sure everything is okay because I so
much appreciate the effort of putting together something like that
and everything that goes behind it. And that dinner I
think was great because it was very just the people
that were there.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
Yeah, and we're going to be able to come but
back here at home.
Speaker 7 (11:57):
Yeah, that's hard.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
I got my friends from both the high schools I
went to.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
I'm still friends people from elementary school, people from neighborhood,
people from my work I worked at it. Your job,
you're a unicorn, like you have broke all kinds of
stuff together forens. Yeah, So I think that's hard to do.
But I want to ask you guys what you think
about that. Do you like surprise birthday parties? And we
want to hear some of your stories of things that
have gone right and things that have gone wrong.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
Eight hundred nine two fifty one fifty. Call us up.
Let us know how you feel about that.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
If you like surprise birthday parties, I'm going to tell
you about one that I went to that didn't go
so well. Eight hundred nine two fifty one fifty. We're
talking surprise birthday parties.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
Yeah, I'm more way up with angel now you know
what it is.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Yeah, it's way up at Angela. Yeah, I'm here with
my girl, Jasmine Brand.
Speaker 8 (12:41):
I'm not just needy brand on my own brand.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
Fresh back from Saint Croix.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
And one of the things that happened with you guys
had a surprise birthday dinner for me.
Speaker 7 (12:50):
We did which we tried what we did, Yeah, we did.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
We surprised.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
It was amazing, and I know it was a joint
effort from a lot of people because it was on
the beaches with a private chef with the bar set
up at night. I mean, when I tell you amazing,
One of the most beautiful, beautiful parts of this trip
for me. Yeah, and so I was talking about surprise
birthday parties and how you feel about them.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
Though this wasn't a party, This was just a dinner.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
Yes, but what would you think if somebody had a
surprise birthday party for you?
Speaker 1 (13:17):
Would you like that or not? Because some people don't
like surprises.
Speaker 7 (13:19):
I would like it.
Speaker 5 (13:20):
Because I love the effort and the gesture, but I
kind of want to know, have a sense, make sure
the right people are there and people don't feel slighted
and stuff like that.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
So people are going to feel slighted. And all you
can say is I didn't even know about it.
Speaker 7 (13:31):
I know, but you do feel bad though, you know.
Speaker 4 (13:33):
Yeah, And I think it's hard for me because I
have a lot of different groups of friends. But I
remember going to an ex's surprise birthday party and he's
my boyfriend at the time, and they definitely had a side.
Speaker 7 (13:43):
Piece that is, did you say anything?
Speaker 6 (13:45):
Well?
Speaker 4 (13:45):
I didn't know, he told me later, Okay, so we
broke up. He told me, all right, well, oh lot,
how are you.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
I'm doing great? How are you doing?
Speaker 11 (13:52):
Missid birthday?
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Thank you?
Speaker 4 (13:55):
So man, Jasmine want to know about surprise birthday parties.
Speaker 11 (14:00):
Last one I attended it was a buddy of mine.
He was from the Bronx. When he walked into the party,
he was livid, he snapped. And the funny thing is
the reason he snapped is because he was surprised by
one of his exits. He was a problem with guy,
you know, very likable guy by the ladies, and a
(14:20):
lot of the ladies were there at the party.
Speaker 7 (14:22):
So, oh my goodness, there was a.
Speaker 6 (14:24):
Few that he didn't want to see.
Speaker 11 (14:26):
So that kind of.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
Like back was it was like guys do that they'd
be inviting, like all of the exes and side pieces.
Speaker 7 (14:34):
He said, the ex is the one that a party.
The party though, that's messy.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
All right, Well, thank you, that's a good one.
Speaker 6 (14:41):
Okay, you're welcome.
Speaker 11 (14:42):
You're welcome.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
Hekadija, Hey, how you doing. I'm good.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
You want to tell me a jasmine about surprise birthday parties?
Speaker 1 (14:49):
What you think?
Speaker 12 (14:50):
So one time, I think it was like my twenty
second birthday or something.
Speaker 13 (14:54):
I have my own plans for my birthday, and I
was getting up and getting ready to get out and lit.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
Then we ended up.
Speaker 12 (15:01):
Running into three surprise birthday parties from different family members. Wow,
it was so overwhelming.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
I love it.
Speaker 13 (15:08):
I was apreci but it was like so overwhelming.
Speaker 6 (15:12):
My cousin takes me up Wincess, like a spa or something.
Speaker 12 (15:15):
We got our nil fun, then took me to my
mom's house. She had a surprise party. Then my best
friends had a surprise party at a bar that night,
and it was like, I was so tired.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Can we do can we do it all one and together?
Speaker 10 (15:28):
Right?
Speaker 2 (15:29):
Yes, That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 13 (15:31):
Like, And did anybody asked what I was gonna do
for myself birthday? I'm like, I can't be too mad.
Speaker 4 (15:39):
It was, Yeah, that was nice. You're like, I don't
want to be unappreciative, but it was a lot. Well,
thank you for calling.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
You are loved.
Speaker 12 (15:48):
Don't call them. Thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
Well, you guys can still call in and leave a message.
Eight hundred and two ninet two fifty one fifty. We
can play it during last week, but we're talking about
surprise birthday party shenanigans and when we come back, we
got your yeete And Northwest is making music, that's right,
she's making beats. Do I think she has what it takes,
But she's just getting started, all right, let's see if
it runs in the blood.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
It's way up.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
And she's spilling it all. This is yeaky, way up.
Speaker 4 (16:17):
All right, his way up at Angela, Yee, I'm here,
Jasmine brand is here.
Speaker 8 (16:21):
I'm not just brand, I'm my own brand.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
Also, some cake in here for my birthday.
Speaker 7 (16:25):
Yeah night, I love. We're still still celebrating.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
All right now.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
Sunny Digital revealed that his Atlanta studio was recently robbed.
He took the social media to express his disappointment. He
went and said, yesterday's some bum an words came in
here and stole on my keyboards, all my equipment and ish.
It'sh go crazy because I look out for everybody so much.
Don't worry about the materials. I'm gonna get that ish back.
It's just the principle of it. So anybody that's looking
to sell stuff that could be his, stay alert, he said,
(16:52):
and keep an eye out for any of those items.
Speaker 10 (16:55):
Now.
Speaker 4 (16:55):
Right after that, Hit Boy shared the footage of his
studio getting broken into, and he said, this morning, around
four am, some idiots broke into my office studio and
went through a hassle just to get next to nothing.
I had my Grammys there and I know they wanted
my jewels, but not today champions foh I did a
freestyle called Crowbars watching the footage of these low lives,
(17:16):
and he actually posted this freestyle alongside the footage of
these guys breaking into his studio.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
Listen to this.
Speaker 5 (17:24):
Balls kicking the frame on the throat, flip desk through couches.
Speaker 7 (17:28):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
It was pretty good.
Speaker 4 (17:31):
That's how you turn a negative into a positive. But
unlike with Sunday Digital, I guess they didn't get that
much from him.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Boy.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
Yeah, but he did put out that video, so I
hope they finally did it all right. And Kanye West,
his album Bully, his next solo album, was announced last year,
has gotten multiple I mean two years ago. Actually, it
got multiple release dates throughout twenty twenty five. It never
came out, but people are feeling like this is the
year it's gonna happen. Almost five hundred thousand Spotify uses
(17:56):
have already pre saved the album Bully, And so suppose
what was it?
Speaker 1 (18:00):
Lee It's saying January thirtieth.
Speaker 7 (18:04):
Do we think that's going to come out?
Speaker 4 (18:06):
I do not know, because who knows what's gonna happen
or how it's going to come out or okay whatever.
But we do know that his daughter, Northwest, has been
producing songs.
Speaker 1 (18:15):
All right.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
She's twelve years old. She's got an Instagram that went
down yesterday, but I guess it's back. People are saying
that Kim is a little like all right, sis calmed, relax.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
But anyway, she actually.
Speaker 4 (18:25):
Produced a song for Little Wayne sung Little Novika, and
here is a piece of that.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
It's called just Swag Up. Okay, all right.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
She also now has gone viral for this instrumental that
she put out. You know, she also, by the way,
has been on video. She had vocals on talking, she
helps shoot the music video for that. A lot of
different things already in the world of music. And she's
only twelve. But here's the instrumentals.
Speaker 7 (19:03):
I feel like I'm watching a video game.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
Well, she put this up on her TikTok page that
she has with Kim.
Speaker 7 (19:08):
I like that. I like their page.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Yeah, Kim and north so you can check out some stuff.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
But it feels like she's a little rager. She she's
a little rager.
Speaker 7 (19:17):
She's a creative for sure.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
All right.
Speaker 4 (19:19):
Well that is your yet And when we come back
under the radar. We have not gotten into everything that's
been going on in this country. But today is also
January sixth, and we know that is a monumental day.
So we'll talk about things that you should know about
January sixth and the Capitol Riot anniversary. It's been what
five years, twenty twenty one, that was the insurrection at
the US Capitol. But so much to discuss as well,
(19:42):
because things feel kind of in shambles right now. I'm
gonna be honest, But under the radar's next.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
It's way up the news news.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
All right, it's up with Angela Yee, I'm here, Jasmine
brand is here. Yes, and it is January, the anniversary
of the Capital Riots, the insurrection at the US Capitol,
and that's when a mob of Donald Trump's supporters stormed
the building to try to stop the counting of electoral
votes confirming Joe Biden's victory.
Speaker 7 (20:16):
I remember that.
Speaker 4 (20:17):
Yes, it was several chaotic hours of lockdown. I know
certain people felt like their lives were in danger, and
one hundred dividers were charged at federal crimes. But you know,
Trump here he is back in office again. Yeah, he's back.
And in the midst of all this, right now, it
is a wild time. They have actually, what do we
(20:38):
want to say, kidnapped, arrested, abducted, abducted Nicholas Maduro from
Venezuela and calling him a dictator. I see a lot
of people from Venezuela who are celebrating that he's not
there anymore. But what people are having to understand is
the reason he's not there isn't because Donald Trump is like,
oh these are you know, we feel bad for the people.
(20:59):
We want to make sure there's no dictator. It's really
because everybody knows he wants to take control of the oil.
He's even said that out of his own mouth. And
another reason that people are saying that he has an
issue with the Venezuelan president is Venezuelan leader Nicholas Maduro
is because he imitates Donald Trump's dance and he took
that as a sign of disrespect.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
And Donald Trump has even said.
Speaker 4 (21:22):
So, here's a violent guy.
Speaker 10 (21:25):
He gets up there and he tries to imitate my
dance a little bit, but he's a violent guy, you know.
Speaker 4 (21:30):
I think the main thing for me, though, is we're
watching everything that's happening.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Is what type of precedent does this set Now?
Speaker 4 (21:38):
Does that mean that anybody can just go without any
type of approval or any type of plan and go
and taking a president from another place, another country, another leader.
There should be a system in place to make things happen.
That's why we have like checks and balances and all
of that. So we're going to keep you guys updated
on what we know is happening, because this is not.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
Something that is just a United States thing.
Speaker 4 (22:02):
This is a worldwide thing, and there's a lot of
different leaders speaking out from different places. We see China
and Russia, we see everybody having something to say. Colombia, Russia,
and China wants to the United States to immediately release him.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
And they're just a lot and so I don't know
what that's going to mean here, but I know I
don't feel that safe.
Speaker 7 (22:20):
Yeah, I'm with you, all right.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
Well, that is your under the radar.
Speaker 4 (22:23):
We do have the way it mixed for you at
the top of the hour, plus ask Yee is on
the way.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
We got more yet for you.
Speaker 4 (22:28):
And we also want to talk about some things, you know,
just some things that we want you to weigh in on.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
All right, it's way up.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
Of course she came with receipts. It's time to spill
that yet.
Speaker 4 (22:40):
Yeah, it's way up at Angela. Ye, we're all dishoveled
from eating. Jasmine brand is here. Yes, we just got
some food from Jasmine's Caribbean. Thank you guys for my birthday.
Speaker 7 (22:48):
I love your birthday.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
On your birthday, sEH, I gotta stop, all right now,
let's get into this yet. So Jack Black was recently
on an interview with Capital FM, and he talked about
the biggest regards of his acting career, a role that
he turned down that he shouldn't have listened to this.
Speaker 14 (23:05):
I was offered Syndrome in that fantastic movie Man. I
said no because I was like, I'm interested, but I'd
like to see a rewrite where you add some dimensions
to this character.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
And he was like, you're done, get out of here.
Speaker 14 (23:19):
And I learned a valuable lesson because then the movie
came out it was one of the best movies ever made.
I was like, why was I being so difficult?
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Good?
Speaker 4 (23:28):
Listen to learn Jason Lee from My Name is Earl
went on to boy Syndrome and they also want to
ask her for Best Animated Feature. It was one of
Pixar's most iconic originals. The sequel opened and grossed one
point two billion at the box office, and there is
a third one now in development.
Speaker 7 (23:44):
Do you have any regrets any gigs.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
I didn't get up or nothing like that? Well, I
know I got small regrets.
Speaker 7 (23:49):
Any any gig. You don't have to say any gig
you ever like dag. I wish I took that.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
I don't really think so. Nobody had offered me like that.
What about you? No?
Speaker 7 (23:58):
I like that.
Speaker 4 (23:59):
No, it's just I was talking to Deadline in London
and he was discussing Hijack season two.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
You said, you like Hijack, loved it.
Speaker 7 (24:07):
You need to watch it. You need to watch it.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
Also his partnership with Apple TV, and here's what he
had to say about partnering and streamers and creators.
Speaker 10 (24:14):
I think there are really good examples, on healthy examples
of you know, putting together as a commitment between creator
and studio to so we're going to do this right.
I don't think it works for everything. In this day
and age, creation can take many different forms.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
Okay, yeah, it's working for him.
Speaker 7 (24:34):
It's working very well.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
All right now.
Speaker 4 (24:37):
Rb Oday also recently did an interview with Variety where
she talked about participating in the Ditty documentary on Netflix
and also Dannity Kane's reunion. Then they after about being
the first people to be vocal publicly about Diddy.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
And she said she's been speaking up for twenty years.
Speaker 4 (24:54):
Yes, yeah, and so she said, I did it in
ways that I could, based on the things that I
had to sign contract actually to get out of my
three sixty deal.
Speaker 1 (25:02):
But she talks about all the clips.
Speaker 4 (25:04):
That keep on coming around and yeah, so it's a
pretty interesting read to hear because she is definitely a
person from the beginning.
Speaker 7 (25:10):
Has always criticized him, has always.
Speaker 4 (25:13):
Criticized him, all right now for next two times. Was
recently on million dollars worth of games. Okay, and he's
been making money on OnlyFans, as a lot of people have.
And sometimes people give you a hard time for things
like that. But here's what he had to say.
Speaker 5 (25:29):
Only what helped me and I keep my in it.
I didn't made the minute thousand fans.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
I'm gonna slame he's trying to make really more.
Speaker 5 (25:42):
To somebody hit me, so and just what I was
asking you what is apparently his package?
Speaker 1 (25:47):
Oh my goodness, I'm sure you could find it if.
Speaker 7 (25:50):
You just I'm okay, I'm all right, I'm good.
Speaker 4 (25:53):
But good for him though, all right, well he's not
a lot going on right now too, by the way,
I mean, he's talking about his relationship with money bag.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
Oh, and you saw the back and forth with Sugar
and Ari and I feel like, you know, it's stems
from all of that, because.
Speaker 7 (26:05):
I'm like, how she getting what I catched that?
Speaker 4 (26:08):
You're like, I'm minding my business. All right, Well that
is your Yet when we come back, we have asked yee,
eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty is the
number any question you have?
Speaker 1 (26:18):
You know, Jasmine and I are ready to give you
all some advice.
Speaker 7 (26:20):
Yes, we would love to.
Speaker 4 (26:21):
Every day I'm learning a lot more and talking to
people a lot more about what's going on. So we're
here to help you out. Eight hundred two nine to
two fifty one fifty. And on that note, here's Kilani
with folded.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
It's way up with.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
It's relationship with career advice. Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
You should know.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
This is ask gee, what's up his way up at
Angela Yee. I'm here with Jazz me Brian and it's
time for ask yee. And you know, from a woman's
point of view, we can help a lot of these
guys out. So today we have ed on the line
and his lady went from being sweet as pie to
being angry and snapping at him all the time.
Speaker 6 (26:55):
I'll try to do everything way. I get her flowers,
I checked her out. I try, you know, let her
know she's special. But she like she'd be mad at
something she had take to hanger out on me. I
don't understand that.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
How long have you guys been together?
Speaker 6 (27:10):
Four years?
Speaker 1 (27:11):
And then she liked that only with you?
Speaker 4 (27:14):
And does she have other things going on in her
life that's stressful to her right now? Like does she
hate her job? Does she have binan? Like what's going
on with her? Is there anything?
Speaker 6 (27:23):
Yeah, her car to get a transission full of her
car and she had nursed her job just since at
home yesterday.
Speaker 7 (27:29):
So she stressed out, Well, what about you?
Speaker 4 (27:32):
Are you? Have you done anything to her like not
like cheated and she's not over it or like did
anything happen.
Speaker 6 (27:40):
Years ago when first got together? But you know, I
know it was serious or not.
Speaker 4 (27:43):
Okay, Yeah, I've been faithful sometimes. And I hate to
say this, but people take things out on the people
closest to them, and that's a real thing, right cause
she knows that. Like when she's stressed out, you're the
person and she's gonna just lash out and come at you.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
But that's not fair to you.
Speaker 4 (27:58):
Sometimes you can't change other people actions, but you can
change how you react to it. What do you do
when that happens? I'll get Okay, So then it's a
never ending cycle. Ask her what she needs you to do,
because sometimes you got to stop somebody and be like,
what do you need from me right now?
Speaker 7 (28:14):
Can I do the help?
Speaker 6 (28:15):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (28:16):
On a good day, have the conversation. Look, I don't
like how we fight when we argue, you know, let's
figure out a way that we can when you're upset
about something. I'm always here for you to help you,
for you to lean on me. But what is really
hard for me is when I feel like I'm being
attacked or when you get angry at me and I'm
not sure why, And I really just want to be
somebody that can be supportive and then just remind her
(28:38):
of that if it happens again and hopefully it gets better,
and if it doesn't, it feels like she might need
to talk to a professional, because yeah, I don't know,
like in her past, if there's things that really have
made her was she always liked this from the beginning, No.
Speaker 6 (28:52):
Fid with the first out together, Like I think she
got another Are.
Speaker 5 (28:56):
There any of the signs of another man besides the
fact that you just think that's because she's always got attitude.
Speaker 6 (29:01):
Nothing like you already trying to kick me out community
while she hired her phone with sweet.
Speaker 4 (29:07):
So you know she got it, so you know she
got another night basic going on?
Speaker 6 (29:10):
Yeah, you know, I think I know that. I just
want to be for sure have a man making you happy,
and he's doing everything like I do. Little things like
I go grocery shoping.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
Like I get her flowers that's sweet.
Speaker 6 (29:22):
Lit stuff like pick her son up's doing that's not
my kid. I got a hold. I still pick her
son up like I do stuff as a man. Try
to show her and it's like it don't be enough.
Speaker 4 (29:32):
But I want to say, you know what it is, bro,
because all the signs are there. The direct approach is, look,
I do want this relationship to work, and if I
can save it, I will. But if you're with somebody
else and that I'm not making you happy, I'd rather
you be real with me.
Speaker 6 (29:46):
All that's long.
Speaker 5 (29:46):
I'm for her, So we ain't doing this in twenty
twenty six, got to you got to figure this out.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
You want me to call her?
Speaker 6 (29:52):
Hell?
Speaker 7 (29:53):
Yeah, that's a new segment, call it right now.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
Yeah, see she got an atuciation.
Speaker 4 (30:06):
Okay, all right, well listen. If she want to talk,
I'm here for it.
Speaker 7 (30:09):
Angela. Give you a couples therapy?
Speaker 1 (30:15):
All right? Happy new? Yeah, he sounds like a good
guy too.
Speaker 7 (30:18):
You'll find another girl.
Speaker 4 (30:19):
What are some ways that you know somebody's cheating on you?
Because those are some telltale signs, but we want to
hear other ones. Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
How did you know that he or she or them
or they were cheating on you? Eight hundred two nine
two fifty one fifty.
Speaker 8 (30:35):
Yeah, what's hey?
Speaker 1 (30:36):
You don't want to know my name?
Speaker 3 (30:37):
Way up with Angela?
Speaker 6 (30:38):
Ye?
Speaker 4 (30:38):
Turn me on?
Speaker 1 (30:40):
What's up? Is way up with Angela?
Speaker 4 (30:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (30:42):
I'm here with Jasmine Brand.
Speaker 7 (30:43):
What's up?
Speaker 4 (30:43):
And out of our ask you question? We were talking
about how you knew somebody was cheating Jasmine. You've been
cheated on, right I have? Yeah, yeah, okay, but you
don't know for sure. I don't know for sure, but
I had a gut, and then later I found out
that I think something was going on. All right, Well,
definitely a lot of telltale signs when they started accusing.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
You of things.
Speaker 4 (31:00):
Yes, if they started getting dressed up to go out,
if they start disappearing for long periods of time and
you're like I was calling you, what happened?
Speaker 7 (31:07):
Were new cologne?
Speaker 4 (31:07):
Yeah, new cologne, you know, just little things like that,
or perhaps they're like, oh, I'm going on a boy's
trip and they never was doing that before.
Speaker 1 (31:16):
And then yeah, see no pictures.
Speaker 4 (31:17):
All right, it was all sign well eight hundred two
ninety two fifty one fifty Dominique.
Speaker 12 (31:23):
Yes, so the first time I knew if like he
accused me of things that he already.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
Doing, Okay, that's it.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
Yep.
Speaker 12 (31:30):
When he was at work, he was talking to somebody.
I've had to find the time in the longer runer.
But when I work he was telling me, oh, you're
talking to one of your co workers, you know. I
wouldn't even associate with no coworkers, but he would. You know,
saw that at me.
Speaker 11 (31:43):
But when I go through his phone.
Speaker 13 (31:44):
He was texting co workers, so you look beautiful today?
Speaker 6 (31:47):
Am I gonna see you later?
Speaker 1 (31:50):
He was doing exactly what he was accusing you of doing.
Speaker 6 (31:53):
Yes, pople putting me out.
Speaker 12 (31:56):
And I went through his phone. He was texting girls,
telling no, I thank god.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
She got what I know.
Speaker 4 (32:02):
That hurt though to see that. You know that feeling,
you get that not in your stomach.
Speaker 7 (32:07):
Yeah, you know that feeling.
Speaker 12 (32:09):
That with the girl that takes She said, y'all don't
need to be together if you gotta.
Speaker 7 (32:14):
Do one, okay, real one.
Speaker 4 (32:19):
We get around, all right, Well, thank you for calling.
I hope you found somebody better. I'm working, okay, okay,
this is the year girl.
Speaker 12 (32:28):
Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 1 (32:29):
Medicit Is. Hey, hey, so judsmine and I want to
know how you knew that man was cheating.
Speaker 7 (32:35):
That's what happened.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
They said.
Speaker 13 (32:37):
I had dated this man for fourteen years, but in
a relationship, I was cleaning up, pulling his clothes and
a good girlfriend. I wanted to try to push their
dresser and it was some papers back there. I pulled
them out and they said std pack under how many partners?
They said, multiple partners?
Speaker 1 (32:53):
Oh, my great day, My goodness.
Speaker 6 (32:56):
Hey, I knew for sure he was cheated.
Speaker 1 (32:59):
So how'd you confirmed?
Speaker 13 (33:01):
Oh, walking that door. I'm not gonna incriminate myself, but
I war slam all.
Speaker 7 (33:08):
I guess there's no way he could deny it.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
Yeah, what are you gonna say? Multiple? A typo they
meant to.
Speaker 13 (33:16):
Put that man was a liar, he was habitual liar,
that met hynogamous.
Speaker 1 (33:21):
They put multiple.
Speaker 13 (33:24):
Exactly exactly like thank you talking to.
Speaker 7 (33:28):
When he said it was a type.
Speaker 4 (33:30):
Thank you for being responsible enough to get tested, sir,
thank you way exactly.
Speaker 13 (33:36):
But I'm gonna have to hand out.
Speaker 1 (33:37):
All right, Well, thank you for calling.
Speaker 7 (33:40):
Thank you having new year, New year.
