Speaker 3 (03:50):
That would shine a light eight hundred and two ninety
two fifty fifty in case you couldn't get through. And
when we come back, we have your yeete. And let's
start off with Beyonce doing her man's hair. She is
pushing the Sacred but people are saying it's a good brand,
so you know it's a haircare product.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Jordan Fish is here. We'll talk about it when we
come back. It's way up. She's just like the like
they Angela Jean, like they Angela Jean and.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
She's spilling it all this is yeaty.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Well, all right, his way up, but angela, Ye, I'm
here with comedian Jordan Fisher.

Speaker 5 (04:23):
How are you feeling today?

Speaker 4 (04:23):
I'm doing great. It's great Monday.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
Well, let's get right into this yeaty.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
So Beyonce posted a video where she's actually doing jay
Z's here.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
Jay Z's hair has become like.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
The biggest topics talk of the town ever since he
came out of the roots. Picnic would have picked out
everybody's like, yo, it's a look, a new look for ja.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
But also like didn't believe it. They were saying before
he had in like.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
You know, extending like a lace front front.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
Yeah, but you can.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
You can get that hair out like you can untange.
It's a long process though.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Yeah, they like five days.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
And so Beyonce did show part of that process. And
you know what was great about it. Let's use this
to promote the haircare brand, say Credity, to make you
want to use say Craig, I got, I got.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
A little little bit of career. Yeah, I got the
sample box.

Speaker 5 (05:04):
Yes, so did I.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Yeah, and actually was pretty and people do say that
that product is good. So here is, and I'm sure
it's selling out now. So here's what that sounded like.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
We're using all of the Blue products.

Speaker 10 (05:16):
I really admire Jay's patience. After six days of removing
his locks, we spent another day detangling and really deep conditioning,
a blow dried his hair, trimmed his hands before we washed.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
It, and on the show day his flat was beautiful.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
I thought somebody else did all this, but she said,
oh yeah, yeah, I.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Get somebody to tangle it out. Get get the comb
ready now.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
People were also blown away by the fact that he
started growing his hair because of Blue and Beyonce said
that in the video he wanted her to see the
beauty in her natural hair. So they thought it was
sweet that that was the reason why and gave that
type of explanation.

Speaker 7 (05:57):
Yeah, I mean it's a lot. It's a lot of
talk ever since jay Z came out on stage on
the rootspecting it. But people people firing back now, Oh yeah, yeah,
you see you see Dame Dash put out that video.

Speaker 5 (06:06):
Oh the song.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Cheap tea, cheap tee, cheap gatty like that too, you know,
I think we have a snippet of it.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
Cheap gee, cheap chee, cheat chee cheap chee, suspended that
o Gee.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Helped helped me.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
He's she's I think he's also referencing Cameron.

Speaker 7 (06:32):
Yeah, man, this is not a good look for him,
and then also having like whoever that artist is that
was with him that.

Speaker 5 (06:38):
That think that's his artist, that's his artist.

Speaker 7 (06:41):
Nikki lcky ain't gonna make it. She's giving Malibu's most
wanted right now.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
My goodness.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Well, you know, Cameron, did I have a little something
to say about it. He did say that he had
secondhand embarrassment and he said, this is sad. I'm sorry
everyone that he turned out like this. We're going to
do a case study to see what happened to him.
This might be a get out situation.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Yeah, that's not the first thing you want to go.
I guess is Cam and Mason.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
I mean they're literally every single day being able to snap.
But then I also think that Damon dash is like
this just brings more attention to what I have going on,
and what does he have going on? He does have
his own network that he launched, and he's also building
a golf course okay, which I saw he posted about.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
That, and maybe stick to that stay out the booth.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
All right, well that is your ut.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
When we come back, we have about last night, we'll discuss.
It was a very active weekend. I was actually at
a block party in Brooklyn over the weekend, and I
want to say that my house was NonStop busy over
the weekend. Ie Rawlings came over and cooked again, and
I'll tell you all about it.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
He made turkey wings. That's usually not my thing, but
his were really good.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
All right, I need to invite for next time.

Speaker 5 (07:51):

Speaker 7 (08:21):
I was down in New Orleans. I was doing some
shows down there at a club called Sports Drink.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
Great town. I love New Orleans. Great club. New Orleans
isn't really like a big comedy town. They're drinking in
music town.

Speaker 7 (08:31):
So to have them like have this new comedy club
down there and like get that scene really popping the stope.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
So they're they're fun, their fun crowd, that's true.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
I've been in New Orleans a lot, and I've never
I don't think i've ever been to see comedy in
New Orleans.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
Nah, because you're busy in the street, people throwing bees
and drinking, you know, and.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
That's gonna be a really good throwing drinking hands.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
That's what I said. They drinking throwing it. Oh no,
never that. Yeah, yeah, they throwed them back.

Speaker 7 (08:56):
Well.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
I was here a June teenth.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
I hosted an event at Herbert von King Park, which
is beautiful. It was a family friendly event all day
that the local city council does toosay, who's my counselman,
and this park.

Speaker 5 (09:07):
I walked there.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
It's near my house, so that was really nice to
be able to do. And the mayor, Mom Donnie came out. Yeah,
so shout out to Rise Project sos Brooklyn, the bets
diyed Double Dutch Club, all of that.

Speaker 5 (09:18):
It was really fun. It was like an all day
and it was so well carriated.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
I actually posted about it because I was so impressed
with like all of the different activations they had, so
shout out to everybody there. We had Obviously they were
watching the World Cup inside my coffee shop at camp.

Speaker 7 (09:35):
World Cup is going World Cup and Cup. Yeah, it's exciting.
I'd never watched soccer, but I'm tuned in.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
And then it was Father's Day yesterday, so my dad
came over. Donelle Rowlings was there. He cooked all day Saturday.
I feel like my house was just a rotating like
everybody coming in and leaving. But it was a nice
holiday weekend. It was like NonStop kickbacks. Even on Juneteenth.

Speaker 5 (09:58):
I didn't go to bed till like four and more.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
Oh you was up.

Speaker 5 (10:01):
Yeah, we were in the backyard listening to music.

Speaker 4 (10:03):

no judgment zone, so you can call us up and
tell us anything.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
Maybe you've plagiarized in the past, just like Tony Hinchcliff
stole a joke from Jordan Fisher. Maybe you, at some
point in your life have plagiarized, or maybe you've used
AI to write a paper, whatever it is.

Speaker 5 (10:35):
We're not here to judge you.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
We ain't here to judge, but we need to know.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
Wait but what did the husband? What the husband that
passed out think I'd be mad?

Speaker 5 (11:41):
Oh no, he was passed out.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
Yeah, but you still got to wake up. Did y'all
tell him?

Speaker 2 (11:45):
What if he No?

Speaker 5 (11:47):
No, that's why it's the secret, Jordan.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
But I mean, it ain't that misser of a secret
if we're talking about it right now.

Speaker 5 (11:52):
No, I don't know who she is. She's anonymous, that's true.
So you don't want to offer it to her husband too? No,
want to, but I wouldn't take it either. He's not
your type.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
No, you said you're doing that.

Speaker 7 (12:08):

double day.

Speaker 5 (12:29):
Yeah for real, all right, thank you for sharing with us.
Thank you, anonymous. Color. What's your secret?

Speaker 1 (12:37):
So my ex ended up marrying.

Speaker 9 (12:41):

Speaker 1 (12:42):
So I ended up sleeping with his brother.

Speaker 5 (12:45):
Cousin's baby mother, baby mother, and you slept Wait was
he doing that while you were with him? Like cheating?
I'm sure he was.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
Dang. Oh you can hear it in her voice. She's like, yeah,

Speaker 7 (12:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (13:00):
Oh no, so you slept with actually so so my
cousin and him was locked up at the same time. Okay,
and she strove with me to go pick him up.

Speaker 5 (13:11):
Oh my god, that is awful.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
This is a Tyler Perry movie. You're living right now.

Speaker 3 (13:18):

Speaker 3 (14:28):
Well that was tell us a secret eight hundred two
ninety two fifty fifty just in case you couldn't get through.
And when we come back, Jordan and I have your
yet and we'll talk about Geno Smith. It turns out
cops are investigating these assault claims. Will give you the details.
It's way up.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Because she came with receipts.

Speaker 4 (14:45):
It's time to.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Spill that yet.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
Yeah, it's way up at Angel like ye, Jordan Fish
is here with me today.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
What up?

Speaker 3 (14:51):
Getting ready for Bits and Pieces to drop on YouTube
tomorrow night at eight. That's right, Tuna, All right, now
let's get into the yet. So Geno Smith, there's allegations
about him being abusive, and these are just allegations from
what we know so far. Now, a woman named Kristen
posted in her Instagram stories today is the day Geno

(15:11):
Smith beat Mike because he hated taking care of a
special needs kid. And she said he plays call of
duty and watches sex online. Yeah, and she said charges
were oppressed. After all of that, you saw the cops
ended up showing up.

Speaker 5 (15:26):
And here's some of that video. Gino just beat my ass.
That's why.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
I came down.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
I put seven down and I let you right upside
and attacks me.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
This is crazy.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
Now, according to TMZ, officials are looking into these allegations
that were made against New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith
over the weekend.

Speaker 5 (15:49):
So we'll keep you guys updated on what's going on
with that.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
Just gonna have to find a new quarterback.

Speaker 5 (15:56):
Listen. You know, I don't know, but I hate to
see stuff like that happen.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
Yeah, it's terrible, it's terrible.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
Now in the meantime, ice Cube is addressing this whole
fight that happened with the Big Three and Lance Stevenson
and Michael Beasley have been suspended.

Speaker 5 (16:12):
The season is really just getting started.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
It was the Miami three oh five and LA Riot
and they had to do one game suspensions already. They
do encourage the players to be aggressive, right, because it's
not the same rules as the NBA. Call your own fouls, yeah,
call your own fouls. The incident stem from a sequence
where Stevenson appeared to tackle Devin Ebanks and then also

(16:36):
take a swing at Jordan Crawford. There was some tension
on the floor, a league officials determined disciplinary action was necessary,
and Ice Cube did publicly address this and say apologies
to everybody watching the Miami three oh five versus LA
Riot on CBS yesterday. We all wanted to see a
great basketball game.

Speaker 5 (16:55):
That wasn't it.

Speaker 4 (16:56):
Even Draymond Green looking at him like, hey, you need
to call down right? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (17:02):
All right?

Speaker 3 (17:03):
And is calling out musicians who support AI music. She
found out that two hundred and thirty eight of her
songs have trained AI. So you know, AI uses different artists, yeah,
to train their models.

Speaker 4 (17:16):
Two hundred and thirty eight.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
Yes, and she posted just checked and music AI has
trained off two hundred thirty eight of my songs.

Speaker 5 (17:23):
I'm certain some are unreleased.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
If you're a musician and you support this degenerate ish,
you're disgusting and there's nothing you could ever say to
me to make this okay.

Speaker 5 (17:32):
I hope you have the life you deserve.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
Yay, good on Sissy for calling it out. You got
to be original, be an artist. That's what you're here for.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
You know, it's a scary time right now because I've
heard people say, well, it helps in certain ways. If
you're a songwriter and you can't sing, it can help
you get the songs out to artists.

Speaker 5 (17:49):
You know, if you can't sing, you can't sing as
a songwriter.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
Though, ok, you're a writer and you want to sell
your songs because before you have to get somebody to
sing it as a reference.

Speaker 4 (17:57):
I can see that maybe, but just not to put
it out that I had to be putting it out there.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
But we did have an AI artist come up here,
this woman who has an AI artist that actually got
like a huge deal, and she was saying that there's
so many people doing AI music.

Speaker 5 (18:12):
It's not like any of them are ever doing really well.

Speaker 4 (18:14):
Yeah, it's not going to stick out.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
You got to she said hers did, but it's like
it doesn't just yeah, it's still is a process, need
that soul. All right, Well that is your yeet And
when we come back under the radar, these are the
stories that are not necessarily in the headlines. They're flying
under the radar. This one's not a good one. There's
a record being broken and that has to do with

(18:36):
adults and where they are living right now.

Speaker 5 (18:39):
And we'll tell you what record that is. But we
got to talk about what the reasons are behind this.

Speaker 8 (18:44):
It's way up this in the news that relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
All right, it's way up with Angela yee. I'm here
with Jordan Fisher, comedian, and let's get into some of
these stories. So, a record twenty five point two million
young adu else in the US now live with their parents.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
It's hard out there.

Speaker 5 (19:03):
This is according to realtor dot com.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
So that's about one in three Americans under the age
of thirty five.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
Man, is that wild?

Speaker 7 (19:11):
It's wild, man, it's rough, oather, it's hard being a
home own I'm trying to get one too. Well.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
Listen, they're talking about rent, home prices and student debt
are the reasons why people are having to live with
their parents right now.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
I don't even see kids playing house anymore now.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
One political strategist Amishia Cross that it's not by choice.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
They are broke.

Speaker 4 (19:28):
Yeah, people got to get your hustle. I'll get you
signed hustle. Need one job.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
It's so tough out there right now. I want to
like I remember when I bought my first house.

Speaker 5 (19:38):
It was doable.

Speaker 4 (19:40):
Man. I'm trying to get like you. I'm still trying
to buy my first house.

Speaker 7 (19:42):
Man.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
Well there, you guys should go check out this interview
that I did on a Wealth Wednesday with NAKA and
they actually this organization helps people get into their first home,
a home that you're going to live in with no
money down, the lowest interest rate you can possibly gets,
and no PMI, no mortgage in Shine.

Speaker 5 (20:03):
But it's a process. I'm gonna send it to you.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
Shout out to Bruce Marxis, CEO and founder because I
saw a lot of people in a comment saying I
bought my home through NAKA. I bought my home, but
it's a commitment, like you really have to take these
financial courses. They're not going to put you in something
that you can afford, because that's another issue that people have.
And they also don't use your credit score. So they're
going to just take a look at your past couple
of years of payments made and rent and everything else.

Speaker 5 (20:27):
And they'll use that.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
They just see if you pay your Netflix on time
or something.

Speaker 5 (20:30):
Pay your Netflix on time.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
For you right here?

Speaker 5 (20:34):
All right?

Speaker 3 (20:35):
And Donald Trump, speaking of spending money, he spent fourteen
point seven million dollars renovating the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool
in front of his house. And now he's saying that
vandals sabotage that pool because people were making fun of it.
I mean, it looks disgusting. It already looks like their
mold has all grown back. And he's gotten people arrested,

(20:57):
at least five people arrested in the alleged tampering of
that and according to truth Social Donald Trump brought on there.
Please remember, there's a ten year prison sentence for the
destruction or even the attempted destruction of such things, which
will be fully enforced.

Speaker 4 (21:11):
What's the prison sentence for everything else he's done?

Speaker 5 (21:13):
Though none.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
But I want to say one person that got arrested
said all he did was like touch the little like
a piece that was peeling off, and they detained him
for five hours. WHOA, So nobody's trying to destroy this pool.
You just messed up and spent money for no reason.
You know how many homes people could have bought with
that money you spent on doing a pool over all? Right, Well,
that is your under the radar. We do have the
way it mixed. At the top of the hour, plus,

(21:36):
we have sleep doctor Chris joining us, and he has
a book out called Sweet Dreams.

Speaker 5 (21:41):
It's a children's book, but he gives.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
Great information on how you can sleep better and on
sleep apnea and how to know if you're having some
issues that could be a medical condition.

Speaker 5 (21:50):
All right, it's way up, they says.

Speaker 8 (21:53):
Rooms from industry shade to all of gossip out, send angels.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Spieling that.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (22:00):
His way up?

Speaker 3 (22:01):
But Angela yee and bits and pieces on yout tomorrow
at eight pm. And we're lucky enough to have Jordan
Fisher here with us today with his stand up comedy
special coming out tomorrow nights. That's right, all right, So
let's get into some of this yet, so rest and
peace to take Keith.

Speaker 5 (22:16):
His family did release a statement after he passed away.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
Man, that's a hard one.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
Yeah, they said, it's with profound sadness that we confirm
the passing of Britabias Take Keith Chambers. He was a
visionary producer, songwriter, entrepreneur, philanthropists and cultural force. So we
want to give our condolences to take Keith's family. You know,
just really well known and obviously him as Sexy red Hat.
Quite a bit of history together too, right, thank you
for all the music.

Speaker 4 (22:41):
Take Keith.

Speaker 5 (22:41):
Yeah, shout out to Memphis.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
Gulorilla posted calling him a real Memphis legend, rip soldier.
All right now, also rest in peace. This is just
in Clive Davis has died. He was ninety four years old.

Speaker 4 (22:55):
Legend.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Yeah, so you know Clive Davis as the person who
launched the careers of people like Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin,
I mean, Kelly Clarkson. And he died at his home today,
according to the New York Times. Now, the cause of
death is unclear, but he is ninety four years old.

Speaker 4 (23:11):
I think it's pretty clear.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
Well, he was hospitalized last month after an upper respiratory infection.
He was sent home doing fourth from the hospital. Yeah,
and since then has passed but a fifty year career.
Literally people like Bruce Springsteen, Janis Joplin, Carlos Santana.

Speaker 5 (23:30):
Yeah, insane, insane.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
His sane category of music.

Speaker 5 (23:33):
All right, now, let's talk about since we're talking about legends. Madonna.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
She is on the cover of Interview magazine and one
thing that she talks about is she has a new
project that she's just finished, a new album. But when
asked by an interview magazine, why this album now, she said,
I was supposed to make a movie about my life.
I worked on my script for two years and spent
two years at Universal Studios doing budgeting, casting, and then

(23:59):
they fell out. So she I guess needed an extraordinary
budget and they didn't look at it that way. She
said that she found a way to make it for
less money in Serbia, in Serbia.

Speaker 4 (24:12):
Going across the seas get her story out there, and it.

Speaker 5 (24:15):
Didn't work out.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
And now she got an offer to do something a
series with Netflix, but she can't use that script unless
she pays an exorbitant amount of money.

Speaker 4 (24:24):
Oh wow, Yeah, so we might have like a docu
series of Madonna.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
Yeah, so I don't know how this is going to
end up happening, but I guess during the midst of
all of that she had some things to get.

Speaker 5 (24:36):
Off her chest.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
I mean, listen, Madonna got some wild stories.

Speaker 5 (24:38):
So I feel like all the stuff we do know.

Speaker 3 (24:41):
I remember she had the Sex Book when I was
a little kid and my parents had this and she listened.
Madonna has been on the front lines promoting women's positivity
when it comes to sex.

Speaker 4 (24:53):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, shout out to Madonna opening up some minds.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
And just in shock that the movie studio, she said,
didn't believe in her. It to me, that's like automatically
she's on board and working with you on it.

Speaker 4 (25:11):
Yeah. She was one of the big stars of the ages.

Speaker 5 (25:13):
I would love to hear what they had to say.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
Yeah, all right, well that is your yeetee and when
we come back, let's talk about your special bits and pieces.

Speaker 5 (25:22):
It's dropping on YouTube tomorrow night at eight pm.

Speaker 4 (25:24):
That's right.

Speaker 7 (25:25):
I need everybody tuning in in the comment session, like
and subscribing, watching, sharing.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
With your friends.

Speaker 5 (25:30):
I know this is a big deal. I'm glad that
you're here to talk about it. It's way up.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
All right, his way up at Angela yee on a Monday.

Speaker 5 (25:41):
Jordan Fish is here with me today.

Speaker 4 (25:43):
Yes, nice to be here.

Speaker 5 (25:44):
You would just on way up at Angela ye. Just
last week.

Speaker 4 (25:46):
As a matter of fact, last week I had to
come back through.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
Yes because importantly enough tomorrow on YouTube, your special Bits
and Pieces is coming out a big night for me,
all right at eight pm. And let's play a little
clip that you recently posted from that special.

Speaker 4 (26:02):
I think it was making me a real New Yorker.

Speaker 7 (26:03):
Is the fact that somebody smoke cracking my face the
other day because I was just standing on a train platform.
I was just waiting for the train to come. And
as I was standing there, this guy walked up and
as soon as he opened his mouth, I was like, oh,
that's a day walker.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
Crack is. They don't say a lot, but what they
do say they say a bunch. This guy walked up
to me, look at me.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
He said, God blessed you.

Speaker 4 (26:24):
Better. I got bled you, I got bleaded you.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
They always blessed. Let me, brother, I got blessed you to.

Speaker 11 (26:26):
Be blas byah, God bless you every day and like
by God bless you black.

Speaker 5 (26:30):
All right, Well, I.

Speaker 4 (26:31):
Want to know that's a true story, Angela.

Speaker 5 (26:34):
I tell you, I'm so used to it.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
Man, I'm used to it, but it still catchs you
off guard a little bit.

Speaker 5 (26:39):
So you grew up in North Carolina, I grew up.

Speaker 4 (26:41):
In North Carolina. I moved here ten years ago.

Speaker 7 (26:43):
But it still catch you off guard every time because
it's like, you know, you got your headphones and then
you face to face and you're like, oh man.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
You know what's really funny is when people that are
not from here experience.

Speaker 5 (26:54):
That for the first time.

Speaker 3 (26:55):
Yeah, because I told you I was there to experience.

Speaker 5 (26:57):
It with one of my friends. But you know, you're
so By the way, also, recently.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
We went viral talking about certain jokes in there that
one of them may have been stolen by Tony Hinch class.

Speaker 7 (27:06):
Yeah, allegedly possibly. You know, maybe it kind of looked
pretty similar. So yeah, you know one of those, one
of those jokes is in the special. But listen, you know,
I want to keep the positivity.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
We're going to keep them positively because I saw other
people saying it.

Speaker 7 (27:21):
Yeah, people were saying it, and that's the same way
I found out because I didn't know and then people
were like, hey, George, what's up with this?

Speaker 4 (27:25):
And I was like, yeah, what what's up with that? So,
you know, but I don't know. I feel like my special,
you know, the joke is delivered the right way.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
It's been perfectly crafted right stet out of Houston originally.
Now as you're getting this done, I also want people
to understand that you spent your own money, yes, producing
this special.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
Out of my own pocket.

Speaker 7 (27:45):
You know, I self funding my own dreams and that's
why a lot of us comedians are doing it now,
you know. So, uh, that's why I need this one
to hit. I need everybody to come watch it, you know,
like subscribe, leave a comment, share it with your friends,
pass it along, rewatch it. Just throw it on in
the background while you're doing your dishes.

Speaker 4 (28:01):
I don't care. Just get them views up, baby. I
just need people to see this special.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
Yeah, it's funny, and I'm always pleasantly surprised when I
get to see a special that is funny, because you know,
there's so many times that you can get let down
by people. And sometimes there's people who have big platforms
and you're look, eh, yeah it was some people you like,
if you had to say, give me three classic comedy
specials that you that inspired you.

Speaker 7 (28:23):
Ooh, three classic comedy specials, Okay, I'd say Chappelle's early ones,
you know, like, yeah, for what it's worth. And then
I like Bill Burr's of one that was in black
and white. I think it's called I'm sorry you feel
that way. That's a classic. And then I'm gonna go
old school with the first one that I ever saw,

(28:44):
which was Richard Pryor live in concert.

Speaker 5 (28:46):
At a young age.

Speaker 7 (28:47):
At a young young age, I was nine years old.
But you know who always really makes me laugh too,
is Dion Cole. Every special he.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
Plays special are really good too, so funny underrated his
podcast as well. Yeah, yeah, I think he's doing a
great job of his podcas.

Speaker 4 (29:00):
Funny dude, Bro, He's a funny dude.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
Okay, we're here, all right, But when we come back,
since you're here, would you mind giving people some advice
because they're going to call in eight hundred two nine
to two fifty one point fifty any question you have,
Jordan and I are here to help you out.

Speaker 5 (29:15):
And this could be about anything.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
It could be about relationships, it could be about work,
it could be about friendships, family, whatever it is, We're
here to help you out.

Speaker 5 (29:22):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty call us up.

Speaker 8 (29:26):

career advice, Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
This is ask Gee, brought to.

Speaker 9 (29:34):
You by top Dog Long.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
What's up his way up at Angela Yee and it's
time for ask ye. Jordan Fisher is here with me
to help you out. Well, this is something you got
to take advantage of.

Speaker 4 (29:46):
Yeah, you need our help.

Speaker 3 (29:49):
And right now Nikki is on the line and her
man just goes missing. She hasn't heard from him in days.

Speaker 9 (29:55):
I have a.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Boyfriend and we are like on more and for the
we have supposed.

Speaker 5 (30:01):
But kids, Okay, what happened?

Speaker 9 (30:06):
And he's the old president.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
I'm in my thirties sixties, I guess he's old.

Speaker 9 (30:11):
And you like you know, he's he can't be with
a young girl.

Speaker 7 (30:15):
And more some wait wait, wait, you're in your thirties.
He's in his sixties. Yeah, yes, and y'all have that
Maybe his ringer ain't on yees heard his ringer back
all so he knows you're trying.

Speaker 3 (30:27):
To contact his father single Yeah, real, he will love
you in your thirties, but don't be coming around trying
to boss me around.

Speaker 4 (30:36):
Be the same age girl's been.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
We've been for like four years now, but I'm like,
I felt like we're this singing because of his mother
who is ill, and I think I give him pace
so that he can take care of his mama. But
I've been giving him back space.

Speaker 9 (30:51):
Let this right now.

Speaker 5 (30:52):
Have you seen him? Have you heard him? As he
active on social media?

Speaker 1 (30:56):
Why he's not a social media person.

Speaker 5 (30:58):
Besides watch he's on WhatsApp.

Speaker 4 (31:01):
He's on WhatsApp, that's the only thing.

Speaker 5 (31:05):
Are you sure he's okay?

Speaker 4 (31:06):
Yeah, you need to go do a wellness check. He
might have fallen, so.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
You make sure he's okay.

Speaker 4 (31:13):
Yeah, he might be in the bathtub.

Speaker 5 (31:19):
I mean, I think first things first, let's make.

Speaker 3 (31:21):
Sure this man is like, yeah, you know, functional real
drive through the neighborhood.

Speaker 4 (31:25):
Have y'all seen mister Charles?

Speaker 5 (31:29):
But seriously, are you sure he's okay?

Speaker 1 (31:31):
I'm pretty sure. Yes, I'm pretty sure he's okay.

Speaker 5 (31:34):
He's active on WhatsApp.

Speaker 9 (31:36):
Yeah, he lost while here.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
He was on mine at ten forty.

Speaker 4 (31:41):
Seven, she got a time stamp and everything.

Speaker 5 (31:43):
Ten forty seven. Okay, does he do stuff like this often? Here?

Speaker 9 (31:50):
Here?

Speaker 5 (31:51):
Yet?

Speaker 4 (31:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (31:52):
I mean listen. And you also said his mom's going
through it right now to time. Yeah, and this man
is in his sixties. You know, you gotta understand the
old men get the more we like, Hey, I'm where
I'm at. I'll tell you when.

Speaker 4 (32:04):
You need to be told.

Speaker 5 (32:05):
Are you in love with him? Do you see yourself
getting married?

Speaker 6 (32:07):
Like?

Speaker 5 (32:08):
What's what do you want? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
I can't even tell you.

Speaker 4 (32:12):
It sounds like y'all both need to work on communication issues.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Yeah, that's one thing with him is communication. It's a
problem because if something is bothering him, he would not
be mind enough to sit there and talk to me
about it. I have to be the one the first
issue to talk to him. And if I do talk
to him, he's gonna get mad and get up.

Speaker 9 (32:29):
But he wouldn't speak much.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
He would just get up and walk up and complication.

Speaker 5 (32:34):
He's old school.

Speaker 4 (32:34):
Yeah, he's old schools. Yeah, yeah, for real.

Speaker 3 (32:38):
It feels like if a person can't respect what you
need in a relationship, you know, we can't make excuses
for them. I understand that his mother sick, though, so
I get that but if you're not getting what you need,
and this is something that's happened before, and also the
communication is off, you know, you gotta let him know.
And I know sometimes people get very set in their ways,
but if it's not working for you, this is something

(32:59):
you gotta figure oute what's next.

Speaker 4 (33:01):
I think you need to.

Speaker 7 (33:02):
Think about finding somebody in their thirties and forties that
is also on Instagram and text messaging, and you have
multiple ways of getting to them besides WhatsApp waiting for
that double blue check mark.

Speaker 5 (33:14):
It doesn't feel like this is it.

Speaker 4 (33:16):
Yeah, you can find somebody else with AARP benefits They
out there.

Speaker 5 (33:23):
I'm gonna miss those discounts.

Speaker 4 (33:25):
Right, three dollars off movies?

Speaker 8 (33:30):
All right?

Speaker 5 (33:31):
All right, well, thank you for calling.

Speaker 4 (33:33):
Good luck.

Speaker 5 (33:34):
Well that was asking Ye eight hundred and two nine
two fifty one fifty Jordan. You feel like we helped.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
I think we helped. I hope, I hope. So my
dad's looking, Yeah, my dad's out there. Do you like
the dudes in the sixties? If I got somebody for you?

Speaker 3 (33:47):
All right, well, Asking Y is brought to you by
Top Dog Law called them. For any accident, big or small,
go to top dog law dot com. And when we
come back, sleep doctor Chris is going to be joining us.
As a child, he had sleep apnea and learned a
lot about it, and he's a sleep doctor. He's going
to help you learn how to get the best sleep possible.

Speaker 12 (34:05):
It's way up, amos famous women in radio vidio.

Speaker 2 (34:10):
We're talking about angela ye. You're way up with angela ye.
Please believe that what's up?

Speaker 3 (34:15):
His way up with angela yee, and I mean way
up and awake, O King, what was it here with
me today?

Speaker 5 (34:20):
And sleep doctor christ you're back again.

Speaker 3 (34:23):
You know last time you were here was so popular
and so helpful for a lot of our audience.

Speaker 11 (34:27):
No, I appreciate that. I'm not gonna lie as a
dream pun intended. It was a dream come true, a
sweet dream because us sweet.

Speaker 5 (34:33):
Dream I like that, And a lot has happened since then.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
So you have this book also Sweet Dreams, and it's
a children's book.

Speaker 11 (34:40):
It is it's an adaptation of my personal story. And
I know I came on last time talking about like
having obstructive sleep athnea. And I always think about when
I was younger, what I wish that my mom would
have known. And I want people to look at this
to help them with.

Speaker 3 (34:56):
Their children, to identify because when you think about it,
there's kids that go to and you're like, oh, he's distracted,
he's always tired in class, he can't concentrate, and that
could be indicative of something that's a sleep disorder.

Speaker 11 (35:09):
Yeah, and so for obstructive sleep afnea, it can mimic
ADHD when kids don't get sleep. Yeah, they could be tired,
but it comes off as being hyperactive. It comes off
with having an attention And so that was basically what
happened when I was younger as well, and so I
put that into the story so parents know, I's like, wait,
they may have a sleep disorder, so they might need

(35:31):
to see like a sleep.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
Doctor like me.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
Right now, sleep doctor Chris is back again, and I
want to make sure for your own health purposes, you
get the best sleep you possibly can.

Speaker 4 (35:40):
My schedule is crazy.

Speaker 12 (35:41):
I tour for a living on a comedian and I
usually have late night shows like and sometimes I wake
up and do this morning show.

Speaker 4 (35:47):
So I was like a very sporadic schedule to say
the least.

Speaker 12 (35:50):
How would someone like that have what have quote unquote
normal sleep if they don't have the regular nine to
five no constantly in different times zones like I was
in Sam station last week, so slowly all over.

Speaker 11 (36:01):
What happens is like that's when you have to prioritize
your sleep even more. When you're going to bed, you
still have to prioritize trying to get best seven to
nine hours and making sure that your bedroom is three things.
They need to be cool, it needs to be quiet,
and then it needs to be dark. And so if
you're sleeping at different times, make sure you can set
that timer. And even if it's like a less amount

(36:23):
where it's like I can only get five, still get
those five hours and find where you can get those
extra two. Because I always tell people this mister Salman
wants his money and he's going to collect. They literally
call it sleep that for a reason.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
Man. Another thing I want to discuss is doom scrolling,
and that's been such a huge topic lately, where people
are just laying in their bed for hours just scrolling
on the phone and they look at it like.

Speaker 5 (36:48):
Well, I got in bed at eight o'clock, but I
didn't go to bed till.

Speaker 4 (36:51):
Oh And then you get caught of doing emails.

Speaker 3 (36:53):
And then you wake up in the morning and the
first thing you do is reach for your phone. And
I've heard that even sleeping with your phone next to
you is really bad for.

Speaker 11 (37:01):
You, So no, it definitely is. And first even the
light from your phone looking at it. I tell people
it's kind of like taking an expression shot right before bed,
and you wouldn't want to do that because then it's
trying to trick your brain that it's time to stay up.
And then the second layer of that, you know, doom scrolling,
because you know when you're falling asleep, just for adults,
you need to find that way where you're winding down

(37:24):
into bed. I always tell people that you want to
make sure that you are going to bed, not just
falling asleep, because if you try to like literally land
a plane like mid air that's literally crashing, you don't
want to do that. And doom scrolling, you know, we
look at one thing least to the next. Start getting
your anxiety and your cort isol going up with that

(37:46):
fight or flight. That's not going to help your sleep.
The bedroom is only four three things and they all
start with the letter S. So if you're sick, if
you're sleeping, and we know what that third s is
for and if you're in bed and you're not falling
asleep within twenty minutes, get out of bed and do

(38:06):
something boring.

Speaker 5 (38:07):
Clean the house.

Speaker 11 (38:08):
It could be journaling, that's helpful. Just write out thoughts.

Speaker 3 (38:11):
All right, Sleep doctor Chris is back and he's got
more valuable information for you.

Speaker 5 (38:16):
It's way up at Angela Yee. Stay tuned.

Speaker 2 (38:18):
Oh, let's go to turn me up here we go
up there. This is way up with Angela.

Speaker 9 (38:23):
Ye.

Speaker 3 (38:23):
What's up as way up at Angela Yee. And sleep
doctor Chris is in the building with me. He's got
a new book out. It's a children's book called Sweet Dreams,
and he really wants to make sure you get the
best sleep possible.

Speaker 4 (38:33):
How do you feel about melatonin.

Speaker 11 (38:36):
It's a hormone that we all make in our bodies
and it helps facilitate you going to bed. But a
lot of people take the wrong dose at the wrong time.
And this is my disclaimer. I am a sleep doctor,
but I'm not your sleep doctor. Of course, about er
point five milligrams to one milligram that's all you need,
and it's about two hours before you go to your

(38:58):
gold bedtime. And so a lot of people take that
wrong dost at the wrong time. When I tell people
that they're reaching for melatonin, you need to be reaching
for the sleep doctor because there might be something happening
that they can fix without you going through the pain
of trying to figure out yourself.

Speaker 5 (39:13):
What about a glass of wine?

Speaker 11 (39:15):
So I usually tell people try to take it about
a couple of hours before you go to bed, because
a lot of peoples like, oh man, alcohol's going to
make me fall asleep, and it does. But what it'll do,
it'll chop up your sleep. Even though you might fall asleep,
it's not going to help in the long run.

Speaker 5 (39:30):
And edibles.

Speaker 11 (39:31):
The American Academy Sleep Medicine right now, they do not
recommend anyone taking anything marijuana or marijuana adjacent to help
falling asleep. That also chops up your sleep as well too.
It can make you sleepy. Well, we'll make you go
to bed, but when you wake up, you're still gonna
feel groggy.

Speaker 3 (39:50):
Right now, sleep Doctor Chris is back again, and I
want to make sure for your own health purposes, you
get the best sleep you possibly can.

Speaker 5 (39:57):
Lastly, a lot of people have anxiety right now.

Speaker 3 (40:00):
What are some tips for people who are going through
something right now, and every time they lay down, their
head is just filled with all these different things.

Speaker 5 (40:07):
Their mind is racing.

Speaker 11 (40:08):
Yeah, and I mean that happens all the time. Give
yourself grace and when you're trying to force yourself to
go to sleep, you know, it's kind of trying to
like make a toddler eat vegetables. And so if it
takes you more than twenty minutes, get out of bed.
I have a guide. I have like a fourteen day
sleeper set. I do that because I hear that too

(40:29):
many times and too many people were sending me dms
like well what do I do about my anxiety? Or
like how can you help that out? And so I
have a guide in fourteen days where that can help.
Even though it is a shameless plug, but it is
so important.

Speaker 5 (40:41):
No, we appreciate that.

Speaker 3 (40:43):
I'm saying any type of guide or help yep. I
know anybody listening is like I would do what I
need to do.

Speaker 11 (40:48):
Yeah, And that's why I made it for them. So
you know, you go sleep doctor Chris dot com. You'll
find it. Go on social media. I talk about it
all the time. But things that you can start doing tonight.
You know, if it takes you more than twenty minutes
get out of bed, keep the phones away, and especially
whatever is triggering your anxiety, try to block yourself away
from it at least an hour before bedtime. Give me

(41:10):
yourself healthy boundaries, because that's what's important.

Speaker 12 (41:13):
You know.

Speaker 5 (41:13):
I love every time you come up here. Sleep Doctor
Christy Andrew.

Speaker 11 (41:16):
First of all, thank you for letting me be on
the show. Like I said, it was a dream because
just the people that reach out and I had like
thirty two hundred followers and now it's at like four
hundred and twenty five thousands. Yes, I know, I glowed
up for the summer. There were some viral moments that happened,
and then I just hunkered down on it and honestly,
through that they were able to see your platform and

(41:38):
seeing things that you did and seeing how I was
on the show. So first of all, thank you for that.
And it also pushed me out there to get the
book throwing four Sweet Dreams.

Speaker 3 (41:47):
All right, Well, always is great information for us. You know,
sleep is like one of the most important things, is
one thing that everybody has to do. Oh yeah, you know,
so I appreciate you for everything that you're doing. For
coming up here, and you know we're gonna keep on
