Speaker 4 (01:24):
And today I want to shine a light on Savannah James.
You know that's Lebron's wife, and she posted for me.
Building has never been about doing more. It's been about
doing what matters with the right people at this is
Signed is the result of years of intuition, trust and ambition,
and I'm excited for what we'll build next. So Signed
is a parent company for three ventures that she has.

(01:46):
It's a creative agency called Crown and Conquer. It's a
member's only women's community called Let It Break, and Everybody's Crazy,
which is a podcast that she hosts alongside her business
partner April McDaniel. They're also doing this company in partnership
with Marcy Penn Capital Partners. That's the private equity and
VC firm that Jay Z has Oh yes, So basically

(02:09):
this is just going to be a hub to help
an ecosystem empower women with creativity, community and storytelling.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
That's so nice.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
We shine a light on you, Savannah James. All right, lakwan,
who do you want to shine a light on?

Speaker 6 (02:23):
I want to shine and light on my girlfriend deandrew birthday.

Speaker 7 (02:27):
I hope you have a beautiful day.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
What's your name, DeAndrea? Her name is DeAndre. How long
you guys been together?

Speaker 5 (02:36):
We've been for three years.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
You love your girl? I hear from that.

Speaker 8 (02:43):
Laugh.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
What y'all doing for the.

Speaker 9 (02:44):
Fourth for the fourth I don't know, Probably jump out,
you know, okay.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Pop out, jump out?

Speaker 4 (02:51):
All right, Well, thank you so much for calling and
shout out to DeAndre again.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Shine a light all right, thank you. I love when
a man love his girl.

Speaker 10 (02:59):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 11 (03:01):
All right.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Well, when we come back, we have yayichi and let's
discuss TV. We'll tell you about a new series that
has been renewed for US season two.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
We'll tell you why. You'll find out when we come back.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Okay, it's from industry shade to all of gos apout
sending Angela's feeling that yet.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
All right, but Angela, Yeah, I'm here with akem Woods.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Oh no, what's up?

Speaker 3 (03:24):
What's up?

Speaker 4 (03:24):
And man, I want to say that we were talking
about Alzheimer's behind the scenes, because Danny Glover has opened
up about living with Alzheimer's disease at the age of
seventy nine.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
He's going to be eighty July twenty second.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
First, he talked to People magazine and gave them an
exclusive interview talking about what's going on in his life,
and they said during this interview there were times that
he was speaking fine, connected thoughts, but then there were
times where he had unfinished thoughts and very poetic personal tangents,
and so just really sad to see him going through this.

(03:59):
He also went on The Today Show to talk about
his Alzheimer's diagnosis and here's what he said, you.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
Dealing with this Alzheimer's thing, Well, I could live with it,
and says do you fear losing your memories? I'm sure
as an advanced things going to be different in changing.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
It is so sad to see this, but he did
want to come forward. His daughter Mandisa was there for
the interviews as well, and she said, I think he's
aware sometimes and then sometimes he's not. And anybody who's
had to deal with a relative, close friend, parent, spouse,
somebody with Alzheimer's know how difficult it can be.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Yeah, all right now. JT's fans are threatening to.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Unfollow her because of her role as Satan's ex wife
and Chloe Wise's film sci fi psy By and Whyse
is a Canadian artist based in New York City. She
put out a collab post on Instagram with JT and
Gummy Films and here is what the trailer is. And
it's it's very creepy when you see it in real life,

(05:10):
but we have something very.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Small for you.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
That sounds creepy.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
We don't want to play too much of it.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
But here's the thing. She's an actress, JT.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
She's a rapper, she's from the City Girls. So I
wouldn't say she's a known actress. She's a known personality
and she's a known artist. But fans are calling her out,
they're threatening to unfollow her, rebuking her actions. You know,
I do think that people are saying it's creative and

(05:47):
other people are saying it's just scary and there's negative energy.
There's certain roles like would you play in a movie.
Well you probably would. I mean, I'm sure, but I'm
also not an actor, right, but well.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Yeah, she's not an actor either.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
But if you were trying to break into that, sometimes
there's going to be roles that people just feel like.

Speaker 9 (06:06):
I mean, I get it, it's our artistic freedom what
I play say in act, I mean.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Sure exactly.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
But you know, I think when you do things and
make those decisions, you have to anticipate there's going to
be some backlash, right, all right. Nemesis has been renewed
for season two on Netflix. They said, according to the
co creator and executive producer Tanny Meryl said, We're very
grateful to have it. We're going to make sure those
questions get answered. It even more questions are available available

(06:36):
for you to answer. Make no mistakes. Season two is
going to be bigger and better. So they're saying, go
back watch season one and get ready for the next.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Got to watch it.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
And you know, Courtney A. Kemp is one of the.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
Creators and executive producers who did all of this stuff
with fifty cent for Stars. Yeah, all right, well that
is your yeete. When we come back about last night,
I know you were with God free working last night, yep, podcasting.
I was in Atlanta. Came back from Atlanta yesterday. But
I'll tell you what I did as well. And I'm
all caught up on a show that I've been watching,
It's Way Up.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
So about last night, Yes, I went down.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
What's Up his way up at Angela. Ye, it's me,
and I came with.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
I was out in the streets. I was podcasting with No.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
No, No, Okay.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
Well, I came back from Atlanta yesterday, So shout out
to everybody in Atlanta. DJ Louis V to Joe, Joe Alonzo,
everybody I saw up at the station. And then I
came home and oh, on the plane, I finally watched
the Michael movie.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Oh you know what, that's you. I'm gonna do my
next fight.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Yeah, so I've been catching up on things.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
So I watched Michael on the flight, and then as
soon as I got home, I watched the Obsessed movie
that is now available on streaming service Is.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
That Lady in Oscar? Because that acting was top to you.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Oh my gosh, you got to be careful what you
wish for.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
And that's the movie that actually got made for seven
hundred and fifty thousand.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Dollars and they made like, what three or four million?

Speaker 4 (08:04):
It made two hundred and twenty four million worldwide, probably
more than that by now.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Because that was back.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
It was one of the best things I've seen this year.
The acting was top tier.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Yeah, they did it. And the plot was hilarious.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
It was imagine you're so obsessed with somebody they go
to work, Yeah, and you stand by the door and.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Wait for them to come home when they when they
tape the door, the tape it's small, my god.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
But anyway, you got to see it. It's a great movie.
It's a horror film.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
You don't even like horror film, I don't know, but
this one was really good. They had some little gross moments,
but great movie. So that's that's and I'm caught up
on from I did a lot of TV things yesterday.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Oh okay, all right.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
Well when we come back, it's time for tell us
a secret. Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty
any secret you have. We are here to listen and
not judge you. It's a no judgment zone. That's eight
hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty. Maybe like akem
you've lost some weight and now you're out on the
streets and I'm bocking. Eight hundred two ninety two fifty
one fifty.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Call us up.

Speaker 5 (08:59):
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us the secret.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
Woo Baby, its way up at the Angela. Yee, it's
me and I keen wo.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
You know you have any secrets? I would love to
hear something you've never told anyone?

Speaker 1 (09:11):
Girl a thing?

Speaker 3 (09:13):
Is there anything that you would never tell anyone?

Speaker 1 (09:15):
I mean, if it's my business, I'm gonna tell it,
but I'm not gonna tell other people's business.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
Sometimes your business involves other people, Well then maybe I
won't tell that. Okay, all right, Well you can tell
us anything. You're anonymous again and it's a no judgment zone.
Eight hundred ninety fifty anonymous collar. Tell us your secret.

Speaker 8 (09:31):
Offer two thousand and eight and one night. I will
not cheer for three guys at one time.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
At one time like a foursome.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Well it's just me and a three guy.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
What what made you do that after eighteen years?

Speaker 5 (09:48):
Because I think you cheated on me?

Speaker 8 (09:50):
You think or you know, well, I'll sell a picture
of explorin and fall and to go through the text
message and not so on. He still up a picture
of where he's been left so automatically.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Couldn't you just cheating on him with one dude? I
don't know.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
Girl, Listen, I am not wonder shame. You were talking
to a fun Yeah, okay, but let me ask you this.
Do you want him to find out?

Speaker 10 (10:35):
No?

Speaker 8 (10:35):
I don't want him to find out.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
Where did you find these three guys?

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Because you want to go there?

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Where you just out? You just outside. That's what I'm
wondering because for gay people, I know how it happened.
For straight people, how.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
Does that even three guys willing to do that all
at once?

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Exactly? That's what That's why I'm just curious. Under the
lad did you bring it up to them or did
they bring it up to you?

Speaker 10 (11:02):
Like?

Speaker 1 (11:02):
That's what I'm curious.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Are they friends with each other? Yeah, they're all were
friends and with me and Swift.

Speaker 8 (11:08):
An associated few. We were fout in New York and
here to do it with them.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Did she dared you? Yeah? Did she participate to.

Speaker 10 (11:19):
No?

Speaker 3 (11:20):
She just watch that sounds like a.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Crazy friend like that, that's a crazy dare I mean,
but I'd mean more proud to you.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
I would I would take truth.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Yeah, I take you too, did you did you all
break up?

Speaker 10 (11:34):
No?

Speaker 1 (11:35):
Girl, if you don't let this man go, that's crazy.
Please break up with this man.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
So did he? So you know for a fact he
cheated on you? Or you still just think so?

Speaker 10 (11:45):
So?

Speaker 3 (11:45):
I believe I know he did. Okay, so you're gonna
stay with him? Are you ever gonna do this again?

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Well, you're gonna stay with them.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
She felt like she got her get beat. So did
you feel better after you did?

Speaker 9 (11:59):
That?

Speaker 5 (12:02):
Was all right?

Speaker 1 (12:02):
All right girl?

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Well all right, well you and I Kim can be friends.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
We can definitely be friends, but you gotta leave him.
Come be outside, girl.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Thank you for calling. You showed him.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
But okay, bye, they're not gonna make it.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
Even though was like, not just one, they're not gonna
make it.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
She cheated, Never seen you get appalled? That was just
I don't like just be open and open a relationship.

Speaker 9 (12:23):
She like lying. I don't like lying, like, hey, I'm
out of vanta. Just be outside, all right?

Speaker 3 (12:28):
Well that would tell us a secret.

Speaker 4 (12:29):
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty. It's a
no judgment zone.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
I came listen, I judge a little bit, all right,
when we.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Come back, we have you a yea Ti?

Speaker 4 (12:37):
And why are people mad at the rock at Dwayne Johnson.
He is facing some backlash and we'll tell you what happened.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
It's way up. It's like it's out like the Angela
jan like they Angela Jean Man.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
She's spilling it all.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
This is YEATI well, it's way up at Angela ye
and Keim Woods is here?

Speaker 3 (12:57):
Oh no, why am I now?

Speaker 4 (13:01):
Tell me If the title of this article upsets you,
New York Magazine posted Caamo Brown and Jesse Smallett, two
messy gays are reportedly dating.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
One and that only bothers me ifistrate man wrote it.

Speaker 9 (13:18):
But if gay wrote that, I am not bothered in
the lightest because that girl, when I tell you that
is accurate.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
They are both and is the writer from Vulture who
wrote that?

Speaker 1 (13:30):
All right, well, and then it.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
Says happy pride on top. But anyway, yes, the two
of them are now dating. We know Carramo Brown from
having his own show, but also from Queer Eye Jesse Smalllett.
Of course, we know Jesse from Infamous Infamous Jesse. He
had also performance that went viral recently.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
I will not speak on it, but Karamo also.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
Recently did Carlos King, and here's what he said.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Do you think he's the one. I'm one hundred percent sure.

Speaker 5 (13:59):
I could get emotional. I've met my equal.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
It's powerful when you meet someone who you feel one
hundred percent safe with, you fee one hundred percent secure with,
it's pretty amazing.

Speaker 5 (14:07):
I do believe this is gonna be my husband.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
I believe this is gonna be my forever person.

Speaker 4 (14:10):
Now it's interesting because last time I saw Jesse small At,
he was up here and he had a fiance Jabari
read who they've been dating, and he started a movie
with him and everything. So I guess they broke up
for whatever reason. So yeah, all right, Tyler Perry, what.

Speaker 10 (14:28):
That mind?

Speaker 1 (14:28):
My gonla be messy? Continue? Go ahead.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
You're not gonna be a messy gaye. No three messy
gays in the news. Okay.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
Tyler Perry and Taraji p Henson have revealed details now
about Netflix is Why Did I Get Married Again?

Speaker 3 (14:43):
It's the sequel to Why did I Get Married? And
to Why Did I Get Married?

Speaker 8 (14:48):
Too?

Speaker 4 (14:49):
And so this is gonna come out September ninth, and
they show the returning cast members Tyler Perry, Lemon Rucker,
Sharon Lil Jill Scott, Richard T. Jones, Michael j My Girl,
Tasha Smith, and Taraji is gonna be joining the cast
as well, so that's exciting. It's going to be set
at a wedding in Lake Como, Italy. So yeah, okay, budget, Okay,

(15:12):
we got imagine. Of course they do, though I know
it's Tyler Perry all right.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
Now.

Speaker 4 (15:16):
Coco Jones recently was in her car and she was
being very vulnerable and honest about realizing that she doesn't
have everything figured out.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
I'm sure a lot of us can relate. Here's what
she said.

Speaker 10 (15:29):
I never came into this game knowing exactly like what
I do. Like I knew I could sing my ass off,
but like I didn't really have like a thing. I
think that is biting me in the ass right now
with this album. The reception that I'm getting out in
the world is like confusion. Obviously I get that because
in the inner world it's confusion. Actually, I'm so drained

(15:51):
of this process of like trying to figure this out.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Yeah, but shout out to Coco Jones. She's so talented.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
I just was watching the movie she was in Strung
with Chloe Bailey, so Yeah, she did a great job.
She's a great actress already, you know, wonderful singer, nice
all around person.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
It sounds like she's just having a little growing pains.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
But I can understand, like trying to figure out your sound,
sound and your thing. You know, when you probably had
so many people telling you to be one way, especially
when you come from Disney.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
I feel like there's a certain type of expectation.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Yeah, they expect you to be Disney esque.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
Well I'll tell you who didn't come from Disney, Chris Brown.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
A jury has ruled that Chris Brown has to pay
about thirteen million dollars to a woman who was attacked
by his dog while working as a housekeeper. So jury's
jurors did determine that yesterday to Maria Avila for negligence.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Yes, she was.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
Asking for a lot more. Think she was asking for
like ninety million or something like that. But this incident
was back in twenty twenty. She was taking out the
trash and was attacked out of nowhere, she says, by
his shepherd.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
Oh and it's a Caucasian shepherd.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Sorry, Dan. You know those white dogs be out there.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
They're actually notorious for their use as guard dogs at
Russian prisons. And if you see those pictures, I mean
she got a bit of d I mean chunks of
her skin was missing. All right, when we come back
under the radar, these are the stories that are not
necessarily in the headlines. They're flying under the radar, but
you need to know about them. There is this outbreak
in the United States that's been going on. They're trying

(17:31):
to find out the source of this illness. But if
you've been having on diarrhea lately, we'll give you some details.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
It's way up.

Speaker 5 (17:40):
News.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar, all.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
Right, it's way up at Angela. It's me and Akeem Wood.

Speaker 10 (17:48):
Oh no.

Speaker 4 (17:50):
Now, officials are trying to figure out the source of
this parasitic infection that has been causing sudden and severe
digestive emergencies.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
You know, explosive diarrhea is the actual emergency.

Speaker 4 (18:03):
And they're saying this explosive diarrhea has spread to over
twenty states in the United schools of all the states, well,
definitely New York, but Alaska, Colorado, Georgia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Jersey,
North Carolina. I mean there's a whole list that has
been reported, and it's called cyclosporiasis. It's a type of

(18:28):
food poisoning that's caused by a parasite and it's usually
from eating contaminated food or water. I want to say,
my stomach has been bubbling for like the past week
and a half, and I'm like, what is wrong with me?

Speaker 3 (18:40):
So maybe I have this parasite.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Oh, I luckily happen on a health journey. So my
stomach has been found.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
It could be vegetables and produced.

Speaker 9 (18:47):
It's it's don't mess up my life because they say
pizza will kill it.

Speaker 3 (18:51):
If you have pizza, it'll be fine, all right.

Speaker 4 (18:56):
There's also extreme heat, so not only do you have diarrhea,
imagine that in the extreme heat forecast, and that extreme
heat is hitting the Midwest also here in New York Chicago.
I'm gonna come over, Okay, why you don't have a c.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
I do, but it's just I don't like it. But
I'm on the top floor of my building. Heat rises.

Speaker 10 (19:14):
Ye.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
Well, Chicago has activated cooling centers throughout the city, including
at community service centers. New York City has as well,
and so what they're saying the temperature feels like with
humidity one hundred and four degrees in Chicago.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
Angel, What do you think it's worst extreme heat or
extreme diarrhe.

Speaker 4 (19:32):
I think the combination hot diarrhea is awful. One hundred
and nine in Detroit, one hundred and four in New
York City, one hundred four yes, oh no, oh no,
one hundred and seven in Philly, one hundred and eight
in DC, and one hundred and eleven in Nashville.

Speaker 6 (19:51):
Think.

Speaker 9 (19:51):
I think tender needs a new thing on tender where
it could be you could swipe from men and women
but just looking for ac like instead of trying to
look for like love.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
It should be like, yo, do you have yeah?

Speaker 3 (20:00):
Because nobody's cuddling in the heat.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
No, I just wanted someone with I a c I'll
go to a woman's house if you got to see.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
Well, thanks, that's why you try to come over to
my house.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
Exactly.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
I'll make you some lasagna.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Ooh girlm I dying.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
Well, I'll make something eat it in front of you.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
All right.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Well that is you're under the radar.

Speaker 10 (20:15):
Now.

Speaker 4 (20:16):
It is a Wealth Wednesday. So Haley Sex is going
to be joining us. You know her on social media
as missus dow Jones. But she did not start off
knowing all about finances. She has a book out called
Future Rich Person. It's the new rules for building wealth.
You're gonna enjoy this conversation. It's way up.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
Because she came over seats. It's time to.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
Spill that eat, all right, it's way up at Angela. Ye,
it's me and a queen wits.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
What's up?

Speaker 4 (20:40):
No, you know that food came you over here running around.
But let's get into this yet. So Bone Thugs and
Harmony are going to be getting their star on the
Hollywood Walk of Theme. Congratulations to them. Big Boy is
gonna EMPC the event alongside exhibit and that is going
to be last in July eighth at eleven thirty.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
So I'm today at eleven thirty.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
Am okay, meeting out the crossroads.

Speaker 10 (21:04):
I know you know.

Speaker 4 (21:04):
It's the first of the month, and that's the Bone
Thugs in Harmony song shout out to Cleveland.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
But that's good. They definitely definitely deserve it.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
They're also on tour with Wu Tang for the final
Chamber of tour in August, and they're doing their own
tour as well this month.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
So yeay, tickets, y'all.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
Oh And then, speaking of Ohio, let's talk about Lebron
for a second. Recently, Rich Paul revealed what went down
in the conversation with Lebron announcing that.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
He was leaving the Lakers. Here's what he had to say.

Speaker 7 (21:34):
Took it there or so, and he called me back
and said, okay, I just want to have complete happiness. Okay.
So if it's about happiness, then it can't be about money.
I said, well, where are you at in terms of
returning right here?

Speaker 5 (21:45):
Where are we at? And he said eighty percent.

Speaker 7 (21:49):
As the time went on, he thought about things more,
it kind of went down. Once he got to a
place to where he said, listen, man, you know it's
probably not the best thing for me to do. I
probably would just go away from that. And I said,
are you one hundred percent sure? And he said yes, Okay,
Well there you have.

Speaker 3 (22:07):
It comes out.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
He's gone.

Speaker 4 (22:10):
And Jalen Brnton, since we're talking basketball, has joined Just
Salad as a partner and equity owner that is one
of America's fastest growing, healthy fast casual brands. They've also
been engaged in a potential partnership since early twenty twenty five.
He's a big fan of that brand, and he was
looking for our local New York City based brand who

(22:31):
we wanted to partner in the long term with that
also aligned with his values, and he enjoys Just Salad.
Their mission is to make everyday health and sustainability possible.
So I like it, and it's good for them, by
the way, it's great for them, And I'm Jayleen Brnton.
I'm sure right now could get a deal with any place.
And we eat at Just Salad, but there's a lot

(22:52):
of competition.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
Oh you're the one downstairs.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
Downstairs is chopped.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
Oh girl, I'm gonna line you know.

Speaker 3 (22:57):
Yeah, you just made that up.

Speaker 4 (22:58):
But there isn't Just Salad by where we record my podcast,
And so when I'm down there, I go to Just Salad.
But you know, I feel like this is going to
influence people to make that decision to go there. All
right now, according to sources, things are all good between
Cardi B and Lotto. You know, they're both booked to
host the same Essence Festival. After party they had beef.

(23:19):
Well remember a Keim. I'm gonna break this down for you.
A phone call had leaked with Cardi B. Talking about
Lotto like I'm not Lotto. When she was beefing about
Ice Spice talking to Ice Spice's manager, she said it
worse than I just said it. And then Lotto responded
on her album, you know, on a song where she

(23:42):
had a.

Speaker 3 (23:42):
Little something to say.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
It wasn't crazy, it was a little small dig I
guess something she wanted to get off her chest. Even
though Cardi B did publicly apologize. But now there's no
tension allegedly between the two of them, So that's good
to hear.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
That's awesome.

Speaker 4 (23:57):
All right, Well that is your yet when we come back,
have asked ye eight hundred two ninety two fifty one
fifty is.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
A number any question that you have me and I
kim my hair to help you out.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
It's way up with it's relationship with Korean advice. Angela's
dropping facts. Should this is Askee brought to you.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
By Top Dog Law.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
What's up? Its way up at Angela? Ye, it's me
and ikem Woods.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (24:20):
I kim what did you do?

Speaker 4 (24:21):
And it's time for asking Ye don't give you a
taxic advice up here. I know you will, But we
have somebody who wants to be anonymous today, and her
dilemma is she bought a house, but she doesn't know
how to tell her boyfriend.

Speaker 8 (24:32):
Soh left here.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
I bought a house, okay, and I'm so.

Speaker 8 (24:37):
Proud of that.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
You cold that you should be proud.

Speaker 5 (24:40):
Yeah, but the thing you're told my boyfriend we have
been forgether like nine years.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
I've been breaking my opinion about wanting her own a home,
and you know, we just haven't been really working towards
that as a teen.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
Oh, are you living in a house?

Speaker 6 (24:57):
I'm not actually being renovated.

Speaker 10 (25:00):
Okay, I'm definitely gonna move in probably the end of
the year.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
You bought a house. It's not like we bought a house.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
That's your boyfriend, not your husband, Okay, right, And he
hasn't been making the steps that you've been making towards
doing this.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
It seem like a little bit of a hater or something.

Speaker 8 (25:17):
Yeah, he's being sometimes.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Do you all live together?

Speaker 7 (25:20):
But no, we don't.

Speaker 5 (25:22):
He guys on the apartment.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
I have my own apartment.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
Well, listen, I want to say, your money is your money.
I do find it, though, very.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
Telling, that you did not tell him, and you feel
like he's a little bit of a hater and that
he doesn't have the same drive that you have. And
so it makes me question how much longer your relationship
can last if you guys aren't aligned in that way.
To partnership is we did this together, whether he didn't
have the money to do it, but he was supportive
in other ways or cheering you on, or you know,

(25:51):
helping do certain things. But you don't even feel like
you wanted to tell him, and it feels like you're
a little nervous to tell him.

Speaker 10 (25:57):
I am a little bit.

Speaker 4 (25:59):
And this is a selling ration. This is something that
you should feel so good about. Imagine you gotta hide
good news that's never it's.

Speaker 9 (26:07):
Not a good sign that y'all have been together for
nine years and y'all still have separate apartments.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
Go if you don't let this man go, and do
you want him to move in there with you?

Speaker 10 (26:14):
I think that's why I'm stuck at because I don't
know if I even want him to live because I
have two apartments in the buildings, so.

Speaker 3 (26:22):
He can rint up there. Do you believe that he's
really gonna pay you?

Speaker 2 (26:27):
I'm going to let him know, like it's a new building.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
And I think you.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
Should move there, So you're not gonna be honesty. That's
gonna be a problem if he finds out.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
You know, I give toxic. Everybody sneaky.

Speaker 9 (26:37):
You buy this house and you have him think he's renting,
and then all the time he's mortgage.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
I told you I'm toxic.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
But you could also have someone for real rented. You
could do that sometimes.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
Listen that part he is.

Speaker 4 (26:55):
If things go left, you're harded it to get somebody
to move out. When things go left, especially when it's
somebody you care about and they mad at you and
they squatting in your house and now we hate each other,
you got to think like chess, you know, you go,
if I do this and then he find out this,
and then he's doing this, then here's what could happen
that could go wrong. And when somebody start getting mailed somewhere,

(27:16):
it's her to get them out.

Speaker 10 (27:17):
Good Okay, Yeah that's true.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
Yeah, but I'm just saying you got to evaluate your
relationship and why am I not wanting to tell my
man my good news?

Speaker 3 (27:29):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (27:30):
And it's really killing me in an empire.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
Maybe what you need to do is explain to him, Look,
I made this decision and for some reason, I was
really scared to talk to you about it.

Speaker 7 (27:39):
Yeah, because I just felt like it would have prolonged
the process.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
Yeah, let him know that and be like, and I
just want us to have a discussion about what our
issues are with each other and why I felt like
I didn't want to share this news with you until
I was comfortable with it.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
So let's talk.

Speaker 8 (27:56):
Okay, let's talk.

Speaker 9 (27:58):
Thank you, Angela?

Speaker 4 (27:59):
All right with I was asked yee eight hundred and
two ninety two fifty one fifty Just in case you
couldn't get through, And remember asking Yee is brought to
you by tap Dog Law. Call them for any accident,
big or small, go to topdog Law dot com. And
when we come back, Haley Sacks is going to be
joining us for Wealth Wednesday. She has a book out
called Future Rich Person The New Rules for Building Wealth.

(28:19):
You know her as missus dow Jones on social media.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
It's way up and I don't mind sharing my wealth
Dog getting you straight financially, mentally, and physically.

Speaker 5 (28:28):
This is Wealth Wednesday on Way Up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
What's up as way up at Angela Yee? It's me
and Stacey Tisday on a wealth Wednesday. I'm so excited for.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
This one, and we have Missus dow Jones. Well, hold on,
we got to say New York Times bestselling author Missus
dow Jones for you. Some of you might know her
as Haley Sacks.

Speaker 11 (28:48):
She's a founder of Finances School, which is a financial
education company focused on making wealth building accessible.

Speaker 3 (28:55):
But there's so much more to this woman.

Speaker 11 (28:57):
Her book Future Rich Person, hit the New York Times
best Seller look list recently.

Speaker 4 (29:02):
I'm so excited because I've been following you for so
long and I get a lot a great information.

Speaker 3 (29:07):
But welcome to the show. It's so good to have
you here. I'm so excited to be here. I'm such
a fan. You do go by Missus dow Jones.

Speaker 4 (29:14):
And Stacy was one of the first women and the
first black person to report from the floor of the
New York Stock Exchange.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
So what does Missus dow Jones mean to you today?

Speaker 6 (29:23):
For women like we couldn't got our own credit cards
in nineteen seventy four, we couldn't got our own business
loans till the eighties, Like I really look at us
as you know, basically like the first generations of women
who really have the opportunity to choose and like to
use money to like create the lives.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
That we want.

Speaker 6 (29:39):
And so missus dow Jones to me like fun, flirty,
cool name, but also means like, Okay, I'm married to
my own financial freedom. I don't have to do anything
I don't want to do.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
Girls, and either do you and one thing you do.

Speaker 11 (29:52):
Talk about Generation Z, they also have this kind of
dichotomy going on about feeling financially helpless.

Speaker 6 (29:58):
Yeah, I call it in the book earned financial helplessness.
Since two thousand, we just have increased seven percent. The
cost of living has increased sixty seven percent. If you're
in Gen Z, you have huge student debt, you feel
like you're never gonna be able to buy a house.
AI is taking all the jobs. Like you feel like
the world is closing in on you and there's no opportunity.

(30:19):
And so as a reaction, you decide to look rich
instead of be rich. You're going to just like spend
money that you don't have to live a life that
you haven't earned because you feel like that life is
so out of reach anyways, and I think it's really
important if you have that mindset to take a step
back and know that there is actually still so much

(30:40):
opportunity to grow wealth. It just might be a different
path and a different American dream than your parents told
you about.

Speaker 4 (30:46):
Right right now, I'm talking to missus Dowd Zones aka
hey Aleisax So book future a rich person is out
right now?

Speaker 3 (30:53):
I mean you have this abiza abit viza abita.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
Yes, so break down abitha and what that means for
people as far as I'd identify blame tell us about that,
just because I think that's a great method for people
to understand their financial situation.

Speaker 6 (31:08):
You can give anyone financial advice, but they're never gonna
take it if they don't first work on their identity
and they first don't like heal their money mindset. And yeah,
because my belief is where all your action comes from.
So the first step is to identify. So, like, what
are the things that are holding you back financially?

Speaker 10 (31:27):
Is it?

Speaker 6 (31:28):
Oh, I'm bad with money?

Speaker 3 (31:29):
So the next letter is B so blame.

Speaker 6 (31:31):
So that's also you can blame, like because these factors
are not just from inside of you, like they're you
didn't just fall out of a coconut tree, right, you know,
It's like they're coming from otherther places. And then the
third I is ignore, you know, and so you have
to actually take a step back and choose something different.
And then Z is jush, So you're going to replace

(31:53):
that belief with something else. You know, maybe it's like
I can do this, but I was never taught, or
you know, like there's still so much opportunity for me.
Whatever it is you have to do to empower yourself,
do it. And then the Lost Letter A is Act,
which is the rest of the book, which are those
really practical steps, But first you have to really work

(32:13):
on your identity.

Speaker 3 (32:14):
All right.

Speaker 4 (32:15):
Haley Sex is here, missus dow Jones. That's how you
know her giving all that great financial advice on social media.
She's got a book Future Rich Person that's out right now.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
We have more when we come back. It's way up you.

Speaker 9 (32:27):
Kind a dream of wealthy and I don't mind sharing
my wealth.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Dog getting you straight financially, mentally and physically. This is
Wealth Wednesday on way Up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
What's up? Its way up at Angela Yee.

Speaker 4 (32:38):
It's a Wealth Wednesday. And right now we are talking
to Hailey Sex. You know her as missus dow Jones.
Her book, future rich person is out right now you've
said this in the book. So that you cannot save
your way to rich.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
No, like you have to invest.

Speaker 6 (32:50):
You have to make your money work for you. A
savings account, maybe you're going to earn point zero four
percent interest. Hi, you'ld savings account, you're gonna get four
percent in. But if you put your money in the market,
it's compounding and you're going to get eight to ten
percent interest. That changes your whole financial life. So it's
important to also make sure that you have enough money
to put towards it. But you know that's really the

(33:12):
secret sauce.

Speaker 11 (33:13):
You have forty nine percent of Americans living paycheck to paycheck.
That's up twenty nine percent in twelve months. There's no margin,
there's nothing left over after paycheck. And this is I
think so so many people's reality now in this economy
and this affordability issue.

Speaker 3 (33:27):
What do you tell a person like that, You can't
ignore that. A lot of it does come down to
identity though.

Speaker 6 (33:33):
Where it's like even if you can make the shift
to like putting like five dollars away, that will start
to change your mindset into being someone who is more
in control of their finances and who then maybe is
going to take control in other ways. But I think
it goes back to again trying to earn more, like
so many people get lost in like the sub cost
fallacy of their jobs, like, oh, I've been here for

(33:55):
a long time. Yeah, they can't give me a raise now,
but like in a few years, you don't own the company,
you don't owe them anything. And it's like even with
the AI stuff, it's like the people who are going
to benefit from AI are the ones.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Who know how to use it.

Speaker 6 (34:08):
Right, So trying to understand what do you who do
you have to become to be a future rich person?
This is every day building towards this.

Speaker 4 (34:17):
Right now, I'm talking to missus dowd Zones aka Haley
sax So book Future Rich Person is out right now.

Speaker 11 (34:23):
You know, when you're in the state of financial stress,
your IQ actually goes down by thirteen points. And when
you do when you read Haley's book, when you listen
to Angela, when you do just one thing different to
alleviate that, your behavior changes so you see more options.
And I love your concept of action money.

Speaker 6 (34:41):
So action money is basically the money left over after
you deduct your expenses from your income. You might start
and have negative action money because you're in debt. But
what I've noticed is that a lot of people before
you take your you have your aha money moment and
you take this future rich person journey, you sort of
are managing your money based on vibes and you're not
really like in control of them. And so you might

(35:02):
see that like five tens whatever one hundred dollars left over,
the left over at the under.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
The mund you didn't see it before.

Speaker 6 (35:08):
That's actually your most powerful wealth building tool. And there
was a study from Goldmen Socks that people who make
three hundred to four hundred thousand dollars are more likely
to be living paycheck to paycheck than people who make
under a hundred k. And so you know, it doesn't
even matter really how much you're making you can spend
all your money. If you don't have that auction money, you.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
Will never become a future person.

Speaker 4 (35:29):
And you know, one thing I also learned was even
when I didn't have any extra money and I was
living paycheck to paycheck, I still did start investing in
a rough ira. At that time, it wasn't much, but
it was also like something I didn't really notice coming
out of my check like that every single month, And
so sometimes I think people feel like you have to
have everything paid off to invest, but you actually can

(35:49):
invest at the same time as you're paying things off,
and it is a really powerful feeling.

Speaker 11 (35:55):
The best part about Haley and Lots of things is
her book is called Future Richer. It's not Here's how
you Get rich or anything about finances. She knows up money.
It's about identity. And we are so happy since you
were here and with you promise you'll come back.

Speaker 6 (36:12):
Literally whenever you want. I'm like, so honored to be here.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
Have you not been one of you on here for
so I know? Glad, but this is a perfect timing.

Speaker 4 (36:19):

Empire State Building stuff right now.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
Do we have a picture of them?

Speaker 3 (37:27):
Yeah, there's video pictures.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
Everything of them climbing and scaling the Empire State Building.
It's a couple he proposed while he was up there.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
Yeah, how did it get up there?

Speaker 3 (37:39):
They scaled it.

Speaker 4 (37:42):
I don't know what's going on, but yes, we're keeping
our eye on this situation.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
You guys should do is really quite weird.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
Are they still up there?

Speaker 4 (37:51):
They go off there, they're trying to get down, So
I think they're being helped down right now.

Speaker 1 (37:56):
I hope they're going to the jail. You hope so, girl, Yes, just.

Speaker 3 (37:59):
Cuz I think that's crazy. I would. But they have
been arrested already. Okay, so there you go.

Speaker 4 (38:04):
They had a banner that they hung and they got
arrested after hanging that banner.

Speaker 9 (38:09):
About the power of Hey, you know what the crazy
thing is their marriage is not gonna last.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
It's not.

Speaker 4 (38:16):
They started climbing down about an hour ago. They kissed,
they hugged, they took selfies, and they were taking into
custody around one pm. All right, well again, as you know,
this is your show, so.

Speaker 8 (38:28):
You have the last word, Hige. This is to call
to Florida. I was just calling because I was wondering,
why is it that men always wanted the commitment without
giving up their lane and without.

Speaker 10 (38:44):
Being a proper leader.

Speaker 8 (38:45):
I was just wondering if you could ask that question.

Speaker 10 (38:47):
To the world and maybe somebody could respond.

Speaker 8 (38:49):
In with some frank you sugar. Hey, this is Francis
Richmond from Ohio to lead Ohio.

Speaker 1 (38:55):
To be exact, I.

Speaker 8 (38:56):
Want to give my mom the Fana hears a shout
out shine in the light because she's the strongest person
I know. We didn't been through hell and back and
she still remains strong.

Speaker 10 (39:06):
Mama, I love you.

Speaker 5 (39:07):
