had their inaugural Beauty Vanguard Awards dinner in New York
celebrating Tracy Ellis Ross and Tina Knowles. They also had
an in real life shopping experience called Beauty on the
Block they did on Harlem and they have one coming
up in Chicago. But basically, people that she financed the
Black Beauty Club herself with personal savings and sponsorships from Nars,

Moet Hennessy and Sophora, and she wanted to be a
platform that felt available to people who could afford that
only felt she didn't want it. She did not want
it to be a platform that was only available to
people who could afford it buy their way in.

years later, to know that women like this are doing
this and self financing, it blows my mind because it

up start. It was from seven to ten. I got

there around nine o'clock. Went inside. They had Lucali's Pizza
in the back and Cloudy Donuts, my favorite donuts. You
know what, fun fact, the owners of Cloudy Donuts told
me that was the first person to try their donuts
at an event in Brooklyn.

Oh wow, Okay, that's crazy history.

But their donuts are amazing. I gotta you know what,
I'm about to order some and.

Like I don't know, listen, the show is an undeniable hit,
that's one thing, and it has me like I'm watching it,

it feels like it's a little too sexual a season.
