get to your thoughts because the whole premise of the movie,
and this is a comedy, I would say, right it's

Their characters are Emma and Charlie, and they're planning to
get married. It's a week before the wedding and they
come up with this idea. Not to give away too much,

different type of mindset because who really thinks about actually
not just thinks about it, but actually starts planning it.

they announced his yacht was actually closer to the skiff,
but did nothing to help. People on the cruise ship
then started booing Mark Zuckerberg and felt the billionaires should

someone in need well a reper. Mark Zuckerberg has responded

I have my hospital about my pharmacy, and then I

I don't want you to be spreading yourself too thin.
Sometimes we try to do too many things at once,
and then instead of having one thing that's doing great,
we have a couple of things that are doing mediocre
or one thing that's really just not working. And I
think you really need to find that person or a

couple of people that are going to be like your
right hand.

And I want to encourage you to do that.

And it may not necessarily be a friend or family
member too, by the way, because sometimes that can end
up going left. And look, maybe you can find somebody
that will work on a percentage basis, you know, as
you're getting the business off the ground. But I think
it's important when you think about business and having people
that are working with you that you have an actual
contract because you also have to protect yourself because one
(27:53):
thing about business is people will try to sue you.
They'll do things you never would have imagined could happen,
could end up happening. So just make sure that you
have all of that in order, as far as having
like an employee handbook, all of those things is. Even
if you're using family and friends to do the work,
you have to make sure that you protect yourself and
your business. I would hate to see something go left
and you lose all of that because of it. So

I want to encourage you to just set up your
business the foundation of it, the right way from the jump,
and keep people out your pockets. They don't need to know,
you know, friends and family, they don't need to know
if you when you're.

Just kind of learn how to keep that to yourself
because once people seeing what you make and they think
they should be getting what you get.

Yes, I've always been like behind the scenes. But being
that I've seen my brother's success, I have faith now
in my dreams.

Now, what happens when your brother's friends try to holler
at you?
Speaker 11 (30:16):
They don't. They gotta respect. So my my brother's real
friends don't.

Do this, okay, but the other ones may.

Yeah. I mean I've never I've never been through that situation,
but you know, I know my brother real friends and
his real friends never never.

How is dating for you though, because you have a
bunch of people who are very protective over you around.

Oh, dating for me, I don't really daze only because
I don't know people intentions when it comes to men
in my lifestyle, and like my brother like he makes sure,
like you know, I'm all taken care of. I don't
need to be asking anybody for anything. So it's like
I have standards for myself right now.

Tell me about what that experience was like for you guys,
just behind the scenes.
Speaker 11 (31:19):
Besides the van and Kello, I kind of had a
good lead way of getting then why Because I didn't
make it to the first one. Last year, I was
booked in Canada, so I had a reason, like I'm
a new person. He wanted all new faces, so I
was additional new face. My two brothers they went last year.
But Kyle was like, you have to give me a
good reason, you know. And then they gave the good reason,
which is my mom.

So you know all the reason.
Speaker 11 (31:40):
But I will also say for Streamer University, I wanted
to be a professor and a lot of people was like, oh,
she's too aggressive and she's taking it too serious.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
I have to because if I don't take it serious,
who will serious? Why? What did you take it seriously.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
This is my career that people were having was not
taking it seriously.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
Exactly where did you learn how to cook? So seven years.
Speaker 11 (32:00):
It's a cultural thing, you know, Caribbeans they put our
I'm only girl. I have three brothers. So my mom
when she's a single mom, I had to cook clean
and that was my therapy since young. Cooking and baking.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
At least you like it because I want to be
a chef and baker. I don't want to I want
to be both.
Speaker 8 (32:15):
You know.
Speaker 11 (32:15):
I also plan on going back to school. I still
want to learn the fundamentals of cooking. I want to
get license. I want everything to be officiable.

I know that's great because you also have to learn
the other things, like behind the scenes, your food handless
is very important. See if Victoria Monet went to culinary school.
Speaker 11 (32:32):
So like when it's also and then I'm ready to
put out my caterings or eventually coming with a restaurant.

It's a stereotype. I know, I know. Scientifically, you don't
have to do it.

It's a myth all right, scientifically, But when it comes
in the surroundings of the meat, when it comes to
preparation of like cutting boards, you don't know how clean
those are, so you're put food on it.
Speaker 5 (33:39):
I mean for when you gotta clean your cutting boards.
But also you dry the meat, whether it's chicken, beef,
whatever it is, you dry it before you bring it
to the cutting board, if you know what you're doing,
because if it's not dry, I'm not going to get
a good seer. You should be using a wood cutting board.

Yeah, classics, Yeah, I love, that's all.

And if you actually wash the chicken, and then what's
happening is all the germs in the bacteria when it
hits the water, it's spinning all over. You're saying, So really,
all you're doing is spreading. But you're just spreading bacteria.
So you take the dirty chicken to the cutting board
and then you prep it and then you cook it.

eat chicken. You eat red meat. So everything, okay, this

get married. It's a week before the wedding and they
come up with this idea. Not to give away too much,

she needs some help and how she can make sure
that she can spread herself between her job plus her
other business.

How do you move forward with trying to build more
equity in that first business while trying to have a
second business. How do you properly balance boat?
Speaker 1 (26:03):
What's your first business?
Speaker 9 (26:05):
My first visiting logistic, so I have my own courier.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
Okay, I remember you.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
You know, sometimes with business you gotta also get to
a point where you can have other people help and
get hired and make some money, but also free you
up to do something else, because I don't really think
it's a good idea to move on and do something
else when you're not comfortable with the first business.
Speaker 9 (26:25):
I do general fights, I delivered to like hospital where
I have my hospital about my pharmacy, and then I
do flow delivery.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
Okay, I want to do.
Speaker 9 (26:33):
Something like more hands only. In Pavanda, there's a lot
of like apartment homes and rental homes and all these
other places being built, but they don't really have nobody
to clean them. Okay, if I trye two hundred dollars
each apartment, I'm free.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
Are you going to hire other people to help with that? Though?
Speaker 9 (26:49):
I would start family oriented, I got ten youth, the nephews,
and I would move forward, but I would like to
like stick within my community, maybe like for is that
I went to school with. I have plenty a lot
a friend that is trying to get into things like that,
but they kind of like looking for me to like
hit started type thing.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Okay, So I want to say a couple of things here.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
One, is there somebody that you can look at as
someone that is an assistant or manager type person, because
I don't want you to be spreading yourself too thin.
Sometimes we try to do too many things at once,
and then instead of having one thing that's doing great,
we have a couple of things that are doing mediocre
or one thing that's really just not working. And I
think you really need to find that person or a
(27:28):
couple of people that are going to be like your
right hand.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
And I want to encourage you to do that.
Speaker 3 (27:32):
And it may not necessarily be a friend or family
member too, by the way, because sometimes that can end
up going left. And look, maybe you can find somebody
that will work on a percentage basis, you know, as
you're getting the business off the ground. But I think
it's important when you think about business and having people
that are working with you that you have an actual
contract because you also have to protect yourself because one
(27:53):
thing about business is people will try to sue you.
They'll do things you never would have imagined could happen,
could end up happening. So just make sure that you
have all of that in order, as far as having
like an employee handbook, all of those things is. Even
if you're using family and friends to do the work,
you have to make sure that you protect yourself and
your business. I would hate to see something go left
and you lose all of that because of it. So
(28:16):
I want to encourage you to just set up your
business the foundation of it, the right way from the jump,
and keep people out your pockets. They don't need to know,
you know, friends and family, they don't need to know
if you when you're.

Getting big checks and all of that.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
Just kind of learn how to keep that to yourself
because once people seeing what you make and they think
they should be getting what you get.

I mean, we grew up, but he knows that he
has to know exactly who you are. Your voice is unique.

I don't ever want to do it because I don't

you know, so it was just always like to stop

Well, I'm glad that you came up here because I
know so before all of this you've been more of
a wanting to be behind the scenes kind of person.
Speaker 11 (30:05):
Yes, I've always been like behind the scenes. But being
that I've seen my brother's success, I have faith now
in my dreams.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
Now, what happens when your brother's friends try to holler
at you?
Speaker 11 (30:16):
They don't. They gotta respect. So my my brother's real
friends don't.
Speaker 1 (30:19):
Do this, okay, but the other ones may.
Speaker 11 (30:21):
Yeah. I mean I've never I've never been through that situation,
but you know, I know my brother real friends and
his real friends never never.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
How is dating for you though, because you have a
bunch of people who are very protective over you around.
Speaker 11 (30:32):
Oh, dating for me, I don't really daze only because
I don't know people intentions when it comes to men
in my lifestyle, and like my brother like he makes sure,
like you know, I'm all taken care of. I don't
need to be asking anybody for anything. So it's like
I have standards for myself right now.
Speaker 3 (30:52):

first and then you did Streamer University. What made you decide?

Because the family y'all rolled up and said, look, we
need to be in here.

Tell me about what that experience was like for you guys,
just behind the scenes.
Speaker 11 (31:19):
Besides the van and Kello, I kind of had a
good lead way of getting then why Because I didn't
make it to the first one. Last year, I was
booked in Canada, so I had a reason, like I'm
a new person. He wanted all new faces, so I
was additional new face. My two brothers they went last year.
But Kyle was like, you have to give me a
good reason, you know. And then they gave the good reason,
which is my mom.
Speaker 1 (31:39):
So you know all the reason.
Speaker 11 (31:40):
But I will also say for Streamer University, I wanted
to be a professor and a lot of people was like, oh,
she's too aggressive and she's taking it too serious.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
I have to because if I don't take it serious,
who will serious? Why? What did you take it seriously.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
This is my career that people were having was not
taking it seriously.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
Exactly where did you learn how to cook? So seven years.
Speaker 11 (32:00):
It's a cultural thing, you know, Caribbeans they put our
I'm only girl. I have three brothers. So my mom
when she's a single mom, I had to cook clean
and that was my therapy since young. Cooking and baking.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
At least you like it because I want to be
a chef and baker. I don't want to I want
to be both.
Speaker 8 (32:15):
You know.
Speaker 11 (32:15):
I also plan on going back to school. I still
want to learn the fundamentals of cooking. I want to
get license. I want everything to be officiable.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
I like that.
Speaker 3 (32:22):
I know that's great because you also have to learn
the other things, like behind the scenes, your food handless
is very important. See if Victoria Monet went to culinary school.
Speaker 11 (32:32):
So like when it's also and then I'm ready to
put out my caterings or eventually coming with a restaurant.
In the next seven to ten years.

your chicken?

Heck? Yeah, you have to weigh hold on, that's an
argument way. I don't care if you seen the butcher.
Speaker 11 (33:19):
I don't care if you see the butcher washing your yas.
Speaker 4 (33:23):
It's a stereotype. I know, I know. Scientifically, you don't
have to do it.
Speaker 11 (33:28):
It's a myth all right, scientifically, But when it comes
in the surroundings of the meat, when it comes to
preparation of like cutting boards, you don't know how clean
those are, so you're put food on it.
Speaker 5 (33:39):
I mean for when you gotta clean your cutting boards.
But also you dry the meat, whether it's chicken, beef,
whatever it is, you dry it before you bring it
to the cutting board, if you know what you're doing,
because if it's not dry, I'm not going to get
a good seer. You should be using a wood cutting board.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
Yeah, classics, Yeah, I love, that's all.
Speaker 5 (33:53):
And if you actually wash the chicken, and then what's
happening is all the germs in the bacteria when it
hits the water, it's spinning all over. You're saying, So really,
all you're doing is spreading. But you're just spreading bacteria.
So you take the dirty chicken to the cutting board
and then you prep it and then you cook it.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
Were not eating that dance house. No, do you only
eat chicken. You eat red meat. So everything, okay, this
one doesn't right now?
Speaker 3 (34:19):
Kaya, so that is here with us. Her platform is

I understand what you're saying, because it is true you
don't necessarily have to cleaning meat. But I don't trust
anybody so I still have to be that everything and I'm.

Getting your whole back to Yeah, but that's also where
you get it, is you know exactly where you get it?
Then do you put vinegar in your water when you
wash out your produce? Sorry? No vinegar? Baking soda?
Speaker 11 (35:14):
Yeah, certain baked for certain produces. I've always rent with
water or baking soda, like you.
Speaker 4 (35:20):
Soak it in baking soda.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
Yeah, okay, Well do you have.
Speaker 4 (35:24):
It, because then if you're doing it for the chicken
and the meats and like you have to do produce.
Speaker 11 (35:28):
Of course, where we're like, let us and strawberries literally
have bugs with it. Yes, everybody your name, let us
open it up. You're gonna see bugs as we eat.
Speaker 1 (35:41):
But I don't want to talk about this no more.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
Okay, So you have this whole plan and I love it,
and I'm gonna be watching you and seeing how this
is all gonna go. I'm happy to see you really
stepping out there and finally saying like, Okay, I'm ready
to go on my journey and do these interviews.

And I hope I could want interviews. But like I said, again,
like you we know the influence you whole but as
a little girl, like I would have never thought I'm
