And today is my father's birthday, January second, so of
course I want to shine a light on him. We
had a really tough time these past couple of weeks,
you know, just really dealing with a lot of stuff
from my brother suddenly dying from a brain aneurism, and
you know, I just want to thank him for being
in good.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Spirits as much as he could.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
I've never seen, obviously my father so upset and just
so not himself. But I appreciate the fact that he
really brought the family together during this time, even though
it was at my house. But I do want to
shine a light on my dad. It's just been a lot.
But you know, even through anything we've been through as kids,

(01:34):
he's always been there for us and just him making
sure that everything was taken care of. This is my
first time having to go gravesite, shopping and doing all
of those things, but he was there every single step
of the way. And one thing he kept saying was
don't worry about it. I got it.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Like whatever we need to.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Do financially, he's I'm obviously trying to hold it down
too for him, but you know, he just has been
super generous and making sure that nobody has anything to
worry about.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
So just appreciate that. Let me shine a light on
my dad today.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Now, who do you want to shine a light on
eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty Romeo, who
would you like to shine a light on?

Speaker 4 (02:11):
I all want to.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
Shine a light on my family, Beyonce, just because my
baby and my daughter Juliet and my female folks. D
I want to shine a light on all of Inglewood,
New Jersey. Follow me a quick conflict on all platforms.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
It's c A L M P L E A clake
all calm plex. Okay, how was this your youngest again?

Speaker 6 (02:32):
Three months old?

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Okay, there you go. Congratulations.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Yeah, I'm gonna least some on your face so you
know it's me all right?

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Thank you much.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
You can shout us out absolutely, Thank you for calling.
That was shining light eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty. If you couldn't get through, you could leave
a message and shine a light the last.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Word when we come back.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Kiki Palmer is going to be joining us today alongside
Taylor Parks. The album is called Just Kiki, and I
could tell she had a great time making it. It's
way up.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
This is a judgment free zone.

Speaker 6 (03:02):
Tell us the secret.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
What's eppisode up? At Angela Gue? I'm here, my guy
mana is here.

Speaker 6 (03:07):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
I got a secret. Listen, you got a secret.

Speaker 6 (03:11):
I got plenty.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Okay, you groundhogging today, not playing. You gotta go, Harry,
call us up. Eight hundred and two nine two fifty
one fifty. You get to remain anonymous. It's no judgment, Hey,
anonymous color what's your secret?

Speaker 6 (03:24):
Hey?

Speaker 4 (03:24):
I lost my opportunity in the third and something that
I never forget. You'll never forgive.

Speaker 6 (03:29):
You know.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
I took a lot of prayer and repeats about it,
but you know I talked about it and I happened
like about fourteen to fifteen years ago.

Speaker 6 (03:34):
Fifteen years ago.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
We're in the church like an appew or a confessional.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
Nah nahs, in the arm in the Sunday school room, on.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
The table in the Sunday school rooms. Right with that, Bro,
did anybody yellow?

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Oh God, oh God, Oh no.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
It was nothing but a whole lot of praise the Lord.

Speaker 7 (03:53):
Praise the Lord.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
Yeah, Lord, you know you got to keep it simple
and hold.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Of simple, won't you do it? God is good?

Speaker 6 (04:03):
God Christ.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Who was she to you though? Was it like a girlfriend?

Speaker 8 (04:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (04:08):
She was like my girlfriend. Know what I'm saying. I
woke up one morning and she was she picked me?
She was like mango rubber the church and I was like,
for what? And then you know what she told me?

Speaker 6 (04:17):
Okay, that's what it was.

Speaker 7 (04:18):
Was she in the choir?

Speaker 4 (04:21):
I mean no, she wasn't even a choir.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
She you probably listened, But yeah, Bay, I still think
about you in that day.

Speaker 6 (04:30):
I'm always I like that.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Thank you for colling?

Speaker 9 (04:34):
All right?

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Hand out him? How are you good? You want to
tell me? And man it a secret? You know, he
don't judge. I went on vacation with my acting. I
told my new girl I was with my family. Did
she post anything?

Speaker 7 (04:48):
Nah?

Speaker 5 (04:48):
Make sure nothing.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Does she have a girlfriend? I mean a boyfriend too,
like somebody else?

Speaker 7 (04:54):
Hope she don't.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
So you still like your acts?

Speaker 4 (04:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (04:58):
You in love with her?

Speaker 1 (05:00):
About so why would you all together?

Speaker 7 (05:04):
Long story about that?

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Oh you cheated?

Speaker 9 (05:08):
I don't want to talk about it.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Oh you had a baby by somebody else? Okay, all right, well,
thank you for sharing.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
That was tell us a secret.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Thank you guys for calling and trusting us with your deepest,
darkest secrets. It's a no judgment zone and you can
always call us up. Eight hundred and two ninety two
fifty one fifty. We are always open for those secrets
when we come back. Kiki Palmer is going to be
joining us, and she definitely got some secrets to tell us.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
It's way up.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
It's cool.

Speaker 8 (05:35):
You are a media maven, right, you never know what
AND's gonna say.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
What's up? It is way for Angela yee.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Exciting because Kiki Palmer is here, Taylor Parks is here.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Thank you guys for both joining me.

Speaker 10 (05:46):
Oh my gosh. Yes, it's good to see you. Last
time I seen you.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
We're one of them days, Yes, one of them days,
premiere you and Sizza. Yeah, by the way, I had
a chance to talk to both of you there, and
you know, I thought that movie was phenomenal.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Thank you. Exciting.

Speaker 10 (06:00):
It was good to have you.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Oh no, I appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
And you guys working together as friends on this new album,
this new project, and I feel like just the energy
that you have together, it was definitely like a diary.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Yeah, it's definitely like a diary.

Speaker 8 (06:15):
She's the only person that I would ever want to
talk to any of these things about.

Speaker 9 (06:18):
And it was a nice relief for me because I
was like, Wow, it's not often that I work with
somebody as a sign that I know so so well. It's
usually like okay, I gotta get a little bit of
info from you to try to do something real, but
this one was not a nice relief.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
It's just kiky. So this is three 's So the
beginning is kind of the you know in.

Speaker 8 (06:39):
Love, Yeah, I remember we were talking about that. Starting
it out with offscript. It kind of starts with that
nostalgic record scratch of know how did I get here?

Speaker 10 (06:48):
It transports you into the beginning. It's like one five.

Speaker 8 (06:52):
That's the beginning of the second act of you know,
falling in love and what that felt like, and then
we find our way to confessions, you know, and where
things kind of take a turn or the energy has changed,
and then we get to the to the final act
where it's like closure is personal and singular in this regard.
But then knowing like that there's always going to be
a continuation because you know, we have our child together,

(07:14):
you know, and in terms of that too, also like
continuation in my life of just knowing that sometimes things
are are not like a clean cut, you know, and
how do I how do I move forward?

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Now?

Speaker 10 (07:24):
Knowing like we're touring through that.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Yeah, now, when you put out Confessions, that was a
everybody because when I tell you the different layers that
you can look at from that.

Speaker 10 (07:36):
Yes, of course, I mean that's why we use the confessions.

Speaker 8 (07:39):
I mean when she was in there, when it was me,
her and Cam and we're working on it, and they
were like, you know, Taylor's like, we need to talk
about it, and I'm like, what you need to tell
You can talk about the night and they talk about it.

Speaker 10 (07:47):
When you talk about the situation, I'm like.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Oh, she could get you to do that too.

Speaker 10 (07:51):
Only she could get me to do that. And we
decide the confession like it was coming. It was naturally
coming with that and so.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
And you're like, oh, okay, we got the confession.

Speaker 10 (08:02):
The situation happened with um sure, okay.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Is there a moment that we're.

Speaker 10 (08:05):
Confessing something that they don't know about?

Speaker 1 (08:07):
I mean it's pretty obvious.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (08:09):
And that's also I feel like we have moments of
levity of satire where if you're really listening, you'll get
into some of the comedy and the humor that I
think has to be in my music because that's my personality,
that's the tone in which I do anything. So like
even if I'm going to do confessions, you're gonna get
a chuckle on the fact that d she really did
confessions and she really confessed.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
You are not the person anybody should want to break
up with.

Speaker 8 (08:32):
I mean honestly, anytime anybody's with an artist of any kind,
you can either get a movie about you, a book
about you, an album about you. You know, if you
were a part of my life and you mist something.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
Well, we got all the above because we got an album,
we got to visuals to go along with. Kiki Palmer
and Tela Parks are here. We're talking about the project
Just Kiki that is out. It is highly personal, so
we're gonna get highly personal. We got more when we
come back. It's way out way with Angela ye right
more now what's up?

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Its way up with Angela yee. And you know what
time it is.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
We got Kiki Palmer and Taylor Parks in the building
today talking about the new project, Just Kiki. People really
thought too, because they watch you and they're like, are
they getting back together?

Speaker 1 (09:13):
They spend this holiday d da da da dad.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Yeah, And they don't want you to like because I
do feel like your audiences, your fans, people that grow up.
They're very protective over you and that has to be
hard for him to deal with too.

Speaker 8 (09:24):
At the same time, yeah, I mean, but you know,
oh well, no, I mean, if you make your bed,
you gotta lay in it, right, you gotta own whatever
you've done. And obviously, at the end of the day,
I appreciate the love and the support from my fans
and hopefully then no one understand what I do and
I don't condone. That's why I had to move away.
I was moving, you know, and make the decisions that
I made. But at the end of the day, I'm
a forgiving person. If you if I can move forward

(09:46):
in terms of the betterment for my son.

Speaker 10 (09:48):
You know, we're family. We're always going to be family.
I would love for.

Speaker 8 (09:51):
It to remain positive for my son so that we
can support him and so it isn't weird at family things,
or you know, he can have both his parents on
Christmas and it can be something positive, you know.

Speaker 10 (09:59):
Yeah, that's what the hope would be.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
What about how he's going to receive this and his family,
because this is like you baring your tooth, bearing your soul,
telling things from your point of view, and have you
given him a heads up, has he heard any of this?

Speaker 10 (10:12):
You know, I didn't really think too much about it
about the family or anything like that.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
I didn't used to like them, his own family.

Speaker 9 (10:18):
Like we mentioned that, like.

Speaker 10 (10:22):
Me, that's fine, But when did you get back on that?
Because what holler at me?

Speaker 8 (10:29):
I lived that when that was a girl. You know,
just little tidbits. But yeah, I felt like it is
what it is.

Speaker 10 (10:37):
This is my work. This is my work.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 8 (10:40):
Do I come through your cubicle and tell you what
to put on your That's what it would be like.
People don't see it that way, but this is this
is mine.

Speaker 10 (10:46):
Over you want to do an album, do your own?

Speaker 8 (10:48):
And that played it for him obviously, you know, out
of respect, we got to yeah, like I did. But
he he liked it. I mean, look, I don't know
what he did when he first heard it fall. I
know he could have been like but when he talked
to me, he said, I'm happy for you and it's
a really great album.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Right now, I am talking to Kicky Palmer. Her project
Just Kiki is out alongside Taylor Parks. It was also
the co writer on the project and Kiki's best friend,
which was the one that you were like, I'm a
little like.

Speaker 8 (11:14):
The ones that I thought, Okay, yeah, I felt like,
I mean, obviously confession, I was like, could be triggering,
you know script, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 10 (11:26):
There was a couple of moments and misunderstood with the
Sten Reverend just like goes to ways. But you know,
I lived, we loved to wait.

Speaker 8 (11:38):
But yeah, there was a couple of moments at the
end of the like I said, it's the truth, you
know what I mean, It's real.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Unless it's you, it's truthful too.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
There's also that because it feels like on this album,
even though it's over, and it also feels like you
don't want it to be over.

Speaker 10 (11:56):
It's a morning.

Speaker 8 (11:57):
It's a quote in the visual album where I say,
how do you more on a love that will never
die yet and still will never be the same again?
And that's like nobody has a kid gets married for
to end, Nobody you.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Know what they say. I'd rather have loved and lost
and never have loved it all always. Are you ready
to date again?

Speaker 10 (12:16):
I mean, I'm opened. I'm not like it's just me
and my son type of bobs. I'm like, you know,
I'm working. We outside, we're seeing what's good. But you know,
my priorities are in order.

Speaker 8 (12:26):
I'm worried about this job, and I'm worried about my
baby and my family.

Speaker 10 (12:29):
As long as they good, we can step outside.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
For a bit.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
All right, Well, both of you, thank you so much.
The album is out, so make sure you get it girl,
and you are gonna love the visual. So take a
look at that. Just phenomenal job well done. We see
why you are who you are.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Thank you so much, Angela, Thank you, thanks for having us.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
That was Kiky Palmer. Thank you so much for joining
us alongside Taylor Park. I like seeing investies work together too.
Don't forget vibes. Cartel is going to be joining us
as well. And when I tell you he made some
money this year, okay, he ruffled some feathers.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
It's way up everybody exist.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
Whether it's relationship, for career advice, Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
This is asked, what's up his way up at Angela?

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Yee, I'm here with the award winning advice giving Mano
and I think there's a guy on the line. His
name is don I feel like Mano. This is when
you really could step up and help us with don
How you doing?

Speaker 1 (13:25):
I'm going, all right, what's your question today for asking
you for me? And mano?

Speaker 4 (13:29):
Me and my son is real tight. But his baby
mother moved in with us, like a few months back.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
I know this is going.

Speaker 7 (13:38):
Yeah, you slept your son baby mother. You slept. You
slept with your son baby mother. You are lame?

Speaker 6 (13:44):
Where you from?

Speaker 4 (13:45):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (13:45):
No like that?

Speaker 1 (13:48):
How did this all happen?

Speaker 7 (13:49):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (13:49):
No, Me and my son we were sixteen years apart
in age, and we've been through it with females. We
shid females and did all that.

Speaker 7 (13:57):
He came around and she wanted it, and it happened,
and it only was like three times, only three times
with this nonseet.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
You know you said, So, I want to go back
to what you said. You guys have shared women before,
like with each other's knowledge. Yeah, not at the same time.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
You did get down like that, But just the fact
that this happened and I never told him, But I
want to, should I think come to him?

Speaker 7 (14:21):
That's different. Yeah, you should say something, should say something
to yourself.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
What are you thinking about yourself now? Because you did
something like this and it feels like you guys didn't
have boundaries before this. You were sleeping with the same women,
sometimes at the same time, but this is different.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
She was living with you guys, and it's his child's mother.

Speaker 7 (14:39):
Yeah, so it.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
Feels like now you've crossed the line so many times
with each other before, but this feels like unacceptable.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Does he love her?

Speaker 4 (14:48):
I mean he's separating them, But I mean, I just
I never never poked to him about it.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
How do you think he'll react?

Speaker 4 (14:54):
I mean, I don't know how you're gonna react.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
I mean, has he ever done something Has he ever
done something like this to you where it was somebody
you really cared about, and he slept.

Speaker 6 (15:03):
It off like that.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Because you're the father, you're supposed to leave by example, all.

Speaker 7 (15:08):
The things you could be doing. You away here sleeping
with your son's baby mother.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
But the question is should he tell him? That's the advice.

Speaker 7 (15:14):
You might as well tell him out. Yeah, listen, son,
I'm a bad father, Harry.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
The thing I'm scared of is that what if she
ends up telling him one day and now you look
really crazy?

Speaker 7 (15:25):
True, once is somebody's baby mother. All those other games
forfeit right there, that's where it stops.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
What made you just kind of before go your own
morals to do something like this though, what.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
The crazy thing is laying in my bed? She was
in my bed night after night, and I'll be like, look,
stop getting in my bed.

Speaker 6 (15:43):
Because you end up getting you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
I will react on it. But then you would like
make me y'all want.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
To you yeah, because as soon as you say stop
laying in my bed because you're going to get that's
your way of letting her know it's about to go down.
Instead of being like, this is unacceptable, do not come
in here. I'm going to have to tell him. All right, well,
you know what you need to do. You gotta figure out.
I don't know if you can never make it right,
but you know I appreciate all right, thanks for calling.
That was ask Ye eight hundred and two ninety two

(16:10):
fifty one fifty. Always leave a message. We'll answer your
questions for asking ye that way and Vibes Cartel is
coming up next.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
It's way up.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Let's go turn me up here we go upgain this
is way up with Angela.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Ye, what's up?

Speaker 10 (16:24):
This way up?

Speaker 1 (16:25):
The answer made or get ready up?

Speaker 3 (16:28):
I mean it's really way up right, now because the
boss we got yes, yeah, yes, yes. Now, first off,
you did a summer cardiac, Yes, ma'am.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Is it being debuted or something or.

Speaker 6 (16:43):
Yeah, definitely. I don't know when what it's coming.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
We need a snippet or something. Yeah, let's go viral.

Speaker 6 (16:51):
If he wants to drop a snippet, let's get it.

Speaker 7 (16:55):
Let's go Yeah, way up.

Speaker 6 (16:57):
I want to take it back a little bit.

Speaker 7 (16:59):
How was it doing that?

Speaker 6 (17:01):
Because I did time?

Speaker 7 (17:02):
But when I did time, I wasn't never, I wasn't
in the industry. You was already a huge artist. I
was that doing time.

Speaker 6 (17:09):
Like that prisoners, prison man regardless. But you know what
I mean. Just it's Jamaica, so you know. But yeah,
I was in prison. I was rocking the roll ex Ladies,
Jordan's anything. I could get whatever I want. I just
couldn't leave. So it's kind of different, right, But it
was a dungeon still because it's not like an American prison.
Yeah you know, I mean, we still didn't have toilets

(17:29):
in the cells up to a point.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
I remember when that was a big story or some changes.

Speaker 6 (17:34):
Made toilets man, you got it newspaper.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
And wrap that up because the other problem is also,
you know, aside from that Graves disease.

Speaker 6 (17:42):
Yeah, I'm still suffering from it now. So I've been
through it. Man, But what are you gonna do? Kry No,
you gotta just pull your parents up and puschman. That's it.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
How was it to be?

Speaker 3 (17:51):
But when you found out you were coming home, because
that had to be, Like, I don't know what's about
to happen.

Speaker 6 (17:57):
I mean when I found out, like when they said, yeah, free.
But my thing is this, I'm from Jamaica. I'm from
the ghetto. Like, we don't get excited easily, Like we
got to open the gate and when I walk out,
that's when I know I'm out.

Speaker 7 (18:11):
So you gave the time back?

Speaker 6 (18:13):
Yes, basically, yeah, they gave me the thirty five years.
I gave them back like yeah, yeah, So that's why
I'm here now. You know what I mean, I'm free.
My record is screen so I don't know that because
it's overturning, you know what I mean. So I'm blessed.
God is the greatest man. We're just doing it. You
actually said it when you were talking about me years ago,
where when you were doing the Breakfast Club. I was

(18:34):
watching it from prison. And you were saying the same thing,
like go when romping Trump came out as my son,
I remember that specific.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
And I could be going back in the very beginning
of it. I was like, oh, you probably can't say.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
That, and I was like, what.

Speaker 7 (18:49):
Are they really saying?

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Place?

Speaker 6 (18:55):
Yes, it's a real place, real places, you guys, don't
call it me like a motel. Ahead, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
In Spain.

Speaker 6 (19:10):
We're playing.

Speaker 7 (19:10):
Yeah, you're playing there.

Speaker 6 (19:11):
Yeah, that's great.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
All right.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
The babe mine Mana is here and we're talking about
Cartel and of course we have more with him, more
good times when we come back.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
Is way up you want to know my name?

Speaker 2 (19:24):
Way up with Angelay?

Speaker 1 (19:27):
What's up this way up at Angela? Yee. I'm here
with Maino right and vice Cartels.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
Listen, we got to talk about everything else going on
to like this wedding.

Speaker 6 (19:36):
Yeah, because she has been February thirty first stop exactly,
just because I'm busy, I'm all over the place. But
she's here with me.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
Okay, Yeah, she's in the hotel right now.

Speaker 6 (19:47):
I don't leave her. She's my good luck charm.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
That's great.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Even the whole story of hell, y'all got together a
lot of things that happen in your life is just.

Speaker 6 (19:53):
Like you living destiny.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
Yeah it is.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
It's giving destiny because people were a little I think
people are protective over you. So people will be apprehensive
about somebody because they didn't know her.

Speaker 6 (20:03):
Yeah, they went in on her.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
Yeah they said she was a.

Speaker 6 (20:09):
She was a man.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Oh my gosh, what okay, Yeah, that's that was the
last one.

Speaker 7 (20:14):
Like it said she was a man.

Speaker 6 (20:16):
Like it's crazy. So that's the planet. We wanted to
do it on Valentine's Day, you know, honestly, but we
didn't know that I was going to get the visa
so quickly and things are going to escalate like that
because I'm all over the place now.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
Now I want to ask you this, because Fever is
your biggest song, but Ramping Shop to me is what
if you have to say what's bigger, Fever or Ramping Shop?

Speaker 1 (20:36):
What would you say in that argument as a crossover.

Speaker 6 (20:38):
Song, I would say it dependent because remember certain places
you're going in the world. Clarks is my biguess. Clarks
can certain places go with summer time?

Speaker 1 (20:49):
Right, summertime is my joint.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
When I go running in the park, that's my little
running somewhere.

Speaker 7 (20:53):
The walls, breaking places you.

Speaker 11 (20:55):
Yeah, they have their own right, Yeah, but those are
the top contenders, like you said, the Summer Time, the Fever,
the Clerks.

Speaker 6 (21:07):
But so I wouldn't choose one because it depends.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
The Clarks do a deal with you for that song
back then, or they wasn't.

Speaker 6 (21:13):
I mean, remember when we did that song, we wasn't
looking for it. We were just singing about how we lived, right,
But then it came exactly then it became big and
I went to prison, so I didn't get to capitalize, okay,
but to some extent Popcorn did so when I came out,
they haven't spoken to me yet, so I just go
Louis all the way coming home.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
The first stop was of course, okay, understand each other exactly.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
And I know you didn't last long.

Speaker 6 (21:49):
No fistball that was that, baby.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Sorry, it gets better.

Speaker 6 (22:07):
Be a long time, A long time. You shouldn't have
left you.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
And I know people could be critical of dance because
it is nasty, but that's also why.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
We like it.

Speaker 6 (22:16):
It's very sexual, man.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
Yeah, and I love that for it. I don't want
it to be you know.

Speaker 6 (22:20):
Why would I wanted to change? You want something commercials afrobeats,
because that's my story. You want you want to get
down and learning, call me in Spi and you know
what I mean.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
I love it well, Thank you so much. Vibes car
this is everything I dreamed it would be. So I
appreciate you for coming through. You are you a good time?

Speaker 6 (22:45):
Thank you very much.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
I'm the Vine, you are the Vibes for sure, the Viking.
Oh my god. All right, and when we come back,
of course you'll have the.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
Last take up the phone, Tappian to get your voice heard.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
What the word he is?

Speaker 2 (23:06):
The last word on Way Up with Angela Ye?

Speaker 1 (23:08):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (23:09):
Is Way Up with Angela Yee? I'm Angela Yee and
really having a good time you guys. To be honest,
like this show has been just really a blessing to
be able to wake up at seven in the morning
instead of four, to be able to come in here
with you guys.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
To make sure that y'all really run this show all right.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
Whatever it is that's interesting to you, you let me
know and we get that on the air. I want
to make sure we're constantly checking in, when we're constantly
shining a light, we're constantly hearing your secret and of course,
every day you guys get to have the last word.
Here it is, Hey, Angela Yee.

Speaker 11 (23:40):
My name is Mercedes.

Speaker 12 (23:42):
I was shining a light on my brother and his
now fiance. Her name is Zilarian, and I just want
to start a light on her because my brother was
so depressed a couple of months back, and she really
bought him out of that dark space and he's genuinely
happy now and I just love her for being heard.

(24:02):
So yeah, thank you shouting a light on them. I
hope you'll have a great day, great holidays, and

Speaker 2 (24:08):
By we're up with Angela Yee.
