had a really tough time these past couple of weeks,
you know, just really dealing with a lot of stuff
from my brother suddenly dying from a brain aneurism, and
you know, I just want to thank him for being
in good.

I've never seen, obviously my father so upset and just
so not himself. But I appreciate the fact that he
really brought the family together during this time, even though
it was at my house. But I do want to
shine a light on my dad. It's just been a lot.
But you know, even through anything we've been through as kids,

he's always been there for us and just him making
sure that everything was taken care of. This is my
first time having to go gravesite, shopping and doing all
of those things, but he was there every single step
of the way. And one thing he kept saying was
don't worry about it. I got it.

Do financially, he's I'm obviously trying to hold it down
too for him, but you know, he just has been

a chance to talk to both of you there, and

this new project, and I feel like just the energy
that you have together, it was definitely like a diary.

Yeah, it's definitely like a diary.

She's the only person that I would ever want to
talk to any of these things about.

And it was a nice relief for me because I
was like, Wow, it's not often that I work with
somebody as a sign that I know so so well. It's
usually like okay, I gotta get a little bit of
info from you to try to do something real, but
this one was not a nice relief.

It's just kiky. So this is three 's So the
beginning is kind of the you know in.

Speaker 8 (06:39):
Love, Yeah, I remember we were talking about that. Starting
it out with offscript. It kind of starts with that
nostalgic record scratch of know how did I get here?

It transports you into the beginning. It's like one five.

Speaker 8 (06:52):
That's the beginning of the second act of you know,
falling in love and what that felt like, and then
we find our way to confessions, you know, and where
things kind of take a turn or the energy has changed,
and then we get to the to the final act
where it's like closure is personal and singular in this regard.
But then knowing like that there's always going to be
a continuation because you know, we have our child together,

you know, and in terms of that too, also like
continuation in my life of just knowing that sometimes things
are are not like a clean cut, you know, and
how do I how do I move forward?

Knowing like we're touring through that.

Yeah, now, when you put out Confessions, that was a
everybody because when I tell you the different layers that
you can look at from that.

I mean when she was in there, when it was me,
her and Cam and we're working on it, and they
were like, you know, Taylor's like, we need to talk
about it, and I'm like, what you need to tell
You can talk about the night and they talk about it.

When you talk about the situation, I'm like.

Oh, she could get you to do that too.

Only she could get me to do that. And we
decide the confession like it was coming. It was naturally
coming with that and so.

And that's also I feel like we have moments of
levity of satire where if you're really listening, you'll get
into some of the comedy and the humor that I
think has to be in my music because that's my personality,
that's the tone in which I do anything. So like
even if I'm going to do confessions, you're gonna get
a chuckle on the fact that d she really did
confessions and she really confessed.

I mean honestly, anytime anybody's with an artist of any kind,
you can either get a movie about you, a book
about you, an album about you. You know, if you
were a part of my life and you mist something.

Yeah, And they don't want you to like because I
do feel like your audiences, your fans, people that grow up.
They're very protective over you and that has to be
hard for him to deal with too.

At the same time, yeah, I mean, but you know,
oh well, no, I mean, if you make your bed,
you gotta lay in it, right, you gotta own whatever
you've done. And obviously, at the end of the day,
I appreciate the love and the support from my fans
and hopefully then no one understand what I do and
I don't condone. That's why I had to move away.
I was moving, you know, and make the decisions that
I made. But at the end of the day, I'm
a forgiving person. If you if I can move forward

in terms of the betterment for my son.

You know, we're family. We're always going to be family.
I would love for.

It to remain positive for my son so that we
can support him and so it isn't weird at family things,
or you know, he can have both his parents on
Christmas and it can be something positive, you know.

Yeah, that's what the hope would be.

What about how he's going to receive this and his family,
because this is like you baring your tooth, bearing your soul,
telling things from your point of view, and have you
given him a heads up, has he heard any of this?

You know, I didn't really think too much about it
about the family or anything like that.

I didn't used to like them, his own family.
