was asleep?

Speaker 1 (00:29):

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Not just when it's at three day festival and he
was supposed to headline all three nights.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
Everybody lost money.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
So now yes, they're gonna refund all the tickets. All
of the sponsors had pulled up. I'm wondering why they
couldn't just replace him with someone else, literally anyone.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Like they had to cancel.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
The whole thing is wild, but I guess they lost
all the sponsors already.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
All the outfreas people can't return. Now. It's sad.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
People bought flights, okay, hotels, hotels uh anyway, Yeah, we're
coming in hot today because there's a lot going on.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
I mean, offset little TJ.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
This is so wow, I'm sleep.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Happening. But we're gonna get the show started. We gotta
do this.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Naomi Sharon's gonna be here today. She is the first
woman signed to Obio. Oh yes, indeed, No Sleep in
Paradise is the project on the way. But we got
a lot to say. She actually was super cool, so
we enjoyed talking to her. She's yeah, she's from Rotterdam.
But let's get a man performed there before. Yes, hey,

(01:35):
I'm a tattoo from Man.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Oh so you enjoyed that?

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Yeah, I love it. I there, it's so clean.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Okay, Well, let's get the show started with some love
and some positivity. Let's shine a light eight hundred nine fifty.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Call us up.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Let us know who you want to shine a light on.
Right now, let's hear some Kanye because you're not going
to see him in the UK. Here's all falls down.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
It's way up, lights on y'all, spreading love to those
who are doing greatness or.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
Shine the night.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
It's time to shine a light on them.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Yeah, it's way up at Angela Yee, Happy Tuesday. And
Jackie Fabulous is here. And I know you want to
shine a light on somebody today.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
I do a big old light fellow comic and but
not fellow billionaire, but Byron Allen, who owns the weather
channels for some of y'all, But he's also a comic
that I've known about and of for decades. His show
Comics Unleashed, got retin, renewed or moved up an hour
after he's on after Stephen Colbert eleven thirty five, and

(02:37):
after that it will be his comedian game show Funny
you should ask. So Byron Allen's production is gonna have
two shows on CBS back to back every night. This
is a big deal and mostly comics, mostly comedian. Huge
did this black man who owns the Weather channel and
owns everything else clearly now owns two hours on CBS

(02:59):
for commit So shout out to Byron Allen. Congratulations.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
It's got me ready to pay attention.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Okay, And I did commers and least recently March thirty
first was air. It airs. If you want to see
you can pobbly fine on YouTube. But thank you so much,
mister Allen.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
And I know you'll be back this round. They'll be there.
And Byron Allen was actually talking to Entertainment tonight. We
have that clip.

Speaker 6 (03:21):
This is the first time we've had somebody black on
a Big three network. ABCNBCCBS at eleven thirty five. So
I can't let the white guys have all the laughs.
You gotta cut the brother in too.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Okay, I know you did that, have patience, who do
you want to shine a light on?

Speaker 5 (03:43):
Listen, I'm sharing the light on myself today. I've spend
so much time felling everybody else's cup, but filling my
own cup.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
No, as you said, sometimes we gotta say I can't
believe I did that. Sometimes we gotta have that confidence.
We gotta give ourselves credit.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
Today, I just want to shine the light on myself
for sticking to it and doing a good job.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
You go, girl, and chick in to what what are
you doing.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
Focusing on myself up the see myself?

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Tell me something an accomplishment that you've had lately that
we can celebrate with you.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
I started my own online thrist store called the Seller Boutique,
so that's been going great. And then I've helped hundreds
of celebrities and creators monetize their social media, so all
the other people make money and put residual income in
their pocket. Also filled my cup.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Well, thank you, Patience, I appreciate that. That's really amazing.
I'm about to check you out than here.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
Shout out to everybody, Andrew, I love you, and shout
out to may I love him.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Okay, love you too, booth patience, Well that was Shina
Light eight hundred and two nine two fifty one fifty.
If you couldn't get through, leave a message, shine a
life a last word. And when we come back, since
we already started talking about Kanye and this Wireless Festival
breaking news canceled, we'll give you more details on what
happened behind the scenes as they tried to save the festival,
but unfortunately it could not be saved.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Its way up.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Angela's feeling that ye tea, Come and get the tea.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
It's way up.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
But Angela, yea, it's me and Jackie fabulous, good morning.
I feel like the news has been going crazy since
you've been here.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
Puam blinking nonstock.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
All right, Well, the Wireless Festival has been canceled. And
you know Kanye was supposed to headline all three days.
The pre sale tickets sold out in under an hour,
as you would expect for him, right, and so now
it's been canceled as a result of the Home Office
banning Yay from entering the UK.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
That is so sad they've been forced to cancel.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
All ticket holders will receive an automatic full refund.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
As you know, me and Ye had the same kind
of audience sizes come see us, and for artists to
not be able to tour the UK is that's a
huge blow to our schedule.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Well, originally he was given that visa, but they rescinded
it and all of these sponsors pulled out of the
Wireless Festival, so it already was looking a little iffy,
and they tried, I mean, the managing director for a
festival Republic they put on the Wireless Festival, Melvin Ben
is standing by Kanye and he was really trying to

(06:10):
make it happen.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Here is what he had to say when.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
About Pepsi, because Pepsi was the first major sponsor to
pull out.

Speaker 7 (06:17):
Nope with Pepsi for instance, I lead sponsored and they
signed off and approved it for example, and perhaps we
should have.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Done real Pepsi. Originally we're quite happy for him to
come correct.

Speaker 8 (06:26):
Yes, we are there headline sponsor.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
We asked them and asked them to sign off on
it and they.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Did all right.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Well, Pepsi ann has a bush PayPal, Rockstar Energy Joints,
and Diagio all pulled their sponsorships. Now on Kanye's behalf,
he had offered to meet the Jewish community. I don't
know about the how about it all right, but he
was offering to do that. He put out a statement
and said that I know words aren't enough. I'll have

(06:53):
to show change through my actions. You guys, remember if
you're open, I'm here, and the Jewish community said they
will want to see a genuine remorse and change before
believing that the appropriate place to test the sincerity is
on the main stage at the Wireless Festival. They agreed
to meet with him if he didn't perform this year.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
I understand asking him not to do it, but don't
take away money from all the other artists who look
forward to this.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
They could have tried to see who they could replace it.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Anybody I've done who me okay, Yeah, Jackie Fabulous Headline or.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
Any other rapper that's you know, on his level, or
at least ish on his level.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Jay Z would be here performing those same days, yeah,
and so at yank Ks City.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
So he's not available. I don't know who Wayne.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
He always complained it can you do it, Travis Scott,
that could have been it. I don't know if he
did it least you know who knows if he did
it recently too. Okay, Lil Wayne would be a great one,
but they posted even while claiming remorse.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Today.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
His latest album includes a track first release last year
with the abhorrent title gas Chamber.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
The Jewish community.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
Will want to see a genuine remorse and chain before
believing that. The appropriate place to test the sincerity is
on the mainstage at the Wireless Festival. That's from the
Board of Deputies of British Jews Dance.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Yeah, I know, so they are okay, all right now.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
In other news, Jonah Hill was on The San Low
Show and he's Jewish.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
I love Jonah Hill, and he said that so funny
to me.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
He's still a fan of Kanye, but Kanye also.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Kind of I guess is an anti Semitic because of
Donah Hill.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Here's what he said.

Speaker 7 (08:33):
I love the Kanye that I've met over the years.
I love the artist. I think there is no artist
I probably love more. And the hate stuff sucks. But
in the midst of all this jew stuff, he did
instagram a picture of me in the twenty one Jump
Street poster, and he said, you know something along the
lines of, I don't hate Jews anymore because I love

(08:54):
Jonah Hill.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Okay, was he being serious with this? What he just saying?
This is hilarious. Yes, he posted me on the rind
for he my boy. Yeah, that's ridiculous. Therefore he loves
Jewish people. Dan Is formally and he loves exactly.

Speaker 9 (09:11):
What Jonah Hill said is honestly how I feel.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
Yeah, I can't except he didn't post you.

Speaker 9 (09:16):
I can't remove the fifteen years of well.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
Okay, now I'm maybe if I'm wrong, correct me. Hasn't
he admitted or claimed that he's mentally ill? Yeah, so
why can't that be a little bit of a forgiveness past.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
We're gonna see.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
But when we come back about last night, we discussed
what we did last night.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
I wasn't working, but it was fun. It's way up.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
So about last night I went down.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Who It's way up at Angela?

Speaker 4 (09:46):
Yee?

Speaker 3 (09:46):
Is me and Jackie fabulous this morning? Jackie, have you
ever felt like you were getting canceled?

Speaker 4 (09:52):
You know, it's scary when I do a podcast or
radio show or anything publicly. I do watch what I say,
because be canceled, it ruins your life, your money, your career,
So I'm careful about it.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
I was telling so last night, since this is about
last night, I was doing lip service and Jozzi's episode
is going to drop today, so we're turning that around quickly.
But one thing I was saying is, you know, she
used to be signed Diddy and she managed.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
To get off the label.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
He actually let her because she had He clearly had
too much going on.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
He'd been busy.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Yeah, he was busy, and he shouldn't.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
I think that the right thing to do is to
make sure that she can flourish the way that she
needs to. But I also don't feel like people really
get canceled.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
There might be a lower level of what they.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Could have achieved, but I don't know too many people
that haven't ever worked again, Not too many.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
I know a couple of comedians who have been severely canceled,
and they're on tour now right, So I can't says
which special coming out you're touring. So maybe sometimes people
think a lot of time passes that will help.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Us and it's canceling, But then that's not really being canceled. No,
that's just a pause.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
Wasn't that Allen? Is that the last person I get
canceled on that level?

Speaker 3 (11:15):
I feel like he still was working and people still
have taken up for him.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Actors will still do stuff with him.

Speaker 4 (11:21):
OJ was canceled and then nothing. You gotta die to
escape the canceling.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
But O J still was doing stuff.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
You're still busy. He had a book and everything.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Yeah, he was on the sports podcast. Yeah, you know
all of that.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
They say time passes and then that will help it.
But and this memory that supports you.

Speaker 3 (11:37):
And so I want to talk about this in reference
to Kanye and this Wireless festival and what's going on
right now, because he sold out two shows broke records
at Sofy in California. But now this wireless three day
festival has been canceled, and I'm wondering, do you think
that Kanye should be canceled because there's clearly a lot

(11:59):
of people in Spy just pulling out and people who
feel like this is it, Like he's done too much
and he's dangerous for society, X Y and Z. I
want you guys to pick aside eight hundred two ninety
two fifty one fifty because I also people. I see
people being mad at who's going to the concert, or
like who's showing up on stay?

Speaker 1 (12:20):
How dare this person be there?

Speaker 4 (12:21):
And it's a music guys, we need music.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
But we want to know what your thoughts are.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Pick aside eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty
do you think that Kanye should be canceled? Because clearly
there are some people who do think that eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Call us up.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
It's not just right or wrong. It's about what you believe.
It's time to pick a side and stay there.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
And stay there. It's way up with Angela and Jackie
Fabulous is here with me today? All right?

Speaker 3 (12:50):
So Kanye has offered to meet with the Jewish community
in the UK trying to enter the UK for this festival,
the Wireless Festival, but since then it's been canceled, and
we're wondering, is there a reason that Kanye should be canceled?
I mean, this concert, this festival, the pre sale tickets
sold out in under an hour.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
The whole Jewish community, You're gonna be all of them,
not all.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Of them, just the Board of Deputies of British Jews.

Speaker 4 (13:17):
I don't want him to be canceled. I think he's
he's been trying to be forgiven for a while now.
Every now they're in the press conference or video or
post where he's like, hey, guys, I was terrific.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
But what if he does it again.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
He might believe he's a human being. He's mentally ill.

Speaker 9 (13:34):
Dan, what are your thoughts as a I think a
lot of the things that he did was like absolutely imparrent,
but also at the same time, like what he's meant
to me in my life. It's hard to cancel that.
You can't like middle school, high school, college.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Like what about corporate? What about corporations?

Speaker 4 (13:53):
You know?

Speaker 9 (13:53):
I think that just has to do with the cancel
culture and folding under pressure, because if the money is there,
you know they're gonna do it. But if the backlashes
there and now all of a sudden there's gonna be
a brand boycott all that stuff, it gets sick.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
Yeah, I are you canceling him now? I'm be canceling
him late. The things he did was a minute.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
I think there's just certain places he can't go. What
do you say, Emily, you pick a SIDEH told Kanye
be canceled no, he.

Speaker 5 (14:18):
Why do will you be canceled Donald Trump?

Speaker 1 (14:21):
And canceled?

Speaker 5 (14:23):
He wrote them all roll through Kanye well doing music.

Speaker 8 (14:26):
Talking about basically he a minister society because y'all y'all
on a green or what he's saying. What he's doing,
but y'all feel like Donald Trump ass out of office.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
It's under this bigger fish to fine.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Okay, he throwed off.

Speaker 5 (14:39):
People want to see him.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
Why does not they?

Speaker 6 (14:41):
You want to mess up his face because they hurt.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
I like your passion too, and you're not playing let
him have it, and you're not wrong Donald Trump? I mean,
he way bigger villains and it's confirmed the awful things
he's done.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
All right, well, thank you for calling.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
Thank you?

Speaker 1 (15:02):
Hey JJ. Do you think Kanye should be canceled?

Speaker 4 (15:05):
HEYJJ, at how you doing?

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (15:08):
Unfortunately, of course I do think he should be canceled.
But set me off first with a comment about slavery
with a choice. He's had all these anti Semitic antics,
so yeah, I gotta cancel him. Unfortunately.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
Okay, so you don't like his things that he said,
but you do know he does have disorder like mental issues.

Speaker 11 (15:28):
That's true.

Speaker 10 (15:29):
What he should have done is you should have gotten
the help that he needed and then going on a
tour of talking about how what he did was completely
wrong and become an advocate for people with mental illness.
But there are certain things that hit hard home, especially
people who've had the backgrounds of family who've been enslaved,
and people who've been discriminated upon that it's just hard

(15:50):
to take back those things.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
All right, Well, thank you for calling.

Speaker 10 (15:54):
You got it? Thank you?

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Hey, Dutch, what do you think about Kanye? Should he
be canceled?

Speaker 11 (16:00):
Don't think we should cancel?

Speaker 10 (16:01):
I think we should cancel the cancel coach.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
Okay, okay, you don't believe in cancel culture?

Speaker 11 (16:07):
No, because it's like we.

Speaker 10 (16:08):
Pick and choose when we want to cancel.

Speaker 4 (16:10):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Is there anybody you think should be canceled?

Speaker 4 (16:13):
No, I won't say.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
Okay, all right, so you don't believe in canceling anyone
at all. What do you do you think there should
be any repercussions for Kanye? You said you have no answer? Yes,
all right, Well you called for it. Sounds what you feel, man,
he No, thank you for calling.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
That sounds sexy and mysterious and a pain just your.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Type, all right?

Speaker 3 (16:43):
Well, when we come back, we have your Yee tea
and we got to talk about Offset and the Hard
Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida where there was an altercation.
Offset was unfortunately shot, but he'll be okay. Now there's
reports about Little TJ being present booked as well.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Will tell you more when we come back. It's way up.
It's like a tout like the Angel Jean like they
Aeli Jean Man.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
She's spilling it all.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
This is yet well, all right, his way up at
Angela Yee is me and Jackie?

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Fabulous?

Speaker 4 (17:15):
What's up?

Speaker 1 (17:17):
All right? So much going on?

Speaker 4 (17:20):
Ella.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
There were reports yesterday about Offset and according to these reports,
he was shot and that was near the Hard Rock
Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. This happened yesterday. A
source said that he appears to be fine and police
were on site immediately. The situation was contained quickly. Quavo
posted the praying hands emoji on Instagram.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
I care about him because I love CARDI. Okay, that's
why I'm concerned. Yeah, that's that's why you're concerned. That's
the only reason all right.

Speaker 7 (17:50):
Now.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Little TJ, in the meantime, has been arrested his mugshot
is out here, and he was arrested for disorderly conduct
and operating a vehicle without a license in Florida. So
there's a lot of stories floating around now. Initially the
story was that Little TJ and Offset was shot. Then
there was a story that Little TJ's shot Offset in

(18:11):
the butt. Now Little TJ's attorney put out a statement saying,
we are issuing this release in regards to false rumors
that Little TJ was involved in a shooting and that
resulted in non life threatening injuries to Offset. Little TJ
has not been shot, nor has Little TJ been charged
with any shooting.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
Any reporting to the contrary is false.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
We encourage people to consult trusted news sources and to
verify the accuracy of any reporting before reflexibly sharing or
repeating baseless rumors.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
How is mistresst doing? Is he okay?

Speaker 3 (18:43):
He is stable, He's in stable condition. They're saying he's
going to be okay. But then there's all these other
stories that have been floating around about Offset.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
Now we've heard that he's had a gambling issue.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
A lot, not putting an album, but he's in a
casino now, got a different job, now.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
Well, well, here is old audio of TJ talking about
loaning offsets and money.

Speaker 8 (19:04):
That's cause he was popped. He was acting random people
for cash apps strong not five you know how I get.
He gets popped. He got another loan for somebody else
for like two bands. I don't even take my loans office.
I'm good on my money. I'm gonna worry about this.
Another five words of my mother that duck me for
so long. Boy that I'd beat the mother's birthday.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
But so he said, he loaned on the money and
off set. It's been ducking him.

Speaker 4 (19:28):
Thank god he asked him for money and not Cardi
b Well, leave Cardy's money. Divorce need to be final.
This man is dangerous, gambler problem out all this money
he got?

Speaker 3 (19:39):
What's Academics posted a clip of a little TJ interview
that he has coming out, and he said they talked
about offset for only two minutes in this interview.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
But here is what was said.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
What do you do your money back? Tell me get
that back in blood?

Speaker 11 (19:53):
Like I look at it, like, well, you man, whole game.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
So he tell you, he said, he told you get
it back in blood.

Speaker 4 (19:59):
Deep know that a black tack tables heavy, so.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
We'll keep our eye on what's going on.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
But you know, there's also been allegedly this academic's got
a hold of some information with that particular casino that
he was in the hard rock where I'm not sure
if this is two or not, but offset was down
almost nine hundred thousand dollars and you know line of credit.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
That's nine dollars for me.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Yes, you got it, I got it. You should have
asked you.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
All right, well that is your yet And when we
come back under the radar, these are the stories that
are not necessarily in the headlines. They're flying under the radar,
but you for sure need to know about them and
be paying attention. I mean, we're looking at all these
things that are happening in the headlines right now, you
know with Donald Trump.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
Also, I saw snow. We thought that summer.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
Yeah, I'm gonna move to back to LA I can't
take this. You can't take it any tired, Okay me,
I am tired of it too, but I'm not moving.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
I'll just deal with it.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
It's way up in the news there relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Oh, it's way up at Angela. Ye's me and Jackie fabulous?
What were you said about me with.

Speaker 4 (21:09):
I asked you about I don't remember now, Yes, what
clothing line is?

Speaker 1 (21:14):
I forgot that fast she in Okay? And Edie she
in Yeah?

Speaker 4 (21:19):
And somebody got a clothing line.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
Of has a body got another drop?

Speaker 4 (21:24):
Yeah? A drop with a company and makes clothes out
of tissue. I'm confused.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
All right, Well, now let's get into some real news.
Winter is back.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
According to reports, there's been snowfall in New York, Upstate,
and cities like Boston and Burlington, Vermont could all see
some snow throughout today.

Speaker 4 (21:43):
Stay away from me.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
I'm so tired of this. It was warm for one day.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
I can't put nothing away because nothing should be put away.
No sweatshirt or sweater should be put away away. I
keep on a chair in your bedroom.

Speaker 3 (21:55):
Can I put away my all my little scullies I
pulled out today? Yeah, but I kind of put away
my winter clothes already.

Speaker 4 (22:03):
I will starts my back right now. I'm like, you
just don't know, you just don't know.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
Well, pull him back out, guys, all right now.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
Donald Trump has set an eight pm deadline for around
to make a deal tonight. No, so he says that
a whole civilization will die tonight.

Speaker 4 (22:21):
Oh god, that's so sad.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
And then he said maybe something revolutionary, revolutionarily wonderful can happen.
Who knows, He does say deadlines all the time. But
this is just awful. And a lot of people are
talking about these war crimes and talking about wiping out
a whole civilization.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
Is crazy.

Speaker 4 (22:38):
Isn't that considered what should make genocide? Now?

Speaker 3 (22:42):
The president has the written massive US attacks on civilian infrastructure,
also not caring about any type of possible war crime
because there's no accountability from the rest of the people
in his party. But yes, so people are definitely on
edge right now.

Speaker 4 (22:58):
Although he's threatening a humanity of people, like a population.
So you should be a concerned because it doesn't stop there.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
With him, but it goes on and on and ice.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
You know, here's another update. Immigration officers are making arrest
and sensitive locations, including family court. Imagine this. A woman
took the stand and tell her version about what happened
when she was assaulted and a victim of sexual violence.
And she and her boyfriend argued, and you know, she
said he put her in a chokehold and then sexually

(23:29):
assaulted her. She lost consciousness when she left the herring
and they stepped outside. She was tackled to the ground
and arrested by ICE. Can you believe that after you're
in court, they're waiting outside of court at family court
for things like that.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
I've had my first encounter with ICE at the airport
this last weekend. They were checking our and I don't know,
I was kind of surprised.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
Well, they didn't have those masks on, so I think
it's a little different when people can see your face.

Speaker 4 (23:57):
And I had an attitude and I was worried about
it because the guys were extra friendly in a patronizing way,
and I was I wasn't smiling back. I wasn't pleasant
because I was, you know, it's nice. I don't support them.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
All right, Well, that is your under the radar.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
We do have the Way Up mixed at the top
of the hour, plus Naomi Sharon's going to be joining us.
She is the first woman of OVO. No Sleep in
Paradise is the upcoming project.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
It's way up because she came ver sipts.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
It's time to spill that.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Ye team all right? His Way Up with Angela Yee
I am here with Jackie Fabulous.

Speaker 7 (24:29):
Hello, is it me.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
All right?

Speaker 12 (24:33):
Now?

Speaker 3 (24:34):
Push Shaisty and Gucci Mane this whole situation. According to
the defense, they're saying that Feds could be all wrong.
They were involved in something that the day that they
are alleging that Guchi man was kidnapped at gunpoint, but
the story is a tall tale. According to attorneys representing
two of the defendants, they are saying that they're going

(24:55):
to be.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
Pleading not guilty to these charges.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
They deny all allegations against Big thirty in the charging documents.
There was a situation, but Big thirty only went to
the studio with Poushisty to make music. According to Poush
Shisty's attorney, Bradford Cohen, they're saying that the prosecution case
against pous Shisty may not hold up to close inspection.
We're going to examine the accuracy of the statements from

(25:20):
the alleged victims and the complaint and what those individuals
allegedly told them. I'm not sure those individuals said. What
is said in indictment.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
Shout out to Shisty having legal issues makes sense. They Shisty, all.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
Right, and we all know a lot of times these
things get blown out of proportion. And you know, this
person kidnapp pulled again. So we don't know if that
even you can't.

Speaker 4 (25:41):
Improve none of this, nothing's on camera. It's just I
swear to god, they kidnap me. Y'all know it.

Speaker 3 (25:46):
I'm telling you all right now, Anthony Davis has his
prank show Foul Play with Anthony Davis, and they have
a new clip that just got put out into sixteen
half out sixteen half hour episodes series.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
Good for him sixteen. That's a rarity these days, so many.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
Listen, yes sixteen.

Speaker 3 (26:04):
Jordan Childs is going to be on an episode, Okay,
Mookie Betts, DeAngelo Russell, Cooper Flagg, Howie Mandela.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
Is going to be on one. Hollie Hey, Hollie. Yes, indeed.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
And they're saying this is going to be really fun
and diverse as hitting camera comedy. So one person on
this clip that we saw, they pranked Draymond Green. Basically
they set him up thinking that he was going to
meet with VC firm to invest in something, right, to
invest in a product. Rich Paul was there as well, right, Yeah,

(26:36):
he works everybody with money. And here is how it
went down, is they're trying to get him to invest
one hundred million dollars.

Speaker 4 (26:45):
This isn't This isn't the.

Speaker 10 (26:47):
League, this is the NBA.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
These are big boy.

Speaker 11 (26:52):
Pants were on FAM.

Speaker 4 (26:54):
Why would I sit on one hundred million dollars cash?

Speaker 1 (26:57):
Do we deal with? Okay?

Speaker 6 (26:59):
Memory Russell start yelling, I'm a grown last night?

Speaker 4 (27:02):
Should we stop yelling?

Speaker 1 (27:03):
All right, I'm gonna move here because I will.

Speaker 4 (27:07):
I love how I got the real draman.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
Well, anyway, when he started to really get upset and
stood up and was going to walk out the door,
that's when it was revealed that it was a prank
and Lebron popped out.

Speaker 4 (27:22):
Was he the first episode of the first one is
the Angriest and Player?

Speaker 3 (27:26):
That's all that we saw, Okay, but the premiere is
was on yesterday? And so yes, that was the premiere
episode Lebron James and Draymond Green.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
And here's what happened.

Speaker 6 (27:38):
The letter to be sitting here yelling like, yeah, y'all,
I got it?

Speaker 7 (27:44):
How about that?

Speaker 4 (27:45):
How about that? I hear you.

Speaker 7 (27:49):
You.

Speaker 4 (27:52):
I love how they pick the angriest dude. I love it.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
The perfect first one he handed himself.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
Well though, I will say everybody in their room.

Speaker 3 (27:59):
You wanted you.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
I know he he did handle himself pretty well.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
And Shack and Warner have launched the dunk Man Professional
Dunk League that is going to be with TNT Sports.
It's the first professional league tied to dunking, and that'll
be happening this summer twenty four skilled dunkers competing live
across four events, and they'll be competing for a world
championship title on a grand prize of five hundred thousand dollars.

Speaker 4 (28:21):
I am excited. I used to look forward to the
dunk contest, my dad, my ex, we all used to
love it and it has become so boring of late.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Well we're going to thank you.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
For bringing it back and maybe doing it right now.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
Well, this lunch got to start as a six episode
competition late last year, and so that's happening, all right,
Well that is your yet when we come back, ask
Yee eight hundred and two nine two fifty one fifty
oer Me and Jackie Fabulous gotcha back. We are here
to help you out.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
With it's relationship for career advice. Angela's dropping facts. You
should know this is Askee.

Speaker 1 (28:55):
What's up his way up at into the yee.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
It is me and Jackie Fabulous here today, and it's
time to ask you.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
We have to nail on the line.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
She's an artist and she's trying to figure out where
should she be spending her dollars to make sure that
she's promoting her music so people know who she is.

Speaker 10 (29:11):
Yeah, I'm gonna independent artists.

Speaker 5 (29:12):
I just drop my single this smarts to invest in
DJ's playing it early? Or should I focus more on
building organics?

Speaker 4 (29:18):
Bus her?

Speaker 1 (29:19):
What's the single's name? First of all? Because you are
on the radio now, you should be saying it. Okay,
day and night. What's your name as an artist?

Speaker 10 (29:27):
Remix curt?

Speaker 1 (29:29):
Okay, let me hear a little something.

Speaker 5 (29:31):
Oh my goodness, I.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
Want to spy right now. Yes, you gotta be ready
in the artists to the time whenever it's time on
the spot, I want.

Speaker 10 (29:38):
How to hear it?

Speaker 3 (29:39):
Where can we find where can we find it music?
So you're asking should you invest in DJ's playing it?
I don't think you're at that point yet yet.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
Not yet?

Speaker 3 (29:49):
Okay, have you been doing any performances? How are you
connecting with people? Are you online? Have you know do
you have social media?

Speaker 1 (29:57):
Pages.

Speaker 4 (29:58):
Are you on TikTok any concerts you put together yourself
small shows?

Speaker 8 (30:03):
I'm on tiktoks, I'm on Instagram, I'm on YouTube, and
I haven't put together any shows yet or performed it yet.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
Okay, but you are performing it on these social media channels.

Speaker 10 (30:14):
Uh yeah, I have a videos.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
Where are you from?

Speaker 10 (30:18):
Fame Moore?

Speaker 3 (30:19):
Because there's a lot of opportunities for you to be outside.
You know, you gotta network connect with people. Do you
have any like music industry connections?

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Do you know DJs?

Speaker 5 (30:29):
I listened to one five one all the time, but
I don't know any DJs personally.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Do you ever come out to any events?

Speaker 5 (30:36):
I'm truck too.

Speaker 3 (30:37):
I need to hear this to see if it's any
good too, because you also want to make sure you're
promoting the right song.

Speaker 4 (30:43):
And if nobody told you that you are good, that's
a that's a red flag. Are you good?

Speaker 1 (30:48):
My friends have heard it and they all say fighter.

Speaker 4 (30:51):
As a fellow performer, I'm a comic and I will
perform anywhere at any time, online, in person, laundromat, club,
anywhere you got to. You gotta have that mentality to
turn it on whenever someone's like, let mean what you
do and you to do it right there in there.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
You turn down your ego, turn down your shame.

Speaker 4 (31:08):
You got that audacity to be a performer, whether you
whether you are thought of, is good or not.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
Okay, but definitely boost whatever post that it is that
you're doing. Make sure that your friends, everybody that's supportive
of you is also on this campaign with you. Invest
in you come up with a marketing strategy and a plan.
Sometimes it's even not just doing stuff but sitting down
and being strategic about what you're planning to.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
Do and not worry about if you're harassing anyone. You're
putting yourself out there and.

Speaker 1 (31:35):
Get the biggest bang for your bucks.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
So if that means I'll invest a few dollars to
boost this post or to look regionally online, or what
opportunities are there for me to come out and even
just perform a song or go out and network, like,
make sure you take advantage of things like that because
things aren't going to just happen for.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
You, and be willing to be to look foolish and
don't worry about how you appear. Audacity, audacity, yep, okay.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
Hi girl, Okay girl.

Speaker 5 (32:02):
Thank you so much day night.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
Okay, we see you. Well.

Speaker 3 (32:06):
That was ask ye eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty in case you couldn't get through. And when
we come back, here's an artist who's made it out
of Rotterdam. Okay, okay, we.

Speaker 1 (32:16):
Got Naomi Sharon joining us. She is the first woman
on OBO Records. It's way up the.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
Most famous women in radiodiomen. We're talking about Angela Ye.
You're way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
Please believe that. What's up his way up for Angela Yee.

Speaker 3 (32:31):
My girl Jordie Door is here with me today and
we had Naomi Sharon here and for everybody listening, she's
the first woman signed to OBL Music period period.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Lady of OBO Music.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
Talk to me about just kind of growing up in Rotterdam,
Am I saying it right? Yeah, okay, you do Rotterdam
in the Netherlands and what that was like and how
you got into theater.

Speaker 12 (32:51):
I grew up in a family with a lot of
like musicians, singers, dancers, so it was kind.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
Of in the blood, in the blood and in the
stars that I was going to.

Speaker 11 (33:00):
That pretty young.

Speaker 12 (33:01):
I started to do a musical theater while I was
doing trek and field as well. For a while, I
was I thought I was doing the Olympics like in
the future, No, for real, like I was serious about it.
And then I had to make a decision that was
a hard one. I cried, like I was actually going
to be in like the national team.

Speaker 4 (33:19):
So it was.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
So I think, you don't know what's going to happen.
It's kind of like you were going to be in
the national team, so you knew that could happen. But
then this was more of a risk.

Speaker 12 (33:32):
I knew from a young age that what I wanted
to do was what I was going to do, right,
and I think when you're younger, you're a little bit
more like.

Speaker 11 (33:40):
Yeah, I'm going to do that.

Speaker 4 (33:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (33:43):
At that age, I was like, all right, well, I'll
just become a singer.

Speaker 4 (33:46):
And then I did thank you.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
But yeah, right now, Naomi sharing his hair her project
No Sleep in Paradise is on the way signing to Ovo,
Drake reached out to you.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
Yeah on the DM. Yeah, did you think it was real?

Speaker 12 (34:03):
Yeah? Well, I was like, you know, the first thing
he said was about the music and he was going
to listen to it, and I was like, all right,
but he did. He came back to me and that
follow up with like a meeting with like the whole team,
and then I was like, okay, yeah, this is legit,
Like I want to do this, and I think it's
great to have something behind you that can push you.

Speaker 11 (34:25):
I was already doing so much by myself though.

Speaker 12 (34:27):
Like I didn't have a label, didn't have management at
the beginning, well, doing so many things myself.

Speaker 11 (34:34):
But it's always great to see people want to support you.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
How did he even see, like see your music to
reach out to say, I want to hear I.

Speaker 12 (34:43):
Think someone send it over to him or something. I
don't know, Like I asked him this, but the answer
was quite fake. So I mean he was complimenting me
on like the music that I made, which I have
three songs out. They reached a lot of people though.
It was really interesting because I released that independently.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
How has life changed or has it changed for you
after signing touring with Times?

Speaker 11 (35:04):
She was really nice.

Speaker 3 (35:05):
Yeah, and I want to say you and Thames, I
could slide from your music to her music.

Speaker 11 (35:10):
Yeah nice.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
And that's just even the way it sounds. It does
have like an Afro type of vibe to it as well.

Speaker 11 (35:18):
Now she's great. She's amazing, beautiful and such a nice person.

Speaker 12 (35:22):
So these things are are are great, you know, and
just making a lot of music and meeting new people
like right now. The new album is executive produced by
Jordan from Modred and Jordan's Yeah, and that whole process
was just so special.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
And I know people ask you, Israke is he going
to have something on the album?

Speaker 12 (35:43):
It's so funny that question because the answer is no,
but like no, But to me it's important that I
can show myself but also other people that I can
do this by myself.

Speaker 4 (35:54):
Right.

Speaker 11 (35:54):
I don't need a feature to get there.

Speaker 12 (35:57):
These are stepping stones and they're really good, and of
course I would be grateful, but it's not like the
number one.

Speaker 11 (36:04):
Priority for me is that album done. The album is done.
It's gonna come out very soon.

Speaker 3 (36:09):
Jordy Door is here with me today and Naomi Sharon
is our special guest. She's from the Netherlands from Rotterdama.
She's also signed to Obio Sound. We have more when
we come back. It's way up, yeah, more Way up
with What's Up is way up with Angela Yee and

(36:30):
Jordy Door is here with me. Today we are talking
to Obio Sounds first woman artist Naomi Sharon.

Speaker 1 (36:36):
You've also done martial arts.

Speaker 11 (36:38):
I love martial arts.

Speaker 12 (36:41):
The decision came after I had a moment on the
street where someone put his hands on me, and so
when that happened, I remember it was so mad.

Speaker 11 (36:51):
I was like that rage needs to be put.

Speaker 1 (36:53):
Into I need to know if that happens, I'm gonna
drop kick him in the throat.

Speaker 12 (36:58):
Well, which funny because that was my first initial thought,
but later on you're gonna learn that you don't know
what you're gonna encounter with. I think martial art comes
a lot of discipline and respect and also knowing that
you have to walk away from a situation first, right,
you don't want to end up round.

Speaker 1 (37:16):
Yeah, you're right.

Speaker 12 (37:16):
And I did kickboxing or tie boxing and Brazilian jiu jitsu.
If I can recommend a martial art to women, Brazilian.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
Jiu jitsu, oh wow, okay good.

Speaker 12 (37:29):
Because if you're ever in a situation, I think it's
really important to know what you have to do on
the ground or like to protect yourself.

Speaker 3 (37:36):
And you take it very seriously, like not just I
was competing. Yeah, I do want to say I'm sorry
that that happened to you there. Yeah, yeah, you know
that's awful and nobody should have to experience that. No,
I want to say, sorry that happened, but it led
you on a path of.

Speaker 12 (37:49):
Yeah, I understand more, and I understand more about my
rage as well.

Speaker 11 (37:53):
Sometimes it's I think a lot of women have that.

Speaker 4 (37:55):
I know.

Speaker 11 (37:56):
It's you have this like thing and you don't want
that to come out ever, right right, that's dangerous.

Speaker 1 (38:01):
So what we're trying to control that. Yeah, we're trying
to act like everything's okay.

Speaker 11 (38:05):
No, Yeah, but I think one thing is really good.

Speaker 12 (38:09):
If you can walk around with like security within yourself,
I think that also affects how people approach you. You
knowing that you can do something is a really good power,
right you can have and I can twit myself if
I have yes, And I hope that no one gets
into that, or if you listen and you had gone

(38:31):
into that, I'm sorry too, Like it's it's not nice
right now.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
Naomi Sharon is here.

Speaker 3 (38:36):
Her project No Sleep in Paradise is on the way,
and even just as far as the fitness aspect and
the therapy and the I'm sure a meditative aspect of
working out and feeling better about yourself and strong. Being
strong is a great feeling.

Speaker 12 (38:50):
Yeah, yeah, which is interesting because I think a lot
of times, even on social media, I see people react
to my body being like oh my god, like you're so.

Speaker 11 (38:59):
Big, or like are you a man or whatever?

Speaker 12 (39:01):
And I'm like, since when do women have to be petite? Like,
if you are, that's great, but I think, like, I
love my strong body. Yeah, I think you look amazing.
I want to say, he's not in here right now,
but are board up? When I told them you were coming,
there's a picture of you that's so viral. He's like, yeah,
this is the picture. What's the picture?

Speaker 1 (39:22):
And he was like yes. I was like, all right,
calm down, get well, Naomi.

Speaker 3 (39:27):
Thank you so much for joining us. Nic Sleep in
Paradise coming very soon, yes, sooner than we think.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
Yeah, okay, and I'm more to a tour anything. What
are we doing?

Speaker 11 (39:36):
We are definitely touring.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
Yeah, yeah, that's all I can say.

Speaker 11 (39:44):
I mean, no, I'm touring and maybe something earlier.

Speaker 3 (39:47):
And uh, who knows, okay, who knows? You know, I
know I don't want to tour. Okay, all right, Well,
thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
It's well, thank you.

Speaker 3 (39:58):
Watch that for interview on my YouTube channel Way Up
with Ye And when we come back, it's your show.

Speaker 1 (40:03):
So you have the last word.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
Got the phone tap It gets your voice heard with
the words the last word on Way Up with Angela, Ye.

Speaker 1 (40:13):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (40:13):
His Way up at Angela Yee and Jackie fabulous back again,
Day two, Day two.

Speaker 4 (40:19):
We love it. This is the first job I've had
at entertainment where I've come back and second and third
time what America got talent? They wanted to be back.
But I'm always like one commercial, one TV show, you know, one.
