You actually went to school and you're going to be

I don't even know how you managed to do all this.
But why was going to culinary school important to you?

That's actually something I always wanted to do.

And one big thing that happened in my life in
two thousand and nine was my grandma, who was my
favorite person in the world.

She passed, but she used to cook all the time,

Was singing and cooking and making things feel festive for
every holiday, and those qualities I absorbed. But I wasn't
old enough to care to ask how she did certain things.

great meal by going with my friends, and so now
I feel like I want to discover what that feeling was,
and it's another love language to me. But it was

important to go to school, especially last year, knowing that
last year was the year of the Snake. I had
so many changes going.

hit Beautiful Girls, and at a point I was like,
I want to be like Bruno and be catapulted into
this really amazing top ten category with a rapper and
then from there do my own things. So at a
point I was just riding hooks, only like all these hooks.
I remember that, right, I was like the hook person.

So that's how I was ended up with Nas and
Ti and like became the go to person for just
like wrap hooks.

So that was inspired by Bruno for years and years ago.

That's interesting. I didn't even think about that.

And then fast forward to twenty twenty. I was about
four months pregnant and I recorded this live performance of
my song Jaguar, and I waited to put it out
a little bit because I wasn't sure.

If I would be able to go on tour.

The world was kind of like shut down, and was
obviously pregnant too, so I was gonna wait a little
bit for that content. But I had a feeling that
when the world opened up that Silk Sonic would tour
because their album came out that year as well, and
so I put this video out as my audition tape
to open for Silk Sonic. So I tweeted it and
I put that out into the universe.

So well, because I would think you wouldn't even have
to put that out like that, but I'm like.

Whatever it takes, I would still do that.

And I could just see you making a call and
being then being like absolutely right now, my girl Victoria
