Speaker 1 (00:01):
All right, welcome to another episode of By Order of
the Faithfuls. Going over episode five and six today, I'm wells.
I'm alongside Tamra, Judge and Dolores Catania. Ladies, how we
don't y?
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Good morning?
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Oh it's a good episode and I'm so excited to
talk about it.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Is it weird for you guys to rewatch it?
Speaker 4 (00:20):
It is? I get like butterflies.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
It's just so much chaos in this turret.
Speaker 5 (00:29):
Yeah, at are too busy fighting among Yeah, they're so
busy fighting amongst themselves. It's crazy. They should be walking together.
I no idea this was going on.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
No no clue. And like my mother said before I left,
who knows nothing? She goes Dolores. Evil can never stay
with evil. They will turn on each other, Valerie.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
That explains a lot of people I know.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
Right, So, Valerie who never finished high school, my mother,
who's never write a book or been on a plane
or a train. I knew what was going on before
I left. If we ever, if you ever need advice,
called gallery, yeah, or you so that tour it's getting
really heated, it is on fire, looks really cold and
(01:17):
what always.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yeah, yeah, and you can tell that they're in there
for a lot longer than they are showing on TV.
Like you can tell, like they're in there fighting all
for hours on end.
Speaker 4 (01:30):
You get up there, they said a couple hours.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Late.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
So they don't even get back to their room till
like one o'clock.
Speaker 5 (01:38):
Yes, no, then they have to be up at six
to get Oh god, I don't ever want I don't ever.
Speaker 4 (01:45):
Trader nine never wanted.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
Un Then you could sleep at the castle, that would
be nice.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
I don't want to sleep in that cold place.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
I know, cold, haunted for sure.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
I don't even care about haunted. I hate being cold.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
It's not the dead I'm worried about ever, that's for sure.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Let's get into this episode. So here's how it starts.
You know, they meet in the turret after Bob the
Drag Queen's banishment. Why do you think that Austin Robb
wanted to get Bob the Drag Queen out so badly?
I mean, he uses his excuse of well, he called
me out, he said, one of the three people from
the cage.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
Yeah, I know, that wasn't it. That wasn't it?
Speaker 1 (02:27):
No?
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Was it a personal or was he he's threatened by him?
Speaker 3 (02:31):
I don't think he was threatened by anyone, Boston Rob.
I think that it was just he was starting to
pick them off, and he was the easiest one to
go because he was too forceful in the turret and
he heard his name getting thrown around, so that was
his one shot to do it.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
I mean, I think he wanted control in that turret,
and I think he thought that as long as Bob
the drag Queen was in there would not have control.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
That makes sense.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Yeah, And it was the right move, just like he's
a master poker player.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
He knows his moves and he's smart, so he just listened.
It was a big chance.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
He put a target on his back for doing it,
but he also gained a lot of the trust of
the faithfuls.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
Other faithfuls like.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
Wow, look what he did. But in the meantime, Dylan
was the one who went for him first. But no
one listened to Dylan.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
Because his voice was not as loud as Rob's.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
Yeah, and Rob made a really good argument at the roundtable.
But you know, it's interesting in Hindsight's twenty twenty but
wes Clock's you know Boston Rob after that talking to
I think it was Ivar and someone else being like,
you know, what's what's the only way you can know
for certain that someone's a trader, and that is if
(03:55):
you are also a trader. Yeah, and you know that
was kind of the beginning of the downfall of Wes
and we'll get to that at some point. You know,
it's at this moment I'm surprised that Carolyn and Danielle
couldn't come together to form kind of an alliance to
get Boston Robb out because they both were very scared
(04:16):
obviously after he did what he did. But unfortunately their
relationship seems to go the exact opposite direction.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
By the way, they never wanted him in the tourret,
neither one of them. They both knew the minute he
showed up it was trouble for them. I don't think
that Bob the Drive Queen knew what trouble it was
when Boston rob walked in, but Carolyn and Danielle knew it.
But now there's a lack of trust among everybody. See,
(04:43):
once that trust is broken, it's pretty much the demise,
the beginning of the demise, just like any relationship.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Yeah, the mission's pretty interesting. I'm really good at riddles,
so I'm sad that I wasn't on the show for
when this one happens. So you guys go into the church.
I think. One of my favorite things and I'm sure
Dolris you love this, uh, is that Tom Sandoval feels
very confident in riddles because he reads Harry Potter, which
is a children's book, and that he's channeling Tom Riddle,
(05:14):
which is hilarious because that's Voldemort, who is the most
hated man in all of like.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Well, that tracks in all of the Harry Potter shots.
That was so perfect, so fitting for Tom, and he
was so proud to say it, but then he.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Got everything wrong.
Speaker 5 (05:34):
He was talking about how good he'll be at this
mission and then he got everything wrong.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
It was very satisfying.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
His harries make no sense. Gabby telling him, Tom, you
know why you're here. You're chaotic and the traders love it,
and he's like, I have some good ideas and everyone's like, no,
you don't.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
I never met someone who's so wonderful unaware of how
dislike they really are. Like he's unaffected, which is fine
whatever whatever.
Speaker 5 (06:09):
But yeah, I saw that Brabo con and I told
him and I said, so are you presenting he.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Goes, they won't have me presenting anything, and I go,
you need to rehab your image. Maybe you can adopt
some foster, some children, or some animals.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Us do that.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Do something, Tom, just do something.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
He does rescue, but he wound up getting in a
fight with his girlfriend in the hallway.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
If no one saw that. We'll talk about that later.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
Yeah, but this mission was very hard for me because me,
if someone does me a favor in the slightest thing,
I feel like I owe them my actual life, like
for the rest of my I never forget it. And
Danielle at the breakfast table when Robin was killed that morning,
I looked at Danielle and I said, I'm next.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
I know it because I was the last housewife to go.
And she made it look like she was saving.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
Me because she felt bad that I had said that
and there was a target on my back. So she
kept giving me her shields, and she kept jumping in
and she was very good at the riddles, and she
kept giving me. The first time she gave me the shield,
I was like, oh, that's nice. Still uncomfortable with it.
Don't like receiving things, but insisted on giving it to
me all the time through that, and then I felt like, shit,
(07:24):
if she gets killed tonight, I'm going to throw up.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
Yeah, but you clocked it being suspicious. At some point
she starts crying and you were like, I didn't ask
you for this, You don't you don't have don't cry,
you don't have to be doing this. And I feel
like it was the second that you said that, everyone's
mind kind of turned and was like, hold on, this
is very, very suspicious.
Speaker 4 (07:48):
I don't like criers.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
Yeah, there was one moment where everybody was crying. I
think it was at the end of the round table.
Everyone's crying except for you, Dolores. You're like, h no,
I I'm like to see she cries. They do not
want here.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
It seemed like everyone started to like, look at Danielle
a little bit differently after that from the show. Did
it feel that way in that church?
Speaker 3 (08:14):
It did, because nobody could figure out what she was doing,
but she was really I was her shield. I was
protecting her because, like I said, moving forward, like she
she's worn our kids. How can I vote for someone
who swore on their kids. I didn't know the gamer life,
did you, Tamra?
Speaker 4 (08:32):
I didn't know.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
No, Carolyn said it wasn't fair to me because Carolyn
said the other day, She's like, you don't know our life, Dolores.
You don't know that we do those things to people
that don't know better, which I didn't.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
So yeah, Danielle starts going against her own which is weird.
She's pushing the Carolyn's a trader and people are having
a hard time believing her. This is kind of when
I was like, I feel like the Traders are making
the worst moves ever when I was watching it back originally.
And then you have Krashelle thinking that Nicki's a trader
(09:08):
because of like some look she gave. But she's conflicted
because it's one of her best friends in the game.
Speaker 5 (09:13):
She was like the coffin theories, that's why she thought
she was a trader, which I think was totally ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
They're overthinking it at that point.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
And it was in that moment that when I saw
the bambies both of them turn on Nicki, I realized
that this is different life. That was the first time
because they turned on a very close friend of theirs,
and I'm like, oh, is that how we do this?
I never expected them to turn on her. I felt
(09:43):
so bad. I also voted for her.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
You didn't feel bad enough to cry? No, I didn't.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
I guess we can fast forward to it. But you know,
NICKI ends up getting voted out, even though it kind
of iver throws out Rob's kind of like trail of lie.
But Krishelle seems like she's the one who kind of
like drove the death nail and there into Nicky's coffin.
She had a great exit speech. It seemed like that
(10:13):
was a really hard one for all you faithful systomach
after you got rid of some much.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
You could tell she felt so bad.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
Well, here's the thing.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
You don't know what somebody's actually going through in their life.
And here we are, we're sitting at this roundtable, and
we're judging people by what we see their persona on.
I mean like she beats people up for a living.
She bodies lands them. She's a performer in you know,
the the WWE, and she she does.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
All this, did I say it right? WWE?
Speaker 1 (10:43):
Sounds good?
Speaker 4 (10:44):
Yeah? And so she's a performer.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
And she was very docile in the castle, and I
think she was going through a lot at home too.
She was also worried about her son and uh, you know,
people judged her by being different there, right, and and
what Wes kept coming for her, and he, of course
(11:09):
knew how to talk. He had a good argument and
she turned to him and she said, I don't know
how to speak like you, so I'm not good at
sticking up for myself. And that's why her exit speech
was I was so proud of her for that because
it was so good. She was like, don't judge people
by the way they act.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
Here after the roundtable, Chrishelle, Gabby, Sierra, they're all crying
because they made they stiffed their friend bad move and
they screwed their friend over and they were kind of
the ones who did it. And then Dylan tells Carolyn
(11:50):
that Danielle's putting their name out there. Do you guys
feel a little bad for Carolyn? I like, I did
watch it. I'm like, I feel so bad for you,
like you didn't feel bad for a Trader. It's like
this poor girl is like every single day, Danielle is
putting my name out there. And in the turret, she's
telling me that she's going to try to rehab make
(12:11):
it right.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
She's going to make it right tomorrow. I'll make it
right Tomorrow's New Day.
Speaker 4 (12:16):
Danielle was a good liar, very good liar, and I
did feel bad for.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
Carolyn when I watched it, but we didn't know where
that was going on.
Speaker 4 (12:25):
Then.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Yeah, yeah, for sure. The Traders met the turret. Carolyn
calls out Danielle for trying to get her banished. Danielle
denies it. Rob tries to remind it's not gobin. Rob
is like the level headed one in the turret. He's like, hey, guys,
we need to work together.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
On the same team. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
Yeah. Carolyn doesn't trust anyone, which I don't. I'm not surprised,
and I agree with her. And the only one that
she wants to actually murder are the two of them,
which is great television. Danielle says they're like family and
tells Carolyn she'll make things right tomorrow. It's amazing fast
(13:06):
forwarding that she does not try to make things right
at all, or at least even like pretend to do it.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
Nope, she did the same thing the next day. I
wonder how they.
Speaker 4 (13:16):
Feel about each other now.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
I think Carolyn had a lot to say to people
when she left.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
Let me tell you, Yeah, I imagine they aren't very close.
Speaker 3 (13:28):
You think I'd say yeah, and I'd like to know
how Brittany and Danielle are, But we'll get to that
down the road.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
I'm friendly with all these traders, but I was pretty
critical when we were watching the show originally that like,
I felt like they were bad traders. They were just
like constantly making bad moves. They weren't pinning things on
people to draw the eyes. They were working together, they weren't.
They were. I just feel like they were bad traders.
And they decide to kick out Bob H, which I
(14:01):
made no sense, one because I liked Bob H. But
two like I don't know who that. All it does
is put suspicion back on Boston Rob because bob Ah
was one of the people who called him out.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
Well he didn't well, bob Ah didn't love Boston Rob
like he just didn't. They didn't click personality wise. I
think at one point at the roundtable he called.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
It toxic masculinity.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
I remember he said that. But bob Ah was my confidant.
He sat next to me. Him and I were trust
we trusted each other. And when he left, I'll tell
you that knocked me for a loop because now I'm
alone there, So that really really sucked, and I think
(14:51):
the traders were voting emotionally instead of the right way
to like gameplay.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Yeah, they should have just murdered saying he's just kind
of a waste of space.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
No, murdered Sam. But then he wasn't doing anything until
the end. He kept his mouth shut until.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
Because he just was just there, He'll say, doing nothing
but taking baths and soaping his body up.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
You know, at breakfast, you know, Derek, you know it's like, hey, listen,
if Boston Rob come back, comes back in, he's definitely
a trader because they would have murdered him after what
he did to Bob a drag queen, which I think
was a really good theory.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
It was a great theory.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
I'm just amazed that Boston Rob's able to talk himself
out of all these little predicaments that he puts himself in.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
That's a gift.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
He's so so good, good at it.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
He is so good.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
He's confident in himself. He's a Boston Italian guy. Of
course he could talk his way out of thing.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
He must make a killing plain poker.
Speaker 4 (15:59):
I think it's a good part of his living.
Speaker 5 (16:01):
That's you know the trishaw on our show my season
she won. She was also like, I think, what was
it Survivor Poker player?
Speaker 4 (16:11):
Really, yeah, that's what I watch.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
The more I watch Boston Rob, the more I think
about I think, and he might not have even been
doing this consciously. This might have been a subconscious thing.
But anyone that poses a threat in terms of like
being an alpha, he goes after. And I think that
that was Bob, a drag queen, and then his now
sites are honed in on I think the other alpha
(16:37):
of the house in terms of gameplay and just maybe
like smarts and stuff is Wes. And then he is
laser focused on Wes. And it's just like I wish
I had been there to be like, it's interesting that
you're always going after the really big personalities.
Speaker 4 (16:55):
And then Derek.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
Derek was also a target because Derek and Derek knew it.
I was walking into the breakfast room and Derek goes,
I'm not making it to breakfast and I'm like, no,
don't tell me that, And he didn't. He knew, he
knew because he was calling. He said, if I get killed,
(17:17):
it's this, it's Boston Rob. I'm setting it up. I'm
letting you know.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Yeah, yeah, he was right. The mission seemed like it
was pretty fun. You guys all decided to go get
shields instead of get the gunpowder at first because everyone
is super paranoid. This is my question about that. This
is a more of a production question. Did you guys
get that done in thirty minutes or did they give
you a little extra time?
Speaker 4 (17:42):
Got it done?
Speaker 3 (17:43):
Really knew it was hard. It was so hard. I
was carrying two buckets at a time.
Speaker 4 (17:50):
We were running. It was hard. Boston. Rob was soaking wet.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
They fell into the stream and.
Speaker 4 (17:56):
It was soaking wet, cold, crazy.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
Back of the castle. A lot of stuff is happening.
I feel like they've allowed you guys to talk so
much more between the mission and the roundtable. I mean,
you've got Carolyn planting Danielle's name to get revenge. You've
got Chrishelle orning Rob that his name's being thrown out.
Danielle pretends she knows nothing about it. For you, Dolores,
(18:32):
was what was happening in that moment? Were you a
part of any of these conversations about who everyone was
thinking was a trader?
Speaker 4 (18:40):
I was, and Danielle's name didn't come up. Boston.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Rob's name was definitely getting thrown around, but he had
his zion whoever was saying it, like once Iver told
him Wes was coming for him. Wes was somebody people
really listened to. Derek also, so they were very smart.
(19:05):
Derek and West was at the helm of leading the
packs of who was really gonna go next?
Speaker 4 (19:10):
And that's why they had to go.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
Yeah. I think this was the best round table you've
had this season except for the start of it. And
I felt bad for you, Dolores, because you got once
again like stuck in the tom sand of web of idiocracy,
which is like what happened to me. I remember when
(19:34):
the night that I was gonna be banished, he wouldn't
stop talking about Chrischelle and I was like, shut up,
no one believes that Krishelle is a trader. Can we
get back to the fact one? And that's what happened
to you. And you could tell everyone in the rooms
like okay, shut up, Tom, that.
Speaker 4 (19:51):
Went on the adults time.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
Now they cut a lot of that off out, by
the way they did. They cut a lot of it out,
and I loved I won't say that I didn't get
a little bit excited when Carolyn said last week he's
a goneback. She's like, I was nice to him, and
she's like, and she always use our hands.
Speaker 4 (20:15):
I was nice to him.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
And then he turned out to be a real jerk,
And yeah, I loved.
Speaker 4 (20:19):
Her for that. I love her even more now, Carolyn.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
I think the producers did too, because there's all the
close ups of him, Tom tweaking out in the close
up shots at him eating and all that stuff. It's like,
what is going on here?
Speaker 1 (20:32):
I know he doesn't like, you know, like a dog
that doesn't think they really.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
Get a yes, like as an in a long time.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
I got to eat quickly before anyone comes in here
and tries to eat my food.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
Oh my god. Crazy.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
So this this roundtable was insane, right, So it was
Derek puts his case out for Rob. It's really well
thought out. Rob then has a really good defense and
is able to pivot and change the direction of the
energy towards Wes as being a trader. Then Wes makes
(21:13):
I think, an amazing case against Boston Rob. But he
has one slip up where he says, if you vote
for me, I'm gonna come after you, threaten people Rob.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Really lucked out. Well Rob lucked out when he said that.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
Yep, and that just changed the change the tide. But
you know, that's it's so funny because that's a part
of the show. Everyone got emotional, you know, and like
you you have to not get emotional, you have to
try to stay analytical. But the second he did that,
people are like, I don't even care if you're a trader,
f you don't threaten me. And that was.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
Death nail, That's what it was.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
He was too aggressive, he was he even all the
way down to the end.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
Yeah, he had I gotta say, I gotta say, I'm
just a fan of West because I like the challenge
and whatever. I think he's fun to watch on that show.
I do love his exit speech was like I'm.
Speaker 5 (22:17):
The best looking, I'm the smartest, I'm the best competition
reality star out there.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
So I like that. And at the end he's a
few guys.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
Yeah then just flip a bird walk on out of there.
What was the feeling like after that roundtable dories, Was
it like, Okay, obviously robbed the trader or what were
you guys thinking.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
We were just.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
At that point we were still in shock that from
his exit speech because it was so heated. We weren't
used to somebody like speaking like that.
Speaker 4 (22:52):
It was stupid.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
It's almost like he was he shouldn't have been mad
at everyone because he was his own demise. It was
almost like he felt like I could talk like this
because of who I am. But he wasn't good at
gaining the trust and charismatically Boston Rob beat him.
Speaker 4 (23:09):
You know he.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
I think what he didn't realize was he's Wes is
talking to people that aren't gamers, so he needed to
win them over in a different way, and he couldn't.
He couldn't figure out how to do that, and Rob
figured out how to do that.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
Yeah, I love Wes. And Derek basically telling Tom to
shut up his dumb theories any time goes against Tom, like.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
Just like, yes, yes, let the adults talk now, Tom,
sit down your test.
Speaker 3 (23:40):
And Derek was very frustrated with our voting, very frustrated.
They're like, we're handing this to you on a silver platter.
You don't understand. But again, I don't think they can
actually comprehend the fact that they were talking.
Speaker 4 (23:54):
To people that just didn't know how to play the game.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
But do you think that they would have voted for
Rob if Wes didn't have that stupid speech where he said,
you know, I'll go after all of you.
Speaker 4 (24:05):
It was very close. Yeah, yeah, that's what was going.
It was going towards that.
Speaker 5 (24:10):
I just don't see any way that Boston Rob survives
another Round Table.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
Well we'll see, I know.
Speaker 3 (24:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
I almost watched the next episode and I'm like, nope,
I'm gonna hold off save it. I know, because I
don't remember what happened.
Speaker 4 (24:24):
It's a good one.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
Yeah, well it ends with you know, them all meeting
the tour. It's super awkward. Obviously they're all against one another.
I mean, Danielle voted for Rob, Carolyn voted for Danielle
voted for Wes. It's amazing, like it would be so
fun to be faithful at that moment and know that
(24:45):
that's what was happening in the tour. And yeah, I
guess we'll see if they're able to mend these fences
and come together in solidarity in the turret. But I
have a feeling that they're not.
Speaker 4 (24:58):
Now here's the thing.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
The backstory on this is production loved the drama in
the roundtable.
Speaker 4 (25:05):
There was more I mean the drama in the tour.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
Production loved the drama in the tour it so much
they didn't care what happened.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
It was a good twist. It's not normally like that
on these shows.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
They didn't even care what happened at the round table.
They were more excited what was going on in the tour.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
So yep, all right, those are the two episodes that
we are recapping this week, five and six. Next week
we'll be back with seven and eights. We're coming to
a close here of this season and inching towards season
four of The Traders. It's gonna be a lot of fun.
