of By Order of the Faithfuls. I'm wells, Adams that
I'm not alongside Lauris Catanya and Tamra Judge. Unfortunately they
are off somewhere else. But fortunately for me, I'm with
two of my best friends, of whom I met on
a reality TV dating show where I got everyone drunk,
uh called Bacher and Paradise with Dean Bell and Kaylen Bell.

How are you guys good? Thanks for having us, Thanks
for having us Wells. I know this is a weird
little crossover. But are you guys watching Are you watching Traders? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Kaylen, kaylend of this newest season of Traders, and I
just was mentioning too. I think I got to go
back and watch some older seasons, but I've only been
up up to date on the fourth season so far.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
It's such a good show. I'm really tell as you
were on it.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Yeah, I wish I was on there longer. But do
we ask, Wells, who do who do you think would
be better on the Traders?
Speaker 1 (00:53):
Kaylin or me? Because we have it, we have this
debate quite often. That's a good question. You are very
unassuming and very likable. So I think you would be
a very good, faithful but maybe to a fault. No
one would ever suspect you, so they probably get rid
of you, like because there there's never any shade on you, right,

Like the traders, like people thinking that other people are
traders even when they're faithful. Dean is I think sneakier.
He could be a trader. But also I feel like
he breaks too easily, like he would laugh or something.
I don't know how. Yeah, right, I guess we will
never know because I don't lie ever. So yeah, so

Can I ask you a question? I know you're gonna
You're gonna obviously lead this whole thing. I have some
questions about this show, especially watching it for the first
time this season.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
I'm enjoying it. Yeah, it's been a very good show. Yea.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
And when we talk about who would we want to
be on it between the two of us, my my
question for you is, what is the purpose to ever
say anything at the roundtable? Because all you're seeming to do,
for my perspective is just put a target on your
back every single time. If I think Lisa is a
trader and she is a trader. I'm just not going
to say that because if I think she's a trader,
and then she's just gonna kill me the next time

she has a chance to write. So what's the incentive
to for anyone to speak up and say anything at
these roundtables?
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Well, if there is, if there is suspicion on you,
it makes sense to speak up because at least you're
going after somebody, and if you're right about that thing,
you can say, well, I'm obviously faithful because I came
after so and so and they were a trader, right,
And I think a lot of times, like for me
when it happened Bob and drag Queen came after me,

which made me defensive, and I went after Robin and
Sam in that same moment because I was like trying
to deflect. Hey, it's not me, it's you guys. And
I would say that, like one of the things that
I've started to notice with all these seasons is that
traders do initiate the conversations in the beginning. And that's
what Bob the drag Queen did. He was the one

who started off. And then also you know Boston Robb
did the exact same thing where he would start things.
So that's something that like look for look.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
But that's why Rob.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Rousch I think is such a good trader, because he's
just so under the radar.

I keep telling Deane.

He doesn't like to give rop credit, but I think
he's the best trader I've ever seen.

Are you annoyed by the way he's playing the game?

No? Yeah, because like at the end, he's either gonna
have to split the money with Lisa and Candae or
he just gets all the money himself.

So smart.

And now he gets to pick his traders, like he's
watched the show enough to know like, Okay, if I
get them out, then I get to go and choose
who's next.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
Do you think you would suspect Rob No, I don't
think I would either, would you.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
I think that he has done a really good job
with the Lisa vote.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
I think that was really good.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Yeah, and I'm sure he probably talked about it, maybe
they just didn't air it. But I think his best
defense at any point could be that he kind of
let easpearhead of the Lisa vote, and then when he's
telling Candas about why he voted for Lisa, he should
just tell her like, hey, by me doing that, it's
going to take the heat off of both of us
at the same time, because why.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Would a trader vote another trader out, especially that early on.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
And he probably did say that at some point, but
at the whole time he was explaining himself to Candace,
I was like, just say, that's why you did it,
because it's the best thing to say, in my opinion,
in that situation.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
And I think there needs to be like an unspoken
rule with the traders that if there's suspicion on one
of the traders, you can't just be like no, no, no,
and like try to deflect off of that person. Then
you kind of have to gang up on each other
in that sense.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
I mean, at this stage in this season, I feel
like it's going to be hard for Rob not to
win because he, like I said, with Lisa and Candas,
he was kind of the catalyst for a lot of
those votes in my opinion, just.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Given off of what we saw.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
So I feel like he's got a pretty good alibi
for being a.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Faithful and Eric being a trader is so good, so good.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
I'm so excited to completely unassuming people, and the turret
is fantastic. I did like the idea that like the
majority of the turret was housewives, because for so many
seasons everyone's like, well, there's got to be a housewife
up in the turret because of numbers, and it kind
of never was, and then all of a sudden this
season they did it. I mean they didn't last very long.
(05:18):
But I was wondering, if you went on the show,
what would you ask alan to be. Would you ask
to be a faithful or would you ask to be
a trader.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
I think I would have to be a faithful, but
it would be so fun to be a trader. Yeah,
I just don't know, like my ability to lie and
be like quick witted with a lie, do you know?
Speaker 2 (05:37):
I think the hardest part about being a faithful for
me and theory would be being accused of something that
I'm not. And there's no way to absolutely prove that
you're not a trader if you are faithful. That would
drive me crazy the second someone pointed a finger at
me for being a trader and not being able to
just one hundred percent tell them that I am a
faithful with one hundred percent certainty for them.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
That would drive me crazy. So for that reason alone,
i'd want to be a trader. It's interesting because the
reality shows that we come from, so much of your
character is important part of your storyline, but in this show,
your character can be completely manipulated by other people. That's
what happened to me is that Bob the Drag Queen
said like, you know, I've tried to talk to you
(06:20):
every single day and you've never tried to engage with me.
You don't want to have a relationship with me. That's weird,
And that wasn't true. I was really trying to talk
to him, like my wife was friends with Money Exchange
of whom he does the podcast with, so I was
like all these things. I was trying to relate to him,
(06:40):
and in the moment, I was like, no, I've been
trying to be your friend this entire time. And then
when it was over, I was like it was all
a lie to get me at like it didn't matter,
you know, and that sucks, and you're right.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
Like that's like next level manipulation.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Yeah, I hated that.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
And then when you're off the show, I'd imagine there's
kind of no love lost between anyone, Right, you're kind
of acknowledging that he was playing a game or a role.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
Well, not your season. People hated the Traders your season.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
I think they were bad traders my season. And that
was what got me kicked off, is I said, I
think that's a stupid move. They killed Derinda in the
first episode, when everyone that was a faithful thought that
she was a Trader and we were going to banish her.
I was like, that's dumb. Go after someone else, you know,
we're going to do the work for you. And that
was my argument and that's what ended up getting me
(07:27):
banished because I said that, which is crazy. And then
like Sam came after me for saying like it's like
I think what they're doing is smart, and I was like, no, not,
absolutely not. And then like five episodes later you see
Sam's go, you know, I don't think these Traders are
very smart. I'm glad you finally came around to it,
but I only took your five episodes.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Yeah wait, so did you did you get voted off
at the round table or did you get murdered by
the Trader round table?
Speaker 1 (07:51):
Oh that sucks. You got to watch my exit. It
is pretty good. Yeah, I get up and I do
a slow clap, you know, like like a nineties high
school movie. Are you?
Speaker 2 (08:01):
You're pretty a calm, a cool, collected guy at those
roundtable meetings, especially when you hear your name being brought
up so much, do you feel like nervous?
Speaker 1 (08:08):
Do you get nervous? And that's I was shaking. I
was so angry. Yeah, yeah, it sucks, Like I everyone
is that we have on the show is always like,
would you ever go back? I'm the one person that's like,
absolutely not, No, you wouldn't really, I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
Oh wow, yeah, not to like get kind of like
they're inted to this season, right because she got voted
off early last year. Now she's back and she's doing well.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
Yeah, well she's just under the radar.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
Yeah, I'm surprised you wouldn't go back.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
Yeah, I don't think so. Huh. It is nice though.
It's fun to go to Inverness for four days. Can
I share my experience of you going on the Traders?
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Yeah, it's one of my favorite stories I tell I
tell somewhat too often to my friends back home. I
remember because we had had a golf trip either before
or after it sometime around you going on the Traders,
and we were like maybe planning how how we were
all going to get out there all stuff, and You're like,
all right, guys, sorry, I'm like, I'm hitting my phone
over for about a month. I'll talk to you in
a month. Can't tell you where I'll be, but like,
(09:05):
just don't expect to hear from me. And then three
days later, Wellbece comes.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
Through and I was like and then I was like,
what happened? Tell me everything? And You're like, it's not
worth time. We've got every cast member from the first
(09:31):
three seasons, and I thought we could play a game
where we cast the ultimate Faithfuls and Traders season five.
Are you guys ready, Let's go through all the names,
see if you guys remember everybody, or let's just go
through like people that like stick out to us.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
Okay, here's the thing with the all cast are all
star cast? Are they choosing people who won the show?
Because I feel like if you won, you should be out,
you know, Yeah, but.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
No, you don't think they're going to get Dylan from
back on definitely having Dylan. Wow. Deontay Wilder was on
the show. Okay from season one. I think the person
that stands out to me was Ari. It was, of course,
was the Bachelor. Have you guys ever met him before?
I think I met him in passing nice guy. This
was an interesting season because half of it was civilians

are like not reality TV stars, and then reality TV stars.
This guy, Christian was a trader and he was He
played like real loose and fast. He was like kind
of too much, but he was a fun person to
see in the turret.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
I feel like Kyle Cook would be good, especially because
he's going through a divorce, so we might be a
little unhinged.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
Yeah, very true. Ryan Lockede was like kind of a big,
bumbling idiot, but it was like really fun TV.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Let me ask you this before we get into the
all star lineup, specifically, what exactly what kind of personalities
do you want to see in your traders?
Speaker 1 (10:58):
Like what makes a good trader?
Speaker 2 (10:59):
Obviously, like smart is important, like Rob is being this
year hmm, because like for I think likability. Yeah, so
much of this show is a political game, and it's
you know, it's culling votes, it's having people trust you.
And I think that's why Rob is doing a really
good job. Isn't because one he's out assuming. I think
(11:22):
a lot of people think, and he's very smart. You
can very you can tell how smart he is. I
think a lot of people think, oh, he's just a
dumb hot guy, and that's.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
Helping me playing the dumb game.
Speaker 4 (11:31):
And so I think I like the rob of it all,
and so Kevin would be a really good Trader. Kevin
was so good as a faithful in season two.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Yeah, I mean, can I tell, well, I see my
favorite character on the season.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
What has been Please don't, okay, tell me, I'll say,
I don't. I don't care.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
I think Michael Rappaport was the funniest man alive, fantastic
television maker. Yeah, every time he was on the screen,
Kalen was like talking smack about him, and I was like,
he is so funny every single time.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
I'm the dopest, most handsome, most faithful. I just Colton.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
I just found myself wanting to see more Michael Rappaport
every time I was watching Traders.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
It is, weirdly enough, it's a controversial thing to say,
because he is a very controversial person just in his
public life, but putting that aside, for someone who makes
TV and you're what he's amazing at making TV. He's
very similar to like Johnny Bananas, who unfortunately was gone

too soon in season one, where it's like they're so loud,
they're so annoying. Even Tom Sandival same thing, right, you
got to bring Tom back like just saying so much
stuff that makes no sense. You're just distracting everyone. And
in the turret or in the round table, it's it's frustrating.
Like for the Tom Sandival of it all. He would
go on these long tangents about Chrischelle where we're all like,

shut up, it's not she's not a trader, Like, stop talking.
I need to defend myself and you're taking up all
the year in the room. And that's what happened to Rapaport.
But I I agree with you, Like I loved watching
him on my TV.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
I was just like, he's just a Jew from New York.
That's that's you know, that's his New York personality coming out.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
He's grading and annoying and delusional. Yeah, amazingly delusional. Okay,
so let's go through this. Let's let's all pick just
a couple faithfuls from all four seasons, and then let's
all pick one Trader. Okay, I'm gonna start faithful. I

loved Burgie. He was such a nice guy.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
I loved him on the Island.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Yeah, I met him there because Sarah was hosting that season.
He's a nice guy. Would be a faithful yes, faithful.
He can't be a Trader. He doesn't have it in him.
Have the Traders one season yet? The first season? Hmmm?

Speaker 1 (14:05):
Of course we because he's dreamy.

No, I just think he's just so sweet. Yeah, and
maybe make him a Trader because he is so sweet.

Why would you say no? Oh? Because he wouldn't know
who the Traders were, so he had the option to stay.
I guess that makes sense.

He was like the most faithful of the faithfuls. Yeah,
and they had like a whole crew called the like
the Pilot Pete Crew or something like that. Yes, I
like Peppermint.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
Peppermint's great, all right, I loved I know that, Like
cast members couldn't stand this guy. But same thing with
like Rapaport, uh, the UK politician John who was like,
oh yeah, she's the sinister psycho or No. He had
like weird alliteration things all the time.

How about these Survivor guys, Tony and Rob?

I feel like Boston Rob definitely, Yeah, But would you
want him as a faith lord?

That's kind of just like a survivor trope, I feel
because Natalie from this season is kind of the same way.

I feel like she's getting a little too caught up
in her emotions a little bit right now. But I
feel like up until maybe the last episode, she's been
pretty pretty calculated in a good way.

I think I like Ron and I actually really like
him after following him on social.

Media Oho lunches. Yeah, I interviewed him long ago when
I was a radio host and he was the most
lovely person. I love him, and I hated how they
did him dirty on this season, like one he was
misguided and wrong about was it Portia? Yeah yeah, but

he had good evidence. It was stronger evidence than like
what Colton had on people, and he presented a good case.
He swung and missed, and I don't understand why he
got like, I don't know, vilified, and then Colton didn't
but they did the same thing.

Yeah. Yeah, I hated that, and I think he needs redemption.
Speaker 1 (16:53):
I think he's going to go to that reunion and
tear some people apart because what does he do for
a living Yeah. He talks on stage in front of
thousands and he's so and he's going to dismantle.

I think I saw in an interview recently where they
were like, do you want these people to apologize to you?
Speaker 1 (17:12):
And he's like, no, yeah, I'm gonna go at you.
Oh yeah, Like I'm sure he does roasts all the time.
This is going to be like the easiest teed up
thing in the world. From my season, I gotta be
honest with you. I loved Tom Sanderval as a viewer.
As someone who's on the season, I couldn't stand being
around him.

That's fair, That's very fair.

But he was very fun to watch.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
Yeah, I think we need all the people who make
good TV, maybe like five chaotic people.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
I also think like Johnny Bananas is so good. I
love Wes and I love CT, like I like, I think.

Wes and CT were both crazy.

some reason, I think that the Challenge guys are better
at this game than the Survivor people. I don't know

It's very interesting that people are always going after the
gamers because we can also be manipulative, like reality TV
people are so good at this game. Yeah, and but
they're always going for the gamers first.

We're threats. We are a threat.

Okay, let's pick one trader, wells Adams, I would love that.
I would love nothing but go back. If I went back,
I would beg Alan, let me be a trader.

Is it actually like they must decide all of that
for themselves, right or do you think your pitch as
a potential trader has an impact on their decision?
Speaker 1 (18:56):
I think so for sure. I mean, you have a
bunch of calls with producers is about like what you
want to do and what your idea for gameplay is,
and then when you get to the castle, you have
a meeting with Alan that they film, and he asked like,
what do you want to do in my meeting? He
was like, you know, I worked with your wife. That
that was our conversation. So I was like I guess
(19:17):
I'm not going to be a trader, but I was
just indifferent to it. But I think that like some
of the the people who like beg to be traders,
I think that can skew them over, like letting them
be traders. Interesting.
Speaker 4 (19:29):
Yeah, I kind of would love to see more Higgins
be a trader.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
Yeah, I think she'd be really good.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Here's here's the thing. I'm not a woman, but it
takes you guys a long time to get ready, right,
Like it's a whole faithful make like Dean's just not
even showering and going to the castle, so he's So
I want to talk to you about this because I
think that this is like an important thing of like
(19:58):
if you went on the show, if you would want
to be a trader. Because you film in June and
those are really long days, which means the nights are
really short because you're really far up north. I mean
this is the tip top of Scotland, so it doesn't
get dark until really late, like maybe one o'clock, two o'clock,
(20:19):
and so when you finish filming the people in the turret,
they have to wait for it to become dark, so
they don't really film until like two or three in
the morning. And I think they do it for a
couple hours and then they come back. And you always
have an early call time, right, like of eight am
call time. So think about having to go to turret.
(20:40):
It's a while before you get to go to bed,
let's say at six o'clock. Then you have to wake
up at eight, and then you have to be like
bright eyed, bushy tailed at that because everyone's looking around
being like he looks can tired.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
Whoah yeah, So okay, so you get to go to bed.
I have so many questions if you're a trader. If
you're not a trader, you get to go to bed.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
Everyone gets taken away, yeah, one by one, and so
you don't know who. Yeah, so what happens is the
traders get taken away, they get put into a car.
I think they get driven like down the road, they
pull off, they wait for everyone to leave, then they
come back.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
Oh my god. Okay, there I changed my answer.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
I like Steven, but well I want to know, like,
do you think that like you could do it, because
you wouldn't get to sleep.
Speaker 4 (21:33):
I think I need like nine hours. Yeah, yeah, definitely
not it would be good.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
Yeah, I hate sleep. Yeah, that's showering. I was okay, Hey,
well's we've kind of covered that already.

I think it would be interesting as a faithful too,
because you all kind of have the shared same experience
if you're faithful. This is kind of how your night,
your evening goes right, And I wonder I was wondering
actually the last time was watching that last episode, was
like if you could find inconsistencies with people's stories about
their previous night, you know what I mean, Like, oh, man,

going to bed at ten was so great, you know,
and then someone slips up there like, oh man, I
wish I got more sleep than I did last night.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
Like that.

I feel like, you know, not a Coulton fan, but
Colton kind of tried to do that this season. He's like, Lisa,
how does Alan look at the turret? Does he have
a new outfit?
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Yeah? Yeah, but that's like pretty obvious stuff, you know. Yeah, yeah, Okay,
I'm gonna pick my uh Trader. Yeah, I like him
sand of aal No, oh my, no one would suspect it.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
He's just so erratic, like could he put hold it together?
Speaker 1 (22:44):
I think that that is a tactic that can work
in the turret is just just all over the place.
You can't tie anything down. Is anyone gonna believe that
Tom Sannival is a Trader? That's so true, like hidden
Clayton sight kind of thing. Well, you know, during the season,
his whole thing was like, the world thinks I'm the
worst person in the world. Do you think that I
would ever agree to come on here and be a

bad person? Which I was like, that's a good argument.
I actually don't think so. But it would be great
if he came back and he was.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
He was such good TV. I've never enjoyed him on
vander Pump. I loved him on Traders. Yeah, he was
so funny.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
It's interesting too, because I feel like that revived his
career or like it brought him back, whereas this season
a lot of people are getting like a lot of
shade and it's not like the career reviver that it
was husband in the past.
Speaker 3 (23:33):
I just know of Colton. Who else Colton? I think, yeah,
that's the verat Ques.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
Yeah, but I think that he thought that too. Yeah,

totally revamped his his persona and public image and you

on the show and be this one thing, and we
would have no idea if that was truly what he
was or if he was just like being method. And

Last season was so frustrating because the Trader sucked. Yeah,
like they were not doing a good job beyond Boston Rock,
but they got them out.

Do you wish that the Traders would stop like cannibalizing themselves?
Like I feel like one of the reasons why that
they aren't winning is because they're not using their power
of numbers together, like they always start going after one another.
But if you think about it, if you have three
votes that you can turn, if you guys are all
this in lockstep, you can turn every single vote the

why Rob is so good at this because now he

obsessed with Rob. But obviously Rob really good game.

best trader I've seen thus far.

Yeah, and then Boston Rob, but he was messy.

I thought, like, I love Boston, he's a friend of mine,
He's very, very smart, But I thought he was way
too messy.

I think he has the traits to be a perfect trader,
but I don't think he came in and studied the game,
nor was there like enough shows out there to kind
of figure it out.

I feel like Rob kind of studied.

Do you think this is a show where it definitely
you benefit from knowing how the game works more? Because
sometimes I feel like I feel like a fresh perspective
or like an ignorance is blissed kind of thing might help.
But I guess in this game it might not so much.
I think it could work both ways.

Yeah, I think you can be really well studied and
it come naturally to you, and you could also be
completely oblivious, like Dolores, who's the co host of this show,
Like not that she's oblivious, but like she was just
waltzing through the show, right.

And voting for the most random people.

Yes, and also was like very likable. Yeah, and she won. Yeah,
So I think both ways can be beneficial.

I guess I just think back to like my time
on The Bachelorette. There was one guy who like studied
the show and was so into it. Yeah, that's kind
of weird. And on Survivors sometimes you see like Survivors
super fans that come on the show and maybe don't
even make it to the council or whatever. So I
was just kind of curious if that was kind of
the same case for this.

But who's played the best game as a faithful this season? Yep?

I love Eric.

I think he is such a like pure person and
the perfect faithful.

The first like two episodes of this season, I was like,
I don't think Tara has said a single word. I
have no idea who this person is, and she's finally
getting some more screen time obviously.

Yeah. Well, so you guys know, this is my big
theory on the show is that if you don't see
someone a whole lot in the first couple episodes, it's
because they end up being there at the end because
they're showing footage of people who are going to be
leaving because they want to get screen time for them.

So I was all over episodes one and two because
then I was gone, you.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
Know, yeah, I feel like most of the Faithfuls are
playing like Johnny and who's Eric right, they've been They've
been like kind of quietly confident, not like causing too
much of his story, but still like pretty spot on
with a lot of other judgments.

That's why I think Johnny's gonna go really far, because
I haven't seen a lot of him. Of for someone
who is an Olympic winning figure skater, who, like we,
has been on our teas for a long time, I'm like,
this is weird that you're not on my screen more.
I think that means you're going a long way.

Also, Mark Ballas, I don't know if he's naturally that quiet,

just was mentioning too. I think I got to go
back and watch some older seasons, but I've only been
up up to date on the fourth season so far.

It's such a good show. I'm really tell as you
were on it.

Yeah, I wish I was on there longer. But do
we ask, Wells, who do who do you think would
be better on the Traders?

Kaylin or me? Because we have it, we have this
debate quite often. That's a good question. You are very
unassuming and very likable. So I think you would be
a very good, faithful but maybe to a fault. No
one would ever suspect you, so they probably get rid
of you, like because there there's never any shade on you, right,

Like the traders, like people thinking that other people are
traders even when they're faithful. Dean is I think sneakier.
He could be a trader. But also I feel like
he breaks too easily, like he would laugh or something.
I don't know how. Yeah, right, I guess we will
never know because I don't lie ever. So yeah, so

Can I ask you a question? I know you're gonna
You're gonna obviously lead this whole thing. I have some
questions about this show, especially watching it for the first
time this season.

And when we talk about who would we want to
be on it between the two of us, my my
question for you is, what is the purpose to ever
say anything at the roundtable? Because all you're seeming to do,
for my perspective is just put a target on your
back every single time. If I think Lisa is a
trader and she is a trader. I'm just not going
to say that because if I think she's a trader,
and then she's just gonna kill me the next time

she has a chance to write. So what's the incentive
to for anyone to speak up and say anything at
these roundtables?
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Well, if there is, if there is suspicion on you,
it makes sense to speak up because at least you're
going after somebody, and if you're right about that thing,
you can say, well, I'm obviously faithful because I came
after so and so and they were a trader, right,
And I think a lot of times, like for me
when it happened Bob and drag Queen came after me,
(02:47):
which made me defensive, and I went after Robin and
Sam in that same moment because I was like trying
to deflect. Hey, it's not me, it's you guys. And
I would say that, like one of the things that
I've started to notice with all these seasons is that
traders do initiate the conversations in the beginning. And that's
what Bob the drag Queen did. He was the one
(03:08):
who started off. And then also you know Boston Robb
did the exact same thing where he would start things.
So that's something that like look for look.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
But that's why Rob.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Rousch I think is such a good trader, because he's
just so under the radar.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
I keep telling Deane.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
He doesn't like to give rop credit, but I think
he's the best trader I've ever seen.

No? Yeah, because like at the end, he's either gonna

And now he gets to pick his traders, like he's
watched the show enough to know like, Okay, if I
get them out, then I get to go and choose
who's next.

Do you think you would suspect Rob No, I don't
think I would either, would you.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
I think that he has done a really good job
with the Lisa vote.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
I think that was really good.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Yeah, and I'm sure he probably talked about it, maybe
they just didn't air it. But I think his best
defense at any point could be that he kind of
let easpearhead of the Lisa vote, and then when he's
telling Candas about why he voted for Lisa, he should
just tell her like, hey, by me doing that, it's
going to take the heat off of both of us
at the same time, because why.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Would a trader vote another trader out, especially that early on.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
And he probably did say that at some point, but
at the whole time he was explaining himself to Candace,
I was like, just say, that's why you did it,
because it's the best thing to say, in my opinion,
in that situation.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
And I think there needs to be like an unspoken
rule with the traders that if there's suspicion on one
of the traders, you can't just be like no, no, no,
and like try to deflect off of that person. Then
you kind of have to gang up on each other
in that sense.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
I mean, at this stage in this season, I feel
like it's going to be hard for Rob not to
win because he, like I said, with Lisa and Candas,
he was kind of the catalyst for a lot of
those votes in my opinion, just.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Given off of what we saw.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
So I feel like he's got a pretty good alibi
for being a.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Faithful and Eric being a trader is so good, so good.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
I'm so excited to completely unassuming people, and the turret
is fantastic. I did like the idea that like the
majority of the turret was housewives, because for so many
seasons everyone's like, well, there's got to be a housewife
up in the turret because of numbers, and it kind
of never was, and then all of a sudden this
season they did it. I mean they didn't last very long.
(05:18):
But I was wondering, if you went on the show,
what would you ask alan to be. Would you ask
to be a faithful or would you ask to be
a trader.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
I think I would have to be a faithful, but
it would be so fun to be a trader. Yeah,
I just don't know, like my ability to lie and
be like quick witted with a lie, do you know?
Speaker 2 (05:37):
I think the hardest part about being a faithful for
me and theory would be being accused of something that
I'm not. And there's no way to absolutely prove that
you're not a trader if you are faithful. That would
drive me crazy the second someone pointed a finger at
me for being a trader and not being able to
just one hundred percent tell them that I am a
faithful with one hundred percent certainty for them.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
That would drive me crazy. So for that reason alone,
i'd want to be a trader. It's interesting because the
reality shows that we come from, so much of your
character is important part of your storyline, but in this show,
your character can be completely manipulated by other people. That's
what happened to me is that Bob the Drag Queen
said like, you know, I've tried to talk to you
(06:20):
every single day and you've never tried to engage with me.
You don't want to have a relationship with me. That's weird,
And that wasn't true. I was really trying to talk
to him, like my wife was friends with Money Exchange
of whom he does the podcast with, so I was
like all these things. I was trying to relate to him,
(06:40):
and in the moment, I was like, no, I've been
trying to be your friend this entire time. And then
when it was over, I was like it was all
a lie to get me at like it didn't matter,
you know, and that sucks, and you're right.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
Like that's like next level manipulation.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Yeah, I hated that.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
And then when you're off the show, I'd imagine there's
kind of no love lost between anyone, Right, you're kind
of acknowledging that he was playing a game or a role.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
Well, not your season. People hated the Traders your season.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
I think they were bad traders my season. And that
was what got me kicked off, is I said, I
think that's a stupid move. They killed Derinda in the
first episode, when everyone that was a faithful thought that
she was a Trader and we were going to banish her.
I was like, that's dumb. Go after someone else, you know,
we're going to do the work for you. And that
was my argument and that's what ended up getting me
(07:27):
banished because I said that, which is crazy. And then
like Sam came after me for saying like it's like
I think what they're doing is smart, and I was like, no, not,
absolutely not. And then like five episodes later you see
Sam's go, you know, I don't think these Traders are
very smart. I'm glad you finally came around to it,
but I only took your five episodes.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Yeah wait, so did you did you get voted off
at the round table or did you get murdered by
the Trader round table?
Speaker 1 (07:51):
Oh that sucks. You got to watch my exit. It
is pretty good. Yeah, I get up and I do
a slow clap, you know, like like a nineties high
school movie. Are you?
Speaker 2 (08:01):
You're pretty a calm, a cool, collected guy at those
roundtable meetings, especially when you hear your name being brought
up so much, do you feel like nervous?
Speaker 1 (08:08):
Do you get nervous? And that's I was shaking. I
was so angry. Yeah, yeah, it sucks, Like I everyone
is that we have on the show is always like,
would you ever go back? I'm the one person that's like,
absolutely not, No, you wouldn't really, I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
Oh wow, yeah, not to like get kind of like
they're inted to this season, right because she got voted
off early last year. Now she's back and she's doing well.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
Yeah, well she's just under the radar.

Yeah, I'm surprised you wouldn't go back.

Yeah, I don't think so. Huh. It is nice though.
It's fun to go to Inverness for four days. Can
I share my experience of you going on the Traders?
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Yeah, it's one of my favorite stories I tell I
tell somewhat too often to my friends back home. I
remember because we had had a golf trip either before
or after it sometime around you going on the Traders,
and we were like maybe planning how how we were
all going to get out there all stuff, and You're like,

the show. Okay from season one. I think the person
that stands out to me was Ari. It was, of course,

I think I met him in passing nice guy. This
was an interesting season because half of it was civilians

are like not reality TV stars, and then reality TV stars.
This guy, Christian was a trader and he was He
played like real loose and fast. He was like kind
of too much, but he was a fun person to
see in the turret.

I feel like Kyle Cook would be good, especially because
he's going through a divorce, so we might be a
little unhinged.

bumbling idiot, but it was like really fun TV.

all star lineup, specifically, what exactly what kind of personalities
do you want to see in your traders?

Like what makes a good trader?

Obviously, like smart is important, like Rob is being this
year hmm, because like for I think likability. Yeah, so
much of this show is a political game, and it's
you know, it's culling votes, it's having people trust you.
And I think that's why Rob is doing a really
good job. Isn't because one he's out assuming. I think

a lot of people think, and he's very smart. You
can very you can tell how smart he is. I
think a lot of people think, oh, he's just a
dumb hot guy, and that's.

and so Kevin would be a really good Trader. Kevin
was so good as a faithful in season two.

I just found myself wanting to see more Michael Rappaport
every time I was watching Traders.

TV and you're what he's amazing at making TV. He's
very similar to like Johnny Bananas, who unfortunately was gone

too soon in season one, where it's like they're so loud,
they're so annoying. Even Tom Sandival same thing, right, you
got to bring Tom back like just saying so much
stuff that makes no sense. You're just distracting everyone. And
in the turret or in the round table, it's it's frustrating.
Like for the Tom Sandival of it all. He would
go on these long tangents about Chrischelle where we're all like,

I need to defend myself and you're taking up all
the year in the room. And that's what happened to Rapaport.
But I I agree with you, Like I loved watching
him on my TV.

what Colton had on people, and he presented a good case.
He swung and missed, and I don't understand why he
got like, I don't know, vilified, and then Colton didn't

I think he's going to go to that reunion and

As someone who's on the season, I couldn't stand being
around him.

bunch of calls with producers is about like what you
want to do and what your idea for gameplay is,
and then when you get to the castle, you have
a meeting with Alan that they film, and he asked like,
what do you want to do in my meeting? He
was like, you know, I worked with your wife. That
that was our conversation. So I was like I guess

I'm not going to be a trader, but I was
just indifferent to it. But I think that like some
of the the people who like beg to be traders,
I think that can skew them over, like letting them

Here's here's the thing. I'm not a woman, but it
takes you guys a long time to get ready, right,
Like it's a whole faithful make like Dean's just not
even showering and going to the castle, so he's So

think that this is like an important thing of like

if you went on the show, if you would want
to be a trader. Because you film in June and
those are really long days, which means the nights are
really short because you're really far up north. I mean
this is the tip top of Scotland, so it doesn't
get dark until really late, like maybe one o'clock, two o'clock,

and so when you finish filming the people in the turret,
they have to wait for it to become dark, so
they don't really film until like two or three in
the morning. And I think they do it for a
couple hours and then they come back. And you always
have an early call time, right, like of eight am
call time. So think about having to go to turret.

It's a while before you get to go to bed,
let's say at six o'clock. Then you have to wake
up at eight, and then you have to be like
bright eyed, bushy tailed at that because everyone's looking around
being like he looks can tired.

I have so many questions if you're a trader. If
you're not a trader, you get to go to bed.

Everyone gets taken away, yeah, one by one, and so
you don't know who. Yeah, so what happens is the
traders get taken away, they get put into a car.
I think they get driven like down the road, they
pull off, they wait for everyone to leave, then they
come back.

worst person in the world. Do you think that I

but they got them out.

it come naturally to you, and you could also be

of weird. And on Survivors sometimes you see like Survivors
super fans that come on the show and maybe don't

was just kind of curious if that was kind of
the same case for this.

But who's played the best game as a faithful this season? Yep?

I think he is such a like pure person and
the perfect faithful.

I've enjoyed Kristen.

I think, oh, she's also really good, yes, but the
faithful Wait, Tara and Johnny.
Speaker 3 (33:26):
The fact that nobody knows their friends still is the
craziest thing to me.
Speaker 1 (33:29):
Yeah.

The first like two episodes of this season, I was like,
I don't think Tara has said a single word. I
have no idea who this person is, and she's finally
getting some more screen time obviously.
Speaker 1 (33:37):
Yeah. Well, so you guys know, this is my big
theory on the show is that if you don't see
someone a whole lot in the first couple episodes, it's
because they end up being there at the end because
they're showing footage of people who are going to be
leaving because they want to get screen time for them.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
Right, that makes sense.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
So I was all over episodes one and two because
then I was gone, you.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
Know, yeah, I feel like most of the Faithfuls are
playing like Johnny and who's Eric right, they've been They've
been like kind of quietly confident, not like causing too
much of his story, but still like pretty spot on
with a lot of other judgments.
Speaker 1 (34:12):
That's why I think Johnny's gonna go really far, because
I haven't seen a lot of him. Of for someone
who is an Olympic winning figure skater, who, like we,
has been on our teas for a long time, I'm like,
this is weird that you're not on my screen more.
I think that means you're going a long way.
Speaker 3 (34:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (34:29):
Also, Mark Ballas, I don't know if he's naturally that quiet,
but he has also said like two words, which one
is that.
Speaker 3 (34:35):
He's the Dancing with the Stars long hair.
Speaker 1 (34:37):
I agree with that one hundred percent. I love Maura
one as a person, but also like rate TV so funny.
Hasn't really gotten a lot of screen time. I just
read the phone book to me.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
Yes when she speaks.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
Yeah, wait, who's that Moura Higgins, she's from Love Island.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
She's oh yeah, it looks like I was kind of
hoping that at all. This probably would have been a
bad idea, but I I was kind of hoping that
Rob would have her be a trader with them, because
I feel like they'd be funny to watch.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
Definitely a show man's going on.
Speaker 3 (35:05):
Oh yeah, they've alluded to it in like every present
of you.
Speaker 4 (35:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (35:09):
I think they just playing into it a little bit.
But I just think it would be fun to watch
them in the turret together.

started like doing impersonations of him. Was like he always
he says dollars weird, like dollar, you know. Yeah, that

was good and I really wanted to be like an
interview being like twenty thousand dollar.

Every time every time he says murder, I look at
he gets annoyed.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
He's also like We've now been around a done enough
reality TV shows and been around a bunch of different hosts,
and this is no shade to all the other hosts
that I've worked with, but that guy, oh he commits
is good. Yeah, he's good. And he also like remember
when doing the Bacheler like was Harrison. Harrison was here,
Like he would hit marks, he would say his line,
(36:45):
but then he'd be like, let me do let me take
it again, and then he would do it again. This
guy is like he's doing Shakespeare in front of us
and then like is gone. Yeah. And I don't think
he's I think he's got an ear in, but I
don't think they're telling him anything. I think he just
gets a script.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
And he is definitely a top tier host from the
shows that I've seen, at least. He's so good at
it and kind of to your point too. It's like
the Costanza you leave on a high note, right. He
knows when to exit every single time, and that's impressive.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
