Speaker 1 (00:01):
Wine Down with Janet Kramer and iHeartRadio podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
New Week, New Season, Sunday New episodes. Hey girls come into.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Line on the Sabbath.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
I love that we're on a Sunday, Yeah, because I
think Sundays for moms, right, you know, do.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
They have more time to listen on Sundays or do
they not?
Speaker 2 (00:25):
I want to believe that. Yeah, I believe that we
might take a minute for ourselves on a Sunday. I
think we spend a lot of time with people in bathtubs,
which I think is pretty cute and not weird at all.
And I think we spend a lot of time on
walk So I like the fact that that could be
Sunday evening or bright and early Monday morning. Either way,
it's available. Yeah, it's funny. You know we were at
(00:46):
the lake with so Troy's in town, my stepson. I
didn't know by the way, Yeah, I didn't know by
the way.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
Way, want to know, did you not know by the way, Jenna, if.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
He didn't know what the britches He's in town with
his girlfriend and we all went to the lake and
it was funny just to speak on this is because
when Roman went down for his nap. He so Alan
came to me a couple like a couple of hours later,
he goes, this is funny. Guess what Troy said. He goes,
(01:25):
you guys are right, and I was like, yeah, why
He's like, oh, you know, Chris, the last two hours,
you guys really haven't said much, you know, because they
like something was wrong. He's like, oh no. The second
we put Roman down, we just are like mute, you
know in the car or here no, like at the
lake a lake. Yeah, like it's just like we go
mute because and not. And I'm like, oh wow, go
(01:47):
guys ship. So everything was totally finest. I grabbed my
Emily gift and book that I just got and because
it's like the the two hours to just.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
Like a race against the clock. Yeah for that now
that's all I remember.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
You know mine's given up by the way.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
Oh the third one in the last nap.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
But I still push to at least I tried. I
tried quiet I I don't. I mean, We're just it
is what it is. I'm at a level of acceptance.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
At first.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
I went through like the well, she might be giving
she's trying to give up the nap because I was
trying to not let her give up the nap, but
she's such a dream sleeper that I'm like, fine, go
to bed early and she sleeps like a teenager, so
I'll take it. Oh that's great, but it's not. But
I miss just even one less input.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Yeah, could she do like a show for like thirty
minutes or an hour so it's like rest time. I
remember doing that with one of them that cut it
out early. I think I had to cut Emmy's early
because if she naps, she would laugh too long and
then she wouldn't go to bed till really late. So
we would do like an like hour show, like you
have to lay down for this hour because I have
to sit down there.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
We do rest time at me Yeah yeah, yeah, ladies,
you need this on your Sunday.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Gets. Sometimes it's just it's good to hear other people's ship.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Which I have a topic.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Oh no, And for those of y'all are there just listening,
Jana's eyes went directly to KB.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
Not KB.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Friendly fire has been detected, Creamer, what do you have?
I just have a topic that I think my boy
is a good topic to talk about. You know what means?
Going down?
Speaker 3 (03:32):
I'm so nervous.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
But let me just rewind a bit, can rewind the tape.
I want to preface preface that when we bring things
up for conversation, just like my friendly neighbor, it's just
a conversation because it's a good conversation. We love the neighbor,
I love you, I love things we talk about. Boy,
So we're just going to start with that.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
Okay, that is a real disclaimer from the beginning. But
I'm really nervous.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Kay is so thankful. This is not about but the
moment it happened.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
She's looking at me.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
It can turn, but the moment it happened. I wrote
it in my phone, and I thought this is going
to be a good topic to bring to the discussion
and to bring Cat in because she wasn't there.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
No, Okay, okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
So it is Lion's birthday party. Yeah, okay, I love you.
By the way, this is all the games. This is
like a sis. I'm doing great. I'm having a great
day actually, so that she doesn't keep breathing. Yeah, I
don't get I just don't know where we're headed. I'm
cycling through all the things and all this you feel, Okay,
So I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. Okay, Okay,
(04:41):
So pull up to your house. Okay, I see a
sign at the door, and I see about like thirty
pairs of shoes yep, up front, and it says, please
take your shoes off. We have little What is it. Yeah,
it's like keats. It says like little touched the floor,
Please leave your shoes at the door or something. Yeah. Okay.
So I'm like, there's a skit, this Sebastian Maniscalco skit.
(05:04):
I know I always reference him, but I just love
him so much, and he's just like I'm a grown man.
I don't want to talk to Bob and socks, you
know what I mean, like, oh, having adult conversations whatever. Well,
I'm also like, oh, my feet look kind of gross
right now. I feel this way about podcasting. I don't
have a pedicurea at the moment. Like it's not cute.
I mean I do, but it's like not great. And
I can usually hide them in my slides, you know.
And so I'm like, I have to now take off
(05:25):
my sand bals. So I'm staring at the side and
I'm like, I wonder if I can just wear my
but I was like, I can't be that. I can't
do it. You could have an excit. I walked in
and everybody was wearing them, right, so but then I'm
walking in and it's just like it's that uncomfortable. I
don't know, it's all sun on a war shoes. Okay,
well I'll let me just say this. So did your
husband He was the only one wearing shoes. And I'm like,
(05:47):
let me tell you, Mike, he also has indoor shoes. No,
those were not indoor shoes. No, he has like a
pair that he washes off the bottom and he wears.
Isn't All I have to say is by the end
of it, mind you and again I love you so much.
I'm having this conversation, but I'm literally walking over pretzels.
So now I'm wiping off the.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Bottom of my feet.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Were the pretzels? Yes, I was there for the competitive
so sticking to your pretzels crumbs underneath my feet and
I'm trying to like have a conversation, but yeah, like
wiping the pretzel as I'm stomping over and like my
biggest thing in my house is like why I wear
like my indoor I like do not like stepping on
crumbs on the floor, like I will immediately get my
(06:29):
vacuumunt Like it's just like, I don't know, it just
gives me the he by gps for some reason. Like
and I know they're just pretzels, it's fine, but it's
the fact that I'm like, my my dirty feet are
now having like the pretzels, and I'm like wiping off
the pretzels from the feet. And then I see your
husband come in with these like big old boots, and
I'm like, I can promise you my feet are cleaner
than his man shoes. So I'm just gott in a
(06:50):
conversation of like making people take off their shoes at
their door. So what's wild is this is really fun
and this is a fun tip if you're a germophobe
and you okay, So I feel like a lot of
people don't read signs at the door. So there's actually
a decoy pair of shoes that stay out all of
the time, so they are no ones. They were ordered
specifically to stay at the door by the sign stop it,
(07:10):
so it signals you to take your shoes off.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Wow, that's another level.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
There's special shoes, shoes ordered them for this they're just
no one's and they sit outside they're getting off, you'd
notice them. Okay, keep going, unlock another layer in my brain.
So I didn't tell anyone to take the shoes off,
but the decoy shoes are doing with the decoy shoes
(07:39):
do best.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
But isn't there a sign?
Speaker 2 (07:41):
There's a t it's teeny, but it's by the shoes,
so you wouldn't see the sign, but you'd definitely.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
Be like, oh, shoes, yeah, you know. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
So I think it started when people started coming in
and they were just taking their shoes off. I'm honestly,
at parties know that will be a thing, like people
leave shoes on. It's fine, But I didn't think. I thought, well,
this is so sweet because so many had taken them
off that I wasn't gonna like, I have a pound
of pretzel, so underfeath that was a deconstructed snowman. Anyways,
(08:11):
I'm crying, would you do you like that when people
have you take your shoes off?
Speaker 3 (08:15):
We already know the answer to that. First of all,
does that mean we don't have to take our shoes
off in here?
Speaker 2 (08:20):
I never want you guys do your shoes.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
Never said it.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
I thought about this one day because she never You
know what I thought about it is when we had
Savannah over here, I was like, I really don't want
to not have shoes on with like a guest in
here with like my big old feet, you know whatever.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
But like with the girls, it's like us, right, so
I can't them on.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
But there literally walking in was like, was did we
just like understand? Like was it just understood? You took
your shoes? Like I never knew if we had to take.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
Our shoes off in your house, I can always keep
your shoes on, and I know people will say that's
gross and the germs, so like, typically I will take
my shoes off, so okay, Hardwoods, I have my shoes up.
But like when I go and hang out in my
kids rooms carpet, the shoes are off. Like I don't
like the kids don't have their shoes on. Yeah, I
don't like the kids having their shoes because it's they're
just whatever. But like, and I usually wear my slippers,
(09:06):
but I would never ask. But also, no, you're not
going to go hang out in the kids room, right,
but in the main common area, yeah, the guests can
keep their shoes yeh.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Yeah, So we obviously don't give two craps about shoes
coming off in our house. We're not germ fobes at all.
We're the opposite of that. But I did just see
doctor Palm is it POMPEII, Pompeo, Pompeo. I believe Jess
posted something about this because he's, you know, please obviously
taking take your shoes off. But he was like, but
at parties, who wants to take their shoes on?
Speaker 2 (09:35):
They don't.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
So they ordered the comb.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Out that they put at the front door that everyone
can go to and like clean their shoes and then
walk into the party.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
Well you've seen them.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
There's like but also, why can't you just wash on
the floor after the party?
Speaker 3 (09:48):
Yeah, sorry, no we can.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
But also there's rugs, So then I'm like, am I
going to clean the rugs? And also I'm like people
like walk through they stop and get gas on the
way there, or they're like, i'd rather hands hands, tie
your hands when you come in, Like to me, that
is that's going to spread more germs sure than your shoes.
Speaker 3 (10:05):
I just don't think about this as a shirt or.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Knob and touch your counters.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
You do it just fine. And I don't think about
any of that.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Yeah, I'm definitely the shoes thing is hard for me,
But I honestly, at parties, in my brain just knows
they're going to come in, and that's fine. I mean
that's kind of awkward at parties to be like. I
also people you don't know to you feel like I
don't want to see it.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
So I don't want to see everything, like keep your
shoes on. Please just keep your shoes.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
I know Alan was there, he would have been I'm
not taking my shoes off. Yeah, well no, and when
we've come to your house before.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
Yeah, yea.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
Yeah. I just feel like mostly mostly like I also
am such an outfit person, Like the shoe is usually
it for me. Yeah, I don't want to.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
Have to like it off. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Like I remember texting you when we did her fortieth
and I was like, wait, so are we taking We're
keeping shoes on? Right?
Speaker 3 (10:54):
He was asked about because the shoes were.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
Going to make the outfit and I was like, well,
I gotta know I'm going to have to do something
else or paint a toe. I don't know. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
I have to say I'm relieved that this was the topic.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Do you have no idea how relieved I am because
I didn't know what was coming at me. I still
haven't pretzels.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
Sorry, But on the other side, that wouldn't bother you
know what I'm saying, Like.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
I just don't pretzels on your feet.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
It wouldn't but I think that's just be I mean,
it would be uncomfortable and I'd be like, oh, I
need to get them off my feet. Like yeah, I
guess I just don't think beyond that. Like I'm not
saying I'm right. Obviously I'm not right because I'm the
one getting the most germs.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
I just don't think beyond that. Like I don't go to.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Ooh who pumped their gas before? Like my brain just doesn't.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
I think I have a husband that comes off the road,
so my brain shoes is like.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
We're I'm sure they're just cruck stops.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Or like I just don't think of to John's or
like I just am like I just need everything off.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
See now, because you're like think about them going and
porta John's before they come to your house.
Speaker 3 (11:50):
Yeah, I just choose not to.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Like listen, I saw one dog poop on the floor
at BNA, and I will never let my kids play
on the floor a BNA. Again, I will say whenever
they when they know we go through TSA. But if
my shoes come off and they have to like that
is on walking.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
I don't like that.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
I'm walking like not my whole side with my feet
because it's so like I don't like that.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Yeah, and I do think about that when I even
though we're ts A, I do think about that with
how I don't wear usually open sandals because that does
gross me out.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
But I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Yeah, well, and then this is a topic on the
plane too, like that. You know, I don't want to
see your feet.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
I just don't want to see you.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
I don't unless they're a cute little baby feet. I
don't want to see him. And I just want to Yeah,
let's just keep everything nice and under round eat them.
I'm really sorry about your pretzel foot and I love
you and you're a good sport. Thanks, you're a really
good sports So.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
Did you keep them off?
Speaker 2 (12:46):
I kept them off? Okay, I sat for most of it.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
I just thought that there was pretzels on your floor,
because when does that ever happen.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
At your house? Probably?
Speaker 2 (12:59):
I was like, shoes really good for you.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Yeah, I'm glad that you can't do that. I thought
that when you posted it.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
I do it every birthday because well, she was a
little worried because she's like, shoot cat, but she's like,
I know, we don't like.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
She's a cat. Actually, yeah, I mean it's I totally
appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
Yeah. I was also like, we're at the weird like
she's three. She did totally need a party. But then
I was going to pay for Elsa and Anna. We
really go through it at our house because I said, Lyon,
what do you want to do for your you know,
like we were just chatting with her, and she said, Elsa, Anna,
I'm my home.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
And so then I.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
Said, you know, we did that for a love but
she was four, which is only a year. But you know,
there's such a difference, and I'm like, this is going
to be ridiculous. It's going to cost a fortune. But
then I always think back to I go to these
this couple every single time, and this is maybe catastrophic
and ridiculous, but Amber and Granger Smith are always in
the back of my brain and I think what they
wouldn't give to have another birthday was sweet River and
(13:53):
what they wouldn't pay to make his dreams come true.
Oh and so I was like, you know what Elsa
and Non it is, and we will just figure this out.
So then once I've had Elsa and Anna coming, I'm like, well,
this is awkward because they're used to singing for birthday
parties for little girls and now it's just it's.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
A birthday party in her living room.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
I'm like trying to write to the fairy tale people
and like, really, it's just like a meet and greet,
like you don't really. But then Love was like, well
I'll help participate, you know. And I thought it was sweet,
so so sweet. It looked cute. It was just precious.
And I mean she's still every day Elsa.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
Three, that's just crazy, weird. They're getting so big.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
It's weird, and it's fast and it's.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
So fast, especially that third one man no naps.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
Three Elsa Anna and getting a little bossy. She's get
a little bossy, Oh little bossy, starting to I can
tell she's really coming into herself. That's a three for you.
I have a three major. They say, mm hmm hmm.
(14:58):
What's your whine about it? Kramer? Well, that was the
time I whined about it, but I just started to
get sad because I was thinking about, so my kids
are at the beach, so I had to do like
the switch. And this is the only, like I summer schedules.
We we're supposed to do week on, week off, but
because work and stuff and just makes it easier, we've
(15:18):
kind of split things up. So we've done a really
good job of splitting that. But for some reason, this
week is always the hardest one for me because it's
they started this trip. We were supposed to do our
first one during COVID before COVID, and COVID took it away.
So because his family, you know, that was like their idea,
like let's all do a family vacation every single summer,
(15:39):
and it was supposed to start that year, but then
COVID hit, so we had to cancel it. So then
the next year they went was the year I got divorced.
And so for some reason, this like this beach trip
has always been like the signal of oh, shoot, no,
it's okay. It was like my first time not having
like memories with my kids, you know, like uh, and again,
(16:02):
I know it's so great for him to have memories
like I understand, and it's I love, like I love
hearing all about their trip and they call me and
you know, it's like they have so much fun with
their cousins. But for some reason, this one stings. I
think it was just because I never got to like
experience the beach trip with them, but like it just
(16:22):
signifies like, well, that was the year that like we
got divorced, which again, so happy, everybody's happy. I'm like incredible.
It's just like the fact that like, you know, I
have to miss like these like core memories that like
my kids make. And that's the part where it always
just makes me sad, as like the co parent side
of things, because we're not supposed to miss these core memories,
(16:43):
you know, like at this age.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
But well, I can imagine anytime they go on vacation,
I know.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
That would only worry.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
That would yeah, very hard.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Not because you're not okay with where it's at now
or where it's been, you know, all those things, but
to just miss out, I mean that would be hard.
Like I love vacations, that would be very hard. And
there have even been even in our home, there have
been times where Nick has gone on something like he
just took them for some reason, and I still think
about that and I'm like, oh, they have memories from
that and I don't, you know, and like so even
(17:17):
that little that's nowhere near, I can totally understand how
it would just feel like you're missing out.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
So I get that.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
Yeah, So it's been like the right before, it's like, okay,
did we do enough?
Speaker 3 (17:25):
Did they have fun?
Speaker 2 (17:26):
Right before they left? And like I want to spend
time with them, and like right, you know, it's because
I start to like this switch is like the hardest
one for me in the summer, you know well, and
I feel like the beach it was kind of like
soon coming off of divorce too. Yeah, so it was
like it's a little bit of a calendar lineman line
land mine. Anyways. Yeah, because I remember seeing the first
(17:48):
Facebook picture from the trip and I was like, I'm
supposed to be there, like we planned this as a family,
that's right, And then I didn't get to go. I
was the one that was ousted because of his decision. Again,
that's what comes up, Like course, of course, so happy now, right,
but like they're little I'll never forget the like Facebook
memory burned in my brain was I'm just holding their
(18:09):
little ice cream cones and like I should be there
with them, you know, and it wasn't your fault, Yeah
that you want. Yeah, so it's just a lot. Yeah,
So this one's always like a tough switch, but switch.
You know, I'm so excited for them, and i know
they're just going to have the best beach week ever
and then you know, then they come back. But yeah,
that's why because I'm like, I'm normally like not okay, obviously,
(18:31):
but I'm normally it's fine, but yeah, this one is. Yeah,
I think it's also you know, it's like Preston goes
through this a bit too, So i'd imagine that people,
even if you're not co parenting, if you have a
traveling parent, like he feels this way a lot, Like,
especially recently, it's really been bothering him. He's like I'm
missing everything because I send him the pictures all day long,
and I like we FaceTime and you know, it's like
(18:52):
lying got new goggles and so she wanted to FaceTime,
which is the cutest face time. But it's also like
he wasn't there, you know, Like I just I think
people can relate to it on a lot of levels. Absolutely,
I just can't imagine not I just can't imagine it.
Like I will forever say that you're my hero that
you can even do it because I can't. I don't know,
I wouldn't be able to do it. Well again, I mean,
(19:12):
I think it's a lot of people are in the
situation co parenting, and it's like I have to just
go back to like they're making great memories and it's
okay with their Dade. Yeah yeah, and like they're his
family and they have the best time and I can't
wait to hear all the stories and it's still hard
even years removed.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
Yeah, both can be true.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
Yeah, that's gonna be very happy for them and want
them to have that experience and you'd rather them have
it than not have it.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Yeah, but and yes, you.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
Can feel that way.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
Well, my wine about it was going to be something different,
but that was it. So I'll save my other one
because I was just kind of feeling that and I
was like, I'm just gonna because I've been internally thinking
all that. Yeah, it's so relatable when you feel that way.
How does it come up? Like We've been doing a
lot of talking in our house recently, like things, I'll
(19:59):
act a certain way, but it's not about what. I
don't even know if I'm phrasing this correctly, Like how
do you how does it metabolize for you? So like
if I have been like having something in the back
of my brain for the last couple of weeks, I
get really I shut down, so I just become like
unavailable and in my own little world impressed and I'll
(20:22):
be like really feel like.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
You're far away? So how does it work?
Speaker 2 (20:26):
How does that feel for same? Yeah? Yeah, so that's
also just tricky, quiet, irritable mm hmm. Yeah. Yeah, it's
always like I mean even we talk about this with
the kids all the time. Like there was one day
recently where Legend was like losing it, like he really
lost it, and he's actually been pretty like even lately.
And I just came in and I said, buddy, this
is just not you. And I know that's not you,
(20:48):
so like tell me, tell me more of what's happening
in your heart. And he just wept and was like
I missed my Dada. And I was like, there it is, buddy,
Like you just got to get to the bottom of it,
you know.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
I was actually was a little blown away because I
thought he would. You know, he's pretty, he's such a
good dude, but he's he's still a little brother, like
he's still like to throw shade where heke in it's
love's fault or you know, just for him to be
that honest. I mean, I just scooped him because I
and I'll probably never forget that moment. So I thought, well,
that is like the most honest and in tune with
yourself response.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
It's hard for a lot of us, and it's definitely
a lot of kids to know exactly why.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
I mean, I spent a lot of the time being like,
what's wrong? Why are you cranky? Why are you this?
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Why are that?
Speaker 3 (21:29):
And they don't usually know.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Don't you know, sometimes for myself right for exactly to
do it.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
Yeah, yeah, it's so good for him.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
Yeah, Tyler Brodsky, Do you guys see this video from
Jancy so He it's a viral bathroom video. Basically, he
(21:57):
went viral for trying to help his young girls in
a gast bathroom when another dude lost his mind and
called the freaking cops. And now the dad's hoping the
ridiculous situation starts a larger conversation. Here's the deal. Tyler
started filming an irate customer when the man confronted him
in an Alabama Quick Trip gas station because the dude's
wife needed to use the bathroom and he was livid
(22:17):
when she told him a man was in the lady's room.
Tyler tells TMZ he shocked the video went viral, but
the situation is one many solo girl dads find themselves
in when the little ladies need to do their business.
And he makes it clear to us the bathroom was
empty when the three went in, So what the He says.
The point of the video was to call out the
man's aggression and also show how well the store manager
(22:39):
handled the situation. But now the club has gone viral.
Says he hopes people will just leave his confront her alone,
adding he doesn't want the dude to be harassed or threatened.
What do you guys think of the situation? Man?
Speaker 1 (22:51):
I can remember when Nick used to take the girls out,
how he would avoid taking them to the bathroom. I
can remember that coming up sometimes and he's like, women'soms
are just so gross, and so I was thinking about
that when I was reading that. You know that is
gross and walking in like with men at the urinals,
you know, and like stuff like that. It's funny because
(23:12):
we're pretty much removed from that. I mean at this point,
if Nick's taking just Ramsey, you know, he'll stand outs
that she'll go in and.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
Come out, you know. But I mean more power to them.
I mean there was no women in the restroom.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
Yeah, I just think that they should go in either
honestly with nobody in personally, if it's doable, like if
you're at a gas station and like no men are
in the men's restroom or no women are in the women's,
than either one.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
I I feel like I prefer the girl the women's restroom, though,
like if I would, I would around to bring the
girl the girls like into the women's because I'm like
it just in case if the man like walked in
right right.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
Well, I mean I would think someone would need to, like, yeah,
be made. But I mean generally, I think Nick always
took them into the men's. I don't think he ever
went into.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
Women's, but I'm not against it.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
I think that's great that he did, but I highly
doubt he like waited and went into a woman's restroom.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Yeah. I also It was interesting to see this because
I just recently had a moment where I thought Leggie's
legend's huge right now, Like he's as tall as Love.
I mean they're within like a half inch of each other,
and he outweighs her. So he's presenting big, especially for
our teacup yorkey little family. And I took him in
with me to go to the bathroom the other day
and he's used to going in when he's with Dad.
(24:27):
I obviously goes to the men's rest, so Jace won't
come in with me anymore. So I don't know what
to do about because it was just him and I
and I was like, well, I'm not sending you in
there by yourself. Yeah. He got really upset with me
last time I stopped at Bucky's and he's like, mom no,
And I was like, well, I'm not letting you go
by yourself. I was like, I want someone to at
least stand outside way for you. So I was like,
go with Alan because he was grabbing some snacks or whatever.
(24:49):
I was like, let me go to the bathroom really
fast and then I will meet you on the outside
of it if you don't want to go in the women's. Yeah,
Leggie got a little bit opinionated about it. He was like, mom,
I can. I said, I know you can, buddy. And
then I'm also like, I don't want to tell you
all the reasons I don't want you in a men's
bathroom alone. Yeah, but I don't want you to and
also I want to respect the fact that this feels
weird to you, because it probably feel a little odd to.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
Kaduen was the same way pretty early on. He was
not wanting to go in the women's restroom. And I
think there's something you have to listen to there too,
because it's a comfortable being in.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
Yeah. So this was the like the third time I
was like, okay, it's tray for voicing that. Yeah, go
find out and really yeah. And then so now he
usually just goes with Alan into the into the bathroom. Yeah,
there's times where we're like, they're not we don't have
a dude with us. Yeah, you know, so I'm like, well, sorry, buddy,
you're rolling deep right, Like I.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
Think when they were younger, I don't remember when Kaduen
was younger. I can't remember the age. And he first
started going in there on his own and if he
was just with me, I would just stand right outside
the door.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
And then if it took longer.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Than like, you know, if I knew you just had
a pee and it was more, I would literally kind
of prop up that Cayden and you're good, and I
would like.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
You know, just so if anyone was in there, they knew.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
I usually tried to make sure it wasn't busy, it
wasn't a busy bathroom at all, but if there, you know,
I would just kind of pop in like, hey, Kateen,
you good, just so they know I'm like standing right there.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
I do that too, like shout the door. Yeah, I
did that the other day at the marina. I'm like, buddy,
you good, and sweet Dad was like he's still in there.
He's okay, you know what I mean. So yeah, okay,
he's mostly good kid.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Yeah, I want to believe, but yeah, but I also
think that it's ridiculous that this person called the cops.
You got mad the woman could wait a minute and
let them use the bathroom. I understand her being uncomfortable
with a man being in the woman's restroom. Fine, yep,
give her give him a minute, let him finish with
his daughters and then go about your business like there's
no need to get mad about it and call the cops.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
I wonder what the age, though, is for, because I
feel like when you're at a certain point that if
he's going in with like a jas age, you're old enough.
He's old enough in my opinion, to not have the
dad come in the bathroom if the daughter was that
round that age, right, And I don't know if he is,
but I'm just saying that. I remember they can go
to the bathroom.
Speaker 3 (26:56):
And so like Pick would do the same thing.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
He would let them go in the girls, and he
would stand outside of the girls and wait. And sometimes
there would be like a woman that would be like,
oh I helped her, like get the paper towels or
something like that, and he big thank you, you know
or whatever. So I mean, I think there comes a
certain point when they can kind of really do it
on their own, as long as you're like right out
there and no things can happen really quickly.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
I'm not discounting that.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
But I like the fact that guy is talking about
it being a you know, I guess sounds like a
single dad, and yeah, it's bad in it so well,
also he didn't do anything wrong, like he's really just trying.
I mean, yeah, it's just a wild it's it's crazy.
Oh well, ladies, I hope you have a great week.
You too. I can't wait to go up my shoes
on Kramer.
Speaker 3 (27:36):
We're going to be wearing our shoes all the time
now next week, Bye bye,
