Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, It's Michael. Your morning show can be heard live
weekday mornings five to eight am, six to nine am
Eastern and great cities like Tampa, Florida, Youngstown, Ohio, and
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We'd love to join you on the
drive to work live. But we're glad you're here now.
Enjoyed the podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
May starting your morning off right.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
A new way of talk, a new way of understanding
because we're in this together.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
This is your morning show with Michael O'Dell. John love
those guys. They listen every Monday morning. There every Monday morning.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Every Monday morning, they're up early rise and shine. Early
bird gets the warm Welcome to Monday, the eighteenth of May,
Year of Our Lord, twenty twenty six. This is your
morning show. I'm Michael del Jornal, Honored to serve you.
Jeffrey's got the sound Red keeping an eye on the content.
Big weekend in sports, Big John picked the Breakness.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Don't forget Noster.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Del Jorna said there'd be a different winner for each
of the jewels of the Triple Crown. We just got
our second different winner, Napoleon so low. I'm trying to
think of all the markets were on in Cleveland, Youngstown, Akron,
I think seven or eight in all, everybody in Ohio
must be of course, my sleep score was so low

(01:16):
and said be careful. Oh didn't really, so Trip, be careful.
You know you had a bad night sleep. I don't.
I'm sure they were up celebrating late in Ohio. The
Cleveland Cavaliers are headed the Eastern Conference Final for the
first time since twenty eighteen, and they did so with
an exclamation point. If you will, I will be honest
with you. Andrew turned on the AMC Awards. I will

(01:40):
avoid all commentary of country music's second biggest night because
I just don't have anything good to say at all
about anybody. But the Calves were down eleven. I was disgusted.
Andrea flicks it on to the Country Music Awards and

(02:01):
Bad Performance Week performance. All of a sudden, I look
at the score and the Caves are up twenty oh something.
They just exploded. Maybe they heard lebron Able back next
year something. So headed to the Eastern Conference Final with
an exclamation point one five ninety four over. The Piston
has taken Game seven last night. Congratulations Ohio Cleveland. To

(02:23):
be exact, your Cavaliers are headed to the finals of
the conference. Oklahoma City thunderstar SGA Jay Gilgess. Alexander is
the NBA MVP. He already was in our home, but
now he is officially. So big weekend in sports Moving
ahead Today, large crowds gathered at the National Mall in Washington,

(02:44):
d C.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
For the Jubilee of Prayer. On Sunday, the President with.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Fresh new warnings for Ron, and I think what will
be the big conversation in all of talk radio today?
They'll probably not here. We'll go over it, but not
as obsessed in pure politics as perhaps other shows.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
But you know, we always talked.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
About this hasn't been a red wave. This has been
an Orange wave. This hasn't been, you know, a Republican
establishment party. This has been Donald Trump's party. Now, whose
party it becomes after Donald Trump leaves, and it could
remain Donald Trump's for a while, that's in the realm

(03:30):
of possibility depends on the future. But right now it's
Donald Trump's party. So how many times have we used
the expression, you know, mess with the bull, you get
the horns right, And it happened again, this time to
Senator Bill Cassidy Louisiana projected to fail to advance to

(03:53):
the runoff in Louisiana GOP Senate primary. And now the
President quickly turns his eyes to another judas. This time
it'll be Representative Thomas Massey in Kentucky. So they're not
learning their lessons very fast in the Republican Party, in
going against Donald Trump doesn't seem to be a very

(04:14):
good move. Now, Representative Cassidy's talking really big right now. Oh,
this will just help my fundraising.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Good luck with that.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
This chart Red sent me pretty much says it all.
So you have Bill Cassidy Louisiana now lost in the primary.
Liz Cheney Wyoming lost, Jamie Herrera Butler in Washington third
District lost, Peter Major in Michigan lost, Tom Rice South
Carolina lost. The other judases like in North Carolina, Richard

(04:47):
Byrd declined to run. Anthony Gonzales in Ohio declined to run.
John Katco in New York declined to run. Adam Kensinger
in Illinois declined to run. Romney Utah, declined to run.
Senator Pat Toomey Pennsylvania declined to run. The smart one,
the one that didn't decline, The only ones that have

(05:08):
survived opposing Donald Trump is Markowski and Alaska, new House
in Washington, Susan Collins in May that Murkowski Collins, that
just has stayed strong. But you can get away with
that in Maine and Alaska, these other places not so much.

(05:28):
So there's really not much more to talk about other
than I mean, people will go all day with this,
but you can go round and around all day. It's
still Donald Trump's party. There has to be some level
of insanity to ever like vote to impeach him as
a Republican and think you're going to survive that. This story,

(05:54):
I thought, is huge. What is the definition of insanity?
Do the same thing over and over again, inspect and
expect a different result.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Isn't that? Isn't that the lesson?

Speaker 1 (06:04):
California's learning, Illinois's learning, New York's learning. Government can't be
all things to all people. Government can't spend, spend, spend
into debt and get away with it when the voters
are voting with their feet and sending a clear message

(06:25):
you don't go further left, you go further towards the
direction of where they're going. And the only one that
keeps bringing up well, let's see if we can get
them to come back. Is local in New York. So
there's two stories that may sound unrelated. We want to

(06:45):
relate them and link them for you today. And it's
not just a picture of opportunity, it's the picture of
lefts insanity. Fox News Americans keep moving to Texas and Florida,
but there's another state that's growing even faster, South Carolina.

(07:08):
The Palmetto States net gain equals just over one percent
of its population, the highest rate in the nation. Texas
and Florida are drawing the largest number of new residents,
but South Carolina's growing faster. Now, this story kind of
makes a turn towards is South Carolina over Tennessee. We
have seen traditionally Texas and Florida get the most, and

(07:31):
then it's been Tennessee. Used to be North Carolina was
secondarily getting the most. But now we're seeing this growth
in South Carolina. And what are they liking about it?
What do you like about where you live? First of all, safety.
Nobody wants to live where they don't feel safe. Nobody

(07:54):
wants to raise their children where they don't feel safe.
So these are all states that prioritize law and order
in law enforcement. Because people want to go where they're safe.
People want to go where the schools are good. People
want to go where there's affordable housing, and people want
to go where there's jobs.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
And why the job's there because the companies have moved there.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Every day when I go to get on the interstate,
I passed the new headquarters have been an out burger.
That's no longer in California, it's here in Tennessee. I mean,
if this was an office and we were the department heads, Hey,
we got a lot of people moving to Texas, Florida,

(08:40):
South Carolina, Tennessee. What are they doing? Why are people
going there? Well, because their businesses are there. Well, why
do we lose those businesses? Well?

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Taxation, crime rates were anti cop.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
You want people to call nine one one and get
a community organized or a counselor they want to cop,
but none of them ever examine themselves and consider change. Now,
what's the other story? I gotta link this because I'll

(09:16):
run out of time. What's the other story that may
link with this? All right, let's go to California. I'm
using them as an example. Why wouldn't they wake up
and stop the insanity, stopped going further left and understand
why people are leaving their state and maybe go back
towards the center.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Oh, but they are.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Early voters in the Golden State have already returned more
than nine hundred thousand ballots just under a million ballots
ahead of the June second primary in the governor's race,
showing a massive surge in Republican votes compared to four
years ago. A post on Saturday from the research firm
Political Data PDI showed that out of the nine hundred

(09:59):
and five in eight hundred and eighty nine ballots that
were returned, thirty seven percent were Republicans, with Republican returns
up eleven percent compared to the same stage in the
twenty twenty two midterms.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
More shocking, the.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Data showed forty one percent of Democrats who have returned
their ballots, which is down thirteen percent from the primary
four years ago.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
I mean, since when are Democrats not early voters? Right?

Speaker 1 (10:30):
So here you are staring down the possibility and you
can't make this up. And as Shenanigan, they thought they
would pull just like New York City did to get
your mom. Donnie, You're gonna end up with two Republicans
making the runoff or it's looking that way, and then
these numbers show, yeah, it's looking that way. Democrats are

(10:53):
down thirteen in the early voting and that's what the
million votes almost in. Republicans are up eleven in dependents
and other up to None of these good signs for
the Democrats in this election. When will the Blues stranglehold
in these failing states wake up and stop living this insanity?

(11:19):
Maybe soon, because the people are waking when they won't Ai,
those are two I mean that and coming up in
a few minutes. I want to share a story with you.
And again it's like a tree falls Listen, it was tempting.
Will Ferrell was the host and Paul McCartney was the
musical act for the season finale of SNL, and I

(11:40):
still didn't watch why because it's just not a part
of my life anymore. I used to go go to
bed every night with Johnny Carson. I never go to
bed with any of the late night talk show hosts.
Saturday Night would all always be Saturday Night Live. It

(12:01):
hasn't been for over a decade. But here's an interesting note.
Ninety one percent of all the jokes in the weekend
update of Saturday Night Live targeted conservatives well, speaking of
Johnny Carson, who did his thesis paper at the University

(12:22):
of Nebraska on comedy literally what makes something funny? Along
those lines, will analyze how stupid that is. For Saraday Live,
gold and silver recently soared to record highs then it
pulled back. So our precious metals are they still a goodbye?

(12:43):
That's the question on everybody's mind. Major banks think so.
They'reforecasting even higher prices ahead. And why because we still
have trillions in national debt close to forty now, we
have a declining dollar inflation that keeps shrinking our savings.
Even with corrections along the way, gold remains a historic

(13:04):
hedge for wealth protection. That's why Morgan Stanley ditched the
sixty forty stock and bond portfolio and is recommending up
to twenty percent in precious metals.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
They're getting educated and you should too.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Here's how you can call Lear Capital eight hundred eight
eight zero twenty four to twenty four for your free
gold investment. Kid Learn how you could qualify for up
to twenty thousand dollars in bonus gold. With over three
billion dollars in transactions, thousands of five star reviews, and
almost thirty years of business. Leer Capital is my trusted
precious metal source. Call Lear today. Eight hundred eight eight

(13:42):
zero twenty four twenty four. That's eight hundred eight eight
zero twenty four to twenty four, eight hundred eight eight

Speaker 2 (13:52):
This is your morning show with Michael del Chrono.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
What good morning, gru I just won't learn about it now.
Back in for Law and Order, Mississippi re enacted the
firing Squad twenty seventy thing, but we are just waiting
on founding for the bleachers in the ticket box.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
We like you, bah, Mississippy. I can see he's had
a good weekend.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
Twenty seven minutes after the hour, Good morning, Welcome to Monday,
May the eighteenth, twenty twenty sixth. This is your day,
This is your morning show, and these are your top stories.
President Trump is warning Iran the clock is ticking.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
Trump advindes to Iran they better get moving fast or
there won't be anything left of them, you know. Sunday
Morning post on truth Social Trump wrote that time is
of the essence as peace negotiations appear to remain stalled.
Trump's latest threat comes after he rejected to Ron's response
to the White House peace proposal as totally unacceptable. Last week,
he also described the fragile ceasfire as being on life support.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
I'm Mark Mayfield.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
Luigi man Gione faces a critical hearing today in New
York City in his trial for the alleged murder of
United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, and Scott carr has details.

Speaker 6 (15:01):
The judge in Mangioni's state trial is set to rule
out a motion from his defense team that seeks to
suppress key evidence collected during his arrest at a McDonald's
in Pennsylvania. At issue are the items found in the backpack,
which include.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
The alleged murder weapon and a journal.

Speaker 6 (15:17):
Mangioni's defense team says the items were unlawfully seized without
a warrant. Mangioni faces state and federal charges in his
alleged assassination of Brian Thompson. The judge in his federal
trial already ruled to allow the items into that trial.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
I'm Scott Carr Well, and his study has proven once
and for all what we often suspected the brain chemistry
is different in people with anxiety The Tales Now from
Lisa Carton.

Speaker 7 (15:42):
Scientists at the University of California found that people with
anxiety disorders have lower levels of coaling, a nutrient needed
for a healthy brain function. The strongest difference was noted
in the prefrontal cortex, the area tied to emotional control
and decision making. Researchers say the discovery is the first
clear chemical rain pattern link and good lead to new

(16:02):
nutrition based treatments. I'm Lisa Gordon, the.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
Lead singer of the seventies band Doctor Hook. Dennis Lacourier
has died. Michael Casner reports.

Speaker 8 (16:11):
Sylvius Mother Say Sylvia's Business.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
His rep confirmed he died at the age of seventy
six following a long and courageous battle with kidney disease.
Le Courier is best known for such hits as Sylvia's
Mother on the cover of The Rolling Stone and When
You're in Love with a Beautiful Woman during a career
spanning nearly six decades. He was also a songwriter who

(16:36):
helped found the group originally called Doctor Hook. In the
medicine show I'm Michael Castle.

Speaker 9 (16:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
When you're in love with a beautiful woman, you better
better watch your sixty eyes. Well that one too, me.
They left that one. I loved that one.

Speaker 10 (16:51):
This is Devia Morris from our little town of Franklin, Tennessee.
My morning show is your Morning Show with Michael Bill Journette.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Hey, it's me Michael.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Your morning show can be heard live five to eight
am Central, six to nine Eastern and great cities like Jackson, Mississippi, Akron, Ohio,
or Columbus, Georgia. We'd love to be a part of
your morning routine, and we're grateful you're here. Now enjoy
the podcast. So I don't want to be in a
big debate with you, and I certainly don't want you
to get mad at me. I'm just saying, like Ted Kennedy,
I don't want to make doctor Hook more in death

(17:25):
than he was in life. Are But those were all
very obscure. I was just making the point. Cover of
the Rolling Stone, Yes, probably the biggest head. I don't
know why they didn't mention sharing the night together. I
think sharing the night together was a bigger hit than
when you're in love with a beautiful woman. Yeah, but
Sylvia's mother, I mean of all the ones.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
But you make my pants want to get up and dance.
That's not a great I think you're reaching.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
When you get to my pants want to dance, I
think you're reaching. I mean, if there was to spill
over on the air, and I'm really sorry he died.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
Queen of the Silver Dollar. Come on, I'm.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
Gonna go with Cover the Rolling Stone. Somebody could google it.
She had to be his highest ranking system. Oh my gosh,
that was my favorite. I forgot all about that. I see,
just like that, You're back in my good list. That's
what happens now.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
Wasn't that a remake?

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Though?

Speaker 2 (18:15):
He just did it best? Yeah? Well yeah, sexy eyes, sexy,
how sexy? People don't realize how many?

Speaker 1 (18:23):
All right now that one. I'll agree with you and
you're welcome. She was only sixteen. Hang on a second,
are we allowed to do this? This won't make the podcast?

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Well, we can always do it once doctor hopefully singer died.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
That's a new newsworthy. I got to tell you this.
This is my favorite right here, I think, hands down.
I mean, Cover the Rolling Stones kind of novelty. It
was more of a cultural thing.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
But this look at his eye patch this is a
live version. Oh, I love it. She was on the
sixteen o sixteen, but I like so. Wasn't Sam Cook

(19:18):
the original? She was too young? You know. That's a
good falling love and I was too young to know.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Yeah, that's by far my favorite.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Sam Cook was the original.

Speaker 1 (19:30):
Yeah, Sam Cook is And I actually liked Doctor Hook's
version better. Doctor Hook had a lot of hits. Why
did we ever go see Doctor Hook? Because the lesson
he's had liver issues? We understand, Well, tell me all anyway,
all that to say, thirty eight minutes after the hour,
Now Early Bird gets the warm, Sleepy Squirrel, Missus and
nut rise and Shine, we got ourselves on Monday May

(19:52):
eighteenth to twenty twenty six to understand together on the
airstreaming live on your iHeartRadio app This is your Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
We're at that age.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Where we're just gonna, you know, start losing a lot
of people right in the heart of our you know,
I mean, I don't know, we're going to get to
that window where it's Elton, John Billy Joel Rod Stewart.
It's gonna get heavy, but we're starting to get to
the outlying area of that and the passing the lead

(20:23):
singer of Captain Hook. This is you know, doctor Hook.
This is getting close to home. So we got off
and got a little nostalgic. Let's get back on target.
I wanted to start with this story because I just
think it's so interesting. It's kind of like, you know,
the old Behind every headline is the story, and behind
every story, there's so much to talk about. Well, here's

(20:44):
the headline for you. Saturday Night Live can't stop making
fun of conservatives, Donald Trump or anyone who has a
different worldview than them.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
And this isn't wise by any standard.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
I thought the best way to start this segment would
be to be honest with you. I can think of well,
I remember the first night of Saraday Night Live being
in my brother Vick's bedroom with my brother Bobby on
a black and white TV, and we saw the first
Saturday Night Live, John Belushi, Chevy Chase, the original crew.
And I don't think we I mean Midnight Special on

(21:25):
Friday night, Satay Night Live on Saturday night. I don't
think there was a Friday or Saturday. They were missed.
Saturday Night Live went through some dips and cast members.
There were some unfunny years, and then there were some
magical casts. Now we always talk about these shared experiences

(21:45):
that we all lack. That's because of the fragmentation that's happening.
But it used to be everybody watched Saturday Night Live
and then you talked about what was the most funny
on Monday, just like you'd watch the final episode of Seinfelder,
the final episode of Match and we all talked about
it around the water cooler. I mean, culturally, the ultimate expenses.

(22:05):
We don't have shared experiences. So if Lauren Michaels were here,
I would say, well, I was one of your most
loyal viewers.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
For four decades.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
I mean, Lauren Michaels more than I think only Marlborough
was I more loyal to for.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
More decades than Saturday Night Live. Think about that.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
How could you have me as a customer for four
decades and blow it? Well, that's you, but it's not me.
In fact, at the end of the day, it's half
of America. What did in Hillary Clinton? She made everybody
who loves bibles, guns, conservatism, limited guns, goverr meant Christ

(23:02):
whatever you want to lump it all together and say
in a different words.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
She made it all deplorable. So from a.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Political standpoint, you say, well, now you're not criticizing your opponent,
you're criticizing half of the voters.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
How dumb are you?

Speaker 1 (23:17):
Couldn't the same be said for Lauren Michaels.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
In Sartay Night Live.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
Last night, they had arguably one of the funniest cast
members of all time in one of its biggest stars
in motion pictures, Will Ferrell.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
Will Ferrell is the host, Paul.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
McCartney, one of the Fab Four the Beatles, as the
musical guest this Saturday. And guess what, I still didn't
watch because it's no longer a part of my life.
It's not anything I think about or hate on. They
just lost me, just like late night talk shows lost me.

(23:51):
Craig Ferguson, who we've had as a guest on this show,
is one of the few who didn't go that direction.
James Corden was another one, and I appreciated their work,
But the others, they're just not a part of my
routine anymore, and not just me, a lot of others.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
So how did this happen? Well?

Speaker 1 (24:13):
I love that the New York Post did this story
live from New York. It's time to bash Republicans on
Saturday Night. That's really how they should start the show.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
Why would you take come?

Speaker 1 (24:25):
I mean, this is insulting to comedy, to dumb comedy.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
Down to partisan politics. Why would you ever go there.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
To the point now where partisan politics is the best
of the partisan late night shows with Gutfeld, and that's
insulting to a news channel. I hope you're following me
on all this because I think it's fascinating. But then again,
I could be alone, and I probably should kick off
fifteen minutes of NonStop doctor hook a whopping ninety one percent. Look,

(25:03):
there's quality and quantity and then there's obsession. Ninety one
percent of the jokes delivered on Saturday Night Live's Weekend
Update segment this season targeted conservatives. Eighty two percent of
the characters during the show's cold opens mocked President Trump
or fellow Republicans. The media watchdog Media Research Center NewsBusters

(25:30):
examined SNL's first nineteen shows of the season through May
ninth and founded a one way political firing squad. Of
the two hundred and twenty six political jokes delivered by
Weekend Update anchors Colin Jost, Yost and Michael ch two
hundred and five. Of the two hundred and twenty six

(25:51):
targeted conservatives, only eighteen slam democrats other liberals are nonpartisans.
During Cold Opens, actors playing Republicans and conservatives appeared forty
nine times, lefty characters only ten. Here's the part that's
even better. Forget lefties and righties. Only one nonpartisan character

(26:13):
was ever featured. Is this Trump derangement syndrome? Because if
it is, well, will it go away?

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Ever? We'll find out right now. Why is it stupid? Well?
One the way you lost me. You fragment your audience.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
When viewers believe one political perspective is targeted far more
than another, part of the audience just tunes out entirely.
Because everybody in comedy knows comedy works best when people
feel everyone is fair game. There's only a few things

(27:04):
that make you laugh. There's a reason your brain triggers laughter.
One of them is surprise. Well, satire loses surprise when
it loses its unpredictability. I can turn on Sarah alive,
and the only thing that is predictable is sooner later
they're gonna bash me or Trump. Now, this plays into

(27:28):
a bigger danger in America, this whole political tribalism. Why
would America look inside the Beltway at the political dysfunction
and say, let's all be like that. So now instead

(27:53):
of two congressmen who can't get along, two neighbors can't
get along. And this adds to that and builds to that.
It fractures what I call the common human experiences.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
I mean, you could make a.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
Case everything wrong in America can be found in late
night television and especially Saturday night late night television. None
of this makes any business model sense whatsoever. Now for

(28:30):
the longest time, and this isn't why I do it.
I do it because of my worldview. My worldview shapes
my political view and my opinions. But I've always cared
more about sharing life with you than telling you how
to think partisanly and politically. But there's no question conservativism

(28:52):
has dominated talk radio, and even in doing that, it
fragments its audience radio measurement. It gets away with it.
Why well, news, which is biased too, But technically, if
you want to just presume for the sake of argument,
it's not. It's the broadest spectrum. Here's what happened. Can't

(29:15):
you offend anybody. Of course, they do by the stories
they choose, and don't choose angles they choose. But in
radio things are weighted by how much time you spend.
So certainly conservative talk radio has alienated a lot of
listeners now, more so than when I first started in radio.
I could pick any market and you will see half
of the talk radio audience listening to NPR, which is

(29:37):
leftist talk, and the other half listening to conservative talk.
And there's nobody, it seems like most days, on either
of them that can just see life from all perspectives
and trust its audience to come to its own conclusions.
I mean, a story is a story. Now, some of

(30:02):
them are just so dumb. I even I can't hold
hold my serve, even I break my rule. I mean,
it's just too dumb. But this notion of ilan Omar
is a great story. Now, the person in jail is
singing like a canary that she knew all about the

(30:24):
fraud in Minnesota. Whether she's guilty or not, we don't know.
We're taking the word of a prisoner, but the possibility
she may have known her unexplainable newfound wealth. It should

(30:46):
come up on both sides, even if it comes up
to be spun, but it doesn't. Each side does its
myopic side only let's say what you want about political
conversation in America, or divisions in America, or tribalism in America.

(31:08):
This just isn't comedy. This is beneath comedy, and it's alienating.
And it certainly explains why Last Night with Will ferre
or Saturday Night two nights ago with Will Ferrell as
host and Paul McCartney's musical guest, I still didn't tune
in because it's just not a part of my life anymore.

(31:33):
Because it did get predictably offensive and small minded and unfunny.
And here's finally a scoreboard to show you why ninety
one percent of every joke is mocking you, what you
believe or the candidate half of you voted for. That's

(31:55):
just not smart as comedians. The death of Saturday Night
Live to go along with the death of Late Night Talk,
to go along with the death of journalism. So sick
of death. The day you brought your puppy home, you

(32:16):
did make a silent promise. You're gonna take care of them.
You're gonna protect them, You're gonna give them the best
life possible. I do that with puppies fresh legs. Oh
you want the lottery, You're gonna have the greatest life.
We're gonna have a ball. I say all that to
my puppies. But there's one thing that we all do.
Every day. We fill their bowl, and as we fill it,

(32:40):
we're cutting off our time together. Dog food is dead food.
It's stripped of all live nutrition. It's loaded with chemicals
their body was never designed to process, and over time
it takes toll on their organs, their energy, and their years.
Every day without proper nutrition is a day you can't
get back. That's why I always say the best day
to start your dog on roughgreens was the day you

(33:01):
brought them home. The next best is today, and that's
why thousands have added rough greens on top of whatever
you're feeding your dog. You don't have to go out
and buy all these fancy dogfoods. I put rough greens
on the same dry food I feed Boomer every morning,
and the same wet food I feed them every afternoon.
Only now he's getting the live probiotics, enzymes and mega oils,
twenty vitamins and minerals. It's America's number one supplement. It's

(33:25):
all natural and it's made in the USA, and thousands
of dogs are feeling younger, more energetic, and healthier, not
just mine, more good days, more days together. I rely
on rough Greens because I love my dog. You can
start and see if Roughgreens does for your dog what
it's done for mine, because you'll notice in days. Get

It's your morning show with Michael del Chino, as we.

Speaker 1 (34:13):
Like to say, say it, send it and then hear it.
Can't have your morning show without your voice. To Youngstown, Ohio,
we go.

Speaker 8 (34:18):
Hey, Michael, I wish you guys would quit singing songs
on the morning show because last week you guys were
singing that song. I'd really like to see you tonight
all weekend that's stuck in my head.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
Really love to see you tonight.

Speaker 1 (34:33):
Yeah, I would, And in fact, if I had to
get one stuck, only sixteen would be the one to
have stuck at Absolutely to Illinois we Go, you cannot
forget about Rodeo when it comes to doctor Hood.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
I don't know that. I don't know Rodeo.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
I know Sexy Eyes cover the Rolling Stone, sharing the
night together, Sylvia's mother, when you're in love with a
beautiful woman. I forgot the remake cause she's only sixteen
till you run, which I think I like better than
Sam Cook's Saint Louis.

Speaker 9 (35:00):
It's the patriot you were talking about when Hillary Clinton
called half of the country deplorable. You know, it just
dawned on me that that's the same spirit that uh
who was that Chinese leader Mao who killed like forty
or fifty or sixty million of his people. It's the
same spirit right there.

Speaker 1 (35:20):
A Mao Zedong reference this morning from Doctor Hook to
Mao ze Dong.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
Lisa's in Memphis, Tennessee, listening to the Great WRC.

Speaker 10 (35:31):
You're so right on the Saturday Night Live saying I
remember growing up, was in my teens, my mom would
have friends over and we had get take out, and
it was a whole thing around Saturday night Live. You
know Rosanna Rosannabana. Oh yeah, you know, I mean it
just it was classic. Now's I started out not watching

(35:52):
it because of exactly what you're saying.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
Oklahoma City thunderstar Shay Gilgis, Alexander MVP of the NBA,
Napoleon Solo, Big John Caldon, winner of this year's Preakness,
and how about them Calves winning with an exclamation point
last night won twenty five ninety four over the Pistons.
They're head of the Eastern Conference Final for the first
time since twenty eighteen.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
We're all in this together. This is your Morning Show
