Speaker 7 (01:18):
You don't what do I said? It's not sure, it's ma'am.

Speaker 6 (01:22):
But Donna okay.

Speaker 8 (01:23):
By the way, look at.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
A lot of new listeners in New Cities.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
They don't know what Donna is.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
But you have an alter egoing at any time you
may you made Donna dress.

Speaker 5 (01:31):
I'll tell you what The Democrats started this man as
you can be whatever you identify as. So in twenty
twenty eight, I'm running for president.

Speaker 6 (01:39):
Again as Donna Trump. And there's nothing they can do
about it.

Speaker 7 (01:43):
Write nothing they can do about it.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
I've got an old trampoline in the backyard. It's uh,
it might be time to get You know, there are
things in my backyard that go. Do I save them
for the grandchildren or get rid of them. You have
a giant skyscraper mma ring in the back of the
White House and you're thinking about make permanent.

Speaker 5 (02:00):
Well, we may do that because the next time I
have a problem with somebody gonna take him.

Speaker 6 (02:05):
In there and beat the hell out of them. Thinking
at it, you know.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
It, well, we could have shot pasta was gonna do it.
He said he was gonna.

Speaker 7 (02:13):
Do a couple of nasty things to Bill Poltie. But
they got it.

Speaker 5 (02:16):
They got they got back together, like me and Biby, right, you.

Speaker 7 (02:19):
Think about it, and I called him baby, right.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
I don't call him Bobby, Bobby Kennedy Bobby, and I
called him, yeah, Biby right. These are two different names,
but two different people. But you look at the UFC
Ring and the White House. It's going to be beautiful.
You look at it's gonna beautiful. We may leave it up,
and we may bring back trial by combat. Think about it,

(02:42):
we may bring back the trial by combat.

Speaker 7 (02:44):
I win all the trials if that's the case, all
of them. We're looking at it. We're looking at it,
and we're looking at doing a bunch of things. We're
looking at leaving it. You know, you don't want the ballroom.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
You're gonna have a fighting ring on the great lawns.
But you know we're renaming it, by the way, we're
renaming it the greatest, that the great one the greatest.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
The greatest.

Speaker 6 (03:02):
You know that.

Speaker 5 (03:03):
Sure, that's a beautiful one. I have to tell you
that it's so beautiful.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
I guess this is really captured everybody's attention. There was
some yelling, there was some screaming, there was some quoting,
and then, uh, yesterday or the day before, you had
to come out and just admit, yeah, I called b
me crazy, But I mean I shared a personal story
about somebody I used to work with.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
You used to scare my wife.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
We'd get in these heated conversations, but they always ended
with I love you, goodbye, see you tomorrow. H Your
contention is that, yeah, you guys have been, you know,
fighting a war together and you have tense moments, but
there's no question who signed each other's on.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
Well, we're both fighting a very nasty enemy. You look
at Iran, you look at these crazy people. There's a
lot of crazy people out there, and they're not nice people.

Speaker 7 (03:46):
And we want to take care of those people.

Speaker 6 (03:48):
Want to take them out.

Speaker 7 (03:49):
You look at it. We want to take them out.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
You know, now that Katie Porterhouse lost in California, we
could drop her back on Iran.

Speaker 7 (03:57):
Right, she lost so big late, right, and she may
also wind up on the view.

Speaker 6 (04:02):
I call it the zoo bickering boat.

Speaker 7 (04:04):
Bunes right, you look at it.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
They may add another cow in Katie porterhouse to this stand.

Speaker 7 (04:09):
We'll see what happens. But now you look at Bibi.
I get looked very well with him, and I called.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
Him crazy because he was acting crazy. But he ended
the phone call with as you said, we love you.

Speaker 7 (04:22):
Goodbye, and we get to look very well.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
We get to look very well with BV and Bobby,
but we get along very well with BIB.

Speaker 7 (04:28):
And I call them bb.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
Fremend this person, and we're going to take care of
these they're oni and crazy people. They're very crazy, and
you know, we're doing things that a lot of people
would never have done. But they will never have a
nuclear weapon, not much, I can tell you. Despite DB's craziness,
they're never going to have a nuclear weapon.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Yeah, it's a lot of missiles have been flying at
a time of ceasefire, and yet you're still convinced you
can get a piece agreement. America is ready for peace
agreement or not. And there are a lot of people
nervous that this could impact the midterm elections, but you're
still doing things based on the ground and you're still optimistic.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
And get a piece deal.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
We're gonna get a deal to get a beautiful deal,
and it may take a little longer than we want,
but we're going to get a beautiful deal.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Friday, so forty seven, let's turn to I know your
favorite governor in New York, Hokeel, who is questioning that
you're actually really a New York Knickerbocker fan. She said,
I'd just like to see him name three or four
actual players on the NBA championship team in nineteen ninety three,
and of course they won in seventy three.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
What do you think.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Of of the Governor Hokel criticizing you on your support
for the next Well.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
I think the Governor Katie Hockel is a very stupid person.

Speaker 7 (05:41):
Are we allowed to say that?

Speaker 6 (05:42):
I think you did say that.

Speaker 5 (05:44):
She's she's a she's a stupid person.

Speaker 7 (05:47):
We call her the buck tooth boat socks band it
of Buffalo. Think about it, and she's a very nancy person.

Speaker 5 (05:55):
Buck tooth boat juts banded of buffalo and very stupid.

Speaker 7 (06:00):
But you look at her.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
He hasn't been a day that's gone by where she hasn't.

Speaker 7 (06:04):
Looked in the mirror and saw a stupid.

Speaker 6 (06:05):
Person looking back at Think about it.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
The Knicks didn't win a championship in nineteen ninety three.
You want to know what, because I wasn't the president.

Speaker 7 (06:13):
That's why.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
If I was the president, then excuse me. If I
was the president, and they would have won.

Speaker 7 (06:20):
You look at Jalen Brunson.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
You look at Carl Aunt Pitty townsqull him, cat Knt He's.

Speaker 7 (06:25):
A beautiful cat.

Speaker 6 (06:26):
He's a beautiful cat.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
Carl Anthony Tabbs is playing very well in the finals.

Speaker 7 (06:31):
And you look at the Knicks. They're they're doing very
well in the finals. But Catney huckle Puck, she was
going to get me. We're going to get him.

Speaker 6 (06:37):
She said, sure, we're.

Speaker 7 (06:38):
Going to get him, sir.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
And she said, the Knicks won the championship in nineteen
ninety three.

Speaker 6 (06:42):
Never happened. It didn't happen.

Speaker 5 (06:45):
And she thought it happened, but it didn't happen in
nineteen seventy three. And the only reason they won in
seventy three is because I was rooting them on.

Speaker 6 (06:54):
I was a big, beautiful nix fent.

Speaker 5 (06:56):
But you look at the the way that franchise has
been running over the course of the last bar that
they is horrible. But they're the finals and they're doing
very well. And you know, we're making.

Speaker 7 (07:06):
The Knicks great again.

Speaker 6 (07:07):
You look at Jalen.

Speaker 5 (07:08):
Brunson, you look at Mitchell Robinson, great guy, Karl Anthony Towns,
great guy, Mike Brown the head coach, fantastic guy, you
can name it. They're all doing a tremendous job.

Speaker 7 (07:20):
They're doing a great job.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
Pizza boy, I have to say that they're doing a
fantastic job. Michael Bridges, we love it Bridges and Tower
plant day. But he's doing a great job over.

Speaker 6 (07:30):
There with the Knicks, and hopefully.

Speaker 9 (07:33):
They bring it up.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
The bucktooth botox banded a Buffalo could be quiet tickets,
shove a sock in it.

Speaker 6 (07:38):
Right, Someone's gonna tell her man stop.

Speaker 5 (07:40):
Talking, because every time she opens her mouth she says
something very stupid.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Buck tooth boat talks, band it from Buffalo that you
call stupid, don of course, which is called her Bobby.
All right, are you pleased with the way things are
looking in California?

Speaker 3 (07:54):
I know you're frustrated.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
I issued a severe Shenanigan's watch and effect, meaning conditions
are favorable for shenanigans. After all, they could be counting
these votes for who knows how long.

Speaker 7 (08:06):
Well, you look at California.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
That's the Latin word for shenanigans, right, you think about it, shenanigans.
You look at California in the dictionary, you get sheananigans.
It's always with the funny business. Except it's not very
funny because they're playing games with our elections.

Speaker 6 (08:21):
We can't have that.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
And I don't know if the reason why they're counting
very slow, you know, they count very slow.

Speaker 7 (08:27):
I don't know if the.

Speaker 5 (08:28):
Reasons why they're doing that is because they're all stupid
people like the Somalis in Minnesota. Did they get their
degree from the Leering Center? Did that why they have
to count slow? Or is it because they're playing games.
I think it's a mixture of booth. I think there's
a very stupid people, very challenged people.

Speaker 7 (08:45):
The map is not very good.

Speaker 5 (08:47):
You know, they have to count one at a time
and they're doing it very slowly, but they're also playing games.
I love your severe Shenanigan's watching. Peoplere gonna upgrade that,
but Tananigan's warning and then if it gets really crazy,
we say it is severe Shenanigan's emergency and you have
to watch out. But you know I do very I'm

(09:08):
one of the greatest meteorologician.

Speaker 7 (09:10):
Weather people.

Speaker 5 (09:11):
You look at weather, I'm one of the greatest in
the history of the world. And you look at last
year speaking of the weather, after we renamed the Gulf
of Mexico to the Golf of America peaching, Boy, did
you know that.

Speaker 7 (09:22):
We had zero hurricanes?

Speaker 5 (09:25):
Never would have happened if I wasn't elected president. We're
never going to have a hurricane again. We're keeping them out,
We're deporting them.

Speaker 7 (09:32):
You know, you look at El.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
Nino, you look at latin We deported them to and
Latinia got sent them back to the country on the
trumpet pup.

Speaker 7 (09:41):
So they're at But we did a tremendous job.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Closing moments Friday with forty seven Graham Platner and I
really think this could go Anthony Wiener any day. That
seems like the movie The Campaign. I mean, you know,
this guy's got shwastikas now sexting, who knows what's next?
He moves forward. We have a terrorist character witness who
wins in New Jersey. I mean, can just anybody get elected.

Speaker 5 (10:08):
Well, you look at the Democrat Party, peacher boy, these
are crazy people.

Speaker 7 (10:11):
You look at Grand Platner. Everybody wants to make a.

Speaker 6 (10:14):
Big deal out of my mean tweets.

Speaker 7 (10:16):
Forever, mean pleets.

Speaker 9 (10:17):
Oh, he sent some very interesting texts.

Speaker 7 (10:19):
I would never do that.

Speaker 5 (10:20):
I would never send a text like that, but a
nasty guy Nazi tattoo. You look at James Tallerco. He
calls women his neighbors with a uterus. Right the last
time I called one of my neighbors somebody with a units,
I was talking about the Prime Minister of Canada. I
think about it party and Trudeau. Those women are crazy.

Speaker 7 (10:41):
I have to say that.

Speaker 5 (10:42):
Those and the president of France too also has a uterus,
Emmanuel Macron. But you look at Caller Rica, you look
at the terrorists in New Jersey, you look at Platner,
abou El sayed in Michigan.

Speaker 7 (10:57):
These are crazy people, Pizzer boy crazy. They're crazier than
you when.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
You would dirupt me, which is something you don't do
that much anymore. Because we're trying to you a picture
of the house.

Speaker 7 (11:07):
We don't want you to do that. You better stop
doing that.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
I do want the exclusiveview you didn't go excuse me.

Speaker 6 (11:13):
If you excuse me, If.

Speaker 7 (11:15):
You keep doing that, you're gonna go the way of
Scott Kelly.

Speaker 6 (11:18):
If yes, you're gonna get fired. We don't want to
see that happen.

Speaker 7 (11:21):
Now. The Democrats are running a bunch of crazy people.
That much it?

Speaker 3 (11:25):
Teddy? All right, that wasn't me.

Speaker 10 (11:26):
That's Jeffrey rushing.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
You're there with the sound effect. How he doesn't get threatened?

Speaker 1 (11:30):
All right? There you have it Friday with forty seven.
Hail to the Chief. He's the one we all say
hell to. He has the power because it takes a shower,
and he's got an mm A ring in the backyard.
Mister President, thank you so much for your time.

Speaker 11 (11:42):
Thank you.

Speaker 7 (11:43):
Pizza boy.

Speaker 6 (11:43):
You better watch it.

Speaker 7 (11:44):
Jeffrey, you better watch it.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Hey, pizza boy, stop picking on Jeffrey. You h you
mess with the bull, you'll get the horns. Jeffrey rushed
off the president for crying all up finger Well, that
was for something completely different. Nineteen minutes after the hour,
it's now officially Friday. That's Friday with forty seven for
this Friday, June. The fifth Top five stories are next.

(12:07):
Here's something that should make you angry.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
Quite frankly.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Data brokers don't just sell your address or your phone number.
They're selling your beliefs, your political views, your religious affiliations,
your charitable giving, your entire family structure. It's all packaged
up and sold to political operatives, activist organizations, corporations, all
who want to target you because of what you believe in,

(12:31):
how you live well in America. Man's faith and family
should be his own business. And that's where in Cognate
comes in. They fight back on your behalf. They contact
hundreds and hundreds of these data brokers and legally demand
they take your information down, and then they stay after
him because they don't stop trying to reput it back up.

(12:52):
You can't get scammed. You can't get spammed, you can't
get classified or abused. If you can't be found, go
to incognitate dot com, I nc og n I, in
cognity dot com, use the promo code Michael and get
sixty percent off. It's already affordable and you can't live
without it, but sixty percent off. When you go to
in cognit dot com promo code Michael, your values are

(13:14):
not their data points disappear in cogniti dot com promo
code Michael, this is.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Your Morning show with Michael del.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Chrono saying there's damages and I know I didn't copyright it,

Speaker 3 (13:40):

Love that line, whatever it is. I just you know,
like I like the people are stealing just a little credit.

Fox News.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
All right.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
If you love Friday's with forty seven, that is Sean Farrache.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
He is just a scream and a great human being.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
If you go to Farache faar a s h farachemedia

In an interview with ms Now, Platner, Denned All allegations

the Naziss. Platner has acknowledged his struggles with PTSD, depression
and drinking following multiple combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
A Mark Neefield trip trip trip well.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
President Trump and the Mayor of New York City, Mom Donnie,
are both planning to attend Game three of the NBA
Finals at Madison Square Garden, but not sitting together.

Speaker 10 (16:00):
President Trump says Jim Dolan has personally invited him to
Game three.

Speaker 12 (16:04):
Nick fan for a long time, and I'm also a
Jim Dolan fan the XYS.

Speaker 8 (16:08):
Yes, he's invited me.

Speaker 7 (16:09):
I'm going.

Speaker 10 (16:10):
Mayor mem Donnie, when being asked if he plans to
meet with the President during the game, says, don't keep
your hopes up.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
I will be at Game three.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
I will be in a very different section of the stadium.

Speaker 10 (16:20):
The two will be a part of a sold out
crowd that's seeing secondhand market tickets go for an average
of over eight thousand dollars per seat. It's the first
NBA Finals game at the Garden in twenty seven years.
Game three between the Knicks and the Spurs will be
Monday at eight thirty. I'm Jonathan o'holler and NASA will.

This is Gabriel at Saint Louis and you're listening to
your mourn you with Michael Dell's your.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Hi. I'm Michael. I'd love to have you listen to
your morning show live every day. We're heard on great

Speaker 7 (17:44):
She said that her mother used to say that all
the time.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
So good luck on fine Philo forty. We were just
joking anyway, but no, I don't buy that story either.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Thirty five minutes after the hour in the Central time zone,
twenty five minutes to be to work by eight o'clock.
And thanks for bringing us along with you. This is
your morning show. I'm Michael honored to serve you. Jeffrey's
got the sound Reds keeping an eye on the content.
We got about seven hundred thousand ballots to count in California,
according to officials, Yet somebody has already projected the person
in second place as a advancer, not the person in

(18:19):
first place. Again, a severe Shenanigan watches in effect as
they count votes in California. The New York Times says
ex girlfriends of Graham Platner have all come forward talking
about alcoholism, toxicity, verbal abuse, and in one case, even
physical abuse. President Trump says US will win this war
with Iran one way or another. I prefer him to say,

(18:43):
we've already won the war. We will end this war.
One way or another might be the better messaging. And
the Carolina Hurricanes, I couldn't stay up that late, but
they want on to win an overtime four to three
over Vegas. Vegas is good, aren't they? Game three will
be in Los Vegas tomorrow night. Series tied at one,
game at piece in Game two is tonight in the

(19:03):
NBA Finals in San Antonio. Nixt took game one? Can
they take two on the road tonight. We'll find out
later tonight. I think I just yeah, I heard the
paper being ripped on the table. I think it's time
to go in and see the doctor.

Speaker 8 (19:20):
Do you need the news?

Speaker 1 (19:33):
Thirty seven minutes after the hour, Doctor Joe Gilotti is
joining us as he does on Friday. New study out
on ozembic and it looks like it may be reshaping
more than just our body.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
It could be reshaping the human brain.

Speaker 5 (19:48):
Doc.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
I'm just the patient. But that's not good, is it?

Speaker 9 (19:52):
Well, you know.

Speaker 11 (19:53):
This is a fascinating area, So I think reshaping the
brain is more of bait click for everybody to look
at this.

Speaker 14 (20:03):
But really, I think where.

Speaker 11 (20:05):
The truth lies is that we know that ozempic, which
is a GLP one agonist drugs. There are receptors to
this medicine in the intestinal tract, which sort of slows
down the emptying of the stomach and promotes weight loss.
But there are also receptors in the brain and nervous system,

(20:26):
and so what we're finding is that when these receptors
in the brain are being affected by these.

Speaker 9 (20:34):
Drugs, different things happen.

Speaker 11 (20:36):
And so the one thing we know, which we've known
for a while is that when you take ozentpic, your
drive for food goes down, your appetite goes down, you
don't have these urges to eat. But then if you
take it to the next step, well what about urges
for alcohol, urges for opioids? And the research is positively

(20:56):
showing that if you are so.

Speaker 14 (21:02):
Afflicted with alcohol.

Speaker 9 (21:04):
Addiction or drug addiction, o zembic.

Speaker 11 (21:07):
Somehow mediates these cravings and may have an effect in
helping you with these diseases. So there's lots of you know,
stones unturn here, and I think it's a very.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
Exciting time, all right, So let's start from the very beginning.
This is this is the jury people start taking. It
was primarily being used to help you lower your blood
sugar level. And then we noticed it was suppressing appetite,
and so people that were really struggling with obesity were
starting to get results. And then thirdly they're notice and
then this guy stopped drinking and this guy stopped smoking.

(21:44):
All right, So that's all the good. What might be
the unknown as we move forward with this, because we're
just never going to know until enough time has passed
if there are any negatives. I mean, bone density loss
is a potential, muscle loss is a potential, and could
there be any others Because right now, if you're trying
to quit smoking or you're trying to get lose weight,

(22:07):
looking pretty good, right, So.

Speaker 14 (22:10):
I think you're right about this. And this is where
I would.

Speaker 9 (22:13):
Like to say the scientific process needs to.

Speaker 11 (22:16):
Come in to do clinical studies which are being done
across the world on these sort of neurologic effects.

Speaker 9 (22:22):
Now, the one ill effect.

Speaker 11 (22:24):
Is so the one effect of ozepic and the golp
one drugs is that it can reduce brain inflammation, and
that seems to certainly be a good thing.

Speaker 14 (22:37):
The second thing is it does.

Speaker 11 (22:39):
Get into the brain and affect mood and your drive
to eat, your drive.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
To drink, and.

Speaker 11 (22:46):
I would say tapping that down a little bit may
be very beneficial. But what about if in somebody it
lowers your drive, it lowers your mood, it low is
your motivation so much.

Speaker 9 (23:02):
That you become depressed.

Speaker 11 (23:04):
And withdrawn and you don't want to communicate with the world, Well,
that certainly.

Speaker 14 (23:08):
Is a bad thing. So how you know.

Speaker 9 (23:11):
What's the proper dose?

Speaker 11 (23:13):
How is it absorbed by different people?

Speaker 14 (23:17):
That those are the questions I.

Speaker 11 (23:19):
Think at thirty thousand feet it's all very encouraging, But
to your point, we cannot just go gangbusters and say
I'm overweight, I smoke, I drink, and I got a
lousy attitude. O zepic is for me? That really is
the wrong way to go.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Yeah, doctor Jogolotti joining us for our weekly visit. One
of the things we hear about, and this is really
big in certain portions of the country or in certain
socioeconomic circles, micro dosing. And these are people that aren't
really struggling with diabetes, are not really struggling with obesity.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
But you know, if you want.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
To look just a little extra sharp, take a little
edge off. What about with micro dosing? Are we seeing
anything there that I mean, or are you so confident
in what we know so far that whether you take
it at full strength or microdosing all good so far?

Speaker 14 (24:09):
Well I think that that again is something that you.

Speaker 11 (24:12):
Need to you know, scientific look at to say if
if the full FDA approved dosing strategy gives you this effect.

Speaker 9 (24:23):
Well what about twenty five percent?

Speaker 11 (24:24):
And we do have patients that are, especially the ones
I see with fatty liver and pretty.

Speaker 14 (24:31):
Advanced limit disease microdosing.

Speaker 11 (24:33):
They are able to lose weight and keep it off
with not too many side effects.

Speaker 14 (24:37):
So again it is do the small.

Speaker 11 (24:41):
Doses do enough to work on your brain and your
emotion and your your motivational drive for food and drugs.

Speaker 14 (24:48):
And alcohol, but maybe you don't lose.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
As much weight.

Speaker 11 (24:51):
So again these are the you know, these are the questions.
And I think what happens is ozembic is a real
lightning rod to get people excited and everybody wants to
take it.

Speaker 9 (25:03):
That is not the right thing.

Speaker 11 (25:05):
I still think that we have to use ozepic.

Speaker 9 (25:08):
For the weight loss and all.

Speaker 11 (25:09):
Of that very judiciously and not just wholesale give this
stuff away, order it online, Like we've talked about before
and think that this is the panacea for every ill.

Speaker 9 (25:21):
That society faces.

Speaker 14 (25:23):
So all I could really say is proceed.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
With great caution.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
Yeah, you're a great doctor. Your your specialty is liver.
But I mean, as a doctor and I'm sitting in
your in your doctor's office, you still you would prefer
me to hydrate, You would prefer me to exercise, You
would prefer me to eat, you know, healthier than just
take this from when I throw clothes on look better? Right?

Speaker 14 (25:50):
No, that is true.

Speaker 11 (25:50):
And what I've written about a lot is what I
like to call the pill mentality, where you know, I've
had thousands of conversations with patients and telling them this
exact same thing, Michael, you need to eat better, exercise,
put down the diet, cokes, et cetera, et cetera, And
they look at me and they appreciate it. Then they say,
but am I going to get.

Speaker 9 (26:10):
A prescription for any of this?

Speaker 11 (26:12):
And I'm like you, just you, you have just missed
the last seven minutes of my diatribe trying to inspire
you to be a better, you know, a better human,
and they just want that kill Yeah, because the same
you could you don't want somebody walking around anything, you

(26:32):
don't want anybody.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
I'm going to go the other side of the coin,
just to be fair. If somebody is morbidly obese, getting
that weight off is definitely better. If somebody's walking around
with diabetes, you're going to want to control that or
avoid diabetes or fatty livery, you know. I mean it
has its place, But the human heart that has been
cardio and exercise and active, the muscles that are active daily,

(26:58):
the body that is hydrated is all he's going to
function longer and better.

Speaker 9 (27:02):
Oh yeah, exactly.

Speaker 11 (27:04):
And I think what it is, it's that knee jerk
reaction to say, you're a little overweight, I don't want
to put the work in, give me a drug. Well,
then you're getting to all the side effects and the
costs and things like that.

Speaker 9 (27:16):
So yes, for those that appropriately.

Speaker 11 (27:20):
Need these medicines, people with heart disease, and we've talked about,
you know, carnary artery disease and hypertension, Yes, these drugs
are a game changer, but that might be for only
the top fifteen or twenty percent.

Speaker 9 (27:35):
Rest of us, the eighty percent of.

Speaker 11 (27:37):
The mere mortals, you got to really learn how to
eat better. And get more zucchini into your diet. That's
what I would say.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Very Italian of you to go straight for the zucchini
and not the eggplant.

Speaker 11 (27:49):
I know we're not We're not fooling around here, Michael.

Speaker 1 (27:52):

Major banks thinks, so thereforecasting even higher prices ahead. And
why well, we're still forty trillion dollars in debt. We
have a declining dollar and inflation that keeps shrinking our savings.
Even with corrections along the way, gold remains a historical
hedge for wealthare protection. Maybe that's why Morgan Stanley ditch
the sixty forty stock to Bond's portfolio model. They're recommending

gonna love to close again at the Bellmont this weekend.

Speaker 1 (30:35):

Republicans united and joined with Senate Democrats to block the
President's voter id bill.

Speaker 12 (31:14):
Senator Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Mitch
McConnell of Kentucky, and Tom Tillis of North Carolina broke
ranks with Republicans on Thursday in their latest attempt to
pass the Save America Act. The federal bill would impose
new voter restrictions ahead of the November elections. Senate Republicans
tried to pass it on Thursday by attaching into a
budget package to fund ICE, which needed at least sixty

(31:37):
votes to pass.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
I'm Mark Mayfield becauthas Park was busted in the dock.

Speaker 9 (31:43):
Every dagent as teamed up with the.

Speaker 14 (31:46):
LAPD officer, and we're here to support them.

Speaker 16 (31:49):
Obviously, if there's somebody selling drugs or committing a federal crime,
we will take that, but as far as drug use,
that is in the jurisdiction of the LAPD, LAPD and
DEA agent.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
Thirteen people were taken into custody for offenses including public
drinking other quality of life violations, while officers recovered drug
paraphernalia throughout the park. Official say it's an effort in
part of a broader campaign to dismantle what is being
described as an open air drug market fueled by fentanyl
and meth.

Speaker 3 (32:20):
A final phase of.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
This initiative is expected to focus on treatment and recovery services.
Some moviegoers are having to endure their own little otysya
to try to get tickets to Christopher Nolan's latest film.

Speaker 12 (32:31):
Tickets for IMAX and other premium large format showings of

sky high demand. So many fans tried to buy tickets
that AMC had to put its ticketing app on hold.
Wait time stretched up to an hour when sales resumed.
Fandango users also reported issues when trying to buy tickets
the film starring Matt Damon, Tom Holland and Hathaway and Sandia.

Speaker 3 (32:53):
It's Theaters, July seventeenth. I'm Mark Mayfield.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
Today we're celebrating not one, but two great food products.

Speaker 13 (33:00):
He is National Donut Day, honoring the donut Lassies who
served donuts to soldiers during World War One. It won't
be hard to find a discount Bogo. Today we're also
celebrating the popular red sauce that started out as fermented fish,
but thankfully it's now just tomato based. Ketchup used to
be the number one condiment in the US, but it
was best at by salsa back in nineteen ninety one.

(33:21):
So today you have two foods to consume, just not together.
I'm Bree Tennis.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
If baseball Guardians felt two one to the Yankees, A's
lost seven to six to the Cubs. Giants out slugged
the brew Crew twelve to nine, Pirates five one over
the Astros, Phillies beat the Padres six to four and
the de Bags three two over.

Speaker 3 (33:38):
The Dad Jeers took.

Speaker 1 (33:39):

To nothing in San Antonio to take on the Spurs.
Actor Mark Wahlberg is fifty five, the Goldberg's dad, Jeff
Garlands sixty three, and saxophonist Kevin kenny g is sixty nine.
If it's your birthday, as Ashley Earhart would say, we're
so glad you were born and happy birthday.

Speaker 3 (34:10):
Thanks for making your morning show a part of that
big day, all right.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
A new national poll is out which takes a look
at how Americans feel about their country on this two
hundred and fiftieth birthday. National correspondent Rory O'Neil is here,
and I think it depends on which party you're a
registered voter.

Speaker 5 (34:24):
Up.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
Good morning, Rory, Well, good morning.

Speaker 15 (34:27):
And you know they asked, are we living up to
what's there and the Declaration of Independence that all men
have created equal with rights including life, liberty, and the
pursuit of happiness. Sixty one percent of Americas think we
are not living up to those ideals. I would argue
that could also be aspirational right that you never sort
of get that finish line, but still you're right.

Speaker 3 (34:47):
It does break down party lines.

Speaker 15 (34:49):
More Republicans seventy percent think we are living up to
those ideals, eighty seven percent of Democrats think not. Sixty
five percent of Independents also think no. And the basic
question of America's future, do we have better days ahead
or are the best days of America in the rear
view mirror? Half of Americans think America's best days are

(35:10):
yet to come, Forty one percent think those days are
behind us. And overall, they're asked, are you proud to
be an American? Seventy three percent of Americans say yes,
they are proud to be an American. Really varies by
age in that eighteen to thirty four year olds much
less so over sixty five, ninety one percent say they're
proud to be American.

Speaker 1 (35:31):
You know, I asked this question on air about fifteen
sixteen years ago, is it now politically incorrect to be patriotic?
And everybody had a reaction to that. It does seem
to follow along partisan lines. I remember a speech Paul
Harvey gave one time, and you know, it's kind of
pessimistic at the time, the older to get. Really, the
more optimistic you get. Wisdom gives you that perspective. But

(35:52):
that's what it really boils down. Do we think our
best days are ahead? What are we measured by? What's
the scoreboard? I think all of our home for this
two hundred and fiftieth birthday was that we would go
back to our intent and our original documents and reacquaint
ourselves that out of many one and together united, we're
a far more better country. Hoping this would become a

(36:14):
healing process, I'm not seeing it just quite yet. And
this survey doesn't help you feel any better. Rory's going
to because along with the weekend dive, you can catch
it on many iHeart stations or just search it into
your iHeart app.

Speaker 3 (36:27):
And we'll talk again to Rory next week.

Speaker 1 (36:28):
All right, one chance to live this Friday, June the fifth.
You're about Lord twenty twenty sixth. It will never happen again.
Make a difference in someone's life, cherish your own, and
we'll see you on Monday morning.
