a LOLd twenty twenty six. The President saying, the Iranian
government is come sick people, led by sick people. They're vicious,
violent people. As far as I'm concerned, it's a waste
of time dealing with them. They're liars, they're cuckoo. That's

what I've been saying all along. Their radical Islamist jihadists.
They have a fourteen hundred year inspiration and history. This
is why a peace agreement with them wouldn't have been
worth the paper was written on, well, welcome to the party,
mister president. This is why it's important to physically and
with strength reopen and keep open the strait of removed

no matter what it takes, and whether you exterminate or
like pest control, keep them in line in the meantime.
That's how you're going to have to deal with them.
The fragile peace agreement. Finally the president has figured it
out and appears to be over. Our national correspondent Roy
and Neil's been finding this story. They fired upon cargo ships,

we took strategic care strikes and so much for the ceasefire.

We knew this was coming. Yeah, it seemed inevitable. There
was no progress being made on trying to get beyond
the MoU. But when asked while in Ankara, Turkey at
the NATO summit, whether or not the ceasefire was over,
the President seemed to say, yes, it is over.

And as you reference to.

You called the Irani leadership quote scum, saying it is
impossible to get a deal because you get an agreement
at the on one hand, and yet they go public
and say there is no such agreement. So clearly the
President has been frustrated by this back and forth, and
I think now everyone's frustrated, Like, what is the path
forward as you laid out, doesn't mean a permanent US

presence in the strait of hoar moves going forward? And
do we get our NATO allies to help out with that?
It's probably going to be the mean topic of discussion.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Well yeah, and politically obviously it we'd be better if
it was some type of a world coalition and not
just America that kept the Strait of horror moves open
just for political sake. But while everyone was asleep to
US striking a dozens of targets in and around Iran
as well as reimposing all sanctions and they will no

longer be allowed to sell any crude oil, so more
pain for Iran too. But yeah, where do we move
forward with this? I mean, if the President was trying
to send a message, he was doing everything he could
to be reasonable for the good of the people of Iran.
I mean, the reality is there's more revolutionary guard that

needs to be weakened and taken out so that the
people could potentially choose a regime change. But the assumption
has to be there will be no regime change. And
this is how you will control and keep the straight
of horm moves open. And this regime held back from
being a threat to the region of the world. It's
just that simple. I was here four months ago. It's
nice to see the president join us.

Yeah. Did we miss the opportunity then?

Should we have been more quick to respond and help
with the insurgency crowd back in December and January?

And because our strikeths didn't happen until late February.

Yeah, And again now in the meantime four months later, Israel,
who was a key partner in everything that was carried
out tactically and strategically such precision, is now being made
the bad guy. So that plays out in this new
era as well? Or does this allow that to begin

to heal? Time? Time will tell, dysfunctionally, Your other big
story today is the population of the United States is shrinking.
I keep bringing up this birth crisis in America, what
has caused it and what the reality will be for
a workforce and entitlement programs. It's a clear and present
economic danger. And note I said present. Tell us what
(04:33):
you say, what you see in this key age group.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
Sure, this is a census data that shows.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
The population of a very important demographic, the most important demographic.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
My demographic is actually shrinking.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
The number of people in the US ages forty five
to sixty four is declining. Three point two percent is
the decrease over the past four years. And you look,
who cares, I went from eighty four million to eighty
one million. Thing is forty five to sixty four that's
the peak earning years, and that's the peak time you're
paying taxes. So that's an important demographic to be seen shrinking.
(05:10):
Right now, we've seen that the under sixteen population also
falling by two point four percent, while the sixty five
and older population grew sixteen percent during that time frame
from twenty twenty to twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Now, this is this population in general or working population
general in general. Where'd they go?
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Well, they're just aging out, so they're shifting to sixty
four plus. So it's essentially the older exers and the
younger boomers are now all going over the ages or
not all, but are more of them are now over
the age of sixty five, so that they're transitioning out
of that forty five to sixty five.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
I don't know how much time you have. I don't
know how much I do have time today. Okay, I
was just going to say, because as we get to
be and I'm not, so don't even go there with
your criticism and your critical Sure, but when I get
to be sixty seven, even if I'm still a high earner,
I can collect without penalty by Social Security and earn
as much as I want. So there's a decline of
(06:13):
an age group right now. I have fed those that
are in their seventies and eighties. Who's going to feed me?
You know? That's where the entitlement program hits first. And then,
of course I think the tax base. We're already forty
trillion in debt. Come on, but we have a spending problem,
not a revenue problem. We're about to have a revenue
problem too, is the boy.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
This is the Sandwich generation, the people who are taking
care of parents and taking care of their kids, the
forty five to sixty four they're the ones now who
are a declining population, which has all sorts of ramifications,
as you said, from the taxes they pay, to the
entitlement programs they fund, even taking care of kids.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
Yeah, I guess the point I was trying to make
is that that is an immediate turbulence, if you will.
But what's coming in the younger generation where we've really
had a birth in crisis for fears of global warming,
because of abortion, because of you know, all this other stuff, isolations,
selfishness and so on. That's when it becomes incapable of

That's when he collaps us.

And overall, the median age is up about one year.
So from April of twenty twenty, the median age was
thirty eight point six. Now it's thirty nine point four,
so we are getting a little bit older as well.

Yeah, and the left wants to solve that with immigration
and open borders, and the right wants to solve that
with trying to you know, revisit the family and morals,
and of course the two can never agree on anything.
So this time bomb keeps ticking. Roy great reporting. We'll

to Iranian attacks on three commercial vessels that were transitting
the Straight. SAMCOM said Iran violated the ceasefire by hitting
the commercial vessels. SAMCOM did not say where the strengths

Iranian cities on the coast of the Strait.

targets overnight in Iran. They've reimposed sanctions on oil sales
after several cargo ships were targeted in the Strait of
Horn Moves by Iranian missiles. The ceasefire is over. We
do have some drama. The calls for the main Senate candidate,
Graham Platner to drop out of the race have grown,
including Bernie Sanders, but the plot thickens Graham says he's

not going anywhere unless he picks the candidate, and the
ball is in his court. They created this monster and
he still will have the final say, and if he
refuses to go away, that's a problem for Democrats in Maine. Meanwhile,
what is the condition of Mitch McConnell. Is he dead?
Who will replace him? Who can make the choice of

replacing him? More on that coming up in minutes. And
the President, of course, had some harsh words to say
about Iran. We've kind of gone over those with you
as far as he's concerned. They're liars, there's something wrong
with them. They're cuckoo, they're scum, they're sick people, they're vicious,

he had a lot to say about Iran and Spain.

Well, with Spain, the President suggested maybe blocking individuals traveling
to the US coming from Spain. I don't know how
that would work, but as it relates to Iran, there's
where most of the news was made this morning. The
President ending that memorandum of understanding, the President as you
just pointed out, Mike having some choice words as it
(18:55):
relates to the Iranian leadership, calling them every name in
the book and saying he wants to essentially take Iran
out militarily, He's not going to pursue diplomacy in terms
of ending that conflict.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
He called them everything but Shia, radical Islamist, Mohammed Dian,
she hottest fundamentals, which we have a fourteen hundred year
history with. I would hope that this isn't news to
the president. This is why many of us thought even
a memorandum of understanding was a joke, let alone a
peace agreement was a joke. It wouldn't be worth the
(19:31):
paper was written on even if they signed it. But
where do we go from here? It becomes the next question. Well,
that's right, you know.
Speaker 16 (19:38):
I mean, I've asked questions to the President, to the
Vice President about Iran, whether they can be trusted, and
you know, I think the President has now come to
the conclusion that they can't be trusted, that their word
is not something that can be honored, and so.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
Where do we go from here? Very good question.
Speaker 16 (19:53):
You know, I think that we saw the reaction to
the President's remarks immediately in the oil markets, oil went
up six percent immediately to seventy eight dollars a barrel.
It's not good news in terms of getting cargo ships,
oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz that now remains
a waterway in which traffic cannot easily move forward without
(20:17):
concern about an attack from Iran, whether it's from one
of their boats, one of their missiles, one of their drones.
In any case, it's pretty clear that no oil company
is going to one to risk their precious cargo going
through the Strait of Hormuz right now.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Well, I wasn't born yesterday. I was born in August
of nineteen sixty four, so I won't pretend to be
born yesterday. Obviously, you're at a NATO's summit. Has it
dawned on anybody to put together a coalition to open
and maintain open the Strait of Hormuz so the US
doesn't have to do this alone.
Speaker 16 (20:52):
Well, I don't think that the US could do that
with NATO because NATO's a defense alliance. So if that
were to happen, it would be with individual countries stepping
up to help in that effort. And we'll see whether
any countries want to do that. You know, there are
a significant number of countries in NATO that get a
significant amount of their energy needs from the Middle East,
(21:13):
so that they're very much impacted by the Strait up
vermus being shut down in the way it's been shut
down over the course of the past four months.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
Yeah, I mean, I'm glad you made that distinction. But
the point is they're all there at the NATO summit.
If you want to meet with him on that. He
has already put together a great coalition with Muslim interb
nations that could also join in that effort. But clearly,
whether it's physical boots on an island or you know,
escorts in the Strait, maintaining that straight open and continuing
precision bombing is what lies ahead, right Well.
Speaker 16 (21:45):
That's right, Yeah, for the immediate future, that is correct.
You know, that's the reason why we saw oil markets
react the way they did, and it's the reason why
as things stand today, there are no next new scheduled
in any way involving the United States and Iran.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
I want to let you go because I know you've
got other people to report to, but I never try
to get personal opinion because I know you're a reporter
first and foremost, but do you there's something's off here.
I don't think the President ever really was this ignorant
on Iran. He was either trying to put a band
aid on this until after the midterms, but that band
aid's been ripped at this point.
Speaker 16 (22:25):
But yeah, I mean, look, I think based upon the
words that the President said just within the past few hours,
he's just fed up.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
You're right.
Speaker 16 (22:35):
I think that he knows full well that Iran is
a regime that cannot be trusted, and the leadership of
Iran cannot be trusted, but he's willing to give diplomacy
a chance, and clearly, given the strikes that Iran has
launched against US interests in the region just over the
course of the past two days, he's fed up to
the point where he says that memorandum of understanding signed
(22:58):
just a few weeks ago is no longer in effect.

That's what the President says. Yeah, we're at or else

the same time. That's been like that since day one
of this world. The elderly have lived with their children,
and those children took care of the babies. That's the
way it's always been. This idea of a nuclear family

Listen, I grew up in a family. In my very
early childhood, or not to get too much information, my
mom would leave my dad and we would move in
with my grandmother halfway across the country. That happened on
five occasions. Five and then once we settled in New Orleans,

my grandmother lived with us, moved from Syracuse, New York
to live with us. Yeah, that happen. But Americans are
living longer but not living healthy, and the cost of
health care and long term care has risen. So the
Sandwich generation now is having to do Look I did
for three years, I see you nursing care for my mother,
(25:20):
and then it got to a point where I couldn't
do it. So now you're looking at I think what
they're looking at is the expense. It's not that Grandma
is now living with the family. It's a Gramma needs
nursing care that is unaffordable, or long term care that
is unaffordable. That's why I say if I could, if
(25:41):
I could give any young person advice, it would be
not to worry about what you do for a living,
but who you're going to be. The second advice would
be very well because if you don't marry well, nothing
else in life works out. Then the tertiary things would
be investing in a four oh one k as early
(26:01):
as possible and as much as possible, and resist any
urge to ever touch it. And the fourth biggest advice
I would give to a young persons get long term care. No,
it's a little different now than it was when we
were growing up. I know because I've lived them both.

and say there is no such agreement. So clearly the
President has been frustrated by this back and forth, and

forward as you laid out, doesn't mean a permanent US

presence in the strait of hoar moves going forward? And
do we get our NATO allies to help out with that?
It's probably going to be the mean topic of discussion.

Well yeah, and politically obviously it we'd be better if
it was some type of a world coalition and not
just America that kept the Strait of horror moves open
just for political sake. But while everyone was asleep to
US striking a dozens of targets in and around Iran
as well as reimposing all sanctions and they will no

longer be allowed to sell any crude oil, so more
pain for Iran too. But yeah, where do we move
forward with this? I mean, if the President was trying
to send a message, he was doing everything he could
to be reasonable for the good of the people of Iran.
I mean, the reality is there's more revolutionary guard that

needs to be weakened and taken out so that the
people could potentially choose a regime change. But the assumption
has to be there will be no regime change. And
this is how you will control and keep the straight
of horm moves open. And this regime held back from
being a threat to the region of the world. It's
just that simple. I was here four months ago. It's
nice to see the president join us.

Yeah. Did we miss the opportunity then?

Should we have been more quick to respond and help
with the insurgency crowd back in December and January?

out tactically and strategically such precision, is now being made
the bad guy. So that plays out in this new

story today is the population of the United States is shrinking.
I keep bringing up this birth crisis in America, what
has caused it and what the reality will be for
a workforce and entitlement programs. It's a clear and present
economic danger. And note I said present. Tell us what

you say, what you see in this key age group.

Sure, this is a census data that shows.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
The population of a very important demographic, the most important demographic.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
My demographic is actually shrinking.

The number of people in the US ages forty five
to sixty four is declining. Three point two percent is
the decrease over the past four years. And you look,
who cares, I went from eighty four million to eighty
one million. Thing is forty five to sixty four that's
the peak earning years, and that's the peak time you're
paying taxes. So that's an important demographic to be seen shrinking.
(05:10):
Right now, we've seen that the under sixteen population also
falling by two point four percent, while the sixty five
and older population grew sixteen percent during that time frame
from twenty twenty to twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Now, this is this population in general or working population
general in general. Where'd they go?
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Well, they're just aging out, so they're shifting to sixty
four plus. So it's essentially the older exers and the
younger boomers are now all going over the ages or
not all, but are more of them are now over
the age of sixty five, so that they're transitioning out
of that forty five to sixty five.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
I don't know how much time you have. I don't
know how much I do have time today. Okay, I
was just going to say, because as we get to
be and I'm not, so don't even go there with
your criticism and your critical Sure, but when I get
to be sixty seven, even if I'm still a high earner,
I can collect without penalty by Social Security and earn
as much as I want. So there's a decline of
(06:13):
an age group right now. I have fed those that
are in their seventies and eighties. Who's going to feed me?
You know? That's where the entitlement program hits first. And then,
of course I think the tax base. We're already forty
trillion in debt. Come on, but we have a spending problem,
not a revenue problem. We're about to have a revenue
problem too, is the boy.

This is the Sandwich generation, the people who are taking
care of parents and taking care of their kids, the
forty five to sixty four they're the ones now who
are a declining population, which has all sorts of ramifications,
as you said, from the taxes they pay, to the
entitlement programs they fund, even taking care of kids.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
Yeah, I guess the point I was trying to make
is that that is an immediate turbulence, if you will.
But what's coming in the younger generation where we've really
had a birth in crisis for fears of global warming,
because of abortion, because of you know, all this other stuff, isolations,
selfishness and so on. That's when it becomes incapable of

That's when he collaps us.

And overall, the median age is up about one year.
So from April of twenty twenty, the median age was
thirty eight point six. Now it's thirty nine point four,
so we are getting a little bit older as well.

Yeah, and the left wants to solve that with immigration
and open borders, and the right wants to solve that
with trying to you know, revisit the family and morals,
and of course the two can never agree on anything.

what is the condition of Mitch McConnell. Is he dead?
Who will replace him? Who can make the choice of

replacing him? More on that coming up in minutes. And
the President, of course, had some harsh words to say
about Iran. We've kind of gone over those with you
as far as he's concerned. They're liars, there's something wrong
with them. They're cuckoo, they're scum, they're sick people, they're vicious,
they're violent people. Do I have them all in? John
Decker's in Turkey covering the President at the summer and
(18:28):
he had a lot to say about Iran and Spain.
Good morning, John, Yeah, good morning.
Speaker 16 (18:32):
Well, with Spain, the President suggested maybe blocking individuals traveling
to the US coming from Spain. I don't know how
that would work, but as it relates to Iran, there's
where most of the news was made this morning. The
President ending that memorandum of understanding, the President as you
just pointed out, Mike having some choice words as it
(18:55):
relates to the Iranian leadership, calling them every name in
the book and saying he wants to essentially take Iran
out militarily, He's not going to pursue diplomacy in terms
of ending that conflict.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
He called them everything but Shia, radical Islamist, Mohammed Dian,
she hottest fundamentals, which we have a fourteen hundred year
history with. I would hope that this isn't news to
the president. This is why many of us thought even
a memorandum of understanding was a joke, let alone a
peace agreement was a joke. It wouldn't be worth the
(19:31):
paper was written on even if they signed it. But
where do we go from here? It becomes the next question. Well,
that's right, you know.
Speaker 16 (19:38):
I mean, I've asked questions to the President, to the
Vice President about Iran, whether they can be trusted, and
you know, I think the President has now come to
the conclusion that they can't be trusted, that their word
is not something that can be honored, and so.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
Where do we go from here? Very good question.
Speaker 16 (19:53):
You know, I think that we saw the reaction to
the President's remarks immediately in the oil markets, oil went
up six percent immediately to seventy eight dollars a barrel.
It's not good news in terms of getting cargo ships,
oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz that now remains
a waterway in which traffic cannot easily move forward without
(20:17):
concern about an attack from Iran, whether it's from one
of their boats, one of their missiles, one of their drones.
In any case, it's pretty clear that no oil company
is going to one to risk their precious cargo going
through the Strait of Hormuz right now.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Well, I wasn't born yesterday. I was born in August
of nineteen sixty four, so I won't pretend to be
born yesterday. Obviously, you're at a NATO's summit. Has it
dawned on anybody to put together a coalition to open
and maintain open the Strait of Hormuz so the US
doesn't have to do this alone.
Speaker 16 (20:52):
Well, I don't think that the US could do that
with NATO because NATO's a defense alliance. So if that
were to happen, it would be with individual countries stepping
up to help in that effort. And we'll see whether
any countries want to do that. You know, there are
a significant number of countries in NATO that get a
significant amount of their energy needs from the Middle East,
(21:13):
so that they're very much impacted by the Strait up
vermus being shut down in the way it's been shut
down over the course of the past four months.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
Yeah, I mean, I'm glad you made that distinction. But
the point is they're all there at the NATO summit.
If you want to meet with him on that. He
has already put together a great coalition with Muslim interb
nations that could also join in that effort. But clearly,
whether it's physical boots on an island or you know,
escorts in the Strait, maintaining that straight open and continuing
precision bombing is what lies ahead, right Well.
Speaker 16 (21:45):
That's right, Yeah, for the immediate future, that is correct.
You know, that's the reason why we saw oil markets
react the way they did, and it's the reason why
as things stand today, there are no next new scheduled
in any way involving the United States and Iran.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
I want to let you go because I know you've
got other people to report to, but I never try
to get personal opinion because I know you're a reporter
first and foremost, but do you there's something's off here.
I don't think the President ever really was this ignorant
on Iran. He was either trying to put a band
aid on this until after the midterms, but that band
aid's been ripped at this point.
Speaker 16 (22:25):
But yeah, I mean, look, I think based upon the
words that the President said just within the past few hours,
he's just fed up.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
You're right.
Speaker 16 (22:35):
I think that he knows full well that Iran is
a regime that cannot be trusted, and the leadership of
Iran cannot be trusted, but he's willing to give diplomacy
a chance, and clearly, given the strikes that Iran has
launched against US interests in the region just over the
course of the past two days, he's fed up to
the point where he says that memorandum of understanding signed
(22:58):
just a few weeks ago is no longer in effect.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
That's what the President says. Yeah, we're at or else

of this world. The elderly have lived with their children,
and those children took care of the babies. That's the

Listen, I grew up in a family. In my very
early childhood, or not to get too much information, my
mom would leave my dad and we would move in
with my grandmother halfway across the country. That happened on
five occasions. Five and then once we settled in New Orleans,

my grandmother lived with us, moved from Syracuse, New York
to live with us. Yeah, that happen. But Americans are
living longer but not living healthy, and the cost of
health care and long term care has risen. So the
Sandwich generation now is having to do Look I did
for three years, I see you nursing care for my mother,

and then it got to a point where I couldn't
do it. So now you're looking at I think what
they're looking at is the expense. It's not that Grandma
is now living with the family. It's a Gramma needs
nursing care that is unaffordable, or long term care that
is unaffordable. That's why I say if I could, if
(25:41):
I could give any young person advice, it would be
not to worry about what you do for a living,
but who you're going to be. The second advice would
be very well because if you don't marry well, nothing
else in life works out. Then the tertiary things would
be investing in a four oh one k as early
(26:01):
as possible and as much as possible, and resist any
urge to ever touch it. And the fourth biggest advice
I would give to a young persons get long term care. No,
it's a little different now than it was when we
were growing up. I know because I've lived them both.

Scott Jennings it was reported spoke to Mitch McConnell yesterday
the Bench. McConnell is not dead. There's no appointment coming,

there's no special election coming. He will retire at the
end of his term and they will have a general election,
a primary, and a general election. That will all go
down as it goes down. I guess I don't know.
If the primaries happen, they may have a general and
then the new person takes office. So again, all this
speculation is assuming he's brain dead or dead or going

to die, neither of which seemed to be true at

have been a great focus a decade ago. But the
squad is here and that elephants nos Is in the tent.
But now they're bedfellows with radical, dangerous Islamis. You've got
