tough choices. Last night was one of those. I won't
have any problem going to bed tonight and missing the
All Star Game. But the home run Derby is always special.
The new format made it extra special, and the way
it came down to Jordan Walker and Kyle Schwarber in
his home park made it unmissible. I lost a lot

of sleep, but I'm glad I saw it, Rory. That's
just a part of a long week of really really
big sporting events. This is a pretty special July. Yeah,
but I don't have Netflix. I missed it. Oh you
have Netflix. You seriously don't know. Why don't you have Netflix.

I put myself in a financial diet of going one
streaming service at a time.

At a time, Well, next year, of course, it was
there was a two years, when's the Women's World Cup?
Two years that's going to be exclusively on Netflix. So
you're going to have to bite the bullet, all right.
But my dad, my dad called and said to Michael,
watch this home run Derby and it says nineteen ninety six.

I have a Direct Direct TV, and I go, oh boy.
But for those that had Netflix and watched it, it
was it was just the greatest I've ever seen. Well,

Was some of the complaints. But otherwise what exactly happened
there in Philly. Everyone seems to be pleased with the
results from last night. Of course, looking forward to the
All Star Game tonight, which will be on Fox, regular
old TV. Fox is going to have quite the day
with the France versus Spain match then leading up to
the All Star Game, so it should be quite the

show and as you said, quite a sports week. We've
got the British Open or the Open coming up this
week as well. Just got through the Wimbledon tournament. So yeah,
the DVR is smoking this week with our with our
early schedules. Yeah, All Star Game not what it used
to be. Home Run Derby was better than ever, but
hidden on Netflix. The other thing is it's a Pastille
Day and France has taken on Spain. I mean wow,

and then tomorrow I actually love France in a row.
I really think they'll they'll win relatively easy against Spain.
I got England really beating Argentina. But France about what
France has not giving up a goal?

Right? The francis just anybody that looks like I haven't
seen anybody play like that that they just I'm far
and away the best. So yeah, World Cup semi finals.
You never say the British Open, that's assumed. It's just
the Open, the Open Championship. Now we have the US
Open and you're free to add to that, but the Open,

it's the yes, and it'll be at the all new,
renovated and reopened Royal Birkdale Golf Club in England, so
that'll be interesting. One hundred and fifty fourth Open. The
only I haven't looked at the weather for the week.
I used to always joke I like to watch the
Open because it looks like an ugly golf course like

we play. But they are far from ugly, and I've
grown to find them beautiful and they are hard. So
the one hundred and fifty fourth Open semi finals of

completed its strikes against Iran's military targets for the third
consecutive night. I mentioned we had one of our Twin

that they have? Where these keep coming from? I thought

Colonel Stephen Buci about the targets, about the plan and
if ever an end is in sight or is this
the new end? But third night of strikes. Fox and
Friends loves if they're not doing something really stupid and silly.
They love to show you things blowing up and they
get all the military footage. Tehran hit two oil tankers

in the Straight of Horn moves, which triggered fresh missile
alerts in Bahrain. US Central Commands said it had completed
the latest wave of strikes against Iran. The five hour
mission struck military targets across the country and further degraded
Iran's ability to attack commercial shipping, saidcam said in a statement. Again,
this is taking out any offensive capabilities. The President has

been pretty clear. And again this whole segment ends. The
President's going to address the nation Thursday night. This is
something that's been necessary for a long time. Nut Gingrich
is in our Sounds of the Day. Newton is going
to draw upon history and Abraham Lincoln an attack to
key used. And it's basically how the President is playing
this out like a like a slow snake strangling, if

you will. And it's keeping Iran alienated, and it's keeping
everybody angry with Iran. So the President first established those
very deep relationships with United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, you know,
some of these Arab and Muslim nations. But you know,
for the rest of the world, it's relying mostly on

its energy from this Strait of Hormuz area, it's isolated.
All the anger towards Iran. You'll see today one of
the stories. It's kind of buried, but it's there. Is
Iran is trying to say, well, we've controlled the Strait
of horror moves, you should be cutting these deals with us.
We'll never ask for twenty percent, And they just don't
have any say because they've lost trust. Nobody wants to

trust the Strait of Hormuz to terrorists with a clear
motive of disruption, So this takes away their ability to
continue to strike. I think the ultimate answer this is
everything I've been waiting for the President to do, you know,

becomes pest control at this point. But you secure the
Strait of Hormuz period, end of story, and whatever it takes.
So what all the endgame is to this, or the
reality of this, or is piece even possible or just
peace through strength will find out Thursday when the President
addresses the nation. We're going to take over the straight,

according to the President, and we'll be reimbursed at a
rate of twenty percent on all cargo ships for overseeing
one of the world's most critical oil passageways. Will become
guardians of the Strait. Trump said during an interview with
Fox and Friends, We're going to hit around very hard,

and we're going to keep the straight and probably run it.
And we've been taken advantage of for a long time,
so we're not going to allow that to happen. We're
going to charge twenty percent keeping it open consistently and
the reality and the perception that it is safe save

for the insurance companies to allow the ships, save for
the captains to drive the ships, and it will take,
you know, every day. We'll build upon that trust. So
you got to get it open. You can't just say
it's open. It's got to stay open without any attacks.
What kind of military force will that take? What kind

are speaking on primetime to the American people on the
issue of war, the tactics can't be a part of this.
So if he's been doing something really clever, you can

explain it now, But I mean, this can't be a
tactic and part of clever events. The American people need
to be educated on this enemy, and I'd be very
interested to hear how the President identifies the enemy. He
continues to address them as a problem since the nineteen seventies,

not the six hundreds. That's kind of been my problem
with the President on this. Hope he gets it straight
by Thursday night, all right, seventeen minutes after the hourf
you're just waking up, and we come back not one,

people are breathing in the mist that these cooling towers
that come from these cooling towers that they make and
they're breathing it in and it's contaminated and then they're

getting sick. So at least sixty cases, that's the official
number so far, but it is because it keeps its
slowed down in the past few days, Michael, but we've
definitely seen fifteen people currently hospitalized, and a lot of
people here in New York when you go around the
streets asking them like, that's what that's what.

There are more than one hundred and sixty cooling towers
within within a few block radius, and people are like, well,
if you're waiting to see how many cooling towers have
this bacteria, why don't you just.

can't just clean them all.

dollar loss in revenue. So you know, something tells me

You're right, Actually, I we have been having some Netflix issues.
We had to resign up for it last night. Actually
do like to watch the home Run Derby.

That's why my audience love you exactly. And I was thrilled.

I was so shocked by some of them don't even
look like they're putting a lot of pressure, like a
lot of effort into it. They just make it look
so easy, Michael.

They make it look so easy, you know. And the
same could be set in golf too. By the way,
relaxed arms is what creates whip and that creates distance.
People get so tense over the ball, that's why they
can't hit it far. I thought the best example was
Jordan Walker. Jordan Walker, and it was all the talk
if you were watching. He just he came in with
one strategy, relaxation, and he just was effortly, but he

was hitting line drives that were going out of the park,
not these big giant towering and he ends up winning
it over Kyle Schwarber and I thought early on Contreras
Rice was a bit of a disappointment for Yankees fans,
But yeah he was. He was.

You know, that's that's me right, I'm a Yankees fan.

I have to say.

I just felt like I could see him visibly putting
pressure on himself. Though some of these guys walked up,

I was like, why is he so stressed out?

He's stuffing me out. You know, he was pretty jacked
up and hit a lot of ground balls because of it.
I'll never forget Emmitt Smith, who you know, Walter Payton
will always be the greatest running back I lived and saw,
and I saw O J. Simpson. I did not see
Jim Brown, but I just always felt the way. Then
Nemtsmith ends up being the all time leader and then

goes on Dancing with the Stars a few years later
and wins the Mirror Ball Trophy and literally looks into
the Cameron says, this is the greatest moment of my life.
This is the highest achievement I'm thinking, you've won three
Super Bowls, you're the all time leading rusher in the
National Football League. You go on a television dance and
he really that's how they get sucked into it. The

look on Kyle Schwarber's face last night told it all.
He wanted that his teammate robbed him of it. A
few years ago, he thought he had it in the bag.
He had eleven home runs and then Walker sitting there
with just six. I mean, nobody could hit the magenta ball.
He would have had to hit at least three of
those out in order to win two to tie. That

hasn't happened all night long. And the guy hit six
straight home runs and just steals it from Swarby. It
was pretty remarkable. It was worth only sleeping four hours. Well,

mom dummy in New York and Chicago. I still never

could watch the home run derby last night, but again
became aggravated with MLB and the owners for thinking only

So earlier I talked about and I used this analogym
and trying to be really brief. Think of you listening
to me right now. Who's listening to me on a

to me later in the day, or maybe it's the
middle of the night tomorrow. I don't know, it could
be a month from now. I mean, that's just the

we used to think boy cable was expensive. Now you
have to have cable or satellite plus Netflix plus Paramount
plus Prime plus Apple. And then we all start playing

the game where one will have two shows we like,

I used to always joke I like to watch the

completed its strikes against Iran's military targets for the third
consecutive night. I mentioned we had one of our Twin
City listeners say, you know how many of these targets
that they have? Where these keep coming from? I thought
we had removed them all. We're going to visit with

Colonel Stephen Buci about the targets, about the plan and
if ever an end is in sight or is this
the new end? But third night of strikes. Fox and
Friends loves if they're not doing something really stupid and silly.
They love to show you things blowing up and they
get all the military footage. Tehran hit two oil tankers

in the Straight of Horn moves, which triggered fresh missile
alerts in Bahrain. US Central Commands said it had completed
the latest wave of strikes against Iran. The five hour
mission struck military targets across the country and further degraded
Iran's ability to attack commercial shipping, saidcam said in a statement. Again,
this is taking out any offensive capabilities. The President has

been pretty clear. And again this whole segment ends. The
President's going to address the nation Thursday night. This is
something that's been necessary for a long time. Nut Gingrich
is in our Sounds of the Day. Newton is going
to draw upon history and Abraham Lincoln an attack to
key used. And it's basically how the President is playing
this out like a like a slow snake strangling, if
(06:34):
you will. And it's keeping Iran alienated, and it's keeping
everybody angry with Iran. So the President first established those
very deep relationships with United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, you know,
some of these Arab and Muslim nations. But you know,
for the rest of the world, it's relying mostly on
(06:56):
its energy from this Strait of Hormuz area, it's isolated.
All the anger towards Iran. You'll see today one of
the stories. It's kind of buried, but it's there. Is
Iran is trying to say, well, we've controlled the Strait
of horror moves, you should be cutting these deals with us.
We'll never ask for twenty percent, And they just don't
have any say because they've lost trust. Nobody wants to
(07:18):
trust the Strait of Hormuz to terrorists with a clear
motive of disruption, So this takes away their ability to
continue to strike. I think the ultimate answer this is
everything I've been waiting for the President to do, you know,
(07:40):
becomes pest control at this point. But you secure the
Strait of Hormuz period, end of story, and whatever it takes.
So what all the endgame is to this, or the
reality of this, or is piece even possible or just
peace through strength will find out Thursday when the President
addresses the nation. We're going to take over the straight,
(08:09):
according to the President, and we'll be reimbursed at a
rate of twenty percent on all cargo ships for overseeing
one of the world's most critical oil passageways. Will become
guardians of the Strait. Trump said during an interview with
Fox and Friends, We're going to hit around very hard,
(08:30):
and we're going to keep the straight and probably run it.
And we've been taken advantage of for a long time,
so we're not going to allow that to happen. We're
going to charge twenty percent keeping it open consistently and
the reality and the perception that it is safe save
(08:50):
for the insurance companies to allow the ships, save for
the captains to drive the ships, and it will take,
you know, every day. We'll build upon that trust. So
you got to get it open. You can't just say
it's open. It's got to stay open without any attacks.
What kind of military force will that take? What kind
of And he's also reinforcing the blockade, so they go
(09:14):
back to having no way to commerce. I mean, I
will tell you there is no way out for I
ran in this situation. However, they're terrorists, so they don't
care if there's a way out, And as long as
one's still breathing and their heart's still beating, they're going
to be fighting and causing trouble. They're going to kill

you or you're gonna kill them. They're gonna defeat you,
or you're going to defeat them, but surrender. I don't
think it's in their DNA. President will deliver a primetime
speech at nine pm Eastern Time on Thursday, and we
presume that is either going to be from the Oval Office,
which I think would be most appropriate, and then we

hope there's kind of explanation that the American people have
deserved all along. And I think at the point you
are speaking on primetime to the American people on the
issue of war, the tactics can't be a part of this.
So if he's been doing something really clever, you can

explain it now, But I mean, this can't be a
tactic and part of clever events. The American people need
to be educated on this enemy, and I'd be very
interested to hear how the President identifies the enemy. He
continues to address them as a problem since the nineteen seventies,
(10:45):
not the six hundreds. That's kind of been my problem
with the President on this. Hope he gets it straight
by Thursday night, all right, seventeen minutes after the hourf
you're just waking up, and we come back not one,

that come from these cooling towers that they make and
they're breathing it in and it's contaminated and then they're

getting sick. So at least sixty cases, that's the official
number so far, but it is because it keeps its
slowed down in the past few days, Michael, but we've
definitely seen fifteen people currently hospitalized, and a lot of
people here in New York when you go around the
streets asking them like, that's what that's what.

There are more than one hundred and sixty cooling towers
within within a few block radius, and people are like, well,
if you're waiting to see how many cooling towers have
this bacteria, why don't you just.

Like why can't you? People want to know why they
can't just clean them all.

By the way, this is New York City where mom

the excess has been so bad there's an eleven billion
dollar loss in revenue. So you know, something tells me

I was so shocked by some of them don't even
look like they're putting a lot of pressure, like a
lot of effort into it. They just make it look
so easy, Michael.

They make it look so easy, you know. And the
same could be set in golf too. By the way,
relaxed arms is what creates whip and that creates distance.
People get so tense over the ball, that's why they
can't hit it far. I thought the best example was
Jordan Walker. Jordan Walker, and it was all the talk
if you were watching. He just he came in with
one strategy, relaxation, and he just was effortly, but he

was hitting line drives that were going out of the park,
not these big giant towering and he ends up winning
it over Kyle Schwarber and I thought early on Contreras
Rice was a bit of a disappointment for Yankees fans,
But yeah he was. He was.

You know, that's that's me right, I'm a Yankees fan.

I just felt like I could see him visibly putting
pressure on himself. Though some of these guys walked up,

in batting practice, Michael like they were, so they seemed
so relaxed. And then ben Rice got up there and
I was like, why is he so stressed out?

He's stuffing me out. You know, he was pretty jacked
up and hit a lot of ground balls because of it.
I'll never forget Emmitt Smith, who you know, Walter Payton
will always be the greatest running back I lived and saw,
and I saw O J. Simpson. I did not see
Jim Brown, but I just always felt the way. Then
Nemtsmith ends up being the all time leader and then

goes on Dancing with the Stars a few years later
and wins the Mirror Ball Trophy and literally looks into
the Cameron says, this is the greatest moment of my life.
This is the highest achievement I'm thinking, you've won three
Super Bowls, you're the all time leading rusher in the
National Football League. You go on a television dance and
he really that's how they get sucked into it. The

look on Kyle Schwarber's face last night told it all.
He wanted that his teammate robbed him of it. A
few years ago, he thought he had it in the bag.
He had eleven home runs and then Walker sitting there

those out in order to win two to tie. That

hasn't happened all night long. And the guy hit six
straight home runs and just steals it from Swarby. It

could watch the home run derby last night, but again
became aggravated with MLB and the owners for thinking only
of themselves and not about expanding the love of the game.

So earlier I talked about and I used this analogym
and trying to be really brief. Think of you listening
to me right now. Who's listening to me on a
radio at home, who's listening to me listening to me
right now on a radio in a car, who's listening
on their phone, who's listening on their cater right now?
Who's not even listening to me right now. You're listening

to me later in the day, or maybe it's the
middle of the night tomorrow. I don't know, it could
be a month from now. I mean, that's just the
delivery systems we're used to and it's not you know,
we used to think boy cable was expensive. Now you
have to have cable or satellite plus Netflix plus Paramount
plus Prime plus Apple. And then we all start playing

the game where one will have two shows we like,
when we watch them, then we cancel them, then we
come back when the next season if they have it,
that whole game. But it's up to Major League Baseball.
Valerie makes the point of the day when you think
of anybody who loves the game of baseball, probably over fifty,

and they're not going to be as accessible. So that's
a ploy that's a partnership with Major League Baseball and
Netflix to force you to subscribe, and it's very inco
it to your fan base. And look, did you notice
the All Star Games on Fox tonight? But the home
run Derby was Netflix. They even took the one event

you care most about more than the All Star Game
because that's really superseded the actual game now, and that's
on them, and that does become an issue of their
relationship with you. I mean, my father's eighty eight years old.
He doesn't know what a smart TV is. I mean,
I said, it's your TV smart. I don't know if

it's smart. I don't talk to it, you know. I mean, seriously,
I don't think it's a good move for Major League Baseball.
I had Netflix. I watched it was the best home
run derby ever, all the more making it probably not
a good move by Major League Baseball. Joey's and Pa

I don't know if the influencers have changed much, but
I know the technology has. Back in the day, we
only had the influencers on three channels with commercials and
stuff like the toy commercials that never really worked, such

it or not, I'm gonna DISCNNA. This would be the
kind of thing if we normally do in the first
hour and ends up being a theme for the show.
I would take Battleship and Rock'm Soccer Robots over every
toy I've ever played with in my life. When you

sunk up bat wasn't that great just guessing the suck it?
Of course, then once you hit it, you knew where
it was, and then you got close to saying, but yeah,
I used to love Rock'm Socking Robots. I used to
like to be the red too. By the way, Red Uh, Blaine.

Michael, we have our The US Navy has underwater torpedoes
that are operated by satellite. It looked to me like
the two little drone boats went in there and blew
up what looked like a submarine to me on a
type of dry dock on that footage Day show just yesterday.
So those are our drones blowing up their stuff out there.
