Primary elections are being held in five states on Tuesday…and in Michigan, the strategy of Social Democrats is being put to the test as Abdul El-Sayed holds a lead going into the primary. National Correspondent RORY O’NEILL will run down the political landscape as voters head to the polls.
It now looks like Todd Blanche is heading toward confirmation as President Trump’s new Attorney General, and Lindsey Graham’s sister has made her first political statements as a candidate for her brother’s open seat. Voters headed to the polls today, another big primary election
day in America. We have a man suspected of starting
one of the massive wildfires threatening Spokane, Washington. He'll be
in court this morning. President's headed to California to raise

money for upcoming mid terms. Still no powerball jackpot winner.
And speaking of primary elections, all eyes are really on Michigan,
where socialist Democrats are being put to the test, Abdul
al Sayed holds a lead in this primary. I'm looking
at all the polling ten to fourteen percent. The betting
odds have it over ninety percent. Roy This seems to

almost look like a foregone conclusion today in Michigan.

Well, it's always tough to do a poll for a primary, though, right,
you never know who's actually going to show up in
cast a ballot.

It's the middle of August.

A lot of voters say that they'll be there, don't
turn out, So yeah, we do want to see what
their turnout is today, because this is really the race
they're focused on to say, where is the Democratic Party
in August of twenty twenty six?

Where are they going?

Are they following the likes of doctor Abdul l Sayed,
who's endorsed by Bernie Sanders and AOC. Is that the
way the Democratic Party is going? Congresswoman Haley Stevens a
four term congresswoman, and she's got the endorsement of Chuck
Schumer and Barack Obama. She's seen as a much more
mainstream candidate who might have a better chance against Republican

Mike Rogers in the fall. So that's why everyone is
paying so much attention to this race today.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Yeah, is this progressivism versus socialism? Or is this establishment
Democrat party versus socialism? And can we read something nationally
into that. The other reality splitting hairs is is this
socialism or is this an Islamist Because though he's campaigning
as a part of the party, he doesn't really identify

himself as a socialist. And of course his biggest burning
issue is Israel. So there's a lot to try to
autopsy after this. Even that'll probably be equally ununderstood.

Well, right, because there's that political question of well, which
Democrat is best suited to win the seat? Because if
Democrats want to take control of the Senate, they need Maine,
they need Michigan, they need a couple others. But if
they don't get Michigan, then the air chances of controlling
the Senate are slim and none. So that's why there's
so much attention on the winnability question, right, who is

going to be best suited to take on Mike Rogers?
Who is gonna put he'll be a formidable Republican candidate.

To be sure, I am not an African great parrot.
I'm just going to say it a different way, but
I'm echoing what you're saying. Does the average shirts versus
skins I'm a D. Do they know the difference between
progressivism and a socialist let alone and Islamist? And will
they vote D anyway come a general election? And I'll

remind everybody Donald Trump, a Republican, just carried Michigan. So
it's possible those d's will look the other way if
you go too radically left. So there's a lot on
the line. There is the opportunity for the socialists to
do very well in the primary and not in the general.

Well, and I'm more focused on the NPA's right, the
folks who are out of the game for now and saying, well, look,
I voted for Trump the last couple of times. Is
appool ratings now in the thirties. I don't like this.
I don't like that. Maybe I'm up for a change.
But is the far left guy too far left right
as the centrist right? Yeah, that's why there's this political question.

And then we had the big debate South Carolina last
night where Lindsey Graham's sister is in a battle. We
got the Tennessee gubernatorial primary coming up anything else today
of real interest, because I mean, I think you'd have
to really be an insider to find anything other than
this Michigan race of national I.

Mean, there's a District one race in Missouri and a
District four race in Washington State maybe, but yeah, it's
all about Michigan's nation. Yeah, Kansas has one or two
as well, but it's all about Michigan because it's so
defining about the future of the Democratic Party if.

It has one. Massive changes for Medicaid eligibility are going
into effect, as new work rules are being scheduled to
go into effect across the country. Royal have that story
coming up in the third hour, and we seem to
be living an Iranian Groundhog's Day, referring to the movie
with Bill Murray. We're gonna ask Lieutenant Colonel James Carafano
who's stalling who in this because it's becoming hard to

believe that bombing on, bombing off, negotiating on, negotiating off
game can go on much longer. And I was talking
about that big debate last night in South Carolina. Our
White House correspondent John Decker was there. We'll get the
latest on that, and Todd Blanche, who seems to be
set to move forward now for confirmation, wanted to spend

a little bit of a lone time, you know, dovetailing
on what Ry and I were just talking about. Remember
who were the original form members of the squad, because
that's the founding members of this socialist movement. In fact,
they recruited AOC Alexandria Oka se Cortes to take down

a ten term Democrat in New York. She was one
of the four originals, Ilhan Omar Minnesota, Ayana Presley Massachusetts,
and Rashid Talib in Michigan. Now everybody's been fascinating. I
think Victor Davis Hansen covered this was that Friday or

this week? That was last week? Right, we had the
where he was talking about the strange bedfellows of Islamists
and socialists, And I think there is a bit of
the enemy of my enemy as my friend. But this
is pretty much how the Islamists work, kind of like
the way when Black Lives Matter was gathering and Antifa

would show up. They will join forces for leverage. So
an Islamist will play along with the socialist. If combined
they can get to a level of power. Remember the
first goal is to take over the Democrat Party, then
get rid of the Electoral College, and then dismantle the Republic.

a very distinct difference. So this is kind of going
over all the Senate polling numbers story, and the average,
real Clear Politics average is ten point two leaning l Sayed.
The highest estimate sixteen, I believe, and that was in

mid July. We have another one in late July at fifteen.
At the end of July he was up fourteen. And
the assumption is he's somewhere between ten and fourteen right now.
All of his lower pollings. I mean it began back
in early July and Stevens was leading by seven. The

next poll had l Sayed up by thirteen. Now, look,
I get it. Polling is inaccurate, but these voting models,
these betting models, are always accurate. And the betting shows
all the money's on l Sayed. So then it starts
talking about l Saya. Well, he's anti Israel. These are
not your parents or grandparents' Democrats. I mean, think about that.

Remember how David and I. He's always telling you you
got to get a hundred years behind the eyes as
somebody to really understand them. So, whoever these young people
are that are into socialism, you get one hundred years
behind their eyes. Their grandparents were dying on beaches to
defeat this stuff. Their parents grew up in the Cold

War against this stuff China, Russia. These kids apparently are
unaware of any of that. Or the way I like
to say it is, do you think these kids even
remember Barack Obama? Let alone Bill Clinton or Hillary They're irrelevant? Now.
I've talked about the pendulum between John F. Kennedy and

Ted Kennedy in my lifetime, and that's the same. Would
I mean, that's a pretty big swing. John F. Kenny
alive today would be maga let alone far right Republican.
What would Harry Truman be today? I mean, these people

So one, it's not your parents and grandparents' Democrats. Abdul
is a terrorist sympathizer who personifies the extremist move within
the Democrat Party towards a toxic union of Islamism and Marxism.

That radical alliance is also represented by officials like Ilan
Omar and Zoron Mamdani. Perfect analysis. Look at the first
four AOC is a socialist or an opportunist, same with
Presley to leave Omar mam Donnie, they're probably Islamis. And

progressive socialist candidates to oppose US foreign a to Israel,
take an anti Israel stance, and then refuse to answer
whether Israel should be a Jewish state. I assure you

do not recognize Israel's right to exist. Now today, there
are some in America that, see, why do the Democrat
Party ever allow this?

that of the DSA, such as Medicare for all, abolishing
immigration and customs enforcement, and ending Israeli American military alliances.
If al Sayed wins, the outcome could outrage Democrats who
have concerns about a candidate campaigning alongside controversial figures like

Graham Platner or Hassan Piker. Well, America gets the anti
Israel part, but do they get that do not even
acknowledge Israel's right to exist? Do they get that they're
(12:59):
ultimately gonna ride with the socialists and then kick the
socialists out just like the Democrats rode with the socialists,
and now the socialists are trying to kick them out. Now,
I will grant you eight out of ten Americans are
not paying attention at all, let alone this closely. But

for those of you that are, isn't this I mean,
what to the Chinese say? May you live in interesting times?
I'm sixty two years old. This is the most interesting
political window of my lifetime. As something's got to give.

My gut tells me you're gonna see the end of
the Democrat Party in this midterm election cycle. Now it's
gonna be the death of this socialist movement or it's
gonna be the death of the Democrat Party. And I
think it's gonna be the latter. And you may see
the death of the Republican Party come twenty twenty eight
presidential elections. That still has to be handled by the Republicans.

But for the Democrats, make no mistake about it. Axios
is right. They have no leader. It's certainly not Obama.
It's certainly not Bill or Hillary Clinton. It's certainly not
Kamala Harris. It's certainly not Gavin Newsom. But they're wrong.
It's not where they're looking their leaders right now are
Bernie Sanders meror Mom Donnie AOC And this is lomised.

with fears within the DNC that an el Sayat victory

could pull the party further left and hurt their midterm
election hopes to regain control of the House and or Senate.

After all that long national nightmare seems to be over.

And a big debate was held in South Carolina. We
got our first glimpse of Lindsay Graham's sister as a
permanent option to fill that seat. Our very own White
House correspondent John Decker was there for the debate and
he's here with the review.

Good morning, John, Hey, good morning, Good morning to you.
Happy Tuesday to you. I was at the debate last
night here in Columbia, South Carolina. I fly back to
DC this morning, and the headline here for me is
that Darlene Graham held her own first time she ever
was involved in a political debate. She was going up
(19:40):
against on the debate stage, a former South Carolina governor
to sitting US congressman. And you know what, despite the
fact she had no background at all in terms of politics,
in terms of debates, in terms of running for office,
she held her own up on that stage for a
full hour yesterday.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
That's saying a lot. You know, it could be in
the genes We talked yesterday about the balance between, you know,
writing on the coattails of her brother and turning the
attention more to domestic issues to carve out a unique
space for herself. How'd she walk that balance? Well, she did,
(20:21):
you know.
Speaker 7 (20:21):
I think that each of the candidates, each of the
five candidates on that debate stage, really focusing on domestic issues,
pocketbook issues, issues related to affordability. There was a portion
of the debate that focused on the war in Iran.
All the candidates expressing their strong support for President Trump
for his strategy regarding Iran, So no one was critical
(20:44):
at all. You can't be critical of President Donald Trump
if you're running in a Republican primary and there's only
one candidate up on that stage that had the endorsement
of Donald Trump, and that's a woman named Darlene Graham.
That counts for a lot. I think that will count
for a lot. And Trump, you know, he's accused of
a lot of things, but no Republican I don't think
out there, if you're supportive of him, is going to
(21:06):
accuse him of poor judgment. He's chosen Darlene Graham for
a reason. He thinks that she's a winner, and we'll
see if he's right. The primary takes place a week
from today, likely will be no one who gets above
fifty percent, so they'll be a runoff off.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
And it's likely that Darley and Graham will.
Speaker 7 (21:23):
Be one of those two candidates in the runoff on
August the twenty fifth.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
Against a former governor, a far more traditional path to
the US Senate. That's going to be very very interesting
to watch. I don't know what ads are like where
you live. I can tell you we've got a primary
coming up this week, and every ad, I mean every
break is a dad for a different candidate, and they
all sound right, Trump, god guns, Trump, god guns, Trump,
got guns. I mean, so yeah, you're right. And you know,
(21:52):
there's been a lot of talk about, well, Lindsey Graham
wasn't you know, so loved at home as people think.
But no one was going to bring up anything anti
Lindsey Graham, not this close to his funeral in that debate. Well,
there was one candidate who did, and DARLINGE. Graham. She
did not miss a trick.
Speaker 7 (22:09):
She said, you know the only reason why you're you know,
critical of Lindsay Graham is because you lost to my
brother that was a pretty knockout punch by her. She
was going after one of those candidates up on the stage,
a businessman who's running for the Republican nomination, who's running
far behind in the polls.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
So I was just gonna say, have we ever had
a case? I mean, I know we've had spouses replaced spouses,
but have we ever had a case of a sister
and then going on to be some kind of a
you know, great political leader in and of themselves from no.
Speaker 7 (22:40):
Very good questions A lot of spouses? You're right, I
could go through a list of a lot of spouses there.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
Lindy Boggs.
Speaker 7 (22:48):
She was the widow of Hale Bogs Elizabeth Elizabeth Dole,
well not not a widow, but Elizabeth Dole, you know,
did serve in the US Senate while her husband was
still alive. But yeah, it's very rare to see a
sister of a senator being elected. But you know, I
think that Darling and Graham has a really good shot
being the next senator from South Carolina. Of course she
(23:10):
is senator right now, but just right now, fulfilling the
remainder of her brother's term.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
Well, you know what debates are no big mistakes. Check,
have a great moment. Check, hold your own check. She
had very low expectations and delivered highly. I would say
that's a very good start for Darling. It's a good start. Absolutely.
What do you make a Todd Blanche. This whole deal
ended pretty pretty briskly. Now we're gonna have a confirmation
(23:36):
after all.
Speaker 7 (23:37):
Well, we're gonna have a confirmation vote that will take
place today in the Senate Judiciary Committee. We could have
a vote on the full Senate for today. Not known
yet if he has the votes as it relates to
winning confirmation in the US Senate, that is still an unknown.
But he won one victory yesterday when two US Senators
(23:58):
Tom Tillis of North Carolina John Cornin of Texas each
set they will vote.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
For him in the Senate Judiciary Committee. When that vote
takes place today, all right, and the President's heat it
out west. A lot of that's fundraising for the midterms.
I mean, that's a real weakness for the Democrats. This
war within their own party with the socialist Islamist and
they're a little broke and they may have a change
in their leadership down the road. For the Republicans, fundraising
will be the priority. And affordability here's a question for you.
(24:27):
Can the president sell affordability as long as this conflict
with iron continues, because the association and the conflating of
affordability with gas seems to be insurmountable. Yeah, it's tough.
It's tough.
Speaker 7 (24:41):
You know, we see these gyrations and oil, a little
bit of you know.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
A back and forth as it relates to gas. It's
just tough.
Speaker 7 (24:50):
It's a tough environment to begin with because the party
in power generally does not perform well in the midterms,
and then you add to the mix this affordability issue.
There will be some headwinds for Republicans. That being said,
we know what they're focused on. They're focused on painting
with a broad brush the entire Democratic Party as socialist

or communist, and we'll see if that works for Republicans.

Yeah, we're kind of caught in an Iranian groundhog's day.
The latest is the President calling Iran unbelievably duplicitous. They
call off bombings to start talks again, They deny the
talks are happening. They never really come to the table.
One more threat, come to the table or else double
secret Probation Service. What this is feeling like. What's coming

And speaking of primary elections, all eyes are really on Michigan,
where socialist Democrats are being put to the test, Abdul
al Sayed holds a lead in this primary. I'm looking
at all the polling ten to fourteen percent. The betting
odds have it over ninety percent. Roy This seems to

almost look like a foregone conclusion today in Michigan.

Well, it's always tough to do a poll for a primary, though, right,
you never know who's actually going to show up in
cast a ballot.

A lot of voters say that they'll be there, don't
turn out, So yeah, we do want to see what
their turnout is today, because this is really the race
they're focused on to say, where is the Democratic Party
in August of twenty twenty six?

Where are they going?

Are they following the likes of doctor Abdul l Sayed,
who's endorsed by Bernie Sanders and AOC. Is that the
way the Democratic Party is going? Congresswoman Haley Stevens a
four term congresswoman, and she's got the endorsement of Chuck
Schumer and Barack Obama. She's seen as a much more
mainstream candidate who might have a better chance against Republican

Mike Rogers in the fall. So that's why everyone is
paying so much attention to this race today.

Yeah, is this progressivism versus socialism? Or is this establishment
Democrat party versus socialism? And can we read something nationally
into that. The other reality splitting hairs is is this
socialism or is this an Islamist Because though he's campaigning
as a part of the party, he doesn't really identify

himself as a socialist. And of course his biggest burning
issue is Israel. So there's a lot to try to
autopsy after this. Even that'll probably be equally ununderstood.

Well, right, because there's that political question of well, which
Democrat is best suited to win the seat? Because if
Democrats want to take control of the Senate, they need Maine,
they need Michigan, they need a couple others. But if
they don't get Michigan, then the air chances of controlling
the Senate are slim and none. So that's why there's
so much attention on the winnability question, right, who is

going to be best suited to take on Mike Rogers?
Who is gonna put he'll be a formidable Republican candidate.

To be sure, I am not an African great parrot.
I'm just going to say it a different way, but
I'm echoing what you're saying. Does the average shirts versus
skins I'm a D. Do they know the difference between
progressivism and a socialist let alone and Islamist? And will
they vote D anyway come a general election? And I'll

remind everybody Donald Trump, a Republican, just carried Michigan. So
it's possible those d's will look the other way if
you go too radically left. So there's a lot on
the line. There is the opportunity for the socialists to
do very well in the primary and not in the general.

Well, and I'm more focused on the NPA's right, the
folks who are out of the game for now and saying, well, look,
I voted for Trump the last couple of times. Is
appool ratings now in the thirties. I don't like this.
I don't like that. Maybe I'm up for a change.
But is the far left guy too far left right
as the centrist right? Yeah, that's why there's this political question.

And then we had the big debate South Carolina last
night where Lindsey Graham's sister is in a battle. We
got the Tennessee gubernatorial primary coming up anything else today
of real interest, because I mean, I think you'd have
to really be an insider to find anything other than
this Michigan race of national I.

Mean, there's a District one race in Missouri and a
District four race in Washington State maybe, but yeah, it's
all about Michigan's nation. Yeah, Kansas has one or two
as well, but it's all about Michigan because it's so
defining about the future of the Democratic Party if.

It has one. Massive changes for Medicaid eligibility are going
into effect, as new work rules are being scheduled to
go into effect across the country. Royal have that story
coming up in the third hour, and we seem to
be living an Iranian Groundhog's Day, referring to the movie

who's stalling who in this because it's becoming hard to

about that big debate last night in South Carolina. Our

a little bit of a lone time, you know, dovetailing
on what Ry and I were just talking about. Remember
who were the original form members of the squad, because
that's the founding members of this socialist movement. In fact,
they recruited AOC Alexandria Oka se Cortes to take down

a ten term Democrat in New York. She was one
of the four originals, Ilhan Omar Minnesota, Ayana Presley Massachusetts,
and Rashid Talib in Michigan. Now everybody's been fascinating. I
think Victor Davis Hansen covered this was that Friday or

this week? That was last week? Right, we had the
where he was talking about the strange bedfellows of Islamists
and socialists, And I think there is a bit of
the enemy of my enemy as my friend. But this
is pretty much how the Islamists work, kind of like

would show up. They will join forces for leverage. So
an Islamist will play along with the socialist. If combined
they can get to a level of power. Remember the
first goal is to take over the Democrat Party, then

a very distinct difference. So this is kind of going
over all the Senate polling numbers story, and the average,
real Clear Politics average is ten point two leaning l Sayed.

At the end of July he was up fourteen. And
the assumption is he's somewhere between ten and fourteen right now.
All of his lower pollings. I mean it began back
in early July and Stevens was leading by seven. The

next poll had l Sayed up by thirteen. Now, look,
I get it. Polling is inaccurate, but these voting models,
these betting models, are always accurate. And the betting shows
all the money's on l Sayed. So then it starts
talking about l Saya. Well, he's anti Israel. These are
not your parents or grandparents' Democrats. I mean, think about that.

Remember how David and I. He's always telling you you
got to get a hundred years behind the eyes as
somebody to really understand them. So, whoever these young people
are that are into socialism, you get one hundred years
behind their eyes. Their grandparents were dying on beaches to
defeat this stuff. Their parents grew up in the Cold

War against this stuff China, Russia. These kids apparently are
unaware of any of that. Or the way I like
to say it is, do you think these kids even
remember Barack Obama? Let alone Bill Clinton or Hillary They're irrelevant? Now.
I've talked about the pendulum between John F. Kennedy and

Ted Kennedy in my lifetime, and that's the same. Would
I mean, that's a pretty big swing. John F. Kenny
alive today would be maga let alone far right Republican.
What would Harry Truman be today? I mean, these people

So one, it's not your parents and grandparents' Democrats. Abdul
is a terrorist sympathizer who personifies the extremist move within
the Democrat Party towards a toxic union of Islamism and Marxism.

Omar and Zoron Mamdani. Perfect analysis. Look at the first
four AOC is a socialist or an opportunist, same with

progressive socialist candidates to oppose US foreign a to Israel,
take an anti Israel stance, and then refuse to answer

that of the DSA, such as Medicare for all, abolishing
immigration and customs enforcement, and ending Israeli American military alliances.
If al Sayed wins, the outcome could outrage Democrats who
have concerns about a candidate campaigning alongside controversial figures like

Graham Platner or Hassan Piker. Well, America gets the anti
Israel part, but do they get that do not even
acknowledge Israel's right to exist? Do they get that they're
(12:59):
ultimately gonna ride with the socialists and then kick the
socialists out just like the Democrats rode with the socialists,
and now the socialists are trying to kick them out. Now,
I will grant you eight out of ten Americans are
not paying attention at all, let alone this closely. But

for those of you that are, isn't this I mean,
what to the Chinese say? May you live in interesting times?
I'm sixty two years old. This is the most interesting
political window of my lifetime. As something's got to give.

My gut tells me you're gonna see the end of
the Democrat Party in this midterm election cycle. Now it's
gonna be the death of this socialist movement or it's
gonna be the death of the Democrat Party. And I
think it's gonna be the latter. And you may see
the death of the Republican Party come twenty twenty eight
presidential elections. That still has to be handled by the Republicans.

But for the Democrats, make no mistake about it. Axios
is right. They have no leader. It's certainly not Obama.
It's certainly not Bill or Hillary Clinton. It's certainly not
Kamala Harris. It's certainly not Gavin Newsom. But they're wrong.
It's not where they're looking their leaders right now are
Bernie Sanders meror Mom Donnie AOC And this is lomised.

Happy Tuesday to you. I was at the debate last
night here in Columbia, South Carolina. I fly back to
DC this morning, and the headline here for me is
that Darlene Graham held her own first time she ever
was involved in a political debate. She was going up
(19:40):
against on the debate stage, a former South Carolina governor
to sitting US congressman. And you know what, despite the
fact she had no background at all in terms of politics,
in terms of debates, in terms of running for office,
she held her own up on that stage for a
full hour yesterday.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
That's saying a lot. You know, it could be in
the genes We talked yesterday about the balance between, you know,
writing on the coattails of her brother and turning the
attention more to domestic issues to carve out a unique
space for herself. How'd she walk that balance? Well, she did,
(20:21):
you know.

I think that each of the candidates, each of the
five candidates on that debate stage, really focusing on domestic issues,
pocketbook issues, issues related to affordability. There was a portion
of the debate that focused on the war in Iran.
All the candidates expressing their strong support for President Trump
for his strategy regarding Iran, So no one was critical
(20:44):
at all. You can't be critical of President Donald Trump
if you're running in a Republican primary and there's only
one candidate up on that stage that had the endorsement
of Donald Trump, and that's a woman named Darlene Graham.
That counts for a lot. I think that will count
for a lot. And Trump, you know, he's accused of
a lot of things, but no Republican I don't think
out there, if you're supportive of him, is going to
(21:06):
accuse him of poor judgment. He's chosen Darlene Graham for
a reason. He thinks that she's a winner, and we'll
see if he's right. The primary takes place a week
from today, likely will be no one who gets above
fifty percent, so they'll be a runoff off.

And it's likely that Darley and Graham will.
Speaker 7 (21:23):
Be one of those two candidates in the runoff on
August the twenty fifth.

Against a former governor, a far more traditional path to
the US Senate. That's going to be very very interesting
to watch. I don't know what ads are like where
you live. I can tell you we've got a primary
coming up this week, and every ad, I mean every
break is a dad for a different candidate, and they
all sound right, Trump, god guns, Trump, god guns, Trump,
got guns. I mean, so yeah, you're right. And you know,

there's been a lot of talk about, well, Lindsey Graham
wasn't you know, so loved at home as people think.
But no one was going to bring up anything anti
Lindsey Graham, not this close to his funeral in that debate. Well,
there was one candidate who did, and DARLINGE. Graham. She
did not miss a trick.

She said, you know the only reason why you're you know,
critical of Lindsay Graham is because you lost to my
brother that was a pretty knockout punch by her. She
was going after one of those candidates up on the stage,
a businessman who's running for the Republican nomination, who's running
far behind in the polls.

She was the widow of Hale Bogs Elizabeth Elizabeth Dole,

did serve in the US Senate while her husband was
still alive. But yeah, it's very rare to see a
sister of a senator being elected. But you know, I
think that Darling and Graham has a really good shot
being the next senator from South Carolina. Of course she

is senator right now, but just right now, fulfilling the
remainder of her brother's term.

Well, you know what debates are no big mistakes. Check,
have a great moment. Check, hold your own check. She
had very low expectations and delivered highly. I would say
that's a very good start for Darling. It's a good start. Absolutely.
What do you make a Todd Blanche. This whole deal
ended pretty pretty briskly. Now we're gonna have a confirmation

Well, we're gonna have a confirmation vote that will take
place today in the Senate Judiciary Committee. We could have
a vote on the full Senate for today. Not known
yet if he has the votes as it relates to
winning confirmation in the US Senate, that is still an unknown.
But he won one victory yesterday when two US Senators

Tom Tillis of North Carolina John Cornin of Texas each
set they will vote.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
For him in the Senate Judiciary Committee. When that vote
takes place today, all right, and the President's heat it
out west. A lot of that's fundraising for the midterms.
I mean, that's a real weakness for the Democrats. This
war within their own party with the socialist Islamist and
they're a little broke and they may have a change
in their leadership down the road. For the Republicans, fundraising
will be the priority. And affordability here's a question for you.
(24:27):
Can the president sell affordability as long as this conflict
with iron continues, because the association and the conflating of
affordability with gas seems to be insurmountable. Yeah, it's tough.
It's tough.

You know, we see these gyrations and oil, a little
bit of you know.

A back and forth as it relates to gas. It's
just tough.

It's a tough environment to begin with because the party
in power generally does not perform well in the midterms,
and then you add to the mix this affordability issue.
There will be some headwinds for Republicans. That being said,
we know what they're focused on. They're focused on painting
with a broad brush the entire Democratic Party as socialist

or communist, and we'll see if that works for Republicans.

Yeah, we're kind of caught in an Iranian groundhog's day.
The latest is the President calling Iran unbelievably duplicitous. They
call off bombings to start talks again, They deny the
talks are happening. They never really come to the table.
One more threat, come to the table or else double
secret Probation Service. What this is feeling like. What's coming

That's huge. The open border invasion that's huge, the anti
law and order that's huge. But really the breakdown of
the family, the abandonment of God, the death of journalism.

I mean, really, the last twenty five years, it's pretty remarkable.
I know every alcoholic has to come to this conclusion.
I've never battled alcoholism. But when of you hit rock bottom,
because that's the time you're going to go to rehab
and it's gonna work. By the way, I'll throw in
rehab mixed with faith, I think is the power to transform.

Otherwise I think you're probably just doing the best you
can to not do it. We'll see how long that works.
But what is rock bottom for America? This could be
it now? Does rock bottom mean end end times? Or
could it mean we're on the verge of an awakening?

You know all of this Islam. You know, Islam's a
funny game. The patient Islamists who populate, infiltrate, agitate, and
are patient and wait long enough through history they have succeeded.

There are some major Islamist nations that used to be
Christian nations. Again, if you don't study history, you missed
that full view. You're missing a lens. They played patiently
before they declared war. Is this too soon? See as

The President is headed out West, raising money for the
midterms and selling affordability, which really begs a big question

the affordability narrative. It's certainly attached to gas, and the
war in Iran is certainly creating an uncertainty with that,
and the media and the Democrats have jumped on that.
But as we saw in twenty twenty four, the question
has to be the people have moved from mainstream media.
