years later he achieved it. It would be premature to say, Mom,

going to win that Senate seat. AOC is going to
give a great run early for president, but the party's

going to snatch it from her. There's no question Bernie
Sanders is the leader of the Democrat Party and he's
not a Democrat, and he's not an independent. He's a socialist.

her a very uncertain future. So if he's not a
Democrat in twenty sixteen, why was he trying to change
the Democrat Party.

And I think the unity Chris that we've shown in
the recent efforts by Trump to repeal the Affordable Care
Act have been an energizing force for Democrats, independents, others

It's funny when you go through this and you listen,
you can hear even back eight years ago, how the
Democrats are wanting to book end Obamacare because it was
designed to fail ultimately with government healthcare and to expand

You can see how eight years later they completely got
played and got played by Bernie. And eight years later
this is how Bernie sounded as il say, Ed was winning.

there's a lot of things that point to he had
a historic primary, but he might have a historic flop
in the future.

nine percent chance. Look how that number has fallen dramatically

just a fifty nine percent chance, while Mike Rodgers, the
Republican nominee, look at this twenty one percent chance, basically
doubling now up to a forty one percent chance. So
the people who are putting their money where their mouths
are quite skeptical at this point, or at least significantly

more skeptical that Democrats will be a to hold on
to the Michigan Senate seat with El Sayed as the
nominated though I still should know he is a slight
favorite here. But given Michigan being a purple state and
given where Trump's approved rating is, I think it's quite
surprising that his numbers are not significantly higher.

Yeah, and there's money coming in, There's Trump coming in.
This is going to be a difficult road for I'll
say ed moving forward, what I love too not to
be not noticed. Isn't it funny how nobody looks at
poles anymore? We go straight to the kalshie or straight

to kind of guess where America is going. Because we're
so divided, we don't answer pole questions anymore. This is
Mark Penn, former pollster for president. It was Clinton, right, yeah,
President Clinton's pollster Mark Penn looking at the demographics behind

that primary victory in Michigan and how it relates to
the general.

The question is whether or not a lot of the
moderate Democrats who were for Stevens will say I just
won't go there, I will defect from my party. Is
it possible to find five percent that will do that?
It is highly likely that you're going to find five
percent of those Stephen voters we're going to switch to
the other side, and that alone would give a margin

of victory to Rogers.

there's five percent that voted for lsayed with the plan

This turnout and that close margin, that's a bad sign

was brilliant the way he staged the question before the
vote of holding foul chain contempt, because it begs the question,
after this introduction, how could they have voted any other way?

run a third party I call it a third party. Right,

He wants to run for president, he better start with

the question in, and then there's Bernie Sanders. And notice
when Bernie interrupts, he's basically saying, well, no in in Vermont,
you know you just you don't have to register as
a party in the primary. So I want you to
hear that part too. So I'm going back to the
very beginning. But remember this is Bernie Sanders yesterday who

was taking credit for the Democrat Party being his party.
And if somebody like James Carvel doesn't like it, he
can leave his party and go start one of his own.
But let's see how because Bernie was never a Democrat,
and here's your proof from twenty sixteen.

to the Democratic Party is an interesting one. You've you've

No, I'm an independent, And I think if the Democratic
Party is going to succeed, and I want to see
him succeed, it's going to have to open into theaw
to independence, who are probably they're probably more independence in
this country than either Democrats or Republicans. And it's not
going to open its doors to working people and to
young people and create a grassroots party. That's what we

need and what the party has got the focus on
are the most important issues facing working people.

That's the decline of the middle class.

That's the need to take on the billionaire class and
Wall Street and the insurance companies and bring people together.

A against Trump's.

Absolutely reactionary agenda and b fight for a progressive agenda,
which among other things, includes a Medicare for all single
payer program.

Now we know that that progressivism turned to socialism and
added Islamists to it, But listen to that statement from
Bernie Sanders, not a Democrat, an independent at that time,
not willing to say socialist, but everything he described that
(24:59):
needed to have happened to the Democrat Party. It's eight
years later he achieved it. It would be premature to say, Mom,
Donnie or Elsie. It'd be premature to assume elsiad's even
going to win that Senate seat. AOC is going to
give a great run early for president, but the party's
(25:21):
going to snatch it from her. There's no question Bernie
Sanders is the leader of the Democrat Party and he's
not a Democrat, and he's not an independent. He's a socialist.
And that along with being broke and probably a new
(25:41):
chair coming and this radical socialist Islamist takeover. It makes
her a very uncertain future. So if he's not a
Democrat in twenty sixteen, why was he trying to change
the Democrat Party.

With Medicare for all single pair toms?

That's going to do that? Hang on.

He also had the co chair in twenty sixteen of
the DNC with him, but that's not as relevant as
Bernie Sanders comments. Probably should have loaded this twice to
avoid this, but it happened.

Well, you know, we want to make sure that healthcare
is a right, it's not a privilege. And that's why
we fought for the Affordable Care Act. That's why we
want to continue to expand it. We want to make
sure that everybody and the Affordable Charact has made tremendous progress.

We have more work to do.

And I think the unity Chris that we've shown in
the recent efforts by Trump to repeal the Affordable Care
Act have been an energizing force for Democrats, independents, others
who share the values of inclusion and opportunity. And the
healthcare is absolutely a right in this country, or should be.
It shouldn't be a privilege, and obviously we believe that

as Democrats. Republicans don't appear.

To believe that.

You know, it's interesting you mention that because the AHCA
fight was very unifying, and as I sort of surveyed
the political landscape, you had everyone from sort of real lefties,
avowed socialists and folks who were fighting in that fight, people.

All the way much.

It's funny when you go through this and you listen,
you can hear even back eight years ago, how the
Democrats are wanting to book end Obamacare because it was
designed to fail ultimately with government healthcare and to expand
the tent in the name of an independent but really
as socialist. They bring on Bernie and these weak Democrats.

You can see how eight years later they completely got
played and got played by Bernie. And eight years later
this is how Bernie sounded as il say, Ed was winning.

Listen, Well, that's not much of a choice.

So this the gobbel doesn't want to be in my
body and the body that I belonged to, that pika
that I'll sell us Yed belongs to.

but an independent. He's really not an independent, he's a socialist.
Eight years ago he wants to influence the party. Why
because there's more independence than there are Democrats, and we
really need to get to these things that serve the
American people. Eight years later, it's my party. James Carvill

doesn't like Hassan Piker or El Sayed or any of
the Islamist or socialists. He can go start his own.
Really is remarkable what Bernie Sanders has pulled off in
eight years remarkable. And I end it with this, and
he handed the torch to AOC. She's gonna be an

early big player in the presidential nomination process. Speaking of
l Sayed, we analyzed all the numbers to turn out
was dramatically low. He barely squid by a third candidate.
Really ended up being the difference. He's very radically left.
There's a lot of people in Michigan Republicans that were
voting for him knowing he'd be easier to beat. I mean,

there's a lot of things that point to he had
a historic primary, but he might have a historic flop
in the future.

Harry Hinton. Harry Enton broke down the number no once.
Speaker 5 (29:20):
I'll say, became the favorite for that nomination, and now
that he's actually become the nominee, Democratic chances.

Have fallen dramatically.

Well, you can see it right here, Cashier prediction notts.
Take a look here, a chance to win the Michigan
Senate race.

You go back to April.
Speaker 5 (29:35):
At this point in the month, DEM's had a seventy
nine percent chance. Look how that number has fallen dramatically
down we go into Lake Michigan. Now we're talking about
just a fifty nine percent chance, while Mike Rodgers, the
Republican nominee, look at this twenty one percent chance, basically
doubling now up to a forty one percent chance. So
the people who are putting their money where their mouths
are quite skeptical at this point, or at least significantly
(29:57):
more skeptical that Democrats will be a to hold on
to the Michigan Senate seat with El Sayed as the
nominated though I still should know he is a slight
favorite here. But given Michigan being a purple state and
given where Trump's approved rating is, I think it's quite
surprising that his numbers are not significantly higher.

Yeah, and there's money coming in, There's Trump coming in.
This is going to be a difficult road for I'll
say ed moving forward, what I love too not to
be not noticed. Isn't it funny how nobody looks at
poles anymore? We go straight to the kalshie or straight
to the the betting odds. That's the only accurate way
(30:35):
to kind of guess where America is going. Because we're
so divided, we don't answer pole questions anymore. This is
Mark Penn, former pollster for president. It was Clinton, right, yeah,
President Clinton's pollster Mark Penn looking at the demographics behind
(31:00):
that primary victory in Michigan and how it relates to
the general.

The question is whether or not a lot of the
moderate Democrats who were for Stevens will say I just
won't go there, I will defect from my party. Is
it possible to find five percent that will do that?
It is highly likely that you're going to find five
percent of those Stephen voters we're going to switch to
the other side, and that alone would give a margin

of victory to Rogers.

By the way, I'll add to that, it's possible that
there's five percent that voted for lsayed with the plan
to vote against him. Let alone. I mean, you had
the two opponents together. It's more than l Sayed gotten

the primary, and that was with a twenty percent turnout.
And I don't think he was having a hard time
drawing the Arab Muslim vote. We said it that night.
This turnout and that close margin, that's a bad sign
for abdul Lsaeb. The experts are catching up. I just
don't want to end with rand Paul. I thought it

was brilliant the way he staged the question before the
vote of holding foul chain contempt, because it begs the question,
after this introduction, how could they have voted any other way?
Because if this wasn't contempt of Congress, what is.

Rand Paul? Prior to the vote?

That is what we were voting on today, not his opinions,
not his policies, not anything he said from a podium
six years ago. We were voting on whether or witness
who has received the benefit of a sweeping federal pardon
can be ordered by this committee to answer questions and

needed to buy a typical home as one hundred and
ten thousand, average household income is eighty three thousand. I'm
not an MIT Matt professor, but National correspondent Roy o'neilis
here are those numbers just don't add up to anything
but trouble.

They are trouble, And this is redfinn.

Saying, look, your housing costs should be no more than
thirty percent of your income, whether you're renting or you're buying.
So they figure if a typical house now this is
nationally speaking, costs three to five to four hundred thousand dollars,
then your typical income should be.

About one hundred and ten thousand dollars to pay for that.

But as you pointed out, national household income is about
twenty three thousand dollars less. There is good news to
the story. Two years ago it was almost a thirty
thousand dollars gap. So it's actually comes down a little
bit as more salaries are rising in recent years while
home prices are staying steady.

Yeah, the home prices are stable, they need to come down,
and if they can't, you have to dress that with inventory.
The wages have to rise to make up the difference,
and the interest rates have to come down to make
up the difference, but not good numbers, but heading in
