The twenty twenty six Metgala's theme has been announced and
when tour and Andrew Bolton confirmed that the theme will
be Costume Art, which aims to blend fashion, art, history,
and human anatomy. The Met Gala is Monday May fourth,
following its tradition of celebrating the first Monday in May.

(00:21):
Celebrities were already confirming their attendance. Steve, here's a big
question for you. Will you be there this year? Actually
showing up for the Met Gala? Will you be there?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Have you been invited to the theme last year?

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Tayloring Black Styles, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
I didn't. I wouldn't invite it to that. So you
know you ain't going this year because they sure you.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I will be at the costume Gama Costume Art.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Does it bother you that you're not invited because you.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Drum you voted me top fifty best dressed man?

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Yeah? Does that that you're not invited to the men? No?

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Because I don't I understand, man, I haven't. I don't
really participate in though, in the award portion of this business.
I took myself out of that a long time ago.
I stopped asking for invites to award shows. I stopped
asking to Holst award shows.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
I just I stopped, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
And it's not that I mean, I'm just not tapped
into the culture that way.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
I decided that my main focus was going to be
mentoring and not and not awards.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
I want to be a part of the rewards.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Okay, all right, okay, cheese.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
No really, you know. And it's not a slam against anybody.
It's not a knock.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
It's not like I was a shoe in to be
invited to everything anyway.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
No.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
No, I'm sixty eight years old. I've been on TV
over thirty years.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Now, thirty years.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Byron Allen's Grillo Awards gave me a TV Icon Award
in November before last for being an Iconic figure on television,
which was like one of my greatest awards because you know,
as a kid, that's all I ever wanted to do
was be on TV. And so I've been on that

(02:24):
thirty years. Man, And now my life is more than that.
It's about the boys and girls that come to my ranch.
It's about feeding the community. If what I did for
Thanksgiving at my ranch outstanding, that's what it was about.
Feeding two hundred and fifty families down there in Barnesville

(02:46):
and Thomasville, Georgia, and providing them with organic whole vegetables
to feed a family for four week and then Christmas,
we're giving away fifteen hundred turkeys at my ranch, you know,
along with what we give away on the radio show.

Yeah, that award and reward is different.
