Pastor Jamal Bryant of Newbirth Church in Georgia is being
a bigger blessing to the community he serves. Pastor Bryant
announced that his congregation will skip tithing for the entire
month of November and instead give canned goods to offer
support to the church's King's Table food drive. Brian told

(00:23):
his congregation quote, we have a responsibility. Our history is
going to record that this president is the very first
president in American history to starve its own citizens. Bryant
was referring to, of course, the mandate from a government
to cut the snap benefits across the country, which is
expected to happen today. This will impact forty two million Americans.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
So cut it with that?

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Are they going to cut it out, reduce it? What
are they doing it?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
They're going to right now, they're cutting cutting it off
snap right now, they're cutting it off.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Yeah, the benefits. Yeah it really is.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Yeah, that's crazy, man, forty.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Two million Americans.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
That's crazy. But see, I'm gonna tell you what's gonna
stun them though. Of that forty two the number that
is white is gonna startle them shocking. Oh yeah, we
ain't got forty two million black people over.

Here, right right, you're right.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
It ain't forty two million US anyway. So tada, I
got news for you.

Y'all voted for this here come. Yeah, he don't care

And it starts today.

This is like Passer Bryant added, quote, We're gonna perform
miracles while the government is shut down. Every Sunday in November,
bring canned food items to church, clean out your cupboards,
go to the supermarket, publish Costco, Walmart. Just don't go
to Target, he said. But this is pretty awesome though.

This is beyond I mean what he's doing. And thank you.

Yeah, giving back, serving the community, doing God's work.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yeah. Absolutely, Moving on.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
As a government shut down is shutting down this food
stamp funding, the food delivery giant DoorDash has announced a
nationwide relief campaign to help millions of Americans that will
lose access to those Snap benefits. Door Dash has revealed
plans to give away one million free meals and wave
delivery fees for three hundred thousand grocery orders placed by

Snap recipients. The campaign is called Emergency Food Response and
it will run through the month of November and to
lessen the blow for families that will lose their benefits.
I'm sure we will see more major corporations stepping up
and offering food services. So you know, thank you to
door Dash to Pass to Jamal Bryant's.

But this is going to affect everybody.

Speaker 5 (03:05):
This is going to affect the economy because people are
not going to be able to grocery shop. Grocery stores
are going to be affected. You are heard people with farmers,
families with children with special needs, disabilities, lower income families.

This is insane.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
I'm going to read something to you all that I
just looked up.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Okay, Approximately fifteen zero point four million white people receive
SNAP benefits, which is about thirty seven percent of the
total forty two million recipients. This is based on the
most recent USDA data, which shows that white individuals make
up the largest racial group receiving SNAP benefits.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
But somehow the perception is them more.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Breakdown of recipients by race White thirty seven percent, African
Americans twenty six percent, Hispanics sixteen percent, Asian three percent,
Native American two percent, and race unknown sixteen percent.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
We're twenty six percent and they think it's all.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
Us, And it was Okay, when it was when they
thought it was just yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
But now hold on, let me see. Let me throw
you another thing in here.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Okay, when you say race unknown, and they sixteen percent.
A lot of them white people too, because a lot
of white people don't check white and they.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
Block they just assumed.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Yeah, so a lot of that's sixteen percent gonna be
white too.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
That number is higher than that, y'all.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
I just looked this up because I want you all
to understand what's gonna happen. I told you they don't
care about nobody, but they had you believe in that
DEEI was about us.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
That welfare is We're gonna stop all this welfare. That's right.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Well, y'all, white people are thirty seven percent of it,
of the forty two million, fifteen million, five hundred and
forty thousand or white uscuits, and they finna get cut
off today. Now, now let me explain something to you.
We know how to be without.

Yeah, the truth.

Taken not giving out. We used to that. This wouldn't
be a shaka right here. And these are a large
in rural areas. It's a lot of people in inner
city and a lot of these are Mega.

Snack or Red States.

Speaker 6 (05:43):
