What's on your mind?
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Man?
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Let me ask you this up man, and you taught
to us this morning about something. I know you have
a lot of experience here by being patient in this
process while you're on your journey. You know, we want
everything that happen right now, and we want to do
it because maybe some people doubted us, maybe some people
didn't believe in us, and we want to show but
we impatient in this process. How do you how did
you have to deal with that?
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Well?
Speaker 3 (01:05):
I'm impatient too, I'm I'm in I'm I'm very human.
I'm just like everybody else when I get through praying
for something I want. When I'm praying for it is
you because I won't it and I and I and
I want it immediately. What I've had to learn, though,
is I have to I had to learn to trust.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
In his timing of it.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
He heard me, he knew what I wanted before I
asked him for you, so and and he's boxed it
up and he shipped it's on the way. But when
God boxes it up and ships it to you, the
thing he will not do is tell you the date
that the package is going to arrive, because that would
(01:51):
destroy the one thing that you all have to have
in this relationship, which is faith. Faith is a belief
in things that you cannot see. So you have to
trust in his timing. That's the thing you have to learn.
You're gonna be impatient because you're human. Lord, where you
at like for okay, forgive you an example. You're praying
(02:15):
for a financial breakthrough because you really want it, because
you're tired of the struggle. Right and in the process
of waiting on this financial breakthrough, you have to realize, hey, man,
I'm actually surviving right now.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
I'm actually still paying my rent.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
I'm still making the car not It may be hard,
but I still keep coming up with it.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
And in that you have to show some form of gratitude. See.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
But what happens to people is we ask God for
this financial overflow and it don't get here, and we
study complaining about that, and we forget that we're still
making it so that if you look around, you ain't
lost nothing. You ain't had to sell nothing, ain't nobody
repold nothing, You ain't got no eviction notices on nothing,
(03:08):
you quit. You failed to look at that because you're
so focused on what you don't have yet. But looking
at what you don't have cannot allow you to lose
sight of what you do have. And if you could
get those two things to line up correctly, bam Man,
you can be all right and trust in his time
(03:28):
and then know that God ain't ever been late.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Tell me the last time he was late. God's perfect timing. Steve,
you're right, you're listening. Steve Hardy Morning Show
