Speaker 1 (00:01):
All right, Steve, Lisa and Laurel Maryland says. I work
as a dispatcher and on Fridays we do a potluck
lunch or will order pizza or a deli sandwich tray.
My coworker always chips in the same amount of money
that we all chip in, but she takes way more
food than we do. She always fixes her husband to
play the pizza or sandwiches to take home with her,

(00:22):
and many of us in the office think the leftover
should be divided amongst us, or she should chip in
more if we're feeding her husband. What do you think
needs to happen here?

Speaker 2 (00:31):
I think y'all need to stop having it.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Why food?

Speaker 2 (00:40):
You know what? Listen? Why is bringing food to the
office and then you want it back? What you take
it down there?

Speaker 1 (00:46):
For?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
If I take food down to the office and everybody
picking in it, you think I won't take any of
that back to my house? Not me, not after everybody
has been in there. See, I don't understand people like that.
Listen to me, man, stop participating in the pot Look,
if you don't want to just leave it. When you
take your dish, just take your dish. That's your donation
to the partmer. You can't possibly want to take it

(01:09):
back home? Who do that?

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Well, No, though, that's the point.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
They do, well, see, but you ain't got to be
one of them. If I'm supposed to bring a pan
of rolls, and I bring a pan of rolls and
they need all of them, but twelve of the rolls,
I don't want them twelve.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
But that's you, Steve Well. They feel like who she asked.
I know, but that's your experience. They still want to
take it home. But you're telling I can't.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
I can't tell you to think in a way that
I don't think. You know what I'm saying. I'm sorry
you think if they think that's some rich boy attitude
and stuff. But I've been that way at all levels
of my life. Once I take something down there and
everybody pick on it, that's yours, you can't touch it. No,
you can't touch nothing belonging to me, and then expect

(01:57):
me to still want it. Was eating with a dude
of a lawyer and we were at Toile restaurant and
we ordered the duck. I was gonna get the duck
by myself. Didn't nobody want nothing? He said, I eat
it with you? Because they only bring you one whole duck.
I was just gonna eat what I want and then
leave it alone. This dude had his chopstick. He would
take reach over with chopstick with a piece of duck,

(02:21):
dip it in the sauce, put it in his mouth.
Then with the same chopstick, he'll move a piece of
duck out the way and pick another piece of duck. Yo, dude, yo,
what you're doing?

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:33):
See now, I'm.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Yeah, ok yeah, yeah, that's yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
And you can't watch everybody at the office. Somebody then
touched it. That's just me.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
I was gonna ask a question. Go ahead, you got
ask Okay. So if I ordered like a platter of sandwiches,
right and I bring I go get them myself. I
go get the sandwiches, and I bring them to work
for y'all. And then I open and the container for
the for the sandwiches, and I pull a few of

(03:04):
the sandwiches out to the side or to bring home
to Tosh or for me to eat later for Tasha.
Something wrong with that, No, I'm.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Just it is something wrong with that, because yeah, for
the off his own thank you, you know, got the
office and then Tosh Saidwich, don't work down here, work
down here, don't work down the bank.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Example, I just asked the question the bank. You see
how that cargo?

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Yeah, now the bank don't work Tosh eating down? Now
what is he finish? Come over here.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Last time by subways?

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Like she said, then cancel the pot luck. I guess
we can't have any more. I want to justice Smoe
leg from subway. So you're just saying, huh, who's who's

(04:17):
the who's the chief?

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Scape that our group though on this show, who's the chief.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Who don't want to spend the money.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Sharlotte Sandwich ain't going to buy no sandwiches.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Wanted to pick something to mess with me. All Right,
we gotta go. Coming up at twenty minutes after, we'll
have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this,
you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
