All right, it is time to check Steve's voicemail. If
(00:02):
you would like to leave a message for Steve, call
him eight seven seven twenty nine Steve eight seven seven
twenty nine. Steve, you might just hear your call on
the air like this one from Lonnie Steve. Lonnie's from Michigan.
He's married three times, but he needs your advice.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Come on, hey, Steve, my name is Lonnie. I just
wanted to call in about it. You know I've been
married three times. I'll say, my wife are there? You
know they passed away, not till my joint, just the
elvis that they had. And now I'm in what they
(00:37):
call that commission to where I can't deal with any
more women because I'm afraid. Tell me what you think
about that? Peak out my bottles and I love your show.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
Well, Lonnie, don't, I don't never been in commission before.
Did you mean remission? I don't know what you mean.
Did you mean submission? Shn't. I don't really know, Lonnie,
but I think what you need to do, Lonnie, just
go sit down some well, because you know, man, when
you ain't sure, Lonnie, just stop, see your your problem
(01:11):
is you want to keep going in forward motions. Sometimes
you got to be still, you got to trust, you
got to say a prayer, You gotta wait on the answer. Now,
I don't know what I heard you say, but it
thought like you said one of.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
Them died or three all three?
Speaker 3 (01:29):
Explain something, Lonnie. Don't nobody want you at this point.
I'm just gonna be real with you because it seemed
like hooking up with you is leads to early premature depth. Yeah, well,
I know what he said. You don't think it. Yeah,
but everybody is dying. Now it's time for you to
(01:49):
sit you down. Stop killing people. That's what you need
to do. But why is they dead?
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Though?
Speaker 4 (01:57):
All of them?
Speaker 3 (01:58):
Everybody, man, Lonnie die? Now how that one and one
is two and then too? Lonnie? Is always you? You
is the one of the ones in the equation of
one plus one equals two two two people get together,
(02:18):
one of them die, who left the other one in lunny?
Now that ain't a good track record. You tell a
woman that you day Now, I've been married three times
and all of them have died. You will never be
on the date long Right after that statement, you know
how many people gonna get them go to the power room,
and go get in their car. Somebody in commission right now,
(02:42):

He's grieving.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
All right, we have a new mission.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
That's what he needs.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
All right.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
We have another one, steam Uh. We played a voicemail
from a male caller from Philly Steve that said his
wife doesn't want him yelling or disciplining their son. And
we have a caller. Remember that, we have a caller
who left a comment.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Take a listen, good morning. I just have one question.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
Steve Harvey was saying, the one thing that a man
knows how to do is be a man. I was
just wondering if Steve Harvey could give us the people
examples of what that is, and that is being a man,
or you and your mind frame, Steve, or knowing.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
What a man is and what you know.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
You were just talking about disciplined child, and let that
man disciplined the child.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Is one thing.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
Men are not good at a lot of things. For
one thing, they are good at being a man. So
I just want to know what are the things that
you know that you are a good man.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Manhood is simple. We only have a few basic groups.
We protect, we profess and we provide. That is the
basic aura of manhood. Professing his love for you, protecting you,
and providing for you. The number one rule of manhood
is just do what you say you're gonna do. If
(04:13):
a man does everything he says he's gonna do, he
garners the respect of his children, he gets to respect
of his coworkers, he gets to respect of all his friends,
he gets the respect of the woman he's dating. He
gets everybody's respect. Those are the three things. Protection, proficion
and providing. Professing, protecting and providing, and do what you
(04:36):
say you're gonna do. That's manhood all day.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Yeah, all right, Steve, thank you. Coming up next, today's
prank phone call from the nephew. Right after this, you're
listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
